I would watch Tanaquil [LeClercq] dance, and I would try to take what I had seen and what I had felt and apply it to sentences, paragraphs. Both Tanaquil (I could never bring myself to call her Tanny) and Balanchine would speak of the balance and the placement and the building of parts to create a ballet, or a particular piece of the ballet, and I could try to apply this to the shape and the rhythm of my writing. You should try to hear music when you write, and you should always try to replicate beautiful moments in your life through your words. Tanaquil gave me this. She also became, in a sense, my own Laura, in that she was crippled by polio, and the beautiful dances stopped. But her own, remarkable beauty did not stop. She wrote, she read and commented brilliantly on what she consumed. And she was a remarkable, durable friend.

Special Containment Procedures: uSCP-8276 is to be kept in a standard containment chamber at all times. The chamber must be made of reinforced glass, with a thickness of at least 5 inches. The chamber must be kept at a constant temperature of 20°C (68°F) and humidity of 50%. Any personnel entering the chamber must wear gloves and protective eyewear to prevent accidental damage to uSCP-8276.
Description: uSCP-8276 is a collection of delicate glass figurines, resembling various animals and creatures. The figurines vary in size, ranging from 1 inch to 8 inches in height. Each figurine appears to be unique, with intricate designs and patterns etched into the glass.
Despite their fragile appearance, uSCP-8276's figurines have been observed moving and changing positions when no one is present in the containment chamber. This movement appears to be random and unpredictable, with no discernible pattern or purpose.
In addition to their anomalous movement, uSCP-8276's figurines have been known to emit a faint humming sound when in close proximity to each other. The sound appears to be a form of communication between the figurines, though its meaning and purpose are currently unknown.
Attempts to remove or duplicate the figurines have proven unsuccessful, as any attempt to touch or move them causes them to shatter into thousands of small glass shards. It is believed that uSCP-8276's figurines are composed of an unknown type of glass with unique properties that prevent them from being replicated or handled without breaking.
Addendum: uSCP-8276 was recovered from a small antique store in [REDACTED], where it had been in the possession of a single family for generations. The family reported experiencing strange occurrences, including the movement of the figurines and the humming sound, but had never considered them to be anomalous until Foundation agents became involved. After confiscation, the family exhibited no further anomalous activity.
A loud yawn escaped the man with red hair as he leaned back in a rolling chair. “Another day of nothingness.” He placed his hands behind his head, interlocked his fingers, and yawned loudly again. “What can I do?” A puff of purple smoke appeared on the opposite side of the room and a figure stepped from it.
Daithi leaned forward and rested his elbows on the desk before him, raising his left…
I was engaged to Nicki Minaj but we got into an argument because I wasn't able to go see her perform in her production of Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie", which was being performed under the name "The Glass Minajerie".
Amazing plays from lis bts. Rachel as a teenager in 2010 being absorbed in plays from the early 1900s, is such a dreamy-Cali-kid thing. "Full of imagination", as Chloe says.
Rachel "delving into the mind of Chloe Price" by reading the book Chloe liked while she waited for Chloe to dye her hair.
Oh Chloe you'll realise Rachel's such a big fan of Tennessee Williams & Shakespeare, she even hangs posters of their plays in her room.
Kiss Me Kate inspired from Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Some of these giving me 🏳️🌈 vibes
Blanche fits Rachel like a shirt. Imagine her own heartbreaking take on it.
Reading book "recs" from a fandom is such an experience
Happiest of birthdays, sir! You don't have any idea of how much I appreciate your existence and how much I treasure your work (be it on the theatre, tv movies, tv shows, and films). I've talked extensively before of how characters like Neil, Wilson, Housman, Barry Kempler, Danny, and many others have resonated with me; and how your work has changed my life time and time again. In honor of your birthday, I proudly present:

PS1: I know he probably won't see this taking into consideration that the man doesn't use social media, and it's almost impossible that he would choose to look at the hellsite, but one can dream
PS2: I chose Elvis Costello's music because he said he liked it on an interview
