You were sprawled in a stupidly large, comfortable bed, fluffy comforters almost devouring you. Music played softly over a radio placed on a dresser across the room, along with the soft hum of the bedrooms overhead fan slowly whirling in steady circles. The room was a mess, clothing and makeup haphazardly laying around. Several juicy gossip column magazines had been thrown around here and there. You had one such magazine in your hands, lazily reading the salacious dramatized versions of the latest love lives of the rich and famous.

You were in the room of your… well. It was hard to describe what you were. Girlfriend didn’t sound right, and lover sounded stupid. Situationship, maybe? Friends with benefits except you don’t see anyone else? There wasn’t a name for being gal pals with a creature who regularly twisted men to her will, driving them mad with desire and in turn often getting herself maimed in horrific ways.

She was a monster, countless murders were because of her. What she even was was never spoken about. You weren’t sure if even Tomie knew. You knew there were… others of her. She had been very displeased in disclosing that, as if you would run off to find another Tomie. Of course there wasn’t a chance you would ever do something stupid like that. For whatever reason she decided you would be who she let hold her at night when she was so sought after, you counted yourself as the luckiest son of a bitch in the world. Not saying she didn’t have her ‘quirks’.

“You’re really reading that when I’m standing right here?” A shrill voice broke the lull, sharp and commanding. Lowering the magazine to look at the source, the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen was standing at the end of the bed with her hands on her hips. There she was… Tomie. The girl of everyone’s dreams. And boy, did she look pissed.

Her perfect face scrunched up as she glared down at you. You just stared at her for a moment before using your quick thinking to deduce why she was mad (this time). Ah, of course…you hadn’t watched her the second she came back into the room and dared to look elsewhere.

“Oh, sorry. Didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to read now.” You responded sarcastically, clearly not phased by her attitude. You were used to it.

“You should be sorry. I’m standing here before you, and you don’t even look up? You’d rather have your nose buried in a stupid magazine?” She responded with a huff and a roll of her eyes. You bit back telling her it was her stupid magazine in the first place, “What could be so interesting, huh?”

After that, you were jostled as she flopped into the blankets next to you. You laughed as she had to shimmy & roll a bit to get over to you. She was wearing comfortable clothes, a simple tank top and shorts that showed off her pristine skin. It was always a wonder to you how she had no scars despite the wounds you had seen her with. She has no obvious marks on her skin besides the beauty mark near her eye. God, you loved that beauty mark. You loved all of her.

Tomie looked disdainfully at the trashy magazine before snaking her way into your arms, head on your chest as she got into a position so she could read with you as you held the magazine out for the both of you. She was cold, her hand resting on your stomach where your shirt had ridden up. You didn’t know if she did it on purpose, but she gently let the tips of her fingers slide under your shirt, just enough to rest her whole palm over your lower stomach. It gave you butterflies.

The two of you read through the magazines pages, laughing and gasping appropriately at the drama. You would both make comments (hers far crueler than yours) about people’s outfits. When it came to a page of particularly beautiful women in a fashion show, you feel Tomie’s eyes slide to you. This was definitely a test and you passed by quickly turning the page. Regardless, Tomie was tired of sharing your attention with the pictured women and she took the magazine out of your hands, propping herself up on her elbow besides you. She tossed it to join all of the other discarded items on the floor.

“Enough of those cheap girls. You don’t need to look at them when I’m here.” She was right. You looked over at her, opening up your arms a bit more to invite her further into your space. She leaned forwards, lips brushing yours. Her lipgloss smelled like cherries, her silky hair spilling towards you. Everything about her was intoxicating.

Your lips pressed into hers and she immediately sprung her trap. Sitting up, she pressed her palms against your shoulders to pin you to the mattress as she pulled away from the all too short kiss. Slinging her leg over your body, she sat on your stomach. It was a little uncomfortable but you were certainly not going to complain. After she was in position, she looked down at you triumphantly. If she was a spider, you were a willing fly walking into her web.

“There we go. Now you’re looking at me, as you should be.” Her manicured nails gently caressed your face as you were looking up at her in clear admiration. “Well? Are you going to say something or just stare at me?”

“What can I say besides what you already know?” That was a rhetorical question. You knew damn well she wanted to - needed to - hear you shower her in compliments. “That you’re gorgeous? More stunning than any of those girls in that magazine.. no, in any magazine.”

In response, Tomie hummed on top of you, her nails now grazing down your throat to run over your collar bone. It was also not missed how she lowered herself more onto you, giving a slight grind against you. That was encouragement if you’d ever had any.

“I’m so lucky to be here with you. You make my life as beautiful as you are.” You gently placed your hands on the sides of her thighs lovingly. Her lip twitched, her expression shifting minutely. She struggled hearing actual romantic sentiments. Being treated like a person and not an object of someone’s crazed obsession was a new experience she was trying to cope with. You tried to continue the sincere sweet talking,

“I mean it…I’ve never been with a girl like you-“

At the mention of other girls you had dated she snapped her hands down next to your head and got close to your face with her eyes hysterical. It had been blindingly fast, and the face she wore was chilling in an uncanny way, like it was something trying to be human but let it slip for a minute. It was small reminders like this that wouldn’t let you forget she was not human, not in the slightest.

“Tell me I’m the best you’ve ever had.” Her eyes were practically pinpricks as she bore them into yours. You shivered at the intensity of it, knowing the dangers of the woman pinning you down.

“You’re the best I’ve ever had.”

After your breathless response, she dove onto you in an aggressive kiss. Her hands had practically morphed to claws as she grasped the sides of your face, sliding up to your hair as she caught your lip in her teeth, looking you in the eyes with that same crazed gaze. You winced as blood broke the surface of your soft lip, her blunt teeth breaking the skin with ease. She slid her tongue over your lip, unabashedly tasting your blood. Letting out a soft groan, her hands tightened again before she was forcing your mouth open with her possessive tongue now rolling around yours. Grinding down onto your hips, she was much stronger than she looked. You were both getting worked up, your hands clutching her soft thighs now. Tomie unlatched herself from your face, still keeping pressure on your hips.

“Good girl. Of course I am.” She smiled proudly, smugness rolling off of her. The iron taste in your mouth of your own blood lingered as she swiped a finger over your ripped open bottom lip. She collected your blood on it & had the gall to look down at you with disgust like it was your fault. “Gross. Bleeding everywhere like that.” Despite that, she licked it off her finger anyways.

Even with her weight leaning on you, and you clearly trying to grind against her as well, she just sat there for a moment looking down at you. Her hair was perfect still, not a strand out of place.

“You’re the best I’ve had, too.” Tomie admitted. It was a rare genuine moment from her. Without letting you process that one (AKA say more sappy shit that made her feel something) she leaned forwards again to lock her intense eyes with you. She smiled and it was off, a little too smooth, too wide, to be normal. It morphed into a wolfish grin as her breath brushed against your mouth.

“And I don’t plan on letting you go any time soon.”

I love this question, so lets dive into it.

(Also, it's midnight where I live and I'm tired, so sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes)

Warnings (all very minor): yandere themes, talk about manipulation tactics to keep someone in an unhealthy relationship, mentions of religion, God/worshiper dynamic, mentions of stockholm syndrome, talk about grieving, talk about death

Muzan wouldn't let darling know about the death of an upper moon or any demon that didn't die by his hands.

Why?

Mainly these 3 reasons

1. Less escape attempts/giving up entirely on escaping

He has manipulated darling into thinking demons are immortal. They can only die by their creator's hand.

This is to install fear into darling to make her think that even if she managed to escape, no one would be able to protect her.

2. Fear/obedience

Muzan wants darling to fear them. He doesn't need her love (although he would like it at some point, he just doesn't realize it yet.) He needs her obedience, the others need her obedience.

They don't mind a little fight, but Muzan needs it to stay by a little fight. He can't have her think she would be able to overpower them.

3. Stockholm syndrome/seeing Muzan and the demons as higher beings

Muzan wants darling to beg for him, to pray at his feet. He wants her to know how much better, how much stronger he is than humans.

He wants her to realize that he and the others are superior, that she should kiss their feet and be grateful to be at their side.

They see darling as someone higher than humans but still far lower than them.

If he could make her see all that, that she is in the presence of a God, maybe she'll start to reciprocate the feelings they have for her.

If they can make her see that there is no one better than them and more able to protect her, grand her wishes, she will be at their side willingly.

Muzan needs her to be thankful, grateful. Willingly putting all that she is at his feet, giving him her life.

If they aren't able to consume her literally, they will do it figuratively. Taking all that darling is and making it theirs theirs theirs.

Now back to the question.

Darling isn't really allowed to communicate with other demons besides the upper three and Muzan.

There are some exceptions, of course, she is allowed to be around the other higher ranks (not alone of course) and Muzan thought that being with Daki would expose darling to more positive talk about him from Daki.

So yeah, darling and Daki had a little bond, not big enough to call it friendship, but it was something.

And that something will make darling notice that Daki is never around anymore, as is her brother.

And when Muzan shuts her up when she's asking questions she knows something is wrong.

Either he killed them (which she finds highly unlikely) or something happened to them.

Getting introduced to Kaigaku (more like the upper three showing that he can't touch her, look at her or even breathe in her direction.) is the last piece of the puzzle she needed to realize that Daki and Gyutaro had been killed .

Especially because Kaigaku can't shut up about how great he is and accidentally slipped up on how he would never get killed by a demon slayer, unlike Gyutaro and Daki.

Darling would be shocked at first, because she didn't think that was possible or that there were humans that slayed demons.

And when the shock fades, yeah, she would feel a bit sad.

Her gal pal, her demon she had at least some kind of bond with (beside Nakime) was gone. Daki was the only one who didn't hurt her or force her. She could be mean at times and she could be a bit too persistent with some things, but knowing darling was Muzan's, Daki never really dared to actually pain darling or make her upset.

Darling would shed a few tears and maybe even get mad at Muzan for replacing Daki with that guy.

It won't be long-term, though. The sadness will fade, and she won't really miss Daki, just her company.

Now how she would react to Kaigaku.

Darling wouldn't be allowed around him much because he is male.

And second of all, because he hasn't been a demon for that long, darling can see his human traits very clear.

She can see the coward hiding behind all that big talk. She even gets disgusted by him at times when he's gloating and tells her that she's 'evil' because she doesn't agree with him.

(It's a wonder he didn't get killed already)

Darling knows he will sacrifice others to save his own skin, that's why she doesn't really like him.

But then again, she doesn't like any demon.

Her opinion on him is not related to Daki's death. Darling just goes with a 'tolerable scale'. Daki and Akaza are a bit higher than the rest, but she still doesn't willingly want to be around them. It's more of a: a rather be around them then be around ...

Kaigaku's opinion on darling isn't really there? He finds it strange that the upper three and Muzan himself have a 'human pet' as he calls her.

Kaigaku sees darling as a form of protection if ever needed; he can literally use her as a shield to get away from Muzan or even threaten to kill her when things escalate. (In his mind, it works, but we all know that he would be dead in seconds.)

Kaigaku does take an interest in darling. She isn't a coward (unlike him) and knows things about the higher-ups that no one else does...

Kaigaku doesn't dislike or like darling, but she sure is useful to him and will make himself acquainted with her for those reasons.

Having another thought about girl Paul being in this interesting spot where as an extremely beloved and powerful celebrity she has unique access to women sexually but is perhaps cut off to them emotionally by that dynamic and by the time she settles down with Linda has probably wrestled with a lot of guilt and loneliness. And maybe something she appreciates is she feels Linda doesn't judge her for her history or her layers of artifice and they can just be human beings together, especially if that kind of relationship has seemed so impossible to her before.

oh absolutely. i actually thought a lot about her relationship to other women in her life, bc i think it's really interesting. like paul joins a band with boys and because she wants to be taken seriously she goes "not like other girls" mode and distances herself from more feminine things, but it leaves her isolated from most of her female peers. the closest women to her are basically the WAGs, but cyn would be naturally suspicious because she's not dumb, and i think cyn would end up warning off any future girlfriends from trusting paul entirely. it's that story of how she told pattie the wives would never have what the beatles have with each other, but in this universe cyn's like "paul can be a friend when she wants to be, but she's theirs not ours."

and then obviously paul is having sex with women, but this is still the '60s and she's still mostly closeted, so it's not like she can have a steady relationship with any of them, not to mention the power imbalance, like you said. the only women she really has access to are women who idolise her to a sometimes dehumanising degree, so i think the only time she can really connect with other women is when they're also in the industry and they Get It, so like mary hopkins or marianne faithfull.

i think even before linda, jane is the main person who fulfills this sense of female connection for her, but like in real life it's very fraught because paul is in a different stage of her life. she obviously can't date jane openly, but i think they fall into a sort of homoerotic girl best friends situationship for a few years, where they're sort of dating but sort of not, while everyone assumes paul's going to marry peter asher one day or something. i don't think either of them take the possibility of an actual relationship seriously, because it's just kind of unfeasible from where they stand in their public images, but jane is known as paul's closest female friend and they get the Gal Pals treatment. but everything's very vague and confusing between them personally, and paul still sleeps around as much as irl, and also jane hates paul's relationship with john even more because with the added element of friendship in paul and jane's relationship, jane has to suffer that age old problem of "why is my beautiful perfect friend so hung up on this terrible man? i hope jakey dies".

and then after jane gets fed up with the john of it all, and everything starts breaking down, paul finally comes to a place where she just wants something real that she can solidly rely on, which is where linda comes in. and linda is industry-adjacent so she Gets It, but is also not hung up on public perceptions the way an actress or another musician might be, so it gives paul the space to worry less about it, and focus more on being loved.

i just wanted to thank you for your color theory stuff because it's really helped me with my character design and my understanding of visual language. it's helped me deepen the way my characters interact, for example one of my characters is a purple pal (person?) but the gang he's in is red, showing that though there are parts of him that fit with the gang most of him doesn't. and i wouldn't have been able to come up with that if you hadn't opened my eyes to the possibilities.

i do have a question though have you ever encountered a blue boy/beauty and a green guy/gal before? (i've been calling it a turquoise twosome lmao) what do you think that dynamic would look like?

Anon, I'm so happy my random posts were helpful to you! The story you are designing sounds beautiful, and I'm not just writing that because you are using colors to support your narrative. I love when people create art of any kind, and purple is a luxurious color that I feel is underused even for characters who are wealthy, so I'm glad you are using it for one of your characters.

Also, you can call color-coded people whatever you want. I just like alliteration (the same sound at the beginning of words), so Purple Person is my pick, but all that really matters is that you see the colors because that means I'm doing my job as a color demon.

Now, to your ask -

As a resident of the Southwest, I LOVE that you labeled a Green Guy x Blue Boy pair as a Turquoise Twosome. I hadn't thought of a name for them, but now I'm using yours. THANKS! And another reward for you - Turquoise Twosomes exist . . . mainly in Korea, and a bit in Japan.

Thailand finally entered into this specific color-coded fight this year after years of the Blue x Red dynamic, but normally, all countries regularly color code the female best friend as a Green Gal because they are jolly, laid-back, and non-threatening, which is perfect for a girl in a BL.

However, Korea tends to like Turquoise Twosomes because the Blue Boy is introverted, stand-offish, and smart while the Green Guy is extroverted, charismatic, and persistent. It's the perfect cat x dog energy.

I believe that this stems from Korea's het-romances where the two leading men are each coded blue and green while the female lead is a Red Rascal who must pick between the two. Korea just cut out the middle (wo)man and let the men finally kiss in its BLs.

I greatly enjoy this pairing. Even when the pair aren't truly those colors, if they pop up in them at the same time, my heart flutters a bit.

So, yeah, the green and the blue ARE dating, and one of them is really excited about it, and the other one is slightly concerned.

My favourite elements of whump have to do with power dynamics, intimidation, dread, and angst. I love captivity-with-a-cause: kidnapping for ransom or as leverage over someone else, prison (in fantasy or historical settings, less so for modern settings though it’s not a hard rule), and the like. Fantasy presents so many creative versions of this trope, so I do love me some fantasy whump! It also gives lots of opportunity for dungeons, shackles, and other fun implements like that. Gratuitous tying or chaining up is always delightful to see. Pining, desperately trying to protect a loved one (…and failing), and self-sacrifice are other big tropes I love, so expect to see lots of those!

As for characters, I love it when they are as far as you can get from perfect, pure, and innocent—when they’re good enough people, but whose flawed or maybe even problematic decisions lead them into trouble. Always, always, I want my characters to have a hand in their own fates. Pure-hearted victims of the narrative who simply fall into a whumpy situation are cute and fun, but not what I tend to write.

Okay I’m back on my Mummies nonsense and I’m thinking about the untapped potential of Amanda Carnovan and wanting to bite something.

Like, I get that this is a late 90s Y7 show so of course the normal adults aren’t necessarily going to be involved very much given who the target audience is but we could have had SUCH FUN DYNAMICS between Amanda—technically mother of the pharaoh and also a certified Egypt nerd—and the Mummies. The Mummies, who would be an ancient civilization researcher’s WET DREAM because they’d be the ULTIMATE primary sources to their era of ancient Egyptian history. I may be projecting a bit, but having people who LIVED IN a civilization three thousand years ago AND who would be able to verbally talk about their experiences (biases and all) would be so cool.

Plus, I think Amanda and the Mummies would have gotten along so well. Like, they canonically respect her despite never really interacting with her purely on account of what Presley says about her.

I can see Amanda talking parenting and leadership with Ja-Kal and them confiding their doubts and hardships to each other that they wouldn’t talk about with anyone else. Like, for example, Amanda is a single mother working a full time job, and Ja-Kal struggled with balancing his responsibilities as the prince's guard with his duties as a father and husband. I think both of them would have a lot to talk about regarding work-life balance. Plus, Ja-Kal in the show was edging very close to "dad who stepped up" territory. I'm not saying that Ja-Kal and Amanda would get a romantic subplot (Amanda doesn't seem to be interested in looking for a boyfriend and Ja-Kal isn't either) but I feel like they'd become platonic co-parents in the right circumstances.

I can see Amanda just absorbing every historical and arcane lesson Rath gives and chiming in with her own knowledge. They’d butt heads and argue over specific facts for hours, both being entirely too stubborn at times to give the other an inch, but at the end of it all they’d do it again because they’re both nerds and love the pain of their research.

I can see Amanda and Nefer-Tina becoming gal pals, maybe at first being friends solely because they’re the only women in the group but ultimately enjoying each other’s company; Amanda affirming that Nefer-Tina isn’t wrong for being fascinated by modern advances while Nefer-Tina gets Amanda to break out of her shell a bit by dragging her along to experience the modern world with her (I can see circumstances conspiring to get them stealing a car together and I think I’m right about it).

I can see Amanda and Armon bonding over cooking and exchanging recipes from their respective cultures, even if they may have to substitute a few key ingredients for Armon’s recipes (I doubt Amanda would be able to get her hands on hippo steak, sadly).

Plus! I also want to see Amanda’s reaction to hearing that 1) her baby boy is the reincarnation of a murdered Egyptian prince from three thousand years ago (and one she made a full exhibit about and probably rambled to Presley about for months), and 2) the man who killed him the first time is still around in present day trying to not only do that AGAIN, but use her son’s soul to attain immortality for generally nefarious purposes.

What I’m saying is I wish we could have seen Amanda’s reaction to the Mummy Nonsense because she would have been a WELL of interesting character interactions and also likely caused Scarab headaches personally by beating him up for trying to repeatedly murder her son.

And don’t even get me STARTED on Walter! He was presented to the audience as Presley’s best friend but we hardly see him at all! We could have had Walter as the best friend sidekick! The non-chosen character stuck in the chosen’s orbit! He could have been a Toby Domzalsky or a Connie Maheswaran before those characters even EXISTED! We could have had Walter struggling with pressure from the Mummies to be as dogged and dedicated in his defense of Presley as they are because they see Walter as Presley’s last line of defense, someone who can protect Presley where they can't. After all, the Mummies can’t follow Presley into school and have to be careful about going out in public on account of their whole undead situation. It could be really interesting to see Walter get continuously pressured by these adults who literally died in the line of duty to follow in their footsteps, even if it meant meeting the same fate as them. It would have been interesting to see the Mummies be struck with the realization that they made themselves forget that Walter is a kid too and someone very dear to Presley, and that they were wrong to try and pressure him into becoming a warrior like them. It would have been interesting to see them try to atone for the way they treated Walter as another soldier for their cause. It would have been interesting to see how Walter buckled under the pressure the Mummies heaped on him and even more so if Scarab tried to exploit it because in his darkest moment, Walter would have just wanted all of this Mummy Nonsense to STOP and for everything to go back to how it was before (even though that’s impossible) and almost costing Presley his life because of it.

And Elaine! How cool would it have been if she didn’t have her memories conveniently wiped and she just elbowed her way into the Mummies’ and Presley’s crazy world of gods and monsters out of rabid interest in getting the truth, even if she has to learn a lesson about how not all truths are created equal and sometimes lies and secrets are made and kept to protect the innocent! We could have had an episode where Elaine gathered proof of the Mummies and Presley’s involvement with them and was SECONDS away from publishing before she’s confronted with the reality that Presley keeps his involvement with the Mummies under wraps (ba dum tss) because the anonymity surrounding his modern identity is the only thing keeping an immortality obsessed madman from turning up on his doorstep or in his class to LITERALLY KILL HIM AND EAT HIS SOUL. We could have had her be the reason Scarab learns Presley’s modern identity and her having to atone for putting him in MORE danger.

Ugh. There's just so much wasted potential and it makes me sad.

Persephone!Eternal (Sephia) & Hecate!Eternal (Kaetlyn) Vaguely Sapphic Friendship Headcanons

(AKA: Just All-Powerful Immortal Gals being All-Powerful Immortal Pals/Necessary Rundown of these Besties Powers & Dynamics)

Warning(s): mad bad b*tch energy, gals being gals, neurodivergent reader/OC being neurodivergent, Kaet is her own warning honestly, Druig x Hecate!Eternal & Ikaris x Persephone!Eternal if you squint

So, let’s review these two beautiful, i n c r e d i b l e, powerhouse Eternal goddesses, shall we?

Persephone!Eternal Reader (AKA Sephia) is an INFJ Thinker Eternal who can control crops and plants, as well as make any plant in any environment thrive. However, being the smart cookie she is, she knows that plants need to fit in their surrounding environment in order for an ecosystem to properly thrive and humanity to properly evolve from there. She does this through a very unique ability of actually listening to that specific region’s terrain depending where she is on Earth. Each specific region/different terrain has their own unique personality. Sephia listens and makes the plants/crops and can control from there. And yes, this technically also makes her an earthbender. She also has some neurodivergent tendencies, and has a lot of trouble connecting with her fellow Eternals, and especially humans. Although her mind works differently, she is extremely brilliant and find connections that most of the others in the team could never consider.

Hecate!Eternal Reader (AKA Kaetlyn) is an ENFP Fighter Eternal who has umbrakinesis (the ability to generate and manipulate shadows/darkness). She can control the shadows of her surroundings whether the objects are sentient or non-sentient. She can also use her shadows to create portals as a way to teleport, or she can merge with them and shadow travel. She is also incredibly intuitive and ambitious, always wanting to know more. It was through her perserverance to gain knowledge that she attracted the attentions of Agamotto, Freja, and Dormammu as her three teachers in the mystic arts. By the time she left with Druig, she had amassed such a huge amount of power and knowledge that she was sworn to make her identity unknown unless there was absolutely no other way. She was also the Eternal who founded many medicines and surgical techniques, as well as delivered the earliest human women’s children.

If you are still here, great! Let’s move forward!

Ok first things first, these two practically INVENTED the idea of best friends. They literally love each other so much, there are no words. These two make the term “opposite attract” because they are the perfect inverse of each other.

Also, how these two act around one another is pretty much the number one reason why Druig and Kaetlyn took so damn long to get together in the first place. If you don’t include the fact that the two dumbasses are also just oblivious idiots.

Sephia is very uncomfortable with social interaction, with both her family and humans. But all that goes out the window when she is around Kaetlyn.

Kaetlyn is insanely touchy and affectionate, she will never NOT shower Sephia with praise and love when they are together.

She will also typically be the one to initiate the affectionate acts, but Sephia has moments when she first acts too.

These two at any time of the day will likely be doing any of the following: holding hands; lying on each other’s laps; take naps while lying on said laps; dancing with each other; kissing each other on the nose, cheek, back of hand, hand’s palm, forehead, hair, etc.; arms wrapped around each other’s waist while chin placed in neck crook; finding free time to go on picnics; whispering inside jokes and giggling; giving each other flowers; feeding each other; wiping each other's tears; linking pinkies; linking arms; forehead touches; tender stares; sharing soft smiles; braiding each other’s hair; going shopping with each other; sleeping in the same bed

Honestly, the list could go on forever

Why would these two lovely ladies sleep in the same bed? Well that easy to answer! See Kaet may have dissected too many deviants and preserved them in so many jars to the point her old room had been secretly converted to a mad doctor’s surgical suite. As a result, she'll just sleep over at Sephia’s room.

Sephia had ZERO problem with this arrangement, and the girls tried their very best to keep it a secret. Granted she made sure Kaet thoroughly washed herself of any blood stains and bodily fluids because Sephia refuses to cuddle Kaet smelling like rotting flesh and chemicals.

But Ajak found out when Kaet had to leave for an emergency deviant ambush, and Cerbie wandered into her room because he missed his mama’s scent and he left the door opened a crack.

The reveal wasn’t that bad, but Phastos did in fact scream and faint, and Kaet thought it would be funny for him to wake up on her metal surgical table, only for Phastos to scream even louder and faint again.

Kaet is the definition of a mad lass menace

She did end up getting a new bedroom, but she still liked to sometimes have sleepovers with Sephia.

Kaet was so happy to get her lab approved, but she thought that Sephia deserved a place to conduct her own research too.

So naturally she fills Sephia’s room with her experimental crops to convince Ajak to get Phastos to make her another room so that this old new room can be used for plant research.

This poor man is so tired y’all

He just wants to go to one week without Kaet causing him a migraine but he loves her like a sibling

A very annoying younger sibling who won’t stop attempting to give him a heart attack

Also, because Sephia is so introverted, she will not go to social engagements

And if she’s there, it was done by one of the following: 1) forced by Ajak, 2) dragged by Sersi, 3) attached by Kaet’s side for the entire night

If at any point she loses sight of Kaet, she will freeze and just dart to the nearest empty corner to plan out her escape

But sometimes she will be approached by Ikaris, and she'll stay because he makes her feel comfortable and they will converse interesting topics

Once she escapes the party she is not stopping until she reaches the Domo and under her blankets and surrounded by her animals

Oh right, I should mention that Sephia has a serious love for animals

She and Kaet indulge each other on this so much

It drives everyone insane but they also love it because they love the animal cuddles

i hear your grievances and i have come to address them!

what can i say, anons. this was one of the changes i really liked from the books. by making alicent rhaenyra's age, they removed the frankly overdone evil stepmother trope. or, rather, by making them childhood companions, they subverted it in an unexpected way. it's really "shut up or i'll fuck ur dad" only with extra layers of tragedy.

i thought their dynamic was really well done actually? i loved how they were framed. alicent helping rhaenyra dress before her ceremonial investiture. the twin faces of sorrow when viserys announces he will marry alicent in the small council room. the deleted scenes of rhaenyra helping alicent in her wedding dress. the hand-holding after the tapestries farce! the "alicent, your grace, sister"!!!! i was obsessed with THE GIRLS in the first half of the show!

i've noticed that the gay subtext really flies over a lot of people's heads & i think it's bc it's more socially-acceptable for girls to display physical affection towards each other than it is for men. so it's easier for viewers to resort to the traditional reading that "they're just gal pals". i was v disappointed with some male asoiaf reviewers i've watched since so many elements that had to do with womanhood were completely invisible to them. it was so jarring. but there was this permeating sense of YEARNING and melancholic tension that emanated out of these two, like you could sense they were meant to be soulmates

i think it's fair to say that rhaenyra is probably a bisexual woman (esp if we also take into account her dalliance with laena in the books), as she seems to also be very comfortable within relationships with men. but, for alicent, i don't really think she knows what she is. that exploration of self was denied to her and her feelings for rhaenyra were misdirected the moment she was forced to have children & fear for their lives. there's also this little-discussed facet of alicent as a queer woman shoved inside a very traditional female matronly role from a very early age. coerced into having old man sex with her decaying husband, impregnated against her will, just very generally developing a noxious relationship with sex. whereas rhaenyra is afforded the opportunity of reveling in romantic love and inhabits the role of motherhood from a much calmer, more balanced perspective

i've already spoken about the symbolism of The Page in the final third of this post, but alicent & rhaenyra are such representatives of their houses' respective ideologies: soft power & diplomacy vs conquest & claiming. alicent wants to tame rhaenyra. rhaenyra wants to ravish alicent. they could have MAYBE balanced each other out in a utopic world where they would have just been allowed to BE & it's so jarring to see how they're torn apart by gross old men who barter with women's bodies and convince themselves they are doing what's right for them & their families. but ofc it's also The System TM as a whole at fault here. no one wins, no one is happy, no one is safe under patriarchal feudalism.

the breakdown of their relationship doesn't happen overnight, it's a ruin dismantled brick by brick by them, their fathers, the society that has no place for them to explore their bond, the bankruptcy of empathy, the failure of trust, but still they cling onto each other whenever they are rewarded a moment of respite!

this is basically the status quo i expected them to settle into, a fake engagement that benefits both of them. im fine with this. 

the real question is what happens going forward, if the show will go down the much hoped for “fake engagement turns to real feelings” route, or if this will turn out to be queerbait and they are just gal pals. Im onboard even if they just stay friends, having the two main characters of the show be ladies with this kind of close relationship is pretty revolutionary for gundam all on its own, but i do hope it isnt just bait. they have a really cute dynamic and id love to see them become a couple. 

tbh im kind of hoping that given how much they’ve already borrowed from utena, they also borrow the season 1 finale. have a dramatic two parter where suletta loses a duel then picks herself up and rematches for miorine because she genuinely wants to be with her this time.

Long rant post but stepping outside my fandom bubble and seeing people call stephcass sisters is always so jarring like I could be wrong but I feel like most of the people saying that haven't actually read the comics they star in and just consume fanon content where the "batfamily" is a monolith. That or they're just throwing the generic homophobic dismissal at them.

(Disclaimer that this is not me saying everyone should ship stephcass and that they hate the characters if they don't. I know a lot of cool Steph and Cass fans who don't care for the romance between them, and that's fine. People are allowed have different opinions and readings on characters and this is not a personal attack on any individual, just a late night ramble on an annoying fandom trend I've noticed.)

No one should be forced to like a ship and I understand complaints that recently they're treated as a bland duo with one personality trait each instead of the complex characters they used to be, but at the same time... Based on canon storylines so far for the past 20 years or so I genuinely can't think of a better love interest for Cass. I can't think of anyone who moved her development along more as a character outside of her actual family. And for Steph, I understand if people like Timsteph, but the feeling I got reading Batgirl-2000 compared to Tim focused stories is that the writers and the narrative respected Steph more. Even after she died. Also its like. Ridiculously easy to read most of their storylines as romantically coded. (batgirl 2000 mostly accidentally, future state deliberately like they were literally canon in that au, batgirls deliberately while also insisting that they're just besties) And even if you don't want to see it that way, saying they're sisters when a) they're not. Like canonically, they are in no way related they're just best friends who hallucinate each other and die in each others arms. And b) Cass explicitly defined Stephanie as a relationship outside of her familial bonds to Bruce, Babs, Tim, etc is just... Idk I've been in too many fandoms that hated f/f ships it gives me the ick.

Harper comes second imo in terms of best Cass romances based on what we've actually seen in comics, and recently yeah stephcass is being marketed as a duo to try and justify the lack of care towards them individually. But it just frustrates me that a decent amount of the dismissal towards them as 'batcest' or 'sisters' comes from the same place as the general dc fan attitude towards them. Which is that it's not worth it to actually get to know these characters and their stories outside of their assigned place in the batfamily fanon. It's why so many fans like to lump Steph in as another one of Bruce's kids and ignore her actual family and the complex and fraught history she has with both them and Batman. (DC does this too sometimes, but imo fanon did it first back during the Dickbats era.)

Obviously a lot of it is general stigma towards female characters and especially female friends who always get hit with the "let gals be pals" trope, but idk. I guess I'm just tired of seeing people talk about stephcass when they don't even care about them as more than side characters. If you're going to say you hate the ship because they're better off as besties at least give me some actual interesting thoughts on their dynamic beyond "Cute sisters who never fight or cause drama! We love women supporting women platonically 💜💜"

ranking my favorite marinette pairings

okay, so, i am a HUGE multishipper. like, i greatly enjoy shipping characters with different people. since marinette has chemistry with pretty much most of the cast in some way, shape, or form, i figured i'd rank my personal favorite ships with her that i'm fond of.

5. feinette

coming at #5 we have fei and marinette! i think this is a very unique rarepair and their relationship and dynamic in the shanghai special is adorable! the only reason they're so low is because i just prefer the others with marinette. i think we really need more of them together, as they were the highlight of the entire special for me. overall, very cute, just not my favorite!

4. marigami

if you asked me to make this ranking a year or two ago, i probably would've put these two lovely gal pals higher up. but my opinion of them has changed drastically since last time so.

i think their relationship is so amazing. the "sunshine x grumpy" dynamic is always something i enjoy (hence why i love tohrin for the same reason). aside from surface level stuff, marinette really shows just how much she cares for kagami. she's her first friend, so naturally, marinette wouldn't want kagami to be left lonely with no one. and knowing marinette, she'd do everything in her power to make kagami feel comfortable and happy when they're together (see mr. pigeon 72).

at first, kagami needed time to warm up to marinette, but she really made a strong impact on her life (gee, i wonder who that reminds me of). i especially like how marinette wanted to get adrigami back together, when that probably wouldn't have even crossed s3 marinette's mind. her willingness to be there for kagami is why i love these girls so much. and kagami actually appreciating marinette's friendship is so wholesome. don't ask me about s5 i like to pretend that season doesn't exist, especially with regard to kagami and how her character was handled.

3. zoenette

first off, i just want to say, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH?? zoe's crush on marinette is so so cute and i REALLY like how they handled it in adoration. zoe's confession was so heartwarming and marinette's reaction and reassurance was wonderful.

zoe, who had practically NO ONE when she moved to paris, is automatically befriended by marinette, who didn't even know who she was and was so welcoming to her. marinette cares so much about zoe and worries for her because she doesn't want her to be a doormat to chloe and wants her to stand up for herself.

eventually, once zoe does, marinette is so proud of her and it really reminds me of the time when tohru congratulated yuki for standing up to akito, but i digress. she can see just how far zoe has come since she first arrived and her growth is everything. their relationship is built on support and trust and that's what makes their dynamic so compelling and sweet.

2. alyanette

MY BABIES. i am a sucker for the "best friends to lovers" trope and this is basically that, just without the "lovers" part. they support each other so much. their level of trust is put to the test in s4 when maribug tells alya her identity. alya, in return, helps marinette out even more than she already has. marinette NEEDED to tell someone of the burden and heavy weight that's been put on her shoulders, and i think alya is the perfect candidate.

contrary to popular belief, alya is an AMAZING friend. she's the one who gets marinette out of sticky situations and doesn't get upset easily if she slips up (see the mime). despite not knowing what marinette is up to at times, alya still puts her full trust in her because she knows that, at the end of the day, marinette will make the right decisions.

i could ramble on and on about these two, but you get my point. also, i can't be the only one who could just FEEL the tension in the air rising during their oh so very intimate scene towards the end of the reverse special. no, just me?

1. adrienette

to no one's surprise, adrienette comes crashing down in first place. i love these two SO MUCH. they care about and love one another in different ways. marinette shows her love through gift-giving and grand gestures. adrien shows his love through words of affirmation and by spending time with someone. they would above and beyond for the other. adrien confronted AND blackmailed lila about marinette's expulsion and her treatment of her in order for marinette to come back to school. (honestly kinda reminds me of haru when he went and confronted akito about what she did to rin). marinette went to adrien's house numerous times to save him from a possible dangerous situation, i.e. oni-chan, gabriel agreste.

in oni-chan, lila sneakily made her way inside the agreste mansion and lied to nathalie about adrien needing to get some extra homework done to bring his grade up. obviously, she has an ulterior motive: to get close to adrien. marinette, hoping to prevent this, follows them. unfortunately, with no luck, she wasn't able to get inside. this does, however, showcase the lengths she's willing to go to for his safety.

another instance of this is in gabriel agreste, after chloe maliciously recorded a video of marinette and her friends talking about gabriel being a bad parent. knowing what this would do to adrien, chloe was planning on showing the video to his father to get him out of school, DESPITE the fact that chloe would never see him again (it's very telling that chloe does NOT care about adrien or what he wants in the slightest, and would rather fulfill her satisfaction of revenge for shits and giggles).

in contrast, marinette, despite sneaking into the mansion uninvited, comes up a plan with her friends to ensure chloe does not show the video. note that her goal was NOT to hurt adrien but to save him from chloe's clutches. this was not out of jealousy in the slightest. the video ends up not getting shown, much to chloe's determination, and adrien is safe, which was marinette's goal from the start.

i could list so many different instances where marinette and adrien show their tenderness for each other but we'd be here for hours. their relationship means everything to me. and as much as i love the other dynamics, adrienette work the best in canon, (again, not going to mention s5) and, unsurprisingly, complement each other really well.

Alright so yesterday I finished Fate: The Winx Saga and here are all my thoughts.

Disclaimer: These are just my opinions, so it's okay if you don't agree w me.

First off, STELLATRIX.

Can't get them off my mind and I'm a 100% sure Beatrix is gonna come back so it's fine. I absolutely love their dynamic and honestly, I've spent all the eps just waiting for their scenes and I am not ashamed of it. Btw, Stella should've been a lesbian, but it's fine. As long as she's sapphic I don't really care.

Also, I'm pretty sure theyre gonna be canon. Like, all their relationship is so queercoded, with parallels w other ships and everything??? No way they're just gal pals. I refuse. So yeah, in other words, I am clowning hard, which is not surprising cause all I ever do in life is clown over sapphic non-canon ships apparently. (I have a long history abt that)

Musa

Musa, girl, what have they done to you? I didn't hate the haircut as much as I thought I would (even tho its not great) but the clothes???? Hello????? It was hard to watch.

Also, I was kind of surprised w the fact that I liked her "transition" from mind fairy to Specialist, so I'm pretty pleased with her storyline. I will say this: I wish she were sapphic. Not bc of anything specific, but I do remember having a moment where I shipped her w Stella, cause I made a whole fanfic in my head abt them, so yeah.

Also, riven and musa????? Look, I don't normally like m/f ships (specially if they're not in a sitcom). Like, I don't hate them, but they don't give me the buzz, yk. Most times I'm just neutral about them, but I gotta say, man, that Riven and Musa... God, I loved their scenes. I found their dynamic so interesting and the chemistry. THE CHEMISTRY. The slowburn is gonna burn so good.

Terra + Flora

V happy with the fact that Terra is a lesbian cause we need more lgbtq+ people in this show (and in life in general). I will say her storyline w the specialist girl is a bit odd cause they don't really focus much on her (which they obvs should've done that) and isn't she dating someone else when they have their first kiss???? A bit confused abt that.

Other than that, I liked her storyline, and even tho her coming out isn't the best one Ive ever seen, I was pretty pleased. Especially the moment where she tells the whole group and she wants to dismiss it w the rug or smth (I forgot lol) and Stella comes in and hugs her???? Melts my heart.

Moving on, I didn't know how I was gonna feel abt Flora?? And I still don't know lol. I will say that the actress did a good job, but I think they should've added more bonding scenes between Flora and the other girls cause it just didn't feel like they were best friends just like the rest of the group? But maybe it's just me. Still, I don't know how I feel about Flora yet. Like, Im pretty sure I like her, but I think it's more about what she represents, (which is the cartoon character) than what she actually is. I definitely need to see more of her.

Also, the relationship w Terra,, it made sense but also it was too predictable. Like, its not bad but I did find it a tad basic and I wish they made it a bit differently. Like, I know it's hard to innovate but idk, maybe add a little something that makes them stand out? But again, maybe that's just me.

Aisha

Idk what to say abt her tbh, I just like her lol. I will say that it didn't make a lot of sense the way she reacted when she first met Grey (I think that's his name but in case its not, I'm talking abt the guy lol). Like, bro, the lake is not yours, chill. So it was a bit hard for me to get into the relationship but eventually I kinda did, so yeah. V sad that the first boyfriend she has, turns out to be a blood witch. The bestie cannot catch a break lol.

I will say that, (a bit of constructive criticism here) I find Aisha as a character a bit flat. And not only her, I think that in general all the characters except maybe Beatrix and even Riven(?) seem pretty shallow to me. Or maybe like, not shallow but as if they haven't still found their own spark? Idk if this makes sense but I feel like most characters fall into these cliches and tropes, which is totally fine, cause nowadays literally everyone needs to fall into one of these, like it's literally unavoidable. But baby, you need to add a bit of their own spark to make them stand out. To make them memorable, yk? So yeah, I wish they stopped and tried to work on the characters a bit more. Like, Stella, Musa and even Terra are not as bad (even tho imo they a bit of work from the writers wouldn't hurt cause Im pretty sure the actresses make more than half of the work in this aspect) but Aisha, Flora, Sky and especially Bloom... It's bad yall. It's very bad (Will explain the Bloom thing later, don't hate me just yet)

BTW: I say all of this out of all the love in my heart, cause I believe in all the characters and I see the potential, and what they could become. And I hate the fact that I can see it and they're just wasting it so yeah. Don't hate me besties <333

Bloom + Sky

I'm sorry but Bloom is the most basic female main character from a sci-fi tv show you can ever have. Like, bro, just put a little more effort into creating her, please. Like, I'm begging. Maybe it's just me, but the bestie is missing personality (not dragging the actress, just the writers and how they did it), cause yeah, its fine if she wants to sacrifice herself all the time, or if she wants to do everything alone cause she's special n stuff but it's like her whole personality is revolving around her having the Dragon Flame. Which yeah, it is important and it is a v important part of her life but dude. Dont make her one-dimensional.

This also happens w Sky btw. And ofc when you put a bland character w another bland character everything gets... well. Not great. But I won't get into their relationship bc honestly, I do not care. Like I said before, m/f relationships don't give me the buzz so yeah.

To wrap it up...

I did like the second season. I would like to say I liked it more than the first one but I barely remember anything of it, so yeah, lol (Im a horrible fan, I know). I will say that idk what it is, that's making me continue the show, cause I normally only consume sapphic/lgbt media, but here we are. And I did want to leave it a few times cause the heavy straight content is so strong, but Im glad I continued it. And I hope they get renewed for a third season cause I really believe that it has potential and yeah, that's all for now ig. Maybe I'll do another post talking abt other stuff, like plotwise or smth. We'll see. But it'll def be shorter than this cause holy shit, this is long for a person who "isn't v into the show anyways" (that's me lying to myself btw lol)

Mina cant hangout with her squad all the time too much of Bakugo Kaminari Sero and Kirishima in one day is a headache and everyone needs a vacation from that LOVE THEM TO DEATH but ya know sometimes ppl be annoying AF

Tsu aggressively starts having feelings for Mina like she has to abstain herself to have a normal day

Shes watching for any opportunity to be close to her friend

Like she's looking at her differently in a new light she notices how pretty she is, that never used to happen before, if they go to the beach she's fanning herself not from the heat but from how Mina's bikini fits her

(I like to imagine Mina is built Mina is a little on the stubby side but shes got a figure and Tsu is super skinny but semi round hips because frog, so Tsu is tall and skinny while Mina is sort of short and fun shape )

she wants to do more than hug for long periods of time, she wants to hold a women it's Jenny darling your my best friend, im using your shirt as a pillowcase, i borrow your lipstick so often

So oneday they are chilling in Mina's room and Tsu kisses her just for the hell of it she can't take this longing one anymore it's so agrrsive at first but it slowly melts into something sweet after that Tsu's sitting on top of Mina both of them are just sitting there looking crazy not knowing where to go from there and keep it between themselves like "THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN, THAT WAS JUST A ONE TIME THING"

Nothing at school is normal anymore it happens more often, they kiss at their lockers when nobody is around, they eat lunch on the roof and kiss there it's just a lot of kissing and not asking any questions

Bakugo wants to see Iida break he wants to see Iida slip up and do something "inappropriate" in front of others

I LOVE SAPPHIC COUPLES I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS

First, I really love that you gave us some background for Tsu, she's always looking for love and it's never the right time or the right person, she just wants to be loved and cared for but it seems everybody else can find their perfect person except for her For Mina, I don't think she has love in her mind like that, she has fun with people but she's not necessarily looking for serious stuff at the moment (or so she thinks).

But when their friendship starts progressing, I think both of them begin to realize they are attracted to each other, they believe the other is the prettiest girl in the world, and both of them love physical touch, so there are lots of hugs and hand holding but none of them ever says anything afraid to ruin it and misunderstand things.

idk why but I feel like mina would kiss first?? just like a peck and immediately pull back bc she's too afraid she just ruined everything but tsu gets her and kisses her properly!!

I think maybe they would unconsciously hide just bc they don't know how to define what they are yet, but everyone kind of knows there's something going on with them, and tsuyu is a Lover, so she eventually says she wants all the dating perks, she wants to be a Girlfriend, she wants all the sweet stuff and mina is in love, she finally realizes that she doesn't mind serious as long as it's with the girl she loves :((

I vaguely remember we talked about them, they are an interesting pair for sure because I think they both don't know how to process and express emotions properly?? like they're both in the same spectrum of "I don't know how to express I'm in love with you so I'm gonna scream"

Love them having dynamics based on challenging each other, bakugo wants to see him break, iida wants to see him be a bit more proper (kinda, bc he likes him the way he is)

POWER DYNAMICS YESSS, iida has so much potential as a more dominant partner especially with bakugo, and I do think bakugo craves that the most (he would never admit it tho). But yes, I can see iida being the only one who can really put bakugo in his place when he's serious about something. Iida would tease him not even consciously like, getting all up in his face and personal space to speak, but not kissing, getting bakugo to move by touching his back or waist but not actually holding him, it drives katsuki insane until he snaps and finally asks (screams) for iida to just do things properly!!!

Discussing Ship Dynamics and the outcome of Marichat in this episode (Elation spoilers)

So after watching Elation, I’m just wondering is next episode gonna be the episode where it’s Adrinette but no one interferes or forces them into some enclosed space to achieve nothing? Cuz legit Ladynoir has had compelling (if not drawn out) development between their boundaries and understanding of each other, and Marichat just got blown so far outta the best gal pals idealised dynamic I wanted in my dreams into such angst that deserves its own rant — so we’re basically being cornered into Adrinette since Adrien has always been more resolute in his feelings, and Ladynoir’s exchange during Elation feels like the understandable place to extinguish any pursuement of romance between this combination of aliases.

I think a significant thing to note is that these two don’t come off of this interaction on the same page. Marinette seems to have resigned herself to the perceived loss of any way to be with Chat Noir: since he confirms that he only has eyes for Marinette, but he knows the power dynamic is unbalanced so he can’t pursue a romance with her as CN (he tries to imply to her that there could be hope if they met as civilians, but he fails to communicate it to her). Marinette at this point is at her wit’s end, and manages to hold out in saying goodbye to CN, before crumpling once he’s finally out of earshot. Because yeah, she legit doesn’t want to perceive Adrien as an option because she believed it was her love specifically for Adrien that made her so incompetent — but this episode leads her to the conclusion that any love she harbours will lead her and-or others to ruin.

It’s not really blatantly stated in this episode, but Marinette has a long running habit of perceiving the worst case scenarios, and sometimes blowing things out of proportion — but she directly experiences almost being akumatized because she pursued her own happiness in her love for CN. She’s traumatised as all hell: 1) CN can’t know she’s LB because… Chat Blanc: 2) She can’t entertain being with Adrien because she thinks her love for him indirectly made her lose her rational judgement (even though anyone coulda mistaken Felix for Adrien honestly, and she was in a time crunch): 3) NOW she can’t even perceive being with CN because she was emotionally vulnerable enough to get akumatized. So to her, she’s basically out of options. Love makes her vulnerable, and pursuing romance is out of the question. She was able to stay strong when she was standing as LB during the fight, and saying her goodbyes to CN as Marinette. She seems to have gotten way better at compartimentilizing her feelings. But yeah, she’s brought to tears the last scene we see her.

Adrien has more hope because he is quite an optimist at heart — which is why he frequently finds himself disappointed when he lets himself believe in the good will of his father. In this episode many things have been conveyed to him in a short span of time. 1) Marinette “still” likes him as CN (who he’s long since perceived as his “true” self): 2) Marinette insists she likes him beyond the mask (even though he can’t truly understand the weight of that statement coming from her): 3) Marinette has long since loved him as Adrien (and hopefully it clicks in his head that this was the secret boy she was heartaching over in Glaciator 2.0).

There’s a lot of eye-opening things going on for him. And CN has truly resolved his feelings for LB so he really only wants to consider being with Marinette. Marinette helped him speak out against his father, has supported him in his civilian and sometimes even hero life, and has shown time and time again to want nothing more than for him to be happy. And she’s the only person (aside from Plagg) that got him comfortable enough to confide to her.

What happened between them in this episode cemented it to him that if he ever wanted to pursue her, he’s gotta do it as Adrien. Plagg gave him enough hope for him to fall back into “Oh of course! She loved me as Adrien before, it’s not hopeless!” She’s never properly resolved her feelings with Adrien, she’s only been avoiding them.

So what this all conveys is that next episode… really better not pull the bs of having other characters force them together with Marinette clawing at the walls. I kinda miss what happened in Gamer all the way back. Just let them vibe. Or idk, do whatever it is they might be doing together in the next episode.
