This is actually hilarious because:
Wasps are not bees. They are both members of the Hymenoptera order, which also includes ants. You wouldn't say that an ant is a bee just because they're both members of the same order, so why would you argue that a wasp is a bee? Would you argue that a camel and a giraffe are the same species because they also share the same order (Artiodactyla)?
Out of the some 20,000 species of wasp, NONE produce honey. There is a genus called "Brachygasta" including 17 species that keep stores of nectar and honeydew in case of food shortages, but none produce honey. And certainly not from meat.
So yet again, you have a TRA blatantly lying in order to turn something into what it's not. "The wasp is right, and the bee relies on untrue myths to explain itself," is such bullshit.
Sadly, this post got something like 2,000 notes. People will blindly believe what a TRA says, especially if it's a lie constructed to undo a radfem point. So many logical fallacies.
Wasps are not bees. Men are not women.

friendly reminder that it's okay and normal for lesbians to like breasts and ass and pussy, to find other women attractive, to look at women, to have sexual thoughts about women. you're not "like a man" for finding this woman on that pic attractive or for having a soft spot for boobs or anything. lesbianism is healthy and natural. stop shaming lesbians for having sexual desires

WolfWren featuring real comments from the fandom. It's okay to have different opinions on fiction, but maybe let's all remember there are actual real life people having to read this shit daily

My cousin had a nightmare that he was standing on a tall building looking over an apocalyptic destroyed cityscape and a gruff narrator guy said, “Ever since the lesbians were eradicated 50 years ago...” and then he woke up.

If a straight woman is harassed because other women think she's a lesbian, she's experiencing lesphobia.
If a straight man is harassed because other men think he's gay, he's experiencing homophobia.
If a cis person is harassed because people think they're trans, they are experiencing transphobia.
None of these people were the "intended" demographic in the sense that they are not actually lesbian, gay, or trans, but they were the intended target in that moment because bigots do not care, and that person was the person they wanted to hurt for even looking queer.
We can all agree that being the "intended demographic" of a hate crime doesn't actually matter and you can still be a victim of a queerphobic hate crime even if you aren't gay, lesbian, trans, etc.
So...
Claiming people can be "transmisogyny exempt" doesn't make any sense when you look at it this way, does it?
And that's why TME/TMA is a pointless and harmful dichotomy.

Why yes it is so hard for straight men when they try to infiltrate lesbian spaces because the lesbians don’t want them there 😢 poor babies, why don’t those mean lesbians ever consider them….I mean for goodness sake aren’t they basically the same as gender non conforming women anyway?

ive seen people make the connection between anti-transfemininity and homophobia & how a lot of homophobia is inherently anti-transfem. & while i disagree with the idea that homophobia is like, anti-transfemininity Lite, its um. interesting to me that the people who will say that gay men are attacked because of their proximity to transfeminity don't say the same about lesbophobia and anti-transmasculinity. because a lot of lesbophobia is inherently anti-transmasc; a lot of lesbophobic violence is done under the assumption that lesbians "want to be men" or "think they are men" (and some do). that's clearly anti-transmasc. it's clearly about punishing perceived transmasculinity, regardless of whether the victim identifies or would have identified as transmasc/a trans man. and yet i've never seen anyone make this connection or point out how so much lesbophobia involves the punishing of perceived transmasculinity. hmmm i wonder why. anyways.

Just some TiMs casually fantasising about humiliating and raping feminists and lesbians.
They say they "don't feel safe," around radfems, while imagining ways to demean and humiliate us.
This is why we want spaces where we can avoid rape and abuse fetishists. This is why we don't want to be exposed to males in environments where we should be protected.
Stay safe out there guys.

deleting this post and putting this addition instead, because i realized that i have said many things wrong in that first post, that it was aggressive when it shouldn't have been (giving the impression that i was attacking goldstar lesbians which is absolutely not my intention - i am a goldstar myself and as my mutuals know i always defend goldstars and this word in itself), and that it just wasn't phrased well at all, which just made it sound like I meant something I didn't mean at all. i repeat ; my post was about lesbians facing abuse, severe homophobia and internalized homophobia, not about women who dated men in the past and now call themselves lesbians for whatever reason.

It breaks my heart every time I hear about a lesbian (regardless of how she identifies) being ostracized for expressing that she won't sleep with males. Especially when she's trying to rationalize it from a trans/queer perspective. It's such bullshit.

People that say “you forgot about trans men/women!” When gay people make jokes about pregnancy are making sexual threats and I’m tired of pretending otherwise. It is homophobic harassment and they know it.

No one is stealing your butches. No one is stealing your girls, no one is stealing your lesbians. Men aren’t invading lesbian spaces. Women aren’t infiltrating gay spaces.
No one is corrupting your girls, no one is feminizing your boys and gender affirming surgery isn’t mutilating your children but I can sure as fuck assure you that the sex/gender binary you’re pushing to uphold does push for the regular non-consensual surgeries performed on intersex children.
Shut. The. Fuck. Up. You don’t give a shit about children or the gay community. Your rhetoric so blatantly upholds white supremacy that it couldn’t be any clearer if you hosted events with open nazis-Oh, wait.

God I am so sick of the way that Human Rights groups and commissions defend transwoman to their dying breath. A group of lesbians in Australia asked The Australian Human Rights Commission for permission to hold events for female born lesbians only (real lesbians). The preliminary decision is to reject their request because it "may lead to the further exclusion of and discrimination against same-sex attracted transgender women. Transgender women are a group who have and continue to experience discrimination, harassment and social exclusion.” which is so laughable. These transwomen who want access to these lesbian spaces are anything but same sex attracted. They are straight men who think that they have the power to claim something that isn't theirs, which clearly they can because society and Human Rights groups don't give a shit about the rights of LGB people or women. They would rather grant delusional straight men privileges to disadvantage lesbians then actually stand up for human rights. Continue to face discrimination huh? I call bullshit because everyone is too busy kissing their ass to discriminate against or exclude them. They of course mean the very fine grip that some women and LGB people are trying to maintain on our safe spaces and our very beings.
I also hate the way that they have manipulated and incorrectly used language to push their agenda. I guess that's the classic postmodernist move though, I say it and therefore it is.
I really hope that on further consideration the Lesbian Action Group succeeds.

James Somerton is a misogynist piece of shit, but the way he speaks about lesbians is an infuriating betrayal of the queer community.
Legally, lesbians were and are treated on the same level of bad as gay men. Gay panic doesn't and has never excluded them, same as convertion therapy, same as anti-sodomy laws, same as police brutality, and many more I could mention.
And socially? Women as a whole are already persecuted, so add homophobia to the mix, and I doubt that'd lead to less discrimination than what gay men suffer from. And that's not even getting into how shittily trans lesbians are treated
But frankly, we all know why he said that. The section where he misgenders Nate Stevenson and Rebecca Sugar and throws them under the bus really says it all: it's because, in his fucked up mind twisted by misogyny, there was more "lesbian representation" in media.
The kind of representation where they're demonized, dehumanized, and erased, where their deaths and hardships are treated shallowly and without a hundredth of the compassion spared for their straight leads, where they're fetishized and objectified for the sole eyes of straight men, sometimes all of the above at the same time.
Fuck this guy.
