So I recently reblogged a post about schools having non-official student accounts and ever since I have had ideas about Camp Half blood having one.
Enjoy.

Not me realizing Painting Flowers by All Time Low from the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack is also a perfect metaphor song for Apollo and Hyacinthus because Apollo "lost his head" at the sight of Hyacinthus getting hit with a frisbee, turned Hyacinthus in a flower, and painted on the petals, and then Hyacinthus gets revived and is brought back to Apollo as if his death was just a bad dream. Being one of Dionysus’s kids at Camp Half Blood must be so awkward because your dads like 20 feet away and he’s a camp meme. Was forced to be sober and be a babysitter to heroes for 100 years by your grandpa for having too many wild parties and chasing an off limits wood nymph twice, and also fake claims people to try and bring him wine against Zeus’s wishes.

Okay I just had an idea and I *had* to share it. I don't even ship Valgrace but this was too good not to think about. A Leo Valdez/Jason Grace 'Red, White & Royal Blue' AU.
Note: English isn't my first language, so please keep that in mind
Leo Valdez, who is half-Mexican, the son of the first American Latina female President, the one and only goddess amongst women, Esperanza Valdez. Leo, who always wanted to fix things and decided to follow his mother's footsteps in politics as a way to solve the issues he sees in his country. Leo, whom the public loves because of his sense of humour, quick wit and charm, who becomes America's sweetheart almost immediately when the elections first started.
And then you have Jason Grace, who has been born into the Royal Family and has had those duties and expectations on his shoulders from such a young age. Jason, who knows he will become a leader at some point, because his older sister, Thalia, is a rebel who refuses to conform to his family's expectations and ran away and abdicated the second she could. Jason, who is loved by his people, who is the white boy of the month every other month.
Zeus is the king, because of course he is. His Majesty, who doesn't really approve of the USA's election of Esperanza, because he sees her as lesser.
Leo and Jason who start off at the wrong foot because of something Jason unintentionally said, something that was his father's opinion and, of course, it was offensive to Leo, who immediately figured that Jason was a racist, privileged white guy who couldn't see past the tip of his nose.
Jason who's the one wearing glasses when he's at Kingston Palace and Leo who's caught off-guard by how casual he looks with them, how relaxed, not like the heir to an entire empire with a history of blood and slavery.
Leo, whose best friend is Piper McLean, the daughter of Tristan McLean, whose gaydar is immaculate and she's the one to open Leo's eyes that maybe Jason is gay, but isn't allowed to show it.
Jason, whose best friends are Percy Jackson and Nico di Angelo, who also happen to be his cousins on his dad's side (yes, it's pathetic that his best friends are his cousins but he didn't really get many chances to be social growing up, okay?!), who are both incredibly chaotic in their own ways. Percy, who immediately gets along with Leo and the two exchange sassy comments and send each other memes constantly. Nico, who knew Leo was bi before Leo himself knew, and fed into Jason's delusions until he had the balls to kiss Leo on his famed New Year's Party.
Thalia, who would be in the picture occasionally, but is mostly busy touring the US with her rock/metal band called 'The Hunters', whose first album was inspired by Greek Mythology and specifically the myths surrounding Artemis, which is so what they titled their debut album.
Annabeth, who is Piper and Leo's genius best friend and the only keeper of the singular braincell in their trio, who has been wanting to become the youngest woman to ever hold a Senate seat ever. Percy, who is completely enamoured by her the second he sees her and the two start their own romance on the side.
I'm obsessed with this idea, I think it has so much potential.
I wrote that very quickly and I've barely proof-read it, but I just felt like the idea had to get out of my head because it deserves to be shared with the fandom. If someone wants to continue developing this, I would love to read more. If someone has alr written something like this and I'm not the first genius to think of it, please let me know!

Percy Jackson Careers
I'm tired of everyone writing Percy as a marine biologist, so I've compiled a list of jobs he would actually have as an adult.
Teacher. Specifically a middle school Latin teacher, modeled after his year in Chiron/Mr. Brunner’s class. Maybe he just does it because he likes kids and likes teaching, maybe he works as like a long-term sub to get into schools where they think there are half-bloods. I don’t know, but I could totally see him as a teacher in some capacity, and I think he would work really hard to make sure that none of his students feel the way he did in school.
Underwater archaeologist. This is a real thing. There are a lot of shipwrecks that are accessible and provide valuable resources, as well as a lot of ancient sites that are now underwater as a result of shifting coastlines and changes in sea level. @phykios has a great post about Percy as an underwater archaeologist here.
Plumber. Because he is after all Supreme Lord of the Bathroom.
Electrician. Because he loves to mess with the gods. He becomes an electrician as a 'fuck you' gesture to Zeus.
Demigod Union Rep. I know we all joke about how Percy ‘pay your damn child support’ Jackson essentially appointed himself as the demigod union rep at the end of The Last Olympian, but what if they made that official? He takes a class on Ancient & Immortal Laws in college, and now demigods call him in whenever they’re having issues with a god. They all pay “union dues” so he can collect a salary of sorts.
Aquarium worker. There are several possible routes Percy could take to work in an aquarium. I've listed a few ideas below.
Presenter/Educator. Like, the guy who does the little shows for kids and shows all the school groups around. Percy is great with kids, and I think he’d have so much fun presenting, but also just interacting with kids and families visiting the aquarium.
Aquarist. This is apparently a real word for a person who takes care of fish, which my sister discovered by googling 'zookeeper but aquarium.' Anyway, Percy would be the person who cleans their tanks and sets their diets and provides enrichment, etc. Also, accredited aquariums would have a research branch to study fish and observe behavior, and Percy would be super helpful because he could just. Ask the fish.
Social media manager. He would have so much fun posting memes and fun facts on the aquarium's social media accounts, and I think his sarcasm would make him a huge hit on the internet, a la Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. Plus, I think he would spread fish gossip all over Twitter.
If you have any more, please feel free to add them!

Record Of Ragnarok Sona
Sorry if there isn't any description of what my Sona looks like. If you saw the meme I made about a god Blogger, that's my meme here is the link
Poseidon VS Sasaki
Name: Sora
Species: Demigod,Human (Formerly)
Height: 5’1 FT
Gender: Female
Pronouns: She/her
Affiliation: Gods, Humanity, Interviewer/Social Media
Personality: She’s generous and forgiving towards less powerful individuals and those she views as a rival. However, she deeply supports humanity, but there is still a strong semblance of respect towards the gods. She can be playful and gullible to a certain extent, and is full of lively energy. She isn’t afraid to take responsibility for her actions, apologizing for her mistakes. As a stubborn individual, she stands firm with her decisions. She’s very caring and kind like an older sister, and fairly emotionally sensitive and passionate about her work. She can act childish and brash at times, which contributes to her sudden clumsiness. She’ll only drop the child-like act when she recognizes that her current situation is serious. She has a good sense of humor that she isn’t afraid to use during her interviews. She’s humbly confident and fairly courageous, but she’s afraid to interview with one person, which is Poseidon.
Backstory: Sora suffered a lot from her family members through her childhood into adulthood she would feel like an outcast from her family, willing to help them when needed or just to do what they said. During the middle of a war, she helped some of the people who were left behind and tossed aside. However, she would be hurt in the process from soldiers who intended to kill everyone in their wake. They killed and severely injured the people she helped, making her efforts futile, and left her to bleed to death. Odin was simply minding his own business when he came across Sora, taking interest in her potential. Odin stole some of Zeus’ blood with the intention of creating a loyal follower. He offered the blood of Zeus to her and she hesitated at first, but eventually came to the conclusion that it’s best to do so. At that moment, she became a demigod and was grateful for Odin’s unexpected help. Odin is a scary and mean individual, but he was compelled to tell Sora that she should pretend to be his daughter. He’s simply hiding the fact that she’s a demigod in order to gather more valuable information on the Primordial God, Arkhé. As a social media interviewer, Zerachiel and Malphas like to help her with certain tasks such as setting up dates and observing which gods and humans would be good interview candidates. Sora adopted Zerachiel and Malphas when they got abandoned.

I plan for Penelope and Helen to be little shits but it's in different ways.
Their husbands' differences are pretty clear in how while they're both badass simps, one is feral and one says his please and thank you's.
But for Helen and Penelope, it's a little more complicated. Kind of was looking at silly memes and textposts once more to have fun and "point out who's who" but realized I thought of both Penelope AND Helen for the same one often. And I was thinking "Why is that?" as I KNOW I plan for them to be different and it made me realize that while they may view things similarly in a way, how they'd HANDLE the situations would be different if that makes sense. It's like having 2 triangles but they're different colors.
I think it's because in a way, it's like they've been "given certain cards to deal with and that affects how they handle things." Penelope is the youngest and smallest of her siblings and likes "playing people into her hand." She's 3/4 Naiad but so many people around her have Naiad blood and many would be able to tell if she's using it to fuck with people. (or at least can tell it's being manipulated) so she has to be sneakier with her "tricks" and usually won't use water. (until she's on Ithaca where she's basically the only naiad among humans) She also loves playing dumb to "who did it?" and won't take credit. She likes making people believe it was either an act of the gods so therefore "you deserve it" and also just still being on people's "good side".
Helen on the other hand, being a daughter of Zeus and powerful herself, is pretty straightforward with her "schemes". She can change her voice and will use that when she's sneaking into the stable to make Pollux and Castor's horses look silly with their manes and tails to make the stablehand go off somewhere else because he believes he's being called so then she can get away. So while she'll "hide", later on when she sees her brothers' faces, she'll openly laugh out loud and take the credit. She kind of doesn't care about getting into trouble and feels things "are deserved and I'm not gonna hide that." She's one of the few people (other than one brother) who can do what she can do and she's intimidating and she knows that. Plus she can bat her lashes a few times and get away with things... Theseus' kidnapping her was a moment of "Oh shit, I sometimes CAN'T get my way outta things" and yeah. :') She's changed by the whole thing Remember Theseus was going to WAIT for her to be at marriageable age. I'm not gonna put our girl through more shit.
Penelope makes waddled-up threads look like bugs and leaves them in a place for them to get scared by where she can watch. Who knows who did it?
Helen will look you dead in the eye as the air pressure changes and your ears start popping. She'll poke your arm and you'll get a static shock. "Sorry! That sometimes happens! 😌 Anyways, what did you say about Menelaus?"
Kind of plan for them to be a lot like sisters (I'm basing this on me and my own cousins relationships :D ) as they're both clever and want to mess with things.
Helen has always had an interest in potions and probably just brewing and cooking as a whole (let me have fun. Let her COOK) even before she was in Egypt. She'll be like
Helen: "Psst, Penelope put this in Castor and Pollux's drinks" Penelope, already taking it: "What is it? What will it do?" Helen: It's gonna make their voices sound funny. >:) Penelope: Fuck yeah >:D
Also the fact that Menelaus is calmer than his wife but Odysseus and Penelope encourage each other to be messed up.

ask meme since Pin-Lee was taken: the literal goddess Athena. throwing the apple of discord at you
Kat are you trying to get me smited :P
First impression
Age 10 or so: wow! Cool smart warrior lady! Also I love that she decides to stay unmarried forever for reasons I don’t know how to express!
Impression now
Age now: wow! Cool smart warrior lady! Also I love that she decides to stay unmarried forever for reasons I know Exactly how to express!
… although tempered a lot with more knowledge about Ancient Greece and different variants on the gods’ stories, the social context of when the different ones were written, and why. I’m actually more fascinated now with Athena’s portrayal as the goddess of merciful justice, as she is in the Oresteia; neither Apollo’s smug righteousness, nor the Furies’ screaming for vengeance and blood. However, a lot of these portrayals of wise, just, balanced, merciful Athena come from Athenian playwrights who were obviously biased towards their city’s patron, and against Apollo (who was associated with Sparta, the city Athens was at war with at the time). She could certainly be selfish in the way of the Bronze Age gods in the Bronze Age stories.
I’m also interested in her association with crafts, specifically women’s crafts. Crafts being recognized as taking the same kind of logic, planning, intelligence, and importance as war tactics. Athena spanning this masculine space of war and feminine space of craftworking.
And the ambivalence of her eternal virginity—Athena only able to have that position of power and respect she does because no man is allowed to dominate, master, and functionally own her, the way classical Greek views on gender hierarchy and sexism assumed was the natural way of men and women. Athena has to take on masculine characteristics to be powerful in this manner. As much as I wanna go hell yeah genderqueer aroace icon there’s also the fact that it’s heavily rooted in sexism. She’s a fascinating, complex, ambivalent figure.
Favorite moment
I’m very fond of the story where Athena was raised alongside Triton’s daughter Pallas, as sisters and friends. They both practiced the arts of war and would practice and spar together. Then, once, either they had a falling-out and the fighting became real; or they were sparring and ply-fighting, but either way, Zeus, afraid for his daughter and Meddling, distracted Pallas, and Athena accidentally killed her. Athena, heartbroken at the death of her friend, which she genuinely wasn’t trying to do!, built a statue in her honor and adopted her name “Pallas” in honor and memory.
Idea for a story
She’s Odysseus’s patron, and Telemachus’s mentor (ha), but as the goddess of weaving and tactics and cleverness… I would LOVE to see her interacting with Penelope more. The woman known for her cleverness, and her weaving skill, and for using weaving as a tactic in her cold war against her suitors. I would DESPERATELY love to see Athena and Penelope during the time period when Telemachus was growing up, or while he was off in Sparta and Pylos, and Penelope was holding down her palace and kingdom alone.
Unpopular opinion
Ovid’s renditions of the myths are fine. Yes even the one where Athena turned Arachne into a spider out of spite, and the one where Athena made Medusa a monster. They’re not the only versions or the version that your own mythic/literary tradition needs to draw on, but they’re compelling and interesting. They were written from a very specific cultural and political perspective, but that perspective is fascinating in its own right. It’s not Ovid’s fault that most of our knowledge of Greek literature comes from Athenians who are biased towards Athena and portray her as great.
Favorite relationship
I’m a simple normie, I like Athena lavishing attention on Odysseus as her champion during the war, a warrior after her own heart, and the way even when he pisses her off after the war and she withholds her help anymore she starts to feel kiiiiinda bad about it. And she strikes up a friendship/mentorship with Telemachus and starts advocating for him to the other gods again. Odysseus and his son as Athena’s… projects, supplicants, maybe even in the strange way of gods and men, friends.
Favorite headcanon
I think she is SO pleased that even though she lost the judgement of Paris, she won the war (not even the Trojan War, the war for the hearts and minds of the people. She is Everyone’s Favorite Greek Goddess now)
