Soot fact! Sooty actually has the 'sooty' gene, though she doesn't have super high expression. The sooty gene causes a slight gradient on her beak and the dark freckles on her coverts

i'm too lazy to write a drabble but i do think about dark's birth a lot- rather his own feelings over it. the physical agony of being 'ripped in half' and seeing niwa's eyes then seeing through them. the bewilderment. the confusion. not understanding why or how he was born. not knowing what to do with himself, not knowing what he even could do with himself. not even having a name, then, sometime while he's this tender and newborn, still trying to figure out who 'he' is or supposed to be, he gets captured and trapped within manisumea's labyrinth. pandora's box, the garden of eden, until mani herself sets him free, then gets broken for it. the fact this is very, very likely dark's very first experience of betrayal and absolute independent emotion: disgust. displeasure, if not outright hatred. sorrow. all the negative things he presently wants to avoid as he becomes a phantom thief and starts to steal away the hikari's art for himself. people who are like blank canvases are so endlessly fascinating to dark because for him, creating his persona of 'dark' as it is was something drenched in metaphorical death and tears for him. there was a part of himself that was desperate to fill every gaping, empty spot and bleeding wound left behind after the kokuyoku's separation. not even the first niwa remained with him, after all, and i like to imagine that the same way post-canon daisuke takes up dark's name and continues the legacy of the great phantom thief, dark only took the name 'dark' from the niwa ancestor after he, the very first dark, died.

I really hope there will be something like an auction in Fountain where we get Diluc to buy us what we need Just to show off how rich he is, also show off his connections with the wine guild and information network. I want them to show his more unique side rather than focusing on his night vigilance, because we have enough vigilantes in the story so far and I think all of them are a lot more effective than him, like Rosaria is a better mondstadt vigilante, very precise and deadly (and who will suspect a nun? There is a lot of them and she barely attends anything so who remember her?). And xiao and cyno all are better vigilantes if you ask me.

what Diluc has is he is both rich and a strong (really strong) fighter, so everyone would not suspect the business man to actually be able to swing a Claymore and be extremely skilled at it! He was supposed to be a business man not a monster lol, if we want to show more of his business/ rich side he would come next to Ninnguang, which is interesting, idk why hoyo didn’t show these two interact or talk about each other before? Come on, hoyo

like there is so much potential with Diluc but it feels who ever was drafting his character just didn’t go back to it and diluc just stuck being one dimensional character

not for nothing that roger and jeff are wearing completely identical suits for vicki's wedding down to the same pearl stick pin and it's roger that is distinguished with the accessory and the visual emphasis. that roger wears the pocket square and jeff goes plain without one, without a boutonnière (as feels the most probable and appropriate; they both wear boutonnières in roger's prophetic dream of the wedding). that not only is he wearing the handkerchief, but it's folded in such a way as so take as much space as possible – straying from accepted formality of a neat TV fold, occupying more room on the screen, drawing more attention, pointing among other things to his heart in bright white.
