One for the Money, Two for the Show - a.h
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner x Fem!Reader
Summary: The title of father looms on Aaron, and he can’t seem to let go of his mistress, and she wants nothing but for him to provide her with release.
Content warnings: cheating, swearing, takes place in s1 episode 1. angst??
Aaron Hotchner’s lifelong tenure as a family man begins now.
He’s got his wife, his baby’s on the way, a nice house and a big car, a true family man.
It was inevitable for him, he wasn’t the kind to doubt marriage or children, life would take its course and he would let it, and he was sure he’d never have the chance of interacting with anything that would change that.
This odd, perhaps even life-altering, wonder had arrived in 2004, in the form of a new team member, a pretty girl. Mankind's greatest enemy would be a pretty girl. One singular woman could be so captivating she could tear down industries and destroy the world's infrastructure, and he was sure he had met her.
He himself was fresh in Quantico, just in from Seattle.
"Do you need any help?"
He wanted to decline her offer, he really did, but the intoxicating scent of strawberries had taken over his brain, and he could not produce the word 'No'. "You don't need to."
Y/N waved him off, sitting down across from him, picking up half the stack of his papers. "No worries, I like helping. I'm also trying to make a good impression."
“Don’t worry, I think you’ve made a good one.” He reassured.
Several hours passed them by, the sun had risen in their hours of work, light was peeking through the closed blinds and it was finally Saturday morning. They were much quieter now, and she had moved to sit beside him rather than across. "Take a coffee break?"
The older agent shook his head. "If I drink any more coffee, I'm never going to sleep again." She giggled, pouring herself a mug before leaning on the desk, looking down at him. "You can go now, really, I can finish this off."
She didn't budge. "I'm not leaving you behind, Hotchner." Her tone was teasing, a smirk accompanying her words. “What was it like in Seattle?”
“Rainy.”
“Oh, I love the rain.” His eyebrow is raised. “It’s romantic.”
Their faces are close together, she can smell the remnants of his aftershave and it’s nearly intoxicating. “This is not ideal.” She whispered to herself, and he pushed his lips onto hers, and despite her initial internal debate, she kissed back with equal ferocity.
He still doesn’t know what possessed his body, nor does he recognise the electricity flowing through his veins when he touches her.
In the distance, heavy shoes hit the cold floor of the BAU as the pair sprung apart in fear of the new presence in their office. "What the hell are you guys doing here? It's Saturday."
Y/N downed the last of her coffee. "We could say the same for you, Gideon." She quirked a brow at her unit chief and the unknown man beside him. "We've been here since yesterday, literally."
"Since Friday evening, yesterday?"
"Yeah."
Gideon shook his head, turning to gesture to his counterpart. "Well, while we're here. This is Dr Spencer Reid, he'll be joining the team. Dr Reid, this is SSA Aaron Hotchner," Aaron nodded in acknowledgement, offering his hand to shake.
"I don't really do handshakes." Spencer said, sheepish, relieved when no one was offended.
"And this is Special Agent Y/N L/N." She merely smiled. "I just wanted to show Dr Reid around on a weekend so the office is empty." It was smart to avoid Monday morning's usual rush in the bullpen.
“It’s good to meet you, Spencer.”
"You both should go home."
"It's too early, the subway doesn't start up for another hour." She interjected.
Aaron looked at her with a softness in his eyes that would be difficult to decipher unless you were at the receiving end. "I could drive you home."
The woman couldn't get a word out before Gideon snapped his fingers. "There you go. Now get some sleep and stop wasting your weekend away."
It has been determined, every family man needs his young, alluring mistress.
She was on medical leave in 2005, Adrien Bale’s warehouse bombing had done a number on her. He payed her visits, like any good lover. "How have you been?"
Y/N got up, moving to straddle his waist, he welcomed the intimacy, his fingertips drumming along her waist. "I've been okay." They joined in a kiss, him smiling against her lips. "How are you, Unit Chief of the BAU?"
His smile did not cease as she praised him with his new title. It was nice of her, too kind, as his own wife didn't celebrate such promotions. The higher the rank, the longer his working hours. "Better."
"You want something to eat?" Her hands travelled up his arms, soon to rest on his chest as he shook his head.
"I need to tell you something."
The seriousness dripping from his words, tinged with regret, had her pushing off of him and sitting on the other end of the small sofa. "What is it?"
His eyes narrowed from pure stress. "Haley's pregnant."
"Oh." Her mouth was left agape, just a little, until she regained the will to close it. "Congratulations, I'm happy for you."
"Y/N."
"I hope it's a happy, healthy baby."
Aaron attempted to take her hand, only for it to be snatched away. "Don't react like this."
"Act like what? I'm just happy for you."
“Don’t go quiet on me.”
It’s sounded like an order, and she was never one to disobey. Y/N scoffed. “What, you want me to scream and cry like a crazy mistress? Do you think I like knowing that you're going to bed with her every night? That you spend Christmas, New Year's, every fucking holiday, all with her!" He was quiet, and she stood, chest heaving. "All I get is office quickies and sneaking around on cases, because I'm the other woman! That's what I deserve."
“You deserve better than that.”
Her hands ran through her hair, clutching at the roots. “I’m the other woman,” She repeated to herself in disbelief. “This has been the biggest mistake I’ve ever made in my life.”
She was stumbling, grabbing her bag, she left the apartment and slammed the door behind her.
Aaron remained seated for a moment, his head in his hands. Her declarations of hate were loud, and clear as day, yet he found it difficult to breathe when she wasn't in the room.
Y/N hadn’t been around since then, not even at the grocery store, until Spencer’s faithful call.
"They want both of you back in the saddle. Medical leave's over."
Her and Gideon exchange tentative looks. “You're sure?"
Aaron smiles, just a little, at the hint of excitement in her eyes. "Order came from the director."
"Well, we better get started."
They each file out of the room, all except for two. Y/N intends to stay just to read the case file a little more, while his objective is to catch her alone for only a minute. "I came to your place a few weeks ago."
Her voice is monotoned. "You shouldn't have."
He seems unaffected by her response. "You weren't there, no one knew where you were." Her head tilts upward a little, flattered by his efforts to find her.
"I’ll send out a national announcement next time I go on holiday." The man plucks the manila folder from her grasp, just about softly catching her left hand in his grip. "Aaron."
"I didn't know if you were coming back to me."
"Don't do this because you know I'll give in." He comes closer, and closer, with every half second that passes.
Her hand is flat on his chest, halting him. “I was so attached to you, Aaron. My life depended on you,” She dares not look up at him, her gaze fixates on his tie. “Our affair had made me jealous, and I don’t want to hate your marriage, and I really don’t want to hate Haley,”
Y/N peers up at him through thick, wet lashes. “so please, don’t make me.”
His actions have a mind of their own, encouraging him to lean down and just kiss her like he’s been itching to for several months, and so he does. Because Aaron Hotchner can’t always do what he wants, but when it came to her, his Y/N, she’s putty in his hands, and vice versa.
"I miss you." He murmurs after they part.
"I know, but we can't do this anymore."
He steps away, and she’s the first to leave the tiny office.
When they’re alone there’s a potential to hurt a lot of people, it’s dangerous, and so they don’t catch themselves making that mistake until they’re outside Richard Slessman’s house, towards the back.
She’s on a call. “I love you.” The affections he hears pang at his heart. “Bye, mom.” He can breathe, she tucks her phone away.
"Everything alright back home?"
Y/N shrugs. "Yeah, she just gets worried.” She looks down at her shoes, and his eyes flicker to it for a second. "I didn't ask, earlier, how's Haley? And the baby?"
"They're good. It's a boy." Her chest inflates a little, he notices, and his eyes tear away from her silky blouse.. "I'm sorry, I don't want to-"
"You're having a baby, Aaron, you're allowed to boast." The grin that envelopes her lips was one that should been photographed, but he can’t ignore the way the corners of her eyes don’t crinkle like they usually would, or how her eyebrows knit together ever so slightly. "That's amazing, though. I'm happy for you. A boy."
Her actions contradict her words, she looks away, a way of avoiding the obligation to smile any longer. "Thank you."
"By the way," She grabs her handbag from the nearby ledge of the house, pausing at the sight of it before rummaging through. He recognises it, he bought it. A small stuffed animal is outstretched to him. "I got this for him when I was away. In the future, maybe he could look at it and think of his Aunt Y/N."
He chuckles, looking down at the toy in his hands, a little plushie of a dog. "Of course. Haley and I really appreciate this." She nods, unsure of what to say.
“I have something for you, too.” His is smaller than hers, it’s in a small velvet box and it makes her breath hitch in her throat. “I wanted to give it to you a while ago, I wanted to tell you that I was finally leaving Haley, that we could be together properly in the way that you deserve.”
She opens the box, and the ring inside is nothing short of exquisite. “Fuck, Aaron.”
"But things didn't go the way we, I, had planned."
Her head is slowly shaking in incredulity. “This is crazy.”
"A good kind of crazy?" His features are hopeful.
Her breathy laugh is pained. "This is a crazy kind of crazy, border-lining insane."
A smile plays on Aaron’s lips anyways.  "This is it, my final, grand gesture. I love you, Y/N, I always will and I would give up everything I have for you right now if you asked me to."
She takes a single step towards him. "You don't mean that, because I won't let you. I won't let you do it." She places her right hand on his cheek, the other still holds the open ring box. "You love Haley."
"But I'm in love with you."
"It'll go away eventually, and I'm telling you this because I know you. You'll hold that beautiful little boy in your arms, and you'll forget about all of it."
The older man shakes his head, but not necessarily in denial as the surface of his eyes become glassy. "I'll never forget."
"I won't either, but we have to let this go."
“The ring is yours, you deserve it.”
Y/N shuts the box, and it makes that satisfying sound, and she drops it into her purse with a smile, and the wrinkle at the corners of her eyes makes him grin like a boy.
And although she wants nothing more than to shout her love for him from rooftops and kiss him while August heat slips away as September looms on them, she readjusts her handbag on her arm and turns the corner around Slessman’s house.

Princess Leia has hidden on a closed Millennium Falcon with Han Solo three days in a row while Echo Base is in lockdown. The Rogues are obsessed with what this may or may not mean, and Wes Janson takes it upon himself to dig up the truth.
Absolute Echo Base nonsense. If you want to get picky, this is technically canon divergent, though no one can prove it didn't happen.
Written for the @yearoftheotpevent - November prompt: Secret relationship (reveal)
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
“Bad news,” Wes Janson announced to the Rogues hanging around in the hangar after the midday meal on day seven. “Rieekan saw the skates and said they can’t go within ten meters of a tauntaun even if we have the engineers confirm that they can hold the weight—“
“Shh,” Hobbie said, interrupting Wes and waving vaguely to silence him. He was staring at the Millennium Falcon along with Wedge and Dak.
Wes followed their sight line and saw Chewbacca walk down the ramp and head down the corridor that led to the mess. “What?”
“This is the third day in a row,” Dak muttered.
“That we noticed,” Hobbie added.
Wedge caught Wes’ eye. “I’m changing my bet to kiss.”
Wes raised his eyebrows. He had several betting pools going at any given moment, but only one contained kiss as an option and Wedge’s change would pay out a fair number of credits if he was right. “What did you see?” he demanded, concerned if the others got wind of whatever information Wedge had, he’d owe more credits than he had to his name.
“Organa has been walking with Solo to his ship around lunch. They board, Chewbacca leaves, ramp goes up,” Dak said. “Three days in a row.”

“Thermal” Luke Skywalker x Reader
(A/N: Some Luke Skywalker on Hoth fanfic for yah. Something short and sweet. And platonic! Reader is from a warmer planet. Warnings: None Word Count: 552 words)
~ ~ ~
Freezing temperatures and multiple layers were a constant. The Rebel base on Hoth was safe for the time being. Unforgiving in way of basic survival, but enough.
Working together to keep the base running brought strength and minor frustration.
You wondered if the cold was supposed to ignite a fury to wield against the Empire or challenge your sanity.
“Kriffing cold,” you muttered as you shuffled to your quarters.
A freezing cold, ice-block of a planet was everything you were not used to.
Yavin Four was more homey than this, you thought.
Walking passed the door, you wished for sunshine and beaches.
“I’d fight for a hot drink right now.” You sniffled and kicked off a boot.
“Me too.”
Your second boot dropped.
Peering around the small quarters, you did not see another person. No droid in sight either.
“Is this a sign of hypothermia?” You whispered.
“I don’t think so.” The voice was muffled.
What the blazes?
Stepping forward and searching for the hiding guest was odd. The source being your cot full of blankets dispelled any fear.
Squinting, you focused, searching.
A pair of blue eyes blinked.
“Luke?”
“Hi.”
“How long have you been in here?”
“Long enough, I guess.”
“You know this is where I sleep, right?” You laughed.
“Yeah. The plan was to ask if I could borrow your heated blanket, but you weren’t here. I thought I’d wait.”
“And you got cold?”
“It’s freezing.”
“I know.” You shivered. “Meaning either you’re leaving my pile of warmth or we’re getting really close because I need that blanket. My feet are cold again by the way.”
“I don’t mind sharing if you don’t.”
“Scoot over.”
Quickly, you found a way into the bundle of blankets and more importantly: the heated blanket. The best purchase you had made beside a large thermal blanket.
Space was cold and so was Hoth.
“It’s funny,” you said as you got comfortable, “I do have a second one.”
“What?”
“But I let Wedge borrow it. I guess I missed you in passing.”
His lips pulled into a smile as he shook his head fondly.
Together you curled up for the night on account of the rapidly dropping temperature outdoors. Keeping and sharing all warmth in your make shift cocoon.
. . .
The sound of movement and muffled voices stirred you awake. A snug, pleasant temperature surrounded your body and made you temporarily forget about the icy planet.
Rebels were preparing for the day. It was best you did as well. Of course it would prove a small challenge given your position.
Your dear friend, Luke Skywalker, had his head tucked underneath yours.
Subconsciously huddling for warmth wasn’t an exaggeration. Your limbs were squished between bodies and legs were slotted together.
This is a first, you thought before yawning.
Carefully, Luke picked up his head to have a look around the room.
“We should get ready,” Luke stated just above a whisper. His hair tousled in a humorous fashion; sticking up in the back.
“Quickly before we freeze or stay snuggled up?” You asked, reluctant to leave your pillow.
“Both.” He grinned. “Uh, thanks for sharing.”
“Can’t let the farm boy freeze.”
Luke shook his head. A grin still clearly visible on his face until you frowned.
“What is it?”
“I have to get up first.”

This is an acrylic painting I did from Mandalorian Season Two. Bought a book with a bunch of cool behind the scenes stuff and recreated one of the pictures in it. It’s three feet wide by 2 1/2 feet tall and is hanging in my room.

Not what I was supposed to be doing but...
@halibellecter is this enough whump or do I need a part two?
They were in terrible shape when they were brought in. There was some kind of metal rod driven through their leg, their skin and clothes virtually indistinguishable due to the pallor of the skin and the blood that stained them. Agent Lace felt a fresh wave of adrenaline wash away her exhaustion as she noticed the crowning wound on the patient. Their long, white hair was matted with blood and oil and shards of bone and shrapnel.
"Get them prepped for surgery-"
Lace had the unenviable task of removing the blood soaked clothing, revealing terrible burns on frostbitten skin.
Spread kolto over the burns and frostbite alike.
Brace and pull free the metal rod in their calf. (Stitch it up afterwards)
Piece together bits of their skull by hand. (Don't think about the brain you can clearly see below)
Hours of labor pass. Many medics have given up on the patient in favor of more survivable wounds. Lace works alone, frantically patching them back together with thread and kolto.
They're breathing with the help of a tube, swaddled comfortably in a kolto tank, and they are, despite all odds, alive.
Lace takes a step back from her patient, satisfaction and pride in her eyes.
Then she collapses.
For two days, she had nursed her patient, fighting against death itself to keep them.
Now she must pay her dues...

Can I Request A Leia Organa x Fem Reader With Fluff Pls
Hello there! Of course you can, thank you for requesting! I was so excited to write this one! I hope you don't mind that I changed it to a gender neutral reader to make it more accessible.
Tumblr media
Cold Comfort
Leia Organa x GN Reader
Summary: When Luke and Han fail to return during an outing on Hoth, Leia turns to her favourite person for comfort.
Warnings: None really, lots of fluff and shitty writing. Angst if you squint.
Word count: 400 (I know it's short, i'm sorry)
Note: This is my first fic that i've actually been confident enough to release and i'm pretty proud of it so I hope you enjoy. I just wanted to apologise if my grammar and punctuation are entirely rubbish i'm still trying to work on it. I would really appreciate some feedback so if you have any that would be great! I'll stop rambling on now...enjoy :)
The sun had long set by the time you heard the metallic hiss of the door opening. You had been staying with the Rebel Alliance on Hoth for the last few days while they were laying low after fleeing from the Imperials. It was an ideal planet: devoid of human life and located in the outer rim but it was lonely. And cold. Despite the supposed lack of life, it was important that the alliance knew for sure that there was no one else on the planet so they sent out patrols. It was a standard procedure, but the unpredictable weather on the ice planet made it nearly impossible to keep track of markers and how far you were straying from the base. As the sun drops, so does the temperature and anyone left out there has a very slim chance of survival. Luke and Han were out there.
Leia stood at the door, her hair falling past her waist in thick waves, a contrast from her usual buns. Her eyes were tired and looked as though they belonged to someone who had spent endless hours without sleep. Her lips however, despite the bags under her eyes, were lifted softly into a smile as her gaze drifted over to you. You grinned gently at her as she made her way over to you. Her lips pressed against yours as you embraced her in your arms.
"Any news?"
She shook her head, eyes coming to meet yours, "No. They're sending out a search party when the sun rises again. The storm's too dangerous to send anyone else out in,"
Her eyes brimmed with tears and you pulled her closer to you, wrapping your arms around her waist. She rested her head in the crook of your neck. You knew she cared deeply for her friends and that the possibility of never seeing them again was frightening for her. It was frightening for you.
"They'll be okay," You hummed softly to her, "I know they will,"
She said nothing just wrapped her arms closely around you as you placed your head on top of hers comfortingly. For a while you both just stood there, holding each other close as the blistering storm on Hoth raged on outside. For a while, with your eyes closed it was just the two of you. No snow, no Imperials, just you.
"I love you" you whispered.
"I know."

Chapter 7: Invitation
Tumblr media
During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with this disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel throughout the events in this action-adventure romance.
COVER ART BY @zaana!! And this was my first fanfic ever, y'all! :D
Master List of Chapters
Tumblr media
Time passed, and missions blended together. Vel settled into her new position, contributing her skills to keep the ship running smoothly. She kept to herself as much as possible at the beginning, but throughout a variety of experiences, found small connections with each member of the crew.
Wrecker was the one to teach her dejarik, with their hand-carved physical set, but Hunter was the one she couldn't beat. Crosshair refused to play, opting instead to make endless adjustments to his weapons kit from his seat in the corner, but still couldn't resist throwing out the occasional thought or strategy critique.
Her unease around Crosshair began to diminish as she stopped trying to earn his favor. As she contented herself with polite cohabitation instead of meaningful connection, she found him more peaceful to be around. His cynicism and scowly manner were simply his nature, as much as Wrecker's boisterous zest for life.
Her initial attempt with Hunter did not go well. They were scouting along a ridge, on a dusty and dismal planet, when he crouched to the ground, tracing his fingers across the sand, picking some up and letting it sift through his fingers as he inspected it closely.
"What is that?" she asked suddenly.
"A mix of decomposed granite and sandstone," Hunter replied.
"No, what is that thing you do, grabbing dirt and feeling it? What are you getting from that?" Vel continued. Behind her, Wrecker caught Crosshair's attention, throwing a toothy grin his way and jabbing his thumb toward Vel.
Hunter stared at her for a moment, visibly affronted. Every fiber of his being emanated an indignant air of how dare you. Even Tech looked up from his datapad with a bemused smirk.
That was where the conversation ended. Later, over another futile game of dejarik, Vel found herself thoroughly enthralled with Hunter's account of a mission on Hoth. She had never heard of the icy planet, and his description of the tauntauns was borderline unbelievable.
It was Tech that she found herself most at ease around. His curiosity was infectious, and the satisfaction he found from both learning and teaching was impossible to hide. She felt old parts of herself stirring, parts that had been dormant for years, as she would find herself three volumes deep in the astrological lore of some random system, read aloud by Tech as she sat across from him.
"Man. All we had on Corellia was the Eye of the Pirate," Vel said, as he took a break between chapters. "A big red star that was impossible to miss. I made up some other constellations on my own, but there was nothing like this," she said, referring to the heroic mythological tales of the Yvara that he had been reading.
"The Horns of Waryl are quite fascinating," Tech agreed, pointing to an illustration of the three stars forming an inverted pyramid, "But on Corellia you also had the Ronto and Drall's Hat."
"Seriously?" Vel asked, inwardly groaning that he knew more than she did about the planet she had spent her later childhood and young adult years on.
"Yes! I shall show you, if our adventures ever take us there, or if you ever have any wish to visit," he volunteered. "But for now, I can show you the only constellation available to us at this location. If you will follow me?"
She rose from her seat, following him off the ship. It was parked on a platform atop a tower on Coruscant, and endless lines of traffic bustled in every direction. A steady hum of speeders and ships reverberated from the depths of the planet to the edge of its atmosphere, and the horizon was filled as far as the eye could see with twinkling lights, flashing billboards, and row after row of towering buildings.
He walked to the edge of the platform, off to the side near the front of the ship, and tilted his head up at the sky, examining the stars scattered across the sky. "There," he said, pointing above, "Follow the edge of that green antenna upward until you see a tight cluster of three stars together."
Vel stood next to him, cocking her head in a similar manner and squinting to follow his direction. She wrinkled her nose, seeing the green antenna but following it upward, again and again, unable to find anything resembling a star cluster.
"Look," Tech said, getting close behind her and putting his head right next to hers, over her shoulder. He reached an arm up again, next to her face, and pointed at the tower before drawing a line upward once again.
But Vel was no longer focused on the stars, instead wildly preoccupied with his sudden closeness. She swallowed, forcing herself to keep her eyes toward the sky, but felt an odd squirming sensation in her stomach.
"I see it... I think..." she said, positively lying through her teeth but not wanting to appear completely blind.
"Excellent!" Tech exclaimed, oblivious to her internal turmoil. "That cluster makes the eye of a constellation known as Eryon, or the Burning Snake. If you trace the shape of an S, going to the right from the eye, you will see the rest of the snake." He moved his hand again, drawing the letter in the sky, tilting his face closer to hers so there was a hair's breadth between their cheeks.
She caught a whiff of something, a mix of things that took her a moment to sort out. Burnt metal, fresh soap, and a clean, almost woodsy scent that suddenly catapulted her back to the delight and wonder she felt on Kashyyyk.
She felt a heat rising into her cheeks, and, almost irresistibly, leaned toward him a tiny bit to rest her cheek against his. Under the premise of stargazing, of course: "I see it," she said, truthfully this time, "All the way down to the tail there?" She hoped to draw his attention away from the touch, but it was a futile attempt.
"Oh, excuse me," he said, pulling away suddenly. "I apologize, I was unaware of my proximity."
"It's okay," she said softly, shuffling her feet. "I didn't mind."
"Anyway, there it is," Tech said, gesturing one last time toward Eryon.
They stood for a moment silently, so much unspoken, and regarded the stars.

Just want to give some advice to any and all fanfic writers out there:
If you’re ever stuck wondering, “Would Luke really just get up and leave behind the New Republic without telling anyone where he went?”
Yes. Not even just in sequel trilogy lore, or legends’ lore. If you just look at the original trilogy: Luke leaves the Lars’ homestead without telling anyone where he’s going, Luke leaves Hoth and goes to Dagobah without telling anyone where he’s going, and the only person who knows that Luke is going to confront Darth Vader is Leia.
I’m telling you now, Luke is the type of character to disappear for fifteen years only to reappear with Space Starbucks and three children and be like “Sorry I was late. I have a bullshit Jedi excuse, I promise.” Luke barely even tells Artoo where he’s going and Artoo is flying the ship.
(And when Luke does tell people, it isn’t in a “Do you think I should go here?” sort of way, it’s in a “I’m going to go here, see you later” way.)
What I’m saying is that Leia absolutely should have a tracker on her brother, because otherwise she would literally never know where he is at any given moment unless he is directly in front of her.

Just a quick post laying out a few pointers ( since I unexpectedly received a handful of queries about my fanfic ( The Mandalorian and the Jedi... thank you for your interest BTW :) )) that basically boil down to these four :
1) A Look Back. - 1 in the latest chapter ( which I labelled as III.2 but is also chapter 8 numerically ( https://archiveofourown.org/works/51672316/chapters/132792904 ) ) directly PRECEDES A Look Back. - 2 in II.2 ( chapter 3, numerically ( https://archiveofourown.org/works/51672316/chapters/130814095 )). It gets confusing, I know ( sorry >_< ), but the idea behind the anachronistic telling of the story is so 'scenes' which have similar themes or which tie in together ( cause / effect ) are grouped together to achieve some point that I want to come across. :)
2) Doesn't Bo-Katan acting basically like Ursa's AMIGA / Sabine's aunt mean you're making her REALLY OLD by the time of the Mandalorian? ( I think this is a Bo-Din shipper's concern :)) ) = Don't worry, I'm a Bo-Din shipper as well! Also, I think the age consistency issue with her has already been pointed out ( Bo was shown to be active and very much already in her physical prime ( and already old enough to be leading people ) in the Clone Wars era ( see the Satine / Obi-Wan arc ), which means she's possibly in her late 40s, maybe even in her 50s or 60s by the time of the Mando-verse ). My personal head-canon is simple : Mandalorians ( or those who I assume are actual native / genetic Mandalorians like Bo-Katan, Ursa, and Sabine ) are basically Star Wars SAIYANS ( yes, from Dragon Ball! ). While they have roughly the same lifespan as humans, they retain their physical primes / youth until the day they die ( I haven't had any cause yet to assume that they have longer life-spans that regular humans like Luke, Leia, as well as Han and Lando ( truth be told they actually look TOO OLD in the sequel trilogy ( over a decade too old, IMO, because those movies supposedly occur JUST 35, 40 years AFTER the original trilogy ( I could be wrong though ( don't trust me on this, I'm no expert :)) )); if they do eventually end up being shown in canon to actually have longer lifespans than regular humans, though... that would make them Star Wars NUMENOREANS / Dunedain ( like Aragorn ), I guess ).
3) When does the attempted attack by the Empire on the Lothal sector occur? ( The one where Hera was in danger of being defeated ( the battle over Garel ) until Sabine comes to the rescue with a sizable contingent of Lothalite defence force fighters ) = This is II.3, Five Years Later. - 1 ( numerically in chapter 4 ). Just before the battle of Endor, but a good while after Hoth :) I'd say it happens just days before the events shown in The Return of the Jedi :)
4) When does II.1 The Lonesome Tower. occur? = ( this is in in chapter 2, numerically ) Just before Peridea. - 4.2 in the latest chapter, III.2 ( numerically chapter 8 )! :)
Hopefully these will help :) Thank you again for reading! See you soon!

🌞💖❌
For the fanfic writing ask game thingy, please. 🙏
🌞 Do you have a preferred time of day to write?
I usually get most of my writing done in the afternoon, but ideally, I'd be writing all day!
💖 What made you start writing?
Middle school english class. My curriculum was a stupid yellow book of a bunch of stupid writing assignments that I absolutely hated and thought I'd never end up using in life ever. I even wrote a persuasive essay about how it was horrible to force a child to write. Looking back, that somehow kickstarted my joy of writing, and in college I learned how much I loathe maximum word counts. Years later, I'd begin writing the most passive aggressive first draft of a novel to ever exist, followed years later by my other original work, which was absolutely not originally an idea I had for a fanfic.
The first fanfic I ever attempted to write was a Star Wars fic set on Hoth a little before Empire Strikes Back, which I never ended up finishing. A few years later, while playing Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens with my little brother, there was a sidequest in the game about a TIE Fighter pilot who crashed on the Resistance base and went undercover as an X-Wing pilot, and I thought it was such an interesting concept that I ended up writing an entire story about her. I'll admit, she was definitely, in many ways, a self-insert, but I had a lot of fun incorporating her and my teenage crush on poe dameron into the Star Wars sequel trilogy (or, at that time just a duology I suppose!)
The first fanfiction I posted though was, again, inspired by Lego, and this time by my weird teenage obsession with Lego Nexo Knights, posted a few years after I wrote it. I later started writing fics fueled by my weird college student obsession with Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, then eventually started writing fics based on my perfectly normal obsession with Once Upon a Time, and later my bizzare obsession with a bestselling 1907 novel nobody's ever heard of, and now as well some drabbles that spread across many fandoms.
But I'd say what really started my love of writing was keeping a journal as a teenager. My emotions were always noisy and chaotic, like a dense fog I couldn't see through, but when I converted that fog into ink and let it flow onto paper, it all made sense. I found that if I didn't unwind my thoughts and lay them out on paper each night, they'd get all tangled up in my brain, and I along with them, but it was so much easier to quiet my mind to go to sleep if I emptied it into my journal first.
From there, I realized how much I love writing, and getting my thoughts out into the world. A lot of my writing comes from saying "this is the story I want to read, but it does not exist yet. I must write it, so we all can read it." Most of my fanfics are born of saying "hey, this is a tiny detail they could've explored but didn't," or "hey, wouldn't it be interesting if this happened?" and realizing that I can make it happen.
For me, writing comes as naturally as thinking, and it's truly one of my favorite pastimes.
❌ What's a trope you will never write?
This is not a surprise to literally anyone who reads my fics, but I will never write smut. That's not a trope as much as it is a genre, but it's the first thing that comes to mind.
fanfic emoji ask game! (besties please ask me more of these I will literally answer all of them)

COMING SOON !!!!
So, y'all have been here for some time and you know that my username "wacky" is not here for nothing, I'm a little bit "wackadoodle" with no, and I mean no limits so I wrote something new. Well, I already have the POTC x DinBo published (new chapter coming next week btw, you can find the first here bestie ) and it turns out that I've been kind of a "Hunger Games" fan for some time and since the Prequel is coming soon... To no one's surprise-...
Tumblr media
"A Mandalorian Fury", a Din Djarin x Bo-Katan Hunger Games themed fanfic is coming soon !!! There's already a playlist here and I'm finishing up the trailer !
A bit of infos about it: The Competition takes place in a dystopian future where the galaxy is ruled by the oppressive Senate, which forces people from twelve different districts to participate in a deadly competition called the Galactic Hunger Games. The competition is held once a year, and the participants, known as Tributes, are selected through a lottery system.
The twelve districts are as follows:
Coruscant: The Capitol of the galaxy and the seat of the Senate's power. The Tributes from this district are usually well-trained and well-equipped, as they come from wealthy families and have access to the best resources.
Mandalore: Home to the fierce Mandalorian warriors, the Tributes from this district are known for their combat skills and resourcefulness.
Tatooine: An arid desert planet, the Tributes from this district are often skilled in survival and desert combat.
Alderaan: A peaceful planet known for its beauty and culture, the Tributes from this district are often intelligent and skilled in diplomacy.
Kashyyyk: A planet covered in dense forests and home to the Wookiee species, the Tributes from this district are often strong and skilled in hand-to-hand combat.
Hoth: A frozen planet, the Tributes from this district are often skilled in survival and combat in harsh conditions.
Naboo: A planet known for its beauty and culture, the Tributes from this district are often intelligent and skilled in diplomacy.
Ryloth: A planet with a harsh environment, the Tributes from this district are often skilled in survival and combat in difficult conditions.
Kamino: A planet where the Clone Army was created, the Tributes from this district are often highly trained in combat and have advanced technology at their disposal.
Mustafar: A volcanic planet, the Tributes from this district are often skilled in combat in dangerous and unpredictable environments.
Dathomir: A planet inhabited by the Nightsisters, the Tributes from this district are often skilled in the use of magic and have a deep connection to the Force.
Lothal: A planet with a rich history and culture, the Tributes from this district are often skilled in art and creativity. Bo-Katan Kryze, a Mandalorian warrior, volunteers as tribute for the Galactic Hunger Games. She seeks revenge for the murder of her older sister Satine, who was killed by Prime Minister Almec of Mandalore. Bo believes that by participating in the Games, she can gain enough influence to overthrow the corrupt government and avenge her sister's death and stop all of this, once and for all. But as she volunteers for Mandalore, she meets this man, a certain Din Djarin, Foundling of the Deathwatch as he is called to the platform, selected for the Games…
