Okay so I've had this how to train your dragon x danny phantom hc rotating in my head for a while.

I'm not very sure of the exact setting but the time period is around the same time as the first movie, aka the viking era. Amity Park is just another village located farther south of the Barbaric Archipelago. South enough that they don't really see dragons. Like ever. (I hc that most dragons live near the poles or in the hidden world with only the rare isolated nest/lone dragon scattered around the middle)

And like I said, Amity Park, or rather Amity Village, is just another village. Or it would be, if it weren't for the Fentons.

You see, there are a lot of respectable resonable occupations you could take up in a village— you could be a farmer, you could be a healer, you could be a baker or a fisherman or a blacksmith. The Fentons however, decided that they were going to make life hell for everyone and not go with any of those. Oh no no no, instead, they decided to be ✨dragon hunters✨

Which would be a cool ass job to have. You know, if dragons actually existed. (Okay they do exist in this universe but keep in mind that nobody in Amity or surrounding villages has ever laid eyes on a dragon. Only mention of dragons they ever get are from crazy looking travellers that cannot be trusted.)

So the Fentons are dragon hunters. The best in town. Yes, they were the only ones in town. Their research was based on the typical dragon hate you see in the movie and their research was even more inaccurate than the kind you'd get from the pre hiccup-Dragon manual. They do know a few things, mind you. Also getting information about dragons when you have next to no sources and no internet is hard don't blame them.

The Fenton kids however, are fairly normal. Jasmine Fenton was exceptionally brilliant, and well on her way to being an exceptional healer, while her younger brother Danny was looking to be somewhat of an astronomer.

And then the Fenton parents mess that up too. They had heard of a ritual, many many years ago, one which opened the portal to the hidden realm of dragons, and had apparently sworn to spend the rest of their lives trying to complete the ritual and get into this hidden world. And they do exactly that. Several years of failed attempts later, they finally come up with a version of the ritual that they're totally sure will work and are so so excited about it. It's the only thing Danny and Jazz hear about from them for a solid week.

And then the long awaited day comes. Maddie and Jack finally have everything prepared for the ritual, they do everything properly but it just doesn't work. They try and try and try several times but it just isn't working. Eventually they just dejectedly go for a walk to cool themselves off.

And then Danny starts feeling sad about his parents ritual not working and vents to his friends, aka Sam and Tucker about it. And they're all like, hey we should go check it out see if we can fix it like we have any knowledge about portals or magic or rituals. And then Danny steps into the ritual ring to get a better look at it and they're just joking around and trying to figure out what's wrong with it.

But then the portal started glowing a toxic green. Turns out that Danny's parents did everything perfectly. They just didn't know about one thing.

The portal needs a human sacrifice to activate.

Steph was freaking out. She was pregnant! She had a month long relationship with a guy, they slept together (multiple times), and now she was pregnant.

How long should she keep this from her (adopted))family. They all were detectives but that was usually focused on a case and not her. There was no use hiding this from Alfred or Cass. They would see through her in an instant. Luckily the rest of the family was focused on their own lives, with B being pulled into a JL meeting lead by Constantine. Something about a newly conseived demigod or something she never listens to Constantine, barely anyone does.

She was in the middle of planning her 9 months of pregnancy and lying, when suddenly Batman and Constantine magically teleport into her apartment. " According to the ritual This is the girl whose is pregnant with the demigod" Constantine states while being completly ignored by the two. Steph is staring at Batman who is slightly twitching. "Well shit" she groans.

Another magical ritual later and her previous... Boyfriend? Fling? Her month long, one night stand is standing there in a magic circle. She rushes to speak before her family can, "Danny you jerk! You got me pregnant and didn't even tell me you were a god?!?"

Another Ghost Dragon Prompt? Indeed.

The Ward had made a mistake. Had stolen something that had caused the very Skies to lash out, entire worlds at risk from their actions.

Time Itself shrieked in rage at the loss of Its child, or at least that's how every magic user- and the speedsters, pale and shaken and looking sick- had described it.

Someone had taken the young prince of the Infinite, and it was not the Tyrant King, long since sealed away, that lead the charge, but the Queen Regent that many had long since forgotten.

Many forgot that it was not the Dark who courted Time, but Time who courted the Dark. That It was just, if not more so, merciless as Its partner, and would Devour worlds should Its child- still with newdeath soft scales- was not returned.

Which meant that for the heroes, there was now a Clock ticking down ever so quietly. They had to take care of what was a government branch, had to deal with consequences of going over the law, or their World would End in dragon fire.

You know how the sky changes color when Danny transforms?

So! This is just something that came to me literally 5 seconds ago.

When Danny Transforms, the Sky and color pallet of the world around him changes as well right? The Sky turns Green, and the buildings turn Purple and the such, and I like to think that the everyone feels a sense of Death when it happens.

Now imagine this scene.

Danny had moved to Gotham, and he was making sure to stay under the Radar. He didn't want to reveal that he was a Ghost, since the GIW was still semi active.

But right now, he was about to he attacked by Joker, so he really didn't have a choice.

He transformed.

The sky turned green, the buildings turned purple, and everyone in the vicinity felt a sense of pure Death in the area.

Off to the side, one of the Bats saw that, and mumbled to themselves, "Oh my God, he has a Domain Expansion."

"Please stop asking how I got in here," the white haired kid said, annoyance laced in his voice, "All I want to know is if any of you can do detective work in the supernatural world!"

Constantine just barely opened his mouth before the kid turned on him, "Not you! You have terrible reviews!"

Bruce tensed as Lazarus green eyes locked on him, "How about you? You're the worlds greatest detective, right? I know you probably won't take gold as payment since Bruce Wayne is your sugar daddy, but I can offer up information on the Infinite Realms instead!"

Batman, calm and collected even as Green Arrow and Flash snickered from across the room, "Infinite Realms?"

Phantom grinned, "Is that an agreement? Cause Prince Psaro could really use your help. He has so many questions, and the answers may save his life. You want to save the life of a teenage boy surrounded by demons and monsters, don't you?"

Bruce stared at the teen, not looking away even with Constantine motioning not to agree, Bruce nodded.

And in a moment, they were gone. They reappeared in a grand hall with a ruby eyed teenager looking impossibly small from his place on the massive throne. Silver hair shined oddly in the light of the purples flames that danced in the sconces, making the boy seem more ethereal.

"Hey Psaro!" The white haired kid from before greeted, "I brought you a detective like you asked. Don't forget you have to teach me magic now!" The first teen vanished without a trace leaving Batman and what he now recognized as an angsty goth alone together.

As it turns out Psaro had many questions and offered to pay him a generous amount in gold each day.

Some of his questions include:

What kingdom was my human mother a princess of?

Why can't I remember key information from my childhood, such as my brothers very existence?

I was framed for the murder of all of the "Chosen Heros" loved ones. How do I prove im innocent before he comes to take off my head?

Why do Rose's tears shatter?

Is there a way to stop his younger brother from destroying the world without caging him or killing him?

Ect.

Bruce has his work cut out for him, but between the mysterious white haired kid popping in now and then to give him cryptic conversations, the team on litteral monsters he was given to defend himself with, and his access to royal libraries and vaults this might not be so bad

To be fair he had just gotten off of a shift and was ready to become one with his shitty mattress.

Danny thought he made himself pretty clear.

So you can’t blame him when some bobo the clown knock-off tried to start some shit while he was walking home and did not heed his advice.

A fun fact he learned a couple days later is that in an average human’s mouth there’s about 6 billion types of bacteria and several of those types are deadly if not treated properly at a hospital.

And Danny was very much not an average human.

Let’s just say he started to sweat bullets when he found a frontline article about the death of the clown prince.

Suddenly that feeling of someone watching him wasn’t being written off as paranoia.

Apparently, Shazam was friends with a dragon.

No one, not even the core members, knew of this. But that fact was prominently displayed when they were fighting off an invasion.

One lead by the apparent Ghost King, who was known for his strength and tyranny, who declared war on humanity after having been summoned by cultists. His ghostly army being fought off for days on end, being lead by a general known as the Fright Knight, before he himself, decided to grace the battlefield with his presence.

Superman, Wonder Woman, Shazam, Zatanna. Every heavy hitter they could spare was fighting against the Ghost King, the Fright Knight being fought against by Batman, Green Lantern, Constantine with the Flash keeping mostly to fending off the giant army along with various other heroes.

It was a tough fight, fighting tooth and nail to not give an inch of ground.

Until, from a portal came a large eastern dragon with glowing green eyes, glowing white scales and mane that looked Majestic as it did deadly. The heroes weren't optimistic enough to think it was help, not for them, but rather for the invading force.

Of course, such they were surprised when instead of fighting any of them, the being instead rammed its body straight into the Ghost King, knocking him back and releasing Shazam from his grip, and all the way from across the battlefield did he stare at the Fright Knight, and glared.

The Fright Knight stood down.

The Ghost King got up and shrugged off the attack, running a hand through his hair as he stared as the dragon was hovering around Shazam rather protectively and, with a simple raise of his hand, the entire army ceased their attack.

The dragon seemed to shift, long body shortening as he transformed into a more humanish form, tail and horns still present, with a crown floating above his head, he crossed his arms and stared down the Ghost King who, for his credit, simply stared back.

The stare went on for a while, the air seemingly more awkward rather than tense. Then, the draconic humanoid grabbed onto the nearby Shazam, various heroes tensing, before placing the man in front of him, putting his chin down on his head, and then starts yelling at the King for waging war on humanity just because he made a human friend.

The Ghost King, who just a few minutes ago was waging war on humanity, seemed more of a tired father, rather than the mad tyrant raging on the battlefield. He just stayed silent, taking all of the yelling as if this was the usual before, as the (apparent) prince was catching his breath, he stated his reasoning rather calmly.

He just wanted to test and accurately gauge the strength of the Champion of Magic, stating that only the strongest would have the right to stand alongside his son.

The Prince immediately called bullshit.

And the Ghost King agreed, he really did just want to wage war, though he wished it would have lasted longer, the mortal warriors (and Demi-goddess) proved themselves to be quite the challenging foes.

A few minutes later, the Ghost King was leaving, calling off the war and sending his soldiers back to the zone. Before the king himself left, however, he directed a thumbs up at all those who fought him in direct combat, then left, the Fright Knight and Batman were in a stare off, both silent and instead seemed to be having a conversation with their eyes than words.

Then they grunted at each other, nodded, and the fright Knight left.

In the League room, the Ghost Prince was apologizing for the behavior of his father, more prominently to Shazam the most.

If Danny Phantom was set in a modern D&D world.

Tucker is a Gunslinger / Artificer multiclass, picking up old tech from Danny's parents and improving it.

Dani is the princess of ghosts and was so excited for Danny to join her and become her actual big brother.

Danny originally found Dani's skull in Vald's dungeons, he brought her to life with his awakening ghost powers (sorcerer).

Sam would be a Warlock whose patron was Danny but has moved to Dani as they work forward to save their friend/brother.

(these are just some ideas I had while working on the piece)
