No one remembers Anime Spiral

What do kids even do on the internet? I'm genuinely asking. Everything revolves around social media and that's fine but what do they do. Are their cool things they can do anymore?

There used to be websites and you would just wander the internet on the family computer. Newgrounds. Gaia Online. Neopets. Yahoo Games. Quizzila. Live Journal... I'm not saying they were all great but they were something to do and... no i'll commit, they were great. I wasn't worried about posting pictures of myself when i was busy watching a flash animation of Dragonball Z that someone put painstaking hours into.

A lot of younger kids and teens don't know how to download something and save it to a particular folder on their computer because they've never used a computer. Meanwhile we were somehow... coding our Myspace pages to have a particular background. When did we acquire that knowledge?

In 2004/2005 i went looking for Inuyasha pictures, as one did, and i stumbled upon a site of people posting fanfiction? Sign me up... Anime Spiral was the wild west of chaos fanfic writers. People would make banners for their work that would sit in their summary sections. God help you, but those seizure inducing flashing colors were going to get your attention.

People would write anything, stories, poems, lyrics. People would post art and open commissions for people to ask for things in the comments, and the OP would just do it... There were frantic collaborations. Some were really good. Some were really bad.

There were chaotic originally stories with random anime characters thrown in for fun because who was going to tell them they couldn't? Some people just ranted to anime characters and i will always remember Ask Sesshomaru where you'd ask Sesshomaru a question in the comments and the next chapter he would answer every.single.question. The fact that it was probably a 16 year old girl writing that just didn't matter.

Some people just posted picture of anime characters. They did all the internet searches so you didn't have to! They were harder to find then.

The comment/response section to this day... was the best format i've seen on a fanfic site (imo). It was so easy. I miss it! I miss going to my word processing class and pulling up that site and chatting with people in the freaking comments of whatever...terrible story i'd posted at the time. I was probably so proud of it then but yikes...

The notification system was good and it was easy to talk to people without it feeling intrusive.

Maybe Anime Spiral was Tumblr before Tumblr.

I met two strangers on Anime Spiral a week apart. Internet dangers weren't as obvious then as they seem now. Those two strangers became two of my best friends. It's been nearly twenty years and they are still so prevalent in my life.

I met my best friend on that site. That seems so impossible to me now. We never would have met otherwise and i can't imagine my life without them. We were so upset when Anime Spiral went down. We missed the ugly green and mustard yellow template to this day.

It wasn't a great site, it had it's problems... It had a lot of problems but at the same time, it was a great site. It's hard to find people who even remember Anime Spiral anymore. Going to FF .net or Fiction Press afterwards felt like... a downgrade somehow. The systems overly complicated and it lacked...something.

I do enjoy the hell out of AO3, it actually checks all the boxes for a great writing site, but i'll always remember the chaotic nostalgia of Anime Spiral.

What do kids do on the internet now? Is it safe? Is it just selfies, gossip, and bullying? Do you have a little dragon you can take care of? Neopets could take up a lot of their attention. I don't think 2024 Neopets is the same as 2005 Neopets and that's a shame.

I have no idea. I feel old.

Hi! I always find your answers to writing questions enlightening, so I hope you can help me as well. I'm working on my first FFXIV fic, but English isn't my first language and I find staying true to canon characters speech pattern difficult (it's not really the English I'm used to) and I'm completely frightened by when I'll have to write Urianger. Do you have any resources or advice for that? Sorry for the weird question and thank you in advance ❤️

The language in FFXIV, in EN and as far as I know JP, is using a slightly archaic mode of speech that is even difficult for native speakers sometimes. So it's easy to feel confused and intimidated by it! Words like gaol, chirugeon, corse, swiving, and so on are are all real words that have fallen out of common use. The etymology of "gun" in the lore mirrors that of the real world (related to a queen's name). Even the Thieves Cant used by Limsa's Rogues Guild is based in reality (with some substitutions made), and can be looked up. The writers and translators are, funnily enough, language nerds. The names of various things/groups/etc usually actually mean something and aren't just made up entirely.

In universe, the reason EN Urianger talks in a version of Modern English (other translations of Urianger apparently don't go quite so archaic) is due of his childhood tendencies to self-isolate and read older books, adopting those speech patterns cuz he's a quirky nerd. Loiusoix gave that explanation in 1.x, and it's reiterated in Urianger's lorebook entry.

(Modern English starts in the late 14th century and early versions are recognizable if difficult to parse, versus Middle or Old English which are incomprehensible without study.)

Reading (or watching/listening) to Shakespearian English is a good way to get more used to Urianger's speech. Also they really are fun plays and poems; they were written for everyone to enjoy as popular entertainment, and are full of jokes and goofiness, even many of the tragedies. People think they're stuffy highbrow (they're not), and the cultural/social contexts are missing in a lot of cases anymore (the "William Shakespeare" tag on my main blog has more of that).

Writers off the top of my head to subscribe to who ship with the fortune-teller so write him often are @gunbun and @beetlebrownleaf; they've got his speech patterns and mannerisms pretty well down.

Urianger Discuss Thread - beetlebrownleaf and gunbun discussing Urianger-speak and some off-Tumblr resources they use when writing our favorite nerd.

One thing to remember about Modern/Shakespearian/Elizabethan English is "thee/thou/thy/thine" were actually informal, while "you" was formal. Like how some languages now have informal "you" versus formal "you." "Tu" versus "vous" in French, "tú" versus "usted" in Spanish, etc. And then we get into the plurals, and so on.

Which means Ye (subject)/You (object)/Your get used as both Plural and Formal.

Thou is Singular You as the Subject. Thee is Singular You as the Object. Thy is used for words starting with Consonants. Thine is used for words starting with Vowels ("H" counts).

If using "Thine", then that's when you'd use "Mine"; one of the links gives the example of "thine eyes" versus "mine eyes."

Doth = Does In fact, -eth and -th verb endings? It's just -es and -s endings.

Second person changes this up and we end up with "thou dost", "thou willt", "thou shallt".

"Ye" is actually not used for "The." That comes from an old letter no longer used in English, þ ("thorn"), that used to be the "th" sound, and as the letter fell out of use--especially in early printing--the letter "y" was substituted as a close visual equivalent but still pronounced "th". Which is why we have all those RenFaire signs.

There's more, so please check the links (especially gunbun's offsite resources) as of course there are irregular conjugations and exceptions and substitutions and special circumstances...but honestly for fanfic, just having "you" and basic verb conjugation sorted goes a long way to getting the correct "feel" of Urianger's EN speech.

In the end though: don't actually be intimidated by the language in FFXIV when it comes to writing fanfiction. Getting the NPCs to act and think in character regardless of language use is more important if aiming for authenticity. You can do your best with making the language sound close to the game's writing (avoid modern slang you don't see in game, for instance), but it's fanfic. Don't sweat it, ignore the grousing of your word doc's grammar check as needed, and it'll come easier in time with practice.

ok i talk a big game abt writing for myself and ITS TRUE but im also a sensitive baby. and tbh what actually happens most often is that i get IRATE when people leave comments that i feel bridge too far into feedback that i dont want to hear -- and i don't want to hear it bc the damage is already done! like, i published the thing, i wiped my hands of it, i don't want to hear anything bad abt it because i learned what i wanted to learn from it and i want to be happy with it as it stands. DONT TELL ME if you're not happy i dont careeee!!! hahaha. so basically it's a lot of me giving myself that exact lecture & remembering why i shouldnt care abt negative feedback.

in terms of "not doing well" i can usually clock when something wont do the numbers on AO3, and i don't really mind it. my fics with the most hits etc are not the ones im most proud of, but i totally get why theyre the ones w those stats -- theyre simple, accessible, and quick. and you know what ?? im glad ppl are getting on ao3 and just kinda reading & resting. i also read a lot of fics just to escape into something easy. and so if a fic isnt doing well statistically, but im proud of it, im usually pretty good at reminding myself why most people go to ao3, and why the thing that ive written doesnt really align with that.

🕯️how do you think engaging with each other through tumblr, twitter, comments, kudos, creates healthy fandom experiences? How do you deal with that if you're not a social person/experience social anxiety?

well first off i am lucky in that i am not shy at all hahaha. clearly i love talking to people/talking about my wriitng. i think all of this is fun!! im actually really bad at taking compliments, so i dont reply to many ao3 comments unless ppl are opening a conversation somehow. but i love asking questions and answering questions and all the fun sharing we do. i think a lot about writing original fiction, and the main thing that holds me back is that its just SO FUN to share characters. im such an Andrew Minyard Enjoyer, and whenever i write him, i feel like im in conversation with everyone else who loves him and writes him and reads him! and that's such an incredible experience.

this is a cute one omg. my least kudosed fic is a Simon Snow/Shepard Love fic, which makes sense, because the audience for them as a true romantic pairing is VERY small haha. closer to the sun is one of the coolest things ive written tho, tbh. i think i did something fun with the dragon lore with the series, and i also gave Shepard a lot of my own personal experiences/skills as he went dragon hunting. there's also dragon fliritng. and dragon sex! idk man LOL it's really weird for a fanfic, i know this, but i think it's pretty good FICTION? theyre pretty removed from the canon in this, i was just kinda doing my own thing.

The Riddler: So just when he was comfortable in this new relationship and not watching you over his shoulder every dive minutes, he was made aware of a little issue. He doesn't know when you got all chummy with Jonathan Crane but he also doesn't want to know. So you want leave him for Jonathan CRANE? Wait you don't? What do you mean, you want both? Yes, its a thing but why do you need his brain when you already have Edward's supreme brain!? He's the better man! He isn't taking it too well. Hes quite possessive, once you have his heart, you're basically locked in. He isn't the type to share and in a world where he is superior, why would he be okay with sharing you? Although, that being said, atleast it was Jonathan, had you said someone like Harvey Dent, he would have went nuclear.

Scarecrow: He's kinda thinking you need your head examined. Maybe he needs his own, did you just say you wanted to be in a polygamous relationship with him and Edward Nygma? You're thinking of the right Edward right? The narcissistic one? Has a thing for questions marks and green? Oh you are. So who are you trying to torture, Jonathan or himself? Whilst he might be a little more open to the idea with time, he isn't thrilled that it's Edward Nygma. He understands Jonathan isn't exactly an open book- more welded shut- but does that really mean you have to bring Nygma into this? He's too much on quite literally anything. Perhaps you were the happy medium in this dynamic.

Two-Face: That conversation takes a turn because amidst the talk, Two-Face cut in. "Aren't we enough?" You thought he was referring to Harvey and answered easily. However as Two-Face questioned you further, you noticed that Two-Face's wording painted a different picture. That you were already being shared by two people, Harvey and Two-Face. "Wait that's not how that works!" Harvey cut in. "You don't even have a body!" "Of course I do, dumbass! What do you think you're standing in!?" This continued and you thought to yourself perhaps it was better to bring up Oswald some other time. Now you were thoroughly lost and didn't even know how Harvey actually felt about it polygamy.

Black Mask: Absolutely not. The Joker? Okay first of all, sweetness, you come in here asking him to share you but on top of that, you want him to share with the Joker? Are you high? Fully expect him to either check your eyes or flat out dismiss anything you had to say under the pretenses that you are high. There's no way you'd ask this sober. The clown? Pfft. Roman Sionis never shares with anyone and he'll be damned if he starts with the clown.

Penguin: Okay so it'll turn into a big old rivalry between Penguin and Two-Face but if it makes you happy...he will reluctantly accept this. The key to this working out is to maintain the amount of attention you always gave to Oswald. He works a lot as it is, so this should be easy to manage but he might get a little jealous every so often. So keep an eye on him and see how it goes?

Joker: Very accepting of this, didn't need much convincing at all and you aren't entirely sure if that's because he wasn't listening or if it was because he didn't actually care what you did. He cackled at the mention of Roman Sionis but overall had very little to say than cracking a few jokes about Sionis and how the happy family not only has an addition, but also has become a tight squeeze. Maybe just take it and run with it?

vasselheim!!! i doubt it will be a major location again for a full campaign because it was featured so heavily in c1 but an exu type deal could be so cool!!! i thought that vasselheim was SO underutilized in c1. when i was first watching it i was Big Sad that the no arcane magic thing was played for laughs, you could easily center a whole campaign around that idea. i wanted to see more of it during c1 and obvs after exu calamity i want to see more of it Even More. theres just so much to learn about it after the context of exu calamity. like i want inside information about the political system. i want to explore how decisions get made there. and like bro do u want a story about Hubris??? oh yeah??? you like critical role so are you perhaps a Hubris Enjoyer??? perhaps of the Magic User Variety?? imagine a wizard or a warlock trying to hide their magic in vasselheim. it basically writes itself. imagine a high-ranking cleric as a pc. or a noble. based on what's happening in c3 do you think they have like. an Old Secrets Protection Board? and perhaps some Scholar Spies trying to break in? idk man there's so much you can do there and i would like to See It Please Thank You

artificer. primarily bc as much as i love him, matt’s pcs tend not to be my kind of character. at least in cr oneshots he’s got a thing for the Generic Edgy Protagonist Boy type which i’m sorry buddy but like. no thanks. and based on artificer/engineer type npcs he’s played i doubt he will go for that archetype as a pc. matt loves some Insane Scientists and so do i, easy S tier character trope, so whether he plays it straight or goes for the more unhinged type like most of his npcs im down 100%. also i had a whole rant here abt how much i love dariax and i hope that matt continues to step out of his comfort zone for pcs because for me personally i think it works really well!!

I HAD A WHOLE RANT HERE ABT HOW MUCH I LOVE MARION LIKE I THINK I WROTE LIKE 300 WORDS. the gist of it was how i love that she is very much an imperfect parent which we can see in jester now, but she’s still a good parent!! she’s still trying!!! she’s got her own trauma but she’s trying!!! idk that is v important to me. also i love how she is a sex worker and is not shamed for it at all. and that she has agoraphobia (sp?) and its treated as like!!! fine and not irrational at all!!! idk man idk how matt and laura did such a good job with such a respectful and grounded portrayal of a character like marion but they DID also parent trap ftw

I recently read your Something (just like this) fic and oh my god IT'S SO GOOD!! I love how you wrote Deku, Sero and Mineta. He feels like his pervert self, but more mature and fleshed out?! I even thought about his dumbass 'offer' for a second LIKE WHAT, HE KINDA CHARISMATIC...'ok Deku boy I'm switching sides' . You made him so tolerable I even looked forward to reading more of him in the latest chapter, and I audibly shrieked for real, worrying about MINETAS safety at one point like- … You made me look forward to read about this grape-of-a-man…. Your writing skills got me flabbergasted fr.

If you could answer, do you have any future projects you're thinking of writing in mind? Like any characters you'd like to write about as well? The way you structure your sentances is top tier and so easy to understand and follow for someone who's first language isn't english, like mee lmao. Also happy to see an author who take their time on writing and updating as they self seem fit!!! So many authors get burnt out and tired of writing because they ‘must’ update regularly.

Lost without you || 🥀 💙 Bucky and Steve are throwing a dinner party to celebrate their buying a house together, and they asked for your help. The lead-up to the party doesn't go exactly according to plan, but the 2 super soldiers are more grateful than ever for your help.

Here we go again || 🥀 💙 Steve has finally returned after a three-week mission, and they are enjoying a lovely day at home together. They enjoy every second of grocery shopping, dinner, and watching TV. This all changes when Bucky goes to take a shower, and Steve needs to save him from one of the worst things he's ever experienced.

Majestic distraction || 💙 Steve and Bucky need to study for an important upcoming test, but Alpine doesn't care; she only wants the attention she deserves (or demands...). Her Majesty, the Queen of Fur, doesn't take no for an answer and becomes Steve and Bucky's best distraction.

Popping the question || 🥀 💙 🔥 Steve plans to propose to Bucky, but the closer he gets to popping the question, the more nervous he gets. When the time finally arrives, Steve finds out he has nothing to be worried about because it has been Bucky's dream to marry Steve for as long as he can remember, and he can't wait until that day arrives.

Spice, spice, baby || 💙 It is the first day of the fall season, which is officially Steve's favorite time of the year. From the leaves changing color to getting to wear warm, cozy sweaters, and from the rainy days inside to strolling through New York with Bucky after said rain, he will never get enough of this time of the year.

Perfectly imperfect || 🥀 💙 🔥 Bucky has been through a lot, and adjusting to his new arm wasn't as easy as he may have thought at first. Steve is by his side through every last high and low, showing him just how perfect he is and always will be to him. Like he said in his wedding vows: they will be together until the end of the line.

The beginning of the end...? || 🥀 💙 🔥 Steve and Bucky plan on proposing, but as they're doing this, they don't realize the two of them are giving you the feeling you're not worthy of them. As soon as they find out, their behavior completely changes, and before you know it, you have two super soldiers down on their knees, asking you to marry them.

Child's Play || 🥀 💙 🔥 || ON HIATUS

Not really I mean I'm wasn't much into reading fanfictions before I joined Tumblr, I used to read smut on ao3 when i felt like 😂 but I was obsessed with Loki and I hardly ever found soft baby loki that I imagined in my head, I only started writing because of loki and he literally fed scenarios in my head that I felt I had to write, I used to have a rp partner during the darkest period of my life and I always wondered that if I wrote would anyone ever read it? Now I know.

6. How do you find new fic to read? Where do you primarily read fanfiction?

Now I read on Tumblr, fics by my awesome Mutuals, ao3 is the other site but I don't often go there until I have to post myself.

10. What’s your favorite fandom, pairing, or character to read fic for?

Haha 😂 then you'd get no answer for that because I literally don't read other fanfictions, I love MCU but I'm not obsessed with any other characters the way I am with loki. I mean not obsessed enough to read fics about them.

Digimon Partners 🌐

Dear Tumblr,

If you watched the Digimon Con 2022 livestream a few weeks ago, you might remember a Digimon themed website getting mentioned a few times during it called Digimon Partners. There was some exclusive Digimon Con merchandise for sale on the website's store, but it sold out pretty quickly, leading to me and likely many others not giving it much thought. They didn't do a great job at explaining what the website was or why people should visit it beyond the store it has, but this video by Based DIGIMON piqued my interest in it and led to me creating an account there. While he has some criticisms regarding the site that I agree with, I think it's worth checking out if you're a Digimon fan.

Digimon Partners is an official forum for Digimon fans across the world to connect together through. It was created in the hopes of bringing all Digimon fans together in one place, making the process of delivering news and selling merchandise to fans easier. It was originally intended only for Digimon fans in Japan, but the website can now be displayed in English, making it possible for English speaking fans to join the community. The Community page of the website features five tabs, each with their own content to browse. Home is pretty self explanatory, but I'll briefly go over My Page, the DP Shop, and the other four tabs to give you an idea of what to expect while browsing Digimon Partners.

The first thing you'll want to do when checking out Digimon Partners is to make an account. It's pretty easy to do, but you'll want to make note of the Digimon Shindan quiz. It's a short personality quiz with four questions. After you finish the quiz, your account will be created. You'll be assigned a partner Digimon based on your answers, but you can change this partner Digimon at any time by retaking the quiz later. With your account created, you'll be given a Membership card, located under the My Page tab. It's basically your profile that other users will see. You can edit your bio, profile picture and retake the Shindan quiz here. To the left of My Page you'll find the DP Shop. This is an official online Digimon shop for fans to buy the latest merchandise, similar to the Pokémon Center online store for Pokémon fans. I'm not sure how purchasing items here would work for westerners like myself, as I believe everything for sale is sold in yen. With the shop currently down for maintenance though, there isn't any way of knowing for now. I might do another post regarding the shop in the future if I buy anything from it, but the bulk of Digimon Partners at the moment is the Community page, which I'll go over now.

The first tab in the Community section of Digimon Partners is DigiTalk, the conversational side of Digimon Partners. Here, users can write their own posts and attach images to them for others to see, and other users can leave comments and hearts on them. Users can also leave tags on their posts and can search for posts via tags listed at the top of the page, which I really like. It helps narrow the content exclusively to what you'd like to see. There's also a search bar if you're looking for a post with a specific word or phrase. DigiTalk has a bit of a public forum vibe to it, similar to news feeds on other social media platforms. Occassionally, there will be official posts from the Digimon Partners staff account, such as this one below. It asks users which partner Digimon they have. These are used to spur conversations between users and to help keep DigiTalk active. I find myself scrolling through DigiTalk every once in a while just to see what the Digimon community is saying.

DigiTsushin is next, and this part of the website is the main draw for most Digimon fans. Official news regarding new merchandise, promotions, and events is posted here by the Digimon Partners staff account. Similar to DigiTalk, posts here are catagorized by tags, and you can narrow which news posts you'd like to see by the dropdown menu at the top of the page. Just like DigiTalk posts, you can leave comments and hearts on these as well. It's very convenient having all the latest Digimon news in a single place, but you can get this news elsewhere on places like Twitter and YouTube. It's similar to DigiTalk in that regard, as it doesn't do much to stand out from other social media websites on the internet. That being said though, I still check it daily.

The DigiGallery tab is filled to the brim with fantastic community created artwork! It's a place for Digimon fans to share their Digimon artwork with the rest of the community. Just like other posts on the website, comments and hearts can be left/given to the artist. I really like the idea of having a dedicated page for Digimon fan art, and I think more franchises should do something similar for their fans. DigiTalk doesn't offer much you couldn't already get from a Digimon Discord/Facebook group, but DigiGallery is a lot more unique, even if other places to host digital art like DeviantArt exist. I find myself checking it daily along with DigiTsushin. Here are a few of the submissions I saw on DigiGallery that I really like from an artist known as Smacky! #1 #2

The last Community tab is another neat idea, called Partners' Projects. Here, you can vote on polls to decide what new Digimon products in a particular line will be made! For example, a new product line known as Digidigi Otedama (Digimon beanbag plushes) was announced here recently. Fans casting votes on a poll determined what Digimon would be included in the product line! The most recent poll, "Main characters that have not yet been made" got a lot of attention. After the votes were counted, the top four Digimon in the poll were shown in a new post. They will be part of the Digidigi Otedama line on the DP Shop soon! I really like the interactivity with fans that Partners' Projects offers. Being able to weigh in on the future of Digimon's merchandise is a really cool level of fan interaction I haven't seen anywhere else.

Overall, Digimon Partners is a pretty cool website for Digimon fans, but it lacks enough uniqueness from other social media platforms to make using it regularly enticing. The site's coverage at Digimon Con really didn't help matters either. There is more here on offer than what was shown there, and I'm glad I saw Based DIGIMON's video about it. That being said, I agree with a lot of the things stated in his video. I think there are some great ideas here, like the DigiGallery and Partners' Projects that increase fan interaction with the franchise more than I've seen elsewhere. However, Twitter pages and YouTube channels repost the news from DigiTsushin, and DigiTalk offers very little that platforms like Facebook and Discord don't offer already with their social features. Most of my reasons for logging into Digimon Partners daily are because I don't use most of these other platforms, so it's my one of my only places to get Digimon news from or to talk with fellow fans.

There's a need for the website to be more enticing to people who love Digimon and can also get the information/experiences it currently provides elsewhere. Based DIGIMON had some good ideas for solving this issue, such as having Digimon Partners do raffles, giveaways, have early access to content or offer a monthly gift box subscription service like LootCrate to help incentivize users to return to the site more frequently. In its current form, the site is still worth logging onto and browsing if you're a big fan of Digimon. For now, it's a nice place to hang out with other fans and discuss things, share art and vote on new merch. However, I think it has a lot of potential that isn't being tapped into at the moment. I hope that will change in the future.

I hope you liked this week's post! With Ghost Game still in limbo, it's hard to say when my normal style of posts will return. I'll continue making weekly posts as usual though, so stay tuned for next weekend's post! I've thought about writing something unrelated to Digimon for a change. I'm new to Digimon personally, so I don't have a lot to write about regarding Digimon outside of Ghost Game yet. I'm currently watching Digimon Adventure while Ghost Game is "ghosting" us all, and I've been really enjoying it so far! I don't feel comfortable writing about it until I've watched it all though. I'll give my thoughts on Digimon Adventure in a future post when I finish watching the final episode. Other than that, if you'd like to follow me on Digimon Partners, feel free! Pairings:- Professor! Bucky Barnes, Professor!Steve Rogers, Professor!Ransom Drysdale x Named Female Character (open to the reader’s imagination).

Total Word Count: 1,214

Standing before him twirling your hair around a slender finger, you waited for the final dregs of your classmates to leave while Professor Barnes sat silently before you flicking through the latest batch of assignments. Letting out a little squeak as the heavy door finally closed behind you, you continued to stand and stare in silence as his imposing figure rose from the desk and his icy stare settled on you.

Watching you squirm as a smirk played across his lips, he finally broke the silence as he ordered you to follow him through the other available door that you knew led to his office. Ushering you inside as he quietly locked the door behind him, he directed you to sit before dropping his ass onto the desk before you. Watching as you smoothed out the end of your summer dress, he gave you a few minutes to compose yourself before speaking. "Alright young lady, hand it over." he said, extending his hand as his eyes locked on your innocent face.

"Sir?" you questioned, once again wondering what you had done to land yourself here.

"Don't 'Sir' me, Sabrina. Not yet anyway." he uttered. "The phone. NOW." he continued, flexing his fingers impatiently.

Reaching into your bag, you removed the item and handed it over before realizing he must have figured out what you had been doing during his lecture. Watching as he powered it up, your voice shook slightly as he asked you for the passcode. Calling it out as heat radiated throughout your body and an ache began between your thighs, your eyes focused on the floor as he walked behind you while scrolling through your recent activity. Coming to a stop behind you and bringing the phone into your field of vision, an audible gulp left your throat as your recent Tumblr post appeared before your eyes.

Scrolling through your little concept as his warm breath ghosted over your now fevered skin, his next words told you just how much trouble you were in. "So princess, this is what's more interesting than listening to me trying to expand your mind, huh?" he questioned and you found yourself unable to answer as the phone disappeared and he came to stand before you once more. "Tell me, my not-so-innocent girl, how would you deal with this situation if you were in my shoes?"

"Start with a more fashionable pair of shoes probably." you muttered but swiftly regretted your remark when his hand shot out and stretched your chin up as high it would go.

"Don't get smart with me right now or we'll put that mouth to better use." he barked as his thumb came up to caress your lower lip before pushing hard against your mouth and pressing down on your tongue. Moaning as he began rubbing circles into it, you wondered how you were supposed to follow his next command as his lips rested against your ear and his words echoed through your brain. "Answer me, pet. What would you do?"

Taking in some much needed air as he released your chin and sat back on his desk, you failed to notice the growing ridge in his jeans as you thought properly about your answer. "Probably just give them a verbal warning, Sir," you answered meekly before continuing, "maybe even some lines, I guess?" you questioned innocently, knowing that you were more or less picking out your own punishment.

"Lines?" he scoffed, seriously questioning if you thought that appropriate or if you hoped he would go easy on you. "And let's say I gave you lines, who's to say you'd actually write them or I wouldn't find you once again letting your hormones rule your better judgement?" he asked as he waved your phone in front of your face before placing it on the desk. "No, I think I can find a much more appropriate lesson for you princess." he smirked as his hand reached forward to rest along your thigh.

Whimpering slightly as his fingers squeezed while his hand moved ever closer to the area that was aching for his touch, your eyes widened in utter horror when the previously locked door opened and in walked Professors Rogers and Drysdale.

"Ah gentlemen, perfect timing. I was just about to teach our girl a lesson in listening." he greeted before kissing you quickly and then sitting back up to face his colleagues. "Drysdale lock the door will you. Here Rogers, take a look at this." he said, staring at you as Ransom did as he was told and Steve took the offered phone. "As you can see by the date on those posts this has been going on all semester. In your classes too I suspect." he continued as Ransom helped himself to a drink while Steve looked between you and your phone.

"Oh angel, is this true?" Professor Rogers asked as he handed your phone to Professor Drysdale so he too could get a look at the sexual fantasies your young mind had conjured up while Steve focused his blue eyes on your apprehensive face.

"Ha look, there's one here about me." Ransom suddenly boomed out and as Bucky and Steve ran a hand over their faces, you sat quietly in the chair between all three of your handsome professors and wished the earth would swallow you whole since you knew there was no way to refute the evidence now stacked against you. That was not to be however when Ransom tossed your phone to Professor Barnes and moved to stand behind you.

Leaning down to run his lips along your neck, you left out a whimper as his arrogant voice reached your ear. "Is that really how you see me, little dove?" he asked, but you failed to answer as him biting your earlobe sent you jumping from the chair straight into Professor Barnes' waiting arms.

Laughing out loud and taking the chair you had just vacated as Bucky ran his hand along your back, Steve took charge of the situation and addressed the man holding you to his chest. "So Barnes, you're the one who discovered this infraction and called us. How do you want to handle this?"

Raising your chin and kissing your forehead, a smirk played across his lips as a wicked idea formed in his mind. "How about we start with her newest creation and see where we go from there." he suggested, looking between you and the other participants in your future humiliation.

Nodding his head in agreement as he began to remove his clothes, Ransom meanwhile rose from the chair to follow suit, but not before giving his own edict. "Sounds good to me Barnes, but from now on little dove it's front and center in class for you," he informed you before searching out your panties and ripping them from you, "and you won't be needing these in future either," he continued, tossing the offending item over his shoulder as both the other men agreed.

Gulping then as Bucky held your arms while Steve peeled you out of your dress, you wondered how you had landed yourself in this situation and more importantly how you were supposed to survive it as three sets of hungry eyes now feasted on your ethereal form.

First thing first, We all know he'd be a great dad. Protective already, But make him a yandere platonic father? Oh boy, Trust me, You'd be spoiled and treated like royalty.

Now, I'm gonna say in this scenario you were on of his victims child. I'll say you'll be around 5 to eight.

Somehow you managed to catch his eye, Is it because your parent was just as bad as his? You reminded him of his mother? Or maybe you resemble him, and have three moles on your ear. Or, perhaps, A younger joestar? Either way, You somehow had him feeling like a father, and, according to one of my friends, Araki had said DIO would treat his children like they were royalty, And they would be so spoiled.

So, Mudad would end up taking you in, kidnapping, whichever honestly. He'd be holding you like a loving pet owner would, if you got scared, he'd probably be confused. Honestly he'd have you turned into a vampire quickly, as he knew he wouldn't be able to have children as a Vampire.

Truthfully, I think you'd end up never noticing how he'd occasionally pull you closer, or how he'd glare at anyone your age or older going near you. Or how he'd give you some strict rules, Like no dating anyone. E v e r. And why would you ever want to hurt your papa like that?! You wouldn't want to do that, right?! Of course you wouldn't! Dio knew you'd never betray him like that!!

Truth be told, he'd guilt you if you tried to go against his words. But punishments? No no, He'd never actually purposefully hurt you, Unlike his love interest, he'd NEVER want to cause you pain ever. He'd hate himself and wouldn't forgive himself for years. Centuries. Infact, he'd beg for your forgiveness.

The Pillarmen

First of all, You aren't a pillarchild. You'd most likely be some kind of god, vampire, or a young hamon learner. Or even related to the Joestars or Ceasar.

So, Let's say you're immortal who can walk in the sun. We all know you'd be the joestar side, Right? So, That means you'd end up hating or feeling pity for the pillarmen. First, You'd probably end up trying to make Santana hally when he awakens. Unlike with Joseph, He'd probably know not to attempt to attack you. Let's say you have symbols like Dio Over heaven, We all know how that would work.

You'd end up as a being worshipped by them, probably kidnapped after they destroy the Joestars.

Let's say they defeated Joseph and the others, and you were still a deity, You'd most likely be weaker then them in this scenario. They'd probably treat you like a kitten at first, like a baby before they all felt a connection. As if you were a child of their own, so they'd give you rules. And we all know how rules go with yanderes.

Let's say uh- you fell for a mortal.

Well, You didn't expect to become a vampire and treated like royalty when all you've been treated like is uh... Considering Lisalisa is your coach, I'd say you'd be happy if it was someone else doing this for you.

Josephs sibling? WOAH Joseph, When did you get a cute sibling? Pfft, Not your sibling anymore, They just adopted your ex sibling nerd.

But, All jokes aside, They'd probably be surprised that you were more mature then your brother, and...you sorta resemble a certain Coach... Oh, Humans all look the same, haha.

They'd probably kidnap you infront of Joseph just to make him feel guilt and rage, After all, Why not get their prized treasure and make Joseph angry? They'd give you more rules, until Joseph was gone, of course.

And, sadly, Not even you crying would stop them from making you into a vampire infront of your big brother, breaking both of your hearts.

Ceasars sibling? Mini pancake? Haha, They'd kidnap you as soon as they felt parent like tendencies. No denying them, infact, they'd make sure you saw ceasar get defeated by the ro ck. But don't worry! You have new parents and a brother-! Haha, Poor you.

Part 3 DIO AKA mudad!

Honest to god you'd probably have to be a stand user with a weak or strong stand, or, you were one of his kids he had with a lucky woman who survived and got a naked polaroid of him as a 'wow you lived! Congrats, now go have my kid lmao' gift. Or, Maybe you were a normal kid who was kind to him, even if he,,,,  did some questionable murder infront of you. And maybe you were a young

Now, Let's say you were a strong stand user. He'd end up wanting to use a flesh bud until he realized... He never had a kid, that he knows of, and decided to raise you! At first he'd be upset you had a strong stand like your mudad, but realized you could protect yourself from those dreadful joestars! Congrats, You became a Brando! :) How unlucky, Considering this DIO would probably force vampire masks onto you, or even using fleshbuds as a threat. Either way, You'll always be papas baby!

Like I said in my first post of this, He'd want to have a nice average life. You having a stand wouldn't be a problem, Since he'd probably convince you Josuke and the others are awful and rude.

Josukes sibling? Well, He'd end up telling you he can help your brother with his murder issue if you come with him. You don't exactly have a choice since Killer queen would easily overpower you if you had disagreed. You'd end up being a normal and peaceful child before long, Infact, He'd have to pretend he had adopted you behind his 'wifes' back.

Hayotos friend he never talks about? Congrats, You are now stuck with a crazy and loving father! And a mother, I suppose. And you get your best friend as a brother! You'd never be able to leave, how sad. But, You'd have your new mom and your dad to talk to-! And killer queen cuddle time.

Now, Let's say you were his own kid. Wowzers! You think its normal for your father to bring women hands home, after all, You are pretty young and your father told you most adults do this. Ah. How enjoyable.

No one, really nobody knows what books/stories I read because that’s something very private to me.

I listen to music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Also, it’s hard for me / I don’t like to talk about the music I listen to because this is very intimate for me for some reason.

When I watch a series, it’s at least 2 times behind each other, sometimes more often. But never just once.

Films that I watch for the first time and that excite me, I watch every second that I have time. When the movie is over, I start again unless there are several parts. But then I always watch my favorite one 500 times.

But there are so many beautiful places to which I want to go. For example, I would love to travel to Tenerife. I know someone who lives there and every time I see pictures I get very jealous. xD

Okay: As some might know, I’m a big fan of The Joker by DC.🃏Well, in 2019, the Joker movie with Joaquin Phoenix came to the cinemas and I was at the cinema premiere with my best friend. And the movie was absolutely amazing. I really wanted to watch the movie again..Aaaaand I was lucky because my best friend’s boyfriend also wanted to see the movie in the cinema so I went back to the cinema 5 days later to watch the movie again. I was so excited and so extremely happy that I trembled and could not stand still. xD And for these two reasons, I accidentally dropped my not really old phone. It just fell straight down on the stones in front of the cinema and the display was completely broken..Well, what can I say? I needed a new one.. 😂😅But the movie was still fantastic!😍🤭This is actually one of the stupidest things that ever happened to me. xD

Hey Ho! In fact, I haven’t experienced any paranormal things. Which is probably also because I don’t believe in that and I’ve found a rational cause for everything so far. (Important: I don’t believe in it, but I don’t say it doesn’t exist, I don’t want anyone to feel attacked)

And a nightmare I’ll never forget? In fact, I can’t think of any one. There’s a dream I’ve have since I was a kid: It’s about two little wolves trying to eat me. xD And I can even tell where that came from.

The movie to blame for this is: Twilight xD

Yep… When I first watched this movie, I was way too young, and as a child I was always very anxious. Just such things and horror movies in general were terrible for me (today it is actually no longer so) (Even the dream is no longer bad today and yet it has a bitter aftertaste of childhood.)

In any case, I was much too young and that did not let me go back then. xD But a really unsettling dream I had was: Well.. Do you know the Pink Panther? 😂

I once dreamed that the Panther “chased” me through an endless long corridor. It was an endless corridor in pink with countless doors. He sang the theme song and threw clocks at me…😅 And that went on all night until I woke up.

(This, by the way, had a trigger too. A German song (the rapper only took the melody of the title music and wrote his own lyrics. The text isn’t really cool though and that’s the reason)

Yeah, well, I danced for 13 years, in different groups, also several groups at the same time. :D It was the hip hop/breakdance direction. But at some point I stopped because I didn’t enjoy it in the groups anymore and time was getting tighter. :/ Unfortunately, there was and is no real other groups here, which is why I stopped completely and now only dance for myself and just for fun.🤭

Hey, what's the best book to get into Discworld? I started reading the colour of magic ages ago but found it a bit too random and dropped it. But I hear so much good about the series I might give it a try again.

Nice!! It's an honor you asked me :D I only just started read myself but I'll try my best!

(I also tried reading a couple years back but stopped because it was just confusing. Thankfully it seems like if you like one book it's easy to find others in the series that you'll also like, so it's worth the effort of trying to find an entry into the canon of discworld.)

I'm not surprised the color of magic was confusing too which means the next book you pick will probably be less confusing. The thing to know about discworld is the series started as satire geared at someone who has read an unreasonable amount of fantasy novels. Without knowing that going into it, the content can be a bit jarring. The other thing is that he writes in a very interpretation driven way, where the reader has to put in a lot of thinking to get the plot out of it. Just glancing over the fandom page of Going Postal can show how many times people have to say "it is implied" and other variations because things are rarely laid out so simply. Whenever it gets confusing, don't be afraid to read the fandom page to understand what is going on. Knowing all that, and if you want to give the color of magic a shot again, you'd want to know that the color of magic books are a story of Rincewind who hates all the conventions of magic and doesn't want to save the world but does anyway. He's a chosen hero that grumbles about saving people, which is a common archetype on tumblr people like. I watched the movies first and they were pretty easy to follow, and much easier after having read at least two books already. So even if you want to read color of magic it might be better to step back a bit with going postal (which also has a tv show, that can help you understand the writing style better by watching it in conjunction with reading it).

I started with the Tiffany Aching (The Wee Free Men and then Hat Full of Sky), and I definitely recommend them. Then I read Night Watch because I was interested in Sam Vimes, but I really should have started out with Guards! Guards! which was published a bit earlier and I was worried I wouldn't like it as much because of its age. The next book I'm going to read is Wyrd Sisters which is another book you can start with if you've heard of Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg.

I'm saying all this because I think a lot of people start/continue in places different than what they'd prefer having had read more books later which is why "where do I even start?" is a common question. If you google "discworld reading order" you'll see what I mean. Whatever you decide, even if it's not the ideal reading order, pick one that looks fun! Maybe the post office bores you, so you skip to making money. Maybe you don't care about The Wee Free Men so you skip to hat full of sky to see more about witches. Whatever you pick, I think discworld is interesting in that each book wasn't necessarily published "in order" even though it's "in order" in a characters timeline, giving you a lot of freedom to read a standalone book without a lot of context and still enjoy yourself. So the real answer is "whatever you want."

Having said all that though, I have some recommendations:

The Hogfather movie, actually. I watched this movie before I read any books and understood them. It's roughly the season for it and it's a sweet movie that's a very gentle step in the direction of understanding discworld.

Wee Free Men if you like YA/children's fantasy/narratively strong female characters. It's a well written, strong standalone book, and it was one of his later works and it's a regular "journey to save the day with magic" type of story. I like it because it's full of lots of adventure, there's a lot of high stakes moments, but it's also very funny. She hits a monster with a frying pan!

Guards! Guards! is a good starter book if you like the stuff about Sam Vimes. This is, I'm pretty sure, his origin story. He's a grumpy man who fights for justice and is- surprisingly- a police officer. Police officers actually do good eventually so even if the beginning is rough I'd say stick with it. Night Watch is a later book and one of my favorites so far because of how much he loves his wife. I don't know a thing about her except she likes dragons, but even with her off screen he talks about her internally a lot.

Going Postal if you like criminals and con men. Moist von Lipwig reforms the postal office, that's the basic ploy, but there's also golems, a battle with the clacks, the undercovering of plots, lots of near death experiences, and other shenanigans.

And Wyrd Sisters if you want Weatherwax. I recommend this but haven't read it because I bought it and I'm going to read it tonight probably. It's about witches.

3. i used to live in an area where there were corner stores, and back in the day, snacks were like 25cents a pop but that’s another story for another time. i used to eat a lot of Little Debbies snacks so I would eat like those oatmeal creme pies, the cosmo brownies and the zebra cakes !!!

4. steve rogers but,, you knew that. class A hottie amirite i honestly feel like i’d have to go back and rewatch all those movies a second time (the last time i did that was before infinity war) but i honestly did really like infinity war & end game? i think watching all those movies throughout all those years and then seeing those two movies it just .... hit different. like i think if you didn’t watch any marvel movies and just watched those two, it wouldn’t feel the same way it hit us??? 7. i think i wouldn’t make a good superhero tbh LOL i’m like an anti-hero or something LMFAO but if i were to have a superpower, probably super strength. no reason. just wanna throw stuff around.

8. i’m really big on honesty and respect. if my feet stinks, please tell me. but also there’s just something about respect from both friends and a significant other that i prioritize!! some things about a person’s personality can’t be forced to change, and that’s fine, but if they can’t be at least honest or respectful towards me, which btw is the bare minimum, consider yourself cut off.

9. !!! i’m only watching kitchen nightmares rn !! LMFAO but honestly i get so mad when people waste gordon’s time or act like he’s here for himself when they’re the ones who asked to be on the show??/ like hello did you forget you wrote into the show so you could be helped??? hello???? also i can’t help but wonder like how much time did he spend away from family bc of shows like these only to have ungrateful bitches out here smfh

10. LOL STEM !! i love stem even though i hate it. i think something to keep in mind is that there’s an end goal to this. throughout the ride, you’re gonna feel discouraged and feel like this isn’t for anything. but remember why you did it in the first place. and is it worth it? because that’s how i felt often but i remember taking those trips to job-site tours to see construction in progress, and i’m like yeah. this is why. i like this. i wanna work in this in the future. and i think it’s easy to forget what you’re working for during the obstacles because your head is only wrapped around that and whatever is in the moment, but just remember to step back, breathe and try to remember what you’re in this for !! 

and even if you’re not 100% solid in what you like, don’t forget to try out different things even if they’re not pertaining to your major. you’re young, you have time to figure things out, and when you discover you don’t like something, great! that scratches off one thing on your list. now you’re one step closer to finding something you like.

They had meant to go the arcade for their date tonight. In fact, they'd even walked in and started scoping out games to play, but alas it wasn't to be.

Within moments of arriving, who else but Damian would single Mari out and immediately tell them to leave.

And of course she protested. In response, Damian only pointed at Jon over at the pacman machine (how dare he, that's the game Marinette was searching for!) and mentioned his lack of ability to keep secrets and suddenly she turned and dragged Tim right back out the door.

Walking down the sidewalk, he side eyed her, considering the best way to start his interrogation.

"So. You trying to keep me secret then?"

"No! Of course not. Just might've forgotten to mention something like… over a month ago."

"And it involves not letting Jon know we were there?"

"Only because he's a nark who would've ruined the fun. And heaven knows Damian and I wouldn't be satisfied with a void bet."

"You made a bet about our relationship with Damian?"

"About your family," she partially corrected.

"Do I even want to know."

"Was supposed to tell you a bit ago so you wouldn't ruin the stakes, so probably not, but im telling you anyways."

Sighing with false exasperation, he gestured for her to continue.

"We have an ongoing bet over how long it'll take everyone to figure out that you and I are together and not Dami and me."

With that, she relayed all the details of their bet and his part in it, manic grin spread across her face as her gait gained a small skip to it. Tim couldn't help but shake his head at her antics, amused despite an itch in the back of his mind saying this wouldn't end well.

"Alright, I'll play along. Honestly, I think you'll both lose. Your predictions are too specific. Too many potential outlying factors."

"True, but we did give set time frames. So at least one part of the bet will absolutely be clear on who won. Plus, I find victory in the fact that Damian didn't think of that possibility. That we'd both be wrong."

"On another note, we need to find a plan b. Anything in mind?" He asked, reaching out and snagging her hand to draw her closer. 

Shrugging, she looked about them, seeing if anything caught the eye. Suddenly Tim stopped, accidentally yanking her back when she kept walking. She let out a sound of protest only to see his eyes locked on the building across the way with a considering look. 

The building was gray brick with no windows, however a neon purple sign to the right of the black wood door declared it "The Underground", a well known club amongst Gotham dancers and while neither were necessarily that, word had gotten around enough for both to have heard of the place before from word of mouth.

"How do you feel about checking it out?" Tim asked, a curious look about his eyes, studying her.

"I'm not opposed to the idea. Little surprised you're interested though," she commented, letting him lead the way inside.

A quick ID check and they were in, the room dark with neon tube lights flashing across different surfaces and strategic spotlights placed to bring attention to the various raised platforms. It was strange actually. The wall directly to the left of the hall they entered from held the bar on a raised level only to slide into a ground level dance floor which was normal enough, however in the opposite corner was a raised platform where different people would hop up to take advantage of the spacing to show off both freestyle and blatantly choreographed moves. Another few spotlight platforms raised up randomly in the floor, but the main focus was a rather large circular one in the center of the place, raised just enough to make it easy to see from anywhere in the place, but not so high as to block the view across the way. These places were the most lit up, allowing the anonymity to the dancers below while allotting the attention to those who choose to step up. Beyond that, there were many crevices and alcoves holding tables into the walls and a small hallway across the way presumably heading to the bathrooms. An upper balcony held only the DJ.

While Mari took in her surroundings, she felt Tim lead her out into the crowds, before turning back to her with a questioning look. Leaning in she spoke into his ear, a spark gleaning her eyes, "You've been before, haven't you?"

"A few times. It's the perfect place to destress without the nonsense of keeping an image. As long as you stay in the crowd, no one cares who you are," he replied, spinning her around before stepping in so her back pressed to his chest.  His hands ghosted down her sides to grasp her hips, starting to guide her into the beat.

For a while, they stayed like that, separating slightly and coming back together to follow different dances as the music flowed and changed around them. Turns out Tim was a surprisingly good dancer. 

Cheers broke out as a new song turned over, the first beats of Bum Bum Tam Tam coming over the speakers drawing attention towards the main platform as a pair jumped up, starting to get into the beat, working around each other only to burst into perfectly synced choreography at the first breakdown, resulting in more cheers. The two dancers would break away after that into a more freestyle, only to flow back into more rehearsed moves once more.

"Wait is that," she trailed off to a groan pressed to her shoulder.

"Yeah. That's them. Didn't know they came here."

As the song came to an end and the two on the platform jumped down, they could only stare as none other than Dick and Kori unknowingly made their way towards them. Tim pulled back from Mari subconsciously, not quite comfortable being so fully on display in front of people who actually knew them. Which made exactly zero sense when considering how much they cuddled in the manor. 

Finally the two spotted them, their grins widening and a new energy emerging as they rushed over. 

"Timothy! Starshine! You guys are here!" Came Kori's exuberant greeting, grabbing them both up in a hug.

"Hey, Mar, Damian not like dancing enough? Had to drag Timmy out?" Dick teased.

"Dami's at the arcade with Jon. And actually, coming here was Tim's idea," she answered amicably, conforming to the rules of the bet and not correcting Dick's obvious assumptions. "That was amazing by the way. You two looked great up there!"

Tim smirked down at her, seeing through her antics, especially now that she'd let him in on the rules of her game. Doesn't mean he couldn't play into it himself, he thought as he wrapped an arm around her waist and placed his chin atop her head.

"She's a great dance partner," Tim mentioned after both Kori and Dick had thanked and waved off Mari's compliments. "Considering learning something more structured with her, myself. Maybe give you two a run for your money."

"You definitely should! I can help with figuring out a style for you two if you'd like!" Kori offered immediately as Marinette turned to look at him in excitement.

"She has to agree first. Who knows, maybe this was a fluke and Mari will never dance with me again," he sighed in defeat.

Marinette turned, practically bouncing in anticipation, "Are you kidding? I'd love to! I want to come here again too."

"Even if you don't take my help with the dancing, I can record you two so you can look back and see for any needed improvements? That's what Richard and I do," Kori further offered up, Dick jumping back in right after.

"Oh yeah, it helps immensely. Especially if you were wanting to perform it on the platforms here."

Tim and Mari met eyes, before coming to an agreement, "Yeah, we'd appreciate that actually."

"Great! We'll set up some time here soon. In the meantime, I could definitely use a drink," Dick stated, looking back towards where he'd originally been headed. Kori grabbed onto Marinette instead, leading her back into the fray of dancers.

"We should invite Stephanie next. She would make a most interesting dance partner," Kori rattled on, suggesting a girls night that Mari agreed to immediately before getting back into the music with her new dance partner of the moment, Tim and Dick rejoining them shortly after. 

The night continued on this way, the four trading off between them, two not aware that it'd become a double date by this point. Eventually parting ways from the two, Tim and Mari made their way back towards his apartment, breathless and happy despite the unexpected interruptions to their night.

"How come we never end up at your place?" He asked suddenly.

"Because my apartment has become workzone number 2. Seriously, the place has essentially become a studio for my work that just so happens to have a kitchen and bedroom. Among other secrets not meant to be divulged… yet."

"Is that pertaining to the mystery of your magic."

"Perhaps."

"Mmm, whenever you're ready, I'll be happy to keep them for you. Though I can't imagine anything bigger than holding two technical gods in your pockets at all times."

"Shhh, don't let them hear you say that!"

He only chuckled, leading her into the complex and up to his penthouse. Silence overtaking them until the door had clicked shut.

"You staying the night, sweetheart?" Tim asked, toeing off his shoes and walking towards his room to get changed.

"Mm, think I might," she replied, following him in and stealing a shirt before wandering into the bathroom to get first dibs on a shower. She still found it lucky that while he might be the shortest of his brothers, she was still small enough to be buried in his clothes. Made it easier for night like these.

Finishing up, she plopped herself on his bad as he went to shower as well. 

Eventually, the door reopened, Tim entering in only pajama bottoms, hair still damp and in his face. She hummed her appreciation, enjoying the view and reaching out to tug him closer.

"Is it weird how comfortable we've become in so little time?" 

"Only if you're uncomfortable with it."

"I'm not."

"Good."

With the affirmation, he picked her up only to lay her out further up the bed. Stretching out at her side, he pressed kisses to her cheek and down her neck, hand trailing against exposed skin, clearly enjoying having her in his home, in his bed, in his shirt.

'Hmm, what were two raging insomniacs to do with the rest of their night?'

Bonus:

Not a week later, after a long discussion with Damian to ensure that Kori was not included in the bet and swearing the alien to secrecy, they asked her to film something for them. A dance they had come with that was just for them. Not anything that could be performed in a club or for anyone to see. Maybe one day they'd post it somewhere or show Dick, but for now, it was theirs alone.
