something something a constant of jordan existing in a world to become stronger- driven by a need to serve and protect those he cares the most about- but forever being cursed to be the root of his own destruction, and that no matter what he does, has some hand in loss of those who he swore he could never harm.

I think it's very fitting that my favorite extroverts who both put on a mask of not caring about anyone but themselves but really have a giant heart, are emotionally intelligent, have a two-toned theme, and are extremely flirtatious towards grumpy, short kings share the same birthday (April 1).
If I had a nickel for everytime I fixated on adorable twinks with these traits, it would be two times, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Happy (belated) birthday, you lovely creatures!

'To Catch a Changeling' was the first episode where Jim actually kills someone (not counting goblins), and I've always wished there had been some kind of focus on the moral ramifications he experienced because of that.
Because there's no way he just went from being unable to kill a gnome, a creature considered a common pest, to killing a person with no afterthoughts other than: "oh man! I killed our only evidence of changelings in arcadia!"
Though I guess he could've just been doing a shit ton of compartmentalizing as well as justifying it to himself with the fact she was going to kill both him and Toby. But still, there's no way he didn't feel at least somewhat guilty.

TERMINAL. BABY. FACE.
Another silly Vault 666 comic, because every time I draw something with Lucifer in it his stupid baby face bugs me.
It drives him crazy in-universe too, though. He can’t grow facial hair to save his life (only patchy little wisps of almost-invisible blonde peach fuzz). He is 5'2″ and has a baby face and it is SO HARD to get people to take him seriously sometimes. He likes wearing his lab coat outside of his workshop because people still tend to associate “scientist” with “authority” and he will take whatever help he can get at this point.
Doesn’t help that most Wastelanders age like milk due to exposure to elements, poor nutrition, tons of environmental hazards, and radiation everywhere.
Text translation below cut:
Charlie: Bye guys, be good!
Lucifer: Have fun, girls!
Angel: Must’ve been tough, raisin’ Charlie.
Lucifer: Huh? ...Not really. The vault was safe, and Lilith was SUPER hands-on.
Angel: Well, yeah, but she’s in her 20s now, right? You must’ve been crazy young when she was born.
Lucifer: Uhh... I’m 47.
Angel: NO FUCKIN’ WAY!
Arrow to Alastor: 36 years old

First line: a close up gif of hands carving straight lines in a stone ball, a gif of two people using an axe and mallet to chop a long rectangle piece of stone into pieces and, a gif of someone using a large chisel and hammer to shave off the corner of a block of stone.
Second line: a gif of someone using a chisel and heavy mallet to cut a large block of stone, the chip flies up towards the ceiling. oh no Im into feederism and those lines of crocodile is making me go FGHRDTJDGRFHRTHD
especially if its forced feederism 🤤
It will be in my mind 24/7 since I love crocodile so much and THIS is just perfect,,,
references this post
Not going to lie "But, I suppose there's no harm in fattening you up some more first" was the reason I had to share the screenshots on here... Excuse me, Sir? Could you be any more on the nose? Jeez 😵💫 I'm not really into feederism but weight gain can be really cute when done gently/with condescension. I love the humiliation aspect of it; the thought of being bare and naked and insecure underneath that steely gaze like in this post... And Crocodile just hits the spot 😔
tw.weight gain (a bit of wg based humiliation), yandere, fat + fem reader, had to answer this on mobile because our connection is busted again, sorry
For me, it's just the whole package, you know? That big, serious man who organized a whole crime syndicate to topple a country and get his hand on an ancient weapon, who says he's never trusted anyone, who was mocking the people of Alabasta from the very start - that same man deserves something nice and soft and sweet, don't you think? He loves his luxuries, big and small and in-between, and you are just that; an indulgence, something soft to come home to. He doesn't need to trust you if you aren't allowed to leave, if you are his well kept little secret, a little basement wife - because you'll never get out, anyway. It's entirely selfish and it makes him a bit vulnerable, yes, but that man thinks he can't fail. His ego is somewhere up among the stars, and he's arrogant enough to twist your predicament around into something else entirely - that you should be grateful you get to live such a lavish life, that he has done you nothing but favors. He's mean. He's cold. And he's cruel.
But he also takes a certain pride in your care - from clothes to accessories, from the entertainment he provides you with to the food you eat. It's all curated, all crafted to suit you and flatter him, to mold you into something he can enjoy even more.
And seeing you gain weight? Makes his heart sing in a way that's even darker, even more possessive.
It means you're thriving in his hands, makes your lap softer and gives him more to touch, defile and mark. And it's an opportunity. It's cute how you fluster and shake when you finally gather the courage to tell him your clothes don't fit anymore and it's even cuter when he has you try them on for him and gets to see your mortification at having to undress and squeeze and struggle in front of him, under his steely gaze. After all, those clothes were expensive - and carefully picked out, too - so let him see if what you're saying is true. He gets to take the whole show in, gets to humiliate you subtly while you're reminded of who holds the reins in this fucked up excuse of a relationship. Forget about the injustice of this and think about how you want your captor to like you or else you'll be turned into gator food. He's not going to tell you that he loves the way you've filled out, how he can rest his head on a heavier chest and lap - he holds the cards in this moment and they'll have you on your best behavior.
It's about humiliation and keeping you small and about making you feel like he needs to like you. It's a game, one with a purpose; to make you more pliant, eager and more dependent than you already are. That man has layers and he can play his tricks like few others can - and he'll make sure you'll never truly glean the extent of his intentions. And affections.

I forgot that Eirika is actually pretty sheltered. Honestly, I'd argue she's about as sheltered as Corrin was, just the latter was forced into seclusion as opposed to Eirika more or less being raised like you'd expect a stereotypical princess to be raised.
Just the first two chapters establish that, while not incompetent, Eirika's incredibly inexperienced to the point where she doesn't gain people's faith in her decisions until her stubbornness comes out. Even Tana, who's arguably even more coddled than Eirika is, thinks it's too dangerous to try and do recon with Ephraim.
It's kind of fascinating. Knowing what I know of her character from future events, it's really interesting to see that she's kind of a 'pure canvas' so to speak. She adapts quickly, but I assume that's mostly because she hasn't had much life experience beyond what's expected of her or hanging out with other royal kids. When you live a great life with no expectation that it'd suddenly turn for the worst, you don't really have aspirations or desire for things to change at a base level. Celica and Corrin have had stifling circumstances since they were young, and they're kind and peace seeking despite that. Eirika is kind because joy and comfort was her world, before it was ripped away from her.
The closest character comparison would honestly be Marth in that aspect, but even then, she differs in that Marth had a good few years offscreen after Altea was overrun to understand how a war torn world functions, whereas Eirika's journey is what happens when you make an entire story out of learning those lessons.
I love her character very much, and I only just restarted the game!

okay i'm feeling talkative right now so i'll tell a dumb story about myself: one time years ago when i was out with a friend i stumbled upon some guy's wedding ring, a thick yellow/white gold band with diamonds on it. lucky for them the guy's name and surname was engraved on the inside. unlucky for them the guy was an active member of that district's grey wolves charter according to his facebook so i took the executive decision to not return the ring
anyway i was just reorganizing my stuff right. my eyes landed on the thing and i wondered what the guy was up to, as one does, so i looked him up. he and two of his buddies are in jail for kidnapping, assault and threats of sexual violence towards some other guy. what the fuck
