JASICO WEEK DAY 6: CROSSOVER

(OMG Check, Please! Crossover)

A puck ricochets off the boards and, like clockwork, the newbie drops.

“That one didn’t even come close to him,” Percy mutters as he sweeps by on the ice, circling around behind the net. Nico’s shoulder twitches, though he doesn’t look.

The newbie stays down. Coach Brunner squats beside him, putting a hand gingerly on his back. Newbie flinches.

“He shouldn’t be playing if he can’t handle it,” Nico mutters, averting his eyes only when Newbie raises his head back up.

Percy’s side-eye is a physical sensation on the side of his face. “He can get used to it. The season hasn’t even started yet, man, we gotta give him a chance.”

That’s fucking bullshit. Nico tightens his grip on his stick and does not snap, because it’s not Percy’s fault their rookie is inept. Percy doesn’t deserve Nico’s outrage. He’s trying his best.

Newbie’s shaking so bad, Coach has him go sit on the bench to calm back down. The rest of the team have started doing their drills in slow-motion, their heads all turned to stare at the incident.

A distraction. The newbie is a fucking distraction, Nico can’t handle a distraction right now, not when Connor and Chris need to work out their passes, not when Charlie and Mike need to get their shit together in the defensive zones.

Nico slams his stick blade-first into the ice, cracking silence through the dull buzz. Attention, fucking finally, turns back to him.

“Focus on your work,” Nico says, as threatening as he can. “Are you going to be this distracted midgame? No? Didn’t fucking think so.”

Activity resumes. Nico throws his mask back down over his face and does not meet Percy’s eyes, when he starts taking mean, hard-to-block shots.

(Nico also does not look at Newbie, who put his head down again the second Nico’s stick hit the ice. Right now, that's not his fucking problem. If the guy can't get his goddamn head on right, Nico doesn't have the space to give two shits.)

You weren't sure what to expect— despite your severe reaction the past week, you're now mellowed down and calm, you think back on your conversation with Seb a few months ago before his retirement.

You definitely have not moved on, and the mention of the upcoming season definitely felt like a band-aid ripped off a bleeding wound. And all the pain and resentment you felt was now revealed beneath the familial memories you built with Ales and Fernando.

Driving up to his gate, you're instantly filled with the comfort of his private home. The place you spent most of your time outside work, and even more than your own house, with Ales and Fernando. You rub away the headache slowly building in your head, getting out of your car and meeting Fernando who greeted you out of his home.

"Are you feeling better?"

You wince away, as you take a seat on the chair opposite of him. It would be much easier if he resented you the way you did. That you'd rather he treat you unfairly in the last few years, but he's Fernando. He's the father of your son, and the man you tenderly love, even to this day.

Which only hurts more, knowing you can never fully let go of the past, despite both growing since your separation but seeing him with Ales sparked the burning hope in you. Maybe this would be the time for you and Fernando, that this might be the future you've been longing for all along.

"I'm sorry, how I reacted last week... I thought I was okay with it, but I guess I still feel the same way." You rub your arms, looking elsewhere but Fernando's eyes, knowing well he's staring right through you. You were scared and vulnerable, all throughout the years you noticed your apprehension in communicating your feelings for the sake of your relationship. And it wasn't going well for you, or for Fernando, but this time it'd be different.

"And before you say anything, I just want to say that I'm proud of you. I'm glad you still race, and for the upcoming season. I understand if you think it's too selfish of me not to come, but Ales will, I just think I'm not ready for it yet."

You gulp down your nerves, raising your head, staring head on at Alonso who is still smiling. It breaks your heart, seeing him like this— if only he'd get up and say something about how unfair it is to him.

"I understand it. You don't have to worry, I won't force you." Silence.

The room was met with silence, until you hear the sniffles coming from Fernando, leaving you frozen in your seat. As much as you hate being vulnerable in front of him, you never thought he'd cry in front of you first.

You hear his laughter, seconds after as he wipes the tears falling from him eyes.

"Please, don't worry this is not your fault... I guess you could say I'm overwhelmed. I only ever thought about this moment, I kept thinking about when we can have this talk, but you were so focused on Ales. Rightfully so, he's our son and our priority, so even though I wanted to fix what has been broken before, maybe it wasn't the time. And when we talked last night, I kept blaming myself for rushing you, because it was my fault.

And now, you're telling me yourself, I'm happy you're here. I'm happy that you told me yourself, and every day I will prove myself to be better, not just as Ales' father but as someone who is worthy to be with you. I'm sorry if I'm being emotional, I just didn't think I would come close to this again. And with you, if you resent me, I won't blame you. I resent myself every day, after you left me, and this... this is more than enough for me right now."

It wasn't long before the tears began to fall from your eyes, you only ever thought of your pain. Choosing to leave with Ales, away from Fernando— away from the years you've been together. Away from the only man you ever loved.

Your only concern was licking the wounds of what was left from Fernando, what you didn't think was how he felt all those years.

"I'm sorry... How lonely it must've felt for you all those years. Away from Ales— I promise you, this time it will be different. One day, we will be together— I know it, because I don't think I'd have it any other way than you. I love you Fernando! I still do, even after all these years—"

Closing you eyes, your hands instinctively wrap around Fernando's neck wanting him closer, pulling him from more. Hands grabbing his face, feeling the tears fall down your fingers. Wiping them away, you kiss him once more before pulling each other in a tight hug.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kiss you without—"

"Shhh..." You hush Fernando's worries, resting your head on his shoulder, hands trailing over his back, resting them on top of his thick hair.

"I'm happy we had this conversation as well. Thank you Fernando. Thank you for still seeing me in your future. I had so many worries, and questions— all this time, I was just a coward. A selfish coward you decided for the both of us."

Fernando shakes his head, tutting his lips, "I won't let you day those things to yourself you hear me? You are brave and courageous, understand? And I love you, even though I feel undeserving of your feeling, I will work hard to be the man who deserves it. What happened, I don't blame you. But we'll figure these things out as the time goes by, don't be a stranger?"

With blurry eyes, you remove your head from Fernando's shoulders nodding your head. "I think I need to rest for a bit, can I take a nap here for a bit?"

"You want me to pick up Ales from Lance's while you sleep?"

The mention of your son immediately brought the sparkle in your eyes, which wasn't missed by Fernando who only smiled as he tucked you in his bed. "You can rest for a while, and when you wake up, we will be here. Sleep well Amor."

You feel your eyes getting heavier as Fernando's voice begins to thin out, you feel him leave a small kiss on your forehead causing you to smile before dosing off to your sleep.

Chaeyoung: she's just a cool chick. Really chill, really outgoing and open minded. Doesn't let a lot of negativity get to her, thinks outside the box and is okay being different from others. She gives valley girl vibes

Mina: She has her mental issues, but something about her seems confident (she has the duality of being unsure/reserved and being confident/assertive). I think she's low-key a big flirt and more easygoing than she seems

Sana: I just like her. She's also a big flirt, type of person to know what it takes to get what she wants. Not afraid to put herself out there or garner attention. Although I do feel like she's the type to be really scary when upset. I doubt she gets angry easily but when she does, you don't want to mess with her

Dahyun: she seems very reserved, conservative , and a perfectionist. She could be quite the overthinker, constantly second-guessing herself. But she does give very motherly, kind vibes to me. Type of person to get enjoyment for caring for others, like a mom smiling at her babies while they eat her cooking . Definitely wifey material

Jihyo: she has a lot of insecurities and may get into relationships with men that don't treat her right. Idky I feel like she's the most likely to settle down with a guy she supports financially/emotionally/mentally. The other girls give off "rich men only" tease(besides Dahyun and her), but she may settle for less than she deserves.

Tzuyu: VERY dark energy. Quite insecure as well. She seems like she's constantly drowning in her own misery. For some reason, I get a vibe that her parents are to blame for why she is the way she is. Like a girl constantly told to not show emotion/react, don't show anything less than perfection. She reminds me of Elsa. "Conceal, don't feel."

Jeongyeon: A LOT of insecurities and dark thoughts as well. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a lot of plastic surgery or something. Especially if she begins to lose her fame or she settles down. She does seem quite strongheaded and tough (but she may deep down get scared easily). Like someone who puts up a brave front.

Momo + Nayeon: These two give off Regina George vibes. Minus the senseless disrespect of others just for the fun of it. No. I think they both can be cruel, but for reason, even if the reason doesn't make them look good. I get very catty/shady/backstabbing energy from these two. I would say Momo's energy is a bit better than Nayeon's. Momo seems like the type to stop her behavior if she gets called out on it. While Nayeon is just who she is (I do respect how much Nayeon knows who she is, what she's about, and how to get what she wants). I think Nayeon is unapologetically her, and even if I think she's mean at times, I can't help but respect her strongmindedness.

"Don't say that."

"_____, listen to me," San pleads, desperately clinging onto his hold on your wrists that you're struggling to escape from, frantically shaking your head over what he just said. "Please. Listen to me."

If his previous statement didn't already painfully clutch at your chest, the sight in front of you definitely would. It's a rare occurence to see the boy cry – not because he lacks the emotional bandwidth to do so, but because he strives to always be the source of joy for others around him. Seeing him strain himself to not let the gathered tears on his waterline fall forces the lump in your throat to grow in size, lodging a sick feeling in your chest that worsens the shortness of your breath. Still, you won't, can't, let him go without putting up a fight. "I won't hear you. You don't mean that."

You don't even notice the tears that slipped out your eyes until San shifts to place his thumbs on each side of your cheek to wipe them away. The corner of his lips curl into a shaky smile as his pupils trace over every detail of your face, as if this would be the last time he gets to see you.

"We both know this day would come," he softly starts, gently brushing his thumb back and forth in hopes of comforting you. Much to your distaste, your body instinctively reacts as it always does to his touch; calming down your rapid breaths to a slower pace. "We're not supposed to last and you know that."

There's a crack to his voice as he said it, as if he himself understood perfectly the implication of his words but refuses to let the fact that it's happening right now sink in. His head tilts to the side as he brings his hand to caress the underside of your face and pull you closer to him. His smile morphs into a crushed expression at a closer look of your face, the realization that he'll probably never get used to the absence of you and your warmth causing a tick to his jaw.

"But I love you," you say, hoping the three words reign enough as a reason to make him stay. You edge closer to him, feeling your hands inch to wrap underneath his arm and rest your head against his chest, memorizing the thrum of his heartbeat.

"I love you," you repeat.

"So do I. So do I, angel. I love you so much, you have no idea." San cradles the back of your head to his chest, placing his chin atop your head, letting your bodies bask in each other's embrace.

"But we know we'll get tired of this. The hiding, the distance, the waiting," he continues. "We could barely keep up with video calls and texts while I'm away, and with your upcoming debut, we'll barely have any time for that."

As much as you hate to admit it, he's right. Ever since his debut a couple months ago, you barely see each other due to his busy schedule and him flying overseas. You can see through the exhaustion he tries to hide in video calls when he forces himself to stay awake just to see you. You're so unimaginably happy for him to finally achieve his dream of debuting, but a selfish part of you hates it for taking him away from you.

But you get it. You understand. You have the same dream as his after all.

You peer up at him, your teary eyes unblinking while you drink in his soft eyes and prominent dimples as he flashes you a small smile. The silence tells him that you agree to what he said, as much as it pains you.

"So this is it then?" you whisper, grasping the back of his shirt tightly, in fear of eventually having to let it go. To let him go.

"We'll still be there for each other," San rasps, a choked out sound that barely escapes his throat. He's trying his hardest to hold back his tears and puts up a show of maintaining the smile on his face that you know is for your sake. To show you that everything is going to be alright. That, maybe, just as this relationship isn't meant to last, then this break wouldn't last either. "I'll always be there for you. Whenever you need me. I'm here."

This is goodbye.

You feel yourself losing your composure again at his words, your features strained and breathing ragged. A choked laugh erupts from you as you sniffle, using the underside of your wrist to wipe away at your eyes and backing away from his hold. "San, you're making me cry harder."

San internally frowns at the removal of your body from being molded against his, but lets out a chortle at your remark for the sake of maintaining a semblance of normalcy. "Sorry for that."

You look at the man in front of you, the only man you've ever known to love. You don't think you'll ever stop loving him.

"I'll always love you," San wins the unspoken race of saying it first, provoking you to playfully roll your still teary eyes at him which he smiles at. "I'll bring you everywhere with me, right here." he grasps at the left side of his chest – at his heart. "You'll always have a place in me."

"You're everything to me," he breathes.

"You are to me too," you mutter softly. You then jokingly bring your fist to punch at his upper arm, eliciting a dramatized groan from him. "Don't forget about me now that you're famous."

Translation: I'll always love you too.

His curled eyes remain hollow even though he showcases a wide grin at your teasing and its underlying meaning, his dimples carving deeper into his skin. He's back to adopting the cheery persona he's used to, although he knows he'll never be the same. "Shut up, you know I'll always be your number one fan."

Translation: I'll wait for you. For us to happen again. Someday.

(I would like to headcanon Bea volunteered to come all the way to pick up Mary not only because Mary is her friend but because she suspects Mary already found Ava and she wanted to see her)

And I would like to think that I’m right(Bea your gay is showing people don’t just stared at your left mirror standing like that)

Two things i wanna talk about

One

How do I know Mary knows something is up with Beatrice and Ava?

One episode later she basically compared what Shannon is to her

To what Ava is to Bea

“Letting Duretti get away with murder”

That’s 100% about Shannon

Now we all know who Shannon is to Mary ;)

The fact that she used their relationship and tried to convinced Bea hey you gotta do something you girl friend might die if you don’t

Yeah she knows definitely

And Two, this conversation between Bea and Camila

fun fact, Camila is this first one to call Beatrice Bea

I would like to headcanon that whenever Bea were tasked to train new recruits, in order to make them feel more comfortable, at some point Beatrice would let them call her Bea as is sign of closeness(Kinda like a “ My name is Yasmin Khan but my friends call me yaz situation)

Or is just Camila being Camila

either way is cute asf

and I love that Ava after being trained by Bea for two months calls her Bea most of the time too

Now some people think that the halo is sentient

Some think that it only acts as a tool and the one whos in change is the halo bearer

Personally I’m leaning towards the halo is just a tool the one who’s in control is the user

And how powerful it can be is up to the bearer

Because in ep 3 when she is tied to the table

I’m guessing all she’s thinking is how to free herself

And the halo reacted to her thoughts by phasing her though the bed, freeing her

I think the same happened here

All she is thinking is how to save Beatrice and Mary

From the trajectory of the bullets(the slow mo at the end of the gif )

Is going the opposite side from where Mary and Bea is

Ava and Mary’s sibling dynamic is real

And Ava might be a cocky little shit (affectionate) towards Mary sometimes but she cares about Mary

Now something that I noticed from the walk to the van I want to talk about

I can hear Camila going

Now this could just be a simple error

But being the overthinker that I am

I would like to believe Bea was so worried about Ava that she had to check twice

This scene is giving Clarke Griffin from the 100 coming to Lexa’s room and change her perfectly fine bandages to a random cloth just so she could talk to Lexa

Bea chill out she’s not gonna die she can heal herself

Wonpil (DAY6): He’d initially whine and get all bothered about it for a little while, but in reality, he’d just get over it like nothing happened, well, try to act like nothing happened. He knows he should be more used to it by now, acting like it’s not a bother anymore.

Jeonghan (Seventeen): Jeonghan, being pranked, you have to be kidding right? He’s the one of the most chaotic members in the group and would end up doing the pranking, nothing can fool him, so he’d just laugh and sigh at their failed attempt.

Bang Chan (StrayKids): He’d be so used to it, and so used to the antics from his members that he’d either really wouldn’t give them much of a reaction, just sigh and shake his head with a small smile on his face or would lose his cool and whine at them, either extreme.

The 1% Of Chances | TWICE Jeongyeon x Male Reader Fanfic: CHAPTER 4

"Sky's getting dark, Imma go back to my house and sleep guys.", you said to the microphone of your headphone set placed near in your mouth.

"Same. It's better to continue this house in daylight.", Mina replied, her voice was clearly audible in your ear from your headphone.

"Jihyo, where are you?"

"Wait, I'm trying to go back up. I'm in the cave just finished searching for diamonds, guys.", Jihyo responded, a little bit of struggle poked in her tone.

"Alright, we'll just wait he-"

You were about to complete your words when a deafeaning scream barges in your eardrum that made you wince in pain and coated your skin in chills.

Mina suffered the same, and both of you caught a sight in your respective computer screens in sync after Jihyo's scream resonated in your audio.

"zyozyo was killed by a Creeper."

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH NOOOOOOOO!!!"

"Yikes.", you simply commented. Mina stiffled a laugh until she immediately gave up seconds later, finding the unfortunate fate for Jihyo's avatar too hilarious which you helplessly joined in.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, are you okay unnie?"

"LESS THAN OKAY, OKAY?!", Jihyo's frustration emerged. "Aaaaaa my things are now gone!!! And my 5 diamonds that I just freaking searched so hard too!!!", she lets out a baby whine.

You echoed another laugh which earned an iconic "Yah!" offended sound from Jihyo herself. "I didn't even know there's a creeper about to explode behind me while I'm busy making a dirt stair."

Confident that Jihyo respawned on her own house after the death screen, you commanded and attempted to relax her. "Don't worry, Ji. Me and Mina will help get that. You remember the direction of the cave right?"

"Yeah."

"Good. Let's sleep now so we can go back to our tasks quick."

You clicked on your mouse, pointing the crosshair on the bed; controlling your avatar to lay on your red wooled bed.

The screen slowly fades to black while Jihyo spoke again. "As my repay, I'll make you guys diamond weapons and armors."

"Cool!", Mina reacted positively.

"Oh yeah thanks, Ji!!!", you said; fully motivated to follow Jihyo and reclaim her things that were left scattered in the cave.

But then, just as when all of your each characters awakened in a new morning setting; your phone begun suddenly ringing; alarming you from an anonymous call.

"Uhh girls, I'll be afk for a sec. I got a call.", you excused yourself after pressing the options menu of the game you're playing.

"We'll wait."

"Take your time, YNN."

You removed the headphone wrapped above your head, placing it on your gaming table then muted your mic on your discord channel where Jihyo and Mina are also active in the call before you swiped the screen to the green button to answer.

You recognized that the call is coming from Sadness noona, based from the tag labeled in the profile.

"Hello, noona?

"YN, hi!", Sadness greeted you. "May I ask if Jeongyeon can be free this week or in the next?"

"Lemme take a look, noona.", you reached for your tablet inside your desk and opened it. Scrolling through your notes, you entered your own made schedule calendar for Jeongyeon's pending activities and projects.

"Uhh yes, noona. She's available on the rest of this week afterwards."

"Good! Tell her that she was invited to guest in the radio show hosted by DAY6 YoungK which we were allowed to asked and choose what day they are free. I called Heungson and Yeongsu for Nayeon and Sana's sched and they said they're also good to go."

"Oh, Nayeon and Sana will join Jeongyeon?"

"Yeah, three of them.", Sadness said. "So yeah, I'll infrom the staffs now that they can appear on the next episode this coming Saturday. Don't forget to tell Jeongyeon about this, okay?"

"Noted, noona."

"Okay, bye! Thanks for responding, YN!", you bid your goodbye too before noona did the serve to end the call.

After your conversation with Sadness, you placed your phone back to the table and wore your headphones again, unmuting your mic to speak for go signal to continue your Minecraft playtime that you promised with Mina and Jihyo today.

1 HOUR LATER

After your gameplay ended with them, you walked out of your room and went to their dorm where you gave a 'good game gesture on Mina and Jihyo who both exited their rooms to rest in the couch together.

"Is Jeongyeon in her room?", you asked after you glanced at the show they're watching on TV.

"Yeah, cleaning as usual.", Jihyo answered.

"Okay, thanks. I'll talk to her in a bit about her schedule.", the leader nodded before she directed her eyes back at the screen.

You cautiously stepped onto the front of Jeongyeon's door which is slightly opened, revealing a narrow view of the idol fixing her bedsheet and pillow.

"She really does love cleaning.", you chuckled to yourself. It makes you awe that before you can only hear and see from shows, interviews or even their own content that your bias is the clean freak of the group which is a nice thing to know; now you're literally standing in front of her room to see it by yourself personally.

You knocked at the door twice to grab the attention of the busy woman.

She turned around, seeing your figure blocking the doorway.

"Oh, YN oppa?"

"Hi Jeong.", you grinned. "Sorry to interrupt your chores, by the way."

"No it's fine, I'm almost done now anyway.", Jeongyeon smiled assuringly, swiping the fabric of the bedsheet to make it look less crumpled.

"What brings you here, oppa?"

"Well, Sadness-noona asked me if you are available this week for another schedule, I said yes because tomorrow you have your dance practice with your instructor and that was supposed to be the last for the remainder of the week.", you explained as Jeongyeon continued to fix her bed while she focusedly listened at you.

"But I gave away one free day of yours for a radio show invitation. Sadness-noona confirmed it now that you'll be there with Nayeon and Sana."

"Oh, they're coming too?", Jeongyeon was surprised.

"Yeah, as per request by the DJ.", you nodded.

"What radio show?"

"Kiss The Radio?", you were a little unsure in your tone because you nearly forgot what it called. "Noona said it's Day6 Young K who sent the invitation."

"Ooohhhh! Hehe, it's Young K sunbae.", Jeongyeon lets out an enlightened sound with her mouth agaped as she identified the person you just mentioned.

"He's a senior in our company, oppa."

"Oh? 3rd Gen?"

"Yup, he's part of DAY6 which is our company's band. Not our only one though, they just debuted a new rookie of ours named XDinary Heroes few months ago.", Jeongyeon shared another additional information which piqued your interest.

"That's actually fascinating.", you hummed and cupped your chin. "Well, have fun on their show okay?"

"I'm already excited.", Jeongyeon increased her voice of delight. "I love their group and... h-he's my bias too so... yeah hihi.", she giggled.

You aren't mistaken no matter how many times you want to replay it in your mind that Jeongyeon flushed right after she said that which kind of made your smile minimize a bit.

You snapped out of the ridiculous thoughts in your mind immediately that were beginning to cloud your head as you talked back to her.

"Aah, now it makes sense.", you gawked. "I could relate on how it feels like meeting your bias, that's why I understand your uplifted reaction right now Jeong."

"I figured out the same.", she agreed.

You cast another short stare at her as you can't help but to be stuck for a moment at her glorious visuals, heart rising and falling quite faster as you savor how good it feels to see her as usual.

"I-I'll go back to my dorm now, Jeong. Have a nice day."

"Okayyy! Thanks for the update oppa and enjoy the rest of the day.", Jeongyeon waved cutely at you which you unhesitantly responded the same, not wanting to leave it ignored.

You walked away from her room and whistled at Mina one last time before leaving their dorm, throwing a half filled pack of Skittles in your pocket which made the penguin instantly happy.

3 DAYS LATER

The van you're riding together with Jeongyeon, Nayeon and Sana along with Heungson and Yeongsu, two other fellow managers of yours who are in charge of the two other idols has arrived in front of the KBS Cool FM radio station in Seoul.

After parking the medium of transportation in the vacant lot, you escorted Jeongyeon on stepping out the van before all six of you entered the building.

Reaching the 5th floor where the Kiss The Radio room is located, the KBS staffs instructed you, Heungson and Yeongsu to stay behind the radio broadcasting room while Jeongyeon, Sana and Nayeon were offered to sit on their respective seats already while waiting for the show to start.

Few minutes has passed, the DJ himself Young K of Day6 enters the room which all of you stood up and greeted him politely while the girls' was mixed with less awkwardness because them four are already close to one another.

And there you noticed that Jeongyeon's reaction when Young K high fived with her was a bit suspicious from you. Even though she covered her mouth you knew exactly that she sported with the same blush she had earlier when YoungK's name is being mentioned.

You smiled along with your poker face and it vanishes painfully slow as you watched the entire segment of them conversing with full of fun around the room.

It's unavoidable to feel a bit disheartened seeing Jeongyeon listening very attentively at YoungK with her eyes sparkling in full brightness of energy within her, now that she's sharing a moment with her bias and you on the other hands, is having a heavy crush on the girl idol.

You tried to chill down as you repeatedly reminding yourself that he's just Jeong's bias but the negative is kicking back, telling you otherwise that why you should go on that side when you knew that you won't even have a chance with her, as if she'll care about your feelings for her... so you must let it hurt and keep that jealousy in you.

As the show ended, the girls requested for all three of you to capture a photo of them with YoungK together.

You followed too and grabbed your phone, pointing the camera at the group.

But what you saw made your heart ache more.

YoungK was beside Jeongyeon, his arm wrapped around her back and reaching her shoulder to hold onto.

You emotionlessly took a shot at them then showed the pictures at Jeongyeon which was nearly satisfied at these.

Nearly, because she gave a favor one last time for you to do quick to make her fully satisfied.

"Oppa, take a picture of us and YoungK please?", Jeongyeon pursed her ducky lips on you. It was cute, you admitted... but the mood has been ruined with your overthinking about their relationship together that probably more than meets the eye.

"O-okay."

Jeongyeon clapped before she called YoungK and insisted him to pose together for another picture.

There, you just witness them being very close together; standing in front of them looking like you're totally fine but you're not.

YoungK wrapped again his arm around Jeongyeon and they both showed peace signs which you quickly captured them, unable to bear this scene much longer.

You successfully made Jeongyeon think it was enough, allowing the six of you to leave and say goodbye to YoungK who is blessed to entertain his guests for tonight.

As you stood out of the exitway of the building, the cold night air harshly blew everyone of you; making yourselves cover your faces with your hands to avoid contact with the dusts splattered and went crazily flew around you.

Jeongyeon failed to manage protecting her own pair as you observed her blinking rapidly and rubbed her eyes furiously, letting out wincing sounds that concerned you.

"Ah my eyes!"

"Don't rub your eyes, Jeong. Show it to me."

You guided her hands to pull them down and reveal her poor eyes affected by the strong wind.

"Stay still okay?"

You gently opened her eyelid and expose her eyeball on you before blewing a small puff of air from your mouth carefully to lessen the pain and remove the fine dust irritating it.

You did the same on the other one before you let go as she recovers her sight.

"Geez, you turned into a rockstar.", you chuckled and made the rest laugh when they got what you were pertaining at.

Jeongyeon's hair was roughly haggard and unorganized, raising some couple of strand above her length.

You fixed her hair willingly in your own service, stepping forward and closer as you began combing her hair too.

Now that she looks presentable again instead of having a "woke up like this"-like look, you were about to take out your fingers stroking her hair when your eyes matched at Jeongyeon who has her sight clear again, and the first thing she saw properly back was the view of your face that drowns her in captivity.

It was a daring staring contest between the two of you, rolling your black orbs around every spots of Jeongyeon's unreal beauty while she does the same at you undeniably attracting babyface look.

Your senses reawakened when the van beeped caused by the driver to signal all of you, breaking the stare you had with her.

Sana turned off her phone and placed it on her bag. "Are we good now guys? Jeongyeon-unnie?"

"Y-yeah, my eyes are okay now.", she smiled.

"You should look at yourself earlier Jeongyeon-ah, the wind turned you into a chicken for a while.", Nayeon burst out in laughter while Jeongyeon got annoyed at the teasing of the oldest.

"Yah! Im Nayeon you're just lucky you didn't had your hair messed up like me... because for sure yours would be a lot worse.", she spatted bitterly at her bestfriend.

All of you started walking through the van, with you and Jeongyeon following behind.

"Is that true oppa? Do I looked funny there?"

"Y-yeah, it did.", you admitted. Jeongyeon pouted sulkily, which worried you and warmed your soul effectively at the same time.

"... but that was only your hair I'm referring at. Mine's not agreeing on what Nayeon described you. Like I said... you resemble a rockstar, a rad one.", you patted her head and smiled softly.

"What's rad?"

"Being cool.", you elaborated.

Jeongyeon went fluttered, tilting her head away from you slowly as she lowered it and took her precious time to calm herself down.

You let her enter first before you took the turn, sitting comfortably on the seat then closed the sliding door so that the driver can now engage the wheels and roll down the road back to your homes.

"Thanks, YN.", she said to you which you appreciatingly took it with a smile.

Everyone went silent during the drive. You were currently vibing onto your J. Cole playlist when in a single twist of your head you saw that Jeongyeon is flicking her eyelids on and off, yawning intensifies with her head waving back and forth, sign that she's getting sleepy.

You quickly took action, grabbing her head by your hand and placed it atop of your shoulder.

Placing the other piece of your earphone to her ear, you let her hear the song you're listening into.

Lack of awareness, it was just in time for Jeongyeon to hear the smooth ending adlibs of 'A lot' by 21 Savage ft. J. Cole with a woman melodically sang the words:

"I love you for so many reasons~"

Jeongyeon felt like as if it was a message coming from you, glancing at your side profile smiling at how good the song is before she slowly fell asleep with a intensely growing blush in her cheek and a blissfully quivering heart done by you.

Its pride month and this is how I, an aro kpop stan, am choosing to celebrate and raise awareness

1. Anti romantic - txt

Says it in the title lol. I don't think the translated lyrics really are "anti-romantic" but it sure is fun to sing that line

2. Twit - hwasa

You give so much but why are you the only unhappy one?

I find that in a lot of love songs, especially in kpop, there's this obsession that makes me uncomfortable. Like "I only need you and I will change myself for you and without this relationship I'm depressed etc" and it feels very wrong. But I feel like this song is directly against that kind of romance and she's encouraging this guy to focus on something other than their relationship, and I really appreciate that

3. Friends - bts

You are my soulmate

I love love love love this song. It's a celebration of a deep friendship, and jimin and taehyung saying they're platonic soulmates like this is just amazing. I want what they have

4. What is love - twice

Every day, I felt love only in the movies

Or in books or dramas

Mmm, that’s how I learned love

Okay this song does put romance on a bit of a pedestal BUT I find it relatable, especially when I didn't know I was aro. Seeing romance in media but not experiencing it myself, I often wondered what it was like and thought that one day I would meet someone who made me feel that. And now I know I'm aro, I like this song cus yeah what is love and why does it make people feel this way? Please let me know I'm so confused

5. Happening - akmu

How can you make me

It’s made it all too serious

Idk if this is accurate but I interpret this song as being about unrequited feelings, like chanhyuks part is the person in love and suhyun is the person who doesn't feel the same. When people express romantic feelings for you when you don't reciprocate, it hurts and it's difficult to know what to say (especially when you're repulsed like me), and I feel like this song captures that attitude

6. How can I say - day6

I hate me now

I hate myself for not having butterflies

From some point, my heart doesn’t react anymore

Sometimes I hate being aro, I think we can all struggle with our queer identities especially when we are surrounded by a amatonormative heteronormative society, and I find it definitely happens when someone has a crush on me that I cannot reciprocate. This song is very relatable during those times

7. You don't shine anymore - stella jang

'Good friends are like the stars

You don't see in the bright sunshine

They shine in the dark'

While this song is overall sad I find these lyrics really beautiful. Any song that appreciates friendship like this instantly has a place in my heart. And shout out to her for having a lot of non romance songs with really good lyrics and a really unique sound, she deserves a lot more credit and love

8. Not spring, love, or cherry blossoms - high4 & iu

Everyone but me is in love,

Flowers bloom and sway before my eyes

But I want to hear something else

Something to sweep away everything

It wouldn't be my list without iu. I find the feeling of being surrounded by love, especially in songs, and feeling like you're missing out on something and being tired of hearing about it very relatable (and like with a lot of ius songs I love the nature imagery)

9. Dance on my own - loona

I don't need somеone to feel something

It's just me, mysеlf, and I love it

I just wanna dance, dance, dance on my own

We love songs that fight against the idea that you need a romantic partner. It may be more of a break up song but that's okay, I'll take what I can

10. Feel special - twice

One moment I feel like I’m nothing at all

Like no one would notice if I were gone

But then when I hear you calling me

I feel loved, I feel so special

Another song about the importance of friendship and platonic love. I know the members didn't write the lyrics, but it was written about their relationships with each other and how they help each other, and I think that's really beautiful

And tbh I appreciate just any song that isn't about romance because most songs are about romance and I'm tired, it's like a pleasant surprise when I find lyrics that are about anything else
