On the other hand, Lucifer is big on fashion and always makes sure he looks like he is making a statement, so he always bring syou back clothes which he has a tailor fix to your exact curve

He always tries to match with you but Lilith tells him off because she doesnt want you to match whatever santa clause aesthetic he has going on

The public loves you, marked as the newest and hottest addition tot heir relationship, which they encourage and tell you about

Lilith will bring you to her magazine shoots and insist only you can style her makeup and hair, though unfortunately they always draw the line at clothes

She thinks you'd dress her better than whatever they do

Charlie is also happy you wormed your way into their hearts, because you are a lot less intensive than her biological parents, and she appreciates how much you visit her

When you suggest Charlie join you and Lilith for some getaways, they both love the idea, so now you get some mothers to daughter time

Author's Note - Back to writing I am actually writing from the airport atm because I am heading back home for christmas! I will have a ton of time to write during that time, since I have now wrapped up my exams. Lucky me! I am 3 pina coladas in and ready for takeoff 🛫

no, thankfully! none of them are really my style. similar to you, i prefer more neutral (and especially darker) covers, which don't seem to be very popular in the hobonichi line-ups of recent years. i didn't really like any of the covers at all this year. i know the bright and busy designs are very popular with a lot of people but it does suck that there isn't a touch more variety, or at least a slightly more balanced approach year-to-year 🥲

comfortable in my filofax atm though so relieved to have no temptation lol

thank you so much for writing mandatory family reunion. i just reread it for the eighth time. i think im going to dedicate my life to life to reading your other sbi fics until you update again. also; do you have any tips for committing to fics and not leaving them half-finished?

ahhhh that’s so sweet glad you enjoyed! As for writing fics, having it be your special interest really helps. But for more general advice on finishing:

-Don’t stick to just one story. Which seems counter intuitive! But inevitably you’re going to hit a snag in one story. So instead of stopping writing at all, switch projects. Writing involves a whole bunch of thinking, and stuff needs time to percolate in the back of your head. But having a small project to work on in the mean time keeps you engaged in the writing process, gives you practice, makes you feel like you’re making progress, and allows time to work out the other story. I personally have 1-2 main projects, Fault and MFR, and then rotate a couple back burner stories that I work on whenever I get inspiration and fully expect to have very slow progress and possibly never finish. Short stories, one shots, hell even just writing little one off scenes that don’t go anywhere. It’s a way to keep writing fun and thus you’re more likely to continue working on the stuff you’re trying to complete. Don’t feel bad if there’s breaks between working on your main project. Writing involves a lot of thinking and it takes time to do that.

-Devoting time to do that thinking also significantly helps. When you’re falling asleep can be a good time to rotate stories in your head. Could also be if you’re walking from place to place, or brushing your teeth, or other little gaps in the day. Even if you’re not physically writing, it’s still part of the process and can make it easier when you actually sit down to write because you know what scene you’re most excited to work on. Also, talking over your story idea with a friend is a great way to stay motivated if you can get over the mortifying ordeal of being known. You can bounce ideas off them, and other people’s investment in a project can be a great motivator to finish. Like legit a single ao3 comment once stopped me from my plan to abandon a fic. Reminding yourself why you (and other people) like the story makes it easier to want to continue.

-Keeping a rough outline of what you envision for the story can give you a road map to how close to done you are and where to go next. Just like you can hop between projects, I find jumping around the plot time line to write what scene I’m most interested in atm keeps me going instead of writing everything in order. Though, all writers have different degrees of plot planning, so that depends on your style.

-Art! I’m an artist, and while writing definitely fuels what I draw, I find doodling cool scenes I want to write really inspires me to keep going. This sorta falls under the same category of continuing to think about the story and motivating you to finish. -I found keeping a writing journal has improved how I view my writing. Basically, I’ll jot down a bullet point list of scenes worked on that week/month. Writing is a very slow process, so seeing a timeline of actual progression on a story makes it feel like I’m actually getting more out of my head and onto paper. I also jot down what ideas for scenes I came up with since that’s also part of writing, and might include a chill no stakes writing goal for that period, like work on X or Y project, or a particular scene. Sometimes my goal is just ‘write at least one sentence’. I give it lots of leeway, and accept that the muse may just be somewhere else that week. And if the goal isn’t met, no sweat! Life can get busy at times and it’s more important that you aren’t beating yourself up if it’s been awhile since you last touched a project. Forcing yourself to write a scene that isn’t ready won’t result in a good scene or an happy writer. Switch projects, give yourself time to think about it, take care of yourself, etc.

And, legitimately, don’t be afraid to abandon a piece. Maybe you’ll come back to it, maybe you won’t. It can feel disheartening to feel like you can’t seem to finish a project, but unfinished pieces also do a lot for you: they hone your craft, allow you a creative outlet, give you scenes that could potentially be reworked for later pieces, and most importantly were hopefully fun to write! Story crafting is a hobby that should bring you joy, not frustration and shame.

Like, I have stories that will never see the light of day and are just so I can have fun and poke it with a stick occasionally. I’m 100% confident in saying that every author will have tenfold the number of unfinished wips compared to complete works. That’s just part of the creative process: exploring different worlds to find the one you want to write.

Perhaps a fic might never get finished, but in the wise words of Technoblade: “if you enjoy it, it’s not time wasted, no?”

(Now, I think he was talking about murdering people, but the point still stands.)

Random question, but what do you use to make your soeech/effect bubbles and text?

Yeah, sure! I use good ol' clip studio art program, so- been enjoying the writing pen asset for writing out the words when I don't feel like typing

The fancy line pen asset is no longer available unfortunately, but that's how I've been making my bubbles atm. And if the layer property tab isn't next to the layer tab, it can found in the 'window' setting button thingy at the top.

Canvas style brush also got dead availability-wise but yeah-squid talk still available!

Tim:

Tim isn't the most crafty or handy when it comes to things like art, so he's always admired everything you're able to do. You can impress him so easily with every piece of art you can make, regardless of if it's just little cartoon doodles or a fully painted landscape, he thinks all of it just looks so cool, and he always tells you as much. Tim is the type to take your pieces and hang them up around the house so that when he's going about his day he can look around and just admire the wonderful pieces of art you've made over the years. Tim really does love and admire every single piece you've created, and it just makes him feel so happy to have a partner that so freely expresses themselves through something like art, and maybe, just maybe, one day he might ask you to help him dabble in art as well.

Brian:

Brian absolutely thinks that it's amazing, the various types of art that you can do. My Brian really enjoys woodworking as a hobby, and I can absolutely see him trying to get the two of you to combine forces on something, with him designing and carving something out of wood and you painting across the finished piece in whatever style you think fits it best. Honestly, I can see that as a recurring thing, the two of you working hard together, relaxing, and ridding yourselves of stress through your hobbies. Brian really admires your craftmanship and all the little things you do, and he gushes about them constantly, really excited to be able to witness you at work. Part of the reason why he loves when you paint over his woodworking is also that he feels so happy to be able to give you space and area to express yourself through your art right alongside him, it truly makes him so incredibly happy.

Liu/Sully:

Liu and Sully also both adore all of the art that you create. Liu himself has a knack for drawing and keeps sketchbooks and art supplies constantly stocked up in his bedroom. He enjoys drawing realism and landscapes, and it's absolutely something he'd love to do with you, especially for a date idea, the two of you sitting out in an open field drawing and painting your surroundings together, the thought just sounds so heavenly to him. Sully, on the other hand, is not as artistically inclined, and is amazed at what the two of you are able to do together, if not a bit jealous that he isn't as artistic as Liu. Sully really, really loves watching you at work, as he finds it so incredible the things you're able to do, and he could sit for hours curled up by your side amazed at every line and stroke you place. Both of them are incredibly fond of your artistic skills, and you'll never be short on praise from either of them.

i’ve actually been rereading an old favorite! it’s invisible monsters (the original version, not remix, cuz that’s the one i have on hand atm). i like it enough to make a salespitch to ya

here’s the opening lines from the og version:

and if that seems like your jam, the rest of the book will probably deliver. and because the locked tomb is the only thing im for sure everyone here has a shared reference of, i’ll say this: if you enjoyed the non-linear and unreliable narrator style of htn, this book does something similar and you might like it (except beware, the narrator’s personality skews a lot closer to ianthe than harrow)

our narrator is a bit fucked up (morally, mentally, and physically) and you have to sift through her version of things (which is told out of order, out of time, and out of touch) to get the truth. it’s a book that makes you work to get the story, but very satisfying pay off when it all finally clicks (imho)

also if you think a roadtrip needs to involve, at a minimum:

- at least three felonies

- the most morally reprehensible people you’ve ever met

- homoeroticism

Summary: You find out that Technoblade will be dying soon. You decide to finally confess your love to him whilst spending your last moments with him.

You walked into Technoblade’s cabin, seeing him looking out the window. His cape and crown were discarded, leaving his beautiful form on full display. His hair wasn’t in its usual braid, it was fully down, framing his scarred face. The man had heard the door open, but didn’t move or look towards the sound, knowing very well who was here.

You walked next to him, staring at the same view. He had been watching the sunset. It reminded you of him.

“Y/N.” His monotone voice broke the silence. The air was tense. He could tell you were holding back tears.

“I’m dying very soon.”

“I know.” He noted how your voice broke, and when he looked down at you, he saw how watery your eyes were. You refused to look at him, knowing it would instantly break the dam. It hurt him knowing how much pain you were going through. He never knew he could have such an affect on someone. He watched with a sad expression as you wiped your eyes before turning to him, not yet looking at his face.

“Technoblade.” You grabbed one of his hands, which was a lot bigger than yours. His heart shattered as he thought back to all the times you played with his hands, tracing the lines and scars, maneuvering his fingers to form a certain shape, cracking his knuckles, playing with the jewelry, or simply just holding it. It was a habit that he’d come to enjoy and even find a comfort in. You knew he wasn’t really one for physical affection, so you showed your love in small ways. And whilst at first they were difficult to get used to, it eventually worried him if you weren’t doing the small acts you usually did.

You played around with his hand a bit, before intertwining your fingers with his and bringing your other hand to hold his near your heart. You sighed, stepping closer to Techno.

“I love you.” The words stunned him. Sure, you’ve said them before, but those were in a platonic way. He could tell that this time was different. But now wasn’t the time for him to go through a whole rant of “there’s so many other people but you love ME?” He could tell that was the last thing you needed right now. So he accepted your words.

“I love you too.” He gently unwrapped his hand from yours, moving it to cup your cheek. Your eyes finally met his red ones, tears streaming down your face. Now it was Techno who was holding back tears.

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner..” The piglin took his other hand to cup your other cheek, holding your face still as he leaned down and placed a gentle yet loving kiss to your forehead. A silent way of telling you that it was alright.

“When I die, I’d like to meet you again. And spend the afterlife with you.” Technoblade smiled and leaned his forehead against yours, staring into your eyes with nothing but adoration.

“I’d love that.”

You spent his final moments right by his side in his bedroom, watching the sunset, then the moonrise, then the stars. He retold you Greek myths, rambled about how he was feeling, how scared he was to die, and how sad he was that he had to leave you. You listened and comforted him through the whole thing. And right before he died, he gave you one last kiss on the lips, one that was passionate and long-lasting. The tears came right back, knowing what was about to come. He shared one last “I love you” before taking his final breath. You luckily managed to say it back just before he died, seeing him smile before he went completely limp.

You stayed in his bedroom for hours, holding him close to you and sobbing until his body went cold. You hoped that it wasn’t true, hoped that he’d open his eyes and laugh at the state you were in. But no. He was gone, and he was never coming back.

You took all of his favorite and personal belongings. His crown, his cape, his sword, his axe, his book of Greek myths, and The Art of War. You gave your lover one last kiss before burying him along with all of his belongings, stabbing his sword into the ground and placing his cape and crown with it. You surround his grave with his favorite flowers and potatoes, along with a sign that said “I love you. -Y/N”

You took Technoblade’s extra cape, vowing to keep it safe and never let anything bad happen to it. It was all you had left of him. You stayed at his cabin that night, sleeping in his bed. Well, tried to. You were cuddled up in his sheets and his cape, Techno being the only thing on your mind. The feeling of his last kiss to you still burned on your lips, wishing you could feel it one last time. You cried all night in his bed, not falling asleep until the sun came up. When you awoke in the afternoon, you expected Technoblade to be there by your side, before remembering the tragic truth.

He was gone.

Honestly just knowing that Alex’s heart no longer beats, he no longer breathes, and his body is now ice cold is just super scary. The sound of heartbeats have always been comforting but after losing him I’ve realized how scary and painful death can truly be. Now whenever I hear a heartbeat I’ll probably start crying and imagine it’s Techno- Anywho, it’s officially 2 am, almost 3 am. I spent way more time on this than I thought I would lmfao. But it’s time for me to sleep. Bye bye sleepies. <33

AUUGH It’s like theres no god of war content rn so here are my headcanons on gow if it was a musical

Kratos would have a singing style similar to Hellfire in Hunchback of Notre Dame

Some moments in the games I think he would have a song in would be the scene where he’s asking Faye what to do abt the baldur situation in gow 2018, and he would maybe have this small conflictive duet with atreus in that “grieve how you will and I will grieve my own way” scene. Think of a duet like On The Open Road from A Goofy Movie, but obvsly, more sad, angry, maybe a lil quiet, and definitely shorter lol.

Uhhh Atreus’ singing style would be smthn similar to Ciao Papa from that Guillermo Del Toro Pinocchio movie. At least in the 2018 game. He DEFINITELY has his own like short but explosive number for when he kills Modi, AND his own actual first number by the time he spreads his moms ashes.

In Ragnarok, that’s where Atreus’ singing ability is RLLY shown, i don’t have any ideas atm for that tho lol

2. when was the last time you cried? uhhhh tbh i don't really remember but probably when i was cramming to finish my thesis film LMAO

3. do you have kids? no human children but i have a very large and very stubborn dog and a very judgmental cat and i love them both very much

4. what sports do you play / have you played? i played every sport under the sun as a kid (soccer, basketball, gymnastics, cheer, fencing) (not all at once tho!!) but didn't really enjoy any of them for very long bc i am a couch potato at heart 👍 i love to take long walks tho so that's how i get my exercise

5. do you use sarcasm? me? no! never! [lying]

6. what’s the first thing you notice about people? their sense of style! i really enjoy expressing myself through what i wear (<- girl who is wearing sweatpants and a t shirt i got for free) so i love to see how other people do the same!

In A Sentimental Mood: A Ruggie/Yuu Oneshot

Some quick Housekeeping! This was originally meant to be a song-fic but the only time I remembered to/felt inspired to write was nearly the middle of the night (as writers do lol) so I didn’t have enough mental energy to splice the lyrics together into the story. Instead, I listened to the song on repeat while writing, like, HALF of the fic but I thought it was cute enough to fit the vibes. The narrator's voice and descriptions were hard to keep consistent as well as concise, but whatever. I don’t think I properly matched Ruggie’s speech pattern but I think it’s close enough to ‘random, working class teenager’ for now.

Also! It’s an X Yuu but I’m pretty sure I used all GN! Pronouns so please feel free to read it as an X Reader (who’s the Ramshackle Perfect). It felt kinda awkward to not describe the character or use open descriptors (like Y/N, HC, etc.) but feel free to add any notes or styles to try out for an open reader audience. Honestly feel free to comment or message any feedback lol! I don’t have a beta reader atm (I might ask either my gf or my IRL friend who’s also into TWST) but it could be fun to have a random stranger react to my writing so they’re disconnected from personal feelings and whatnot.

I have a fic introducing my oc a little interacting with the Pop Music Club, but it’s making out to be longer than expected so between writing for my own AU/ocs story I’ll be posting cute lil song-fics as well as crackhead interactions lol! Maybe a few headcanons as well. I’m not sure if I would have ever actually started writing fanfics (or writing in general) instead of simply daydreaming about it if it wasn’t for @twst-beam and @krenenbaker , so a quick dedication for them for lowkey lighting a fire under my ass. Not only have you opened the creative floodgates, but actually gave me the motivation to actually TRY and put it into action. Anyway…. ON TO THE STORY BITCHES!!! ENJOY THE THE SWEET HYENA BOY (who weirdly looks exactly like my Boyfriend, lol) AND COME REALISH IN THE CHAOS~

In A Sentimental Mood:

A Ruggie/Yuu one-shot

It had been a long day. Scratch that–it had been the longest year of Ruggie Bucchi and Yuu’s life! However, there was something especially trying these last 24 hours. Maybe it had something to do with how this was the first day off the both had (that lined up) in w e e k s and they STILL BOTH got called in to run some nonsensical errand. Or maybe it’s because when the First Year Squad were supposed to be babysitting Grim the entire first floor of Ramshackle got absolutely trashed.

Something about stupid bets, idiotic magic competition, and a prolonged chase. Afterwards, Rugs and Yuu had to help clean up! The aftermath of the wreckage was too much for the Hodge Podge group of freshmen.

What really topped the day off was the mission impossible scheme the couple failed to pull off. Originally, the two were simply planning to “borrow” on one Leonas (numerous) credit cards while the latter was passed out for an all-expenses-paid date out. It’s not like they were about to rob the second prince blind! Just a few trips to their usual thrifting stops, maybe hassle with a local boutique and then some semi-fancy free grub.

Instead they got caught two shops in when they decided to grab some food before being totally weighed down by paper shopping bags. Since they had a later start, Yuu suggested getting dinner to the new uppity wine-and-dine.

“C’mon Rugs~ When are we gonna have another chance to dine like Kings? And on a Royal Dime at that!” they foolishly (but successfully) tempted the poor Hyena into a little more Mischievous than the two realized.

Too bad their Dinner Date got cut short from one of the waiters recognizing the Sunset Savannah Royal Seal on Leona’s card. It took an hour and a half of being corralled into a backroom, 3 ominous threats of calling the police, snarky back talk and just general arguing before Leona strutted into the Restaurant and vouched for his underclassmen. Seeing the lazy Lion not only WAKE UP, but come off campus was a bit of a surprise for the thief couple.

What wasn’t as surprising was his smug, diva face while declaring that they would need to pay him back for disturbing his nap. After hasty, and admittedly sheepish, promises to the Prince, he collected his missing card and strutted back to campus. Luckily, he was secretly a bit of a softy towards his unofficial Vice and the magicless Perfect that saved his life (and probably his status for not ratting him out to his older brother). It’s safe to say while making the switch a decent stack of Thaumarks was placed in Ruggie’s wallet.

So yeah, in a word, the day had been a bit of a shitshow. A clusterfuck of misfortunate events (and if it weren’t for Leona, Yuu and Ruggie would not only be in some kind of jail but also flat broke).

But finally–finally–this hardworking hyena Beastman and the Ramshackle Perfect were about to have some peace and quiet! A moment for just the two of them. A small, precious moment late at night. After the longest night of their collective lives, the two were able to cuddle up and appreciate what they had. Even if all they had was encompassed by long, tiring days and horrendous luck… and having the bend to the whims of some of the brattiest Divas of NRC.

Regardless, this time isn’t about them. It’s about Ruggie Bucchi and Yuu enjoying what left they had of their day off, Damnnit!

“Ya’ know,” Yuu hummed into where their face was buried for max comfort; Ruggie’s chest. “Today wasn’t a total bust.”

Ruggie snickered sarcastically as his left hand paused its petting motion through his significant other’s hair. He was clearly only humoring his lover's thought process, yet paying attention all the same.

“I’m just saying it wasn’t a total loss,” they began to half-jokingly argue, “I still got to spend the day with you. Besides, you gotta admit it was pretty funny watching that stupid manager’s annoying face drop when Prince Grumpy strutted in all pissy!”

“Shee Shee Shee! Fair enough, Sugar! Good thing he didn’t realize Leona’s always cranky… or that His Majesty~ was mostly just pissed he had to wake up.” Ruggie answered playfully.

“It was kinda sweet of him for letting us, mostly, off the hook though. He even let us keep our goodies along with that sneaky bonus,” Yuu mentioned while lazily motioning towards the small mound of shopping bags and the miscellaneous items inside.

“Pleeeease~ He probably spends more on a single earring than we did with his card and cash combined,” Rugs pouted enviously. To emphasize his pout, he completely encircled Yuu with his arms and clutched them tightly. He was hanging onto them tighter than a swiped snack from the cafeteria on Doughnut day.

“I don’t know,” his partner giggled in response, “Leona’s been such a softy lately… but his whole dark and brooding reputation gets in the way a bit.”

“Dark and brooding?” Ruggie snorted, “Dunno if Leona’s habits of lyin’ around counts as dark and brooding.”

Yuu tried to suppress their elated smirk at feeling the slight tremor of quiet laughter. “True, that’s more of Mal’s stick isn’t it? Angsty and depressed?”

“Nahhh, that’s Idia’s thing! Also, I still can’t wrap my head ‘round you calling Malleus by some nickname.” His laughter died down as he scrunched his nose at the thought of his partner so buddy-buddy with one of Twisted Wonderland’s most powerful mages. And a crown Prince… with servants and castles and-

“You do realize that Malleus is like a GIANT kid right? I mean, yeah he’s some super powerful wizard-”

“Mage!”

“...whatever. He’s an absolute beast when it comes to magic and whatnot, but he’s got this whole ‘homeschooled only child’ vibe going on and honestly? It’s a little pathetic, in a cute stray way.”

Ruggie didn’t really know how to feel about his partner’s revelation. On one hand, he knew they were just friends and had befriended each other longer before Yuu realized Malleus’ status. That didn’t necessarily make it any easier to cover up the inherent inferiority or the slight unsettling fear. Good thing they didn’t feel the usual pressure of this world’s social ladder… but that doesn’t mean they won’t start worrying if he stayed lost in thought for too long.

“.......what was your world like for you to turn out so weird?”

“Hey!”

Ruggie continued to laugh, but it came out a little bit strained. Yuu finally glanced up in order to catch a glimpse of their boyfriend’s adorable pout. His lightly scrunched eyebrows and the way his ears seemed to fold-in on themselves made him look like a grumpy puppy. Absurdly cute, but clearly bothered, and they both had had such a long day t wouldn’t be right not to cheer him back up!

“Oh, c’mere!” the Perfect said through teasing giggles as they flipped Ruggie over to switch positions.

Rugs was currently (and quite contently) snuggled face first into his lover's chest; enjoying the sound of their heartbeat along with the comfortable extra cushioning. His arms reached slightly down to wrap around their waist snuggly as the two pairs of legs naturally crisscrossed at the joints. The moment he fully relaxed was when Yuu started to softly pet his bushy hair and scratch along the base of his ears.

Pure Heaven.

“Were you getting grumpy because I kept mentioning Leona and Malleus?” the Perfect lovingly taunted now that he was trapped and attacked (with euphoric head scratches) in his weak spot. Truly, an idiots mirage of paradise.

“C’mon Sweet Cheeks! Ya Couldn’t’ve least let me keep my pride?” Rugs whined, quickly going back to frowning deeply but unable to hold it for long. There was no chance in all of Twisted Wonderland he could stay “upset” while his precious Dandelion Fluff’s fingers softly caressed his sensitive ears. At least he could cover-up the way he melted, burying himself further into their figure. Luckily, Yuu was already squeezing him closure with a burst of affection,

“Don’t worry, my silly Hyena, the only one I was focused on today was you. The only one I wanted to spend time with was you. And the only person I think of from dawn till dusk, and dream about the whole night through, will always be you, Ruggie Bucchi.” Yuu declared playfully, then slowly breathlessly serious with a sappy amount of affection as they watched Ruggie's tail wave faster and faster.

“Shee shee shee,” Rugs bashfully replied, “where did all that come from outta nowhere?”

Yuu wistfully sighed, “I guess I’m just in a sentimental mood.”

The two shared some playful hushed whispers until Ruggie had to turn his head to hide a yawn. His attempt was futile however, as Yuu caught it–but instead of teasing him over it they simply snuggled him closer and quietly sang an old, sweet crooner love song from their home world. Despite the long day, it felt blissfully short as the two peacefully drifted off to sleep in each other’s arms.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I have 40k of a modern AU CarolMaria kdfic I started ages ago (last open rn is 2021 and it's older than that) and got stuck at the end bc I couldn't quite figure out the sequence of events. It has SO many scenes I love but I can never quite get back to it (the MCU's current storyline doesn't help either :/)

Another is a throwaway doc of a Monthy Python-style medieval comedy for TOG that I never sat down to brainstorm

15. What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm good at creating visuals without needing suuuper lenghty detailed descriptions

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I get too wordy and over-complicate my sentence structure, it's why I usually try to get a beta that has no issues tearing my writing apart to streamline it

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I enjoy it! I routinely use different languages in my every day life so it feels natural to me. I think rendering everything to English can be flattening and strip characters of their richness sometimes, while I also understand there is a line between incorporating a character's cultural bg and making a caricature of it, so I try to get the right feedback before I hit post and I'm always open to talking it out.

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

Don't think I have a particular craving atm, perhaps Spadeliano (Suburra: La Serie) but I have no plot for that, or maybe Kanthony (Bridgerton Netflix) bc when I went looking for fic nothing was quite was I searched for. Oh or Lupin (TV) cause I getting into Youssef's head when he's working with Assane promises to be so much fun, though it wouldn't be shippy

IRL I feel the most myself around my sister! We have some deep talks and she's very good at talking me through tough subjects. And in the online space, I feel like I can truly be myself with you! 💚💚

I'm going to see my best friend on Sunday! We're going to visit a Japanese bakery that we haven't been to before, but their bun and dessert selection looks impeccable,, I'm hoping to get one of everything on the menu 🤧

I'm doing really well, thank you <33 I have a lot of ideas for art, my shoulder and neck have been feeling better these days, I've been reading some new books, I'm less stressed on the employment front, I'm having a great time rn!

13. what’s your comfort food?

Any creamy and/or cheesy pasta tbh... homemade mac & cheese, fettuccine alfredo, carbonara, mentaiko udon,, ough those creamy pastas are the way to my heart

18. do you still love stuffed animals?

Ooooo well, I do still love stuffed animals, I like admiring them in stores or in claw machines, but I don't really like buying them. I don't have much space in my room for plushies and I don't like sleeping with more than one or two of them. I have a stuffed horse named Cinnamon that my parents gifted me when I was three, and I still sleep with her next to my pillow (she's very threadbare)

19. most important thing in your life?

Hmm this is a hard one...currently I think connecting with other people is the most important thing in my life. I've been socially isolated for the past year or so, and I've been very lonely and depressed at times, so now when I do get out & about I really enjoy making small talk with strangers or complimenting people's outfits. Like I really do understand the importance of social interaction after being cut off from it for awhile 😅 even a few sentences exchanged with a stranger can make my day feel so much richer, if that makes sense.

20. what do you want most in the world right now?

I'm pretty satisfied with what I have atm! (aka nothing's coming to mind atm, sorry sara 😅)

23. favourite piece of clothing?

OOH this is tough,, I want to say my patch jacket, which I've had since 2018, it's covered in Amazingly Curated and Thoughtfully Placed patches and it's getting very heavy and stiff,, but I also recently thrifted a sherpa-lined acid-washed 80s style denim jacket that is so comfy and just warm enough for spring, I've been wearing it almost every day when I walk the dog and I feel so cool wearing it...ig I'll have to go with my patch jacket but the acid washed one might dethrone it someday soon

My thoughts on Trimax Vol02! Not so much deep art or thoughts analysis in this one :)

I wonder if the name has any meaning to it? As far as I understood this is the mansion where Legato and his henchmen are hiding, so I wonder if there’s anything to that name. Now what I found just now was that there is a musician by that name who apparently made two songs, one called “My Only True Love” and “I’m Coming Back from Viet Nam”, but no chance to listen to them. Interesting, I guess.

Joke: Midvalley must be playing really bad if that’s his audience’s reaction

It’s also cool to note that Gauntlet is trying to warn the men about Legato, that they should get away! He might hold no sympathy for them but he also doesn’t wish for their ugly demise that’s inevitable when Legato steps in.

Oh this whole chapter is SO yucky and bleugh and evil but the most evil thing is this panel right here. Sometimes the horrors that aren’t shown are the most horrifying ones.

Aah I love it when one part of the face is covered in darkness, showing mostly the eye. It’s so looming and effective. Actually, now I do wonder if this is something that’s still used in nowadays mangas or not? I don’t read lots of mangas atm and only one other shounen, so I’m pretty out of the loop how manga style has evolved (of course everybody has their own style but in general, I think you can often see if a series is older or newer. I NEED to analyise what specifics do give that away because that’s pretty interesting)

I think this is the first time it’s kinda directly stated that Vash is not human, isn’t it? Just smth interesting to note I think.

Ooh we all know you’re also thinking about you and your own sinful existence, Wolfie.

I really like this page and especially the left panel! The ground is so utterly devoid of any details, apart from the sand clouds and the lines that the roller blades have left. I really enjoy how Nightow keeps mostly to lineart without using lots of shading in the clothes, that’s a thing he does mostly in the faces the enhance expressions as far as I could tell.

Gotta agree with Wolfwood on this, Vash is being a bit naive. He makes it sound so easy, so much so that it could be understood as an insult to all the suffering that Rai-Dei had to endure, to the way that his life is now. I mean it’s not the case but it does sound like Vash doesn’t want to know or hear about Rai-Dei’s crimes, by saying it “doesn’t matter”. All in all it is understandable that it only fuels Rai-Dei’s anger.

I love pages where it’s no sound, only little snippets of action taking place, with different perspectives.

Mmph 😍. You're such a top tier artist to me, that I've been studying your coloring and shading technique (for personal use and interest, nothing commercial or social media! [Since I wasn't sure if that would upset you or not]). Aside from pokemon, what fandoms are you into now? omg i've been reading yuyu hakusho and i'm trying to catch up to one piece atm...and of course i played the teal mask dlc. i enjoyed the story and carmine & kieran's sibling relationship...carmine's jabs and over protectiveness over kieran is pretty convincing, it feels very much like how older siblings act lol...it's been out for a while but i won't spoil too much but i'm excited to see the second part of the dlc. i just realized u said besides pkmn but it's always relevant to me so here it is anyway help...

for some time i'm also catching up to twst thanks to my friend but i don't really want to go into it fully (fandom wise) unless i'm completely caught up...have not gone looking for anything bc i don't want spoilers.i think the twst world is very interesting though and i'm always excited to learn more about them.

i also finished ace attorney investigations 2 recently (literally yesterday lol) so that's freshly on my mind, i kind of want to draw smth for it just because it was so satisfying how everything linked together and was tied up so nicely together in the end. plus i loved seeing all the different parent & child relationships in game and how it shaped everyone argh...

but tbh i haven't done fan art in forever though so idk if i will actually do it. i prioritize drawing my ocs more than anything these days because if i'm not drawing these fuckers who will...sigh! jk i love being obsessed with them but it's also the reason why i haven't posted much at all here...
