I don't even remember the last time I made an update here. Anyway, this weeks To Do's:

Get up early/stop sleeping in so long

Rate some books on my goodreads

Do some past papers on Math

Finish going over Biology

Drink more water

Another thing is I've been listening to a lot of playlists about June and Day because I just finished the Legend series by Marie Lu and it's my favourite series now (ship too)

My long-term To Do's (deadline is August:

draw some fanart of Hermitcraft members, events in the life smps, and Iparwing (possibly some other fandoms/ships too, but these are the main ones)

Have a good start on learning Japanese

Paint a big paining (I have these big canvases and I think that a cinematic scene from one of the HTTYD would look really well)

The “Legend” series completely changed my life. Before I stumbled upon the then trilogy, I was not much of a bookworm. I have Marie Lu and her writing to thank for transforming me from a nonreader to a reader.

Her books were some of the first that I read that were written from two different perspectives, which my middle school self was blown away by. “Legend” specifically also introduced me to the tropes I now gravitate towards today (mainly enemies-to-lovers) and solidified my love for the dystopian genre.

It is so surreal to think that this favorite series of mine turned TEN this year and is finally making its way to the big screen. I could not think of a better way to celebrate than to purchase Fairyloot’s gorgeous deluxe set. Brand new books for the next ten years of rereading June and Day’s story, swooning over paperclip rings, and ugly crying after stumbling through the final chapter of “Champion.”

From the bottom of my heart…thank you Marie Lu for writing this series that changed my life and for being involved in the adaptation process. Happy ten year anniversary 💛

day finally forgot june when his mom visited him

day's mom heard june's wish and granted them their second chance

I THINK JUNE IS LEANING OVER ME, BUT I HAVE TROUBLE making out the details of her face. When I try too hard, the edges of my vision filter out into blinding white. The pain, at first excruciating, is nothing now. Memories fade in and out... I remember the first time I met June on the streets. Her defiant stance, her fierce eyes. Then, gradually, I have trouble remembering anything.

I always knew, on some level, that I wouldn’t live long. It’s simply not written in my stars.

Something bright hovering behind June’s shoulder catches my attention. I turn my head as much as I can to see it. At first it looks like some glowing orb of light. As I keep staring, though, I realize that it’s my mother.

Mom, I whisper. I stand and take a step toward her. My feet feel so light.

...Past the blurry, golden line of her arm, I can look down at my pale, broken body lying on the ground.There’s a girl crouched over me, her hands on my face, her long dark hair draped over her shoulder. She’s crying.

you know what hurts? at the exact moment when day looked at something behind june, she knew that it was the end, so she desperately prayed in earnest. like imagine my poor baby june experiencing the near loss of someone the second time???? day forgot about june five months before he woke from his coma which was equivalent to june worrying about him for five months if he was gonna wake up only to find out that he doesn't remember him my god my heart bitch
