Last week was our first session of the Illium game. Basically Jax got dragged into an important meeting and forced to help the others (a fantasy CIA agent, a elf socialite, and the adoptive brother and bodyguard of the prince) go to Illium and find a way to bring back the lost prince's soul. She also found out her prison army was being used to harvest souls for energy. Cael took Jax to her house to gather their things and Cael asked Jax to show her Jax's comat skills. Jax obliged and slid into a combat stance before beating a third of Cael's hp out of her in a single turn. Cael gave Jax back her gauntlets and her old clothes and let her fix her gear which made Jax like her a bit more. Everyone met up and they headed out on horseback

Gameplay plan
Preparation:
The player controlling the zombies picks out five random ingredients and puts them to a side, they do not share with the survivor player where the ingredients are. The two players decide the order of their characters and then intergrade them into a turn order (Survivor, zombie, survivor, zombie, etc). Players will decide before hand which side goes first.
Rounds and turns:
At the beginning of every new round, an event card is drawn and is sorted out. Then roles with an effect that takes place at the beginning of a round is then sorted. During a turn, players can move a certain amount of spaces. There are spaces on the board which will give the survivor player salvage cards, which the zombie player can not be shown. Once all the characters have had their turn, then a round has been completed. A new event card is drawn and sorted and the cycle begins again.
Abilities and effects:
Every character (except common zombies) have an ability and an effect. Effects are always active, some of them are used at the beginning of a round or need a certain action to activate it. An ability can be activated after one round, if an ability is used then they will have to wait a whole round for it to be used again. These are to be used sparingly and statically.
Combat:
Comat is simple and luck based. If you land next to an enemy, you get to roll a die first and then the other player will roll. Highest number wins and the number is subtracted from the loser’s health and has to take a step back. With common zombies, there is no die rolled. If a survivor lands next to it, it dies immediately. If a common zombie lands next to a survivor, they deal one damage and survivor steps back.
Death:
There will be a lot of death during the entire game. If any common zombies are killed during a round, they respawn in new locations in the next round. Mutant zombies and survivors aren’t so lucky. If a survivor dies, they become a zombie. The survivor player will have to hand over the role card to the zombie player. If they die again, then they can not be used for the rest of he game. Mutant zombies are the same. If a survivor had an ingredient before turning into a zombie, they will still have that ingredient and will have to be killed to get it back.
Salvage:
Salvage can be anything from a med kit to a flamethrower. These can only be used once and after use, are put back in the salvage deck and shuffled. Only survivors can use these and can even trade them with the other survivors (e.g. med kit for hand gun). To acquire these, land on the salvage space on the board to gain it. These can not be shown to the other player.

I kind of wish other Crests has consequences like Dimitri's. Like you double your attack, but your weapon breaks twice as fast. I would have liked to see, like, Sylvain's send him back a space after doing a comat art. Mercedes' will preserve her magic, but slow her down. Ferdinand's (and Seteth's) will paralyze enemies, but also adjacent allies.
I dunno I just want more overall consequences in this game ;-; if Crests are oh-so bad I beg you to show me negative consequences. And this applies to just about every other aspect of the game, but I digress.

Why is Pokémon Legends Arceus a core series game but Colosseum/XD weren’t?
If you look at it, those titles are extremely similar. Both PLA and Colosseum/XD feature the same basic game mechanics as the core series games do, but with a few important changes.
For the Orre-Games, those changes were the fact that you could only do double battles (outside of a few specific places), that there are next to no wild Pokémon and you catch other trainer’s Pokémon with Snag Balls instead, and the whole Shadow Pokémon thing with a bunch of new moves and mechanics.
Tumblr media
For PLA, it’s the fact that you can catch Pokémon outside of battle and they can attack the player, the way that you start a battle with a wild Pokémon, and how several wild Pokémon can team up on you, but that last one has also appeared in some core series games in a different way.
Also, in all three games you are able to catch Pokémon while having more than one opponent, which is not possible in core series games.
Tumblr media
The way you travel around also differs from the core series in a very similar way. While all core series games feature an open world where you can basically go anywhere you want (except for Sun/Moon being partitioned into islands), in PLA and the Orre-Games, you have fixed locations and travel through them via an overworld map.
Tumblr media
While all core series games feature gyms (or trials in the Alola games) where you have to collect badges in order to fight in the Pokémon league, PLA and the Orre games have nothing like that and have their own way to progress through the plot.
Tumblr media
One thing all three games have in common with the core series is their compatibility. In Colosseum and XD you could freely trade with all Gen 3 games. In fact, I still have one Pokémon in my team that I traded from Pokémon XD through every generation up to Pokémon Shield. For PLA, comatibility with Pokémon HOME has been anounced, and in fact the storage games like Pokémon Box, Ranch, Bank or Home have been the only other games apart from GO that have been fully compatible with the respective core series games from their generation. The only exception to this was Colosseum and XD back in gen three.
Another thing that set Colosseum and XD apart from the core series back than was that they were released on a home console with 3D graphics instead of a handheld. But this distinction doesn’t matter anymore now that the Nintendo Switch is both.
So why are Colosseum and XD considered spin-offs while Legends Arceus is considered a core series game? Is there anything I am missing?

Part 2 "I am" Bucky x OFC (#043)
Description: #043 is Dr. Leeb's greatest success. He took immense pride in raising her to be the perfect combatent and it was finally time for her skills to be put to use. His only worry is bringing outside variables into his perfect equation but when the heads of Hydra give you orders, you follow them. #043 is sent on her first mission and things do not go as planned.
Tags: Angst, Fluff, Slow burn, very much a slow burn. Bucky Barnes x OFC, Winter Soldier X OFC.
Warnings: Canon typical violence
Here is the second part of #043's story! I'm sorry there is no Bucky yet but I can promise that he will be coming in soon! (I did say that this would be a slow burn). Enjoy! <3
Part 1
Tumblr media
Dr. Leeb sniffed again, those damn cleaning products always set him off, he had tried his damn hardest to get used to the smell of the sterile facilities but even after thirteen years his nose would not stop running, it was so embarrassing. Especially at a time like this, when he was in conference with the very head of Hydra. They had contacted his lab about using #043 in the field, he had agreed without hesitation- he knew his project was ready and he could hardly contain his excitement as the General laid out the mission briefing. It was finally time to show the whole of Hydra just what he could achieve, they would finally respect his mind.
"Dr. Leeb we have read your reports, #043, code name Eris, sounds very promising. Can you back up your claims?" The man known as The General spoke, his voice although tinny through the speakers of his office carried a deep undertone of threat. If Dr. Leeb was not sweating before he was now, he had rehearsed for this moment all he had to do was speak. He cleared his throat, sniffed and dapped at his forehead with his handkerchief.
"Well, General." He cursed his voice for coming out higher than normal. "As you know former experiments for the Eris project came up negative but #043 is different, whether this is due to her age or her biology I do not know, there is a possibilty-"
"Dr. Leeb, cut to the chase, what can she do?"
"Ah, right" He loosened his tie a bit, were the fans even working in here? "Yes, #043 is the perfect blend between technology and humanity. She arrived to us in a... less than ideal state this has meant that her left leg had to be amputated above the knee and her right leg was amputated below the knee, her legs were replaced with advanced prosthetics, based upon the Winter Soldier project. These were replaced to grow with her, it was a marvel really how we managed to make them grow perfectly wi-"
"Doctor!"
"Ah, sorry, yes, well. These legs allow her to run faster than the average human being, she has reached over speeds of 60mph - this of course is helped with the super soldier serum that she has adapted to perfectly. The serum, of course, has made her taller, stronger and altogether better. She is only 16 and has already grown to be 6 feet tall, it is likely that she can grow more, she can lift her body weight easily. She has also received the benefits of advanced healing, there has yet to be an injury that has not healed within the day. #043 is trained in Muay Thai, Judo, Comat Sambo to name a few, she has mastered firearms and the use of close combat weaponry- being most proficient in the use of brass knuckles. Her senses are enhanced by the serum have given her a great skill in prediction. She is brutal, cold and most importantly, loyal to Hydra."
Dr. Leeb nervously pushed up his glasses, it was impossible to read what The General was feeling. The man's face was eternally stuck in a position of serious anger- it was rather intimidating.
"This sounds promising Dr. Leeb. I read that she was trained intellectually as well?"
"Yes, yes #043 can speak Russian, English, German, Chinese, Japanese, French, Romanian and Spanish fluently and has been taught how to use the most advanced technologies. Her physical training has always taken priority, however, but I can assure you General that if you have a wall to break through she can do it."
There was a beat of silence as the General seemed to mull something over, there was a rustle of paper on the other side of the monitor. Dr. Leeb took in some deep breaths as he waited for the General to say something, dabbing at his forehead once more to try and get rid of the sweat dripping down his brow.
"Is it true, Dr. Leeb, that you believe she could take out the Winter Soldier?"
"Yes." Dr. Leeb answered without hesitation. "We are waiting for confirmation from the scientist on the Winter Soldier project but we are scheduling for them to meet. Remember she is has yet to reach full maturation, there is no doubt that she could best the Soldier when she is fully formed, we just wish to... encourage her to see him as a threat and enemy."
"Your faith is evident, Leeb, very well, here is the details of the mission- if she fails it will be on your head Doctor."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
#043 was training, as usual, she was in the middle of combat training facing of against a large group of hydra soldiers. While she knew she could defeat them one on one, having six of them attack at the same time was proving much more difficult. It was practically impossible to dodge and block every hit coming her way, much less think about landing a punch. She currently unarmed so at least two hits on vital areas would be necessary to knock one soldier unconscious. As she was dodging she began to form a plan, she would have to spread the soldiers out, she could tackle one down and run through them but they would see that coming a mile away, she could try throwing one away but that would take far too much time. There was only one option left, to jump.
#043 stopped dodging and planted her feet, she doubled her efforts to block incoming blows and began to tense her knees. The mechanical legs clanked and whirred as the cogs inside them tightened- the only warning any of the soldiers got was the hissing of hydraulics as #043 released the tension within her legs and shot straight over the heads of the group of soldiers. She twisted in the air and landed heavily in the ground with a loud cracking sound as the concrete broke below her. She was now facing the bewildered looking group of soldiers, she smirked, as they began to run to her. Just as they reached her she jumped once more, landing right at the back by the slowest member. They were down in two swift blows to their kidney's and temple. This unfair game of cat and mouse continued until it was only two soldiers remaining.
The following fight was easy to her. One of the soldiers was taken out by a high kick to the head from her left leg and a solid stomp to the sternum cracking numerous ribs and collapsing his chest. The other was simply ended by a push kick to the chest to put them off balance and #043 swiftly grabbed one of their legs and threw them into the far wall where they impacted with a harsh thud, leaving a rather large dent in the plaster. #043 drew in a deep breath and relaxed, letting her hands fall to her sides just as the voice of Dr. Leeb entered the sandpit.
"Well done, #043! You continue to improve day by day." She felt her eye twitch as he sniffed once more. "I have some good news for you, you are to go outside."
"Outside?" Her voice was gravelly from lack of use.
"Yes, you are about to go on your first mission, it is a rather simple one mind you- I think the General is just trying to test me with this- I have no doubt that you will succeed with flying colours, you are my perfect equation."
"What will I have to do?"
"You are to infiltrate the home of a Mr. Hugo Malet, a prominent figure in the arms trade. Hydra has a target on his head and you, my dear, have the honour of being the gun who aims for it." Dr. Leeb began walking away, gesturing for #043 to follow. She eyed her trainer waiting for permission. The stern woman just gave a nod and #043 was off walking just behind Dr. Leeb, peering over his shoulder to the files he held in his hand. He continued to brief her all the way to his office.
"Mr. Malet here has a holiday chalet in the French Alps, a rather modest six bedroom, five bathroom ordeal, wholly unnecessary for his family of four but if you have the money. Such a shame he got that money by selling weapons to the wrong people. Here." Dr. Leeb sat in his desk chair before sliding the file over to #043. "Look at him, memorise his face, his family is meant to join him in the chalet in a week but if there are any others witness you must eliminate them as well- do you understand?"
"Yes sir."
"Good. Repeat it to me."
"Hugo Malet, Chalet, French alps, no witnesses, no traces left behind."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the helicopter over to the Alps #043 did not know who was more nervous, her or Dr. Leeb who had insisted on monitoring the mission in person. The plan was simple, she would parachute down to the drop zone two miles away from the chalet and run to the chalet where, under the cover of night, #043 would erase the traitors.
"T-10 mins until deployment."
The announcement over the intercom spurred her into action, she began triple checking her harness and parachute, placed the night vision goggles over her eyes and ensured that the mask covering the lower half of her face was secure. Once she was sure she was ready she took her position. The side door opened to reveal the pitch black, snowy exterior of the alps, the temperature was immediately freezing . Dr. Leeb piped up behind her.
"Do not disappoint me #043, once this goes successfully the Eris project will be a reality. You know what will happen if you fail."
#043 shivered at the threat, memories enclosed walls, electric chairs and sore flesh flickering in her mind and with a single nod she jumped.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The run to the chalet had been uneventful and soon the chalet was in view. There was a warm glow coming from within and through the window #043 could see the figure of her target walking around the lower floors.
"Status report" The voice of Dr. Leeb crackled through her earpiece.
"Target sighted, moving to engage."
Armed only with a silenced pistol and her brass knuckles she moved stealthily through the pine trees until she found the backdoor. Much to her joy it was unlocked and she entered silently. There was the faint sound of some sort of soft music playing in the front room, following the noise she crept towards the slightly ajar door down the corridor.
She entered the room, pistol first, to see Hugo Malet sipping wine on the couch, sitting in front of the fireplace a woman - presumably his wife- under his arm. Without hesitation #043 shot both figures through the back of the head, killing them instantly. She approached the bodies, turning them both over to confirm their identities.
"Target is dead, his wife also."
"Great job, #043, no witnesses. Return to Location Alpha"
#043 stared at the two bodies for too long. They were slumped, still cuddled against one another, their eyes dull and lifeless. If it wasn't for the bullet hole through their foreheads'. Their lives had so easily been ended, they had not even seen it coming. She had taken lives before, but they had always been fighting her- it was her or them. This was new, the easy kills. The easy killing felt wrong, she felt wrong, her hands began to shake. Her mask began to feel too tight, the air in the room was too dense for her to breathe- desperately she made her way to the window- opening it to let the fresh air hit her face.
"Mummy? Daddy? Can I have some hot chocolate?"
#043 froze, the voice was high pitched, a child's voice, her head turned in horror to watch the door to the front room open and the Malet's youngest son enter the room. His face immediately creased into confusion, too young to understand why his parents were slumped, motionless on the couch. He was so small. #043 knew about the concept of children, she was certain she herself must have been one at some point, but she had never realised how small they are. This one must have only reached her knees, his small arms were reaching for his parent's until he caught #043 in his sight. She slowly raised her pistol.
"Who are you?" The small child asked
"I am..." she stuttered, who was she? A number? How old was she? Was she once this child, this small, this helpless, this clueless, this... innocent? The boy's eyes shone with tears and fear.
"Are you a friend of Daddy's?"
Such innocence, so small, every fibre of #043's being was screaming at her- no witnesses- but her hand was shaking, her hands never shook, there was some p[art of her that refused to harm this child. The longer she looked into his eyes the farther down she pointed her pistol.
"I am..."
But if she left this child alive she would be put in that chair again, she would be hit and placed in that tiny room, she would be a failure and Dr. Leeb would be disappointed in her. She slowly began to walk towards the small child who simply looked up at her, wide eyed and teary.
"Who..." The child's voice faded away as #043 was looked directly down at him.
"I am... Eris."
With that Eris hit the child over the head with the butt of her pistol , enough to knock him unconscious but not enough to kill him, then fired a shot into the ground by his head, she hoped that an ambulance would arrive soon. She took a deep breath before climbing out the window, leaving the crime scene behind.
"Returning to Location Alpha, No witnesses remain."

So I've been wanting to write this since 5x10, but just now got the chance. This is a look at the ending scene from Murdoc's creepy, possessive obsession with Mac, and it plays with the idea of what might have happened if Bozer hadn't done the trick with the static (sorry Boze for taking away your moment of glory, but creepy Murdoc trumps hero time). Anyway, I hope you enjoy my twist on this episode. It was fun to write. Murdoc is fun to write. What does that say about me? ;)
Title: Murdoc + MacGyver - Everyone Else | Fandom: MacGyver 2016
Summary: AU ending to 5x10. Murdoc never planned on killing MacGyver in that skyscraper. Certainly not for the likes of Andrews. Or, in which Bozer doesn't do his trick with the comms and Murdoc sends a very clear message to all of Codex that MacGyver is HIS.
Characters | Pairings: Murdoc, Mac, Andrews, Riley, Desi
Words: 2,594
TW: Murdoc being creepier than usual, I guess
AO3 Tags: Murdoc Is Obsessed with MacGyver, Obsessive Murdoc, Possessive Murdoc, Angus MacGyver (MacGyver TV 2016) Whump. Hurt Angus Macgyver (Macgyver 2016), Season/Series 05, 5x10, 5x10 au, Implied MacRiley, Manhandling, Creepy Murdoc (MacGyver TV 2016), Obsessive Behavior, TW Creepy Obsession, Diamond + Quake + Carbon + Comms + Tower, Murdoc POV
Full story here or on AO3!
It was adorable, really, Murdoc thought as he lowered the improvised cutting torch slowly, steadily, agonizingly closer to MacGyver’s bruised and bloody face, that Eric Andrews thought that Murdoc was going to go through with this.  The general was a ridiculous man, the kind that Murdoc most enjoyed killing.  Arrogant and pretentious, yet stupid enough to believe he could manipulate, even control, Murdoc, he was a man who would look lovely with Murdoc’s gun pressed squarely between his eyes.
Yet despite his faults, he had been useful.  He’d helped Murdoc escape from the blacksite, and in return, Murdoc had vowed to help him set a trap for MacGyver.  Andrews wanted to broadcast Angus’s death to the heads of a terror cell.  It was his way of “interviewing” to become the head of the organization.  And what would Murdoc get out of this arrangement?  Other than his freedom, he would be given the opportunity to play with MacGyver before Andrews dealt the final blow.
So Murdoc used Andrews to escape the blacksite, and together they set this ingenious little trap for the genius himself.  He’d used Andrews and his resources as a means of playing his newest game.  He smiled and nodded when Andrews spouted his rhetoric, adjusted his plans as Andrews directed, and valiantly kept from gutting the egocentric wackadoodle – somehow – during the course of their time together.  He’d almost snapped and killed the guy, once.
He hated the way that Andrews spoke about his Angus MacGyver, gloated about how cathartic it would be to see the light go out of those blue eyes.  How he relished the notion of feeling MacGyver’s life sleep away, how he fantasized about wrapping his chains around that smooth, pale neck and squeezing , slowly and intimately, with all of Codex watching – after Murdoc had had his fun with him, of course.
Murdoc’s profession had always allowed him to maintain a rather fluid lifestyle, and until MacGyver had come onto the scene, the killer had moved from one job to the next without distraction.  He had never been one to get caught up or fixated on any one thing – as a killer, he understood the impermanence of life in a way few others could.
That is, until Angus “Boy Wonder” MacGyer.  Suddenly, Murdoc had a muse, a partner in his games, a worthy opponent, his very own Sherlock to his Moriarty.  And the thought of anyone – especially Andrews, that self-important crackpot who was so empty all he could do was spout the words of people who’d come before him – looking at Angus MacGyver with that kind of fire in their eyes, that kind of hatred, that dark intent, stirred something primal and angry deep within the hollow, twisted remnants of Murdoc’s soul.  Even worse was hearing that obnoxious, pedantic voice boasting about all the ways he planned to hurt MacGyver, all the ways he planned to kill him in front of a live studio audience.  A foregin, almost protective rush had overcome Murdoc.  The things that Andrews described, the torture, the killing itself – those were things that no one except for Murdoc himself could do to Angus MacGyver.
Murdoc could have snapped and killed him, then.  He almost had.  The trap had been set, MacGyver would soon be on his way.  Murdoc could take out Andrews in one surprise hit and wait for his BFF to arrive.  They might even get some time alone together before the rest of the love triangle showed up.  But he had stayed his hand.  He needed Andrews to contact Codex.  He had a message he needed to send.
And so he’d resisted the drumbeats of death so loud they blocked out his thoughts, and hadn’t put a bullet between Andrews’s eyes.
And now, here he was, in the moment of truth.  It had been a bold move, out of character, if you will, for Murdoc to take on MacGyver in hand-to-hand combat.  Normally, Murdoc avoided using brute force, not because it wasn’t fun – because, boy howdy, was it fun – but because his tools were much more precise than fists, and could cause more pain with less chance of unintended damage.
But this was a special occasion, and he allowed himself to indulge.  And it was a truly delicious situation, made all the more exhilarating with the knowledge that so many people were watching him work.  Not Codex – he hadn’t given a rat’s ass about Codex in that moment – but Phoenix, whom Murdoc had just manipulated and played with like a puppet master with his creepy little mannequins.  He kept an eye on the girls, and chills ran down his body as he saw the fear and desperation in their eyes, the way they strained helplessly against their bonds to get to their friend who was himself completely at Murdoc’s mercy.  He couldn’t see Matilda or Bozer or Taylor, but he could hear the fear in their voices when they spoke, and his mind’s eye conjured a splendid picture of their terrified eyes fixated on the screen, forced to watch as their golden boy was beaten and eventually murdered in front of them.  It was glorious .  Murdoc wished that moment could go on forever.
He truly had relished every hit he’d landed on MacGyver.  Bless him, he tried to fight back, but he was just a spy trained in field comat.  Murdoc was a killer.  Just because he didn’t use his fists that much anymore, it didn’t mean he didn’t know how to.  He was quick, and stronger than his lithe frame would suggest.  Beneath the long-sleeved shirts and black leather jackets, lean, deadly muscles lurked like a snake in the grass, always ready to strike – and strike fast.  Every kick, every hit, every punch to the face sent bolts of electricity up Murdoc’s arms.  He saw the moment when MacGyver’s cheek split open, watched the blood slowly trickle down as he wound up for another hit.  After about three hits directly to the face, MacGyver couldn’t hold himself up anymore and he made weak, desperate grabs for Murdoc’s jacket.  Murdoc felt the tug on the fabric, relished the feeling of MacGyver needing him in that moment.  When he threw MacGyver against the heavy metal support, he felt like a god.
Now here we was, with his greatest foe having literally just been under his boot.  His left hand was wrapped around MacGyver’s right wrist, pinning it down, his knee pressed against the half-conscious agent’s chest to keep him in place.  In his hands he held a tool that, as he had said moments ago, would be the most poetic end to MacGyver he could have concocted – finally silenced by one of his own fancy little inventions.  For a moment, Murdoc was tempted to plow ahead, not to kill, but to play, to hurt , to watch the dazed fear in his muse’s eyes turn to pain and sheer terror… but he had more important things to do.  Maybe he would take this toy with him when he left, and save it to use on MacGyver another day.
He leaned in close, his knee pressing harder into MacGyver’s sternum, and the boy wonder grunted in pain, gasped for breath.  Murdoc leaned closer, his face inches from his prey’s, and watched MacGyver’s concussed eyes go wide at the close proximity.  Murdoc noted with satisfaction that he’d really done a number on his blue-eyed buddy this time – the pupils were unequal, one dilated and the other not.  Murdoc whispered in Mac’s ear, “Don’t worry, friend, I would never let a pig like Andrews kill you.  I’ve got your back.”  He pulled back and winked conspiratorially.  Then, in one fluid motion, he dropped the torch, drew his gun, and shot Eric Andrews one, two, three times, right in his smug, ugly face.  The general didn’t even have time to be surprised by the betrayal.  He was already dead.
From across the room, Murdoc could hear one of the girls – probably the loud, bossy girlfriend – yelling something, but he didn’t pay attention.  Instead, he gripped MacGyver by the front of his jacket, hauled him to his feet (sort of; MacGyver slumped in Murdoc’s arms, unable to stand on his own, but Murdoc had no problem with that at all), and stood there facing the drone.  He could feel MacGyver trembling in pain, and it nearly sickened him that he was going to cut this meeting short.  Still, once he took care of this pesky Codex visit, he could look forward to plenty more games with his adversarial soulmate in the future.
Glaring up at the camera, Murdoc gave Mac’s weak, beaten form a little shake.  “See this guy?” he demanded, not waiting for an answer.  In the second of dead space between his question and answer, he did notice that Desiree had stopped yelling.  No one at the Phoenix was speaking.  Everyone was waiting, he knew, with bated breath, to see how this would turn out.  “Angus MacGyver, here, is mine. ”  He felt MacGyver stir weakly in his arms, protesting Murdoc’s claim even when concussed and barely cognizant.  “Hush, now, Angus,” Murdoc hissed.  “I’m trying to save your life.”
To Codex, he continued, “I love a good murder as much as the next guy.  Hell, more than the next guy.  Way more than him, actually.  So much more that I’ll kill the next guy just to scratch that itch.”  He grinned his most feral grin.  “But MacGyver is not on the market, you hear me?  The only one who is allowed to murder him is me .  Your Andrews was pathetic, a great brute who pretended at being a scholar because it made him feel important.  I meant what I said earlier, fellas – and ladies – this guy is so smart.  Way too smart for the likes of you.  Too smart for Andrews.”
He bared his teeth, shaking MacGyver once more to emphasize his point.  “Angus is my muse.  He’s my dance partner in this crazy murder-tango we’ve been doing for the past few years.  You thought I was being dramatic when I started reminiscing about the good old days earlier?”  He paused, thought, then amended, “Okay, so I was being dramatic, but I meant. Every. Word.  And it all boils down to this: The only one who’s going to end his life is me .”
A voice from the speakers, a female’s, cold and dead, offered, “Then kill him now.  Perhaps we can find a place in Codex for one as ruthless as you.”
Murdoc laughed out loud, throwing his head back.  His body trembled with giggles, and he heard MacGyver emit a grunt of pain at the motion.  “Whoops, sorry, buddy,” he apologized giddily, then shook him a bit more, this time for fun.  MacGyver stayed steadfastly quiet this time – bor -ing!
Murdoc sobered in an instant, letting every ounce of hatred, death, and chaos flood his gaze as his lips set into a thin line and he tightened his grip on MacGyver, who pushed feebly against his arms.  “You really think I want to be a part of your girl scout troop?  Please.  Codex before Angus MacGyver happened to it, maybe.  But now?  You all are ridiculous, dethroned kings who scrabble hungrily for any crumb left to you in your moldering ruins.  You aren’t powerful.  You aren’t smart.  That Leland was the only good thing you had going for you, and now he’s gone.”  He all but purred his next words: “And with what, a shot to the chest?  Precisely aimed, almost like a hit man had taken him out?  Hmmm….”
“ You are claiming responsibility for Leland’s death?”
Murdoc shrugged.  He finally, reluctantly released his grip on MacGyver, and the blonde tumbled to the floor.  Murdoc watched from the corner of his eye as he immediately began to drag himself slowly, agonizingly, away from Murdoc and toward his gal pals.  Murdoc rolled his eyes and clamped his boot down on MacGyver’s bruised back once more, effectively pinning him in place.  Too easy.  He peered into the camera again, rolled his shoulders, cracked his neck, and hissed, “Believe what you want about Leland’s death.  But do you really want to mess with the bastard who killed this great paragon of new wave terrorism?  Not saying it was me, but damn.  Whoever this guy is must be one tough cookie.  And I would advise you, friends ,” – never had that word held so much derision – “to not play with his toys.”  He ground his heel into MacGyver’s back a little deeper.  “The TL;DR?  MacGyver is off-limits.  If you kill him, I kill you, ten times more slowly and painfully than I plan to kill him.  Got it?”
Without giving the council a chance to respond, he raised his gun and shot the drone out of the air.  He tossed the gun aside, sighed, and stepped off of a weakly moving MacGyver.  He grabbed the genius under the armpits and dragged him to the opposite side of the room from the girls.  Producing another zip tie, Murdoc secured MacGyver to the nearest piece of equipment and stood back to observe his handiwork.  Paying no mind to the sorry state he was in, Angus was already stubbornly pulling himself up to a sitting position, bloody face set in pain and determination.  “You,” he panted, lifting his eyes up to meet Murdoc’s, “are insane.”
Murdoc laughed.  “I thought we’d already established that long ago, dear.”
“Don’t call me,” MacGyver wheezed, “dear.  Despite your… delusions, I do not … belong to you.  Or to anybody.”
“Expect maybe Miss Davis?” Murdoc mocked.  “And please , Angus.  Can’t you see that I was just putting on a show for the ‘evil Zoom meeting’?”  He hadn’t been, and he could tell that MacGyver was seeing straight through his lie.  “Look,” Murdoc said, “I hate it when we fight.  How about we both take some time and pick this back up when we’ve had a little time to heal and reflect?”
Through gritted teeth, MacGyver growled, “How about you go away and never come back?”
“Tsk, tsk, Angus .  That isn’t any way to treat your rescuer.  But you are concussed, so I’ll let it slide.  Actually, I need to motor.  Now that the situation’s neutralized, the authorities will be all over this place.  I really don’t fancy going back to that blacksite, so I’ll leave you here to wait for your buddies.”  He bent down, patted MacGyver on the face, grinned when his adversary jerked his head away from the touch.  “‘Til next time, Mac .”  He made a face.  “Actually, scratch that.  My calling you Mac is almost as unsettling as Taylor calling Miss Davis Riles .”  He heard an indigent noise from over the comm – he’d almost forgotten Phoenix was listening in, they’d been so quiet.  He chuckled, relishing how fun Russ Taylor was to annoy.  “Anway, I’ll see you soon, Angus.”
Murdoc removed the comm and crushed it under his boot, then backed away and sauntered from the room, whistling his slow, eerie funeral dirge, “Home on the Range.”
He knew that even while injured and concussed, MacGyver would be out of the zipties and releasing his friends before the polícia arrived.  He’d then be whisked away to a hospital, and all of Phoenix would have to deal with the fallout of the secrets that had been revealed.  He wondered if MacGyver would choose Desiree or Riley.  In the end, though, he knew that it wouldn’t matter who MacGyver chose.  He could deny it all he wanted, but in the end, there would be Murdoc.
There would always be Murdoc.

Finally saw New York Special of Miraculous and it was amazing ! 👏😍
Dying of laughter at the first half of the episode I think (Gorilla scene 😂)
If we had a drinking game about the numbers of time we heard the word "friend" i'm pretty sure everyone will be comating on the floor.
New York super heroes were so good ! It was interesting to see how things works in different from Paris. Same for the vilain.
Hawkmoth was great, as always 😊
Love square fluff, funny and angst moments were good.
Teamwork and fights were great 👏😍

One of the doctors told us about acetaminophen dosing for kids in my peds rotation. I forgot how to dose it.🙄 I do remember the 5 mL though.
The appropriate acetaminophen dosage for children is 10-15 mg/kg. Since this patient weighs 15 kilograms, the prescription should be for 225 mg (15 x 15 = 225 mg) or 150 mg (10 x 15 = 150 mg). The appropriate frequency of dosing is every 6 hours, not to exceed a maximum daily dose of 75 mg/kg up to 4 grams daily (the maximum daily dosage for a child of 15 kg would be 1,125 mg in this example). When weight is unknown the following guidelines for this age group can be used:
Age 2-3 years (weight, 24-35 lbs [10.9-16.3 kg])
Dose: 160 mg/dose
Oral suspension (160 mg/5 mL): 5 mL
Chewable tablets (80 mg/tab): 2 tablets
Chewable tablets (160 mg/tab): 1 tablet
Another useful pain reliever/fever reducer is ibuprofen, but it can only be used in children greater than 6 months of age. The dosing of ibuprofen is 10 mg/kg every 6 hours, not to exceed a daily dosage of 40 mg/kg (up to 3200 mg). 24-35 lbs (10.9-16.3 kg) gets 160mg per dose.
Bottom Line: Acetaminophen dosing is 10-15 mg/kg every 6 hours not to exceed 75 mg/kg in a 24 hour period.
COMBANK Insight : Dosing questions are fair game for the COMAT, Level 2-CE, and Level 3! You should take the time to review the basic dosing regimens for hypertensive, diabetic, analgesic, and other therapies.
I didn’t know we had to know dosing. I think that’s more resident level shit. Sure, I’ll just add that to the impossible number of numbers and facts I’m supposed to know.😫

Dark Souls deserves its reputation for being hard, but I feel like the biggest thing it did was be accessible, much moreso than most other action games... Like: the slowed down animation priority system keeps the action readable for someone who’s not used to action games, so that you always know whats happening from the beginnig, whereas with faster action games thats definitely a skill you have to develop and was a barrier to entry for me for a long time; you’ll often see people on forums say things like “its difficult but I can always see why I died, so its fair” etc. The implication is that in other games, they dont even know whats killing them; they cant read the action.
But, its also not a very strict animation priority system; you can cancel the recovery on most animations with a roll, rolls are very fast and have a lot of iframes, and most moves come out fast, hitting within a few frames of their animation starting; its not the kind of strict, punitive animation priority of Monster Hunter, which makes a lot of players bounce off even though the action is readable; new players feel like they dont know how to operate their own character.
There are also only two attacks, which dont interact at all, and one of them (r2) is usually useless; jump attacks serve more or less no function in the game and can be ignored and you can ignore kicks without much penalty as well. Its, for most players, a 1-button 1-attack action game and you dont need to spend any time practicing its comat system. Compared to other action games, where pressing the attack button executes a string of different attacks, and there may be multiple attack buttons meaning multiple strings, and these strings interact depending on how you alternate between them, to the extent that the game comes with a combo list of stuff you have to memorize - it cuts down on a lot of barriers for new players (sadly, though, its definitely at the expense of limiting the depth of its combat, but its okay)
The notoriety of its difficulty probably comes from the fact that more people are able to play it than most other action games; stuff like Ninja Gaiden, God Hand and 2nd generation Monster Hunter get a lot harder but most people give up trying to learn how to play before they ever get to the hard part. Dark Souls does something very unique in that it combines a high difficulty with a very gradual learning curve; its accessible and hard. It’s a cool thing abt the game...
This is probably btw a big part of why a lot of people bought Nioh but no one talks about it; you have to practice its combat system, which is something most people dont have the time, energy or inclination to do.

thinking about adding more mega man charcters? mortal comat or star fix muses?
For megaman characters, I might add Ciel and Dr, Weil in the future once I finish Megaman Zero 4 and poke around Classic Megaman to see who I’ll add on the list. Meanwhile, I’m still new to Mortal Kombat and I might add Goro and Sheeva onto the list in the future. Same with Onaga once I find the game he stared in. For Star Fox, Falco is in the air along with Peppy but I need to play more Star Fox games.

Here is the current comate It is still just like it was before not much has changed other than the aesthetic and look! There are still a lot more assets to be updated and improved but so far here is what we have.
If you are an artist and you wanna help a struggling fellow indie game developer let me know what art you would like to do for the game.:D
