Thought you'd be interested. From Rolling Stone via rammwiki:
Bryan Adams played a role in choosing Rammstein's "Zeit" album cover. In an interview for the German "Rolling Stone", he shared that he convinced Till Lindemann to use the iconic Trudelturm in Berlin as the band's album cover. Lindemann needed a bit of persuasion, so Adams had the band run up and down the Trudelturm.
"When we were doing the cover, I said to Till Lindemann: "See that tower over there? That's your album cover!" He just said: "Hm, yeah, maybe". I got the band to walk around on it. I just thought: "Man, that's so good, I'd love to have that for my own album cover"."
Adams, a co-founder of Zoo Magazine, loves Berlin and used his photography skills for Rammstein's latest album photoshoot. Adams said that he values teamwork, emphasizing its importance in both music (as in Rammstein's case) and fashion photography. "You need stylists who know what they're doing and people who do it all the time, because if one aspect is wrong, it can ruin the whole thing."
Built in 1934 for aviation research, the Trudelturm is a spin tower. It pioneered lab simulations of spins. Crucial for understanding spin dynamics, it aided in intercepting and regaining control of free-falling planes. Rammstein's "Zeit" cover features band members walking down its exterior staircase.
Yeah, i saw, nice anecdote isn't it 🌺
i bet every Rammstein fan at one point figured out "Photographer: Bryan Adams....wait...is that *the* Bryan Adams?" 😊
I particularly love his Rammstein group shots

Can’t say I’m going to be too upset when ML finally ends in Season 7+. Like the idea that the show has been going on for 7 years and we barely know much about Gabriel’s backstory is ridiculous. The plot kind of juts forward at times but then gets stuck in molasses until the season finale. Then the fact that we’ve seen Ladynoir get together multiple times means that when it finally happens for the finale it’s going to be “oh that’s neat I guess”. Do I have faith that they can wrap up peoples arcs before the finale and have a good ending scene? Not at all. Knowing them most characters will be sidelined and the show will end with Adrinette kiss and then the Miracuclass running to be heroes and end in one last groupshot still with them all yelling “Transfome moi” as the last line of the series.
...I actually enjoy the show, and am happy to see it get more seasons. It probably won't end perfectly, but I suspect I'll still be fine with it at least. Seven seasons will probably be enough though, but to be fair, it's hard for any show to go on for a super long time without people getting tired of it - MLP: FiM stayed pretty solid throughout its run, and even kept on introducing new settings and situations to try and keep it fresh, but by the time it got to season 9 I was ready to see it end, especially since it'd been 9 years since it first aired, and I was ready for a break from it.
...Huh, by the time ML finishes its run (assuming it doesn't get renewed again) it'll have been airing for a longer period of time than FiM, though with fewer episodes.

I genuinely wish people on this hellsite would stop crosstagging their things with entirely unrelated things. And I’m not talking about the malicious crosstaggers who put anti posts into the general tag, or who put positive posts into the anti tag, just to poke each other.
Sometimes, when I see one of my mutuals reblogs a thing with a certain blacklisted tag of mine, I click “view post” because hey - maybe it’s not that extreme. Like, there’s some I follow where it’s more likely that something tagged as St/ucky is just general GIF set of Steve and Buck and I do not mind those.
Instead... it was a comic about Steve and Miles Morales??
And this shit keeps happening. By now, 90% of the posts hidden from view turn up to have entirely nothing to do with the things I dislike and try to avoid.
What’s with this recent increase of crosstagging? Earlier, I clicked on a post tagged for Thor Ragnar0k and it turned out to be... Ghostbusters 2017 fanart?? Not even of the Hemsworth character, but since Hemsworth is in the movie, the artist tagged all of the Ghostbusters characters and their actors and for good measure for some reason Thor and Ragnar0k. It was art of one (1) Ghostbuster. Not even a groupshot.
Like, I totally get wanting more exposure for your posts - especially your art. But why do you think that people interested in the thing you post wouldn’t find it over the topic of the post when correctly tagged? Why do people think others are more likely to reblog their stuff in entirely unrelated corners?
Not to mention... you’re wilfully taking away exposure too, because people who blacklist the entirely unrelated thing you tag your stuff with will not be able to view your art, even though they might actually be interested in the actual topic of the post?
Crosstagging is shitty to everyone.
You’re putting your unrelated stuff into the tags of something entirely different, where people go to look for something very specific - that is why they are browsing a tag, after all, to look for this one (1) thing and not for a wild variety of entirely unrelated stuff.
Imagine everybody did that, just for exposure. Imagine everybody just tagged a bunch of actors, characters and ships that have nothing to do with their posts. The entire tagging system would become useless. There would be no point in browsing a certain tag anymore and there would be no point in blacklisting a certain tag anymore.
Stop just thinking of yourself and of how clever you’re being by crosstagging because it gives you “more exposure”. Start thinking about the people who are interested in that specific tag you’re clogging and start thinking about the people interested in what you do who have that unrelated tag blacklisted and for fuck’s sake start thinking about the whole entire point of the tagging system and how you may just be one person but if everybody had your selfish mindset for exposure, then the whole system will collapse.
Stop crosstagging your posts. Period.

Learn to Thrace Your Fears
Hey there, cheap-ass bread. We got one more for this pony miniseries, and we're gonna finish it today. I hope you're into it~
Hope you're into this cover:
Tumblr media
Because, honestly, I'm not. It's another friendly groupshot of the Student Six, and that's all. Honestly, the covers of this series have been their weakest point. To be fair, you probably don't pick up issue 3 of a miniseries if you weren't into issues 1 and 2, so there's probably not that much need to draw in the customer. But if you put all three covers together, you probably can't tell which is which. You can only win a medal if you're not on the left side of the cover!
So we rejoin the comic where we left off, with Swift Foot having destroyed the friendship between the Student Six. She's admiring her handiwork, and yet somehow feels empty inside over the whole thing. This triggers a weirdly tinted flashback. Heck, I might even go so far as to bring back the Purple Flashback gag just for this. It's way out in the Thrace Kingdom, in Swift Foot's bedroom. Swift Foot's twin sisters, Shining Light and the improbably named Blonn Di, show up to tell Swift Foot that their dad's looking for an audience. Of course, to stir up trouble, they've taken their time delivering the message, just to show you how unpleasant their family is.
So the head of the royal guard is also one of King Thrace's daughters. Nepotism runs pretty rampant in the Kingdom of Thrace, it seems. Like, this guy has four daughters and no other subjects. And if you thought Blonn Di was a dumb name, let me introduce you to Terri Belle. Augh, you people have some stupid and terrible names. Anyway, Terri reports than Princess Twilight is holding an inter-species contest to demonstrate the merits of friendship. King Thrace declares friendship to be silly pony lies, and sends Swift Foot as an infiltrator to ruin friendship for them. And that's how we've gotten to where we are today!
So here's Swift Foot in the present. She's a little shaken, because here's a group of folks who made her feel more welcome and nice than her own family has. But they've all fallen prey to her preconceptions and proven friendship is a lie. But that's when suddenly Silverstream attempts to reason with Yona by speaking Yak to her. She's so bad at it, though, that Yona suddenly stops being mad and laughs. Her hovercraft is full of eels, or thereabouts. They wanted to surprise Yona by learning her language and making her feel more at home, but they haven't had time to learn in between school and the Olympics and so on~
From there, the other friendships begin to repair as well. Sandbar apologises to Ocellus for bullying her into shapeshifting, and she in turn apologises to Silverstream for being so jealous. Shapeshifters have to stick together, after all. Gallus promises that if anypony has a problem with Ocellus, they have a problem with the whole group. He apologises for being a bad leader, and Smolder in turn apologises for butting heads with him over it. Swift Foot is visibly shocked by the revelation that friendship can be repaired as easily as it can be destroyed~
And the group also apologises to Swift Foot, sorry that she had to see them like that. She's still stunned, but they explain the usual thing about how friendship can be messy, but you don't stop trying to make it work. And they then resolve to just go out and do their best, since friendship is more important than winning. They even invite Swift Foot to come along, and she almost breaks down in tears at the notion they'd still want to hang out with her after all she's done. But of course, they don't actually know that she's done anything wrong.
And so the group, now reunited in friendship, head out to tackle the final feat. Which, after some preamble from Twilight, turns out to be: can you fight this hydra? Fortunately, while they had the chimera last issue, they're not foolish enough to actually bring a real hydra into a crowded stadium. It's just a high-quality illusion. So Ocellus decides to show them what a real hydra is like, leading to the absolutely wild image of a giant bipedal dragon with four snakey necks, each topped with Ocellus' head. Each head carries a pair of the team, and the remaining head just headbutts the hydra. The pairs each jump on another head of the hydra and pin it to the ground. Winner, by pinfall or submission: the Student Six!
The group all celebrate, and the ceremonies are held later that night. The Student Six actually make second place overall (probably due to poor showing in the bridge event), and they mention that Swift Foot is not with them They tried to delay to allow her time to show up, but... Sandbar is especially disappointed, still harbouring that crush. We cut over to Swift Foot walking out of the town. She thinks they've earned their place up there and she hasn't. She has learned that friendship is real and true, and plans to return home to persuade her family to see this as well. And if she can't... she'll fight for her friends' safety anyway~
This is not a bad miniseries, and I still maintain that its weakest point is the covers. The rest of it is pretty all right. The ending is just a little weird to me is all. Like, it doesn’t really feel like the comic resolved anything. The Kingdom of Thrace is kind of an asspull retcon, and the ending doesn’t really feel like it dealt with that in any significant way. It feels more like it’s setting itself up for a sequel. And I promise you, this is only three issues. This is the finale. Other than that, though, story’s pretty all right. Poor ol’ Sandbar got his heart broke, though, and that doesn’t feel too good. I genuinely felt bad for him at the end, mostly because of the way his dialogue was written.
If you like the Student Six, I encourage you to seek this one out. If they’re not your favourites, though, this story might not be your favourite either~

October Update
(Also mirrored on the site obviously)
As September ends and October begins the air of spookiness returns! I think Guest should be Orin Scrivello for Halloween, but we'll have to see.
As is typical, around Halloween my thoughts wander to cats. I remember hearing about how black cats would get hurt when I was little around my neighborhood in October. If you had a dark colored cat you better doesn't get out or you might not ever see it again. That just makes me really sad.
Thinking about cats got me thinking about a cat shelter in my area. So hey, if you like fictional cat comics maybe you should consider helping real cats! Donate to, or volunteer at, your local shelter today!
The shelter in my area is The Cat Adoption Team! Oregon has a lot of stray cats and many of our shelters are full of cats, especially senior cats, that will never get adopted. So if you want to help them out consider donating to them or if you live in Oregon check out their volunteer page! If anything, look at their cat page and d'aww at their faces. They're like hydes, but slightly smaller. There's a cat as of posting named Toes.. that's a great name for a hyde…
cat adoption team . org (remove the spaces, I want this to show in tags)
In more Hyde's Men news, the site is now officially mobile friendly. Yay!
Oh yeah, for the month of October, post your cat on Tumblr with the tags #hydesbuddies and #hydesmen and I'll reblog them and doodle what they'd look like as a hyde. Oh and maybe they'll be used as references if I ever need another hyde full groupshot shhh

Double Exposure is a collaborative series that features the work of an admired artist.
LightLeaks second featured artist is Eva Mecham–a Vegas-based photographer who strives to represent women in an industry dominated by men. While the struggle to find respect always seems like a challenge, she continues her quest to become a respected photographer by practicing and perfecting her craft.
In this segment of Double Exposure, our aim is to support women, not just in photography but in every field where women are not represented fairly, respected or even paid enough in comparison to our male counterparts.
Eva and I interviewed each other to learn more about our love for photography, how our interest for photography originated, our influences and more.
EVA JACQUELINE MECHAM
Age: 23
DOB: 06/03/1994 Gemini
Background: Portuguese/Lao/German/French
Born: Las Vegas, NV
Raised: East Side Las Vegas
Insta Handles:
@spottiottieva was the first personal instagram I ever had but it became more technical to show ALL my work through.
…so I created the other two pages to serve as multiple outlets of exposure exuding different variable factors.
Humans AND Environment. Lol.
@sweetleaf_phto is female energy only and conceptual portraits/groupshots.
@jacqueline_images is my art and street photo page.
Why/how did get into photography?
My grandfather. He documented just about everything. He passed away in 2011 but his legacy lives on. He lived a life beyond what photos could show. His family traveled from Spain to America during the 1920’s. His determination, discipline, will, focus, and attention to detail rooted in me and allowed me to open my mind to the idea of collecting and acquiring but with tangibility and substance.
Past my grandfather stimulating my lifestyle choices I felt that spark after I developed my first roll of film. Being able to hold a photo in your hands is truly magic in the simplest form. Photos have influenced me my entire life. Keeps me constantly reverting back to instances and wishing I could save moments to time travel to. Just like music or a scent, a photo can greatly alter your perception or mood.
Last, a major reason I ever pushed my photography skills beyond documentation was skateboarding. I was at a young age when I fell more and more in love with every skate mag or video I ever watched. Naturally I began sourcing all my inspiration and tones through how the skateboarding industry plastered my brain. It’s common to have these wild kids throw themselves off staircases with ease and dive into 12ft deep drops every day. Whether it was filmed with thousand dollar equipment or the cheapest vx setup, A-1 quality images and content has always been around. It wasn’t until I learned real anticipation taking a pre meditated flick of a skater in motion performing a trick repeatedly without near success till maybe the 20th try in, that I understood the feeling of that equation. That 21st key shot is a high. All that focus.
What does your photos mainly consist /focus on? Why?
My photo collection is a mix of portraits of friends I’ve built connections or bridges with while the other half is a handful of my travels, daily life, and streets I walk through. I have to mention I LOVE ART of ANY kind. Art embodied within all forms. Especially if it doesn’t belong somewhere or a rule was broken to make or keep it there. I believe in the idea that the world truly is ours so exercising the freedom to express ourselves is common law to me. Almost like a personal passion project. On the other hand my favorite subject to photograph are literal human hands. I’m fascinated by hands. Our hands are such beautiful blessings that we often take for granted. With our hands we can touch, create, hurt, destroy, clean, whatever it be. Our hands are multifaceted and a huge relatable connection between us all as humans. No one hand is the same. Like our eyes, I feel they are also portals to the soul.
You are all about empowering women. How do you convey this in your work?
Confidence can be instilled in many ways but I have never seen more confidence instilled within a female more than when she enjoys a photo of herself. Living in this overly extroverted world, it’s common to find that most women compare themselves to everyone. Even men. I know this to be true because I can testify myself. I’ve grown up riddled with anxieties I’ve whispered to my inner conscience for so many years, without even realizing it. A photo can translate emotions and feelings you didn’t know you had. A virtual avenue. A portable capsule of what existed at that time. There is growth in a photo. People glorify in the beauty of a butterfly but fail to remember the stages of growth it took to become that butterfly we see. So for me to be able to capture the growth of is something one of a kind to me. Anyone or anything can have it’s photo taken. But it’s all about the subject. I stress to validate the women in my photos through our shared experience and what they represent passionately. Who are these women and how can I uniquely translate what they have made me feel through a mere photo for the world to perceive.
Talk about your experience collaborating on this project.
Norma! I’m extremely flattered you would have asked me to be a part of this project as it is so pure and beautiful. I love to share my thoughts and feelings and often feel I am overlooked and underestimated. Every once and awhile I meet someone who makes me feel human and included at the same time. I look up to you Norma as you are an incredibly vivid photographer with natural ability only acquired through patience, growth, focus, determination, and skill. I often wish we had met sooner. But there is a reason for everything and the influence you have provided has guided me quite a bit. I truly love Jelly and KNOW without a doubt that dog has a great soul. I’m lucky to have friends who aspire to create, as this will be so enjoyable in my older years to look back on and cherish as I fade.
Who is your fav photographer?
This is probably the hardest question you put on here but I’d have to say my grandfather.
Whose work has influenced your work the most?
I honestly wouldn’t be able to narrow it down but i enjoy and source my inspiration from lots of the lasting images of these timeless talents below….
Keegan Gibbs (so fucking fire)-
Atiba Jefferson (skateboarding essentials)
Mike O’Meally (classic skateboarding essentials)
Henry Chalfant (innumerable amounts of graffiti documentation)
Tobin Yelland (filmy skateboard shots)
Duran Levinson (insane portrait photographer)
Craig Stecyk (Z-town documenter/skateboarding essentials)
JR (graffiti/wheatpastephotographer)
Martha Cooper (80’s legend in street art journalism)
Alex Fakso (skate & graffiti essentials)
Ruedi One (for those wet blk&wht artsy street nights)
Ed Templeton (almost forgot this legend)
Nan Goldin (female legend)
Haris Nukem (vivid portrait photographer)
Ruth Orkin (female legend)
Who are you currently listening to, music-wise?
I have this private playlist I made myself I play every morning after I get up to get ready for the day. I’m revealing the first 3 songs but the rest is secret.
Rebel without a pause-Public Enemy.
Leaving Babylon-Sublime.
If 6 was 9-Jimi Hendrix.
Besides the essentials I‘ve been playing a lot of lo-fi hip hop beats/scratches/mixups while I work or create lately.
I usually have either an Alchemist or Madlib CD in my car stereo. I use a lot of CD’s and cassettes lol. Let’s just say my auxiliary option is variably unreliable so CD’s are solid lol.
What is your favorite photo you’ve taken and why?
I thought for so long on how to answer this. Haha. I have to say that every photo is my favorite. Not to feed the ego or anything but maybe in other words I’m a hoarder. Any and all photos I take fall into my collection and that to me is something that holds my life’s work and ultimate value. My archive. The best way to put this answer into perspective is the idea that I’m not done yet. I’m still constantly & avidly pursuing higher dimensions through photography, through life, through myself. For me to choose a favorite photo would be for me to say that I’ve reached some finished point. Don’t get me wrong I have favorited shots over others but like I said I love every photo I take because I love life.
Digital or film? Why?
Film is permanent. Technology isn’t built to last forever. You don’t need technology shooting film. Art in a post apocalyptic world is a priority. Creating something tangible is far more lasting to me. Especially one with an element of surprise.
A fixed restriction makes you think twice, I’m sure. Film is exactly that. Knowing you have that limited amount of shots, each one seems to count more. Film is a spectrum balance between a premeditated photo or a foggy moment in time. I’m a fast paced shooter but with shooting film I catch myself staring at nothing till I see something. Essentially, it’s something that actually slows me down and I need that.
Movie you’d recommend an aspiring photographer to watch for inspo.
Recommendation for inspo for an aspiring photographer hmmmm!
I’d say watch any Tim Burton film. That’s a given. I’m a major fan ofTim Burton’s movies and stories.
Then I’d say, Across the Universe and Inherent Vice. And after that watch some of Quentin Tarantino’s films. Those are all classic.

Being self-taught, how do you educate yourself on new ideas and techniques to take better pictures?
I can’t say I was self-taught because my dad was photographer. So I essentially grew up with the concept of photography. One of my first jobs was at this photo studio at Meadows Mall. I learned the basics in color balance, posing models and composition. College is where I got my formal training in photography. I learned how to shoot strictly in manuel when I took 3 years of black & white film photography and I became obsessed to say the least. Practicing photography in this manner gave me a sense of meaning behind the photos I took. I loved the idea of building a concept for the photos I had taken and embraced the idea of suspension and surprise.
But to answer your question, I learn new techniques by trail and error. Stick to one camera for a long period of time until I feel like I’ve mastered it then move on to the next. YouTube is also a thing. LOL. What is it that you want to say with your photographs, and how do you channel your work to illustrate that? Why? My personal photography documents moments and captures feelings that I like to look back on. A photo diary for the most part.
The subjects I touch on in my more serious work, aims to unpack what it means to be an Asian American female—of course from my own person experience. I express distressing feelings from my childhood, my feelings towards Asian stereotypes and dissect the standards of beauty in Asian culture.
When packing photo gear for a trip, what all do you take with you and why? My olympus stylus, fujifilm 400/800. A majority of the photos I take on a trip mimic the documentary style that I grew up with, however instead of focusing on people I try to focus on a moment and gut feeling that I am drawn to capture.
What motivates you to continue taking photos, whether it be socially, economically, politically, intellectually or emotionally? Everything is cathartic for me. It is a way to release a thought or feeling that I wouldn’t otherwise know how to express. Writing was my source of releasing this energy but through photography, I love how subjective it is to everyone else. You can share your work and get a complete different reaction or thought for what it was intended. But for me, when I look at my images, I know exactly how I felt and what I was struggling with at moment. It is somewhat of a reminder.
Within the aspect of women and social culture, what would you say is the difference between capturing beauty vs. vulgarity?
I think that what is considered vulgar for women is a popular theme in art, where artists are trying to breakdown that social norm for women. What was expected of women is being shattered by the “vulgar” images expressed by various female artists and photographers. It is essential, necessary and about fuckin’ time. To be lady-like was a standard put together by men and women are fully capable of conducting themselves however they see fit.
How did you develop an interest in photography and at what age were you?
Grew up around photography because of my dad. So I guess I always had an interest in photography. I grew up with a camera in my face and albums of albums of every major holiday and moment in my life. One of my first jobs was working in a photo studio called Photomania. Kids would go there to take their high school photos and basically trade them to each other like Pokemon cards. Hahah!
But working there was dope! I got to learn how to print from an old school printing machine. Had to clean that beast of a machine and take it apart every night. But I never took photography seriously until college. It’s when I finally learned about the greats (like Ansel Adams, Robert Frank, Cindy Sherman, and Weegee) that I completely got turned on to it.
Whose work has influenced you most, any favorites? Francesca Goodman, Nan Goldin, Ren Hang, Petra Collins, Carrie Mae Weems, Stanley Kubrick, Catherine Angel and Kimber Beck
When you are out shooting, how much of it is instinctual vs planned?
Half and half. And some times it’s completely spontaneous which is the best because when you feel that it’s the right moment, you just gotta go for it and pray that the photo comes out the way you wanted it to.
How has social media played a role in your photography?
It’s influenced me in the ways of curating my posts. Before, I just use to post whatever. But I think moving along the years of Instagram, I’ve seen how streamlined people can get with their style and feel of their photos. I also have my job to thank for that too.
While, I do curated my post, the work os still all mine. So I still see my Instagram as a photo journal but broken down into different segments.
What advice can you dish for any entry level photographers?
By a cheap camera and master it. Don’t buy into getting high quality gear until you find your style. Also, hang out with the local photographers you admire. You want to surround yourself with people who will push you to do better. A good piece of advice I learned from my cousin, Ez. Thanks cuh!
and of course i almost forgot….Talk about your experience collaborating on this project.
From our initial meeting at 6th & Franklin, I knew you we’re a go-getter! Actually, I hadn’t even met you yet but people we’re talking you up so hard that I was honestly intimidated. But real talk, I admire your constant drive to create work and your strive to improve your skills as a photographer. You are a walking and talking think-tank!
Doing this project was another project that I felt drawn to do, just like with my first Doublexposure guest, Andi. Everything I pursue in terms of interviews is purely for the need to connect with people who I admire. I am proud for what you stand for as an artist and I will support you every step of the way. Love ya girl 😘

A British Photographer Takes Honest Wedding Photos, and You Might Regret You Didn’t Invite Him to Your Celebration
Tumblr media
Ian Weldon says that he is not a wedding photographer, but a person who takes photos of ceremonies without any untruths. You won’t see brides and grooms posing, the fake smiles of relatives, or guests who are all doing the same poses in his photos. Weldon prefers other types of photos: awkward dancing, the preparatory bustle, kids making funny faces, and the newlyweds trying to finally eat something. They all look natural, funny, and a little bit crazy. Today Ian is invited by people from around the world in order to capture one of the happiest days of their life. We at Bright Side like this alternative take on wedding photography a lot and we tried to choose Ian’s brightest and liveliest works. Sometimes preparing for the ceremony can be as interesting as the wedding itself.

May be a strange request, but VAB V slowly getting back on his feet and emotionally healing is where it's at. What are the little things he does that show he's made progress?
NO this is the softest request and I’m loving it
Okay, so first things first, he’s going to be waking up at 2:15 for a long while. There’s no escaping that, I’m sorry. I think tbh that even after the dreams seem to get better, there’s going to be moments years in the future where he has the nightmare and wakes up like he did before and it’s seemingly out of the blue.
Something that’s coming up in the second chapter of Memento Mori (lol, remember that??) is the idea that Jumin and Nari/VAB verse MC call him by V most of the time, but Jihyun when speaking to him as a lover. Obv, in VAB, he asked for it specifically when taking off his clothes and getting down to business, but in this chapter that I have not yet finished orz, it’s basically explained that they use it quite a bit more??
It’s a small thing, but I really loved having it in there because, as you all know, I think V and Rika loved the idea of one another more so than the reality of one another. I think it’s really weird that Rika never refers to V as Jihyun and hated his handwriting and…just. Stop me before this turns into a Rika rant, baby this ain’t what you came for but I bite everytime she moves
ANYWAY, take from this what you want, but for me, I wanted V to open up that door and allow himself to be loved for his goober self, shitty handwriting and all and that was one little gesture that I really liked, especially since from the beginning it’s something that’s been on his terms. Something he himself accepted that he deserved.
The second thing is that I think he’ll laugh and joke with VAB verse MC/Nari and Jumin, get involved in their day to day, cuddle with them and help them out with their problems, but it’ll be at least a year until he says he loves them.
And that’s basically because I think that Rika was absolutely 100% guilty of stuff like saying “I’m not being unreasonable, I love you”, “If you loved me…”
So as it is, Nari/VAB verse MC or Jumin or both will tell him they love him and it’ll be awkward because he’ll thank them, but won’t return it. (And V I imagine is the kind of person who is like I LOVE THIS ANGLE, I LOVE THIS SHOW, I LOVE [Insert topic], so for him to not be able to say it to people really stands out).
And then, a pretty long time later, when no one is expecting it, he sees Jumin off to work like “… bye. I love you.” He wakes up on the couch and sees Nari/MC pottering about nearby and is just like “I love you”
And tbh they’re both shook
V WILL START SAYING NO TO STUFF AND LIKE. NOT APOLOGISE
He features himself in photographs too after a couple of years. Usually, he would take pictures of other people and only really appear himself if it was a groupshot
After a couple of years and a good deal of therapy, he starts actually doing self portraits and featuring himself in his work.
Also: he takes better care of himself in general. He’ll fix his sleep schedule, try and eat regular meals etc etc

Luke Cage is one of the most loved comic books characters of all time.  All the hardcore comic book fans I know were literally shaking with joy when it was announced he would be getting his own Netflix series.
She-Thor destroyed one of the most successful comic book franchises of all time.
The X-men are half women, and are from all over the world.  From Russia to Africa to Morlocks living underground.  It’s still one of the most popular comic book franchises, despite what Fox is doing to them.
Spider-Gwen is more popular than Miles Morales, and it involves idiotic comic book alternate dimensions.   Especially among female fans.  And cosplayers.
Funny, I have yet to see a single instance of the new Power Girl being cosplayed, whereas they still love cosplaying the old, giant-busted, giant-cleavage Power Girl.  The same thing for the new Vampirella.
Mocking Bird is absolutely hated.  Not because she’s a female super hero just trying to find her place, but in order to justify her, they have to turn all of the male super heroes into horrifying bigots, when they have never been before.  Even female comic book fans are complaining about her Feminist agenda.
What does this all mean?, comic fans are more than willing to accept an incredibly diverse array of characters.  They are willing, and often eager to accept social justice causes.  But what’s most important of all is that it is done well, with interesting characters, well written stories, fun, action, adventure.  They complain when you take their existing characters, remove them, and replace them with token minorities, who’s only interesting aspect is their tokenness.
I’m fully willing to have Iron Man retire, (I would love to see old super heroes logically retire), and fine, have his apprentice be a black girl, but don’t call her Iron Man.  If anyone was going to become Iron Man it would be War Machine, or maybe the Falcon or Rescue.  There are already people slotted in-line.  Call her, say, Iron Maiden.  Literally one of the biggest complaints I have against her is the afro.  It won’t fit in the Iron Man helm, and would ridiculously affect the aerodynamics and control.  Yes, comic book fans care about the laws of reality... sometimes...  Obvious removal of acceptable breaks from reality can be really jarring.  They also gave her a chest-implanted ark generator.  The reason Iron Man uses it is that it’s a medical device that stops metal shards from digging into his heart.  War Machine has a similar suit, but doesn’t use an implanted generator, it’s instead built into the suit.  The new Iron Man, because of her afro, doesn’t wear a helmet, which is absolutely brilliant idiotic, not just for protection, but because it contained all of the avionics, ventilators, and is absolutely critical to aerodynamics.  Speed was what defined Iron Man when compared with War Machine.  They instead bulked up her armour, (leaving her helmless), making her move along the lines of Iron Monger.
What this all means is that they aren’t introducing an interesting new character, they are just wholesale replacing a beloved character with a tokenized replacement.  Did Supergirl become Superman?, no.  She doesn’t need to be Superman to be super, and she was brought in to round out the cast, not replace a main character.  Batgirl never became Batman, but she did, (sometimes), become Batwoman.
Next let’s focus on sexuality.  Female fans don’t care that female super heroes are overly sexualized.  How do I know this?, aside from actually talking to female geeks on a regular basis, instead of simply talking for them, but cosplay.  Cosplay is a very visible way to find out how much of a fanbase a character has.  Go to any convention and you’ll have two slave Leias for every Darth Vader.  There are entire websites dedicated to women helping other women make a good slave Leia costume.  Most conventions will have a giant slave Leia groupshot.  If female cosplayers do crossplay as a male character, they will more often than not make a sexier version of that male character.  Finally, as I mentioned before, the newer, less sexualized versions of older, sexier characters are almost never seen.
The idea that female fans need industry outsiders to come in and rescue them from their beloved geekery is preposterous.
The idea that comic fans are just bigoted is also preposterous.  They love social justice causes, so long as they are done well.  What they abhor is when you replace existing characters for the sake of diversity, (and, honestly, I’m still pissed off about Knightfall).

Once you get this you have to say five things you like about yourself, publicly, then send this to 10 of your favorite followers :) ❤
Thanks for sending me this and sorry for the late reply :D
1. I’m quite a practical girl, but I can still be generous to the people around me. I love charitable work.
2. I love my family, especially my brother, fiercely and dearly.
3. I have a fair judgement and perspective on almost everything in life.
4. I maybe overweight, but most of the time when I’m in a groupshot I am not the most hideous looking of the bunch :))))
5. I get along with most of the people I get to talk with (though my first impression to all of them is that I’m a rather strict and unpleasant person)

Before & After images of the board members at @vicpridecentre - it's amazing what can be achieved with some @photoshop witchcraft. Afternoon light - especially the so-called 'Golden Hour' might be the best time of day for portrait shoots, but the challenge is the light changes in brightness and COLOUR every minute - until ultimately it's too dark and you need to rely on indoor lights which can be really harsh and often you can't move them out of the shot! #portrait #corporate #business #photography #melbournephotographer #melbournephotography #pride #victoria #equality #groupshot #photoshop (at Imaginarium: Photography & Design)

I don't normally post the emotional stuff, but today was a very historic day. Today was my last day at Odeon and I don't think anyone has ever got such a wonderful, heartfelt send off. I've worked here for six years and the last two in particular have been a complete whirlwind, jumping about different Odeons and opening our little Costa. I'm so proud of this team (the ultimate gangsta squad) and I love you so much. I don't know what I'm going to do without you all, but you've made the last year especially the best year of my Odeon life 💕✌☕🎬🍿 . . . #work #odeon #costa #odeoncosta #odeonlife #costalife #barista #team #squad #squadgoals #workfamily #family #groupshot
