Wide-Angle, Panoramic Setting for Chetro Ketl (Chaco Culture National Historical Park) by Mark Stevens
Via Flickr:
A setting looking to the east while taking in views and walking around the ruins present in the Chetro Ketl area of Chaco Culture National Historical Park. I later worked with control points in DxO PhotoLab 7 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness, as well as cropping portions of the foreground and skies above for a wide-angle feel to this setting in northern New Mexico.

Mym saw that there was a hole in the overhang; perhaps this was the remains of an ancient cave.

Third Beach
This image was made in 2020; it's a composite of 60 images, hooked up and pushed around a bit. This is Third Beach at low tide, an offshoot of the Tonquin Park Trail in Tofino, BC.
(NB: for reference, note the intrepid photographer in the green coat, below and right of center in the frame).

Seeing the Sights of Chaco Culture National Historical Park by Mark Stevens
Via Flickr:
While walking and exploring the Chetro Ketl area with a view looking to the north across walls and ruins present in this part of Chaco Culture National Historical Park. My thought on composing this image was to use the backdrop of blue skies and clouds as a color contrast to complement the earth-tones present in the foreground and lower portion of the image. The rest was aligning myself so that I could bring out the most interesting shapes and patterns present with the ruins to my front.
