Spoilering this because it has commentary related to the Indigo Disk, but:
I am pleased that Pokémon finally confirmed the multiverse and the existence of multiple timelines. This heavily validates my headcanon that Lusamine came from another timeline via a wormhole. (She is from the Ultra Ruins.)
What fascinates me, however, is the implication that Solgaleo and Lunala are capable of not only traversing between the different dimensions of Ultra Space-- but clearly they are capable of something at LEAST similar to what Professor Sada and Professor Turo are doing with the time machine in Area Zero (timelines and dimensions arent necessarily the same thing). Canonically, the Ultra Ruins are just another version of Hau'oli City, on a planet that was destroyed by Guzzlord. This is VASTLY different from the other worlds we visit when going through Ultra Space.
This also supports my idea that Lusamine was close colleagues of Sada and Turo. All three of them were trying to access worlds/realities beyond this one, and they all managed to do so through different means.
Whether the time machine could also send Sada or Turo to Ultra Space is unclear, but I don't see why it couldn't.

I spent all my spoons today cleaning. I got all my laundry baskets out of common areas, put all my clothes away folded and organized, and put some clothes in a box for donations. I had vacuumed most of the house save for the dining area and kitchen where my parents were even though it was hurting my hands. I've also been feeling faint bc I haven't eaten in a while and beginning 3 hours before dinner my mom gives me shit about eating and I didn't have any reserves left hidden in my room.
So I go with the vacuum to finish cleaning and open the gate (we have gates to each room to herd the dogs) and immediately my mom is freaking out bc I'm "letting the dogs out". I wasn't. Her screaming at me however startled me and I accidentally knocked over a pill bottle onto the ground which then further sent her into a fit of anger confusing me. This was while I was trying to close the gate as her yelling made me think that was the priority. Literally her screaming caused me to not see the pill bottle being picked up by one of the dogs. I thought her further yelling was bc I had almost knocked over the treat bin trying to figure out what the hell i was doing wrong. And she wasn't yelling anything helpful btw, just yelling at me to STOP and that im KNOCKING EVERYTHING OVER.
My dad eventually stepped in and grabbed the pill bottle and told me directly what happened and that I needed to watch where the hose was. This was much more useful to me than my mom screaming and insulting me.
When I tried telling this to my mom she told me to shut up and I said I'm done and left the room. i heard her yell that shes not giving me dinner and shes tired of being threatened?? I never threatened her??? I just said im not going to do it if shes going to yell at me. Thats not a threat thats me using boundaries.
So now im hiding in my room feeling faint and confused and overwhelmed. I hate that she's using food to control me. Whenever I try to go get food or cook something she gets mad and tells me I don't eat her dinner bc I want to only eat takeout and waste my money. She thinks that everytime i don't eat dinner i sneak out and get takeout somehow?? No i literally just starve in my room and eat after she's gone to bed if I haven't passed out by then (she stays up late).
And my dad says i cant be yelling at her bc it sets her off but most of the time im not I do have a loud voice and sometimes i raise it when shes yelling because im trying to defend myself and im frustrated and i dont handle being yelled at well. She is always the one to raise her voice first. But apparently im just supposed to be quiet and accept her yelling and insults and horrible words. I try to walk away but that just pisses her off and shes come in my room and screamed at me before which causes me to panic and scream at her to get out. Like i know im traumatized and i cant just suppress that panicked reaction when faced with the source of it.
I hate the way she treats me and makes me feel like im just a spoiled adult teenager bullying their poor mother and i have all this guilt and self loathing. But then when I tell my friends what happened they get super disgusted and upset and i see how mothers are depicted in media and i see my friends mothers who arent also abusive and i see the differences clearly.

i saw art of hc!grian and dl!scar hanging out and hc!scar and dl!grian hanging out so you get some random writing i did cuz of it
the red sweater wearing man groaned, opening his eyes before shutting them due to the brightness of the area. his mind felt dizzy as he placed his hands over his eyes, until his hypersensitivity to the light faded and he opened his eyes once again.
the thing he noticed first was scar, looking concerned above him, but it didn't look like scar. or well, the atmosphere of scar had shifted, it wasn't the happy man he knew from hermitcraft, he had a couple extra scars and his eyes were red, not that he pays extra attention to his best friends eyes or face or anything, totally not.
the second thing he noticed was that he was in a grimy cave, the sunlight from area only from the wide open entrance which showed the sun rising above the distance, and a lone cactus, where the hell was he. the last thing he remembered was tripping and falling into the boatem hole, and suddenly he was in this weird place.
he darted up, clearly surprising the other as this, as other scar stumbled backwards.
"where am i? " he mumbled, surprisingly calm, looking at the other scar, realising for a moment he was only wearing a jacket on his upper half, showing his pecs to the world, a flush appeared on his face, imagining his scar with the same outfit.
"uh, g? you certainly couldn't have forgotten where we are! you took a bad hit to the head yeah but it wasn't that bad," the other scar said, concern growing on his face yet attempted to be hidden by a fake grin.
grian had a puzzled look on his face, a hit to the head? when? "what do you mean? i fell into the boatem hole, not get a hit to the head," genuine confusion filled his voice.
silence surrounded them for what felt like hours before scar spoke, "you aren't my grian are you?" he hummed, his smile had gone, but it was like it was a real one anyway. he looked the other up and down before landing on the eyes. the eye contact was horrible, as he stared. he thought he was going to mention his eye colour, considering how his was different to his own scar.
"you're too nice," is what the other landed on, spite filling his voice and he turned away, towards the chests. guilt creeped its way up in grians stomach, despite the fact this wasn't his scar, he wasnt the other grian.
he felt something getting given to him as scar returned, cookies, he stared at them in confusion before lifting them up to his mouth and eating them. "uh thanks? these are good. i guess it seems like every scar is great at baking," he mumbled inbetween chews, and the answer he gave seemed to satisfy the other scar, as he smiled.
it wasn't a proper scar smile that he got from his scar back on hermitcraft all the time, however, it was a sad, pathetic smile of a man who was overjoyed with the small compliment. and the guilt only grew despite not being the one to inflict this on him.
scar: oh u arent my grian i dont have to act happy anymore, anyway have a cookie cuz MY grian didnt appreciate it 🙄
i love petty dl!scar so
anyways i got tired but i might finish it later and post it to ao3 - 🧨
I'm on the floor at the way dl!Scar act just dropped immediately after figure out it wasn't his Grian
Please please finish- this little bit is so good, I wanna see dl!Grian's and hc!Scar's reaction so bad too

I'm not sure how my much inspo the duffers took from Prisoners (2013) or to what extent they borrowed details from the movie to the show but... The overall ideas are pretty interesting.
#1 being that Holly Jones specifically kidnapped children from religious families to make them lose their faith (to "wage a war on god") after her own son died of cancer. The Creels were heavily implied to be a religious family (at least Victor was), with Henry was possibly influenced by the mindflayer/taken by Brenner. Henry's character could also been possibly influenced by Holly himself as Henry's monologue to El about "unnatural structures" and human "order" could be him referencing religiousity- Christian moral structures to be extact. However where Henry got those ideas considering he's been locked in a lab since he was 12 is suspect. The Byers arent shown to be particularly religious but Will's kidnapping by the UD (the MF? Henry? Demogorgon?) is 100% inspired by Anna and Joy's kidnapping in Prisoners so... Just in interesting thought.
Both Barbara and Will were taken, Will is confirmed gay and Barbara being queercoded. Henry parallels Will (whether Henry is queer is up in the air but personally I think there's some heavy ND coding there) and you have a pattern of "different" children from a christian small town similar to the one in Prisoners perhaps being contacted in some form or another by the UD.
Leading to the second point-
#2 the people who were most punished in the movie by law enforcement and the families (Keller fuck you for real) were those who were the most victimized by Holly Jones herself. Alex was kidnapped by Holly and his mental disability (he's a grown man at this point but is still mentally 10 years old) is caused by the trauma of his kidnapping. Bob was also kidnapped by Holly and escaped after 3 weeks, the after affects of his trauma making him recreate obsessively child abductions with details similar to his own. Both these characters clearly suffer from some sort of severe damage to their psyche because of what was done to them- as a result they look the most "suspicious" when the girls are taken by Holly. Alex is taken hostage by Keller (the father of one of the missing girls) and repeatedly beaten and tortured for information, Bob is taken into custody by the police where he later commits suicide.
It's clear to see the inspo for this is the idea that when Will was kidnapped much of the town was either under the impression that he was hatecrimed or kidnapped by another "queer" (Troy quoting his father and the disgusting association back then people made between gay men and pedophilia). An already vulnerable population (one that Will we learn belongs to) blamed for Will's own kidnapping.
It's also important to note that in the movie the police did look into sex offenders in the area, but nothing turned up. They most likely also suspected Alex and Bob themselves to be of that sort, the plot twist of the movie being that it wasnt a kidnapping of that nature at all- it was Holly Jones driven by the desire to wage a war against God and turn families like hers against faith. To me, that adds a much more interest twist to the (contentious) SA allegories in ST- especially since the movie was the initial inspo for the show.
Finally, I think this is the most important theme that ST picked up from this movie in all honesty:
#3 The Oppressive Cycles: Holly wanted to make other families grieve and turn into "demons" like she had when she lost her son (this is seen in Keller who goes onto abuse one of Holly's own victims unknowingly). Doing this she took Alex, one of her own traumatized victims, and made him take part in what was done to him by her. Holly says herself in the end that Alex never put a hand on any of the children, only brought them to her and she decided if they would "stay". Most likely Alex had no clear understand of what he was really doing despite taking part in the disappearences of 16 (?) children. He was being manipulated by her while actively being held hostage even if he didn't recognize it and this point is made clear as Holly tells Keller. This is one of the most important final moments of the movie- the moment when Keller realized he had became what Holly wanted him to become, a demon like her. He even went as far as to do on a smaller scale what she did: kidnap and hold hostage someone powerless to him. To add salt to the wound, it's the same person Holly victimized herself.
And it doesn't end with Keller. Detective Loki's violent questioning of Bob before Bob kills himself- Holly had turned them all into "demons" like herself like she wanted. They both end up victimizing someone vulnerable, someone "weird" and "different" because their truama (initially inflicted by Holly) made them suspicious to those who did not care to understand. Keller at some point even excuses himself by stating that he believes Alex is pretending to be disabled.
In the end, Keller is stuck physically in a hole Holly threw him in- metaphorically the hole he dug himself into- and he blows his daughters red emergency whistle to get detective Loki's attention. The movie ends there but it's implied that Loki saves him. It's Keller, after a whole movie of rejecting Loki and his advice, finally asking for someone, anyone, to help him. He will most likely be punished for what he's done to Alex, but he's accepting that responsibility.
The whole movie follows this idea of perpetuating what was done to you, all ending with Holly who decided that others like her had to feel the same grief she did. It's about not dealing with your pain, or being unable to because youre trapped, so lashing out seems like the only way to break out.
These cycles are so pertinent to ST. Billy Hargrove and his father. Henry's behavior recruiting those (like El) whom he believes is like himself and his plan to destroy the structures that have trapped him and failed him. I don't believe it's a conincidence that Holly explicitly wants to turn others into "demons" and that's the exact wording Henry used to describe himself.
Now do I believe that Henry is directly inspired by Holly Jones? Or is he inspired by one of her victims? It's iffy. It really depends on what will be revealed in s5.

sat down recently to power through pokemon violet [laptop was in for repairs].
i think so many months out from its release and with a lot of the buzz around it died down i can settle on a lot more coherent of an opinion on it. and that opinion is that scarlet and violet are at their best when its doing things to actually encourage exploration of the environment. theres some really fascinating lil mini areas here and there with a solid atmosphere one can just indulge in as they scrounge in the dirt for interesting pokemon.
it certainly makes battles more tedious then ever however since without the constrained angles and forced camera perspectives of the pocket battle dimension the spectacle doesnt hit that hard and without that spectacle how much time each battle takes up becomes ever more rapidly apparent from playing out animations to loading up battles [its not quite that bad but it is noticeably longer compared to the 'hayday' of pokemons inception where battles load in split seconds]. it breaks up the pace too much effectively.
and the performance does bite it quite badly in certain spots regardless of what ya do, which does unavoidably hamper things.
as for gameplay, well i haven't quite gotten to the very end of things i will note [for anyone who hasn't already figured this out anyways] that the most natural way of doing the whole thing is in my opinion just tackling whichever titan/don/gym is closest from your starting pick until ya hit a roadblock. the upgrades you aquire from doing so come at a natural pace that way as does the level curve.
as for each of the 'individual' [as i would honestly say the game was more so geared for doing everything at once] paths though
victory road: the easiest of the god damn paths and clearly geared towards being your first path/the most noob friendly. the last gym leader is nearly ten levels lower across all of his pokemon then the last titan or don. the gym challenges themselves range from insipidly easy, to this is literally just a gauntlet, to actually kinda fun and interesting [the normal gym challenge being the highlight honestly]. as for this crop of gym leaders can't say im a fan either, they arent bad they just dont elicit much interest from me.
legendary titans: the middle difficulty path where the only challenge is if your pokemon are leveled enough to not immediately die. if your at or just a lil below parity with em, the titan fights can be pretty fun but if your hitting well above their level they quickly become a joke. it needed something more then just the titan fights as the pokemon themselves are literally just out in the open and marked on your map even when they change positions. there needed to be some sort of minigame where ya wrangle them down before you can actually fight them, then we'd be getting somewhere.
operation starfall: the most difficult path, the dons tend to be higher level then the local gym leaders as noted before, and their god damn super cars are tougher then the titan pokemon on the whole even packing some nasty strategies behind them [with the best soundtrack for their fights by far compared to the other paths]. would be the highlight of things if not for the fact that the lead up to them is pretty boring and completely toothless. eri kicked my ass [in part because of my own lazy strategies and a team makeup that was particularly vulnerable to her] a couple of times but the slugfest with her goons was a leisurely stroll by comparison. i think operation starfall would have been a shineout example in the game [and possibly worth the price of admission alone] had the challenges before each don fight been both more varied and more challenging/active in participation. say with atticus ya have to sneak through his base like a ninja before ya can fight him, well with eri its a battle gauntlet with no rests against tough pokemon to mimic the 'mountain climb' the game has ya do.
and as for story
victory road: well im not thrilled on the gym leaders and the elite four ya get hints of before hand [i do appreciate seeing the elite four before challenging them atleast], i like nemona quite a lot as a rival striking the right balance of friendly but still competitive a lot of other friendly rivals completely miss the boat on. he enthusiasms just kinda infectious really. and the goku memes do help brighten my opinion on her. because they are absolutely true.
legendary titans: the most emotional i got was with arven and the dog, and i can fully admit thats because it speaks more to my own experiences then arvens strained relation with his dad. arven himself just feels a bit to awkwardly written for me to fully get onboard with myself, like i like him well enough but more so despite of the writing rather then because of it.
operation starfall: well the battles might have been the best, the story definitely feels the weakest and its frustrating to feel that way about it. like its clear what they wanna do there, what themes they wanna tackle about bullying and how it can be more complicated then adults make it out to be, and on not judging people on appearances or eccentric behaviour, themes that are good to teach kids in general, and all that. i dont even dislike the dons themselves. its just... i can feel the writers hand at work here demanding i feel sympathy for these people and that just makes me wanna dig my heels in on the matter and say 'no i will not blindly awe at the sap story your putting on here'. not helped by penny's motives for wanting to break up the thing she started feeling confused [though i can admit thats probably part of the point] but more importantly so underwritten. in fact she just feels the most underwritten of the three of them [arven, nemona and penny] in general which probably isn't helping the emotional impact of it.
might follow up on this once i polish the very ends of the game off.

Do you have any tips to help someone who keeps failing? I have been trying for several years now to get started and feeling more and more hopeless every year. I have attended $$$ events, lost weight, moved closer to major cities. Then of course COVID struck and made things worse. Is there something I can do that can help me gain an "in" or are certain things just not meant for some girls.
KEEP TRYING !!!
Yes i screamed it...  but that’s because thats the most important thing in succeeding.
Secondly Congrats on taking the steps and trying.....
(THIS MIGHT MAKE MAKE YOU NEUROTIC.... If you already are then DO NOT DO THIS)
The following is also important
1.) Have you asked your self why you keep failing?
Take a pen and paper and spend an entire day by yourself. Think, play things over in your head and Analyze.... This is probably the only time i truly suggested, over analyzing the crap out of your life, decisions, faliures and successes.
(a) What mistakes, do you keep making? or What mistakes do you think you keep making.
(b) what makes them mistakes
(c) Would those actions have worked out better in something else or displayed to someone else
(d) who and/or what would this action work on
2.) List your obstacles ... Every single one you could think of...
Make 3 categories
.....Obstacles you have gone through - What caused it? who caused it? (Regardless of who caused it... You owe some responsibility... so still own up to it... But remember BE KIND to yourself...)
There is a fine line between being kind to yourself  and completely absolving yourself of any responsibility when owning up to the responsibility of things gone wrong
......Obstacles repeated - How do you NOT repeat this Again?
.......Obstacles Imagined and Obstacles that could still happen (based on different things, character flaws, finances, men’s personalities, race, looks, nature) Get as detailed as needed.
Man plans and God unplans ...
However, as humans we have ability to at least create contingencies... try to come up with possible contingency plan and POSSIBLE action on how to still not stand still when one of those obstacles appear... Basically figure out another way to scale through, wiggle through, swim through... whatever way (As long as there is life, health and will... there is a way.... After all people have clawed out of dungeous using only a stick or even their finger nails)
3.)  What have you tried that didnt work? or keeps failing... List it
4.) What ever #3 is that didnt work... What is the alternative that you haven’t tried.
5.) Clearly you see this as an investment if you have lost weight, moved etc... What is missing in the picture? (I don’t know you, nor have I spent time with you or know your thinking process or views... So this is something even if you dont know what is missing... You have to sit and think... Sleep on it, give it time but remain introspective but be mindful to know when clarity presents itself.
Being brutally Honest with yourself is the only way to know what is missing and where you are missing.
Example: I met a gorgeous black girl A few months ago. From the get go, I knew she was hypergamous... The men also knew. But there was something missing and i couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Until we were all talking with the men present.
She carried herself as a pretty girl, sweet and bubbly... But she made the mistake of trying to emulate the white woman’s countenance... So she could be doted on same as a white woman... I can’t explain this in detail.
But while it is good to emulate things noteworthy in other people... She lost her self and her own personal spark.  As a black woman... She avoided the pitfalls of a stereotypical black woman (quote on quote)... in the process, she mistakenly lost her goddess quality and blended in with the rest.  The men moved on from her.
My Point is: WHAT IS MISSING... Are your run of the Mill? What is your core
6.) Standard -
Do you have set standards? expectations of yourself and of the Men and of your surroundings?
Do you keep it? Do you up hold it or do you switch or lower it under pressure?
Not to give too much information... I refused to live in the poor neighborhood when i moved off college campus. I lived in a condo and lived Smack in the center of the wealthy part of the city. I was not in this lifestyle then... But it was simply my standards... And even though it meant staying on campus longer till i got it... I did that.
Example 2: I have friends who do not care what hole they enter to get entertained (granted you can meet people anywhere)... But I am not the type that goes out very often... So why will i waste my few outings in some frat boys bar or club. So I go to high end places.
Example 3: I met a man who recently sold his company with upwards of $80 Million... I wasn’t told... I was aware of the process and listened to him through the proceess complain about delay in the closing and trying to avoid tax etc
He was deperate to meet me in person. As a matter of fact the day he closed. He flew me to his city (I went cause i was bored).  Long story Short... He is the type of man that got lucky... There isn’t much in terms of comparison... Thinks he knows everything, thinks himself black people’s savior and makes comments such as “If there were black women like you”...  Has some racists views he doesn’t think is racists... I met his friends... I liked one (But he just recently got remarried and was the smartest of the bunch). They had pissing games who had thr most rolex collection etc... He was crazy about me... Still is even without so much as a kiss and i spent a weekend there. (Had my own hotel room)
But, I knew while the money was there, he was generous and was crazy about me... It would drive me nuts being with him and interacting with his friends... My standard here is that I won’t deal with any man who so much as stresses me mentally especially as I am a black woman... I won’t take nonsense.
My Point is : What do you compromise on that you do? It is a long road being steadfast to your standard... But it has been worth it for me.
Do not use anyone’s standard... Create your own and work on keeping it... Men will despise you for it... But respect you all the same.... It is a weird placed to be.
7.) What type of events do you attend. When you attend events, go out etc... What do you do? How do you approach these events? Do you wing it? Do you plan it?  Are you fearless and confident or shy or just pleasant enough to exchange pleasantries alone? What vibe do you give off?
How do you dress? Different styles can come across different ways... Some ooze Sexy, some ooze elegance with a hint of sexy, some basic, some regular, some say just another event person
8.) Closer to Major cities : what part of that do you live? Even if you are not in the center of things... Where do you go when you go out? How often to do go to wealthy areas, who do you interact with there?
There is a plethora of questions who have to ask yourself.
With Covid I have met people (but then, I work for myself and have more freedom to move around and also take mini vacation in other cities) And I already have a network... So, I have a  leg up -
But, I know girls here and people are also still meeting people.
What is stopping you? What avenues and methods have you tried? Have you thought outside the box?
Hopeless? No... Wrong direction... As you fail you learn things that dont work so that should make you hopeful.
Also, I am a big beliver in manifestation and law of attraction. Feeling hopless will only make things more hopless...It will attract more faliure...
Find ways to think more positively, ways to turn negative things into potentially positive things... In this case you do not have to be rational... Imagine everything negative happening has a positive...
e.g  : A man cancelled on you = It wasn’t meant to be... It might have turned into a terrible situation for you... Thank God or the universe for saving you from whatever it is you arent aware of.
eg : Covid happening : Time to make more money, invest. Brush yourself up, level up some more, learn new ways to meet this men and become more resilient so you come out fire when, the world isnt tupsy turvy
e.g : Getting older: Perfect, the more sure and certain you become in yourself, the more you actually find out what makes you stand apart, the more you find out who you are and realize that whatever amount a man was going to give you last year, you’ve outgrown it with age, maturity, acheivements etc.
You get the gist.... NEVER FEEL HOPELESS
You can feel sad... But not hopeless... Dust yourself up and try again...
Maybe one day i will take time out to share some of my own short comings and faliures... Cause i think we share the successes much more;  that people think there aren’t mistakes and faliures and short comings... I have had them, and I continue to work and fix them.
The only thing is after my introspection... and brow beating myself and figuring it out...i don’t like to dwell on the faliures... I put my self to work updating myself. Besides I think sharing more good news brings more good news and vibes... But, there isn’t anyone that can claim to not have had obstacles and faliures.
Finally: My sister beleives everyone has a destiny... But everyone is also capable of changing theirs...
With regards to your question...  About certain type of girls ...
The Answer is NO...
Some people might find it harder, or lack the resources and know how
But trying, pushing ones self, acquiring knowlegde and doing whatever it takes (of course within reason and comfines of morality ) Is what makes the difference.
As i write... I know women who took their entire savings to go to ST Barts for New Year...  (Would I? NO) But some would... My point is.
You will go as far as you are capable of seeing yourself go.
So if you want a change in your pattern... You have to break the wheel... Try something new you haven’t tried yet... And a new approach.
Question for you: “Gain an in?” Into what circle do you want an in? What type of man

I'm not sure what this little snippet is, but enjoy it anyway I guess aha!
-------------------------------------
It was about time the hero tried a different tactic. They were tired of waiting for the villain to do something, then showing up to stop it. This time, the hero wanted to stop the villain before anything happened in the first place.
It was genius, really, and was something the hero really should have tried a long time ago.
The only problem, was *finding* the villain in the first place.
It wasn't like the hero had a home adress.
He'd spent nearly two hours scouring the city, hopping from rooftop to rooftop with no sign of anything abnormal when he heard a faint, almost whimpering sound.
The hero was thankful they had heightened senses, otherwise they may not have heard it at all.
They used their super strength to climb up the tall building, continuing to hop a few more rooftops when they froze.
Their eyes landed on the villan. He was sitting on a slightly sloped roof, back against a brick wall where the building continued upward. Their knees where pulled taught to their chest, cape wrapped around them like a blanket to shield them from the chill of the cool night air. One arm was wrapped around their knees, holding their dagger while the other hand was wiping at their face, trying to disperse the tears- *they were crying*.
The hero suddenly felt uneasy. What were they supposed to do here? They always saw the villain as cold, heartless, emotionless but, clearly that wasnt the case. They weren't sure what to do, or even how to feel with that information.
Information they clearly weren't supposed to have, given how high up and secluded this spot was. The villain clearly wanted to be left alone.
But, they were a hero! They're job was to help people and this villain was clearly in distress! He couldnt just leave!
They jumped onto the same roof as the villain, who didnt seem to notice. They were still a good 7-10 meters away from them, but the villain was usually very intune with the environment. The hero had never been able to get even near this close to them without the villain being fully aware.
They were now close enough to use their enhanced hearing to hear the ragged breathes and rapid heartbeat of the other.
The hero took a breath.
"Beautiful night out tonight," the hero offered in a friendly, conversational tone. They were smart enough to know that directly asking what was wrong wouldnt get them anywhere.
The villains reply came in form of a violent flinch and sharp inhale of breath. Their head snapped to look at the hero, shock and... was that *fear* written all over their face?
The villain never wore a mask, much like the hero, but they did usually have a hood down over their face, so being able to see it this clearly was strange.
However, with being able to see it this clearly, the hero could see how red and puffy the area around their eyes were, their cheeks thoroughly damp with tears, their eyes red.
The villain immediately directed their dagger at the hero, scrambling backwards across the roof frantically.
The hero held their hands up, "I come in peace,"
The villain stared at them in shock for a moment, "why are you... what... how long have you been..."
Before the hero could reply, the villain shook their head, steeling their features and pushing themselves to their feet. They wiped their face and took a deep breath, grasping for some sense of composure.
"What do you want?!" They snapped, "Why are you here?!"
Their grip tightened on their dagger.
"Theres no need for that, I come in peace, I swear," the hero tried.
"As if you would ever show up just to chat," the villain hissed.
The hero surveyed the situation. Clearly, the villain, who was usually overly composed and smooth, was distressed.
The villain was doing a good job faking composure, but it was obvious in way their fret twitched, weight shifting from foot to foot, fingers flexing while their eyes darted all over the place. They were one wrong word away from taking off.
Right now, the hero was a threat, and he needed to be seen as not one.
Slowly- very slowly, so the villain could track their movements, the hero sat down on the roof, sliding themselves to sit back against the brick wall like the villan had previously. He bend a knee, resting his elbow on it as he looked out at the city. They didnt look over at the villain, trusting their super hearing to tell them if they moved.
"The view from up here is pretty breath taking," The hero commented casually.
"What?"
"My favourite spots are usually around the inner city, like the tops of the big office buildings, but this spot might be even better, with the already tall building being on a hill and all."
Finially the hero dared a glance at the villain.
They were standing in the same spot, though their posture was more relaxed. They were staring at the hero with a dumbstruck look on their face.
"What are you doing?" They asked, narrowing their eyes.
"I mean, we could talk about the weather if youd rather?" The hero smirked.
The villain glanced away, seemingly considering running again.
"Come on," the hero added, "it's not like you have anything interesting going on tonight,"
"That's a rude assumption to make," The villain replied jokingly, crossing his arms and relaxing more as he glanced at his feet.
"Please, you know if you had something important going on tonight I would have been bat signaled already,"
The villain snorted at that. They gave the hero another look over, before caving and settling back down against the roof.
"Is this your way of telling me your bored? Have I not been active enough for you?"
"Thats- not what I meant," the hero sputtered, causing the villain to chuckle slightly.
The hero glanced over, watching the villain twirl his dagger in the air mindlessly. Or, well, mindedly, considering they were using their telekinesis. But it was twirling in a non threatening way, just spinning in the air like a spin top.
"That's a pretty cool trick," the hero commented.
"What? Oh-" the villain blushed, plucking the dagger out of the air like he hadn't even realized hed been doing it.
"sometimes I wish I had a cooler power," the hero started so the villain wouldnt have to explain themselves.
"Wait, really?" The villan asked, looking at the hero in shock.
"Yeah, I mean, dont get me wrong, enhanced senses and strength are certainly handy, but they arnt as cool as like flight,"
The villain hummed, fidgeting with the dagger in their hands, twirling the tip against their finger.
"Super senses also have their downsides, like when someone is trying to surprise you by baking you something, but you can smell it before you even get in the house,"
"I get the feeling theres a story there,"
"Friends tried to throw me a surprise party, I could hear them shuffling and whispering from down the hall, and I could smell the cake and such,"
"Only a hero would view not being able to be surprised as a *downside*" the villain replied, rolling their eyes.
"I guess I shouldn't complain though, it helps with being a hero a lot, without the hearing I probably wouldnt have heard you,"
Out of the corner of his eye, the hero saw the villain immediately tense, bristling slightly.
"Is that why your here? Doing this? You think I'm someone in need of saving?" They hissed.
"Partly," the hero admitted, "I dont think anyone deserves to be alone when there upset, but I'm also making sure you arent up to anything dastardly,"
"Oh yeah, I'm always doing something villainous alright, like crying on a rooftop," they replied mockingly, before realizing they were admitting to crying.
"I wont pressure you into an answer, but you know I have to ask..." the hero replied after a moment of silence.
"Theres no way-"
"Before you turn me down," the hero interjected, "consider I'm one of the few people who may actually understand, considering the uh... line of work,"
The villain stared with a blank, unreadable expression for a few moments, before huffing and looking off to the horizon again.
"Its the anniversary of something. That's the only information your getting,"
The hero hummed in response, continuing to look off into the horizon. They both stayed silent.
In the end, it was the villain who broke it.
"I need to go." They stated, standing up.
"oh really? Where are you off to?" The hero asked with genuine curiosity.
The villain shot them a baffled look, "you know I'm not going to tell you that... right?"
"Oh,"
"Your weird, hero,"
"Why thank you," The hero joked.
"Until next time," The villain stated, before stepping backwards off the roof.
"Farewell!" The hero called.
Things were... different after that night.

Saw your fic requests.... do u do megstiel cos i'd love something with branding involved and maybe caring/loving cas looking after a grumpy meg who pretends she hates him looking after her but secretly loves it? soz if you ship destiel bt though id ask as there arent many megstiel fics out there.
Tumblr media
hello anon! megstiel isn’t really my thing, but destiel definitely isn’t, and, for someone who isn’t involved with the spn fandom anymore, i actually quite enjoyed writing this. i’m sorry this took me so long - i hope you see it, and if you do, i hope you like it.
@badthingshappenbingo prompt: branding
fandom: supernatural
ao3 | 1.1k | canon-typical violence, hurt/comfort, teen+
Cas had been prepared to find demons. Frankly, he would have been concerned if he didn’t find demons, given that that was his mission here. What he hadn’t been prepared for, however, was to find two demons torturing another, pressing the hot end of a branding iron into her forearm.
He killed the two torturers with practised ease, barely wasting a moment before they were both on the dirty, wooden floor, eyes burned out their sockets. Only then did he allow his surprise to catch up to him, breathing heavily as his gaze settled on someone he hadn’t seen in a long time.
Meg.
She eyed him warily, cocking an curious eyebrow when he made no move towards her. “You here to kill me, too, Clarence?” she asked, voice weak with disuse, yet still carrying hints of her trademark snark. It was almost enough to make Cas smile, but he flinched away from her as Naomi’s voice entered his head, urging him to get it over with.
No, he reasoned back. She has no love for Crowley; she can be useful to us.
Naomi didn’t seem to agree, but she did not force the issue. Cas turned back to Meg, who was watching him with a smirk on her lips. It felt as though she was seeing right through him, somehow knowing exactly what had just happened even though that was beyond impossible.
“Well?” she said, in a way that suggested she knew the answer.
Cas paused a moment longer, then sighed, moving to undo her bonds. “No,” he said, avoiding her eyes. “I’m not going to kill you.”
“That’s good. Guess we’ll have to find some other way to occupy our time then, you know what I’m saying?”
Flashes of a desperate kiss in the heat of the moment flickered through Cas’s memory; he grit his teeth against it and kept working in silence. For all her bravado, all her swagger, Meg couldn’t stop her vessel from betraying her when Cas finally got her free, slumping forward with a pained cry, Cas’s grip on her shoulders the only thing stopping her from falling to the floor.
“My hero,” she muttered sarcastically, already trying to push away from him. Cas let her, standing impassively as Meg maneuvered herself back into the chair. He didn’t know what to do now - this was never part of the plan. He was supposed to go in, kill the demons, and get out again, but now… He couldn’t just leave her here, he didn’t have that in him even after everything, but he couldn’t abandon his task. Naomi wouldn’t let him, even if he wanted to.
(and a part of him - a larger part than he wanted to admit - did want to, desperately. cas tried to ignore it)
(he failed)
In the end, Meg decided for him, leaning forward as much as she could and fixing Cas with a suggestive look. “Don’t suppose you know where I can get a drink, huh?”
*
He found some whiskey - several bottles, in fact - stashed away in a cupboard, and hesitated only a second before handing one to Meg. She took a large sip, wrinkling her nose a little at the taste, before shrugging and drinking again. The bottle, already half-empty, was drained in moments, and Meg clicked her fingers, signalling for another. Cas sighed but did as she asked, settling himself in a chair opposite her, his eyes roving up and down her body.
Meg clearly noticed his observations, as she laughed into her bottle. “Like what you see?”
He met her eyes, pursing his lips. “You’re hurt,” he said.
“Nice going, genius,” Meg replied, rolling her eyes. “What gave it away?”
Cas didn’t blush, but he felt a distinct embarrassment creep up on him as he realised the obviousness of his own statement. Aside from the branding he had walked in on, Meg’s wrists were rubbed raw from the ropes and there was blood all over her face, courtesy of a split lip and a sizable gash at her hairline. When she smiled, her teeth were stained red, and, though she was clearly trying to hide it, she intermittent winces whenever she moved indicated the level of her pain. He glanced around the cabin quickly, figuring his chances of finding any sort of medical supplies or even a clean cloth were slim to none.
“Wait here,” he instructed, not catching her response before disappearing.
*
When he returned, Cas had to admit to more than a little surprise at the sight of Meg still sitting exactly where he’d left her. He’d been gone for mere seconds, but he was half-expecting her to do a runner the moment he left her alone, even as injured as she was.
She did, however, frown in displeasure when she saw the items in his hands. Cas simply sent her a meaningful look, returning to his seat and shuffling closer.
“Your wounds have festered,” he explained, taking her hands gently in his own. “They need taking care of.”
Meg huffed but refrained from further comment as she watched Cas clean and wrap the rope burns on her wrists. When he went to tend to the brand, she caught his arm, their gazes meeting briefly before she relented and let him continue. Cas winced at the ugly markings, something stirring in his stomach at the thought of Meg being treated this way.
But he shoved it down, not willing to even attempt to unpack it, and taped some gauze over the wound. He was struck with the urge to kiss the area, instead spending a long while staring down at her arm, unconsciously rubbing his thumb gently over her skin.
It must have been several minutes later when he finally looked up, finding a startling vulnerability in Meg’s eyes when they met his. It barely lasted for a second, however, swiftly replaced by a sparkling amusement.
“Look at us, huh,” she said drily, taking another swig of whiskey. “One of God’s holy soldiers patching up a demon from the pits of Hell. Who’da thought it?”
Cas’s lips lifted into a half-smile. “Stranger things have happened.”
She hummed, tilting her head in agreement. “True.”
Silence fell, but not the awkward kind that so often followed Cas around. It felt...different with Meg, in a way he couldn’t quite explain. His gaze never left Meg’s; his fingers remained curled around her wrist, even though the need to hold on had long since passed.
Meg smiled, Cas tracking her movements as she raised the whiskey to her lips. “Why are you so sweet on me, Clarence?” she asked.
“I don’t know,” Cas answered honestly. “I suppose it just...feels right.”
Meg nodded, smirking in a way that indicated her satisfaction at his reply. She shuffled forward, slotting their legs together, and leaned over so they were inches apart. “And this?”
Cas nodded, moving to grasp at her forearms, fingers gentle around the brand. “Right,” he assured.
And, when she closed the distance between them, Cas knew that nothing could be more right than this.

Youngblood
Shoto Todoroki x Reader
Warning: swearing, arranged dating/marriage, fluff, uni students
Summary: Shoto was an attractive man who could get anyone he wanted, which so happens to be you. However, he wanted you for a different reason. A reason you somehow agreed upon.
Tumblr media
If there was one thing you hated, it would be entitled people. Someone who believed they were better than others. Someone who believed they deserved special treatment. Someone who always got it their way. And that was exactly what Shoto Todoroki was.
Shoto Todoroki. By far, the most self-centered, narcissistic asshole. He always treated people as if they were all below him. To be fair, he was raised in an extremely wealthy and famous family, thanks to his dad. You didn’t understand why girls liked him, desperate to gain at least a second of his attention. A bunch of simps, you would say.
Tapping the tip of your pencil on the desk, you rolled your eyes watching your classmates gawk at Shoto for doing absolutely nothing. You had to give it to him though. Shoto was phenomenally talented for being the most unexciting thing to look at, yet here he was gaining everyone’s attention. All he ever did was stand, eat, stand, write, stand, sit, and all the girls would go flying. He may be a quiet person but when he opens that irritating mouth, the dickhead in him comes out real quick.
The bell rung and it was difficult to leave, having to shove your way through the zombified bodies. Leaving the building that was like a prison felt amazing until you realized you forgot your textbook. Groaning, you swing yourself back around, walking towards the dreadful area. The school had cleared out and you were the only one visibly there. Turning the corner, you were met with a hard surface. You clutched your nose, squeezing your eyes shut in pain. “What the fuck. You almost broke my nose.”
Shoto gave you a blank stern look, hands tucked into the pockets of his black pants. He definitely looked like he didn’t care, judging by his body language and lack of sympathy. “It already looked broken to begin with.” Before you could even think of a comeback, you heard a loud voice behind him.
“And who is this, Shoto?”
The number one pro hero now stood beside him, hand placed on his son’s shoulder. It was quickly shoved off, followed by a loud clear of his throat. Shoto was in deep thought, before answering his father.
“This is my girlfriend, (y/n).”
His what? Did you hear that correctly? You eyed Shoto with pure confusion. He only gave you the same blank stare he’d give anyone, except with a tiny hint of plead. You brushed it off and played into it, nodding your head with a cheerful smile.
“Is that so?”
The intimidating man eyed you up and down, before nodding and giving you a smile. He gave his son a tight side hug, Shoto being clearly uncomfortable by it. “I’m so proud of you, Shoto. You finally decided to find a girl yourself.” He turned his attention away from his son and towards you. “I hope your quirk is powerful so the Todoroki generation can grow-”
On second thought, nevermind. No way would you carry Shoto’s children, especially not if they’ll turn out like him. You opened your mouth to speak, interrupted by a hand smacking on top of it. Shoto grabbed your hand, waving his dad off and dragging you to the nearest corner. Once he made sure his dad was out of sight, he turned back to you.
“Look, I can explain.”
“You better explain. What the hell is he talking about? Are you planning on impregnating me?”
A million questions shot at him at once, the both of you feeling hugely overwhelmed. Shoto grew frustrated at your constant questions and bickering. “Okay, shut up. Look, it was either you or one of the other crazy girls and I’m not looking forward to that. If I didn’t choose now, I would be forced to marry someone I didn’t want. But I got a plan.” He waved his hands, expressing every word that came out of his mouth.
The vexed stare you gave made him feel uneasy. You waited for him to speak. Once he realized you were all ears, he continued. “My family and I are staying at our cottage for a week. If you pretend to be my girlfriend for who knows how long, I’ll help pay your tuition.” Is this fool serious? There was no way in hell that you would do this.
Shoto placed the last luggage in the SUV, waiting no longer to catch his breath. Change of plans, you eventually ended up agreeing. Who could resist such an offer?
“I said were going on a week trip. You’re acting like your moving in.”
The heat from the sun was too hefty, only a small trace of a light breeze. You fanned yourself with the rolled up magazine then whacked it on his back. “I mean in the situation we’re in, I practically am.” Shoto was done with you as you could tell by his expression, making his way towards Natsuo. Earlier, you met his two siblings and you were surprised on how kind they were.
You climbed your way into the window seat, plopping yourself down and feeling the cool air hit your skin. You opened your eyes, noticing Shoto’s mom glancing at you from the rear seat view mirror. This was the first time you were meeting her and you were making a fool out of yourself. Feeling embarrassed, you awkwardly laughed. “Very hot out there, isn’t it?”
She only gave you one last look, returning her gaze back outside. Did having no expression run in the family? After a couple of minutes, everyone got in and the car started moving. Only 7 minutes passed and Shoto was already irritated by the closeness of your bodies. He discreetly shoved your arm that was next to his. “Move your arm, it’s blocking my blood circulation.”
The heat was already aggravating you, Shoto’s complaint only adding fuel to the fire. You purposely dropped your phone, reaching to grab it. Before you lifted yourself up, you made sure to ‘lightly’ elbow his groin. Shoto yelped in pain, catching Endevour’s attention off of the road and onto the ruckus. “What’s going on back there?”
You both simultaneously shook your head and spoke. “Nothing.” The rest of the car ride was quiet, Fuyumi and Natsuo pitching in conversations from time to time.
The sun had fallen down, car finally coming to a stop and you were met with the most beautiful view. Shoto getting out of the car, leaving your sight. Aside from that, a big wooden cottage, bright green grass, and a huge open lake. Everyone took their suitcases and made their way inside the house. You stopped in the hallway, unsure of where to place your belongings.
“You can stay with Shoto. Please plan your future’s wisely. Although it’d be happy to have a strong grandchild, I prefer for you two to wait until after university.” You felt your cheeks heat up in embarrassment. As if on cue, Shoto laced his hand into yours, leading you to his room. He closed the door behind him, quickly releasing his grip on you. “Your hands are sweaty.”
Rolling your eyes, you let yourself fall on top of his bed. He gazed over at you with a questioned look, pointing at the white bean bag placed in the corner of his room. “What are you doing? Your bed’s over here.” You sat yourself up, facing him. “Are you crazy? I’m not sleeping on that small thing!”
“Well, I’m paying your tuition, aren’t I?”
“And I’m doing you the favour, arent I?”
Shoto closed his mouth in defeat. You scooted yourself to the other side, making room for him. Grabbing an extra pillow, he laid it between you two and awkwardly climbed onto the bed.
The sleep wasn’t as bad as you thought it’d be. The only thing you could complain about was his obnoxiously loud snores. The next morning, you and the Todoroki’s planned on going fishing by the lake.
You stood beside a calm Shoto, impatiently waiting for a fish to take your bait. You tapped your foot with annoyance, letting out a groan and dropping your rod. Shoto shook his head and smirked at you, a fish finally on his hook. “Let me show you how a real boyfriend does it.”
Shoto lifted the rod back up in the air and lowered it back down, spinning the reel. He repeated this until the fish was now in his hands. The Todoroki’s praised him, mostly Endeavour. You scoffed and picked up your rod, but only this time, you attached the hook onto the back collar of Shoto’s shirt. You acted as if you were waiting before you shouted that you got something. You copied Shoto’s previous steps, catching him by surprise as he felt himself jerk back suddenly. Everyone laughed and you turned around, making eye contact with a smiling Rei. You felt accomplished for making her expressive for once.
The dinner prepping was tiresome. Rei was setting up the fish while you and Fuyumi were cutting up vegetables. You pushed your hair away from your face with your forearm, only for it to fall back in place. You glanced at Shoto who was reading whatever was on his phone. “Shoto! Would you be a dear and push away my hair?” You sang in a medieval tone.
He sighed and placed his phone on the table, heading towards you. He placed his hand above the loose strand of hair, taking notice of your features. He never really noticed exactly how pretty you were up until now, being this up close to you. His eyes softened and travelled from each feature, quickly gaining back consciousness. He scruffled your hair as an attempt to annoy you, which it did. Shoto laughed, ignoring your angry scolds. Rei smiled to herself, turning off the faucet and drying her hands.
“I’m going to my room. Call me when dinner’s ready.” You and Shoto were too busy bickering, Fuyumi giving her mom a thumbs up.
Dinner was finally ready and you ran up the stairs to get Shoto’s mom. Her door was slightly opened, the light from her room paving it’s way through the darkness of the hall. You creaked open the door, seeing Rei holding a silver hair pin in her hands. She glanced up at you and pat the empty seat beside her, sending you a bright smile.
“Come sit with me for a quick minute, (y/n). I actually wanted to see you.”
You walked towards the empty spot on the bed, sitting down beside her. Rei danced her fingers along the jewels of the pin before speaking.
“In the Todoroki family, it’s a tradition for the moms to pass down immortal items to their daughters. Fuyumi already has one just like this.”
Rei turned to you, holding your hand.
“I want to thank you for being there for Shoto. I know he’s a stubborn boy but he’s got a kind heart. This family is a bit broken, but we’re still strong. When he first told me about you, I thought you were just a fantasy.”
Your ears perked up at the mention of you, curious to know more.
“He’d describe how smart you were in school or how you weren’t materialistic like the other girls. When I was in the hospital, he’d always visit and talk about you the whole entire day. He loves you a lot (y/n) and I couldn’t be anymore happier to have you apart of this family.”
You were shocked, unable to say or do anything. Rei released your hand and placed the silver hair pin on it, gently closing it with hers.
“Even though you aren’t mine by blood, I’ll always see you as my own daughter.”
Shoto stayed up later than the others, having the responsibility to be on dishes. After he was done, he quietly made his way upstairs to his room. You were deep asleep and Shoto couldn’t help but smile. He readjusted the barrier pillow and laid beside you, almost ready to sleep before something caught his eyes. He lifted his head up, seeing the recognizable silver hair pin laying on the nightstand.
Yesterday’s events kept replaying in your head. You rested your forearm on your forehead, laying on your shared bed with a still asleep Shoto. You glanced at the clock, reading 8 am. You sighed and pushed yourself up, heading to the bathroom to brush your teeth then downstairs towards the porch. You sat outside on the steps, resting your eyes while the cold morning breeze hit you. It was like that for a good 10 minutes before a nudge on your back interrupted your peace, now opened eyes turning to see a half awakened Shoto. He sat beside you with a coffee in hand. After a peaceful silence, he spoke up with a soft voice.
“My mom doesn’t like talking to people outside of us so I’m surprised she talked to you.”
You sat quietly, unable to think of a response. How did he know you talked to her? Did he hear any of the conversation?
“What did she talk about?”
You played with your fingers, feeling anxious and under pressure. You weren’t sure if you should tell him all or nothing. “We just talked about the family and she gave me a hair pin.”
He nodded, looking down at his cup of coffee in relief.
“And something else.”
Shoto gazed at you, waiting for you to go on. You took a deep breath in before continuing.
“She told me that you used to talk about me when you visited her.”
The atmosphere grew tense. He froze, refusing to look at you. He gave up and thought it would be best to let his pride down. Shoto placed the mug beside him, leaning on the wooden railing.
“Ever since we started university, you always caught my eyes. You never acted like the other girls and you kept true to me and yourself. I’m not the best at expressing my feelings so i’m sorry if this is a little confusing.”
The news came piling down on you like a ton of bricks. You never knew Shoto felt this way and to hear it from him was mind blowing. You always found him attractive but you also denied any feelings towards him. He spun his head to face you, leaning in closer.
“The truth is, I really like you, (y/n). And you don’t have to like me back, I just needed to let it out and let you know. If you feel uncomfortable, we can stop this fake relationship.”
You wasted no time, crashing your lips onto Shoto’s. He flinched at your sudden move, eventually slowly relaxing into the kiss. His hand caressed you cheek, the other pulling you in closer. Your lips danced under the morning sun and for a split second, you forgot what time of day it was. It didn’t matter at this moment when you had Shoto. You pulled back for air and before you could dive back in, a voice cleared behind you.
“Uh, when you guys are ready, there’s pancakes. They’re really good.”
Natsuo stood awkwardly by the door with a plate of pancakes. He scrunched his nose in disgust, shutting the front door behind him. Shoto smiled, pulling away to his side of the stairs.
“So, do you still want to fake date or make it official?”
You interlocked your fingers with his, pulling him towards you so that he could lay on your lap. Playing with his soft hair, you didn’t even think twice.
“Lets make it official.”
You placed one last kiss on his forehead, both getting up to dust yourselves off and heading inside for breakfast.

MiKayla meets Chloe and Belle for the first time after being seperated from the rest of the world almost all her life. Mikayla all of a sudden finds herself back in the old world when they explain everything that has been going on, with one goal. To take down it all.
*DISCLAIMERS*
This is not about the dream smp member, this is a time where they have grown up and had kids, which is told from their perseptive.
This was written in a time where all these people were alive story wise, so fuck it, they all lived to have kids. No, i will not be explaining where the kids come from, but they are related to their respective parent. Im just too lazy to explain it
And in this, TOMMY AND TUBBO ARE JUST FRIENDS. Stop shipping 16 year olds together, and get your life together.
Chapter one: running and hiding
Everything had been diffrent for awhile. Not that anything about chloe's life was normal to begin with, but alot was changing. Her and her family was forced into hiding a long time ago, before the first retakeover happened before she was even born.
She had been told what had happened countless times, so many it was almost like she lived it. The manburg second rise to power. When her dad stuck around. That was, till Niki got killed in the crossfire of the war. That was when her dad grabbed his best friend and booked it, and ran so far away they would never be found, and built themselves a world out here
She was broken from her thoughts by a chicken in her room. She didnt really think much of it till she realized there was a chicken in her room
  "What the fu-"
  "NO, GET BACK HERE"
Her dad ran full force into the room, bewilidered.
"THERE YOU ARE" He screamed, throwing himself at the chicken, who just dodgedhis attack.
She fell backwards out of the way, her blond hair blocking anything that happened, until she threw it back into place and saw her dad. On the floor. With a chicken trying to eat his hair.
She sat there and watched as her dad fought with the chicken over who owned his hair. Eventually he managed to get up and grab the chicken before it could try and flee again.
He looked at her, and she couldnt hold back her laughter anymore. His hair was an absoulte mess and he looked like he was in extreame disstress.
"What's so funny, what, do you wanna wrestle a fuckin chicken?" He said, shoving the chicken in her face, just causing it to go more crazy.
"NO NO NO, I will not be fighting any chicken, thank you, please put the weapon down." She said, swatting it away.
"Well maybe next time don't get a chicken in your room."
"Well maybe next time dont let a chicken loose from the pin with the front door open."
They both heard a muffled laugh come from the hallway, and saw Belle standing there. Her black hair in way better condition then either of theirs.
"Well, she is right Tommy." She remarked, trying to look innocent.
At that, Tommy stormed off mumbling profanities at the chicken, and went outside to put it back in its pin.
Belle walked in and went to the window ledge, after a couple of seconds, Chloe joined her.
"How are you this morning?"chloe said after watching her dad dump the chicken in the pin.
"Eh, im pretty good, espically after watching that. You?"
  "Im pretty okay."
Belle looked over at her, and saw her looking out into the forest.
"Your thinking about going out there again, arent you?"
  "I mean, maybe."
Belle looked at her, with a mix of emotion, mainly concern.
"Come on man, you know thay area is off limits. We cant go out there."
"I mean, why not? We've done it before, nothing bad ever happened, I dont understand the pararnioa around a wooded area!" Chloe said, defensively.
Belle looked out at the scenery. The trees going over the feilds, the lake about a half mile out, not a single other thing in sight. Ever.
"I mean, we always use to go out there at night" Chole began. "We would go out there with nothing but lanterns and we would run around, just not caring  about anything. We would play by the lake, we would talk about whatever came to mind, we would bring swords put there and practice on trees, we would do anything, and nothing would ever happen."
Belle sighed. She was right, but they stopped going years ago to keep both their dads sane. They were paranoid about manburg or "worse" finding them. Whatever worse meant.
"Hey, have you two seen Tommy?" A voice said from behind.
They both turned around to find Tubbo at the doorway, looking worried.
"He was suppose to come in after taking care of the chicken."
He walked up to the window, and they all three started started scanning the area, to find no Tommy, anywhere.
  "Where could he have g-"
He was cut off short by seeing Tommy run up the hill, clearly in panic.
Tubbo ran out to the hallway just to meet Tommy in the middle.
"Get the kids out if here. Now!" Tommy said, scrambling to his gear.
  "What, why, what goin-"
"I DONT HAVE TIME TO EXPLAIN, THEIR HERE TUBBO, GET THEM OUT, NOW!"
Tubbo instantly turned around and met the two girls in the hallway.
"Okay girls, with me, and hurry." He said, alreadly on his way to the back of the house
They followed as quickly as they could, extreamly concerned and confused. Tubbo, after a little seaching, found a loose floorboard and lifted it up, inside was a backpack.
"Okay, Chloe, take this, and grab your weapons on the way out the back, and run. Run far away from here."
"What, why, whats going on?!" Belle said, clearly about to break down.
"Look, keeping it short, manburg forces found this area. Just keep running North, and when we can, me and Tommy will find you, but for right now, we need to hold our ground, or risk everything in this house."
"Wait, why not just leave too?!" Chloe said, dumbfounded they even thought of staying.
"Because, there are things in this house we cant risk them getting, now leave please, before you cant!"
Chloe grabbed Belle by the arm and started walking the direction of the back door.
"WAIT!" Belle yelled, forcing chloe to let go.
Belle ran up to her dad, and hugged him, tears starting to stream.
"I love you dad." She said, grip tighting.
"I love you too, honey bee, now go, Ill be there soon."
She let go and ran back to chloe, and grabbed her sword and bow. Chloe took her axe and took for the back door with Belle.
"BE GOOD TO HER CHLOE" she heard Tubbo yell before the door fully shut.
They both took down the hill as fast they could. And ran for the forest. When they were finally there, they stopped for a second to take things in.
   First mistake made that night.
"WHO'S OVER THERE!" They heard a man say, right before turning and being met with a crossbow
Chloe grabbed Belle and took off in the opposite direction, not knowing if she was going the right way.
  "GET THEM!"
Chloe cursed under her breath and looked at Belle, who was now running right next to her. They both knew what to do. They were taught in this circumstance, move in a difficult way.
Bella all if a sudden split off, and Chloe, hoping they wernt near, grabbed on to a tree and climbed into the leaves.
Guess sneaking out did pay off in the end.
Only about two minute later, she saw people move underneath.
"Where did they go?" A woman said.
"Dont know, but they cant have gone far." A male voice spoke out.
Chloe stayed still, trying to not make them look up, because if she did, her khaki colored jeans and red jacket wouldnt blend in the best.
Chloe looked around and saw something else in the trees. After a few seconds, Belles face appeared through the leaves, making direct eye contact with her. They both did there best to communicate with their eyes, but it wasnt going to work wothout their hands being able to move.
"What do we do, sir?" The female said, speaking up.
"Split up, their teens, they cant do anything to us, so split up and find their hiding spot."
They heard movement happen below them, and after a while of not hearing them, they jumped down.
Chloe, pointed in a direction, next to asking if they should go that way with her face. Belle proceeded to do neck swipey thingy with her hand and pointed the other direction. Chloe nodded, not wanting to argue silently with her.
They both went in that direction, weapins in hand, waiting for something to happen. But nothing ever did. And they eventually put away the weapons and started talking
"Do you know where the fuck we're going?" Chloe asked, clearly done with all of this.
  "Nope, not a clue."
"Oh great, this is gonna go extreamly well."
They went on for hours. And hours. And hours. Till eventually they needed to stop. They came upon this rocky cliff and decided to sit there, and rest for a short while.
"I cant fucking beilive this, i thought we were safe from all of that shit." Chloe said, sitting down next to belle.
  "I really dont know why."
Belle sat there and thought, letting her mind wonder on what just happened and what could have possibly happened. Their parents could have fended them off, saved the day, and be on their way here right now. But, on the oppsite side, what if they lost. What if they were taken in. Or worse, what if they were de-
"What's that." Chloe said, breaking her thought trail.
Clhoe was pointing at the rock, and after an embarrsing amount of seconds, Belle found it. It was
  "A button."
Chloe got up at the mention of anything clickable, and walked towards it. Belle knew what was about to happen.
"Uh, maybe dont press the mys-"
  Too late.
All of a sudden, a part of the wall started opening and Belle got up in response. She turned to see a giant hole being made into a cavern. A lit cavern.
  "Holy shit." Chloe said, stunned.
"Sho- should we really go in there?" Belle said, clearly scared if whats inside.
"Oh come on, stop being a pussy. After all, our lives could be ruined, why not risk it"
Chloe took a soild pace towards the entrace, Belle scrambling to catch up, not wanting to be left behind. When they got inside, the doors shut alot faster then it could open. But before they could even blink, they heard a voice.
"Dad, is that you?"

I now present to you, my followers, the single worst article I have ever read.
TLDR: A supposed 'libertarian' is actually defending vaccine mandates.
This is actually so bad, I think its worth a full response:
If the vaccine causes no appreciable injury, can you still refuse to be injected, notwithstanding that you might be visiting significant risks on others?
For starters, thats a BIG 'if.' In fact, we know for a fact that there is a (yes very small, but not nonexistent) risk of serious harm from the vaccine in the short run, and we have no way of knowing if there will be harm 5 years from now.
But beyond that: The idea that not taking the COVID vaccine is 'visiting significant risks on others' is just...not true. Its pretty well accepted at this point that the vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of COVID, it just reduces your chance of having serious problems from it.
And that to me, is why vaccine mandates are dead on arrival. Even if we knew the vaccine was 100% safe(which is isnt), and guaranteed you wouldnt get sick from COVID(which it doesnt), it only protects you, meaning theres no 'externality' to not taking it.
Occasionally, however, advocates of limited government will condone directives to engage in benign activities (even when not cost-free) if failure to do so might cause injury to innocent bystanders. Safety requirements for nuclear power plants would be one example
This is actually a very high-level libertarian question that I dont think I should unpack here(maybe another post). But Its also not really relevant, since not taking a vaccine even if it did reduce the spread of COVID(which again it doesnt) isnt nearly as potentially harmful, nor as clearly intentional as, say building an unshielded nuclear reactor in the middle of a crowded city.
Punishing aggressive acts that have already caused damage is a routine government function. But it’s more complicated when government compels conduct that might minimize or alleviate future harm. That’s an area of the law — endangerment — where rights theory is difficult to apply. How much increased risk do I have to endure before your potentially malign failure to act can be redressed? When rights theory doesn’t provide adequate guidance, defenders of liberty often look to utilitarian, cost-benefit tradeoffs
I'm not sure I actually agree with this. But even if I did, it would have to be in the most cartoonishly extreme cases. Abandoning rights theory in favor of utilitarian cost-benefit analysis in anything less can lead to justifying all kinds of horrific shit. And applied too broadly can justify almost anything.
And, no I dont think refusing to take a vaccine(that doesnt even prevent the spread of COVID) comes anywhere near that level. To quote Jules from Pulp Fiction it ain't the same fuckin' ballpark, it ain't the same league, it ain't even the same fuckin' sport
vaccine mandates are nothing new. Wyoming, an indisputably conservative state, requires vaccines for 12 diseases if a child wants to attend either public or private school or a care facility, or participate in school-sanctioned activities.
A lot to unpack here:
First I'm against every single aspect of this, not just the vaccine mandates, but all the way down to the very existence of public schools. So this probably isnt the best example.
But even if you want to set that aside: Do you seriously not see a difference between a kid needing a vaccine to go to public school, and an adult needing one to go to the grocery store?
Also, I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that every single one of the diseases kids need to be vaccinated for are more dangerous to them than COVID-19.
Oh and obligatory mention that the COVID vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of the virus.
More vaccinations would have slowed transmission and thereby afforded fewer opportunities for the virus to mutate.
The vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of the virus. So this is just straight up bullshit.
And even if it were true: the delta variant originated in a country(India) that hadnt had access to vaccines due to fuckery by the US government and pharma companies. So maybe you should be going after them instead of people who are understandably skeptical of a new medical treatment that we cant know the long term effects of.
Significantly, based on data from 40 states, persons fully vaccinated accounted for as little as 0.2 to 6 percent of COVID deaths, and 0.1 to 5 percent of hospitalizations.
While this might be argument for getting vaccinated(assuming those numbers are accurate, which I kinda doubt), its not an argument for forcing the vaccine on people. Since the vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of COVID, you arent reducing the risk to anybody but yourself.
Third, can we be sure that a vaccine mandate will remedy the problem? Put differently, haven’t we seen numerous breakthrough cases in which vaccinated persons have nonetheless been infected? Yes, but the key reason breakthrough cases are a growing part of the total is that we’ve vaccinated a higher percentage of the population. Most important, as noted above, people who are fully vaccinated experience far fewer hospitalizations and deaths.
All of this is completely irrelevant since the vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of COVID
Yes I'm getting tired of repeating myself, but this point cannot be emphasized enough: If you're argument for vaccine mandates is that not getting vaccinated poses a threat to others, then the fact that the vaccine dosnt prevent the spread kills your argument before it even begins.
Perhaps we should just wear masks and maintain social distancing. But the consensus is that the vaccine would still be necessary, and far more effective.
Funny thing, the CDC is saying masks and social distancing are necessary even with the vaccine because(say it with me now) the vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of COVID.
Perhaps natural immunity from contracting the disease is stronger than vaccine-induced immunity. But most studies say otherwise.
I feel like I should point out here that I've seen a lot of arguments from people on both sides of this question. And I dont have enough knowldge of immunology to be able to judge which is the correct position.
Although it wouldnt really matter if the vaccine were more effective than natural immunity, since it doesnt prevent the spread of COVID.
Perhaps a vaccine mandate can be geographically or demographically constrained. That’s an obvious consideration, which suggests that local officials be given substantial discretion in establishing the scope of any mandate.
I suppose that would be better than a national mandate. But even that much would be unjustified since the vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of COVID.
Or perhaps vaccinations could remain optional, but with restricted access to selected activities by the unvaccinated. That notion — a vaccine “passport” — has the support of nearly 82 percent of Americans, according to a recent survey.
In other news: 82% of Americans are morons who dont realize the vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of COVID.
(okay but seriously, given that almost half of all Americans arent vaccinated, I have to question the methodology of this survey).
we are in the midst of a health emergency, which means that suitably modified, narrowly-tailored, time-limited rules may be justified.
This is a one-time thing because we are in the middle of an emergency is the justification for nearly every tyrannical act ever undertaken by governments. And to hear it coming from a supposed 'libertarian' is equal parts terrifying and nauseating.
Oh and the vaccine doesnt prevent the spread of COVID.

7:30 Backstories: Ryujin
Content warning: guns and bombs
Tumblr media
That Tuesday night when Seoul got attacked, Ryujin was at home in her bed, her girlfriend in her arms. Jisu has decided to spend the rest of the week at Ryujin’s, as Jisu lived in the heart of Seoul. For safety she headed to her girlfriend’s house, an hour outside of the city.
When the first bomb dropped it was heard distantly, but not felt. Ryujin felt Jisu’s body tense at the sound “what was that?” Not wanting to admit she knew what was to come, Ryujin responded “it was probably nothing baby, try to sleep.” Jisu asked “are you sure?” Ryu...I’m scared.”
Ryujin pulled the smaller girl closer into her arms, “we’ll be fine baby girl just try to sleep okay?” Jisu complied, nuzzling into Ryujin’s neck, her lips softly placing kisses on her lover’s skin.
That night Ryujin didn’t sleep. She continued to hear bombs dropping, the sound didn’t get louder with time, they stayed distant.
In the morning Ryujin noticed her younger sister Yuna had slept through the entire thing, not realizing their country was under attack. The news channels were all reporting that the city was attacked and enemy forces were trying to control the capital. Some people in the city had been captured and taken by the enemy as well. These people either forced to become enemy soldiers, held for ransom, or simply murdered.
Upon hearing this Ryujin’s parents decided the family needed to split up. Yuna, Jisu, and Ryujin’s mother moving further south, away from the city, was best. Whereas Ryujin would live with her dad in the mountains. Quickly the family packed bags, and loaded their vehicles to leave in the night.
“Ryujin-ah. We have to go, come on now.” Her father waved for her to say her goodbyes. Ryujin hugged her mom first, “bye eomma. I’ll see you soon ok? I love you.” Her mother held her eldest in her arms, for what they both didn’t know would be the last.
Yuna hugged her older sister “I’ll take care of Jisu for you ok? I know I’m the baby but I can do it. I’ll do the same for mom. Just look out for dad ok?” Ryujin nodded and pulled her into a bone crushing hug.
Jisu collapsed into her girlfriend’s arms, she sobbed heavily not wanting to say goodbye. Ryujin kissed her “It’s okay baby. No tears, you’ll see me again. I’ll see you soon, I promise I will find you.” Jisu chokes out “what if you don’t?” Brushing a piece of hair from her girlfriend’s face Ryujin said “I will. I promise, there’s nothing that will keep me from being with you again. I love you Jisu-ah.”
Ryujin left with her dad that night, they arrived in the mountains not too long after. From that day forward Ryujin’s father taught her how to survive alone. He also taught her to shoot guns. Day in and day out she worked on her aim until she never missed her target.
“Dad? Hello? Anyone home?” Ryujin woke up one morning around 5 AM. The birds outside were already singing, the sky was just starting to get light. She walked into the kitchen and saw a note on the stove:
My Ryujin,
Please take care of yourself. I want you to leave as soon as you read this. I left while you were asleep, do not look for me, I am long gone from you now. Go find Yuna and Jisu. Your mother and I are together, do not worry about us. You have what you need to survive like Ive taught you. Start to head South East, there you should find Yuna and Jisu. Please protect yourself, my eldest daughter, my pride and joy, I love you always.
-Dad
Ryujin did as she was told, throwing all her stuff into a bag and slinging it over her shoulder. She grabbed her and her father’s guns before leaving the house.
Ryujin wandered for weeks, she knew she had a destination, but she didn’t know how to get there. A few passerbyers helped her here and there, but she often didn’t ask for help out of fear they’d send her in the wrong direction.
She made it out of the mountains fairly quickly and to where she assumed was south east. Sometimes she stopped in towns, stealing from vacant houses and stores. Day and night she walked alone, dragging herself along, the only thing driving her was Yuna and Jisu.
Another night, another empty town she wandered through. Her body starting to give beneath her she decided it was time she stopped and went to sleep. Finding a house she kicked open the door and walked in, searching it high and low for people before settling in.
This home had clearly been abandoned for months, it reeked of dust and dry mold. The furniture definitely harboring dust mites and bed bugs. She choked on the smell every few minutes but she’d have to deal with it until she could get moving tomorrow.
Ryujin found an old wooden dresser, heavy enough to barricade the door from anyone coming in. She pulled the windows down and dragged the drapes over, making the room dark enough to see, but also dark enough to sleep. She found a spot in the corner of the main area of the house. The wall caved in just enough to cradle her body just the right way. She leaned back, resting her head on a balled up shirt she pulled from her bag. Making sure she was secure, she kept one gun strapped to her back, the other in her arms. She softly hummed to herself as she drifted off to sleep.
A loud pop followed by a mirror shattering in the home woke Ryujin up. The sky was still dark, but she was now very much awake. She dropped to the ground wondering where the bullets were coming from, there was nobody in town when she arrived.
She heard the shouts of three people, two girls and a boy. They were yelling to each other in a mix of English and Korean, one girl having a distinct Australian accent.
Ryujin crawled on the floor and peered out the window. She noticed the three people yelling were young, a girl with lavender hair hiding behind a tree. Unlike other people Ryujin’s seen, this girl didn’t look scared. The girl was tall, she had long, thin arms and legs.
The lavender haired girl sprinted across from one side of the street to another. Crawling up a tree as if she was a squirrel. Ryujin heard her shout “Can one of you two do something? They’re going to kill us!”
Usually Ryujin wasn’t one to help other people in these situations. However she realized that if they made it this far and they’re this young, and not dead, they’re worth sticking with. She saw the boy had muscle, one girl had throwing knives, and the other was quick on her feet. These were the people she wanted to be with.
Ryujin slipped onto the roof of the house, laying down and easily spotting the enemies of these young people. Propping herself up on one arm she found her first target. Closing one eye she focused before pulling the trigger, hitting the person square in the head, between their eyes. She did this until she hit all five of her targets.
The lavender haired girl slowly came out of the tree she hid in once she deemed it safe. The boy and other girl coming from behind bushes. The three looked around the empty street wondering who saved them. Ryujin stood up and slid down the roof, landing on her feet in front of the three.
Ryujin held her gun in her hands, it wasn’t loaded and the lock was on, but they didn’t need to know. “Put your hands up!” She told the three sternly.
Ryujin looked them all up and down, walking around them to see if they had anything they could immediately hurt her with. “Who are you all associated with?”
The boy spoke up “we arent with anyone. It’s just the three of us, we’re just trying to find our friends and families.” Ryujin stated firmly “I want in.”
The lavender haired girl responded “hell no. We don’t know you. You could work for someone we don’t want to be around.” Ryujin laughed and said “either I join you three or only one of us is walking away from this. And i’ll give you a hint, she doesn’t have purple hair.”
The third one looked at the purple haired girl and the boy, she immediately said “deal.”
Ryujin smiled and dropped her weapon and let it hang on her back.
“Alright, let’s go then.”

Overly elaborate observations, thoughts and theories based on rewatching the trailer (bunch or times)
I'm pretty sure that the person falling isnt polo. The person falling clearly has black/dark shirt/sweather/jacket, while polo has black and white shirt.(I know this isnt a new theory and plenty people think that but i had to mention this)
Tumblr media
(However, im not 100% convinced it's not him because the trailer still could use edited footage to throw us off)
So assuming that
People who it could be instead? For that i assume that the clothes they have their group shot are the same ones they have at the time of that party (when polo wears the black and white shirt). I base this belief on one shot of lu, flipping off someone in black and white shirt in the same dress she wears on the group shot.
Tumblr media
on the night of polo's death, they all wore these clothes
the shot of falling figure is an un-edited and final and actually represents whoever it was that fell
Based on this, possible candidates among the main cast are:
Tumblr media
+ possibly the new guy
However, in my own humble opinion, omar is the most probable one. Just based on head shape of the falling person, it seems like omar (but also the head shape sligtly reminds me of polo so this all just gets more confusing).
At first i also thought valerio, but even though he wears dark shirt, it's not long sleeved, like the falling figure has
Tumblr media
Why have i started about valerio? Because of this:
Tumblr media
So here is the thing - it doesnt have to be the same bottle. It could be some certain brand of bottles, possibly related to the business that valerio and rebe started running together (if what we see in the trailer is true). The trailer hints that their business thingy is just drugs, but who knows, it could be more. They are both from incredibly wealthy families and perhaps it could even be about them opening a club of some sorts? Such as one with green floor and wall lights? Such as one in both top pictures and also in these:
It could off course be two completely unrelated places or this one place could boot have anything to do with rebe and valerio, this is just a theory.
Anyway, bout the bottle. Lets take another look at polo's body and at 2 people who are recorded reacting to it (or trailer tries to have you think so)
Tumblr media
i started about the lights. If you take a look at most of precious pictures you can catch the same pattern i did. All the party pictures are lighted in both yellow and green, just like carla and guzman are in the last photo. They are both heavily lighted, with tons of people behind them. On the other hand, shot of polo's body is maily dark. So either it "fell" into some part of this room without the green floor lights (which is entirely possible and im personaly more inclined to the theory that those 3 shots are one scene) or it is not all the same scene.
Meanwhile, the 2nd bottle shot is very dark, with the whole room empty, other than whoever arrived on the scene. The whole area around polo's head is full of glass shards, which is the reason we all assume that he was killed in the fall, but what if he was not? What if those glass shards arent at all related to the fall and instead some from the broken bottle? Based on my stupidly overly complicated analysis of light, i think both those are possible.
That's all i have to say about this particular issue, sometimes i'm little to wild with ny guesses and chances are big that im wrong. Anyway, there are are more unrelated observations and theories:
Most of ander scenes in trailer include ander with hair, only one that could possibly be shaved ander (So from like 2nd half of the season?) Is this one:
Tumblr media
That i dont like at all because 1. Its from the party, based on ander's clothes and 2. There is a big huge possibility not even the actual scene since they both have different lighting (i swear im gonna shut up about it ok)
Omander breaks up. I have no evidence to support that but obviously writers like making ander suffer so im making a wild guess.
Tumblr media
Valerio is gonna end up (threesoming) with polo and cayetana because of something he does, that fucks thighs up between him and lu and possibly even with the rest of mains. It could be the business he does with rebe or it could be something else. It could be related to samu blowing up at who i assume is valerio and also to the hug between lu and nadia
Tumblr media
Anyway, here it is. IM pretty sure im wrong but this was fun!
If you have any theories of your own, let me know!

I had a crazy Xmen dream last night, and by that I mean it mostly started Quicksilver, so here we go:
The first real scene I can recall is Peter running for his life from some shadow government agency trying to locate and catch him in the middle of the night. This normally would be easy, however hes already been hit by some xgene neutralizer dart or something, and while hes still fast, hes leagues slower than what he normally is.
So a bunch of nondescript black vans and cars are crowding the street and blocking him in, guns drawn the moment they have him in sight. The first round of drug is wearing off, however a second dart hits him before he can speed off fully. He still manages to get out of the trapped corner he was in, but hes quickly losing ground.
Peter ends up on some campus scenery, starting to lag. There isn't any immediate signs of the black cars, but he knows they arent far behind. Before he can decide what to do, a college student grabs ahold of his arm and starts walking him toward a nearby building that has a large stone structure and steps. He's startled and nearly breaks away until the person tells him to lay low, that he shouldn't look conspicuous and the library will be a good cover.
When inside, he sees how big the place is. Tables and desks, rows of book shelves, computers - a well stocked and cared for college library, perfectly lit for the night owl students there. The mystery person, a young woman, reveals to be a mutant, tho there wasn't anything truly telling. Peter just knew. And when they get inside, he can tell there are a smattering of other mutants. They're just students, minding their own business, studying, glancing up at him and looking away. The woman beside him leads them further into the campus library.
Peter talks a mile a minute, asking questions and poking around. He deems it isn't a trap but then worries he'll lead the bad guys there. The woman, who I never got the name of lol, tells him that they all have seen him on the news, have talked amongst themselves about the Xmen and their efforts. She feels that helping him is the least she could do.
Which is ironic bc then theres commotion as the bad guys start swarming the place looking for him. Theres a lot of action that happens, a lot of violence as mutant and regular students help each other evade the indiscriminatory attacks from the militant men. Peter and the Mutant woman quickly try to cover for regular students caught in the cross fire. Peter, with some power left, is able to push people away from trajectories. The woman uses some sort of sonic attack on the men.
The first round of men are rounded up quickly, and before anything more can be set, the woman places her hands on the head of one of the men and a contained sonic scream knocks him out. She does the same for the others before there is noise of more men coming, and they're running away again.
She and Peter manage to escape through the basement and out a back door, clearly used by cleaning staff. Luckily, as they make it out a janitorial man loading recyclables into his van is there and helps sneak them out of the area.
Aaaand that's when I woke up. It was an exciting dream, and probably a sign that I should work on my xmen story again.

Werewolf idea? Chap 1
Shout-out to @kitkat-the-snacc for helping me out so much with this, they're amazing, so check them out!!
_______________
Of course it had to be the one thing he knew so little of how to control that malfunctions.
Edward Richtofen, alongside Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and 'Tank' Dempsey had all wound up in somewhere deep in a dark forest, cold and fogged over.
The men look around confused, but none moreso than Richtofen himself who had intended that they arrive elsewhere, nowhere near a forest of this kind. He turns to face the other men, perturbed and a bit nervous.
"Gentlemen! It seems as though we have been transported to an area in which I had not intended, and I am afraid I do not know why."
Nikolai snapped his attention to the German.
"What do you mean, "don't know why"? Is it not you who holds the knowledge of Universe in your Kronorium?" He asked angrily, "Can you not just open another portal?"
"Yeah," Dempsey agreed, "what's the hold up Doc'?"
Edward huffs, irritably. "It is much more complicated than just opening and closing a door. These portals are openings through time and space. Hardly something to fiddle with when it doesn't work properly."
Takeo stepped forward as he surveyed the wooded area. "I fear if we stay to argue here, the light will leave us for the darkness soon." He said, watching the sun lower all to quickly." We need to find shelter from the dangers of the Forest."
Nikolai nodded." Yes, I agree with Takeo. Let us discuss later your incompetence, Richtofen."
The Doctor narrowed his eyes, but did not retaliate. They walked for a time, and eventually found an empty cave.
"Convenient.." Dempsey grumbles, looking for any signs of a wild animal, and finding nothing relevant to their safety.
Edward knew he would only worsen his already dwindling impression on the others, and decided to find food for the others in the forest.
"Are you sure you will be alright on your own, Doctor?" Takeo asked him, taking note of the quicky darkening terrain.
"I assure you that I will be fine Takeo. I will return when I have found something."
Nikolai grunted. "Take your time."
Edward huffed, and made his way into the forest. He walked into the forest for what felt like hours, until he found a lone stag. It was larger than any he had ever seen, and completely oblivious to the rifle he held pointed at his heart. Richtofen fires, and kills it with his rifle, but as he walks back, dragging the large animal slowly, he hears a growl.
A deep, low, threatening sound that makes his hair stand on end, and his body shake to its core. A wolf, larger and more monstrous that he had ever seen, comes out of it's spot in the darkness, hungry for a meal. Richtofen, thinking quickly, tries to back away slowly, posing no challenge to the beast. However, this was no ordinary canine, and it's intentions we're not on eating the fallen fauna, but the scarred man faking confidence before him.
Before Richtofen could do anything to defend himself, the Monster took him to the ground, and bit viciously into his shoulder, its front fangs reaching down to puncture the barely healed wound under his ribs.
He tried to call out, but was muffled by the beastly paw pushing down on his face. He flailed his arm attempting to locate his blade, clawing at the opposing force on his face, finally grabbing it it and frantically slashing at the animals side making it cry out in pain, and flee. Richtofen took a moment to steady himself, groaning loudly as he sad up to bandage his newfound wounds. After a while he managed to stand, and grab hold of the fallen Stags antlers once more, and continued to follow the smoke showing over the trees.
_______
Takeo was the first to notice that Richtofen was very obviously injured, but his question on the matter was drowned out by the other two men's outbursts of astonishment over that large animal he had brought back.
"How did weak man like you manage to move such a large animal, Richtofen?" Nikolai jested,
"Yeah, didn't know you could see past that huge ego far enough to shoot anything smaller than a naval ship!"
Dempsey joked.
Richtofen didn't have the strength to respond. He simply dropped the the deer's head to the ground, tossed his knife to the ground near Nikolai, and stumbled into the shelter, grimmacing
He sat for a while, trying to steady his breathing. His wound hurt incredibly so, he was exhausted, but he promised to be lookout. He was so focused on breathing, on ignoring the pain and staying awake, tht he didn't notice the others calling for him as he faced the wall of the cave.
Takeo decided to confront him directly, rather than have Richtofen just push off the issue like he very often did.
He approached the Doctor, setting a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"Richtofen?" He called, quietly. "Are you alright, Doctor?"
The German slowly came to, realizing that is the man had asked him something.
He blinked, taking a slow, shaky breath.
" I am sorry, Takeo. I am afraid I didn't hear you."
The warrior looked worried, but repeated himself nonetheless.
"I asked if you were alright, Doctor. You are injured, and look unwell. Are you sure you don't with to rest tonight instead of taking watch?"
The German winced, finally processing the weight on his injured shoulder. He gently removed the other man's hand and put up a false show of wellness.
"Surely you've been worse for wear? I was just hit by the Stäg before I managed to kill it, nothing the Doctor cannot handle!" He stood, stretching, but instantly regretting it. " I appreciate your concern Takeo, but I assure you, I am perfectly fine." His speech was strained, and he was obviously in pain, but he knew he wouldn't be able to make the doctor change his mind without force, so he let him be.
Takeo returned to the others, who had cut up the stag and were now cooking sizeable chunks of it. The skin was hung on a nearby tree, and the antlers were severed and set by the mouth of the cave.
Dempsey had hung strips of the animal over the billowing fire with a rather impressive contraption made of sturdy thin logs.
"So, the fuck is wrong with him?" Dempsey grunted,
He had been peeved that the German had fucked up whatever their mission was supposed to be, but he had calmed down when he realized that there weren't any maggot bags to be seen. Yet.
He had been worried, however, when said German came back looking worse than he'd ever seen him. He looked ready to collapse at the sound of the bell.
"He is badly injured, but he insists he is fine." Takeo replied, looking worried himself. "He is still determined to take watch tonight, though I suspect he won't be able to stay alert enough to preform the task successfully. One of us should stay out with him."
Nikolai huffed. "Let him sit out alone, why should we Care tht he doesn't want to care for himself? He certainly hasn't shown his care for us. And he obviously doesn't know what he's doing, leading us to a place mistakingly, and not telling us of his supposed "plan?"" The Russian vented.
He continued on, clearly unforgiving to their German associate.
The other men looked at him, then to each other. Nikolai would obviously not be staying out with Richtofen tonight.
"I can stay with him, Tak'. You and Nik' just rest for tonight, ok?" Dempsey offered, quietly as not to let their Russian comrade hear.
"If you are sure, Dempsey. Thank you, my Friend." Takeo accepted, greatful for the chance to rest and think over what had been happening for the past few months.
Soon enough, two men went into the shelter to rest while Richtofen exited, avoiding the Russian man's gaze. He knew that he had only worsened his relationship with the larger man, and didn't wish to start an argument over the residing issue. He didn't have the strength.
Dempsey left to stay with the German after a bit, seeing him sitting on a log near the pit they had dug, holding the antlers if the Stag he killed.
"Is that what got you hurt?" The Marine questioned the Doctor, dropping onto the adjacent log.
"What?"
"The antler's, from the deer." He repeated,"Did it hit you? I'd that why you look like you were just run over by a trash compactor?"
The doctor looked back at the antlers. "Ah." He said, sounding distracted. "yes, I'm afraid I became... Distracted."
The Marine laughed. "Must have been something out of a nightmare to have distracted you from I giant deer charging at you, HaHa!"
The German chuckled, a dry and humorless sound.
"How right you are, Dempsey.." He said under his breath.
Tank had failed to hear what his teammate had said, but his did notice the lack of resort from the usually quick-to-resort German.
"You sure you don't need to lay down, Doc? God knows you could use some beauty sleep." Demsey said to him, worry evident in his voice.
The Doctor looked to him, a small smile playing on his tired face.
"Ha-Ha Dempsey, very funny."
The German laughed quietly.
"I fear sleeping anywhere near Nikolai may end in my throat being slit. I wish I could explain to you what I must put you all through this, but I cannot." He said, voice heavy with exhaust.
"Well what's stopping you?" The Marine prodded, hopping to gain a bit .ore information, but also wanting to learn more about the other man.
Richtofen faltered, and slowly rocked in his place, trying to find an explanation.
"I cannot.. explain it.. there are things you would misunderstand, and some you wouldn't understand at all. This is not me saying you arent intelligent, just uninformed."
The American took a second to think about what the Doctor told him, and decided to not press any further.
"Are you alright? You're breathing a little hard there." He tried, seeing as the other's rocking hadn't ceased.
"I am fine." The doctor said, shaky and quiet. He nearly jumped out of his skin when a large, comforting and warm had gripped gently on his upper arm.
"You're hiding something Doc, you aren't alright. What really happened when you went out earlier?"
Richtofen looked at the other, desperate for comfort, wanting to break and tell the other everything, what had happened, the strange twist in his gut when he looked at the moon.
But he resisted, shutting his eyes tight and taking a deep breath, calming himself. "I am sorry, Dempsey, but I will not push my own issues upon you when. You have your own to deal with. Thank you, for talking with me, but u think I'd like to rest now."
The Devil dog seemed disappointed in his response, but said nothing in protest.
"Why don't you sleep here? You said you don't feel safe with Nik', and I'll be finishing watch tonight, so I can make sure you're safe."
The German deemed flattered. "You wouldn't mind too terribly, would you?"
Dempsey grunted, "I'm the one offering, Doc."
Edward chuckled, and nodded. He layed down before the log, far enough from the now dying fire to be comfortable, and tried his best to ignore his worry over the shifting of muscle around his newest injury, and sleep.
