Seven Deadly Sins Matchup: I pair you with… Ban!

Ban loves how open-minded you are and how critical you are! You don’t judge his complicated past and also keep him on his toes. He listens to you whenever you need it, and you do the same in return. He’s also a bit stubborn, so it can cause some contention between you two, but you usually figure it out pretty quickly and resolve things.

The Fox Sin is pretty decisive! He is a great leader and follower as well, so he has no problems taking the reigns if need be. He is pretty good at being patient; I mean, he lasted for YEARS in Baste Prison and only got out when he heard Meliodas was alive. Ban thinks your random knowledge is great! Sometimes you make him laugh with your random tidbits of info, and he tries to make you laugh in return! He loves your laugh! He also fully supports your efforts to become a psychiatrist!

Ban fully encourages your boba spending habits. He’s not loaded persay, but he has a decent amount of money and will happily buy you all the boba you wish. He also loves debating with you, and experiments are a fun date for you both! He’s down to do just about anything and loves how fun, adventurous, and easy-going your relationship is!

Jujutsu Kaisen Matchup: I pair you with… Nanami Kento!

Nanami is perhaps the opposite of Ban but still similar in some ways. For example, they’re both firm in their beliefs, have strong opinions but can find common ground if needed, can get into friendly debates with others if it’s the right topic, and so on and so forth. You get me?

He also appreciates your open-mindedness and critical thinking side. These are qualities that make great jujutsu sorcerers, and it shows in your work. I see you as a psychiatrist or counselor for other sorcerers! You help diagnose their issues and/or refer them to better specialists to help them. He also doesn’t mind that you’re stubborn. He’s tenacious in his own way himself. It doesn’t cause fights, though. He hates fights between you two and would rather discuss it civilly as adults rather than argue. He loves that you talk so much. He doesn’t speak unless things really need saying or if you two are debating something, so he’s content to sit and listen.

Haikyuu!! - Akaashi Keiji

Akaashi is like you - quiet and reserved. He isn’t one to initiate any conversation, but he does approach you to hand you the glasses you lost earlier. He barely gives you a short nod before heading off again. Every time after that, whenever you lose them, he’s the one who finds them again. He warns you every time not to lose them, but it’s something you can’t control. He eventually notices a pattern and intervenes with it quickly, effectively preventing you from losing your glasses any longer. Akaashi rarely goes up to you after that.

When he sees you walking your dogs one afternoon, he comes up to you to pet them, admitting he has a soft spot for animals. The other guys on his team all have pets but he was never allowed any in his home. You invite him along to finish the walk and you end up at the dog park to throw Frisbees and balls and have fun. Akaashi’s enthusiasm with your dogs allow you to open up to him, inviting him for future walks and outings, which he accepts gratefully. From then on, he approaches you more often, the topics shared between the two of you broadening to more than just dogs. You learn more about him and his volleyball team and he learns about your mastery with the cello. He’s a sucker for food and good music and you jump to the chance to show off your skills whenever possible.

Majority of the time, Akaashi is over at your place, either eating your home cooking or helping you with homework. You sometimes watch him play volleyball during official matches, but your attention always turn to Bokuto than Akaashi. Whenever you two have a conversation on one of your more beloved topics, you tend to confuse him with your tendency to switch between languages. He does his best to trip you up as well and the two of you eventually learn as many languages as you possibly can. He’s also no stranger to affection and close contact but he rarely initiates it since he respects your boundaries.

Both of you are quite reserved at the beginning, but as time goes on, you find yourself opening up a bit more to Akaashi. He also does the same - he realizes it’s better to have someone else on your side to solve a problem. Romance is one of his weaknesses, so it takes him a long time to realize his feelings for you. When he confesses, he promises to do whatever it takes to make you happy and comfortable, while doing everything that both of you love.

KasamatsuYukio (Kuroko no Basuke): An inability to converse easily withfemales makes Kasamatsu’ life harder than it needs to be and that’s noexception when it comes to you. He recognizes you from being in the same classas you and never has conversed with you since it wasn’t necessary. That changeswhen he happens to find your glasses on your desk after school one day and you’reno where in sight. Waiting in the room for a few minutes in case you come backproves fruitless and he quickly goes to try to find you. He’s never seen youwithout your glasses before so Kasamatsu assumes you need these. Can you evensee without them? Luckily for him (or you?), he manages to catch a glimpse ofyou walking out the gate and quickly calls your name but not withoutstuttering. It’s clear his sudden outburst catches you off-guard by thesurprised expression on your face though his blushing face makes Kasamatsu lookless intimidating than he might’ve seemed. He hurriedly explains how he sawyour glasses on your desk returns them to you. All he expects from you is a nodof confirmation since Kasamatsu never heard you talk much in class and assumesyou’re a quiet person, but hearing a ‘thank you’ surprises him, and he’s momentarilystunned. Your voice sounds really cute and that makes him blush harder,stammering a ‘you’re welcome’ before excusing himself to basketball practice.Of course, he’d still be a blushing mess when he gets to the gym and will getquestioned by his teammates until he yells at them to begin practicing.

While Kasamatsu has always noticed you in his class,after that experience, he finds himself glancing towards you more often.Sometimes he even ends up staring at you without knowing it and needless tosay, he ends up blushing as a result. You’re definitely cute, he won’t denythat. If you catch him staring at you, he’d quickly glance away and becomeextremely flustered, stopping himself from looking in your direction anyfurther until a few weeks have passed. As challenging as it feels for him tostart a conversation with you, he is still tempted to do so. An opportunitypresents itself to him when once again, he finds your glasses left on your deskafter school with you nowhere to be seen. Like before, he goes to find you,calling out your name with a stutter when he spots you and returns your glassesto you. Also like last time, you thank him and he can feel himself blushing.Instead of hurrying off to basketball practice though, he tells you rathersternly to not leave your glasses lying about, especially since it seems likeyou need them. Such words might make him appear unfriendly since you two aren’tclose and he’s scolding you, but since you don’t judge people from firstappearance, you try taking his advice in stride. You already happen to loseyour glasses often as it is anyway, so it’s not like he’s saying anythingwrong.

Kasamatsu is thinking that encounter could’ve gone a lotsmoother and ends up thinking about ways he can approach you without it beingawkward. His teammates surely take notice of this and offer him advice, whichis not helpful in the slightest. Kise somehow manages to get you to show up attheir basketball practice one day though (how he managed that, he refuses totell Kasamatsu) and when it ends, Kasamatsu finds himself awkwardly standingbefore you, trying to make conversation. He first apologizes to you if Kise wasbothering you and thanks you for coming to watch their practice. He really isn’t good with females but he wants to speak more with you and thatserves as his motivation to do so. Asking you about how classes are for youseems like a good start but they don’t provide much conversation material andit quickly turns awkward. He tries asking about your hobbies since you don’tseem that interested in basketball, and at hearing you like playing the celloprompts him to divulge that he plays the guitar in his spare time. Maybe oneday the two of you can play a song together… It’s also pretty cool that likeenjoy singing occasionally too and Kasamatsu already thinks you’ll sound greatwith your cute voice.

The more conversations Kasamatsu starts with you andtakes part in, the more he finds out about you and that only seems to furtherhis want to keep talking with you. It’s rather surprising that you own fivedogs but hearing about how much you love them is really heartwarming and seeinghow your eyes seem to sparkle when you talk about your dogs makes it that muchmore fun for Kasamatsu to listen to. He wouldn’t mind meeting them sometime either,if you’re okay with that. Mathematics is Kasamatsu’ best subject so languagesaren’t something he excels in and is impressed at the fact that you’re fluentin three. It does catch him off-guard when you switch between languages and hewill definitely be confused, which might serve as something you’d be amused by.Kasamatsu will have no qualms with taking part in your hobbies with you, sincethat gives him a chance to see a different side of you. He might not be thebest when it comes to cooking and baking and might hesitate a bit when doingso, but he’ll still gladly offer to help you out. Working together with you ismore fun than watching you do it alone, but even that can be a lovely sight attimes.

Your increase in friendliness and liveliness is quite acontrast to your shy self that after Kasamatsu and you got close, it surprisedhim, but in a good way. It makes it easier to converse with you since there isa lower level of fear of scaring you off or turning the atmosphere awkward.Depending on what you like to do when you become hyper, Kasamatsu might have ahard time keeping up with you. He tends to worry a bit about you too,especially with how you don’t like to share your problems with others. It’sfine to try to work through your problems by yourself, and Kasamatsu won’tintervene with that, but when it appears that you’re becoming stressed andoverwhelmed, he’ll sit you down for a talk and let you know that it’s fine toshare your problems with him, and that you should, so that he can help you workthrough them. He doesn’t like seeing you becoming this stressed, and with youranxiety, he really wants to be able to share your troubles. Your insomnia isalso something that Kasamatsu will worry about, since to him, a good night’ssleep is something that is essential. Your insomnia isn’t something he can curethough, and at most, he’ll try to keep you company when he can at night and letyou use him as a pillow if you want. He definitely won’t hesitate to soothe youor ask you about your nightmares if you’re willing to disclose them to him.

Kasamatsu isn’t the best when it comes to physicalaffection, so you’ll have to the one to initiate any physical acts. He wouldn’tmind your hugs at all, though at first he’ll become stiff as a board at thesudden act but will happily though albeit awkwardly return your hug. He wouldn’trandomly approach you with a hug though, so there’s no fear of him scaring youlike that out of nowhere. It’s only with your permission that Kasamatsu willshow you acts of physical affection. He wouldn’t hesitate to surprise you withsmall trinkets as gifts though, and maybe even write a song just for you~

Attack on Titan - Armin Arlert

When he needs someone to help him articulate his thoughts on paper, Armin asks you every time due to your superior ability. He’s only good with words and capable of drawing simple floor plans, but when he needs something a bit more complex, he’ll need a helper - you, in other words. Armin is mostly business, the occasional personal question slipping out here or there. He’s slightly awkward and you find it difficult to interact with him because of this, but he comes around often, giving you plenty of opportunities to learn more about him.

Armin is also a dog lover, although he gets overwhelmed when there’s more than two. He admires your ability to care for five and notes especially how well they’ve been trained. With a shared love for dogs and the arts, you begin to find more topics to talk to him about. While he shares his insecurities with you often, you’re reluctant to disclose any issues plaguing you, even at his insistence. Everyone knows Armin is akin to a counselor of some sort despite his shortcomings. He doesn’t force you to tell you anything you’re uncomfortable with, but he reminds you constantly that he’s willing to lend you an ear any time.

In your downtime, you’re often unwinding with Armin by sharing your cooking with him, teaching him how to bake, or simply sharing books. He’s always blown away by a hidden talent you reveal whenever appropriate and he’s secretly jealous at everything you can do. The only area he can trip you up in is with his book smarts, but even then, you trump him with your fluency in multiple languages. You’re his inspiration for him to study more, he likes to say.

The business-like atmosphere shifts into an affectionate one without either of you noticing. He leans in closer over time, hugs you more often than before, and is able to guess what you want to say or suggest to do just by reading your body language. He also gradually becomes an expert in leading you to confessing any problems you that might be plaguing you, but you’re still obstinate in this area. Romance is the last thing that comes to his mind so when he finally realizes everything you two have been engaging in has a romantic connotation to it. it takes him a long time to work up the courage to confess his feelings. When he finally gets around to doing it though, it’s a sweet and beautiful confession, one that everyone else strives to have.

{1/3} Hi! I was wondering if I could get a matchup? I guess I should describe myself huh. Well I'm a straight female and have short blonde hair that people mistake for brown and blue eyes. I have thick glasses(I'm legally blind) that I tend to lose a lot(a lot). I am very shy, not liking to talk to people unless they start the conversation. I also have really bad anxiety and insomnia so I don't sleep a lot. Also I have nightmares quite a bit. Even though I'm really shy, I'm very loyal.

{2/3} I also really like drawing and writing! Another one of my hobbies is cooking and baking which I really love to do when I have time. I’ll sing occasionally and I play the cello(been playing for 5 years!). I also really love dogs and own 5 of them. I know 3 languages and will often talk in a mix of the three without realizing it when I get really into a conversation, I also know a little of American Sign Language which I use. I also LOVE reading and will read anything I can get my hands on!{3/3} Once others get to know me I can be very hyper and friendly. I don’t like judging people cause I had lots of bullying in that area when I was in junior high. But I also don’t like bugging people about my problems because I tend to think I can do it on my own. I get scared easily and flinch a ton but I love hugs! I get scared easily?(Even people giving me hugs will freak me out cause I don’t know what they are doing until they tell me, I flinch at people giving me high fives). I'm female, she/her pronouns, I'm bisexual so I'm fine with both male and female matchups.

Personality: I'm very laid back but sometimes come off as ego-centric and domineering. I have to admit I’m a lazy person who prefers having a leisure more than anything else. I mostly spends my time as a stoic and a calm person and i might even come off as apathetic towards the world around me [even tho I’m not]. I’m usually perceived as being insensitive because i generally prefer to deal with emotions in my own head rather than openly. tbh I often think I’m above others, yet I am always willing to acknowledge that I’m a total piece of shit [sometimes] Sometimes i have fantasies and ideals that I want to start creating or becoming but i myself a reality check and let the dream fade away. I’m very innovative but still choose the practical route a lot. It’s easy for me to create goals and envision the end results but it’s ridiculously hard for me to remain committed to the process. my sense of humour is full of sarcasm and irony. I have trust issues and I don’t like asking for others help. I fear rejection and most of the time i think people are lying to me or being two faced. I feel like someone saying no to me or rejecting me would demange my pride and ego and others would talk about me and make fun of me so i refrain from asking for help or anything similar. She is initially your boss in the Port Mafia. You are an errand girl and run messages and files to various executives when phones are just inconvenient, and they don’t feel like making phone calls. It happens more often than you think. You’ve dealt with Chuuya, Akutagawa, Mori, and pretty much everyone. But your favorite person to visit is Kouyou!

She’s kind and as welcoming as one can get in the Port Mafia. She is also brilliant, confident in her capabilities, and a pro at conversations (she has to be, negotiations in the Mafia are complicated). And have you seen her fashion sense? It is immaculate! (at least in my opinion, lol) She appreciates how calm you are, and it is a trait that is valued greatly in the Mafia. 

The two of you are a team to be feared! Especially as you get promoted to being a negotiator, and Kouyou is often sent with you to ensure that you’re safe. It’s a job usually reserved for Mafioso grunts, but she willingly volunteers because you’re pretty much her only friend in the entire organization. Like sure, she has Chuuya and whatnot, but they aren’t friends, ya know?

Death Note Matchup: I pair you with… Mello!

The two of you bond over horror movies! They’re one of Mello’s favorite past times, especially if there’s chocolate involved. Like, make sure there’s plenty of chocolate, and he’ll watch just about anything with you. 

You and Mello both butt heads sometimes, what with you both being a bit domineering and steadfast in your ideals. He’s also more active, whereas you can be a bit on the lazy side. It’s not a bad thing, though! He helps motivate you because he knows you can do great things. 

You are his rock, he’s so hot-headed, and you are calm, so you keep him level and cool. He knows about your trust issues and has some of his own, but the two of you have a bond where you can trust each other no matter what. He would never lie to you, wouldn’t betray you, and you’d do the same for him.

MATCHUP ANNOUNCEMENT

I am seriously dreading writing matchups now and am seriously considering either just not doing them anymore or just taking a looong hiatus from writing them after this batch is done. I just don’t enjoy doing them, especially with people constantly not following my rules. I’ve also done over three hundred and fifty of them, so I’m a little burnt out.  What do you guys think? So as a nurse, Rory has a lot of experience talking with all kinds of people, so it isn’t surprising that you two become friends! He makes sure any nutty or wooly textures are nowhere to be found when the two of you hang out. It’s always at either your house or his or somewhere quiet, like a library, where the two of you can just read books and chat. 

Another fun hang-out idea is to chill at either of your houses and just watch documentaries and shows! He’s also partial to disaster documentaries,  but he also is a fan of sports and some cartoons, but it’s a pretty even distribution between your likes and his. It’s also tradition to have a Harry Potter marathon once a year whenever you guys feel like watching it. 

Rory does wonders for your anxiety. He’s used to handling difficult patients but doesn’t treat you like one. Instead, he treats you with respect and tries the best he can to help you. He gives you a phone that’ll connect to his even if he’s in another time period with the Doctor and Amy and tells you you can call him any time if you are struggling :)

I'm very introverted person, I have much social anxiety around public/social things. I really don't like starting conversation or talking to the counter guy at the store(´ . .̫ . `) which leads me to being kind of pessimistic when meeting others ( kind of rude too I guess lol ) but I never give off rude energy to people I meet, I can be very polite and you can tell I'm awkward/ get embarrassed. I am however a huge extrovert around my friends and family, it's like I'm a total different person. I am a huge chatter box, I will talk anyone's ears off ( mostly about anime/video games) and I won't stop period. I can be clumsy/v goofy too- just a huge goofball lmao. I'm kind of boy crazy- or more like a huge fangirl!! I love playing dating games and can't help but squeal ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡. Though I am very mother like and abit of a pain when things don't get done (like chores or not being listened too) so I seem very mature at times. Buttt I can be childish, laugh at random things ( I laugh out of nowhere sometimes to myself- it scares my family.) And make noises, but I'm bored half the time(~￣³￣)~ I play around alot- I make a ton of suggestive/ straightforward pervert sentences...I'm a flirt to my friends🧍‍♀️ I always say we're dating etc. Bad traits, I'm a moody person w/Abit of anger issues:| I can get annoyed easily or can be kind of sensitive (I've been told it's easy to tell what im feeling) sometimes I lash out but majority I keep my feelings inside. Chuuya balances you out nicely! He’s a bit brash and can be loud when need be. He appreciates your introverted side but also loves your extroverted side once you get comfortable with him! He loves hearing you talk and asks you questions just to keep you going. He just likes seeing you happy :)

He worries about you with your clumsiness. So he’s taken to carrying around bandaids and sometimes gauze pads in his pockets to help bandage you up when you trip or fall over or are, in general, just really clumsy. In return, you mother him a bit, ensuring he eats three meals a day and gets adequate rest because coffee isn’t a suitable replacement for sleep. I don’t care if you’re a mafia executive.

Your suggestive and flirtatious attitude makes Chuuya blush, but he also does it right back, so it ends up being a contest to see who can make the other blush more. But the two of you ramble about anything and everything and often have really fast-paced conversations that no one can keep up with but you two!

Okay. Um. This is new to me, I never really liked character x reader fics or things of this sort but this- it intrigues me.

Um. I'd like to do that pair up game? Pretty please?

I'm 18, latina (too dark to be white, too white to be dark), bilingual and working on the next ones. I like to sing, draw, play with my pets. I have 3 cats (F Destiny, M Melquisedec, M Axel), a dog (F Maya), a hamster (M Dante). Autistic, bisexual (but pan when it comes to animated characters, with them I just go WILD) but with a prefference for males in real life but wild fantasies with females. I flirt with both sides though.

If the partner is the, for a lack of a better word, 'authoritary' of the relationship, I tend to be either the pouty partner or the stan partner. If they're sweet I tend to be either the bad influence or the blushing mess. If they're mischivious I am both the voice of reason sometimes and the partner in crime some other times. And if they're the sheepish softies or the shy/scared, I am both the "exCUSE ME THEY ORDERED WITH NO PICKLES" and the "you've been naughty".

I am 5.5 feet. I like sweets better than normal food except when said food is pizza, especially with extra cheese.

He really only knows Amestrian and is conversational in Xingese. He thinks it's so cool that you are bilingual! He asks for tips and tricks in learning more languages when he starts learning Aerugonian!

He’s also the sweetest Hufflepuff/Gryffindor I have ever seen, so the two of you make a lovely match! Alphonse also ADORES your pets, especially your three cats! He’s also more of the sweet, mischievous partner like Noé. He has moments when he’s a bit of a prankster, especially after getting his body back.

I don’t know how tall Alphonse is at the end of FMAB, but I can guess. I’d say he’s probably around 5’8-5’9” since he’s still taller than Edward, who is 5’6-5’7” at the end of FMAB. So he’s average height and possibly a little taller, seeing as he’s only 17-18 at the end of Brotherhood! He’s one never to cross your boundaries and make you uncomfortable either! He loves you too much to do that and constantly clarifies so he never accidentally crosses your boundaries.

I see King as a Hufflepuff or a Gryffindor! So a lot like Alphonse and even Noé! Maybe you have a type, lol. King speaks a lot of languages himself. He speaks Fairy, all manner of human languages, giant language, and even the occasional demon dialect! He loves your animals and can even communicate with them to some degree. It’s a natural ability of fairies to be able to communicate somewhat with animals. 

I’d say King is the anxious but more laidback type of friend. Like he cares about you a lot, so he worries about you as well. For example, if the two of you go out to eat somewhere, let's say for lunch, and they get his order wrong? You’ll most definitely have to step up for him because he won’t say anything and just eat it as it is.

I honestly was so confused when I was trying to find King’s height. I haven't watched/read Seven Deadly Sins in YEARS, so I got all kinds of things spoiled for me. But the best I could find was that he was around 5’3”-5’11”. So take that as you will haha. The two of you go out with Diane to find sweets all the time! I don’t really care about the gender

I think I’m sorta awkward. I don’t like to antagonize people and I avoid hard stuff if I can. I enjoy goofing off and making weird comments but I’m worried about when is an appropriate time to do so. The two of you watch anime together! He’s more into shonen anime and shorter ones at that. He doesn't like long ones like One Piece or Dragon Ball Z. They’re too long for his simple brain to handle. Space museum hangouts! He loves learning about space just as much as you, so it’s a mutual interest! As a Gryffindor, he balances you out quite nicely! This flashy man is definitely an ambivert like you! Although, while flamboyant and over-the-top, he was raised as a shinobi, so that does require a little bit of a loner lifestyle. In the modern day, Uzui is amazing at puzzle games but not so much video games. He gets frustrated easily with electronics and would much rather be listening to music or creating art. Your friend group also grows exponentially when you begin dating Uzui. You befriend all the Hashira and become terrific friends with Kanroji and Rengoku!

Shopping sprees! Uzui loves to spoil you by taking you out shopping and also surprises you with sweaters that he sees while out. Just be warned, some of them are rather tacky because Uzui has gaudy tastes. Cat cafe dates! You two go to cat cafes all the time with Uzui’s wives! And who knows? You five might adopt a few cats together :)
