anyways i need to go to bed but i’m once again thinking about a concept i absolutely have to use when i eventually manage a todobakudeku fic

because i am who i am, i of course favor the idea that aizawa and yamada and shirakumo were bfs, and aizawa and yamada were completely crushed (oops) by his death. they supported each other and were able to continue a life together, but they’ve always kind of missed that third. (and because i am who i am, i firmly believe all might comes along later and slots into that empty hole, but that’s not what this is about.)

and of course, aizawa being who he is, sees a few parallels. he sees himself in todoroki, their quiet natures and skillful observations combined with a fierce determination to succeed. (also the autism but again that’s not what this is about.)

he sees yamada in bakugou, in their loud mouths and deaf and going-deaf ears. yamada isn’t as violent, but he has his moments. and they both have a tenacity aizawa admires, and a conviction to save lives any way they can.

the one that frightens him most of all is how midoriya reminds him of shirakumo. self-sacrificial to a fault, embodiment of heroism, playful and friendly and always smiling. the rescuer, the martyr. the last thing he wants is to see midoriya destroy himself or die young just like shirakumo. he knows how plausible it is, he’s seen the danger midoriya runs into all in the name of saving a stranger. it’s admirable, it’s heroic, it’s amazing, and aizawa is terrified.

he knows how bad things were for him and yamada when they lost shirakumo. the reason he’s so protective of midoriya is because he doesn’t want todoroki or bakugou to ever go through the pain of losing him.

anyways. i need to go to bed. but i’m just thinking.

shouta and oboro were courting each other when one day a storm hit, the currents sweeping oboro away. shouta goes out to look for oboro, never finding him. its years later when shouta returns, and mic knows he cant talk to him about any of it, so he tries to ignore his own worry and now anger at being abandoned/left in the dark for so long.

eventually, shouta begins to court mic. mic is torn about it but accepts it, and they become mates. that is, until a fight with an orca pack goes wrong, leaving shouta heavily maimed and drifting away from home. by the time the orcas are scared off, shouta is gone.

shouta wakes up on land, missing a huge chunk of his tail and an eye. he attempts to swim, but to no avail- his injuries leave him spiraling in the water. enter some land dwellers, one of which is shouta's presumed dead almost-mate, who appears to have amnesia. meanwhile, mic is still trying to find shouta, unsure if he's even alive. what will happen when mic finds him on shore with his first love...

(it ends with clouderasermic but damn man they need to talk about shit)

#mic has a lot of unresolved beef with aizawa that he ignored in favor of aizawas own comfort that rears its head in the form of insecuritie #so when aizawa finds oboro and lives on land with him mic takes it as a rejection/abandonment 2. he knows logically that shouta couldnt #return to him with his injuries but hes still extremely hurt by it. especially bc of shouta leaving for years before #this is one of those fics where things would be better if they just sat down and had an honest conversation #sunstorm #asks #anon #anonymous

Shouta does have two hands! I do like clouderasermic but the truth is I am pretty biased. I am more cloudmic and erasermic fan. I like to spoil Hizashi and generally erasercloud’s chemistry doesn’t inspire me as much but I still eat up clouderasermic content 😌

They would have been so happy, ah... 😭
