Max doesn’t really interact with Richard in Beneath the Woods, so here’s a silly little comic!

Max is a big Kingdom Hearts fan (or the BtW equivalent of it lol), but his only knowledge of fighting comes from that series, so he's like "this guy is just like Ansem and I've fought the final boss like 20 bazillion times, so I can definitely defeat this dumb bad guy!" Richard doesn't shoot down his ideas, but he wants to figure out how this knowledge and skillset would help him in an actual fight lol

ITS TIME. this is my essay on why the chasity family are cannibals

okay so obviously this started with that one line from hatchet town “careful or your kids might end up on karens plate! she just ate!” but i like to imagine the “chasitys are cannibals” is just a running joke in hatchetfield, or maybe a rumor. most people don’t actually think they’re cannibals but it’s just something people say to get under karen’s skin because that’s fun.

but i like to imagine this rumor started with actual evidence of something. it’s not just like one day someone said “it would be funny to say this about karen lmao” it’s more like “possibly human remains were found in the chasity’s freezer but this is kind of a normal occurrence in hatchetfield so we’re just going to turn it into a joke”

ALSO. that one scene in npmd right before dirty girl and basically just every scene where the chasitys interact feels kind of off. its definitely giving the trope of “this a perfect utopia oh wait it’s actually really fucked up and dark when you think about it for a minute” like imagine in the dinner scene the “mouthful of mothers meatloaf” is fully some guys liver. and then karen chasity is like “oh i couldn’t have done it without you mark, you work so hard dragging all of these corpses into our basement!”

this also works with the “this is hatchetfield, people go missing every day” line because the chasitys are killing all of them and fucking eating them!! this can also account for why grace was so confident she’d get away with max’s murder because she’s so used to living in a cannibalistic murder family that it doesn’t cross her mind to worry. she just didn’t account for the fact that this specific murder would be more trackable because she didn’t yknow. eat maxs corpse so it was still there for the cops to find

grace’s entire personality in general is also really concerning! like, she’s fucking insane obviously! but why? she probably didn’t just pop out of the womb like that right? well, maybe it’s because she has been RAISED by crazy people. obviously her parents are very intensely christian but even the most devoted of christians don’t usually summon five eldritch demons to do their bidding. like! that is most definitely not normal! so it makes complete sense that grace’s insanity runs in the family they are cannibals they eat people

i promise i’m almost done but i would LOVE a nightmare time episode about the chasitys being cannibals i feel like that has so much crazy potential especially considering their personalities i just love the idea of a typical american christian family sitting down together for dinner and saying grace with someone’s fucking BRAIN on the plate in front of them. like that’s fucking insane.

could you IMAGINE a nmt episode of karen chasity seducing Ted and luring him into her home only for mark and grace to come bursting out of the closet wielding kitchen knives? i would kill to see that.

I think Tumblr needs to know about my dumbass Poppy Playtime AU I literally JUST made today so uhm... Here's the AU I've been hyperfixating on-

More information under the cut!

This is the first half of the Smiling Critters references (I loved making their designs omg)

Basically to summarize why they are a significant part in this AU:

This is an AU where the Smiling Critters survive, using anything and everything they can to continue to do so. It's a small resistance group (hence the AU name, "RESISTANCE") trying to fight against The Prototype! They still have their dynamics and everything else but they have more freedom to express themselves (hence, the clothes and accessories. And how Kickin' Chicken is wearing two bandana's because yes, he is extra.) AFTER the events of The Hour of Joy. By that time they were like what? 1st-2nd graders considering the experiments that were done? Now they are more like teenagers in this AU since I still follow the plot-line of the actual Poppy Playtime story taking place 10 years later-.

As for how the group works, everybody has their own little role and is in charge of something, they aren't made useless as it is a group based off of teamwork and friendship (despite the casualties.) Here's some of the roles they fall into:

(IF I SEE ANYBODY SEXUALIZE THESE CHARACTERS ISTG. THATS ICKY AND GROSS and I will make sure you get smited by lightning, because even if these guys are aged up THEY ARE STILL MINORS!!!)

Kickin Chicken: The vice president if you will, the leaders right hand man. (Because Dogday is the leader.) He's kind of full of himself but the confidence and pep talks help the team keep motivated, even if he is a bit self-centered

Bobby Bearhug: Assistant to Kickin Chicken (although they have a rivalry.) and also the medic. Is also the one who helps Dogday with anything considering in this AU he still has half of him torn off. (More on Dogday in his own section sometime later)

Hoppy Hopscotch: Basically explores the facility in any area at any time to gather new information on ways to try and get out (all of them are actively looking to escape btw!)

Craftycorn: Maps out stuff (maps, plans, other things) using her drawing abilities, although she also acts as the therapist friend because her art is soothing to others.

Bubba Bubbaphant: THE LITERAL. EMBODIMENT. OF. THE NERD EMOJI. He is a actual know-it-all which can come in handy but that makes him seem like a dick sometimes because of his knowledge.

Picky Piggy: I don't really have anything important to add to her, since I want to keep some of her lore a secret [might be revealed through the ask page I just set up for the AU on my page] HOWEVER she is the chef of the group and is literally the only one that can cook, if anybody else tried they'd all get food poisoning LMAO.

Here's some extra things in this AU that won't go in my other posts about this AU (maybe):

- Catnap is redeemed, but it takes a VERY long time for him to get out of "old habits" as I'm going to word it. (Without spoiling too much of what I have planned.)

- I don't know what to plan for The Prototype yet but I'm talking with a couple of my mutuals on discord so maybe I'll figure it out eventually

- Dogday can normally stand and do other things because of the belts he has, however he can't put them on for too long (for like at max, more than 4 hours a day.) because they will wear into the plush, and he needs to put the belts on tight or they will come loose. He only uses such method when the group goes to hunt for food or similar activities, otherwise, he just uses a wheelchair when in the groups safe environment (the Playhouse!)

- This is going to be a shock to some people, but there is NO player character in this AU, not only is this a what if the Smiling Critters survived, but it's also a what if the player character never returned to Playtime Co.! This does come with some issues, like on how the asks are going to work, but trust me, I got everything taken care of when it comes to that!

- There also isn't really any shipping in this AU at all, I'm focusing on the story/friendship dynamics more than that, so if somehow you were looking for Dogday X Catnap this is, unfortunately not the place for that.

- This AU also has the personal interpretation of Dogday being part of the experiments some of the orphanage kids faced, as I don't really vibe with the idea that Dogday might be a Playtime Co. worker??? I don't know, I'm sticking with my idea for now but I will be keeping a close eye on canon if anything confirms or denies it, and I may adjust the AU accordingly if that's the case.

- Future posts may or may not contain other Poppy Playtime characters but the main focus is the Smiling Critters and The Prototype.

It makes me almost laugh how, even after P5R, some genuinely believe Akiren and Akechi hate each other. It’s just so baffling to me when (and this isn’t even everything):

1) The whole beginning of their confidant (and Akiren still going out with Akechi for eight whole ranks) implies in a not-even-subtle way that Akiren knew. He knew from the very start that Akechi was someone at the very least dangerous due to his detective work, and even more so with the full-on certainty (basically) that Akechi had already been into the metaverse. Yet the full true ending requires that the whole confidant has been completed and truly, besides an initial attempt to understand the danger the PTs were getting into with Akechi, Akiren/Akechi’s whole outings were... dates. The most normal of dates, aside from Rank 7 (which is where, again, not even so subtly, Goro “mentions” the whole assassination ordeal and an aborted-from-the-start possible accomplice route) and ofc Rank 8. Akiren didn’t have much to gain from them, besides possibly understanding... well, Akechi as a person. And also, Akiren is kind of an appreciator of the fine art of danger, he likes the thrill of it. He loves the rivalry they have.

2) I adore how dudebros many use the whole “I hate you” bit of Rank 8 as proof of Akechi’s hatred towards Akiren and... it is kinda funny. Because, yes, the sentiment is there, and Akechi isn’t utterly lying, but it requires a reading between the lines operation. Both Morgana and Maruki literally state, respectively that “Goro likes Joker” (OG Japanese Engine Room, translated in English as “You don’t hate Joker”, which still conveys the same meaning, albeit less strongly/forwardly) and that their relationship “ISN’T based on hatred, nor ill will”.

What Goro defines as spite for Akiren as a person is mostly spite because of his envy. Envy because Joker is everything Goro could have been had he had a chance. Envy because Joker was luckier. Envy because Joker got what Akechi had been craving for the most: being loved by people around him for who he is. These same people are also ones that state how basically everything from Akechi’s mouth is a full on lie besides this one and only one, but I digress. A more normal line of thoughts linked to this is, well, Akechi’s whole assassination attempt as proof of his hatred again, which well, the assassination attempt is yikes on a healthy relationship perspective, but since I am not debating on whether their relationship is healthy or not as if enemies to lovers where the lovers attempt to kill each other isn’t a basis for many heterosexual classical literature romances as well, isn’t it pretty funny that Goro challenges Akiren to a duel just before that fateful day of November. And isn’t it even funnier how he wasn’t that surprised by Akiren surviving and even states,at max rank, how Akiren too isn’t satisfied with how they left it either. I wonder.

3) P5R whole, well, Royal part is literally Maruki creating a false reality for all the PTs and somehow people still believe Akiren hates Goro with the full-on knowledge that Akiren’s whole ideal (again ideal, wished for) reality is Goro living and working with the PTs. It’s Goro having a second chance. It’s Goro specifically being with him, playing Chess with him in the reserved space of Akiren’s attic (the window behind them is the same as Akiren’s attic), their card is the only one, besides Simping Morgana - where Ann isn’t even looking at him btw) - where two PTs are together).

I have seen someone in a comment mention how this is proof Akiren wanted Akechi to pay for his crimes and being alive was so Goro could be sent to jail when? Literally Akechi isn’t allowed to go to jail in Maruki’s reality LMAO. Akiren could have asked for everything. Money, fame... yes, but we can state these aren’t truly Akiren-like wishes, right? So, not that. But how about... having a loving family that actually cares? Because no, I can’t believe parents who leave their child to a friend’s acquaintance are supposed to be good parents. But this is an HC, so let’s scrap that. Then there is it: clearing up his name. Making it so that all of his crimes would vanish completely, especially in a country like Japan where having a dirty record is utterly terrible. He would get rid of the side-looks, the prejudices, the suspicions possibly brewing in his home town about him being the worst of criminals at age 17/18. And yet. No. For sure we can say the PTs being all together is also accounted for in Akiren’s wish, possibly, but the thing is, Maruki doesn’t use that as a last resource. His ace in his sleeve was Akechi. Had always been.

4) Every single third awakening in the game is in each PT’s room. It’s somewhere private, somewhere which is only theirs, somewhere they can call home. Akechi’s initially, in early development as uncovered by Faz, was in Jazz Jin which, he himself admits, is kinda his place, a place where he unwinds and relaxes. Akin to, well, a bedroom. Yet, it was significantly changed. Changed to freaking Leblanc. And no, I don’t think it’s because of the coffee.

5) You know the song No More What Ifs? The one which at first was in Proof Of Justice (which, by the way, either inspired the contents of the game or the Anime and P5R directors are besties, since what’s in there is basically Akechi’s P5R confidant condensed in 20 minutes of angsty gay longing footage) and then got put, as many other Proof of Justice related matters - as stated above -, in the game? It’s literally Akechi’s theme song. And it talks about him in every way (I can only be me... if you haven’t read Mementos Mission GO READ IT) and about someone else who brings joy to life (I wonder who that is)? Yes, well, the instrumental of it is the default song in the Thieves Den. Which. It’s defined as Akiren’s palace. 2+2=4 and in here Suspicious coincidences add up to just equal either fruity (for real) or still the undeniable fact that what these two share is a sentiment far, far from hatred.

According to a study 1/4 people are gay, meaning there are 5 gay people on the f1 grid. This is just me taking the piss, it is not serious, I am not speculating, it is fiction! So don’t come at me bros! It’s supposed to be funny!

Charles Leclerc, has know he’s gay since forever, don’t make a big deal out of it, but scared it’ll get out (like new, dumb FIA rules and all) hence the thick beards, in love with one Max Emilian Verstappen

To preface I’m not saying people prefer spawnAstarion because of the dependency but I do wish people didn’t hate AA because he’s “too arrogant”. Why do -some of them- relish the idea that this poor dude has to depend on them? Is it a symptom the “I can fix him” disease like.,,,? AA is basically coked out on power after being helpless for centuries, ofc he’s not gonna have the same level of confidence as the Astarion that slept with you for his survival.

I will preface this response by saying while I heavily prefer the AA ending, I have zero issue with the Spawn ending. I support both. They're both very well written and very plausible directions for a character like Astarion.

I don't think people who prefer the Spawn ending do so because of "dependency" so much as it's because Spawn A seems more... human? In a way? He gains a sort of boyish optimism that he didn't have before, and it's very much the whole "healing through the power of love," trope. Which does happen irl! I can personally attest to that.

But imo the Spawn ending is very remnant of if the world was a perfect place. Everyone would heal and be better once they find love and value in themselves and in others, but the reality is usually very far from that. AA is a bit more practical, in that regard. And when it comes to fantasy, people usually go for the outcomes that are unlikely or challenge reality. Because, again, it's fantasy. It's fun to pretend. The reality though is it usually takes YEARS to dig through all your demons and sort them out. It's not gonna be done in a 3-4 month period (9-10 if you include the epilogue), which I believe is the max amount of time the game spans.

Also as an offhand, you saying AA being coked out on power gave me an image of AA sitting behind a desk like Tony Montana just huffing pow(d)er and lord have mercy I wish I could fucking draw that lmao

keisuke loves summer nights (same) he loves the adrenaline rush he gets during that time doesnt matter if hes with his friends or alone hes always out and up to some shit

he is dyslexic ( he still denies he is ) & got diagnosed late

he was one of those troublesome children but it was usually because of defending someone who got bullied & the teachers eventually started to develop a soft spot for him because of his honesty

actually good at mathematics but gets bored too easily

his mother made him take piano classes when he was little, he can still play a few pieces

he loves aquariums, to be honest he always wanted to go to an aquarium date with someone who enjoys it as much as him

very street smart and well known in tokyo

so we know he canonically takes are of stray cats right? well i think he also has a 'monthly shower day' for them where he picks up all of the baby stray cats at midnight and puts them all in his bathtub and just washes them - can you imagine how weird it would look if you walked in on him casually washing 20 kittens in a bathtub at 2am

he gets annoyed by nahoya a lot but they are really good friends and spend a lot of time together, for example if no one is willing to go out at 3 fucking am he knows nahoya is always down

he sleeps for max 3-4 hours i dont know how he does that but that fucker is a night and morning person at the same time

doesn't really listen to a lot of music

he really loves tokyo, he believes its impossible for him to live anywhere other than the city he grew up in

this motherfucker has too much confidence sometimes which can make him seem a lot more intimidating than he actually is

for some odd reason keisuke has a soft spot for draken, he avoids getting into fights with him

again i think people actually like him a lot despite his wild nature, the old ladies from his neighbourhood who he helps with the groceries, the little kids who play soccer in the streets and look up to be like him (which actually bothers him a lot lmao) even some of the police men like him although he causes a lot of trouble in conclusion he's a man of the people

kei is best friends with emma since their childhood and emma loves spending time with him. they often go to the mall together and he helps emma to pick good outfits

emma tells him all the gossip and he is very invested in it

i think his love language would be acts of service and quality time, he helps his mom with the household chores very often

firm believer in kissing the homies goodnight.

Guydelot is nothing if not DRAMATIC

Hubby was talking to me when I was in battle so I forgot to take screenshots oops. Guydelot as always is a charmer of course, "Your song is bad and you should feel bad!" is a classic.

And yes Guydelot, tell us where you hid your gangly max-height Elezen limbs. Sanson here is also confessing that he was worried that Guydelot just up and left.

Guydelot also confesses that he knows Sanson was worried. Probably from the journal, but he has been following Sanson from the shadows since Tailfeather so he probably realises it just by reading Sanson's body language.

Maybe you should be more worried about those lovesick notes you left all over the margin, Sanson...

And just like that Guydelot shows his true colour once again. He's a man of action, not words (song lyrics not included) and the fact that they bested the Siren with the power of their own song was enough. Who cares about all of these documentation and whatnot.

I find it funny here that because this story still does involve the WoL, they just had to include this bit. But it would make more sense to have Guydelot perform his feat in battle and observe him there than rely on the WoL to do it. In fact, why not both?

In fact Guydelot reacts to this lol. He's like 'we wrote our own Ballad and you want to note her abilities instead???'

Mogta's got the right idea though!

Ben 10 Aliens As Their Own Characters (Original Series)

This has been on my mind for a looooong, long time and I finally decided to share this here.

I’ve seen some cool concepts for the “Ben’s Omnitrix glitched out and caused the aliens to have their own sentience” AU (like @thisunknowngenius’ take on the AU for example, as well as @justmenoworries‘ glorious @omniglitch-au) and I thought of sharing my own take for this.

Gonna call this AU of mine Ben 10 Alienated.

Let’s start with the Original 10 here because I have no idea where to start with the others lmao.

Wildmutt - Considered as the family pet, he’s just like any other normal man’s best friend. He always strive to be close with his family (especially Ben) to show how much he loves them.

Four Arms - an extremely violent, short-tempered, and very brash berserk who tends to be quite unkind to others around him, especially towards the people who dare hurt his loved ones. He seems to think that punching things, including people, is the best way to solve problems and his hot head can sometimes get him into trouble.

Grey Matter - tends to be boorish, and sarcastic with a dry sense of humor. He usually has a stoic frown, though he does smile from time to time. Grey Matter is very honest and blunt about what is on his mind. His brutal honesty isn't so much out of a sense of morality, but because he doesn't want to waste brain space by making up a lie. Regardless, he’s willing to help his family with any problem that only relates to knowledge and tutoring.

XLR8 - an energetic and upbeat Kineceleran who loves to do all sorts of bizarre things and dislikes "dull" things, like reading and studying. He’s a menace in the pranking field, but thankfully, his pranks are all relatively harmless. XLR8′s also a good sport and loves doing some competitions with his siblings. Well, unless you’re cheating then you’re really asking for a pie in the face.

Upgrade - literally the nicest alien you’ll ever meet. Upgrade possesses emotions and acts more like a human than a normal Mechamorph. He’s a bit shy but is generally a very kind-hearted individual who speaks in a polite manner and is sensitive to others' feelings. He’s pretty much seen with Grey Matter in most cases as he is more like an assistant of his.

Diamondhead - If someone were to look up “father figure”, then Diamondhead is sure to appear in those results. He is very responsible and talks formal. He rarely loses his nerve and can maintain clarity in any situation. He’s like the loving father figure of Ben, Gwen and the aliens and has a closer relationship towards Max due to sharing the responsibilities of being the parent figure of the fam.

Ripjaws - Not exactly the most intellectual member of the aliens, as Ripjaws is clueless, easily confused by complex words and misinterprets insults and figures of speech. He is also very gullible, often easily believing things people say and is surprised when others tell him that they're lying. In general, his mood can shift very quickly. He can bounce between bored, to happy, to angry, and to happy again. Despite his easygoing and aloof personality, Ripjaws is a good-natured and well-meaning alien.

Stinkfly - the very definition of “lazy” and a good-for-nothing couch potato of the family. He may be laid-back, but he’ll do anything to help the world in need and protect his family. Despite this, there’ll be times that he can be cynical towards others, even to the aliens and Tennysons.

Ghostfreak - he’s quite hard to approach given his quiet, deadpan and distant demeanor. But that’s because Ghostfreak is simply not good at expressing his emotions and would rather do so through his poems. It does help with giving him ideas on how to express his emotions more. Regardless, he has a heart of gold to the people he truly trusts; his one big family.

Heatblast - he’s a sporty athlete with a fiery personality and is always eager to challenge someone when he’s being challenged. Heatblast is one of the more mature aliens unless he ends up getting himself caught into the childish antics of his siblings (mainly XLR8).

Sneak peak into her end look when I kick my ass into finishing the story, because she accepts the corruption willingly she fucking glows for it literally normally she's dull grey dull freckles dull tail but this willing corrupt state causes her to burn so bright tummy and freckles aglow with sparkles of synergy under her skin

Perfect Shadow, what happens when you take a traumatised xl May and slam her up into a cave ceiling and she gets synergy lodged in her lower back/beginning of tail? This. This happens. Cruel and self serving, her trauma has become somewhat twisted she still wants to be around other twos to have and protect but it's warped causing her to not be the healthiest about it ready to give them her corruption to join her join her so they can't fade and leave her. Her instincts and primal wants are running high, desiring companionship and ready to devour other pokemon for their flesh and life force

Poached, this one was mentioned briefly in a multiverse fic, this May was like canon May once but was captured in a darkball that broke apart her body while warping her stats to max level, the process of forcing her body to it's maximum potential and strength saw altered concentrated Mewtwo cells be placed into the gaps where her body was broken, essentially she had that bone breaking height surgery but it added chunks of new mewtwo segments to her body making her taller and like a normal mewtwo but warping her physically so she looks incredibly strange but is very powerful and it is best to not approach her while she's still in control of the darkball as she can't hear you.

Battle ring is a kind of joke au between me and @xhunterbeatsx where May gets captured and put in a battle ring hence the name but is given synergy iv supplements much like their Syn does to make her more powerful/improve her performance/actually activate her power. Because of the synergy exposure shes started to get a bit of Jekyll and Hyde syndrome with her hand that's starting to be affected by the synergy twitching and moving on its own, she has also gain a more deranged unhinged disposition due to constant beatings in fights and the fact her autonomy is essentially violated over and over as she's forcefully needled to be given the drugs even tho she had tried begging pleading crying for them not to, at this point she's given up trying to stop them and is a bit unhinged with newcomers and dirty lmao she's dusty as I imagine the battle area is like sand/dirt floor

Corrupt Battle is obviously what will eventually become of her, the synergy crystals accumulating under the scar tissue where she's been repeatedly jabbed her hand is still quite Hyde to her Jekyll and probably acts following the synergys command, she's probably a bit more broken now and would let the corruption take over her

And finally Amputee May an au of an alternative au ending that's not canon XD because I got attached. If you've not read the fic or seen the art May gets a huge crystal lodged in her leg and falls to corruption but is saved later by Syn and Darkness but in the meantime her leg below the crystal had become rotten from the wound and lack of blood ect and could've be saved so in the process of deshadowing her she lost her leg, her hues don't fully recover from her corruption either leaving her dull and her freckles ashy and she's understandably quite depressed here for it all, her scelara are slightly grey too to indicate that although she's cursed the corruption still claimed part of her soul

God that was depressing, have an Ourple! Because I wanted to see what she'd look like as a purple mewtwo instead of her usual color, ngl don't lie it as I did only color shift it looks strange but she cute

Great question! I’m sure you’re not the only one confused, so I’ll try my best to explain it well. Okay. So, when Tikki and Vecna “unify” in ch. 18, it’s meant to be very different from how unifying kwamis works in MLB, and that is because of Vecna. As opposed to being an entirely new kwami, Vecna is half of Tikki. “Unifying” the two, in my story, is more like recombining two halves of a broken kwami. When I say “broken,” I mean how Tikki was losing control of her creation power (as well as her miraculous literally being cracked). To put the unification process simply: “broken” Tikki + Vecna should make a Normal Tikki. However! Vecna was created by a dark/fundamental magic that is “of the Earth.” That magic is not compatible with normal kwamis (who come from space). Because Vecna and Tikki can’t fully recombine, they have a partial unity. They are both tied to Will’s soul and bonded to each other, which stabilizes Tikki (filling in her cracked miraculous), but they can never recombine fully.

If the explanation for unifying doesn’t make sense, then don’t worry too much. 😊 It’s not super important how it works. All that matters is Will has two kwamis. He can’t ever take off his earrings or renounce his two miraculous. And he can switch between his upside down powers and his ladybug powers

Regarding your omega or alpha post, I also think that, even the sex scenes aside, just from a character perspective both options can be so interesting and make so much sense!

I'm gonna switch this around to Lewis, actually, because Omega Lewis is SO good: With everything he does and all the odds and abuse he's faced and all the things he's defying and overcoming, being an Omega would just be another thing to underline that. Literally defying the status quo, as in, you have this guy who is an Omega in a sport full of literal Alpha males and he, out of everyone is The Best at it, has the most titles, is the most famous? He's so much more of a target than any other driver already, then add this second gender and there you go, it just adds to everything! Also, being an Omega on the grid might just mean a certain (psychological?) distance from everyone else, a trust and closeness in only very specific individuals (Seb, Valtteri, then Max for MY purposes lol), Idk if I'm making sense but it just fits so well with him and the narrative, you know? It's just. Delicious. To then have this payoff of him being who he is and doing what he does, you feel me? And I think playing around with that just on a characterisation level could have so many layers to it. I also just think that bottom Lewis is hot, so.

But then Alpha Lewis is Just As Good and can be used in a way that's Just As Compelling, because now you have him being an Alpha but *also* defying norms that come with that, especially within this sport, with his hobbies outside of it, the fashion, being flamboyant, he gets easily critisised for everything about him that doesn't immediately say Alpha, yet on the few occasions where he does show teeth suddenly he's Aggressive. That sorta thing. Still about defying norms, really.

I also think that mainly because of that he'd be so attractive to Omega Max who's grown up in a household that is not the safest space and then right there is an Alpha who has all the strenght and confidence and charisma that you'd associate with one but at the same time he is so Different from what Max considers to be The Norm and AM I MAKING SENSE? 😭

41,198 (and the deleted fics would only have added around maybe 1000 words? 2k max but I don't even think they added up to that much)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

the only fics left are for DBH now, I have considered writing for Sandman, but tbh. there's sooooo many good writers in this fandom, anything I want to exist as fics is pretty much already there or in progress of being made and so I'm rather content to focus on art, slow at it though I may be :'D

er, well since there's only 4 of em:

1. no one can tell where your heart is (885, still in progress. and has been for a while I am so sorry)

2. lay bare the fire in me (328, .....the same as above. but I do have outlines for both fics, they WILL get finished dammit :'D)

3. and I don’t dance, but here I am (87, ...which is the sequel to 1 I couldn't wait to write even though the main fic isn't done yet xD)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I usually do or try to, even if it's just a short answer, because I love engaging with people over things that are important to me (and with comments I don't have to start the conversdation so to speak).

I do however have a few comments left in my inbox that I have not answered due to the crushing guilt of not having updated in so long.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

freedom is a length of rope (technically also in progress to have a more hopeful ending added, but the longer it exists, the more I want to. keep the angsty ending it has. also guess where that title is from lmao)

and I don’t dance, but here I am though the in progress fics will likely end on the same level of everything is good and nothing hurts

no, people have been very nice and also so infinitely patient with me! TAT

While not hostile, the weirdest I got was someone trying to convince me to let them sort of cowrite the fic with me? I respectfully declined because I did (I do TAT) have the general story outlined.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

...haven't yet, but the two fics in progres will have it. We'll find out h kind then I suppose.

I have not and don't know if I would? If I did I'd probably only very loosely do it, because I am not confident I could do each included world/fandom justice. That's easier with art for me than writing.

not to my knowledge, but with barely any existing and only half of em finished I would be surprised :'D

I.. don't think so.

no, and tbh I'd probably be very intimidated to try.

....ohhhhh noooooo, I hate picking favorites :'D

but I think one that's been with me since forEVER is Ace Attorney's Wrightworth (or NaruMitsu as I got to know it hehe).

In newer terms I think Dreamling will stick with me too.

freedom is a length of rope like I said, the more I think about "fixing" what happened in chapter 1 in an additional chapter, the more I find myself leanign towards "no. this works better as an angsty oneshot"

hmmm, not sure I write enough to really find em. minimalism? Shorter stories in a more minimal style I'd say.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

hilariously, I think that's also minimalism. because writing longer overarcing storylines when this is your go to becomes difficult.

Or maybe that's just "long interesting storylines that aren't super predictable or cliché"

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic.

well, I am German, so if the opportunity presented itself for a character where it works I could.

as far as writing in general in English goes. idk, I spent a lot of my time conversing and writing in English even outside the internet, and it's hard for me to judge how well lI'm doing in terms of er. written eloquence? I try my best and that's all I can do really.

For languages I don't know, I'd probably try to find someone who knows them or make really sure I've got it correct, I don't trust google translate enough :'D

unless we count the NaruMitsu proposal RP I wrote with a friend in ICQ, but that was never published outside that chatroom xD
