whats your thought process when making edits? like do you have a general idea from the beginning? or is it sorta step by step for each image?

Hi anon! I do usually try to have a specific vibe or aesthetic I'm going for with each edit; one might be vaporwave inspired, one might be more grungey, i might have a specific costume or art style i want to use and invoke, but i rarely have every panel thought out from the get go, more usually i have one or two planned and the rest i either try to think about what will go well with what ive already done, or i browse other editing blogs such as @comicgraphic or look through my pinterest board of edits. while i would recommend to always be fluid and be willing to experiment with your ideas, i do think it is important to have a general theme or "look" in mind when editing, like if you have a bunch of motifs of weapons, including some flower / wildlife motifs in one panel randomly can be very disjointing and subtract from your edits' overall impact. obviously, there are exceptions, but it's something to keep in mind! hope this helps a little, let me know if you need more detail :)

I really like this Hank Pym one I did, the colours just look nice to me and I tried some fun things out that I haven't tried again despite having fun with them!

@comicgraphic / @fullllsun is always lovely to see on my dash whenever they make new things! The colours and designs are always wonderful! @qkwannon has a beautifully minimalist design style and I love the use of image ratios, it's really unique and distinct! @judgeuriel has the most delicious textures and I love the subtle colouring they do! Though @sithaari is more Star Wars based than I am, I do really love the texture and vibrancy that they have, everything is so colourful and sharp! And I love the style of @hoshikimiyo's work! The colours again and designs look super organic, I love seeing them when they post!
