Ahhh I love the entire fic so much but especially chapter 2. It's become something of a comfort reread once in a while because of how hard I relate to Connor's feelings of anxiety, they're described sooo accurately. And his reaction to finally getting relief from that is so friggin cute, with the added bonus of flustering hank in the process 😆

Okay I'm up, feelin good, so now it's time for a second sectuin of art-dumping:

Forkface.

It is just mainly Forky, but hear me out:

While I was gone, I began thinking: What if I made a VR Model of Forky (my design)? (I have no 3dmodel-making experience mind you XD)

So I began scheming!!

Firstly, I made these reference sheets for Forky!!

(Also Forky's colors for each different form) (I'll add IDs for each)

I imagined for this model for Forky that they'd also have a few accessories/abilities:

Firstly, their face plate does open, and they do have an option for a nightcap ...I still haven't gotten a design idea for those, however... (also I did imagine for the hat a bit though, if they wear it with the rays, 7 of the rays - 3 big, 4 small - would go down for the hat to fit mostly, instead of stabbing through the hat. It'd also have a poofy end, not a bell)

Secondly, Forky would have an option to pull out a clown horn!! Yes I did get this idea from them playing Lethal Company

(I know I shared the image here already, but I'll share it again just to show what I mean again:)

I also decided they'd have:

A sign (and markers)!! This was also based on them playing Lethal Company

But ye they can write down on a sign what they want to say!!

(since I originally drew it based on a Lethal Company Moment, here's those drawings:)

(I did also make a third sign one for them, but more as a joke, rather than a reference: Smug)

(yes this one is a blank one that can be filled in, I did like... 10 examples, I just kinda don't feel like posting them all) (some examples though were one that just said "*Breathing Noises*", one that said "Balls.", and another that was just a drawing of among us)

If this did exist in VrChat (which I don't even know if a model w/ a whiteboard would work in actuality), they'd probably be able to change the color of the marker they use. The whiteboard could also be dropped & picked up by others

Finally (I think finally?), I may or may not have imagined them to have another form based on this video (which I kept watching too much cus I found it both cool and hilarious):

They have a nightmare/dream form

(honestly I forgot the stars on the pants cus I didn't feel like coloring it so I did quickly color & forgot the pant stars)

But yeah this form of Forkface only would appear in people's dreams/nightmares (lore-wise), but as a model would just be another form they can swap to. (they can also still change color palettes in this form, but I didn't color that in) (I also may or may not have imagined for the dream form I made that Forky can actually breath a faint lavender-colored gas to cause someone to dream or to have a nightmare... like Catnap...)

I believe that's it, I don't know, but that was basically all I imagined for if my Forky design had a Vrchat Model

OC Tag Game!

Ooo thanks for tagging me @kittynomsdeplume & @cleverblackcat!! This took a while to get to but it was very fun!

Favorite OC: Evil question to start. I can't possibly choose unless I set some limits for myself so I'm going to cheat and say my most popular OC. I have the most art of her by no fault of my own. Velaneth Surana is my canon HoF and Warden Commander. Vela is a very open person: never lies, has no body shame, and loves to learn about other people and where they’ve come from. She walks into every hostile situation with her best foot forward trying to make friends and allies.

Newest OC: I’m slowly congealing my ideas about Orlagh Trevelyan because I’ve been imagining what the different cultures of the Freemarches look like - especially on the coast where trade is frequent. She’s from Ostwick of course and trained as a Templar as a youth but spent summers at a monastery with her aunt in Wycome which I imagine a bit like Morocco. I’ve been staring at my Pinterest boards imagining her lonely days growing up and what it means for her to leave her walls behind and be thrust into this new organization with all these people and their differing ideals. I'm particularly interested in exploring her being a templar but having some latent magic that has been tied up in her templar abilities so long she didn't realize it was ever there.

Oldest OC: In DA my oldest OC is Topaz Brosca from my original run of origins. The one where my save got deleted right before the Landsmeet lol rip. I've recently revisited her and I'm falling in love with her again. She's a hot trans girl and stabby rogue and she falls in love with the surface world immediately. My oldest OC ever though... might be a self insert hobbit character I made for myself as a child before I knew what fandom or fanfiction was lol! I think her name was Charlie? my memory is BAD but I know that's a name I loved as a kid.

Meanest OC: Szadrine Aeducan is my final origin from DAO to get an OC and I'm slowly growing deeply obsessed. She’s involved in (literal) cutthroat Orzammar politics and ends up skipping the warden bit after the whole betrayal and exile thing. She simply deserts at Ostagar. I think she should end up kicking ass in Orlais because she would be so good at the Game.

Softest OC: Bearnard Cousland is a soft, sweet, bookish baby-gay who would rather bury himself in his research in a library than seek glory or fight battles or do politics. Bearn is the second son so he’s gotten away with avoiding some of that but of course he has to attend his lessons and participate in the tourneys. His scholarly work lends him some political savvy since he’s intimately familiar with Ferelden’s history, but he’s most interested in lost texts and translating ancient works. He never had good gay role models growing up and thinks of himself as homely and forgettable, so he never felt like that was an option for him, but Maker does he ever pine lol!

Most Aloof/Standoffish OC: Gotta be Irene Amell. She's a real bitch with resting murder face. Incredibly unapproachable, intimidating Domme energy. Tends to default dislike people and keep to herself, prefering to slink around and eavesdrop than talk to people for info. She’s very protective and loving toward her close friends and lovers, but it’s hard to get close in the first place.

Dumbest OC: Myrna Hawke is a smart woman, she's an accomplished mage, enjoys reading, quick witted, but she has zero self-awareness and has a very hard time even understanding how she feels, much less how other people feel about her. She’s absolutely clueless and fully blindsided by anyone’s interest & gets tongue tied and stupid when she’s horny. She’s also very impulsive and acts before she thinks things through which leads to getting into a lot of dumb shit.

Smartest OC: There are excellent contenders here: Bearn with his book smarts and Topaz with her street smarts, but I want to say Ithadhea Mahariel because even though they are incredibly dense when it comes to interpersonal relations, their wealth of traditional knowledge from their clan is incredible. They are not really a people person, usually quiet and solitary, but they took to hunting like they were born for it and eagerly learned everything in the realm of woodcraft and survival. They know all their clan's stories by heart and and know resources by seasons in a way that is part of their internal clock. I think this kind of generational knowledge probably outstrips the scope of any of my other OC's knowledge.

OC I’d Be Friends With: Edric Cadash is so laid back and friendly I think he’d be one of the easiest to make friends with. I want to have tea and gossip with him and have that turn into late night drinking and telling stories by the fire. Vela would be an instant friend as well; she wants to befriend everyone and she'd have an easy time with me!

I had the most bizarre of dreams last night. I dreamt that Joyce had been captured along side Hopper by the Russians except instead of being put into a gulag, she was forced to be with/marry the warden (high ranking official??) of Kamchatku. And if she pulled any funny business, Hopper would get hurt and vice versa so the two are trying to figure out how to save the other without being caught. I’m almost tempted to write it but I dunno, just thought I’d share what an oddity my brain came up with lol!

Update: I've decided to write it. I can't stop thinking about it and I'm just so excited lol.

When you’re a part of a small fandom and have been for years and years and know so many of the cosplayers/have cosplayed yourself so you’ve seen like 90% of the cosplay photos in the fandom and --

And you’re also in the RP community for the fandom which is also very small and you’ve been in it for years and you see (you’ve seen this more than once with different cosplayers/characters over the years) people edit their chosen RP faceclaims over the few cosplay photos in the fandom.

Then they turn around and tell people not to steal any of their writings/art/edits/etc.

How does one nicely say please stop or please practice what you preach? You didn’t watch friends put money and sweat and time into a costume then put the same into getting good photos of it for someone to take the costume into photoshop to paste another face and filters over.

Everyday I am mad that there is a not a Greek mythology show that’s in the format of The Office / Modern Family. DO YOU KNOW HOW GOOD THAT WOULD BE 

Like c’mon. You’d have Hera and Zeus as the parents. And then you have all of Zeus’s kids. You’d have the younger gods, Hermes, Dionysus, Apollo and Artemis as the teenagers and then Ares, Athena, and Hephaestus as the young adults. And then you’d have the six kids of Kronos as the uncles and aunts. And Kronos is just this really annoying racist grandpa who thinks that Titans are better than gods. And Rhea divorced him years ago but they all still come to family reunions. Hermes annoys the heck out of Apollo (stole his cows when he was a baby in the myths). And Artemis only hangs out with Aunt Hestia and Athena. Hermes and Dionysus would be chaotic brothers. And Athena and Ares play brutal Monopoly/Risk games. And Aphrodite is the matchmaking MILF who married Hephaestus for his money but is actually sleeping with Ares. And everyone knows that Zeus cheats and Hera constantly tries to sabotage him and his kids. Maybe she constantly tries to murder him, but it never works or something-

BUT EITHER WAY I WANT IT. Like Hollywood makes a hundred terrible movies a year. Just scrap those and use the money make this. Please.

An idea for an animated series I had and I'm reviving now

Name: GUARDIANS OF TEMPRICIA!

Setting: A city called Tempricia. The city has colonial Brazil architechture, and the technology is some of a steampunk kinda thing but has some in betweens. Magic exists and is really proeminent in the world.

In Tempricia, there lives 4 heroes, a family of sorts, inside a mechanic's workshop.

THESE HEROES ARE:

FRAN (short for Francine) a mechanic who specializes in robotics and smashing shit with her mechanical boots. She won't spend a penny of hers in anything but the necessary, but still, she will help those in need and will do anything to protect the people she loves, even breaking a lotta laws in the process.

Automaton Lancer #254 (or AL for short), is an old automaton (that's just what they call robots) from a kingdom wich fell millenia ago with a busted memory core, all his memories before being found by Fran are either murky or lost. Other than being the only automaton who can feel, he is also a pacifist.

Braza, the teenage fire elemental, he's really timid and sometimes freezes (hehe, fire freezing) when talking to strangers. He's got a lot of repressed feelings, specially anger, wich sometimes can make him explode into his true elemental form. Even though he has this emotional bagage, he strives to be a great warrior and to use his powers for good. (He's doing his best ok?)

And at last, Jacy, the prodigy, she has natural purple hair, and unusual, almost unnatural magic powers, even stronger than of the greatest wizards in the city, with some sorts of time or space warping (she can also do normal magic). She is really young, and is to be taken special care (though who in this family doesn't need special care?) specially since she can't control her powers, that's why Fran made a special amulet for her to not just start messing with space time out of nowhere, but sometimes, big threats call for great risks!

concept: young upstart vigilante who fights crime bc no one else will, but they're painfully inept at fighting. they have no reflexes and quite sincerely should've died at the first mugging they interfered with. the reason they're still alive is because they're actually invulnerable, so they are a clumsy, inexperienced, yet unstoppable force.
