My Girl

Chase Randall x Fem!Reader

Summary: You go to the Dino Bite Cafe to find your boyfriend Chase, to ask him something. But he is still on his shift, so you start singing along to the song on the radio.

Note: Y/F/M = Your Favorite Musical.

You walked into the "Dino Bite Cafe" to wait for Chases' shift to finish. The Soundtrack of Y/F/M was playing on the Radio, and you did the most unexpected thing ever.

"Chase!" Tyler called out.

Chase groaned. "What?!"

"You're staring at Y/N." The Red Ranger teased with a smirk, to which Chase rolled his eyes and replied,

"She is my girl, I can look at her."

"Yeah, but you've been standing there for 5 minutes." Riley, the Green Ranger added.

Ms Morgan, aka Kendall, aka the Purple Ranger, walks into the kitchen, stating, "Hey, back to work."

After you finished, Chase ran to you and pulled you to the back of the cafe, smiling. Sure, Ms Morgan was gonna be pissed, but he sure as hell more wanted to be with you than doing his job.

"Hi." He grinned. You smiled at him and giggled,

"Hey. Why'd you pull me in here?"

"Maybe it's 'cause I want to kiss my girl in private," Chase states playfully.

"What if Koda comes in? He'll be traumatised." You joked.

Chase gave a look as he said, "You don't wanna kiss your boyfriend?"

"I mean, I want to, it's just-"

As you continued to ramble on, Chase decided the best way to shut you up was by kissing you. So he did. You were caught off guard by the action, but you kissed back. It was only for a few seconds before Riley walked in.

The Green Ranger just stood there. Chase turned to his friend, hand still on your waste.

"Did you need something?"

Riley shook his head as he replied, "Just a takeaway box. But I'll just leave."

"Riley, here." You gave him the box.

"Thanks." He said and walked out.

You looked at Chase and playfully pushed him as you pouted, "I told you someone would come in."

"Well, it wasn't Koda." He smirked cheekily.

"Oh, shut up." You state, acting mad at him.

The Black Ranger smiled and kissed you again, but before it could go anywhere, your phone started ringing. You took your phone out of your pocket and answered the call.

"Y/N, where are you?"

"Dad, hey. Umm, just went to see Chase."

"Did you ask him yet?"

"Dad."

"Well?"

"No, not yet."

"Ask him."

"I'm not sure if he'll wanna come."

"Just ask him. Also he can come over tonight, just no funny business."

"Okay, got it."

"Bye, sweetheart. I love you."

"Love you too, bye."

You put your phone back in your pocket.

"What was that all about?" Chase asked, curiously.

"Uh, well, my Dad wants to know if you wanna come to the Family Gathering. It's my grandma's birthday. But if you don't want to, that's fine.-" You explained in a rant.

Chase sighed and stated, "Y/N!" to end your rant, which it did.

"What?" You asked with a slight pout.

"Of course, I wanna come," Chase says.

You sighed, "But what about your job as the black ranger?"

"I'm sure the rest of the team can handle it. Plus, I don't want to miss this. It's your grandma's birthday. I would be a terrible boyfriend if I didn't come. And I haven't met her yet, so." Chase replied.

You smiled at Chase and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

He smiled, "When is it?"

"It's tomorrow." You answered.

"Well, good thing I'm not working tomorrow." Chase shrugged.

"I'll let my dad know you're coming. Fair warning, don't say you already ate because she will tell you to eat. She'll be upset if you don't eat." You warn. Chase chuckled and gave you that smile you fell in love with as he said,

"Noted."

"Chase, get your butt in here." Ms Morgan called out.

Chase chuckled softly, "Well, that's my cue."

You nodded your head. "Yeah, I better go home. My Dad said you can come over tonight. And please, for peat's sake, use the front door!" You giggled.

"I will, I love you." He pecks your cheek.

"Love you too." You mumbled in response.

You walked out of the storage room and went home. Chase then left the storage room only to see friends look at him strangely.

hi katrin i am such a huge fan of your meta analyses on hannibal. i was wondering if you ever had any thoughts of what would happen during s4 and if you ever had plans of writing your own post-fall story. i feel like you would absolutely crush it!!

Hi! Thank you, I'm so glad you found my metas useful!

I'm so satisfied with S3 ending and with the stories of other writers that I never felt an itch to write my own version of S4. Largely because I genuinely think Hannibal and Will have overcome the worst of their obstacles in the show, and now they only have a way up. In my fics, I prefer to tackle the biggest conflicts and drama myself, so I don't have a story interesting enough to tell.

I have a list with the post-canon recs here if you're interested, though they are pretty old at this point.

As for my thoughts on S4, I have two versions, one that I think is logical and one that Bryan might have created.

For the former, I imagine Will and Hannibal learning how to live together, and Will slowly figuring out the extent and specifics of his darkness.

Will consists of unpredictability, and Hannibal is fascinated by it. I think Will is going to kill when an impulse strikes. For example, he might go shopping, without having any dark plans, and end up murdering someone because the circumstances pushed some unfortunate soul onto his path. Will might or might not display the body depending on his mood. Today he can be in an artistic mood, but tomorrow he’ll be in a violent and impatient one, wanting to destroy the body entirely and leaving a total mess behind.

Will might prefer to kill “bad people” in the first two seasons, but it’s the process of murder that excites him. So I see his righteous choices as a preference that helps him justify his dark nature partly, not the core reason for his violence. Hannibal seems to be moved by his interest in human nature and his hunter instinct, but Will, I think, is a truer killer because he actually feels drunk on murder. Unlike Hannibal, he looks downright euphoric when/after he kills Randall and Francis. In TWOTL, Hannibal is more focused on the fact that his dream came true and he and Will killed someone together, but Will seems primarily caught up in the murder after-shocks themselves. Hannibal thinks about Will, Will thinks about how beautiful blood looks under the moonlight.

So, I believe that at first, Will will stick to killing bad people like murderers, but once some times passes, his need for justifications will fade. He’ll move on to rude people, only his rude will differ from Hannibal’s. Hannibal doesn’t differentiate between genders and ages, but I think Will will. He’s interested in a feeling of power, like he himself says, in a sense of dominance, so he’ll look forward to a fight. He won’t be interested in attacking a teenager like Cassie, for instance, because the power imbalance is too prominent. But as soon as someone more equal does something Will heavily dislikes, something that wakes his bloodlust (a personal insult, physical or verbal abuse toward other people/animals, etc.), he’ll attack. He’ll be careful - he knows how to avoid being caught, but it will still be unpredictable and passionate. Will is a storm to Hannibal’s calm.

As for Bryan's version, he said a great variety of things about what S4 could be about over the years, to the point where it's nearly impossible to form one coherent picture. Here is my attempt on it.

Will is going to feel drunk on his newfound darkness and freedom. He was repressed for so long that now that he Became, he’ll be losing his focus and drowning in his own preferences, forgetting what they were and turning into a much more vicious monster any of us expected. He’ll be chasing the high he felt from killing Francis and failing to find it. He’ll be surrounded by blood, his past victims (hence the return of everyone dead, like Bryan mentioned), and more madness. A part of him will want to impress Hannibal, to prove that he’s a worthy partner (which is supported by Will seeking Hannibal’s approval throughout the show - the way he glances at him after biting Cordell is a good example; the way he has low self-esteem and knows Bedelia failed Hannibal’s expectations). So he’ll be acting more and more violently.

Hannibal will see that Will is losing himself in a new way. He won’t want to start a physical relationship with him (which Bryan mentioned) because he’ll be afraid that it isn't for the right reasons, that Will is too far gone to made decisions. So, he’ll feel like the best therapy would be to push Will even more and make him realize that he’s approaching their new life from the wrong angle, to make him figure out that this isn't the kind of killer he wants to be. To do this, Hannibal’s manipulation will entail them going after Alana and Margot.

Will won’t be fond of the idea but Hannibal will manipulate him into accepting it, intending it as a test that will finally make Will snap out of his state. So Will will initially help hunt them down but then he’ll realize this isn’t what he wants to do. Hence finally getting his mind back and being happy in S5.

Underground Railroad: a gay slave rides a real railroad in the surrealist South

The Underground Railroad was a network of safe houses and allies that helped enslaved African-Americans escape to the North, or after the Fugitive Slave Act, to Canada.

The 2023 tv miniseries suggests that it was a real railroad, a series of trains and tunnels run by an intricate bureaucracy. As Cora and her friends and love interests head north, pursued by slave-catcher Arnold Ridgeway, they encounter bizarre communities and have adventures that comment on the racism in the pre-Civil War South and the contemporary U.S. I reviewed Chapter 1, "Georgia."

Scene 1: Surreal montage of people running backwards, falling into a chasm, being all bloody, and finally Cora telling us: "The first and last thing my mama gave me was apologies." Cut to Caesar (Aaron Pierre, left) asking Cora to head north with him, for "good luck." She refuses. The way they keep pushing their heads at each other, they appear to be a romantic couple.

Scene 2: Whooping and dancing in the slave compound. Cora brings the older Jockey some food. Their owners appear: Terrence (Benjamin Walker, left), who runs the other half of the plantation, disapproves of the "lenient" way that James treats his slaves. So they ask a kid to recite the Declaration of Independence. They mean the Declaration of Secession, so the Civil War is on. How is anyone heading North? He can't do it right, and he accidentally touches them, so Terrence has him beaten to death. And Cora, for intervening. They are left chained to the whipping post all night.

Scene 3: In the morning, the ladies tend to Cora's wounds, and Caesar takes her home. Later, his wife Frances says "I know about men like you. You sneak off in the night and roll around in the swamp with other mens on your back." Ok, so Caesar is gay. She's fine with it, but master brought them together to reproduce, and if they don't, Master Randall will cut off his dick, so get with your husbandly duties!

Scene 4: Prideful (Lucius Baston), the black overseer, tells Cora that she's being moved. She resists (I can't imagine why -- her new owner can't be much worse).

Cut to James walking through the woods. He's nice to a little boy named Hezekiah then coughs and collapses.

Cut to Terrence in the fields, telling the slaves that his brother James has died, so now he owns the whole plantation, and will stop being "lenient": no more parties, no more outside work, and he'll be overseeing the "breeding," Perv just wants to watch couples doing it. He also wants to have sex with Cora.

Scene 5: Slave catcher Ridgeway (Joel Edgerton, left and below and his assistant, a young black kid named Homer (Chase W. Dillon), have a very muscular escaped slave, Big Anthony (Elijah Everett), in a cage. They return him to Terrence's plantation.

Ridgeway advises Terrence to place some moles in the fields to rat out talk of escape. An underground railroad has appeared to abet runaways. Terrence doesn't believe it, but Ridgeway asks him why some escaped slaves disappear forever, as if they've gone to a new world. An alternative reality with no slave trade?

Thanks @meerawrites for tagging me in this game where folks share seven lines from our creative writing and then tag seven other people! As I was filling this out I also got tagged by Meera for a game where people share last lines, which my original response just happened to be. So I’m going to kick this efficiency style—I’m crashing on finishing another story presently. Yes, I know I just published one! Things often move quickly in the world of Malicious. Ergo…

Rules: As it says on the tin! Share seven lines and tag seven people.

In fulfillment of both prompts, I’m sharing the final seven lines from my recently published “If You Give Me Tomorrow” fic featuring a sprightly enemies to lovers slow jam in the forests of central and northern Scotland.

If you’re familiar with the Outlander universe already, this is an alternate take on a canonical scenario between Jamie Fraser and Black Jack Randall from the end of Season 1 of the television series and the corresponding Outlander novel by Diana Gabaldon.

Jamie laughs aloud. Imagines Randall murmuring in that sultry tone he’ll never chase from his ears. Your words, Fraser. And then, in whispers softer than steel drawn over skin: Ah, but where are my manners—Jamie. He tries the Redcoat’s given name upon his tongue in kind. Sharp as the wicked point on that dagger. Sweet like consecration before everything goes white.

I wrote this as the second installment of a larger “Midnight Riders” universe of concepts remixing the canonical S1 finale and subsequent storylines with some inspiration from “Brokeback Mountain” and just the general concept of angsty bisexual cowboy romance.

Monster Fanboying

Another Pixar movie has come out and as per the norm, it’s been at the top of my head all weekend. I’ve written four Tumblr posts about it already (two of which have survived) so you’d think I’d be exhausted of things to say.

But today I stumbled upon a very juicy piece of Pixar trivia that I’m astonished I hadn’t run into earlier. I had always known that there was a time when Disney created an animation powerhouse called Circle 7 whose sole intention was to create sequels to Pixar movies. I had known they were deep into pre-production on many movies and I had known Monsters, Inc. 2 was one of them. I hadn’t known that the premise of this screenplay was available to the public or that it was widely considered one of the greatest unproduced ideas in Disney history.

Now this floored me. I had always regarded Monsters, Inc. as a movie that just couldn’t have a sequel. Everything seemed to come together so well in the original and the stakes were so high that I couldn’t imagine a second story living up to such a scope. But then I read the premise: Mike and Sulley go to visit Boo one day to discover someone else in her room. They realize that Boo has moved, and Mike and Sulley journey into the human world to find her.

I kind of stared at the computer for a while after reading that. What a fucking fantastic idea. Suddenly, all these great ideas came rushing into my head.

Mike and Sulley would have to hide themselves from the humans! There’d be so much tension!

Maybe the humans can discover them and begin chasing them, wishing to capture them and study them! In order to keep them away, Sulley and Mike have to return to their old ways and scare them away! But Sulley is rusty and Mike has never successfully scared anyone (as shown in the prequel!)

Boo is also a teenager now, making the relationship between her and Sulley more dynamic! That would also explain the time gap!

We can also meet Boo’s parents! Maybe she has family trouble and sees Sulley as a father figure, but the tension between the human world and the monsters world makes it impossible for them to be as close as they want to be!

Maybe there are some monsters from the Monster world trying to help Mike and Sulley from the monster world some how so both worlds can be included!

Maybe some of the characters introduced in MU can show up!

Maybe Mike and Sulley can try to find other monsters that have been banished into the human world!

Maybe Randall will make an appearance in the human world and attempt to get his revenge!

Maybe a group of dangerous humans will discover the monster world and try to take it over!

MAYBE IT CAN BE A DEEP STORY ABOUT HOW HUMANS MAY BE THE REAL MONSTERS.

You have to understand how incredible this is. In one moment, I went from regarding Monsters, Inc. as a movie that couldn’t have a sequel to really, really, REALLY wanting to see a Monsters, Inc. 2. I never thought I would say this, but I hope Pixar makes another sequel.

'BARGAINING CHIP'

When you didn't arrive for your date in the park, a picnic you had planned three days ago, he tried to brush off his first instinct which told him that something had happened to you. Being a punctual person, you arrived ten minutes before everyone else, and although he tried to shrug off his concerns, Chase knew you were never late.

The feeling only grew when you didn't respond to his calls or his text messages. And after forty minutes, Chase was called to the base as one of Sledge's prisoners was spotted in Amber Beach.

The team arrived at the warehouse and as they fought one monster, close to defeating him, Fury teleported into the room, pulling you along by your arm, your wrists tied with rope. Chase was blasted backward with Koda, their suits disappearing as they rolled along the ground, groans leaving their lips in pain when they finally stopped. Koda was the first to notice you and urgently tapped Chase before pointing to you. Chase looked up, his eyes widening when he saw the blaster aimed towards you.

"Y/N!" He jumped to his feet, aiming his blaster at the monster. "Let her go!"

You closed your eyes when Fury chuckled in amusement, the blaster pressing into your side as he addressed the group of Rangers who moved to stand behind Chase, watching the scene with batted breath.

"No problem. Hand over your Energems." Fury demanded.

The first monster that the team had been fighting laughed maniacally as he stood between the two warring sides, holding out a bucket when Fury gestured for him to collect the Energems.

Chase swallowed thickly, seeing the tears in your eyes. The fate of the world was at stake. But his racing heart told him to make the exchange.

"She has nothing to do with this!" Shelby cried out.

"The Energems, for the girl." Fury bargained.

Chase felt his team's stare as he took off his necklace, his shoulders slouched as he stared at the black Energem in his palm. He slowly approached the bucket, dropping it inside. The others following suit moments later.

Chase glared at Fury as the monster moved to stand beside him, jumping with glee. You felt a tear fall down your cheek at the defeated expression on Chase's features.

"You have the Energems, now let her go."

Fury sliced the rope with his sword and you swallowed thickly, taking a deep breath before walking toward Chase. In a split second, you pushed the bucket towards the team and the Energems rolled along the floor, to the Rangers who scrambled to pick them up while Riley pulled you to safety.

Chase grinned as he held his necklace in his hand, aiming a blaster at Fury, "Nice doing business with you." He fired at the two before they teleported away.

He turned and stumbled when your body crashed with his, a smile forming on his lips as he returned the embrace, burying his head in your neck.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" He asked, placing his hands on your arms as he checked you for injuries.

You shook your head, tears on your cheeks as he brought you to his chest, his eyes meeting Riley's over your shoulder.

"Thank you, mate."

Riley nodded, walking alongside Koda as the team followed you and Chase who kept his arm around your shoulders as you headed to the museum.

When he disappeared into the kitchen you answered Tyler and Shelby's questions about your capture until Chase reappeared with a picnic basket. You smiled softly as you walked over to him, his hand finding yours as he intertwined your fingers.

He stopped at the doorway, looking back at his team. "Thank you." He knew it wasn't an easy decision to hand over the Energems that had become a part of them and was grateful they had done so, to save your life.

"Don't mention it." Tyler smiled.

"Y/N is our friend," Koda added, sending you a smile which you returned.

Chase led you out of the museum and you smiled when he kissed your cheek.

That day you realized just how far he'd go to save you. He would sacrifice everything if it meant you were safe.

The crowd swarmed on around you, unaware of your frozen presence in the center of them, continuing around you as if your eyes weren’t locked on that familiar mop of brown curls and darker eyes, as they stared right back at you.

Clearly neither of you had expected the other to be there, you on your way to the market and him on his way to his hotel room.

Your heart was pounding so loudly in your chest that you were sure that everyone around you could hear it over the chaos of the busy city.

Last he had heard you were still in the states, living in an apartment in Chicago, working as a waitress in a local cafe while taking classes at the nearby community college.

And last you knew, your brother, Marc Spector, might as well have been dead because nobody had heard from him for months.

When you had received a panicked phone call from his wife, Layla, you immediately phoned the police, but they told you that they couldn’t do anything because he technically went missing in Egypt.

Of course the other lady had already told the police there, but they apparently had come up with absolutely nothing on the man, as if he had disappeared from the face of the earth and Marc Spector had never been alive in the first place.

You had immediately flown to Cairo to comfort your sister-in-law and grieve alongside her for about two weeks before she tearfully left you, saying that she had things that she had to take care of.

She had checked in with you every day since, knowing how close you and your brother used to be.

You had come into the picture a month after your older brother Randall had died, your mother had been eight months pregnant with you when it all happened.

As soon as you came into the world, she despised you with every bone in her body, blaming you just as much as Marc for her not being able to chase after the boys that rainy day because of how pregnant she was.

With your father being so focused on trying to take care of his wife, poor young Marc had practically been left to raise you on his own, with the help of Steven of course.

You had been so young at the time that you hadn’t known that it wasn’t completely normal for your brother to be two different people, so you loved both the boys with all your heart.

Unknown to you, Marc had done everything in his power at the time to shield both you and Steven from the horrors that really went on in your household.

When you were finally old enough to understand what was going on with Marc and Steven, the alter for some reason stopped fronting. And whenever you tried to talk to your brother about it, he just brushed you off, leaving you to assume that one of the people that raised you was truly gone, and there was nothing you could do about it.

Around that same time, you were exposed to what was really going on with your mother, only having had small snippets of it in the past, while Marc was at school and you were home on a half day, suffering from your mother screaming at you that it was your fault your older brother had died. One that you hadn’t even known existed until that moment.

And then the second Marc was old enough, he left and didn’t look back. Not to your father. Mother. Home. Or even you, his little sister, whom he had protected and raised for most of his life.

He hadn’t been thinking that day, all he knew was that he was finally old enough to get out of there when he was drafted into the Marines, and by the time he had realized where he left you, it was too late.

You were left alone in that hellhold for a few more years before you too were finally allowed to leave, and you took the first chance you could and got the hell out of there

Sadly, you hadn’t had enough money saved so you couldn’t move out of the city or go to a great college despite your intelligence, but you made due.

During this time Marc had been dishonorably discharged, and the first thing he had done was go looking for you.

And once he found you all he wanted to do was go to you. Hug you. Apologize. Over and over again. Assure you he would never leave again.

But then he realized that you were probably way better without him in your life. Him and his problems.

So he stayed away.

Watching from afar and keeping tabs on you to make sure that you were always okay and never in any immediate danger.

As soon as Marc stepped out of that house, you had absolutely no idea what had happened to him.

And then Layla had reached out to you- after hearing so many stories about you from her husband- to share the news of his disappearance, making your world come crashing down once again.

Not only had he been alive, he had been married and able to contact you, but he had chosen not to. He clearly had not wanted anything to do with you.

Maybe he too blamed you for Randall’s death.

And then you found out that he once again was gone? You had no idea what to do or how to react.

Once Layla left you, you had planned on staying in Egypt only a day later, but then you had rekindled an old interest of yours. Egyptian mythology.

Steven used to tell you stories about it all the time instead of reading your normal bedtime stories and he would just ramble on and on about it for hours, surprised that you never stopped him and actually ended up showed interest in it.

You had decided to stay a while longer to study more about it instead of going back, taking time off to stay.

Learning about it made you feel closer to Steven, and even Marc, the people you thought you knew before Marc had left and Steven had disappeared.

After being there for three months already, you had woken up to begin your normal routine of going to the market in the morning for some breakfast, which was when you saw him.

Slowly, Marc’s feet seemed to work without him meaning for them to and he practically floated over to you, mouth dropped slightly and eyes wide.

You were frozen in place, unable to move towards or away from the man, and your brain wasn’t able to comprehend him being there, so you didn’t know if you wanted to move closer to or away from him.

“Y/n.” He breathed out, eyes scanning every inch of your face, “What the hell are you doing here?”

Finally, you appeared to be snapped out of your daze, and you took a stumbling step back, visibly flinching away.

Marc, who hadn’t even realized he put his arms out to catch you if you fell, dropped them to his sides with a frown.

Is that… is that really her?

The man didn’t even have to glance at the mirror on the wall next to him to know that Steven was staring at you with wide and watered eyes.

Ignoring him, Marc pressed on, “Y/n?” He repeated the same question, trying to understand if you were really there, or if he was just getting crazier faster.

You squeezed your eyes shut, shaking your head and turning on your heels, running your hands through your hair, “This is not happening, this is not happening.” You kept repeating to yourself, trying to get rid of what you thought to be a hallucination.

“مرحبا، هل أنت بخير؟”

(Hey, are you okay?)

Ahmed was a local that you had become friends with when you moved into the city, he had known how hard it could be moving to a foreign country, and he did everything he could to make you feel welcomed, and in doing so he quickly became your first friend in Cairo.

He been walking to work when he had seen you stumbling away from a strange man with a look of terror on your face, and he immediately rushed over to see what was happening.

You whipped around to face him, pointing a shaky finger at Marc, “هل هذا الرجل هناك؟”

(Is that man there?)

Ahmed looked back and forth between the two of you in confusion before giving a hesitant nod, unaware of what was going on.

Marc on the other hand, was in shock. When had you learned how to speak Arabic?

You turned back to your friend, giving him the best brave face you could muster before assuring him that you would be okay and that he could go to work. And after much persuasion, he did.

You turned back to face Marc, lifting your eyes to face your older brother, “What are you doing here, Marc?” You hadn’t meant for your tone to waver, but it did and Marc immediately began feeling guilty.

Marc… what did you do to her?

“Shut up.” The man snapped, trying to focus on his sister at the moment.

“Excuse me?” It had come out louder than you expected it to, and people started staring.

Marc’s eyes widened and he quickly looked back to you in panic, “No, no! I wasn’t talking to you!”

You scoffed, crossing your arms over yourself and cocking an eyebrow at him, “Sure, Marc.” The name came out of your mouth as if it were venom and Marc felt his blood run cold, and he knew Stevens did as well.

“L-listen,” Marc had never felt like this before, so… desperate. And he didn’t like the feeling, not at all, but he needed to talk to you, “I know I’ve got a lot of explaining to do-“

“A lot of-“ You screamed, interrupting him, but you cut yourself off as more people turned to stare at the two of you.

With a huff you turned on your heel and began stomping to somewhere more private, not bothering to see if your brother was following you.

When you got into an empty alley you turned to him with a hard glare, and he could’ve sworn that his heart had stopped. The glare was so deadly, and so unlike the sister he had known all those years ago.

“I thought you were dead, Marc.” You whispered, looking down at the ground quickly, “I came to terms with that fact when I was eleven.”

Marc’s breath hitched, “You… you thought I was dead this whole time?”

He doesn’t know what he had expected, he had been gone for so long with no explanation, after all.

You nodded and let out a humorless laugh and tilted your head up to the sky to keep the tears out of your eyes, “Imagine my surprise when your wife called, claiming you to now be missing.”

He hadn’t thought his heart could be dropped farther then it already had, until you had said that, “Layla?” He was surprised, she hadn’t mentioned meeting you to him or Steven.

You let out another laugh that sent chills down his spine, “You know, all this time you could’ve reached out, sent me a postcard, something instead of me having to lose my brother for the second time.”

Marc…

“I never meant to hurt you.” The man whispered brokenly.

Your eyes snapped up to him and the tears were immediately replaced by fires of rage, “Well you did.”

Marc, give me the body.

“N/n…”

I can fix this.

“Just go, Marc.” Your voice was final.

“Fine,” he whispered, “I’m gone.”

You stood there, waiting for him to walk away, but he didn’t. Instead, he stood there and for a split second , letting his eyes flutter shut, and when they opened your brother no longer stood in front of you.

Replacing his tall posture and defensive figure, he suddenly became slightly slouched and awkward, making your eyes go wide with realization.

“Hello, love.” Stevens' British voice called out to you hesitantly, shifting his weight from one foot to another.

“Steven.” You breathed out in disbelief, “You-you’re…” you trailed off, unsure of what to say.

He smiled nervously, “I’m here, in the flesh.”

“Oh my god.” You let out a sob, rushing over and wrapping your arms around the man, “You- I thought you were gone as well, for years before Marc left, I mean, but-“

You quickly pushed yourself away, causing him to stumble a bit because his arms had been wrapped around you as well, “You didn’t reach out to me either.”

Steven glanced quickly at Marc in the mirror, unsure of what to do.

The man in the mirror sighed, putting his head in his hands.

Tell her.

Steven didn’t need to be told twice, “N-no, it’s not like that! I-he… I don’t know how he did it but I thought that you and I were texting everyday, but it must’ve been someone else.”

“So… you thought you were still in contact with me after all these years?” You slowly put together the pieces.

He quickly nodded in return, relieved that you appeared to believe him.

“And, about Marc…” Steven started, ignoring how said man’s head snapped up in concern, “He really thought he was doing what was best for you… as bonkers and messed up as it may be.”

“Oh.” You breathed out, looking down again for a moment, thinking, before moving your eyes up to find his, “May I talk to him?”

Within two seconds, Marc was standing before you.

You got this, mate.

“Is what he says… true?” You asked.

Marc nodded, “I really did think that keeping you away from me would end up protecting you. Not a day passed where I didn’t want to reach out so damn badly, but I forced myself to make the most difficult decision of my life and I stayed away.”

That’s all it took for you to hurdle yourself at your big brother and wrap your arms around his neck just like you had done moments before with Steven.

He didn’t waste a second wrapping you in a strong, warm, and protective hug that made you feel safer then you had in years, holding you close and burying his face in your hair. Allowing himself a moment more of vulnerability.

Finally, you gently pulled away, “We have a lot to catch up on.”

That we do.

“Oh, you have no idea.” Marc replied, smiling down at you slightly.

Brother Red

You and Chase have been dating in secret because of your twin brother Tyler. Of course Chase is your brothers best friend but if he found out he would be pissed. When you get the lead in a movie called 'Zombies' everyone was happy and on the first day you and co-starts had to sing the song 'Jailhouse Rock' (Alternate Universe. Their Disney Zombies is different) and a few other songs as well. The whole time you were singing Chase was giving you heart eyes and it didn't take long for Tyler to notice. The thought of his twin sister having a boyfriend pissed him of.

Sometime after you finished filming the movie the secret of your relationship started to get out. First you only told Shelby and Chase only told Riley. But then they figured out that the other person knew as well.

"Hey Riley can you go into Chases bedroom and get that book back the he, uh borrowed from me?" Shelby asked him.

"Uhh, now? You want me to go over there now?" Riley asked back. She nodded

"Do you know something?" Riley asked curiously.

"Do you know something?" Shelby asked back.

"I might know something."

"I might know something too."

"What's the thing that you know?"

"Oh I can't tell you what I know until you tell me what you know."

"I can't tell you what l know."

"Well then I can't tell you what I know."

"Okay fine, you don't know."

"Alright, how about I go over there and I walk into chases bedroom and see the thing that I know is actually the thing that I think that I know!"

"AHH, YOU KNOW!"

"AND YOU KNOW!"

"YEAH I KNOW!"

"Chase and Y/N? Oh this is unbelievable. How long have you known?"

"To long. Shelby I've been dying to talk to someone about this for so long. But listen, you can't say anything to anybody, they're so weird about that."

All Shelby did was nod and then Ivan came into the room.

"Ivan!" Riley said greeting his ancient friend.

"Hey. It's raining out there and I don't like to train in the rain." Ivan spoke formally to them.

"I am gonna go for a walk in the rain." Riley said and looked at Shelby.

"Oh yeah, me too." Shelby said and followed him outside. A few days after Riley and Shelbys little episode, Koda, Ivan and Kendall found out.

"OMG, Chase and Y/N." Kendall screamed.

"Chase and Y/N." Ivan repeated.

"Oh." Koda says while covering his eyes and didn't want to see what his two best friends were doing.

"Guys." Riley said trying to get them to stop.

"No, no they're doing it." Kendall said to them like they're stupid.

"Guys, we know. We know." Shelby says to her friends.

"You knew?" Ivan asked/screamed.

"Yes I know it, Riley knows it, but Tyler doesn't know so you guys have to stop screaming." Shelby yelled. The worst part was that you almost got caught a few times.

Chase climbed up a tree and softly nocked on your bedroom window. You opened it only to see Chase. "What are you doing here?" "To see you. Is that such a problem?" "Yes! What if Tyler came in right now?" "We'll be fine." The two of you heard a nock on the door. "Hide." He quickly kissed your check and hid. You went up to the door and opened it. "Hey, brother. What's up?" "I thought I heard you talking to someone." "Nope, must have been my computer that I just closed." "Well, dad and mum are making hot chocolate. Do you want any?" "No, Tyler I do not want hot chocolate. Honestly we're 18 years old." "Sorry, I just thought someone said they wanted to live in a chocolate house." "Well that's impractical." You closed the door and opened it again "And fating." You closed the door and Chase looked at you "What?" "Chocolate house." You just rolled your eyes in that moment.

2. You came home while wearing chases jacket. You went inside the house and Tyler turned on the lights. "Crap." "Mhmmm. What are you doing up, and why are you wearing chases jacket?" "Ummm, about that. I went on a date but the guy stood me up. Chase found me, saw that I was cold, let me use his jacket and he brought me home."

3. When Tyler went out on a date with Shelby you invited chase to watch a movie. You both fell asleep but woke up when you heard a car door. "Go out the back way." He gave you a goodbye kiss. "Go." You fell back to sleep, relived that you didn't caught.

Lets just say a few weeks after almost getting caught, the 4th time you got caught. Tyler was pissed and chased your boyfriend/ he's friend around the room.

"Tyler stop." Shelby yelled.

"Chase get back here." Tyler yells ignoring his girlfriend. Everyone was running, trying to stop Tyler from murdering Chase. The base was in utter chaos.

This went on for about 5-10 hours. Kendall had enough of this and yelled,

"EVERYBODY SHUT UP, STOP MOVING AND LISTIN!"

You all did as she said.

"Look Tyler, just because your best friend is dating your sister, you're gonna kill him?" Kendall asked confused as anything.

"Yes!" The Red Ranger replied. Kendall rolled her eyes while thinking of a way to stop this madness.

"My best friend and my sister, I can't believe this." Tyler muttered.

"Look mate, we're not just messing around, I love her. Okay? I'm in love with her." Chase said seriously.

"It's true T, I love him too." You said to your brother.

He then looked at the two of you and said,

"Awww, my best friend and my sister."

"So you're not mad?" You asked him.

"Of course I'm still mad, you're not of the hook Chase, and nither are you sis. But I.... approve. Chase if you ever hurt her, you're dead for real." He replied seriously.

"Wouldn't dream of it." Chase said while looking at you and you blushed.

"Big news."

"Aww, that's okay, we already Knew." Ivan said and everyone looked at him with the 'What the heck' look.

"What?! You Knew and you didn't tell me?" Tyler asked.

"Well, we new how upset you can be and we were worried about you." Shelby said to her protective boyfriend.

"You were worried about me?" He asked in shock. Even though Tyler approved it still didn't stop him to start chasing his best friend around when Chase looked at you or kissed you, and it always went into chaos, but seeing you happy my your twin happy.

Hi I hope your doing ok. I'm praying for you and the rest of the Ukraine. I'm a huge fan of your writing and I wanted to run an idea by you and ask your opinion on it. I'm writing a fanfiction story about Hannibal in which it turns out Bedelia had Hannibal's child, a daughter, in secret many years ago after a discrete affair and gave her away to a catholic orphanage in New Orleans. Years later she becomes a trainee at the FBI and ends up working for Jack Crawford to help him bring Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham to justice. How do you think Hannibal would react if he found out he had a daughter? would he try to turn her into a killer like himself and try to form a murder family with her and Will like he tried too with Abigail or would he kill her? Could he? and also how would Will react? Would he be pleased with getting a second chance at getting to be a father figure and try to have with her what he wanted with Abigail or would he be angry and jealous and try to kill her? Or would they both be amused at finally getting a worthy adversary in their ongoing cat and mouse game with the FBI? I'd love to know your thoughts and any constructive criticism would be very welcome. I'm a little new to tumblr and haven't posted anything as of yet but will definitely soon when I can find more time for writing. This is a very interesting fic idea! Love that you chose New Orleans as a home for Hannibal's child, considering Will's ties to this place.

Whether Hannibal would try to influence his daughter depends on her personality. We never see him try to seduce normal people like Alana or Jack or Franklyn to darkness. Because that's not what he does: he always respects his projects' preferences. That's why he sends a vulnerable patient to Bedelia, who likes to crush the weak; why he urges Margot to kill Mason but no one else; why he encourages the beast in Randall. That's why he gives Will people like Hobbs, Gideon, Randall, Mason, Tobias, Francis, himself. He never deviates from this. He knows what each of these people is capable of and he doesn't cross their limits, just pushes them to embrace their highest potential.

So, if his daughter had inner darkness, then yes, I think Hannibal would be interested in bringing it out. But if she was genuinely good, then I think he'd want to preserve it. He'd probably think it's incredibly ironic that he and Bedelia gave birth to someone normal. I doubt he'd want her to live with him and Will as a part of their family - honestly, I doubt Hannibal would have bothered with Abigail if it wasn't for Will, despite him having a form of true attachment to her. But he'd likely want to stay in touch. His daughter would be not just a part of him, but also a part of Mischa, and Hannibal would treasure it. He'd be capable of killing her, but only if there was no other choice. I do think he'd pick Will over her any time.

Will, I think, would be wary at first. I don't think he'd be jealous, but maybe he'd feel insecure occasionally. He'd probably focus his resentment on Bedelia, though. His attitude would depend on the personality of Hannibal's child and the dynamic they'd develop. If she chased them, then Will would probably be upset and worried: he wouldn't want to be caught and he wouldn't want to harm her - or to let Hannibal harm her. If she showed a little more moral greyness and interest in getting to know them, then I imagine they'd be able to develop an interesting mixed relationship: a little friendly, a little fatherly, a little adversarial.

Naturally, this is just how I see it. Hope this helped! Wishing you inspiration!

Kevin and Madison's love story (and why they will be endgame)

Here I am, trying to explain to people that don't want to understand Kevison's storyline.

The way Kevin and Madison found each other is the epitome of what the show is telling us since the pilot. How a stranger can become such a big part of your story, how life doesn't always take the route you imagined, but sometimes it can surprise you and give you something better than what you wanted. The writers told us more than once that Madison is Kevin's stranger and this is in fact their journey: they are going from strangers to lovers.

Another thing is that Kevin has an idealised view of what love is supposed to be. For his entire life he tried to replicate his parents' love story, he kept forcing love to the point that he thought he found "the one" in that woman he met at the bar and he even didn't know, he chased the perfect fairy tale love story thinking that love at first sight was the only valid type of love. This obsession made him being so blind that he never realised that the right person, Madison, has always been right in front of him. As soon as he saw her at Kate's wedding he was obviously physically attracted by her, but then he ended up judging her in the wrong way even before he had the chance to really know her. And Kate did the same mistake before she became Madison's best friend. And that's something that happens very often in real life too: we judge people by appearances.

Also, there's a reason why we keep seeing adult Sophie. The writers compared the relationship that Kevin has with Sophie, with the relationship he has with alcohol. Because that's what it is: Kevin tends to drown himself in alcohol when things get complicated and he does the same with Sophie. She represents a fantasy where Kevin can run to and drown himself into when things get too deep or too complicated because that's a relationship where he feels like he doesn't need to put in so much work and where he can pretend to be someone he is not.

Madison instead balances him out, as he said by himself, she makes him want to be a better person and to work for their relationship, preferring facts over big speeches full of empty words. Kevin wants Madison, but he also knows that he has an addict personality so he had to delate Sophie's number to get rid of any temptation.

In s4 ep. 12 Jack clearly said to Kevin that even if in that moment he was said cause he lost something he loved, it will come a day when he'll find something else to love, because that's how life works! Kevin loved Sophie but not to the point to consider her enough for him. And in fact young Kevin tells Randall that he is lucky to have Beth, cause she is his everything and clearly he didn't feel the same about Sophie.

The writers decided to give him an unconventional love story as a fulfillment of his character development. To make him realise that there's no such thing like a perfect fairy tale love story because life itself isn't perfect, and it doesn't matter if he fell in love with Madison only after she got pregnant, it doesn't matter if the start of their love story isn't fairy tale like, the only thing that matters is the journey.

Both Madison and Kevin know that they won't never know if they would have get together without this unexpected pregnancy, but it doesn't matter because again... *spoiler alert* that's life.

It happened and the "what ifs" at this point are pretty useless. Nobody is forcing them to be together and in fact Madison broke up with him. But love can grow and just because they found each other in an unconventional way, it doesn't mean they can't have an epic love story. Sometimes you can find love in an unexpected way and in an unexpected person. It's not a case that Kevin found Madison at Kate's home when he wasn't searching for love and they ended up conceiving two miracle babies. They will write their love story in the stars TOGETHER.

Guidelines:

When requesting please give me the character/celebrity, the show or movie they are from, a description of what you want, whether it will be fluff, angst, smut etc and if you want to be tagged.

Please specify if you would like it to be a female, gender neutral or male reader. However because i am a girl and know nothing about gay sex i wont write malexmale smut. I have no experience in it so i doubt id be good at writing it. i’m sorry. I will do threesomes (or more) where at least one woman is present :)

I wont write an imagine about a gay character being straight.

I am willing to write imagines about dark topics. Such as depression, suicide, eating disorders, etc. I will not however write in detail about rape but i am okay with it being mentioned/ hinted. I also dont like writing imagines where the character/celebrity is a kidnapper or murderer sorry. I also wont do incest relationships.

I dont do ships. I do reader imagines or if youd like to add a name to your request then ill more than happily do it like that.

I will do imagines on plus sizes readers. I will do imagines for family imagines as well and platonic ones too.

When you request something dont expect it to be up straightaway but i will try my hardest to be as quick as possible. I promise i havent forgotten i just havent gotten round to it :)
