What type of caffeine the avengers from earths mightiest heroes the animated series would drink according to me and my sister:
Hawkeye: he does red bull cuz he has bad taste
Captain America: pretty much just black coffee (MCU Steve would drink illegal out of country energy drinks tho)
Black Panther: highly illegal energy drinks but he's not an American so it's fine
Iron Man: he will drink anything, whatever is there. The man drinks an energy drink that's been on his desk for days and is growing mold
Wasp: exclusively bang energy for the delicious flavors
Thor: he loves frappuccinos, he loves them so much
Hulk: he steals t'challas energy drinks
Bruce: tea on a normal day, straight expresso if he's been in the lab long enough
Widow: 5 hour energy, she has at least 2 on hand at all times
Ms Marvel: she's also a coffee drinker

Anyone else ship hulk and Hawkeye, specifically the versions of them from EMH and Avengers Assemble? They had some moments that are really underrated
The rarest of rare pairs 😭

I'm re-watching "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes", I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Clint Barton. Now I remember why he was my favorite character and the reason why I always liked archers. I love how he relates to the other characters. Specifically T'Challa, Hulk and Banner. Hulk and Banner have this air of being fed up with Barton's nonsense but still considering him a friend. I love how T'Challa can keep up with his nonsense. I adore them. (I'm also going to point out that the three of them are also characters that I love and my 9 year old self loved with all her heart.)
The others are great too. It makes me want to hug Hank and take him to therapy. He is so good and I liked his pacifist stance.
I found Tony more likable here than in the MCU for some reason.
Ooooh and Carol!!! She is great and I love her powers.

Anyone remember this scene from The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes? (Sorry, it was broken into two pieces.)
Even after all these years, it still sticks out to me.

And while Clint hadn't been a particular favorite of mine, just seeing Ross torture him like that, all while Bruce was stuck watching helplessly, made such an impression on me. I mean, I already knew he was trouble, but this moment - even before I was an experienced Marvel fan - made it clear to me that he was a cruel monster.
I never hated Hulk, but boy did I despise Ross after this sequence.

Trick or treat!
happy halloween!!! :DDD
i didn't have anything prewritten for emh so i quickly typed this out, so sorry if this isn't the best!!!!
It was a slow day at the Mansion, slow week actually. Janet was bored. Hank was stuck in his lab doing who knows what, Tony was off on some business trip, and the rest of the Avengers were all scattered in their own rooms doing nothing. And crime, god bless America, crime had seemingly been paused. Not a single super villain alert. None!! Even Jane was busy, a last minute emergency making her leave girls night early. So here Janet was, alone and completely, utterly bored. A loud slam coming from the kitchen had her rushing to it, desperate for any human contact. To her surprise it was Hulk. In hindsight that shouldn't really have surprised her, there wasn't anyone else who logically would be in the kitchen, but it still was a shock to walk into the kitchen and see someone take up 3/4 of the space. "Hey Hulk!" She said, voice chipper. He grunted, side-eyeing her. "Hello." "Whatcha making?" "Sandwich." "What kind?" "Salami." "Oooh," she walks over to him excitedly. "I love salami." He grunts again, but continues to make his sandwich undeterred. After another moment of silence, she speaks again. "What's your favourite movie?" He takes a bite out of his sandwich. "Bruce likes Interstellar." Janet frowns. "What's yours?" "Don't have one." "What-?! How can you not--" She cuts herself off when he gives her a deadpan look. Right. "Well, we're going to have to remedy that."
i didn't write it BUTT right after this janet makes them have a movie marathon and they learn that hulk's favourite genre is the CHEESIEST movies ever. Like Hallmark style movies. Though he likes romcom's too

I started watching Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes a few days ago. I am finished with episode 13 "Gamma World: Part 2"
I love the way Clint interacts with Bruce and Hulk. He respects them both. He doesn't try to erase one of them. He knows both are needed at different times.
Like "You can beat up the guys who are responsible for this, Hulk, but right now we need Banner to find out what's going on and find a solution"
He didn't attack Hulk like in Episode 5, instead he "threatened" him in such a way it made Hulk laugh so much he transformed back.
That's why am a bit surprised that in the most EMH fics I read, Clint doesn't like Bruce

I just finished EMH and it's now one of my favourite cartoons, especially superhero ones. I'm so sad it got cancelled cause you know that they had big plans for future seasons and they would've been so awesome.
I definitely recommend it if you enjoy plot points set up far in advance, character driven stories and superheroes kicking ass. My favourite iterations of certain characters like The Hulk and Hawkeye are in this show.
Idk if the fandom for EMH is still alive but I'm joining it anyway. It's so good everyone.

I was diagnosed with DID a couple of years ago and Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Hulk reminds me of Adventure Time’s Ice King and in the best possible way.
Both the Hulk and the Ice King are seen as the respective “darker halves” to their “true selves” Bruce Banner and Simon Petrikov. The way the rest of their world starts out seeing them and their behaviour is as harmful presences, something that must be stopped and contained, and nothing more than an unfortunate byproduct to their more socially acceptable, conventional “real selves”.
That’s how their worlds see them…but it’s not how they’re written. Both manage to be inseparably linked to their original selves, while still being their own fully fleshed out people…and the narrative shows those people are just as deserving of respect, understanding and companionship.
Both Hulk and Ice King work to better themselves as others show kindness to them and begin to treat them like actual people and not just something that needs to be gotten rid of. They respond positively to finally be treated with respect and are able to maintain their new relationships of their own volition.
It’s a really beautiful thing to see and sends a cathartic message of understanding, support and care to people not only with DID, but I’d say to anyone with mental illness. It’s definitely on my go-to list of recommendations.
While the finale to Adventure Time was beautiful, some part of me wishes Simon had stayed as the Ice King. Similar to why people are bothered by the MCU’s treatment of Bruce and Hulk, people with mental illness don’t just get an off-switch or magic instant cure and I feel to an extent it would have been a more powerful message for Betty to finally accept and embrace Simon as Ice King before choosing to save him anyway.
As Ice King himself said in Elementals when Betty was attempting to cure him, “I guess I’m a special person. And I am worthy of respect.”
No one wants or chooses to have mental illness and no one can expect people to just accept it instantly. There are always going to be people who, sometimes motivated out of sheer love and the best of intentions, want to change you back into who you were, even though it’s not possible. There will always be work for you to do try and improve yourself, to make your own life better, to maintain connections to the people you care about.
But you are still worthy of respect. And I think Ice King and EMH Hulk are powerful examples of that.
