Chishiya nodded, taking the appel you had brought back.
"We need to leave this place, I dont trust it will support itself much longer"
"Chishiya, Hatter knows what he is doing" You said taking a seat besides him.
"Does he? Do I need to remind you we had to specially ask that he would let the three of us go together? He is giving this people fake hope, and thats dangerous"
His words were true, part of you did not want to believe it. The beach was a safe heaven at first, having a bed to come after the games, food...but it was too good to be true. The place has its dark side and you knew they could use your son to get Chishiya.
"I know, but we need to be carefull. You need to tell me your plan"

"Thank you Kuina" you responded smiling then looking at how Chishiya was nodding as your kid told him about this animal and its name. It was the most sincere smile he has ever made.
"I will go now, if you two want some...alone time let me know, I love taking care of him" Kuina said giving you a wink then leaving.
"Dad, will we go back to the Real world?" Sasaki asked making Chishiya freez.
"I dont know Son, but what I do know its that your mom and you are the most important things to me and nothing Will change it"

crying ugh i love these characters so much and i hate the world so much except i dont and i just wish i could have what these characters had and be in a place that isnt like this one
im gonna cry ugh i dont know why i care so much, theyre not even real. but, like, in my head, they are, yknow? as in, they exist in the space i built for rhem as i read the series and learned about them and their world
fun fact, they were the first two characters whose books (each is the continuation of the story from a different third-person-limited perspective) had their names in the title. black hardcover w green embellishments for moonwatcher, a nightwing. white hardcover w blue for winter, an icewing. books six and seven, respectively. all the symbolism was there before you even open the goddamn books. yin and yang. AND YET.
and also they had two different histories and their tribes had a stale feud for thousands of years bc of some asshole jerkface. moon knew nothing about it bc she was raised in the rainforest practically by herself bc her mom had to sneak away from the shitty volcanic island the nightwings lived on to hide from the historic nightmare jerkface. winter knew all about it (or he THOUGHT he did bc he only knew the icewing side) bc he grew up surrounded by heirarchy and laws and rules and structure. moon didn’t grow up with the resentment at all, which allowed her a chance to see the truth.
she had to be self-sufficient. he had structure to lean on, even if it made him narrow-minded and nearly hard-hearted. he had to break through that, and she learned how to have patience. i feel like moon herself is sorely underdeveloped but i take the hints i can get and i feel that she learned how to forgive him by understanding who he was through his thoughts and, after skyfire, remembering that he was different inside than out and was still struggling.
when they were together, he was trying to be better and learn and he was kinder and softer even though he struggled to always be like that, and she was so patient with him.
heartbroken enraged screaming ensues, really.
like the rey and ben situation at the end of tros.
having him die in the end undermines everything the skywalker legacy stood for and all the development he had and it still breaks my heart bc he proved people can make bad, horrible choices and can survive abuse and break through it and change and be better and be loved. and then he DIED instead of getting his happy ending, which practically is what happened to winter bc the author basically said fuck you go live in the mountains doing work for peace and studying scavengers (which i know is his passion, but….) and your friends will hardly visit or write and they wont tell you the truth about how they defeated the bad guy WITHOUT ANY OF YOUR HELP EVEN THOUGH YOURE MORE THAN CAPABLE and they wont trust you and youll be alone forever.
my list of pairings and characters that i’m unreasonably heartbroken over:
ben and rey, winter and moon, catra and adora, draco and harry, zuko and katara.
catradora got together, ik, but their story still breaks my heart no matter how much hope it also gives me.
anyway, there’s no way for me to end this bc i dont even know what im feeling. it’s been years but winterwatcher’s fate still tears me up inside with the way it dashed my dreams of seeing a character like winter learn to let himself be loved.
i want to learn to let myself be loved, but i dont know how.
these characters are my attempts at finding myself out in the world and seeing if it’s possible. i dont attach my self-worth to them, but it hurts to see them fail to find romantic love where i saw it. idk

Akaza: "Oh come on. At least we all manage to take part in it."
Doma: "Exactly! You were enjoying yourself out there."
Muzan: "Did not!- Whatever. It is a good thing that all of you are here... Well.. Minus the Hantengu brothers but.. Who needs them."
Kokushibo: "Thats not nice."
Muzan: ".... You were never nice to me Kokushibo."
Kaigaku: "Hey! You leave master out of this!"
Akaza: "Lets just get to the point. Muzan."
Muzan: "Ah yes.. I think now is the time for us to confront this Y/N person, and ask her why she thought it was funny to use a small boy as her spy..."
Akaza: "Oh.... Were doing that.. Well."
Muzan: "Dont tell me your declining this offer!"
Akaza: "I cant okay!! I have to take Koyuki to the doctors.. Her fever is getting worse.."
Gyutaro: "Well, if your taking your fiancé to the doctors.. Whats gonna happen to the child.. It isn't safe for the boy to be all home alone."
Doma: "I love that movie-"
Muzan: "Shut up Doma."
Doma: "ITS THE TRUTH. YOU SHOULD WATCH IT, ITS A GOOD MOVIE OKAY!!!!"
Nakime: "But no, Gyutaro is right.. Sonny wouldn't be able to fend for himself incase any other demons would discover him in your dojo, Akaza."
Akaza: "Drats.. Your right... God dammit, what do I do?!?!"
Kaigaku: "Maybe he can tag along with us-"
Kokushibo: "No. Its to dangerous for the child.. We must lend him to someone for them to look after him while were gone... Muzan, you did say that upper moon 4 wont be joining with us today.. Didn't you?"
Muzan: "That is correct..... Wait... Kokushibo your a fucking genius!"
Kokushibo: "Wow, first time that you appreciate me."
Muzan: "I always appreciate you."
Kokushibo: "Since when?"
Muzan: "Since now... Forget it.. Give me the child, you fuckers wait here.. And Akaza, you can piss off to the doctors."
Akaza: "Thanks, I guess?"
Doma: "Just dont do anything bad Muzan."
Muzan: "I wont. I was never that heartless."
Daki: "Not even the Kamado family?"
Muzan: "..... We dont talk about them."
[The man set off, Akaza followed him so he can collect his wife who was bed bound and frail to the core. Sonny replaced each towel with fresh water. Dapping it on her forehead to balance out the temperature. The sliding door opens to his surprise. Causing the young lad to scurry away into the corner.]
Akaza: "Glad to see you nursing my fiancé little one. I Admired that gratefully."
Muzan: "Yeah yeah. Move it along basketball head. Sonny, come with me this instant"
Sonny: "???"
Akaza: "Thats not how you say it Muzan.. This is how.. Sonny. Muzan is gonna take you to the Hantengu brothers. They will look after you for the day until we return. I promise you that they wont conflict any harm or Assault you.."
Sonny: *Nod*
Akaza: "See Muzan. Thats how you convince a child without forcing them. I would praise you for that but due to what bullshit you have afflicted on us.. I wouldn't say that anyone would applaud you for it."
Muzan: "Oh shut up. Just take your stupid germ spreading wife away from me!!!"
Akaza: *Sarcasm* "As you wish.. My lord and savior, Michael-"

[Sonny wasn't to fond with the demon lord. Not only is because of his temper and compulsive behavior.. But he sure didn't forget the threatening words he said to him with such snarly tone. Muzan refused to look at Sonny when the child was face up and eye contact to him. He scoffed.. Why was he in charge of taking this cretin to the infinity castle... Why cant the other bozo's do it themselves.. After all.. Its was his solution and honor to do it.. So it could be a 50% that it was his fault... Nonetheless, Muzan dragged the vulnerable corpse to one of the sections of the castle. He let go of his arm, banging on the door impatiently.]
Muzan: "SEKIDO! AIZETSU! KARAKU! UROGI! ZOHAKUTEN! OPEN THIS FUCKING DOOR NOW OR I WILL EXECUTE YOUR ASS WITH MY 2X4!!!!"
Zohakuten: "Uahhh!! lord Muzan, I'm coming. I'm coming, jeez fricking Christ!!"
[Out of all emotions. Zohakuten was the only one who worships and serves as Muzan main upper moon 4. He bowed down to the lord which he responded with a grin. Zohakuten smiled. Finally praised and refined from his harshly lashing out personality. Muzan shoved the boy to the Demon. Demanding him and his brothers to keep an eye on him, His crimson eyes glowed when he said that. Stunning Zohakuten.]
Muzan: "Don't let anyone know about his existence.. Its a secret for us demons to keep.. Not share with any other stranger in this Barbarous world.."
Zohakuten: "Don't worry my lord.. We will do as granted of your commands!!!"
Muzan: "Thank you Zoha... Take care kiddo."
Sonny: "...."
Sonny couldn't get to say goodbye. By the time the lord was finally gone.. Zohakuten took one look at the child, Now alone. He lead him inside where one large zone was only for upper moon 4. The settings was off a modern style apartment.. Sonny wasn't like any other children who run around and knock over things.. He was different.. Mainly if doing so his body would hurt badly by the bandages rubbing on his wounds.]
Zohakuten: "Brothers. Come over here, we got a guest thats gonna be staying here with us!"
[No one heard that.]
Zohakuten: "Brothers! Get over here right now!!"
[No one heard that as well.]
Zohakuten: "Do they even have ears... GUYS!!! A FUCKING HASHIRA IS HERE!!!"
Sekido: "A hashira, where?!?!"
Urogi: "OH boy!!!! I ca-... You lied!! There is no Sword slaying murderers!"
Aizetsu: "Was this a false alarm or-"
Karaku: "Awwhh man. I was really dying to play with one of them.. A demon to be precise!"
Zohakuten: "No! I only called you guys here because!-"
Sekido: "Because of what?- Oh you got to be kidding me..."
[The hantengu brothers and Sonny stared at each other.. Not one of them made a sound. Not one of them moved.. Sonny was shaken up a bit by this sudden ordeal.]

I love to think about a one shot i read about Childhood friends to lovers but with Capitano i forgot the end so i kinda changed hehe.
So basically at 8yo you heard about a boy who is scary even considered a monster. He wouldnt go often to school and dont have any friend , he would get bothered for that. One day you wanted to see that monstruous kid. You then find him under a tree and find him with animals. You took your courage and go "Hey ! You ! Yes you! The boy with animals! " the boy just continued to stare at you thinking youre like the others kids who want to bother him "Im Y/N! And today we're friends!" The boy completly in shock just continued staring at you while you went sit next to him.
By this day yall become literral bsf even tho its you who did the most of talking but he became more opened with you by the time. At 14yo he announced to you hes going to the Fatui "W-what ?? The Fatui? Are you crazy ?! We are all devoted to the Tsaritsa but no way youre going there! What if y-" "I wont. I would never. I need to come back to you. So wait for me alright?" "Fine. You better tell the truth or i will kick your ass is that understood ?" "Yes."
By the next day he went to the Fatui, you sent decent letters and never had a reply you thought of 2 possibilities, first the letters never sent the second he ignored you. You were heartbroken why would he ignore you? Didnt he said he needs to come back for you? All those negatives thought took you even your mom started to worry more and more. Comforting you that the first love is always difficult. But you know its not just a first love..Hes the man of your life!
Years passed you are now a 23yo handsome/pretty young woman/man you would always read on the news how a new Harbinger came "Capitano" good name for him with that one mask he showed you before going. Youre the only one knowing his handsome face.
One night as you were in your room you heard your mom calling you "Y/N come!!!" "Ugh what ? Just tell me already !" " I SAID COME" as you went to see why your mom is calling you for nothing you were welcomed by the greatest gift.
"Ugh what mo-"
"Y/n."
"C-capitano?.. what are you doing here! I mean Lord Harbinger !"
"Ooh thats right i need to do some grocery until tomorrow have fun kids!" Said your mom while leaving

So by now a good chunk of people have watched @quinton-reviews Video series (or as he calls it :'Mini series' lol) discussing Fred, iCarly, Victorious and now Sam and Cat.
One thing that just wouldnt let go of me (and I also made a comment on that) was a moment in iCarly he talked about in which Sam and Freddy as a couple have to deal with Freddies mum trying to seperate them. It all goes so far that Freddie finds out that Sam manipulated his application to a summer camp so he would be rejected.
I wont go into much more detail but lets say that Sams reason is not fully... Understandable here.
Now mind you I have only wwtched quintons review and never seen that particular episode myself, but their "fight" really bothered me because it seemed like a completely botched moment where they could've inserted a real character moment.
So. Here is my 5 minute first draft of "how it couldve gone" in scipt form
DISCLAIMER: I do not have a proper grasp on these characters so its likey that this is very out of character. But then again, the writers didn't do them that well either so-
[Scene: Sam and Freddy are upatairs in the iCarly studio, having an argument after Freddie found out that Sam is responsible for him not being accepted to the summer camp. They are alone in the room]
F: I want to know WHY sam!
S: because-- i was mad at you
F: for what?
S: remember when I asked you for the time and--
F: that can't be the reason.
S: it is!
F: Sam, tell me the truth right now or I am leaving!
S: no wait! Wait, please don't go-
F: ...
[Freddy is taken aback by her sudden display of panick and it knocks him out of his own anger. He becomes soft]
F: Sam. Please tell me why you did that. I want to understand.
S: because--- i don't want you to go.
F: but WHY
S: because I need you.
F: need me how?
S: I dont know! It's... Easier with you. Everything is. Like it is with Carly but different. You make things better.
[She sits down defeated and lets her head hang. Freddy hesitates then sits down next to her]
F: Like Carly?
S: yeah but differently. She makes things less awful and problems less.... Bad. She gives me a place I can call home. And you're giving me something like that.
F: being with me grounds you
S: yeah that.
F: ...
S: Please don't leave me.
[ Sam tears up and her voice breaks. Freddy pulls her close so she can lean onto him]
F: I'm still mad. I get now why you did that, but that doesnt mean that I will just forgive you and forget this. I really wanted to get into that summercamp.
S: I know.
F: It's not just a camp I really want to go to. I'd get some space from my mum.
[Sam sits up and faces Freddy with realisation.]
F: I could've had a summer without her constantly being around me. Not that she wouldn't try to still visit and call all the time. But that's not an option anymore.
S: I--- I didn't know.
F: yeah. why didn't you talk to me?
S: because! ... I didn't want you to see me as clingy. we weren't dating and I didn't want you to know what you mean to me.
F: but if we cant talk to each other then maybe we don't even have a friendship we can rely on!
[It grows quiet and freedy stands up. Sam tries to reach for him to sit back down but he manages to escape her.]
F: I'll go get Carly for you.
S: Freddy.
F: You seem to have no trouble talking to her.
S: Freddy!
[Carly comes in and stops in her tracks looking from freddy to sam and back]
F: I'll be going.
C: Freddy-
F: I'll text you. Take care of Sam.
[Freddy leaves without being stopped and Sam tears up again before anger gets to her and she starts to become violent in frustration.]
C: Sam! stop it!
[Carly manages to wrangle Sam away from her destruction and hugs her while Sam breaks into sobs and clings to Carly.
Black]

And then we get a full second episode of sam and freddie being awkward with each other and trying to mend their relationship.

Ruby infiltrating Salem's inner circle, maybe getting closer to Cinder as time goes on for Reasons™ Fallen Petals AU?
(Ruby defection arc?)
It all started as an easy mission. Salem hadn’t known about Ruby or her silver eyes, just a mysterious huntress that seemed to get in her way. But now, as she sat at the table with Salem and her followers, everything seemed to have become more complicated. She was still no closer to finding out Salem’s true goals, only able to delay the attacks on the academies for the relics by sharing her own information about the maidens.
“Red,” Cinder said as she nudged her. “Are you going to answer her?”
Ruby paused for a moment as she realized everyone was looking at her. “I… I’m sorry but I didnt catch the question.”
Salem frowned and stood up, eyes locked onto Ruby. “Then I’ll ask you one more time: how do you know so much about the maidens?”
Ruby froze for a moment as she tried to think of an answer, one that wouldnt get her killed. She very well couldnt tell Salem the truth, but if she lied. Her voice cracked as she tried to answer, her eyes looking down at the floor as a glyph started to open up under her. “I-I uh…”
“She’s been intercepting reports to Ozpin.”
Ruby went quiet and looked over at Cinder for a brief moment. “I… have a contact that works with Ozpin and have been getting his reports that way. Its how I knew where the fall maiden was so Cinder could obtain those powers. And how we know the whereabouts of two other maidens.”
Salem slowly sat down. “I see. And how do we know that you havent been giving information in exchange?”
“You dont. However, Ozpin hasnt made any further moves to stop you. Qrow was still late to stop Cinder from killing the fall maiden, everything is still going according to plan in Vale with Roman, and Atlas is starting to become more and more divided between Atlas and Mantle. I… I can also get Cinder to the Beacon Vault to take the relic without alerting Ozpin. Take it right out from under him and move onto the next one.”
“If you’re certain that you can do that, then you and Cinder will go collect the crown. Once you have it, we’ll move to our next target as soon as Leonardo gives us the whereabouts of the spring maiden.”
Ruby sighed and nodded. “Yes, my goddess.”
“You and Cinder will make your way to Vale to obtain the relic-”
“But we cant yet!” Ruby hesitated when she realized she had stood up and slowly sat down. “I-I need to make sure everything is correct and-”
“And you’ll do as you’re told.”
Ruby froze as she was pulled to the ground by a few arms that came out of a glyph and started to pull her down. “I… I’ll take Cinder to the vault…”
Salem smiled. “And there wont be any problems.”
Ruby picked herself up as the arms let go of her and started to disappear. Her body shook as she took a deep breath and nodded. “I’ll make sure we dont have any trouble.”
“Then see to it that you come back with the relic.”
Ruby nodded and stood up to get herself ready, shaking with each step she took to her room. Her mind started to wander as she tried to think of a way to spin this to Ozpin, though she kept coming up short. Sure, she could tell him immediately, though if anything happened, Salem would be the first to find out and it wouldnt be long before she was on the chopping block. But if she didnt, then she’d have to make everything convincing for Cinder if they were caught. And the last thing she wanted was to fight her friends while she was supposed to be learning Salem’s plans.
She practically jumped as she felt a hand on her shoulder and instinctively reached for her scythe, pausing when she saw Cinder next to her. “Oh, Cinder. I… I didnt see you there.”
“Alright Red, what has you on edge?” Cinder asked. “You’re not acting like yourself today.”
“Its… nothing.” Ruby slowly lowered her arm and continued walking. “We’ll get to Beacon, get the relic-”
“And probably have to fight a few people you know, right?”
Ruby stopped in her tracks and put up a fake smile, hand twitching as she started to look for a way out. “What makes you think I know anyone there?”
“Because I’ve seen your scroll.” Cinder sighed. “I wont let anyone know, but that does mean you’ll have to make a choice soon. Either continue to help us, or help whoever it is you’re really working with.”
Ruby looked away from Cinder and dropped the smile she wore. “And if I dont make that choice?”
“Then someone will have to make it for you. And trust me, if it ends up being someone else, they can spin it however they want.”
Ruby faced Cinder again and watched her curiously. She wasnt sure when she started following Cinder or when she found her hand on the woman’s shoulder. “What do you mean? You’ve been through this?”
“Everyone here has.” Cinder opened the door to her room and motioned for Ruby to join her inside. “For me, it was my mentor. I… didnt exactly have a great childhood. Abandoned as a baby and sent to an orphanage, adopted by a woman who only wanted to use me as a slave and shocked me any time I messed up. Then… I met Rhodes. I stole his weapons to use to free myself, but he caught me and started to train me as a huntress. But, as time went on, I… I couldnt take it anymore.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Dont be. I killed my adopted family and Rhodes condemned me. He made my choice for me before I even had a chance. Hazel is here because Ozpin let his sister die. She was sent on a training mission that went wrong long before she could graduate Beacon. Hazel went to Ozpin for answers but was ignored and sent away before meeting Salem. Watts… well… he’s just an ass. I’m sure you’ve figured that out by now.”
Ruby nodded and sat down on Cinder’s bed. “And Mercury and Emerald?”
“Mercury was abused by his father and Emerald was in a similar position as me. So, I took them in and offered them a spot. But Salem, she ended up with the worst of it.”
“What happened?”
“She was cursed by the gods for daring to want her lover back.” Cinder scoffed. “Not like it really mattered to them. They cursed her and left her to wander in her own grief. Its why she wants to change the world. Undo the shackles of this world so no one has to know loss. So no one has to go through what she did.”
Ruby looked down at the ground and sighed. “Sounds like its been rough for all of you.”
“It has.” Cinder moved her hand to Ruby’s and smiled a bit. “And, if you end up staying with us, you can help us make a lasting change.”
“I… I dont know…”
“You have time to think things over.”
Ruby blushed a bit as she felt Cinder kiss her cheek. On instinct, she looked away to hide her blush, hand shaking slightly. “What was that for?”
“For helping me get these powers. Now, go get some rest. We have a long day ahead of us.”
Ruby nodded and slowly got up to make her way to her room, mind racing as she walked. Her heart was torn about fighting her team or staying with Cinder, wanting to make sure things could change no matter where she went. Once she made it to her room, she turned her scroll off and laid down to rest.

heyy what are your thoughts on Mike's monologue? Do you think he was being honest or it was a half truth or something? I'm really curious abt what you think bc honestly I'm not sure myself
this might be long i havent dove into this scene in a while.
the short answer is i think it was a mix of some sad truths disguised as romance, things he believes she wants to hear (but is completely wrong), and just straight up lies. but the biggest thing is that what he thought she wanted to hear was what will told him in the van, unaware that those were wills feelings not els.
but before i even talk about it lets just LOOK at the scene. this is what every other romantic scene in the show has looked like:
and this was allegedly mike and el’s “most romantic scene”.
they are not happy here. this was right before mike said he loves her and right after. one of the biggest differences in this scene compared to the other ships is the fact that both of them we’re forced into this conversation. mike was NOT going to say any of this. will had to push him to continue. meanwhile el is physically restrained from responding to him. she was forced to listen to him and mike felt like he was forced to say it.
anyways now im gonna analyze the actual content of the monologue:
sad truths disguised as romance:
“i dont know how to live without you”
i think this is true and it could be a romantic line but it could also be really sad. it reminds me of when finn (or millie i dont remember) said that they were like a married couple with no option of divorce. i think what mike really meant by this is that hes scared to confront who he really is without el. he actually already did confront this version of himself after she and will moved. i think when he was without either of them he realized his true feelings and hated it and he just wants to go back to who he was before he figured it out.
“i feel like my life started that day i found you in the woods”
im not as confident in this one but it could honestly be extremely sad when looked at from a different lens. it was the first night after will went missing. it was the first time things in his life got weird and unexplainable. losing will and finding el is what led to all the supernatural trauma theyve been through. i dont think mike associates el with trauma but that night in the woods did change all of their lives forever and nothing has been normal since that night. when mike told will asking him to be his friend was the best thing hes ever done, thats said in a way that could not be interpreted any other way, especially not in any negative way. this can. (that being said im not negating how much mike genuinely does care about her and im not saying he wishes he never found her or anything like that).
then it gets so complicated because the only way mike knew how to reach her was through everything will said to him in the van, not knowing that everything will said was referring to HIS feelings, not els.
what mike thinks she wants to hear (based on what will said):
mike tells el “im afraid that one day you wont need me anymore” directly referring to when will told him that she (he) will always need him and then we see this shot.
a lot of people interpret this clip as will just being sad that mike loves her but i think here he might actually be realizing that mikes using his own feelings unknowingly to reach her and he feels guilty about it.
will also told mike that “you make her feel like shes not a mistake at all, like shes better for being different and that gives her the courage to fight on” which actually is not the case for el AT ALL. that was the entire reason for their fight in volume one. el told him “i am different i do not belong” and that he thinks shes a monster and thats why she doesnt love him. she doesnt wanna be loved for being different. but will made mike think she does. these are els reactions to when he brings up her powers:
“youre my superhero”
“you can move mountains, you can fly”
during the whole monologue shes crying but both times he brings up her powers she stops and just looks mad. she looks like she just realized something and shes not happy about it.
i think will completely unintentionally made mlvn so much worse with his veiled confession in the van.
just straight up lies:
“and i knew right then and there that i loved you” (referring to the very first moment he saw her in the woods.)
this is the biggest lie of the whole monologue and i dont always like to bring in social media and marketing to my analyses but when i watched this for the first time, the SECOND he said this i immediately thought of this tweet:
we also have proof in the show itself that he didnt feel this way. he brings her home because he just found a lost girl in the woods in the pouring rain. and then he and lucas and dustin immediately come up with a plan on how to get her back to wherever she came from so that the next day they can go back outside and find will.
“i love you on your bad days”
immediately debunked. mikes a fucking BITCH on her bad days. even will thinks so.
“i love you for exactly who you are”
he doesnt even talk about who she is??? at the beginning of the season we had that whole scene of nancy and jonathan talking about all the reasons they love each other and what does mike love about el? that shes a superhero?
and THEN after the monologue is over its not even mike who gives her the courage to fight on! ITS MAX!!! el doesnt have the power to move the vines until she sees max in trouble. and then later when shes reviving her and theres flashbacks of their moments together, specifically when she says “theres more to life than stupid boys” and “not hopper, not mike, you.” thats huge.
continuing with post-monologue volume 2, its so beyond weird that we dont see el speak a WORD to him after this enter speech. not even just after that speech, after she almost died.
if mlvn was meant to be why didnt they have a moment like this after she woke up? we dont even see her wake up. we dont even see them for two days!!!!
anyways that was a lot. i hope it all made sense. i think the purpose of the whole monologue was to show that even after mike says what she wanted to hear, shes still not happy with him. shes realized that that she is her own person and her own superhero. the duffers just made it excruciatingly complicated and i hope they do a good job explaining this scene in s5.

Hc the includes vampire Jotaro au and Grandpa wham au. (Also playing off that previous ask someone sent that wham and Jotaro are very close)
(So i want to say ive talked about this concoeg a bit before but honestly i don’t remember)
But idea is the pillar men are like natural predators to vampire and so vampires are just like instinctively afraid of pillar men.
So SDC happens and by the end of it Jotaro gets turned into a vampire and after the ordeal is first sorted through and things are a bit calmed down Jotaro goes to his grandfather Wham for comfort and only find himself afraid. He has never in is life been scared of wham. Logically he knows wham would never hurt him, he knows he loves him and would do anything to protect him.
And yet he want to run, to hide to get as far away from this man as possible. He tries to hide these feelings but it’s obvious that something is wrong. Jotaro is tense and skittish in a way he has never been before. Extremely guarded. He wont relax. He wont even touch wham and (whether subconsciously or not) is staying at least arms distance away at all times.
At first wham thinks its due to everything he has been through but Jotaro doesnt act like that around anyone else and as time passes its not getting better if anything its getting worse. Jotaro find reasons to see wham less in less.
Eventually the truth comes out and wham is devistated to have one of his loved ones so scared of him but things do get better. It takes time but Jotaro trusts him despite what his instincts tell him and eventually things become normal again he is able to relax and be calm around wham, but deep down that nagging fear still lingers.
(Also bonus for dhampir gio, when gio is introduced to the family he is wants nothing to do with wham, being only half vampire the feeling isnt as strong but still he ends up subconscious hiding behind bruno(he came for emotionally support) when they were in the same room)
I think joylne wouldnt get the same feeling because she grew up with wham so the instinctual fear never really developed. Kinda how animals raise in captivity dont fear humans.

oh Jotaro is going to feel AWFUL about this. Not only has his humanity been stolen but he's now also terrified of one of the few people he trusted with comfort. He wants Wammu to hug him and hold him and tell him everything will be okay but the mere thought of being in the same room as him, let along touching him, is enough to terrify him nearly as badly as the thought of hurting anyone
however...... at the same time this terror is going to serve as a weird comfort. That there's one person he'll be unable to hurt, one person who would be able to stop him incase he became uncontrollable. It absolutly shatters Wammu heart one day when he hears Jotaro ask him to kill him because just...... Wammu has seen Jotaro grow up. Has seen him as a small helpless infant, has seen him smile and laugh and cry and yell, has seen him be turned into a monster of his father's making, and despite that has seen him hold strong to his humanity and refuse to let go
While Wammu does agree to Jotaro's request, he swears to himself that he would do everything in his power to prevent it from happening
eventually Jotaro learns to suppress his instincts. Just like the hunger, he locks it away in a little box and shoves it into the deepest, darkest corner of his mind. And just like the hunger it never fully goes away, lingering as a constant remind of what he is, but it becomes easier to ignore. The first time he's able to touch Wammu, even though it was just for a fleeting moment, he almost cries. When he's able to hug him again, he does
And I had a fun idea for Part 5: what if Jotaro ends up being the one to stay with Bucciarati this time. After all, he has no idea Jolyne exists and wouldn't have many things stopping him from staying. He's already doing his schooling at home, cares for Bucciarati like a sibling, and he knows his Grandpa Wammu has a limited amount of time with his other grandparents left. Besides..... he wants more out of his life than staying in the dark of his mom's house. His mental health is doing better, and he's reached a point where as much as Dio's ruined his life, he still wants to live it. Italy would be able to give him a change of scenery
I also checked the timeline and for once I don't have to shuffle things around/flat out ignore them. Paolo was attacked the same year Jolyne was born, meaning there is MORE than a big enough window for Jotaro and Marina to conceive her and him later moving to Italy
Bucciarati doesn't know all the details. Just that 3 years ago Holly got really sick, and when she got better Jotaro got sick with something else that made him kinda like Uncle Wammu and he stopped calling for a few months. It's definitely an adjustment with Jotaro being the one to watch him, but they make things work and are happy
and also what if he just...... never fully explains to the Bucci Gang what he is. He just becomes Bucciarati's Weird Sorta Freaky Brother/Guardian Who We're Pretty Sure Is A Stand User But Also We Haven't Seen Him Eat. Or Sleep. At All.
on the plus side, come this AUs version of Part 5 Jotaro is ready to completely annihilate these assholes
also, while Wammu is definitely going to be heartbroken another child is afraid of him, Jotaro is going to be a good help with getting Giorno used to him. Things are made more more and less difficult by the fact that this is their first meeting. More because Giorno has no familiarity to build off of, but also less because there aren't going to be the wildly conflicting emotions making things more confusing which Jotaro had to deal with
and with Jolyne, technically she'd be in the same boat as Giorno. Since nobody knew she existed until Stone Ocean when she was 19 she wouldn't have known Wammu at all. At the very least, things are made easier by how being an almost fully matured adult, his instincts are easier to tune out, so she gets used to Wammu the fastest
(and speaking of the guy, he's very happy that there's not one, but three other people who have extended life times. It's comforting knowing they'll be able to live longer than a regular human and all four of them offer each other a sense of stability in that sense)

Okay locking in my guesses for today >:)
David - def doubt he's culprit, he's just been so narratively suspicious that i doubt it's him. He's been called out by Teruko from the start and if i ever made a fangan, i wouldn't choose to put the culprit in the thumbnail. Judging by the fact he revealed his family history of depression, he might be the hopeless child one, as i realized the manipulator one may not fit him. Hes shown to be overall upfront on his intentions and judging by how he let his mask slip within the first moments after meeting xander and teruko suggests that he puts up a front, not a manipulator. He also did blush after arei hugged him, and i doubt u can fake that, so i think his feelings (platonic i feel) are real
Ace - Im still on fence whether he may have the motive. He could easily be bluffing (maybe to draw David out and for david himself to admit it) as idk if Ace would ever go looking for David's secret by asking around. If Ace does know, it either implies he guessed using process of elimination (maybe he at least knows other people's secrets like min or levi) or he asked either veronika (i think she has the hopeless secret) or whit. But ace doesnt like veronika, and idk if he'd talk to whit lol.
As for him being culprit, it wont make sense imo for him to admit he was on the second floor at the time of death. Moreover, and really imo, the murder doesn't feel like ace would do it (i sound like j lol) as its a very clean murder and I feel ace would he of a more slapped-dash kinda of way. He does have motive to kill, either nico or to escape, but he has no reason to kill arei that i can think of.
Nico - kinda like david, if Nico is the killer, it would be narratively disappointing. To just have nico pivot his attention to arei makes no sense. Now both murder set ups seem similar, with the neck being the point damaged, but nico would be incriminating himself if he just did something he was caught last time for doing AGAIN. Though nico was just wandering around (while i dont think its crucial atm, the fact no one aside ace found that suspect is strange) at the time of death is suspicious. Nico does say he feeds the fish before 10 and he recalls seeing David go to the second floor around time of death, so wouldn't nico have been there too?? Again i don't want nico killer
Swap theory - admittedly ... i dont get the swap theory. I get too mixed up on who's doing the killing and who's being impersonated. Tho it could be possible, as during first part of trial, there was an extended discussion abt accomplices that seemed to have gone no where, so for it could be paid off later in the trial.
Hu - Honestly there's just this gut feeling I have it's Hu even tho theres no indication yet. As everyone has pointed out, shes been very defensive of nico in this whole nico-ace debacle, while nico has been strangely silent. Hu definitely dislikes ace, tho for arei, I'm not as sure outside of hu being fed up with arei in ch 1. Hu refuses to tell her secret or for some reason, the secret she has. There was wire involved with nico killing ace, wire hu could have given, and she may have resorted to arei's rope in storage since she no longer has her weapon and a rope is similar to her wire. Charles does mention finding a starched up ball of clothes in the dress up room, clothes only whit, teruko, and hu are probably aware of. And we do see hu's clothing there. She also mentions her alibi twice with being with eden, which isnt anything important, I just thought was strange.
Eden - I recall reading a post of eden being a culprit and truth is ... i dont wanna suspect my girl even if there is evidence 😭😭 she has connections with arei, and she was with hu during the time of death, a alibi i just said i doubted. She was in the dress up room for unexplained reasons the night of ace's "bda". But i really dont want it to be eden, and if it is, pls for a good reasonnnnn
Levi - i love levi, he's literally why i got into drdt so ahhh i dont wanna suspect him. But with the emphasis placed on the secrets, Levi's could potentially fit the cold blooded killer. Tho from the intro to ch 2 between levi and eden, he does seem to be wanting to be a good person, which doesnt read to me as a killer without remorse. However he does have a connection with ace and nico, and he did mention saying he wanted to strangle ace during the first trial, with ace and arei then being attacked at their neck. There's an unexplained punch on the computer room's wall, one that could connect to the floor below and seems levi could be the one to break the wall like that.
Anyway thats all i gotta say :D

could we have some more thoughts on ruby posessing deans body post-s3?
how would dean react when he returned?
thank you for asking, my lovely little anon. i totally forgot i had mentioned this a while back and being reminded of it has made me go holy shit.... my mind.....
(putting a cut here because i wrote a lot)
i think it all would have started very shortly after dean died. the entire foundation of sam and rubys relationship at this point has been that sam has reluctantly agreed to be rubys ally for the sake of saving dean. ruby KNOWS how far sam is willing to go for him and is already using that to manipulate sam from the moment they meet. she knows. like she knows knows. maybe just from being around him or from stalking him or from a hearing it from a little birdie whos been in sams head before. but she knows.
I dont know how long the gap between ruby being possessed by lilith and ruby coming back would be, id imagine a few days, giving sam time to grieve dean or at least to accept the fact that hes dead before ruby shows up in a brand new (or all to familiar) body.
i wont pretend to understand how possession works, especially when its happening to a dead character. i dont think the writers knew either so itd be safe to make up my own rules about it. but its deans body. polished and buffed with not a scratch on him.
sams reaction would be similar to the one we see in the show. hed think dean was undead (technically right) and try to kill ruby before she can get a word out.
and ruby would explain it to sam like hes an idiot, like the reason behind her possessing dean is a no brainer. shes keeping deans body warm for when they get him back. otherwise who knows what will get to him first? this isnt possessing someone and controlling their body against their will. this is a favor. and sam will feel stupid and concede that shes right even if hes uncomfortable with the idea.
it starts immediately. sam treating ruby like she really is dean. without even thinking about it sams already agreed to work together with ruby in bringing dean back and theyre running off together without a word into an all too familiar routine - the only difference being that sam sits in the drivers seat now, and even that is back to normal after sam gets injured on the job and ruby drives them both to safety, a hand clutching sams bleeding shoulder and telling him hes gonna be alright and theyre gonna get back and patch him up and he'll be good as new. and its all too achingly familiar that sams holding her hand on top of his wound and letting himself fall asleep, putting trust in her that he would only ever put in dean.
its the same, but its not. ruby for the most part leans into the dean-isms, but jolts sam back to reality sometimes when she lets her eyes linger while sams just out of the shower bent over looking through his duffle for clean clothes, when shes giving him a hungry look that sams only ever seen dean direct at girls in bars that makes sams stomach flutter. when ruby moves in for the kill it takes suprisingly little convincing to get sam okay with the idea. like hes been waiting to just be told that its okay to want it this entire time.
before they know it deans back (despite bringing dean back being against rubys plans) and in his own body (she has to keep her promises) and ruby has plucked the body of a legally dead jane doe to parade around in. and its. different. dean takes sams new affinity for physical contact as a reaction to finally having dean back, that he needs to feel that deans really there to believe it, but its a lot. a lot more than hes used to from sam.
he doesnt know. not for a while. he wouldnt think to suspect it. until eventually the truth comes out and deans fucking pissed that no one thought to tell him a fucking demon was piloting around his body for a few months, but he doesnt understand the level of reaction that sam gives. how guilty sam feels. until the guilt and the touching and ruby acting like sams jealous ex starts coming together in deans mind.
even if dean has feelings for sam or wouldve done the exact same if he was in sams position, i think it would still feel like a violation. sam took something that dean didnt give and for dean to realise that right after coming out of hell by the only person in the world he would trust not to violate him that way? itd be a lot to deal with. he'd push down his panic over it and laugh about it and make fun of sam for it and stop the conversation when sam sees straight through him and tries to have a genuine heart to heart about it because dean cant fucking handle the thought of having to talk about the repeated brutal rape and torture sessions he both endured and enacted in hell, or to console sam over it when he might fucking snap and beat him with a crowbar if he has to see sam acting like a kicked dog when hes the one who raped him.
it'd take a lot for them to work through. it wouldnt be sunshine and rainbows while they kiss and both declare their love for each other. dean doesnt talk about hell but they both know the memories consume him, a newfound violence in the way he kills, the effective coldness in the way he tortures and interrogates. the distance in his eyes when sam tries to talk to him when hes in that mindspace. thered be a lot of acting like they used to, then eventually dean snapping either because hes frustrated with feeling like he has to act like things are normal and that hes okay with what sam did, or frustrated that things do feel normal and that he still feels safe around sam.
they fight. its bad. not in a property damage way but in an emotions way because it all comes out. and then they slowly and gently work through it one step at a time.

Chapter one
Warnings: violence(?)
"You're on thin ice, Wade." Logan drops wade on the floor, wade coughs and sucks in a breath "kinky" "You have a death wish, Wade. You are only here because Charles believes in giving people second chances. I don't." Logan growled, deadpool goes quiet at the mention of Charles, to deadpool, charles and Stryker were one in the same, as if reading his mund, Logan growls "He's nothing like Stryker, You'd do well to remember that." "Yeah? 'S That why he convinced me Stryker would 'cure my cancer'?!" Logan's eyes narrow, his breath heavy as he tries to rein in his rage. His claws extend, rattling as they move
"Do you know the difference between you and me, Wade?" "Your like a hundred years older than me?" Wade spoke sarcastically "Not what I was thinking, but not wrong. I have centuries of training and discipline. You... don't. When it comes to killing, I'm the best there is. There's no one alive who can come close. Do I need to demonstrate?" A sick smile spreads on wades face "go ahead" Logan's body tenses as he raises a fist with his claws fully extended, growling, his eyes glowing red. He slowly lifts his fist and brings it down toward Wade's face. With a split second to spare, he stops his fist inches from Wade's face, so close that Wade can feel the heat coming off his claws. Logan stands over Wade staring down at him with his red glowing eyes
"Does that answer your question?" "Loud and clear" a vein was visibly throbbing on logans forehead as he stares down at Wade, clenching his fists as he tries to control his rage. His whole body is trembling with the tension of it all. Logan finally speaks in a barely controlled whisper..
"...Next time, I wont stop." Wade laughed "Do I make you mad Howlett? Do you wanna hurt me? then go ahead, mark me up" Wade spoke and the tension turned awfully romantic. "Go ahead, cut me up, break every bone in my body, rip out my guts, shoot me full of holes, just let it all out. Because when you're done, Ill still be standing right here, waiting for you to finish" Wolverine looks shocked as the words leave wades mouth. They don't seem to fit, but he knows he's being honest. The mutant in him knows exactly how much pain he can take before he passes out, dies or heals.
"I can stand my ground against you, Logan. And if you want to beat me, you'll have to kill me first. So, do us both a favor and get it over with." Wade spoke again, his voice harsh and determined "What are you doing?" "Making sure your ready to fight. I've watched you beat people to a pulp and never even blink. Why won't you hurt me?" "Because I dont want to kill you" "Then what are you doing?!!" Logan growls "Look at me! Look into my eyes and see that I'm telling the truth!" "I can't" Logan looks away, ashamed, as he tries to find an excuse. But there isn't any. Deadpool is right. He doesn't want to hurt Wade. Not really. If he did, he would have already. He does love wade, in a sick and twisted way, he can never truly live without him, but that doesn't mean he wont to hurt him, or even kill him. But there's no reason to. Wade deserves to live.
"Theres no reason to" Logan thought again as he looked back at his teammate. He knew this wasn't easy for him, but he had to try. If he didn't, Wade might actually end up getting killed. And if that happened, he'd never forgive himself.
"Okay" Logan said, sighing, releasing his grip on his claws "Fine." He dropped his hands and stood there looking down at Wade.
"You're right, Wade. I don't want to hurt you. I don't want to kill you either." "Thanks" Wade rolls his eyes Logan looked around. No one else was there. Wolverine was alone with his thoughts and feelings, Wade was there, but he didn't count, He sighed, shaking his head as he looked down at Wade, his eyes glazed over, trying to think of something else. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if Wade died. Would he mourn him? Or would he be relieved? He didn't know. His heart ached, but his mind was made up. He refused to give Wade the satisfaction of knowing that he could hurt Logan.
"But I will do this"

Deadpool was sitting there, quietly, waiting for the moment to pass, twiddling the lit cigarette in his fingers when he felt something land on his shoulder. It startled him, but he quickly realized it was Logan.
"Sorry about your cheek" Logan whispered, "its.. its fine" wade responded, absent mindedly rubbing his bloody cheek, keeping his voice low, as if he wanted to avoid alerting the others, logan stopped dead in his tracks "that's my hoodie..." logan said "oh." Wade was about to take it off "it's fine. Keep it on" logan waved it off "just wasn't expectin that" Wade blushed and took a drag of his cig
"How are you holding up?"
"It'll get easier" "what do you mean?" "Im ready to fight, Logan. I'm calm. I'm ready to fight. Im not scared anymore" wade passed logan the smoke, he took it "Good, It's nothin like what you've been through, though" he passed it back "you've got no idea what I've been through, Howlett" deadpool spoke low, growling, but there wasn't any real bite to it, there was a morbid intimacy between the two men, they could share anything, there was no real judgement, even if they pretended, they were truly to halfs and they did make a whole. Logan heard foot steps, he turned to see Charles hurrying toward them.
"Logan! Wade! What are you two doing out here? I told you to stay inside, I don't want you getting hurt before practice!" Charles scolded, giving Wade a stern look. Wade simply smiled, but Logan was completely deflated.
"We were just talking, Charles" Logan lied, hoping that Wade wouldn't catch on.
"Were you fighting?" "No" "Then why is Wade's cheek all bloody?" Charles asked, his voice rising slightly "I'm sorry" Wade spoke "we were just joking around"
"Joking around with Wolverine?" Charles raised an eyebrow "Charles, you know we were just messing around" "Just making sure" he nodded, satisfied "well, I'll let you two get back to whatever it is you're doing" "Thank you" Logan looked at Wade "Did you want to talk?"
"Maybe later" Wade said, giving Logan a reassuring smile "maybe" "Well, we should probably head back in" "Right" wade stomped out the cig and the pair walked back into the building, leaving Charles alone. Wade was quiet as they walked, and Logan found himself wondering why. Was he Worried that he was going to get hurt? Or was he just upset about what happened earlier? he felt a strange, sudden protectivness of wade suddenly wash over him, Whatever it meant, he didn't say anything until they reached the door.
"Do you... want to talk about it?"
Wade seemed to hesitate for a moment, then shook his head.
"No, I don't think so."
Logan frowned, and they entered the building together
