Imagine getting called out in public for being a fusion... Even though Fusions can go around publically now, there is STILL a lot of stigmas.

Grandidierite and Rhodonite... Yes... Rhodonite is part of White's court... She is to be a living reminder to Steven that even if you have flaws you can still be a big part of homeworld- (realize what this imples...) Rhodonite still gets shamed but she is allowed to travel freely and work. A lot of people don't like working with her so sometimes White has to force them too- using it as ANOTHER lesson that sometimes even against others, you have to do what's right for the betterment of everyone (including yourself). (this is also what's she's sorta doing by spiting the other diamonds in her own way which is slowly becoming more caring as it goes on as she now has to listen to others more to make sure Steven gets to grow up nice and well rounded.)

Grandidierite is an OC. She's a high ranking powerful gem. She focuses on riot control for high public court cases, so it's not like Rho is in trouble if anything happens. Still, Grand is kinda stupid sometimes and this is one of those times.

Technically this version of Rho is from a dropped AU but I wanted to reuse her. I wish we got more of her in the show.
