The third piece in the 2023 collection and another major update on an older piece is Geno from Super Mario RPG. When this game first came out in 1996, Geno was an instant hit with 10-year old Stormie as was the overall combat and art style of the game.
Back in 2014 I tried my hand at making the Star Warrior, but I wasn’t quite confident in my sculpting ability yet. Here 9 years later, that’s no longer the case. Geno was entirely hand sculpted and came out beautifully! Now to see about making an updated Mario…
Details, details, details... This dragon has quite interesting and elegant armor.
It’s a pity that I didn’t record how much time it took to finish the tail. Definitely quite a lot... ⏳
sculpted this little guy for my birthday. In my mind he's like a little video game NPC that sits in one place and gives you advice, and his name is Gutz.
His horns and guts are glossy but his bare bones are not
You can see the cracks from what i believe to be oved-baking? but i am not 100% sure.

Now i'm scared to paint it cuz i am worried the texturing will go away with texture of the paint 😱😱😱
We still have a little time to think on it. What are y'alls thoughts? Should I still paint it or do you think it is fine as is? And if I do paint it, what patten or color? (will likely stick to something simple regardless.)
Today's treat are these cute af, 100% handmade earrings! I decided to do something special for my friends' birthdays and decided to make (not-so-)matching fruity jewelry!
Dżej got their signature Panda x Strawberry combo, and Patyś a 100% #nonbinary certified Froggo x Orange set. Everything is handmade and boy, believe me when I say that sculpting these tiny charms was nerve-racking. Luckily the painting was much more pleasant as I was able to do that while on vacation ;)
Anyway, they came out incredibly cute and I would love to try sculpting something a little more complied next time so I can get better at this.
These are by far the funnest and creepiest earrings I have ever created! haha I had so much fun making them. I created a stud version and also now a magnet. Do you think I should make a severed finger Christmas Tree Ornament?
