The sole reason for me creating this list! Look, I dropped Bake Me Please almost immediately because it just wasn't for me BUT I've been lowkey watching through my dash. And let me tell you, my fingers gain consciousness and hit reblog everytime this baby's face pops up because...well...LOOK AT HIM. He is beautiful and he should get the guy (hehe get it) in the end idc.

2) Yok from Not Me (2021)

Yok is such a beloved character and for good reason! He is sexy, he is gay, he sets buildings on fire and steals cops' wallets on accident because HOW WAS HE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT GUY HE WAS STALKING WAS A COP??? I love you Yok, never change.

3) Palm from Never Let Me Go/ OurSkyy2 (2022-23)

The anger I felt for all the injustice and mistreatment our beautiful Palm had to face in this show took literal years off my life. It's rare for me to get this passionately protective over a character and yet here we are, in the Palm Protection Squad headquarters. Even Nueng is on the watchlist!

4) Tonhon from Tonhon Chonlatee (2020)

Not to out myself as an enjoyer of silly goofy times , but I did have fun watching Fish Upon The Sky and Secret Crush On You, so OFCOURSE I thought I would like this one too but GOD was it rough. Did I still finish it? Yes. Did I fawn over PoddKhao pairing and have been quietly praying for some kind of reunion ever since? Also yes. Was I foaming at the mouth barking everytime Tonhon AKA Podd was on my screen? I'm not gonna comment without lawyer present.

5) Tew from My Dear Gangster Oppa (2023)

Speaking of Tonhon Chonlatee...AH! Ai Long Nhai (TC's spiritual prequel of sorts) was sure...something. And by something I mean I saw Meen and decided I will never speak ill of men ever again, feminism quite literally left my body. And then a year later My Dear Gangster Oppa came out and guess what??! MEEN IS THE GANGSTER OPPA! Dreams really do come true, kids.

6) Wen from Moonlight Chicken (2023)

(or Tian from ATOATS or Mueang Nan fron FUTS). Mix...I will eat you. Always so dewy and healthy and sparkly-eyed. But Wen from Moonlight Chicken is something out of the realm of my imagination. The sex appeal? The maturity?? The gentleness??!! Somebody sedate me before I say something I will not be able to justify in court.

7) Vee from Love Mechanics (2022)

He is a pretty bisexual who makes the most abhorrent stupid decisions known to men and then weeps and suffers for them WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED? Once again, is the show flawless or even remotely coherent? Absolutely not. That being said Vee brought me so much joy by being stupid I'm forever grateful.

ok so i’ve been reading some long ass fan fics recently, and they’re both very old and definitely not relevant anymore but idc imma talk about them

both of them are written after dan and phil both came out which is what i wanted, don’t ask me why, i guess it’s this bizarre reasoning i have to reading fics about real people, so if that matters to you, there ya go.

ANYWAY THE FIRST ONE

called “butterfly”; dan is a “winged man”, which is basically a person with wings who needs to occasionally drink blood to survive (not a vampire) and phil is a normal person who is very intrigued with winged people.

winged people are ridiculously powerful and extremely misunderstood cause humans hate everything they don’t understand. obviously.

dan starts off as extremely shy and scared and low key stupid (in the most adorable way ever) and eventually you see why…

the writing isn’t the best imo, but it’s not that bad and the plot makes up for it completely

phil’s pov (ngl phil pissed me off most of the time cause his obliviousness got very annoying at times but still it’s great)

angsty but not too bad imo, with some smut but barely any, and some fight scenes

kind of slow burn but kind of not; it’ll make sence when you read it (and you will read it 😡😘)

there’s SO MUCH ELSE to it but i don’t want to spoil it hehe

this one i’m still in the middle of reading, so the summary obviously won’t be perfect, but i love it too much not to talk about . it’s called “monochrome”.

it follows two storylines that connect to each other: dans video game world and dans irl world

first, dan plays this game called “fall whisperer” and as a person who doesn’t play video games, the way they write it is incredibly enthralling. it follows the game play and dans relationships with the people he has met online through the game.

the game is metaphorically tied to dans irl life, which follows his relationships with his friends, family, therapist, his fwb, and of course, eventually phil.

dan is monochrome and phil is bright and colorful. obviously.

the writing is good, it kinda reminds me of someone trying to act like they can write better than they actually can, and i mean that in the best way possible, cause same bestie. it’s the only way to do it; ya girl loves a good metaphor (there are a lot of metaphors)

dans pov

VERY angsty, but in the sence of dans extreme mental health issues, not in the sence of relationships etc

VERY SLOW BURN but look forward to the flirting-not flirting that dan and phil got going on cause it’s adorable 10/10

more smutty than “butterfly” but not so much it takes away from the story; sex is used as a way for dan to escape his mind so it makes sense.

Tony said "no more surprises" to Pepper and then he was in space for weeks/months (can't remember exactly) and came back nearly dead - You get why he fucked off for 5 years.

Three Ships:

Swanqueen

Regina and Emma were directly responsible for 13 year old me being comfortable admitting I liked girls. Regina Mills has been at the center of who I am for over a decade, and I don’t think I’ll ever let her go. These two are part of me, and I love them so much. Plus me and Emma share a birthday, and the show came out the day after my 13th birthday so it basically belonged to me (in my adolescent brain). They also are responsible for making me become obsessed with the enemies to friends to lovers dynamic haha (I am mentally unwell)

Mumbroom

This is my biggest ship for The Worst Witch 2017 fandom, I absolutely ADORE Hecate and I love her with Julie more than anything!!! It’s not as popular as some other ships in the fandom, but I kind of like that it’s just me and a few other people who ship it tbh. I like the dynamic of a witch dating a non magical, and I love mumbroom specifically because while Julie is Mildred’s actual mom, Hecate sort of becomes Mildred’s school mom while Millie attends Cackles Academy.

Mystrade

I think this ship started out as a bit of a crack ship??? Not just for me, but for the whole BBC Sherlock fandom really. But it very quickly became just as real as johnlock (Sherlock x John) and even though it was never quite as popular, is still my favourite BBC Sherlock ship. Mycroft has always been my fav character from the show, and I think he deserves happiness! Plus Greg is one of the most wholesome characters in the entire show, and even though he has very little scene interaction with Mycroft, they still somehow make so much sense.

First ship: Swanqueen & Snamione (these happened basically simultaneously). Is snamione embarrassing? Yes. Moving on now thanks

Last song: Bringin’ Back Christmas by Ryan Reynolds from the new movie musical Spirited 🫢 guys this is so embarrassing I’m sorry… I actually really enjoyed this movie tho💔

Last movie: Thunder Force (2021) with Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer!!! It’s so sososo good btw, I’ve seen it a bunch of times lol. I watched it a couple days ago with my mom, it’s such a funny movie! I’ve also watched The Addams Family & Addams Family Values in the last week, but those are total classics that I’ve also seen a million times before lol. I love movies!

Currently reading: The Ministry of Unladylike Activity by Robin Stevens! It’s not as good as the Murder Most Unladylike series but it’s still a good addition to the world she’s built in her previous series.

Currently watching: Emergence. I watched it when it first started airing on tv in 2019, but I’m rewatching it with my aunt :) I love you Allison Tolman!!!

just out of curiosity since you mentioned you only have a couple of ships, who do you ship in genshin?

Don't mind me as I panic because I'm literally scared of the shipping-side of fandoms in general (I've seen how people talk to each other on twitter when their ships don't align and, oh boy, I want nothing to do with that...) >.<'

But my ships are fairly popular aside from one... I guess? I have three I like. Just to give a specific number. And while I don't read or write ship fanfics, since I prefer x Reader, I do like to look at fanart occasionally.

Zhongli x Guizhong

I've shipped them pretty much since I started playing the game in 2021. I got super invested into Zhongli's lore and eventually came across her name. Then I started digging deeper into her lore and theories about her and fell in love with her and the ship.

I suppose this is something of a niche ship? Especially now with the new Lantern Rite where GuiPing seems to have overtaken it. And I've already seen people attacked over shipping GuiLi because of that too on twt now... cause apparently it's homophobic to ship them now? Idk... make it make sense. This is why I usually stay out of this.

2. Cyno x Tighnari

These two... I swear Sumeru has changed me somehow because as I stated in prior asks: I'm usually not into shipping characters so whenever I start liking two characters I have a sort of "denial stage" at first where I'm like "nah, I don't ship them... or maybe... no.... yes?".

And at first I was like "yeah they're best friends, whatever"... then I saw more and more fanart and was like "yeah, you know what, they're kinda cute." and eventually fanart converted me into shipping them. So, good job fanartists - the domestic and cuddly scenarios you put them in made me cave 👌🏻

And lastly...

3. Alhaitham x Kaveh

This one also seems to be quite popular and I basically just got past the above mentioned denial stage, haha! 😂

I have to admit I couldn't stand Kaveh at all at first, he seemed like a handful and I was like "yeah, they'd never get along in a million years, especially not as a couple."

Then I played Haitham's story quest and saw the interaction with Kaveh... then I saw more fanart again. Then [insert denial stage here] and I guess I'm now at the point where I can say, yeah... I like them and I also like Kaveh now... he is just such a kindhearted soul (even if he is a bit eccentric, I suppose).

Good job fanartists, once again 🤝🏻

So yeah, that is all of them.

I want to mention that I am really lost when it comes to shipping terminology and I also don't really want to get involved in all that stuff. It's all a bit too stressful for me.

I do want to draw fanart of these ships but I'm a bit too scared to do so and only drew things that could be interpreted as both ship or platonic (they're posted on my art blog, I'll keep this blog clear of that). Because I've seen how vile shippers get towards other ships at times when they don't like the portrayed one... instead of - you know - ignoring it??? Especially on twt.

And don't get me started on some "rules" people have put up for shipping. Like, just let me have the idea of two fictional characters being all lovey-dovey. If it makes me or anyone else happy, who cares? (as long as it isn't problematic ships ofc...)

I never intend to write ship fanfic however since that is something I also don't enjoy consuming myself. I always preferred self-insert 🤷🏻‍♀️

And lastly, idc if anyone ships these peeps with someone else or doesn't ship them with anyone at all. It's fictional characters and at the end of the day... it ain't that deep (which is why I'll never understand why some people make such a fuss over it...)

-he’s one of those people that will literally push all of their weight onto you while standing or laying down. like if you two are in the halls just chilling and stuff he’ll wrap his arms around your neck and will become dead freaking weight. sometimes he makes you fall and you get so embarrassed but he doesn’t seem to care at all lol.

-i think satori can sing a little lol. so like if you can’t sleep or you just need some comfort and attention he will hum low melodies in your ear while he rubs your back so you can either relax or go to sleep. once he sees you sleeping he likes to kiss you on your forehead and prank you.

-which brings me to my next point. tendou satori is a fucking prankster idc. he loves to prank you whether that be jump scares or him just being an ass lmao.

-and if you go along with him and do it back he’ll fall so much more in love with you. matching his energy is such a big thing for him!

-he enjoys serious and deep conversations of course but sometimes he doesn’t really see the need for them. but if that’s what you like he’ll do his best to make you smile.

simply lovely. congrats to max and sergio, good points for redbull here but especially for max. lewis has to hope that he wins the next race + fastest lap and that max finishes 4th and below to make up...i think this is where the competition really starts between the two for me. i hope max manages his starts better as i think this race would’ve turned out differently if mercedes didn’t mess up on the strategy. 

mercedes really lost out here. 2021 doesn’t seem to be going well and i guess i feel weirded out by that lmao, after years of them barely making mistakes. i do feel bad for valtteri because this is another race that people will use to criticise him but it could’ve turned out differently if they went with a two-stop like he suggested. he wasn’t lagging behind this time, he was right there within the top 4. for lewis though, i kinda had a bad feeling when he went for his pitstop and came out behind max. chalking this up to bad strategy.

congrats to mclaren for double points but ahhh i just wish it was dan that came up on top, y’know. it was a good race for dan and it seems like he has gotten a better hang of the car, thankfully. hope this continues on to the next two races and more 🤞🏻 it’s soooo nice to see mclaren p3 in the constructors, above ferrari!!

once again, pierre gasly has placed that alphatauri in the top 10, scoring wonderful points. hope yuki’s coping well within the team though, and not take the difference in results hard because it’s still his debut year after all AND he started from the pitlane. 

aston martin with that double points finish too!! i’m so happy for seb and lance since he started from the back. i’m still gonna wait for another podium from seb idc it’s possible.

“I can’t believe he blackmailed me like that!” You cried out, standing outside the building of the volleyball game you were attending.

“Don’t pretend you weren’t gonna show up anyways. Besides, he got us front row seats! Isn’t that awesome!” Your friend of many years squealed, adjusting his shirt before turning to you with a smirk, “Plus~ after, we’re going to dinner with your future boyfriend~” They teased, and you squeaked, chasing after them as they laughed. You both got in line and entered the building, packed full of people as you talked while walking to your seats according to your tickets.

A week prior your brother, Kotaro, had burst into your room in the apartment you shared, jumping on the bed and shoving two tickets to his next game. You had said you would buy your own tickets, since you wanted to be independent and were sick of relying on "big bro ko ko" but he interrupted you, threatening that if you didn’t take them he would tell Atsumu, his teammate, about your “big fat enormous super fan googly disgusting mushy gushy crush” on him and so you begrudgingly took the tickets. You decided to go with your friend, who was more excited to see your brother than the actual game.

“I can't believe you’re a brother banger…” You murmured. Your friend turned to you, a look of mock betrayal on their face.

“Honey Boo Bear! You dare think I’d cheat on you my beloved snookums?!” They said overdramatically and very loudly. You giggled, playing along with their antics with a smile.

“Pumpkin wumpkin! I can see you have feelings for another who is not me!”

“No! My cuddle wuddle baby poo I would never!-” They said, cut off by your laughter, followed by their own. Of course, even if you were pissed at Ko for blackmailing you into going, you couldn’t deny your excitement to see the Atsumu Miya, who had been the apple of your eye since you first saw him play with your brother. You had created a fan twitter for him for christs sake! That fucking enamored. But, even if he was on the same team with Kotaro, you had never met him face to face.

You had dazed off and couldn’t see nor hear your friend, before they had shaken you back into consciousness.

“Oi! The game is about to start, dumbass!” They said, and you turned to look, seeing both teams enter the court. Your friend screamed and chanted when they saw Kotaro, who waved at the both of you with energy filled motions. And then, as if in slow motion, entered the “love of your life.”

He was like a renaissance statue, carved from the finest marble and shaped into this beauty. His eyes were filled with life as he waved to all his fans, and when he swept his gaze over to where you were standing, it felt as if time stopped. It was like that scene from every cheesy romcom movie where the main character’s heart pounded erratically, and just like in a movie, the breath from your lungs was stolen away. Were you in heaven? This is totally heaven right?

His eyes. Oh, his eyes. Like molten gold, the sun's reflection on a lake. Like the sweetest caramel, that you could practically taste on your tongue. Atsumu seemed frozen as well, before Shoyo came over and shook him awake, turning to the court with a single glance back at you.

“Oh my god I think I might die.” You said, practically falling into your companions arms, who raised a brow at you.

“Are you okay? What happened?” They asked, a concerned expression on their face.

“Did you not see?!?! We made eye contact!! For like! A minute! And now I’ve fallen in love with him and I want his children!” You screamed, and they clasped a hand over your mouth quickly.

“One, crowded area, don’t say that shit out loud. Two, what’s the big deal? Weren’t you already in love with him?” They said, tilting their head to the side to look at you.

“Yes but like we’d never made eye contact! And I’m like! His biggest fan!” You squeaked, your voice cracking as you cleared it, looking desperately at your friend.

“How big?” They asked, and you gave an exasperated sigh.

“Maybe he’s my laptop wallpaper..” You murmured, twiddling your hands together. “Laptop wallpaper” had been an inside joke between you two to measure the depth of your obsession. Laptop wallpaper being the biggest, and twitter profile picture being the lowest.

“Oh my god big big…” They whispered, and you two continued to talk over your dilemma as the game went on.

As the game came to an end, with another victory for the Jackals, the two of you ran down the steps with special access passes, also gifted to you by Kotaro, and ran to congratulate the team. There was a sappy moment where your friend jumped into Kotaro’s arms rambling about how amazing he was, as he walked over to you and raised his hand for a high five, which you begrudgingly gave.

“You suck, butthead.” You said with a smile, and he grinned at you, as you walked off to a brooding black haired man, who was staring off in another dimension before you called his name, “Hey Omi! You did great!” You cheered, and he turned to you with a semi-smile.

“Thanks little Bokuto.” He said, and you rolled your eyes.

“The least you could do is say my name!” “I think little Bokuto works just fine.”

“Omiiii! That is so cruel and mean! I am going to report you on Stop It!” You said, and he laughed. Kiyoomi has been your friend since high school. You didn’t like the idea of being overshadowed by your brother, so you chose a school where no one would recognize you as his sibling, and bumped into Kiyoomi. Literally. And decided to stick around the brooding loner who preferred to eat lunch on the rooftop away from the hordes of people.

“So, did you totally fitz out when Miya came on court?” He said with a knowing smirk, causing your face to heat up as you cried out in protest.

“I did not!”

“They totally did.” Shoyo interrupted, and you spun around to throw a fake punch at him. He dodged with ease and stuck his tongue out at you, and you did the same.

“Shut up!” You yelled, groaning when the two laughed at you, “I’m gonna wait outside for you guys! And Omi! You smell horrible!” You cried, grinning in triumph at his annoyed face, looking at himself covered in sweat and sighing.

You walked out of the gym, waiting outside the doors as you said you would, opting to scroll through your phone idly.

“Yer Bokuto’s sibling right?” A light voice asked by your ear, which caused you to jump and throw a punch out of instinct. A groan and head of blonde hair that you’d seen hundreds of times in twitter edits and your dreams made you gasp. “You sure know how to throw a punch huh? Yowch,” Atsumu grunted, holding his stomach as you panicked and apologized, to which he laughed, “It’s okay! I didn’t give no warnin’ so I scared ya! I get it!” He said, and you blushed profusely.

You just punched your celebrity crush in the stomach, there goes your dreams of a fanfiction type first meeting. You sighed, putting your hand out to shake his as you introduced yourself.

“I’m Atsumu Miya.” “Well obviously.” You said and then gasped at how rude that must’ve sounded. You were about to apologize again until he laughed. He looked at you with those eyes again.

“Yer real funny! I hope yer goin’ to dinner with us, it’d be totally boring without ya.” He said, and you nodded.

“Of course, I promised my brother.” You said, and he did a small fist bump, before pausing and taking out his phone, passing it to you.

“Put yer number in there, pretty please.” He said, and you nodded, typing your phone number and name. He smiled when you handed his phone back, checking the time before whispering curses, “Fuck, I still gotta change, but I’ll see ya at the dinner kay? See ya round pretty!” He called and you waved goodbye blushing at the compliment and chuckling before the realization set in.

The Spring

Fruk week 2021

day 3: power /magic

Note: I'm gonna do the nyos twice. Idc I do what I want.

Sitting against a rock, Elizabeth weakly wiped her mouth from the blood after some soldiers attacked her. They thought she would die from her wounds so they let her suffer by herself. They thought right. If she didn’t find a healer willing to aid her or something to give her strength to use her magic again, she would be as good as dead. She was bleeding internally. They probably broke one or two ribs, those bastards. She split some more blood and took a deep breath. If only she had access to water, she could reduce the taste of blood and wash her wounds a bit. She could barely move, let alone stand and walk to find some water.

She also knew that she was far away from any civilization somewhere in the south east of France. She thought she could escape the authorities of her own country as she was wanted for sorcery. The French also found out about her. The English probably told them, those wankers. They were always at war and would destroy each other, but they managed to work together to exterminate the witches. If Elizabeth would find a way to get out of this alive, she promised herself to seek revenge on those soldiers and the kings.

Soon enough, her body weakened and she couldn’t fight the will to stay awake anymore. Her eyelids slowly closed and she fell asleep as fast as the French soldiers took to knock her out.

When she regained consciousness, the first thing Elizabeth noticed was how she felt some strange, but good tingling though her whole body. She could hear a waterfall only a few feet away and part of her body laid in the warm water. It was as though the water eased her pain away the longer she stayed in it. She had no idea how she ended up in this place or if it was a dream. Everything felt so peaceful contrary to moments before she fell asleep. Surely it was a dream or her imagination. Or she was going insane due to her intense pain and was agonizing. She was almost scared to open her eyes and realise that her pain was as a matter of fact worse than before. Perhaps she died in her sleep and this place was the afterlife.

When she took a deep breath, she felt the fresh air going through her nostrils and through her lungs. She felt her hair moving in the water softly and touching her shoulders. Elizabeth just noticed a melodic humming, very soft, she could barely hear it through the water sounds. It was somehow comforting.

She took another deep breath before opening her eyes. She firstly noticed blue lights flowing around like small fairies or fireflies. Then the ceiling of what looked like a cave or grotto of some sort as it was covered in rock and ivy.

"Bonjour Elizabeth." A soft voice called from her left side.

The witch turned her head and saw a brown curly haired lady wearing nothing but her own hair covering her nipples. The lady shined and radiated beauty and Elizabeth thought she was simply stunning. She forgot how pretty women can be and still thought all this was a dream and could wake up at any moment.

"Bonjour." Elizabeth replied. She pushed herself up so she could sit and register all the new information from her senses.

"Are you feeling better?" The nude lady asked in french. She kneeled beside her.

“Who are you? How do you know my name? Am I dead?” Elizabeth asked after she came back to reason.

The lady chuckled.

“So many questions. You are not dead. I am the goddess of this spring called la Fontaine de la guérison.¹” She answered. “I brought you here to heal you from your wounds.”

The witch didn't reply right away and looked around the spring she was sitting in. The water itself seemed to transport energy as some lights seemed to be moving inside.

“Why?” While her questions were answered, Elizabeth became more and more confused with the answers.

“Why did I bring you here?” The goddess asked. When the witch nodded, she caressed Elizabeth’s cheek with the back of her hand. The touch felt both soft and hydrating to the witch and gave her more tingles. “I heard your distress and I wanted to help you. No one visits my spring anymore.” The goddess got closer and whispered near Elizabeth’s face. “I was so lonely.”

The witch visibly blushed. On one hand she was so not used to getting touched like that and had been craving any kind of physical touch that wasn’t violence of any kind. On the other hand, as though she wasn’t used to it, it made her uncomfortable and awkward, not sure how to react.

When the goddess saw her reaction, she stepped back and apologised.

“I’m sorry, sweetheart. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”

“It’s hard to be comfortable when you’re naked in front of me.” Elizabeth stated.

“Oh? Am I that hideous?” The goddess asked, offended and a little bit upset.

“No! No! On the contrary...you are gorgeous… very beautiful indeed. I’m ..not used to it.”

“I don’t understand. Used to what?”

“Seeing the most perfect woman I've ever seen naked and touching me.”

“Oh well I don’t wear clothes like humans, but I can hide in the water.” As the goddess said that, she dove into the spring and disappeared completely.

“Is that better?” The voice of the goddess asked.

“Not really.”

The goddess revealed herself from the waterfall and sighed.

“I don’t understand humans.”

“I can keep you company for a while. I doubt the king will find me here so I’m safe and you seem nice. I’ve never met a goddess before.”

“Oh well. I’m only a small one, but I do appreciate your company. You can stay as long as you want.”

“Do you have a name or is the goddess of the spring your only name?”

“Ah.” The goddess laughed. “No one ever asked me my name before. I don’t know if I remember. But I’d like to be called Marianne.”

“Marianne it is. It’s very beautiful.” Elizabeth smiled softly.

Marianne smiled back happily.

"I believe you'd be fully healed by now."

"Yes. I do feel better now. Thanks to you."

"What is next for you after visiting me?"

"I don't know. I simply try to survive." Elizabeth answered. "Do you know any place that doesn't prosecute witches?"

"Well any sacred place like here. Not all the gods or goddesses are nice though. But we like witches. They are the ones who still believe in us. Other humans have lost faith." Marianne's smile turned upside down.

"I'm sorry" was all Elizabeth had found to say.

"I fear one day no one will believe in us and we either will disappear or be lonely until the end of time. I am not sure which is worse." The goddess continued.

As Elizabeth listened to Marianne reveal her feelings, she found herself feeling connected to the goddess in a way. Both had lived a miserable life. The goddess' one was to give but never receive anything in return. Whereas Elizabeth's was to run away and never trust anyone and fight for herself. She wanted to stay here forever. She never thought about it before because she never had anyone that she spent more than one night with, but for once, she felt she had someone she could trust in.

back from my anatomy lab midterm. It was 29 questions and 45 seconds for each picture. I left so many qs empty smh like i would recognize the muscles and then the question would be about their innervations and origin/insertions like agslsjsoskndz. also like i knew all the foremen of the skull but i totally blanked when i came to naming the structures that run through them. i’m such an idiot for not studying more but i’m chill with whatever grade i get tbh i’ll just do good on the final. it was nice to study with friends and yea it was just a good day.

anyways i have physiology lab mid on tuesday so i have to study for that.

First Final of 2nd Year Medschool……

i feel like garbage…. tmrw is my first final of the semester and i’m scared. it’s histology lab so it shouldn’t be too bad and as of right now i’m actually passing the class so again not that worried but i honestly haven’t studied that much. BUT i also have studied a lot of my histology class which the lab is heavily influenced by soooo i should be good PLUS i have studied like well enough i think i’m more stressed cause a lot of my friends are still studying and i’m like…. should i also still be studying ??? buts it’s literally like i studied so i shouldn’t be freaking out …. but i still am.

honestly i hate final seasons cause i always feel like such a trash human cause i rely on human interactions and i totally ghost all my friends and most of my friends live far away since i go to uni abroad so it’s soooo frustrating. like idc how much they say to just focus on my studies and dw like IM ALWAYS WORRYING and like whenever i do go back to texting it’s like no time has passed but I still feel like i need to be texting them 24/7…. which is sooo unhealthy ik but i just hate hate ghosting !!! i always try and be like sorry i’m busy with studying and finals but then sometimes i also just hate opening texts soooo ahdodmshuoaoa anywaayyysss s hopefully tmrw goes well!!!!!

my life is a mess~

finals start in two weeks and i have nothing set i’m a mess and i’m panicking. my life is a mess, my mind is a labyrinth,my desk is a mess and everything is lost. I can’t even find my histology drawing book and the drawings are due tmrw. I have nothing done i’ve studied like two chapters since midterms what tf happened….. i’ve been so consumed with quizzes and hw that i haven’t been able to study. i literally just study for the quiz and go to the next and then forget what i’ve studied…..

i need like 80s in all my finals so i can pass my classes,,,, effff this is so bad…. and i still have two essays and a quiz this week and then next week i have histology and physiology lab finals ahdlnsisldjaodmnfe i need to get my shi* together.

medschool guilt is real… and it sucks :/

so i finished my last midterm yesterday and today is the first day of the weekend and I still woke up at 5am but instead of going straight into studying I just wasted time, chilled, texted friends, watched yt etc. etc. etc. and then family came over and there was this whole party and everything…. I literally got some studying done and reviewed stuff but J feel like such an utter failure. It’s like if I don’t study everyday then suddenly there’s no hope for the other upcoming days?? like if i don’t MAKE this a habit by doing 64 consecutive days then might as well stop now?? and just like it’s so easy to feel so guilty about taking off ONE day after four weeks of midterms… :/// it’s 12am so hopefully these are just late night sad boo hour thoughts and they’ll all go away in the morning. It’s just scary cause I really need to do an AMAZING job on the finals and i’m just scared… i really need to do well and i have two or three quizzes this upcoming week so I really need to study.

anyways sorry for the depressing note but tmrw is going to be great!!! and if not we always have after tmrw :)

JUST FINISHED ALL MY MIDTERMS OF SECOND YEAR AT MEDICAL SCHOOL!!! 🥳🥳🥳 honestly they last test totally sucked (histology lab) especially compared to physio lab which was Godsent but you know you reap what you sow. I studied the slides and totally missed and didnt study the stains like an idiot, i seriously had no idea that half of the freaking test was gonna be on stains, i literally only remembered H&E, sudan orange, and silver stain. like bruuuhhhh ashdoiwosnjdplwjer. anyways it izzz wat it izzz i’m actually a lot more motivated to study now cause like 1) i need like 80-90s in my finals to pass and 2) i got to end on a high note.

I have an upcoming anatomy quiz which covers the Scalp and Face which is all the muscles of the face and their actions and then temporal and infratemporal fossa. The muscles i’ve got dooowwwnn i just need to memorize the origins and insertions but the infratemporal fossa is so confusing for me idk why. And then next week I also have a physiology quiz which covers the parathyroid hormone and I haven’t reviewed that since before midterms soooo it’s been a minute. I also skipped a biochemistry and a histology lecture this week so I have one biochem chapter and then for histology half of the bone chapter, which tbh i’m seriosuly not looking forward to. Honestly what world are we living in that biochemistry is better than histology ??? like whaaattt?? Also my anatomy professor for lower limb is both so behind and also just going sooo damn fast like bruh…. so I have like three chapters to study one of them being nerves of the leg and if you know me you know i HATTEEE nerves and vessels so not looking forward to studying that.

This weekend I’m going to try and study mainly physiology and biochem. and then anatomy and histology. and literally yeet tf out of genetics. i’m seriously not even gonna look at the class until before finals like ew. anyways imma stop here cause i’m literally in physio class i just don’t know wtf this chick is talking abt. we just finished reproductive systems and this is the first lecture for GIT and i’m just lost. it’s also 8pm and a zoom class so yk i’m just in my phone.
