I hate how queer ppl are sometimes expected to either be extremely proud and vocal about being gay or self loathing and closeted about it, with no nuance. Like I'm a secret third thing. I know there's nothing wrong with who I am, but people think there is so much that my life can be in danger. There's nothing to be proud of about that. There's nothing good about being trans, nothing, especially being trans in Florida. I don't hate myself for it, but there is nothing for me to be proud of.

I’m so sick of having to console /talk people down from hurting themselves. I don’t mean this as in “oh I hate these people” but it’s just so tiring. The worry I feel when I have to go out and I’m allowed to go on my phone, and can’t explain to my parents bc then I’ll never be allowe online

It’s exhausting doing it over and over, especially when I’m struggling myself, reading why they think life isn’t worth it and almost agreeing. You get so tired. And even if you come up with the perfect argument once, you can’t repeat it or it’ll seem like you don’t care and are just reading something you found online. Going to vent and then feeling selfish because so many people have problems already. Augh there’s no point I’m trying to make, just tired. I wish I wasn’t having to console teenagers much older than me. I wish I didn’t feel so guilty about it. I wish everyone had access to a professional who could help.

Man, I remember how excited I was at the idea that BTS would be taking a break after the Festa dinner only for it to be the exact opposite. I really thought the guys would get some much needed down time to relax some more and let each member get their focus while the others worked on their stuff.

How stupid. They’re working even harder than they were before, just not on anything that made people fans in the first place. Every day I get on Twitter and someone has shared yet another commercial BTS has filmed over the course of the last few months and I know some of it was filmed more recently because of their hair. All while there’s a never ending stockpile of content constantly being released from well over a year ago now because Hoseok is still platinum fucking blonde in that content.

They film so much stuff it’s insane to me. Game app collabs, 3 this year, commercials for SO many brands, so fucking many, they promo-ed the webtoon this year, filmed for Sowoozoo, Festa, Memories, Season’s Greetings, Youtube, Weverse general content, Weverse membership content, Japanese fanclub content, merch (Dalmajung, Busan, etc.), and just so many other things I can’t even list them all out.

Like no wonder Joon’s been so emotional lately, that’s the burn out baby. Also the stress of their government/media fucking them over and over and over again between enlistment delay, negative media coverage about Festa, and the Busan EXPO bid and how badly that was going in the beginning with even more negative coverage. 

Like I can’t even imagine how stressed they all are at this point. And no matter the outcome on military service it’s not like they get a break either way. If they have to enlist then that’s no vacation, they don’t get down time...and they get even less if they get exempt ‘cause you just know it’ll be about more filming, a world tour, just go go go, gotta continue to ride this popularity for as long as possible because eventually some of this will die down and mellow out. Which means less money, so make it all while you can. And it’s gotta be tough for them given the company does rely so heavily on them and their image, BigHit IS BTS, and none of HYBE’s other groups can compete with BTS yet, not enough to loosen the focus on them.

Also there’s just been a lot of overhaul in the company that’s been happening subtly like Supreme Boi removing HYBE from his IG bio, Son their dance director also not working with them on dance choreo anymore (also removing info from his bio), seems like there’s some changes happening inside the company too that effects the group.

So whatever it is Namjoon/they wanna tell us, I’m definitely tuned in to know what it is ‘cause the more things leak out it seems like maybe more than JUST enlistment news. Edit: It was just enlistment news LOL

~Man. As I get older, the more the Chris-chan shit boils my piss. Because they are and were a shitty person but holy fuck was Chris given a rough deal from their parents being, to put it nicely, products of their Era to the unforgivable amount of bullying and torture from their 'trolls', most of whom are terrible fucking people.

Chris isn't special. They never were, but for the crime of being autistic and on the early internet, they were harassed and mocked all for a bunch of social outcast, myself included, to point and laugh. Yeah, some shit was funny, but the mental strain of being constantly harassed I believe resulted in some of shit going the way it did with....current events with Chris-chan.

Chris isn't magically absolved of any of their actions either, but I do think st the end of it they were the victim at the beginning... not any more now.

Don't know, but it feels like this is just another reason why just because a screen separates us that there is still a person on the other side of the screen.

Reminder to always ask what it is that people aren't saying in these ads.

A lot of them want you to think that it is your personal taxes as a working-class person that they're talking about. But if it's taxes on the rich that they're "holding the line on," then they're using your desire to survive with a greater portion of your own income as fuel to keep the upper classes from paying their fair share.

I keep getting the same three or four political ads (half aren't even for the district I live in) and I'm frustrated that they use these transparent tactics and that there are probably people that don't have the time or background to take that moment to go 'what are they hoping I hear in this? What are they actually going to do?'
