I don't think we are getting pool scene at this point. Mile was sure it will happen in episode 8 and I don't think he was fooling us. Now story will focus on vegas and they won't have time to include it. I really think it should have happened this episode, they were standing by the pool and then showed sundown, I think it was cut.

Just bc Mile didn’t remember the exact episode (bc they don’t film in chronological order) doesn’t mean it’s not coming. Just bc Apo said the next 4 eps will have a focus on Vegas DOESN’T MEAN NOTHING ELSE WILL HAPPEN??? Kp have a lot of drama to get through too (from my knowledge of the book storyline) in the next few eps.

The way Mileapo have spent a long time talking about the pool scene means it’s impossible for it to be cut. It has been highly anticipated since the trailer. Apo has talked about it being his favourite scene multiple times and said it was mostly improvised bc Pond thought it would be beautiful in the pool, how there were not many people there, and how they had many different camera angles (I.e. the drone shot). If they went into all this detail expressing excitement about the pool scene IT’S OBVIOUSLY GOING TO HAPPEN.

idk if this is accurate but i’ve felt like in previous seasons riz & gorgug have been one of the inter-bad kids dynamics we’ve seen the least of & this season has been so great in that aspect. gorgug having helped make some of riz’s magic gear. riz helping gorgug with his studies. the shared birthday party. gorgug’s gift to riz being something he himself made to protect riz. riz’s gift to gorgug being something he illegally grabbed to protect gorgug. gorgug who utilizes rage to put his body on the line for his friends & riz who will take deep levels of mental stress for his friends. even though it was within the context of a joke, riz calling gorgug an “absolute sweetie.” like yea they might not be in a band together or both part of a presidential campaign team or owlbears teammates, but they’d go to war for each other, because they’re best friends.

Some pieces from my art final last quarter.

I haven’t returned to Taiwan/China in a decade. My family, my cousins, have grown up without me; I don’t even know what they look like anymore. This series superimposes cartoon self portraits onto real photos taken by myself and my mother during my last visit ten years ago. The photos have been collaged with elements of childhood. The series reclaims my memories of Taiwan/China and reckons with the passing of time and the changing of space, flattening my experiences into a fictional, digital world where I never left.

The bottom piece is a timelapse of my old family house from 2009 to 2023, now an apartment block.
