Could I get some team whump prompts? Well. "Team" whump. Whumpee thinks they're joining a team (of villains, but that's just semantics) and everything will be great, but Whumper, the team leader, is a bit... possessive, shall we say, of their recruits. They do lots of manipulation and brainwashing to make Whumpee think that leaving would be more dangerous than staying. Maybe emphasizing that the heroes wouldn't hesitate to put Whumpee down, since by now they've become a full fledged villain themself.

Bonus points for Whumper orchestrating the team members interacting with Whumpee in a way that makes Whumpee more reliant on Whumper. Maybe they're cruel, and Whumper takes the role of comforting Whumpee?

TW: emotional abuse, manipulation

Maybe Leader sees that other villains are being cruel to Whumpee, but they don't intervene. They wait until the other villains are done and Whumpee is left crying on the floor to finally come around and comfort them. Whumpee, having no one left, has no other choice but to cling to Leader for comfort.

Maybe Leader deliberately sends Whumpee to fight Heroes, who beat them up pretty badly and almost kill Whumpee. Leader then can take the chance to swoop in and rescue them, putting Whumpee in their debt and acting like they are Whumpee's savior.

Leader takes all these scenarios, which was caused by them in the first place, to show Whumpee that Leader is the only one who cares. Maybe they tell Whumpee that while bandaging Whumpee up, being gentle and careful with Whumpee. But if Whumpee shows some kind of doubt, Leader's hands tighten atop their injuries, making them wince.

Them saying things like "I'm doing this because I care about you" or telling Whumpee that they are weak and helpless because they always need Leader to help them, etc.

Villain/Hero or Villain/Hostage dynamic where the Villain tries to convince the Hero/Hostage to use foul words when describing them bc "of course the Villain is nothing short of an absolute monster" and Villain uses increasingly sillier stunts as a testament to their EvilnessTM.

Hostage/Hero just simply refuses. They don't swear often. They don't like to use foul words to describe someone.

Villain, with red splashed across his face in front of Hostage/Hero:"What about now, huh?! Tell me what you think! Isn't this grotesque? Look at it!" (Points at wall) "It's the most hideous color you could put! Tell me what a monster I am!"

Hostage/Hero:"Y-You..."

Villain, grinning in glee:"Yes? YES! SAY IT!"

Hostage/Hero:"You dummy!"

Villain:"....Eh?"

Hostage/Hero:"You can't just paint this side of the wall red and the other green! You even mixed them at the bottom! You could've done a better paint job than this."

Villain:"...Say I'm a monster."

Hostage/Hero:"No."

Danny, due to his biology of being half dead, can eat very questionable things and not die. He decides to start a youtube channel with this.

He buys obvious shitty supplements online, clear and obvious scams, and takes them as directed for a month.

Then he reports what they did to him, and sends the samples to get tested. He's gotten more than a few scammers arrested by providing solid evidence that they used hazardous materials to make their product.

He gets away with this by claiming to have the power of abnormal metabolism, or an "iron stomach", so toxins aren't as likely to hurt him.

One of his viewers sends him an unmarked bottle of pills, saying that if he doesn't take the entire bottle on a livestream, they'll blow up a city.

Danny does his livestream, and goes out of his way to use the entire bottle of pills in extravagant recipes. By the end of it he's created a five course meal, all with the pills cooked/melted in, and it's become a mukbang.

The villain who sent it is watching the livestream pissed off, because they didn't specify how to take the pills, so this technically counts. The heroes they have trapped are losing their minds with concern.

Phantasm crashed into the side of a building, the rest of his team- the TeenTitans- stayed back. They were otherwise occupied, with the rest of the H.I.V.E. five attacking them.

They'd gotten a new member, one with a similar, nearly identical power set of their own new member.

Phantom.

Phantasm and Phantom, two mirror look alikes, they went absolutely feral whenever one was in sight. It was driving Robin mad, Beast Boy had joked about cloning but after they started to actually consider that option.

"Well, well, well." Phantom mocks, glowing green to Phantasm's red.

"Shut. The fuck. Up." Phantasm charges again, throwing the other into windows with a growl.

They kept bickering, hitting and injuring each other, until—

"Stop being so annoying!" Phantasm shouts, baring his fangs. Phantom, in return, stuck his tongue out.

"You're just jealous I got the Villain role!!"

At this point, their respective teams had called a draw and watched them fighting.

"You're a lousy villain!"

"I'm having the time of my life beating the shit out of you actually."

"I'm calling jazz."

At that, Phantom starts glaring. "I thought we agreed on not bringing this up to our sister?"

Danny is mothering

Mothering two kids was not easy Danny said based from experience, especially if one is a super-villain, and one is a hero. maybe this was fate coming to stab him in the back for becoming a vigilante, Oh well he'll just support and love them, afterall that was his only goal for his children.

he didn't care if Dan hurt people, as long as he's not killing them, he was glad and delighted if ever Dan asks his help, for his plans or weapon making, Dan always had his big pride so it rarely comes when he came asking for help on something.

he didn't care if Dani used/borrowed his powers all she likes, afterall she needs her support, no one can become a great hero without help from others and Dani was a stubborn one, that's for sure.

In short Danny liked bonding with his kids.

He only ever puts his foot down whenever Dan and Dani fights, he was not happy with this afterall, he didn't want his babies to fight and destroy everything in their paths.

They mostly fight privately but this fight was somewhat serious that they both needed to throw hands right here right now. in the middle of Metropolis for all the city's they can fight at.

Danny watched his kids strangle and punch eachother while also crashing into buildings damn that's going to be expensive, sighing in disappointment, he floated down towards them and when he was close enough grabbed their shoulders then pushed them apart, making them stumble and pause in the air.

"No. no fighting" was all Danny said before going invisible, patted his children's heads and teleported away, leaving a now crying Dani who was clinging and apologizing to Dan, who had no choice and awkwardly patted his older sister's back, while also apologizing.

No batman, you didn't need to shoot them with kryptonite, their not even kryptonians, put that away. and comfort superman who's hyperventilating in the corner.

Outcast Whumpee who left their old team and is now returning to burn them all down to the ground, even if it is at the price of Whumpee's own demise.

Ex-Villain Whumpee who joins the Hero team and is now haunted by what they did in the past. They feel like they are cursed and can never pay enough for their crimes, isolating themself in the meantime while desperately wishing that their new team won't desert them.

or Villain Whumpee who is held captive by Hero Whumper, who brainwashed them to make them feel bad about their crime. Whumper convinced them that they are cursed because of their past and Hero is the only one who can keep them alive. Whumpee is now obedient to Hero because of that.

Whumpee is poisoned and they feel like they are burning alive. They beg Caretaker to not leave them. Bonus point if through the haze of pain, they mistake Whumper for Caretaker.

You know what I love…

When people’s superpowers get worse when they’re scared.

Like sympathetic nervous system is a-going, heart is racing, and your whole body thinks you’re in danger. So it tries to kick in your powers to protect itself. I’m taking:

People with electric powers shocking themselves when touching a door knob.

Water powers unconsciously forming a water bubble and spilling it on themselves.

Fire powers smelling smoke suddenly, only to look down at their hands and realize their hands are heating up and burning the sweat off their hands.

Super genius’ drawing a blank and stuttering when someone asks them a question.

People with super speed bouncing their leg up and down or fiddling with their fingers so fast, it looks like one massive blob

(And of course the famous example) Miles, and his spider powers, sticking to everything.

Superhumans and their powers need to be one. I think often we forget about the ‘human’ part. Superpowers being inconvenient is comedic, cool to see, and shows that their powers aren’t just a cool feature they can just turn on and off. It’s a part of them. Just… people’s powers messing up when they’re scared. Give it a thought
