So uh. Eventually I'll stop drawing these guys so obsessively but not today I guess.
(DND AU where it's just these two, Brent, and Paul on a life mission to annoy Chris the GM by having the pact of "we're only here for Karen's benefit")
Karen is a warlock, Right is a cleric, Paul is a paladin, and Brent is a bard (so he can use bardic inspiration on Karen).
#my characters#fun fact i was watching a trio of streamers do tier lists and i saw them do a tier list about their streamer friends#and they all voted on how the person would die in dnd and the funniest thing to come out of it imo#was the difference of SELF SACRIFICE and under it FORCIBLY SACRIFICED#like who would take one for the team willingly and who would be disposed of with majority vote#then they added an executed for their crimes spot under that so while they were debating some guy they settled on#he was the one that initiated most of the forcibly sacrificed ideas and that means he was eventually executed for his crimes#which ... was really funny to distinguish#the point is thats karen in this non existent campaign#she is here to mess people up and then use her allies as scape goats and they all just go well that sucks peace out im on the chopping bloc#and chris is getting more and more distressed over the fact YOU GUYS CAN LITERALLY TALK YOUR WAY OUT OF IT#but they really dont talk their way out of it like he wants#they instead are like ok cool so im gonna pretend like i didnt see karen kill that guy#and shes like i mean it was an accident i didnt MEAN to kill THAT guy#which is why they all vote to not see it and not bring it up RIP that guy#i saved this canvas as A WARLOCK AND HER CLERIC#which is honestly fitting#anyway i wanna draw fanart again at some point but my joy is stored in the ocs rn#i dont play dnd i just listen to one person talk to me about dnd and thats enough#oops i fell in love

I hope I do this right aaaaa-
It's my first time... 👉👈
Could I request a Yandere!Yae moment with a gender neutral reader? Maybe they are a writer at the Yae Publishing House and Yae takes quite an interest in what they're writing.. and about who ;) So she tries to investige, falling in love with the reader more than she imagined she ever would and gets very strongly attached, maybe a bit too much...
I just couldn't stop thinking about my fox lady ever since I got her and this has been on my mind for quite some time.
❤🔥
Yae definitely is rather possessive type isn't she? I kinda thought I might make it longer but I ended up leaving it like this since I'm satisfied with it ^^
Also adding the disclaimer just so some people don't get any ideas. Cuz I saw a lot of bad takes on the Yandere trope and I don't want to be associated with either sides of that argument.
Yandere! Yae with writer S/O
Reader here is gender neutral
Cw: toxic relationships, gaslight, possessiveness, suggestive content (implied sex, peeking)
Disclaimer: everything in pink text is Miko's narrative so these notes especially aren't meant to be taken seriously. This is not healthy. This entire scenario isn't showing a healthy relationship. Nor is it gloryfing it.
When she first saw you she didn't feel anything special really. Only after you started working for Yae publishing house she started being interested.
She did found you disposable, after all you were a human with a fleeting life but she made the mistake of being attached to you. So for now you'll continue to amuse her for a bit longer than she suspected.
She had a lot of excuses to see you, and she used every single one. This gave you quite a lot of opportunities as a writer.
Her feedback on the book you were working on was very valuable and the only one that truly mattered. She also got you the best team there is to reach it's full potential.
But she also had huge expectations and has put a lot of pressure on your team... You excluded. She just didn't wanted them to have the audacity to take up your free time when she wants to talk to you... So she adds them unnecessary additional work.
Oh but don't get me wrong, she still toyed with you. She was on the surface extremely sweet and teasing Miko she always was... But in reality she tried to trick your mind that you need her and only her.
While she did praise your writing she said that it needs some extra work if you want it to be seen. Of course most publishers wouldn't give something so risky a time of their day if they wanted to earn mora, right? but she was here for her interest of the story rather than some mora.
She's the only one who you can count on if you want to make it work. After all every other publisher will use you, unlike her.
She made a lot of effort to be alone with you. You were her toy and frankly Miko doesn't like sharing much.
Sometimes she'd lock the doors without you noticing just so nobody can disturb your conversation and your alone time.
But when she's not in the mood she'd keep it locked so you won't get any funny ideas about leaving your work early.
She loves every reaction she can get from you even if you don't find it enjoyable. She likes it when you feel scared just as much she likes seeing you excited.
Of course she makes sure most of your encounters with her are pleasurable ones. How else would you willingly stay by her side otherwise? So unfortunately she can't have her full fun and use all of the opportunities... But instead she gets to make you beg for her company. So I suppose that's a win for her.
Of course if you agreed to be her lover which she was sure you'd do she'd spoil you. Going out to nice dinners was often your destination. But she also likes to dress you up. Because you are her doll she can play with whenever she wants.
And the clothes she gets for you are usually something only she wants to see. Not that it's something inappropriate... Usually... She just wants to be the only one who gets to see you looking pretty for her. Since this IS for her.
She often helps you put on said clothes. Her smile as wide as ever as she just can't wait to see it. Her hands wander on her own as her teasing touch was something she slipped here and there just so she could see or potentially hear what you'd do.
But sometimes she'd watch you struggle with the clothes instead.
It was amusing seeing you miss the sleeve or figure out what layer goes first. Not only that she also gets to see you all flustered as you're undressed in front of her. That's probably her favorite view... Your body and your panicked face.

Hello cosmic! I was just reading a post about Levi & Zeke elaborating on their differences and a few similarities (which regarding the latter imo they have none). Anyway, one of the similarities they mentioned is this "Levi and Zeke were both captain of their teams who sacrificed the lives of their comrades if needed so the ppl who say what Zeke did is horrible but call Levi a hero who also admitted they killed their comrades for their goals are hypocrites. Zeke felt bad too, only that his view in life was different"
I don't believe any of this of course but I really like to read ur analysis on this take. Thank u!
Hi there,
Well, this is one of the dumbest takes I think I've ever read, lol. Just on the most basic level, Levi was fighting for humanity's survival, and Zeke, despite what he told himself, was fighting for his own sense of self-importance, wanting to see himself as "special", feeding his narcissism and ego. But the major key difference between Levi "sacrificing lives" for the Survey Corps cause, and Zeke, is that Levi didn't use people as tools against their knowledge or will. Every single member of the SC KNEW what they'd signed up for, and what the risks were, and they agreed to it willingly. Levi never lied about what he, or what they, were fighting for. Zeke, on the other hand, purposefully and constantly kept his comrades in the dark as to his true intentions, manipulated them and used them as a means to an end which they never agreed to, or had any awareness of. He was a pathological liar who viewed the lives of his comrades, and everyone else, as nothing more than weapons for him to wield in order to accomplish a completely selfish and personal goal of making himself into the world's "savior", whereas Levi was always blunt and honest, and viewed the lives of his comrades and of people in general as the priority, only able to put aside his own desire to save and protect his fellow soldiers in the belief that it would lead humanity to having a future.
None of the people whom Zeke could count as friends or comrades ever agreed to anything he did. None of them ever volunteered for what he did. He routinely and intentionally placed them in mortal danger, forcing them into circumstances beyond their will or knowledge, saw them as disposable tools in a game only he was playing, or agreed to play. He betrayed all of them, and then had the gall to act as if the great burden was on him for having to make the "tough choice" of killing them, and then, richest of all, re-framing his murder of them as an act of mercy, rather than just admitting to what it was, a selfish, cruel act on his part in order to attain a personal dream. He's a complete narcissist, and how people constantly miss this about him is beyond me. Everything Zeke ever did was motivated purely by self-obsession. He saw his acts of murder as mercy because, being a narcissist, he couldn't separate other people from himself, saw them as simply an extension of himself, and so forcibly projected all of his feelings and viewpoints onto them. He never cared about anyone but himself, that's what these Zeke defenders don't get. Just because Zeke SAYS he cares doesn't mean jack squat. Actions speak louder than words, and every single one of his actions paints a picture clear as day of someone who was entirely motivated by his own, self-obsession and self-pity. Someone so self-absorbed, that he couldn't even see how what he were doing was using people against their will all in an attempt to reaffirm his own sense of self-righteousness. He decided, because he had a shitty childhood, that the lives of every single Eldian in existence was worthless. That's PURE selfishness. It drives me crazy that people are blind to this about Zeke.
Levi, in comparison, had a significantly WORSE childhood than Zeke, living in intense squalor, violence, deprivation and desperation all the way through to his adulthood, and yet, somehow, he has the exact opposite view, knowing that, DESPITE his childhood being horrible, and experiencing immense loss and suffering in his life, other people's lives are still worth living, still valuable, still precious. He understands that other people have the right to choose, that their will and agency means something. Zeke doesn't know that because Zeke only sees himself as having value. Everyone else is just a thing for him to use.
This is a completely invidious comparison, and to make it shows the person making these points completely missed the thematic contrast between Levi and Zeke, which is hugely important both to the themes of the story itself and to understanding their characters.  Levi represents the value of life, represents life having purpose and meaning.  Zeke represents nihilism, thinking life has no inherent value or meaning.  The contrast between them is intentional on Isayama’s part.  Levi values life about everything.  Zeke doesn’t value life at all.

God i love your take on the castle and its inhabitants but i have so many question on your take of servitude in the castle, like what are the general rules all servant must follow, Do you have headcanons on the more permanent servants of the house such as the steward and the chef? How do you avoid being turned into wine? Who else are less likely turned into wine? Sorry if this is too long im so curious
I love this question so much aaa! I've actually been thinking of this ever since I started working on my fic and even have a handful of staff ocs that make appearances/ are mentioned here and there:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In order we have:
Alexandria, the young Steward that recently took over the previous one's duties after being an apprentice of sorts of the woman who died of old age. Takes care of organizing the staff and events at the castle. Alcina actually has a second Steward who effectively takes the title of Chamberlain and takes care of finances and sometimes goes on business trips in her stead, since she would attract far less attention than Alci's 3 meter self.
Cynthia, their head cook who lived with an abusive husband until her late twenties when she decided to take revenge on him by killing him, cooking him up and serving him to his friends. When police started to get a little too suspicious, she fled and seeked employment in the castle and Alcina was beyond delighted to hear her story. She has a team of undercooks, some specialized in certain things, and two in particular that she's teaching all the ins and outs of how the ladies prefer their meals.
Caroline is Cassandra's dog trainer that doubles as a Constable. Born in Kansas and ended up in the village through Miranda and was then sent to the castle. Was initially supposed to be a disposable maid but her skills with the dogs and the horses convinced Alcina to make her one of the permanent staff members, and she has no regrets ,the animals are trained beautifully.
Their yet to be named Seamstress, a small witty woman in her late thirties that won't hesitate to gut someone with her scissors. She has traveled a lot in her life and always has interesting stories to tell if asked by a bored Daniela.
Aside from them, there's a plethora of other staff members. The maids, of course tho y'all know about them, a handful of butlers that take care of serving meals, a couple guards that are stationed at the entrances to greet any visitors (or shoot them, depending on situation), a few gardeners, a Master of Wardrobes that works hand in hand with the Seamstress and a few more specialized positions like those who make sure the fireplace are lit. There's also the women that work in the vineyard, though they are not actual residents of the castle and come from the town.
Alcina, in true dragon fashion, likes to "collect" people for her staff to have the most perfect castle she can. When she finds someone with a good set of skills that manages to put them to use in a way that benefits her, she'll want to keep that person around. She likes people that are good at their jobs, and those go on to teach younger staff members their craft and so on and so forth, assuring that the castle has a competent group of high ranking staff members that know how the ladies want things done like the back of their hands.
The more important your position is, the less likely you'll get killed off, so Alexandria for example can rest assured she will live a relatively fulfilling life and die of old age, unless she majorly fucks up something. Also if you come to the castle willingly (like Nicole did) Alcina is more likely to hear out what you can bring to the table and see if you're worth keeping around. If you're sent there by Miranda, welp, better be absolutely outstanding at your job or else you'll most likely become a blood juice box and then undead demon someday. Tho I guess you could say that's still relatively merciful.
As for who gets eaten, as far as my hc goes, Miranda just procures groups of people from around the world through less than legal means. People that wouldn't be looked for and such. Idk it makes more sense to me that Miranda wouldn't just want to kill off all the people who worship her when others are available. They are then brought to the village and she decides wether they'll be used for experiments and by whom, or sent to the castle as food for Alcina and the family. These are the people that end up tortured, studied by Cassandra if she's in a nerdy mood and then eaten. Also the only men who step foot in the castle (aside from the lords) or more specifically the dungeons, though they never make it out alive.
And for rules, they aren't terribly complicated. Do your job well, don't fuck up and lords help you if you disrespect any of the ladies.

INCEL SHIGARAKI HEADCANONS
Pairing:Incel Tomura x Girlfriend Reader
TW: Humilation,Slight manipulation, Slight Degradation, Mentions of Drooling, Unprotected Sex, Possessive behavior at the end
Word count: 931
Part 1
Tumblr media
The two of you met online, he was one of the top players in the server where you often hang out.  He was one of the few who would backlash at you whenever you start to invite players in his server where men would literally line up for your disposal. He claimed that you were one of those so called ‘fake gamer girls’.
In retaliation you tried messaging him privately wanting to see how far he would take this pick me behavior. ‘Lo and behold it wasn’t even a full minute that you contacted him, claiming that you needed his skill to win the next match, that he accepted your team invite.
“Sucker...” you smirked while being illuminated by your computer screen as you continued playing him by the palm of your hands.
Sure he got mocked online for being a simp but he knows it’s all worth it when one of the top girl streamers wants to team up with you. Also he easily crushed those that made fun of him in a game ranked so there’s that.
After quiet some time of playing and knowing him online you tried reaching out to him to meet in person, out of curiosity. Surprisingly he was more than willing to meet up with you even at the risk that you might be a man in disguise. And boy was he glad that he took that risk. You may or may not had seen some drool slipped when he saw you the first time.
Your dates with him consists of hanging out at his place while you entertain yourself with your phone.
You once tried inviting him back at your place and he wouldn’t stop sniffing at every corner of your room. Also you may had walked in on him rummaging through your laundry basket.
He was always fidgety for some reason whenever you try to initiate any physical contact, and you LOVE teasing him for it. Like ‘accidentally’ pouring large amounts of hand lotion and then taking his calloused hands with yours to give him the excess one.
“Oh wow this hand is softer than the other, is this your masturbating hand?” you jokingly teased him. Seeing his pale face turn alarmingly red confirmed your suspicion.
During one of your ‘dates’ you crudely asked him if he was still a virgin. He went full on feral on you. Defending himself saying that ‘all he needs are 2D girls and that 3d girls like yourself don’t deserve to be with him’. However when he saw you licked your lips and ask him for his virginity he quickly shut himself up.
You have to ‘physically train him’ how to handle your body. Holding hands at first, then escalating to letting him take a hold on one of your breasts, then your thighs, after which taking his first kiss. Then finally letting him initiate a makeout session
Speaking of make out session, your first with him consists of having his tongue so far down your throat you almost choked from both his spit and tongue; and feeling him rutting his hard on, on your thighs. He had to change his pants after that.
Fast forward to your first time, he actually had the audacity to shoot his load while giving you his first oral.
“Aww did licking me turned you on so bad you just had to pre maturely ejaculate? Or were you that always fast”
“Shut up...”
You had to give it to him though for trying and failing to hold back just after he tried inserting himself into you the first time
Grumbling feeling the warm gooey sensation inside of you, you tried pushing him off and out of you saying stuff like “Premature ejaculator”. He pleaded with you to let him do you one more time. Shakily crying from over stimulation you supposed, snot and all while hugging you tightly not wanting to let you go. Not now that he has you underneath him willingly.
He’d gone and proved you wrong by going down on you for the second time that night letting you cum before re-entering you again and this time he held on for much longer.
Maybe you might have miscalculated his vigor, because even after just having an orgasm he shakily tried humping into you, with an unmistakable drool slipping from his lips falling unto your chest, until he had a hard on again to continue your fucking session up until early into the morning and even so. After loosing consciousness, you awoken again to having your back side rutted against.
After your little romp in the sheets he accused you for addicting him, telling you that now you have to take care of him whenever he had a hard on, and that watching porn and jacking it off aren’t just good enough anymore.
As a result you at least try to humor him whenever he wanted to try a something new with you, one’s that he read on a hentai site. Although when push comes to shove, you easily put him in his place whenever he becomes too pushy. Hinting to break up with him and saying that he would never find another girl like you willing to put up with his freakishness.
You know it’s all BS to be honest, when you know you were always the overbearing one in a relationship. Always insisting on hanging out at his room, always trying to rile him into messing the sheets with you, and trying to steer him past another bitch who as much as looked at his direction.

steve’s ending is never ever going to sit right with me, ignoring the fact that I don't think for a SECOND he'd voluntarily choose to go back in time 80 years and leave behind everything he's come to love about the 21st century bc fuck, man, steve would love it. he literally says so in catws. he may be nostalgic and he'd probably want to visit, if he was able to, to just see people who are long gone - his mum, the howlies, peggy - but he'd come back and im sure about that. besides, steve abandoning his best friend since childhood? sam, wanda, the rest of the team? make it make sense
but actually, even the way he just up and left without saying anything to anyone (aside from bucky, supposedly, off screen). extremely out of character. its literally him running away, which is the one thing he never did? all through engdame he's been running away like a coward. if he's tired of the fight, if he wants to retire, pass the mantle, wouldn't he stand up and say so?
it would have been so satisfying to see, as an ending to his entire character arc. to stand up to the world, the govt, the military, shield, whatever - whoever the avengers are accountable to these days, idk the movies dont make it very clear - and say no. im done.
to choose himself. to come full circle and realise he doesn't have to keep going back to the fight, he doesn't have to give any more of himself, he doesn't owe the world anything more because he's saved it over and over again.
doesn't that actually give him some goddamn character development? from the little guy who had something to prove, who felt the need to lay down his life, as if it's what he needs to do to be less of a burden to the world who treated him like he was disposable, a nuisance, a nobody. to give something back for daring to take up space in the world as a disabled man who had nothing else to offer. to the weary soldier, realising for once in his 38-odd-years that he's a person whose life is worth more than what he can give to others.
it would be so nice to see him be selfish for once. to say ive given enough. im enough. i choose myself. i don't owe the world my life, my happiness, i don't have to sacrifice anything anymore. to look them in the eye and dare them to call him selfish. dare them to make him feel guilty about his choice.
i think he deserves a happy ending. he's not been given the serum and the shield and the status and job security in exchange for his humanity. he deserves to get to live out the rest of his days surrounded by family and friends and a small army of farm animals. to do the things he loves and find himself a new job that'll help him heal.
only slightly related, but this is also why i don't vibe with deserumed steve. aside from strength and height and the superhuman speed and increased intelligence... the serum actually healed his ailments. why would you take that away from him? he doesn't deserve that. he deserves to be able to breathe and hear and see and heal and be in good health im sorry but. he can keep the serum and choose to retire willingly. that's it

A-Z for the oc asks (:
Help okay this is going to be so long it is under a cut.
A. Annoying: What is your OC’s most annoying trait?
Sandrone
Always monotone. Which, as his creator, I'm legally obligated to say I speak exactly like him about 80% of the time. Very dull, monotone, steady at all times. It's annoying! Or at least, I've been told. So, yeah. That.
Ohm
Puts his work first always. Those who know him only know a small smidge of the work he does and it would seem like there's no way in hell he has SO much work regarding that one section. But yeah, he's a workaholic who does just.. a lot.. behind the scenes.
B. Best: What is your OC’s best personality trait?
Sandrone
He's very observant! He can be dense regarding romantic stuff of course, but other things he's hella in the know. Sulien remembers or notices everything somebody he cares about says or does regarding things they like. So yes, he will always have your favourite takeout and snack ready before you even realise how sad you actually are. He knows.
Ohm
Like youngest like eldest I suppose. Ohm is also incredibly observant. Ohm is a bit more annoying with it because he will know you're injured even if you try to hide it. But beyond that, he's like a dog. You're sad? Cool let's go do something! Literally contradicts his above annoying trait but I mean, Ohm is weird as hell, he manages too many two faced traits. Anyways have a lollipop.
C. Child: Your OC encounters a crying, lost child. How do they react?
Sandrone
Ooh.. He's confused.. Sulien doesn't do well with people crying in general, let alone kids. He's had some practice with Tartaglia's little siblings, but that's not very much. He's kind of a yk criminal, so he'll probably bring the kid to the nearest location that looks like it'll be able to help them find their parents. He won't stick around for all that long, he's so awkward.
Ohm
He is on a fucking mission. Ohm is a doctor, he's a very good doctor, he's crouched down talking calmly within seconds. Always has lollipops on hand for this, and for himself, but mostly this. The kid's hand is in his while they're chewing away happily within moments. Then he'll find the parents, and they WILL get scolded on losing their child. Captain Ohm is not pleased ):<
D. Desire: Your OC has the opportunity to get the thing they desire most, but it means betraying a friend. Do they do it?
Sandrone
Yes. He does. A natural infiltrator, Sulien is known as a betrayer for a reason. Merely a job for the most part, a business transaction if you will. All relationships can be sacrificed in exchange of Freedom. He doesn't care. Sulien is tired, he has few friends as is, sometimes people need to go.
Ohm
No. Because betraying a friend for what he desires means to throw away everything he's ever signed his own life away for. Ohm can't do that, no matter how much he craves Death or Peace. One is obtainable if he makes a mistake and the other is unobtainable. He'll get there in the end without betraying somebody.
E. Excellent: Which of your OCs is the most virtuous?
This one will surprise people who don't as intimately know their stories. I mean come on, you have the Medical Captain of the Knights of Favonius vs a Fatui Harbinger, right? And yet, Sandrone is the more virtuous. Curious, isn't it?
F. Forgive: How good is your OC at apologizing? Do they own up to it when they’ve made a mistake? How easily does your OC forgive other people?
Sandrone
He's so condescending without meaning to be.. Mostly because the times he's apologised, it's been while arresting or killing somebody and he's saying sorry for betraying them. He makes an effort once he's realised he's hurt somebody he cares about, stumbles over his words, but he'll try. He always owns up to mistakes though, especially since he makes so few and he needs to be a good impression to his subordinates so THEY don't make any mistakes. It would depend on what they've done to him. He doesn't forgive nor does he forget sometimes.
Ohm
Very good! He's a fantastic liar :D! Ohm knows that sometimes to appease people, you have to do what you must, and he's a king with words for a reason. Another one who leads people and needs to show up as a good leader, Ohm always owns up to his mistakes. There are though.. Some things... In his personal life that he's only ever told two.. maybe three people.. Those mistakes.. They run so deep. Hurt too much. Ohm may be a very forgiving person, but he never forgets. Never.
G. Guilt: Does your OC often regret their decisions? If so, describe a decision they regret.
Sandrone
Conditioned to not feel, he ignores things like regret or guilt. He isn't programmed to feel them. He can't afford to. So it isn't often that he'll regret a decision. But when he does, he thinks about it forever. What he could have done better, what would have changed the outcome, he's supposed to be the best in his field at analyzing any given situation and yet.. Sulien just thinks too much sometimes.
Ohm
A lot of the things he has done he regrets, even if he deems them necessary to choices to make. I suppose Ohm is interesting like that, outwardly, he keeps going, keeps pushing forwards. Inwardly, it's a constant blizzard of guilt. I've always likened Ohm to a man damned, so his feelings about his decisions and the guilt he feels when he makes a bad one definitely fits into that.
H. Honesty: How often does your OC lie? Do they believe lying is ever justified? Describe a time your OC told a lie, or told the truth even when it was difficult.
Sandrone
His job is to lie. Head of Reconnaissance for the Tsaritsa, the puppet's function is to infiltrate what he needs to in order to gain the information he needs. Always adaptable, moldable, he's a liar at any given time. Even if he'd rather tell the truth, he never does, in Her name everything was justified. To tell a time he lied would be just looking at his work history. To tell a time he told the truth even when it hurt, would be more interesting. To compromise; in /almost/ all of his voicelines, he's actually telling the truth. Try and figure which are actually the lies..
Ohm
Ohm is clever, cunning, his personality handcrafted, perfectly put together piece by piece. Unlike his younger brother, Ohm is a natural liar. It comes easy to him, every honeyed word spoken from a tongue of silver. He has sins to hide and karma to beat back, if that means lying? Well. So be it. His most obvious lie that's revealed throughout his story quests would be that he's almost never on expedition to a nation for medicinal supplies, but rather he was infiltrating Snezhnaya to try and find his brother. A lie very few people knew the truth of, most notable being Varka, who gave his approval. Some hard truths are better off buried for Ohm Ambros.
I. Individuality: Is your OC’s morality more influenced by the society they live in, or their own critical thinking?
Sandrone
I mean... I'll just be honest, Sulien got tortured into utter compliance by way of forcing him to forget everything he ever knew. He's smart as hell, but if he has no frame of reference, then yeah... It's influenced by the people around him, his environment. Sulien is getting better about it though.
Ohm
His moral code is a roulette wheel and he's not sure where the bullet is. But hey, it's fine. Literally, I have nothing else to add. Ohm kills people, like, straight up disposes. But he's also a very nice man, so..
J. Jealousy: How often does your OC get jealous of other people? Do they keep their jealousy in check, or does it influence their behavior?
Both of them aren't very jealous people, one because Sandrone doesn't even fucking know he's jealous. And two, Ohm is just kinda dense unless someone is like.. uncomfortable, then he'll notice.
K. Knack: What is something your OC is skilled at?
Sandrone
Sulien's skill that I like to talk about the most is the fact he personally repairs his mask(and other things) with Kintsugi! It requires a lot of patience and technique and he is very good at it. Takes him forever though ngl.
Ohm
He loves his origami. He's very talented with it and can make pretty much anything. A lot of stuff he can do either one handed or without looking, but the more complex stuff he actually needs to concentrate on. He has a nasty habit of folding his briefing papers into cool little pieces.
L. Loathe: What qualities does your OC loathe in other people? Do they tend to be judgmental of others, even when it isn’t warranted?
Sandrone
He doesn't like super whiny people. It's just a personal pet peeve of his, he'd rather not. Like the whole high pitch "hmf!' kind of whiny? Yeah. Despises it. Otherwise Sulien isn't very judgemental! He's pretty respectful in general.
Ohm
Lmao Ohm is a hypocrite. He dislikes people who are reckless and put others in danger. He'll willingly put himself in danger, but not his team, which is the only real difference. It's weird, he's best friends with Kaeya and yet- ahem anyways. Call it the Doctor Vibe or w/e.
M. Mistake: Describe a time your OC did something bad, or was wrong about something.
Sandrone
War Criminal! Congratulations! He was behind the scenes making sure the sigils of permission were done correctly. I mean, he's a war criminal in general though. Personally, good dude. His work? Mm.. He's done things!
Ohm
I can't even be like "this dude killed two people when he was fourteen! that's bad!!" cause it was sort of warranted. I think, to Ohm, his biggest mistake would be "failing his parents' one task to him" which was to protect Sulien. And he failed to do that and lost Sulien for pretty much eleven years. It haunts him constantly.
N. Negative: What does your OC believe is their worst flaw?
Sandrone
Sulien has a bit of a thing where he hates how emotional he can get. He's been equated to machine so often that when he feels, he doesn't feel real. He dissociates and he hates that feeling. To him, it is his worst flaw. The puppet being emotional? What's the point? But he also doesn't know how to express his emotions in a healthy way, and I think it makes it all that much worse when he feels so strongly sometimes.
Ohm
Somebody who has a low outlook on themselves, there is very little Ohm likes. Though his inability to feel like he belongs or perhaps the karma attached to him would be the worst ones. To be haunted by demons, among other things, it is utterly ridiculous to him. And yet, here he is. How one can find comfort in somebody like him is just, beyond him.
O. Outlook: Is your OC more optimistic, pessimistic, or realistic? How likely are they to believe a bad person can change?
They are both Realists. To take a situation upfront and deal accordingly is who they both are at their core. Sandrone is more likely to believe somebody bad can become good, because /he/ wants to be good. Ohm is less likely to believe this, no matter how much he may want it to be true. But at the end of the day, products of environments that were so truly unkind, they are both realistic of the grim world around them.
P. Positive: What does your OC believe is their best personality trait?
Sandrone
For some odd reason, Sulien thinks how blunt he is at times is a good personality trait. I mean, like, I guess? He believes it at least. Sulien just thinks that being blunt is a good way of dealing with things without any communication problems or misunderstandings, and that's true to an extent.
Ohm
A man bound by contracts, it'd be how dutiful he is. Diligence is the name of his game, ultimately. He's been doing this since he was a child, he better be good at what he does, and he is. He always fulfills his duties, always does his role, always plays his part. His work is who he is.
Q. Quirk: Does your OC have any (minor) bad habits? If so, what? (Biting their nails, sleeping in, procrastinating, etc.)
Sandrone
Honestly most of his work takes place at night or the evenings, so he usually sleeps the day away. It isn't the best for a person, but he does what he must.
Ohm
Due to his insane alcohol tolerance, he definitely drinks way too much. But it never really hits him...? So he just kinda drinks those lil fruity drinks of his cause he likes the taste haha
R. Respect: What qualities does your OC admire in other people?
Sandrone
Honesty. He admires honesty the most. Sulien has been lied to a lot, had things taken away from him that nobody should ever have taken away. He just wants somebody who will tell him the truth, even if it hurts.
Ohm
Surprisingly, Ohm likes people who are resourceful, a little bit cunning maybe. He likes people who are useful to him, and being useful means being able to think fast on your feet.
S. Success: Describe a time your OC did something good, or was right when others were wrong.
Sandrone
Most of the time LMAO bye. Sulien functions on one perfected line of code. "Analyse the situation, filter what is appropriate, narrow the results, speak." He tells Pierro straight to his face that he's a better information gatherer because "the difference between your recruits and me lies within step three." He's not often wrong, the other Harbingers hate him for it.
Ohm
He does his best to do good things to make up for all of his bad karma. A doctor, a captain, an adeptus. He sacrifices his own vitality to heal others. I mean the list goes on. He tries, very hard, to make up for the things he's done.
T. Troubled: Which of your OCs is the most flawed?
They're both flawed in their own ways that I can't really compare them.
Sandrone was broken down into bits, had literally every sense of self or shred of dignity stolen from him, and then he was turned into a tool and used time and time again. That trauma will never go away, nor the problems or flaws that arise from it. Then you have Ohm, who was forced onto a path of bloodshed and slaughter in the name of Celestia. A pawn that has lost everything, everyone. Who failed, time and time again, and has to live with that, with himself. That also doesn't ever go away.
And I think to compare them would be unfair. Especially when the more they learn of each other's pain in their separation, the further they fall into that guilt and pain for their twin. They always blame themselves for what happened to the other.
U. Upgrade: Does your OC strive for self-improvement, or are they less concerned about becoming a better person?
Sandrone
He does what he can with the circumstances he's in, if that makes sense. There isn't a lot that Sulien can do to change himself or the things around him. But he tries to learn better life skills(like cooking) or pick up new hobbies and stuff like that. He really does try though.
Ohm
I don't think that Ohm sees the value of self-improvement. He knows he isn't a good person, and I think he knows, deep down, that he can't really change that.
V. Value: Is your OC more selfish or selfless? What would they sacrifice for a loved one? What would they sacrifice for a stranger?
Ooh they're so similar haha.
Sandrone
Selfless, he is always doing what other people want. His opinion always comes second. For a loved one? He will lay his life down. For a stranger? Well he'll do his very damn best if the situation calls for it.
Ohm
Selfless, following a set path laid out in the stars before him, he has no choice. Fate has called and he has answered, what he wants does not matter. But put his loved ones in the firing line? He'll die before they do, he can guarantee that, and he has the power to ensure that. An innocent stranger will receive very close to the same treatment, too.
W. Worst: What is your OC’s worst flaw?
Sandrone
He accidentally gaslights people a lot.. Like he lies to lie at times because he's so used to it? And if you've never been gaslit you are so lucky, its such an awful feeling. A lot of the time when he does it to people he cares about, he really doesn't even notice. And I think that's pretty much his worst one. I mean and he kills people but w/e.
Ohm
He's self destructive. It's such a big part of his character and just who he is and it shows a lot about who he actually is. Ohm can't stand what he's been pushed into doing and yet he continues to do it. He'd do anything to wash himself of these feelings and it leads to incredible self destructive behaviour. He also kills people but w/e.
X. X-ray: Does your OC believe that they’re a good person? Would you consider them a good person?
Sandrone
No, he doesn't believe he's a good person. I, as his creator, know that he's a genuinely good person put into a bad situation and forced to make bad choices to survive. He just doesn't see it that way, he can't, he's been conditioned to believe whatever they need him to believe to get him complacent.
Ohm
Also doesn't believe he's a good person. And I, as his creator, know that he's bad at his core, but he tries so hard to do good things. He wasn't given a chance, not really. He tries to make up for it, tries to cleanse his sins, but that blood never washes off..
Y. Young: How has your OC been influenced by their past? Are they a better person because of their past, or a worse one?
-looks into the camera-
The answer is the same for both of them. Heirs to a clan favoured by Celestia, paths set in fate, destinies controlled by stars. They are influenced by things even further than their own pasts. Sandrone was allowed to forget his past, forget who he is, and what he means. Is that good? Is that bad? Who knows. But when he did remember as a child, he was very much influenced by it. Then Ohm, well.. Past mistakes and failures are who he is, right? The last thing he remembers is his father's words too him regarding destiny and given how ingrained that is in their family line. Well..
The past means everything to them.
Z. Zealous: Does your OC have any guilty pleasures? If so, what? (Watching reality TV, drinking soda, reading cheesy romance novels, etc.)

DCTV moodboards: Rogue Canary - heist
~420 word ficlet behind the read more. Prompt suggested by @blueelvewithwings on @flarrowverse-shipyard.
---
Weeks spent casing the joint leads Len to one conclusion: this can’t be pulled off using brute force nor cleverness alone. They need a very particular skill set to get a person in the right position to take out the final security surrounding the ruby.
Enter 1 woman with just the right acrobatic and knife-throwing abilities to plug the gap in their team. ‘Birdie’ willingly gives up the detail she’s an ex-assassin, but nothing more, telling them she values discretion. She doesn’t push for a higher cut as he expected. He clocks her not negotiating more as a pay-off, the price for their silence. He knows what it’s like to have a price on your head, so he says nothing of it - it’s easy money for something he doesn’t care much about either way. But Len doesn’t like flying blind, trusting an unknown quantity, and does his digging, for leverage, if nothing else. He doesn’t know what to make of the fact Sara Lance has family not that far away who think she died tragically in a boating accident years ago.
Mick takes to her pretty well. Those two bond over drinking and taste in women, among other things. She’s more canny around him though, paying acute attention to what he says and the way he moves around the room, around her. It’s unnerving, not that he would ever admit it out loud. He’s used to being the one who watches everyone else, used to being underestimated, but perhaps they have that in common. She always gives him a certain look when he is economical with words, like she sees right through him, sees clearly the shape of what he omits.
The 2nd job they work together is one she brings to them. That has his interest and Len can’t deny her skills are impressive. It’s a score too good to resist and a challenge even for her. Practice makes perfect so they’re hardly apart while they prep intensely. He starts to think about what more they could pull off with these abilities regularly at their disposal, mentally filing away possible jobs to keep their expanded team together. Not that he’s decided one way or the other about her. Usually, he makes his mind up about a person in an instant; it’s a matter of survival to judge them quickly and correctly, to accurately weigh up the risks they pose him. With her, it’s different. There’s no doubt she’s dangerous but Sara Lance isn’t easy to understand. He can’t abide such a blindspot, but there’s still time before the job to do better there.

How I Would Fix Miraculous Ladybug
(A Guide That No One Asked For)
I’m gonna break this up into sections. Universe Rules, Main Characters, Setting, and Plot.
Universe Rules:
1) There is no “adults can use their power indefinitely”. That’s cheap writing. It doesn’t even make the tiniest bit of sense.
- Instead, holders gain more power the stronger their bond with their kwami. This can be either through trust (a slow, gradual process) or through fear. Having a kwami’s complete submission to use their powers is what unlocks their “ultimate potential”. Of course, this potential is weaker if you choose to go the fear route.
2) Guardians do not lose their memory when they give up the box.
- This is something else that just doesn’t make sense to me. Why would they lose their memories? They’ve been committed to keep a box safe just to lose all memory of their hard work at the end of it? It’s pointless and cruel to the characters.
3) There’s no other superheroes.
- The NYC special really upset me because if America has all of these heroes at their disposal, then why are two teenagers the only people trying to stop someone who is obviously a terrorist? Sure it’s in France, but these are supposed to be top-tier heroes like Majestia. And if it’s a “oh well that has nothing to do with them” type of situation then they are pretty terrible heroes. So no, there wouldn’t be any other superheroes. The only way to be a hero was to gain access to a miraculous.
4) Making the consequences of the wish clear.
- Maybe the wish uses equivalent exchange? Or it answers your wish but in a twisted and grotesque way like the Monkey’s paw? Or maybe the wish is something that completely destroys you? By making the consequences of the wish clear, and making it obvious that Gabriel knows just what the risks are, it makes him seem all the more desperate of a villain.
Main Characters:
1) Marinette Dupain-Cheng
- Honestly, I love Marinette’s character. But I wish their writing of her would be more consistent. She’s resilient, clever, quick witted, and charming. She has stood up to Chloe Bourgeois on multiple occasions (something even adults are afraid to do because of her status) and yet she let’s herself get bested by Lila? A practical nobody who’s only power is somehow getting away with lying. It’s inconsistent with what we’ve seen prior. If they want Lila to be a reasonably formidable antagonist and foil of Marinette, they need to make her schemes more believable. Her outright lying and just “magically getting away with it” isn’t good enough writing.
- Also, I’d like there to be more focus on just how much strain there is put on Marinette. Let her show weaknesses and vulnerabilities. It wouldn’t make her a “weak” character, but it will help add to the seriousness of what she goes through all the time. Make her seem a little more standoffish, or tired, or quick to snap. Let her show her frustration. Let this be something that teaches her that it’s okay to ask for help (a good lesson not only for her as a character, but for those watching.)
2) Adrien Agreste
- I’m sorry but it makes no sense to me for Adrien to be as naive as he is. It’s cute, I admit, but it doesn’t make sense. When it comes to dealing with people his age I can understand the social awkwardness. But he was raised around elite adults and high-standing social circles. There’s no doubt he’s witnessed the ugly sides of the glitz and glamor. If anything, it would make more sense for him to be on the slightly cynical side.
- Keep his dorky humor. The puns are cute and lighthearted. He can still come off as being jovial, friendly, and “pure”, like in the show. But occasionally he could let a cynical remark slip, or an eyeroll, or a sarcastic remark that doesn’t “fit” with how he normally acts. Show the struggle of him trying to maintain his perfect image to please his father while also trying not to let himself be turned into another upper class asshole.
3) Gabriel Agreste
- MAKE. HIS. STORY. MORE. CLEAR.
- IT IS LITERALLY ALMOST 4 SEASONS IN AND WE STILL HAVE NO CLUE HOW HE GOT THE MIRACULOUS, HOW EMILIE GOT SICK FROM THE PEACOCK MIRACULOUS, ETC.
- Also, pick what type of villain he is. Is he meant to be sympathetic? Is he meant to be a villain we feel sorry for? Or is he meant to seem so evil that we never even want to think of redemption for him? The show flips between “sad dad” and “terrorist” too much. Almost like they are trying to make him sympathetic but failing miserably.
Setting:
- Obviously it would still be in Paris, there’s nothing wrong with the setting location-wise. It’s more time-wise that troubles me.
- Like... why would Fu choose teenagers when adults (canonically) have more power? Why would he willingly give heroes the disadvantage?
- So I would age the characters up a little bit. It makes more sense to give the miraculous to even a 16/17 year old than to a 13/14 year old. I could see Fu not wanting to trust “older generations”, but 14 years old is a little young to be entrusting the fate of so many people to.
Plot:
- The plot could be pretty much the same. Only as time passes, more people join Team Miraculous permanently.
- It starts off with Ladybug and Chat Noir. Eventually, the akumas become so overwhelming that Rena joins permanently. Then Carapace, then Queen Bee (yes, in this rewrite Chloe would get the character redemption arc). There would still be temporary holders (like Viperion would be for extremely dangerous akumas just in case) whose powers aren’t always useful in every situation. But the main five would all be permanent holders.
- The show actually shows them making an effort to track down Hawkmoth. Of course, it isn’t easy, and it takes them a while to even come up with a method, but they do.
- Depending on how Lila is written, you could even have Hawkmoth defeated somewhere halfway through the series, and have Lila take up the mantle and be a villain even more dangerous than Hawkmoth. Then they’d have the struggle of fighting even more villains all while dealing with the reveal of Hawkmoth being good-ole-gabe.
------
And that’s it :D this is mostly just big things, there are little things I would change too, but this is just the parts I would change about the foundation of the show.

Ohhhh great to hear that, looking forward to seeing Starscream and Sunstreaker tussle when you post then, thanks for the sneak peek! ^^ For another prompt hmmmm, maybe Optimus and Hot Rod from Consortium with either romance or some smart double-team politicking (bonus if those can go together)? I think it was Prowl who mentioned Hot Rod could be a liability, but Optimus thought he might surprise them all, right? ^^
Double-Speak
Having Hot Rod appear from nowhere and drop down in his lap is not an odd occurrence for Optimus, and he must admit, he looks forward to it.
However, such a thing usually happens in private, and never when Optimus is in the middle of an important meeting with various heads of state. Surprise causes him to freeze, and Hot Rod laughs, leaning against him.
“Play along,” he whispers as he feathers a kiss along the curve of Optimus’ jaw.
Optimus curls an arm around Hot Rod’s frame, holding him in place, and effects an air of nonchalance. The six other mechs with their sour faces and their ridiculous demands and their simpering tones stare back at him, eying Hot Rod with clear jealousy before they plant empty smiles on their faces.
“I apologize,” Optimus says. “I believe I missed your reply, Advocate Sterling. Please tell me again the inspiration for the measures you’re proposing.”
Advocate Sterling straightens, but he can’t seem to take his gaze away from Hot Rod’s spoiler, or the long, flashy lines of his frame. He coughs, clearing his vocalizer. “Is it, err, appropriate to continue this discussion in front of your Consort?”
Hot Rod giggles, and Optimus knows Hot Rod all too well to recognize a feigned laugh when he hears one. He’s not sure what this is all about, but he trusts Hot Rod would not interrupt and cause a scene without reason.
“Oh, don’t mind me,” Hot Rod purrs with a wink over his shoulder.
Advocate Sterling flushes. He sits back in his chair, and one of his associates leans in to whisper in Sterling’s audial. The others stare.
“Generally I welcome my Consorts’ presence in these meetings, but you may have a point, Advocate,” Optimus says graciously. He pushes back in his chair and rises, with Hot Rod still clinging to him. “Perhaps a recess is in order?”
“Yes, it seems that would be the case,” says Arbiter Crossroad with narrowed optics and an intense disdain in his aristocratic features. Of the six mechs present, Optimus dislikes Crossroad the strongest.
It also seems the feeling is mutual.
“I’ll return in a moment,” Optimus says as Hot Rod presses against him, one hand sliding over Optimus’ frame in a distinctly inappropriate manner, causing Optimus to grasp his wrist and sigh as if exasperated. “Please let the attendant know if you need anything in the interim.”
He leaves, Hot Rod in tow, and it’s not until they’re alone in the receiving room that Hot Rod unwinds from him and backs away, planting his hands on his hips.
“I trust there was good reason for that display?” Optimus asks.
“Yeah. They’re lying to you,” Hot Rod says, and fishes a datapad out of his subspace, handing it over. “They’re trying to make an ally of you, but all of their funds are going to support some pretty shady stuff.”
Optimus accepts the datapad and skims the contents, his orbital ridges lifting. Hot Rod is correct. How had they missed this?
“I recognized Crossroad. He’d been to my colony a couple of times, offering jobs and creds to mechs who never came back.” Hot Rod crosses his arms, his expression darkening. “If he says he’s wanting to create jobs, it’s only because they’re high-risk, low-pay, and he treats his workers like they’re disposable.”
Anger wraps itself around Optimus. “Did you lose someone?”
Hot Rod sets his jaw. “We all lost someone.” He looks up at Optimus and only then can Optimus see the rage in his optics, the way it ripples through his frame. How he’d managed to hide his loathing around them is a testament to his skill. “And you can damn well bet Crossroad recognized me. You go back in there, and the first thing he’s going to do is call me a liar.”
Optimus tucks the datapad away and gently rests his hand on Hot Rod’s shoulder. “Know that I believe you over him, and it is well-within my authority to be rid of him, should he insult you.”
“I’m not an idiot. I know we have to be careful how we rock the political boat.” Hot Rod leans into the touch, his field soft and appreciative. “He can say what he wants, that doesn’t make it true. Just don’t let it rattle you. Play it -- and him -- carefully.”
Primus.
And they’d worried Hot Rod would be a liability.
Optimus thinks they have not given him nearly enough credit, and he feels at once ashamed of himself for letting Hot Rod’s enthusiasm and seeming naivete color his assumptions.
He pulls Hot Rod into his arms, and Hot Rod goes willingly, a little hum of approval in the action as he squeezes Optimus tight.
“Yeah, that makes it better, too,” he says with a happy sigh.
“I intend to reject their offer, and once they are gone, I will see what I can do about dragging their misdeeds into the light,” Optimus murmurs.
Hot Rod snorts, but there’s no slight in his tone. “Mechs already know what they’re doing, they just don’t care. But if you can make someone care, you’ll have a solid ally in Nyon.”
“While I appreciate the offer of allies, that is not why I make this promise to you.” Optimus tilts a finger under Hot Rod’s chin and presses their foreheads together. “Your friends deserve justice. It’s the right thing to do.”
Hot Rod smiles, small though it is compared to the beaming brilliance he usually has for Optimus. “And that’s why you’re the best.” He rises up to steal a kiss before he wriggles out of Optimus’ arms and gives him a push toward the conference room. “Now get back in there before they start plotting worse things.”
“I will.” Optimus bends down, cupping Hot Rod’s face for a gentler, sweeter kiss, before he drags in a deep ventilation and braces himself, mastering both his emotions and his expressions.
If Hot Rod can conceal his anger, then so can Optimus.
He returns to the conference room, a false smile curving his lips, the air of a mech who has thoroughly ravished his Consort recently and nothing else. He looks over the mechs, and doesn’t let his gaze linger on Arbiter Crossroad.
“I apologize for the delay,” Optimus says in a tone as smooth and unbothered as polished duryllium. “Let us return to business, shall we? I believe we have much to discuss.”

Detective Observations  1
Well @mintyfrosty did it again and now we have 1920s Detective AU and just.. *grabby hands* I didn’t even know I wanted this til it showed up on my dash!
Anyway way, here’s Scene 1 of 3 that sprung up out. Hope you like~
The sun hadn't been up for more than a few hours and already he was being called into the captain's office. He'd turned his last several cases in a timely manner, hadn't rocked the boat, so what reason could there be? Probably not a good one, and he lived by his gut's feeling.
But directly disobeying would be worse, it was never a good idea to willingly throw yourself on Terrance's bad side.
Right braced himself as he pushed open the door. He noted someone was to his left, ignored them and walked right up to the desk to stare at the chief.
"Good, Right. Was wonderin' when ya'd stroll in." The chief grinned and pushed his hat back as he looked up. Oh, the good detective looked like he was in snit, he must've already guessed what was about to happen.
One terse nod from Right and Terrance leaned back in his chair. Keeping things moving was his job and he wanted to see this play out.
"I know you've been working alone for awhile, and I've allowed it out of respect." The chief started, "But it's gone on long enough."
Right narrowed his eyes and growled. No, he'd chased off any partner they assigned to him. He didn't </i>want</i> another after... after... what happened. He was fine alone.
"Reginald is one of the best in the business. He'll be your partner." Leaning back Terrance wiggled a pen in his hand as he smiled. If he could solve two minor problems with this one move he'd treat himself to lunch for being so gosh darn brilliant.
The chief smiled serenely up at the detective when he slammed both hands down on the desk and swore. Spiraling off into a rant about he didn't need a partner, was doing good work on his own, surely he could leave him be to keep working well like he had been.
Reginald fidgeted in the back of the office. He thought he had been doing good lately. Sure he spent most of the time at his desk, but many of the detectives used him to consult on their tough cases. He helped so many get solved by pointing his thoughts or what should get investigated on.
Why the chief felt he needed to team up and get his 'short scrawny self outta the office' was beyond him. He'd given up at trying to understand how Terrance worked, the man veered between idiot and genius in the same day. Sometimes he managed both at the same time, especially if he was leading a raid.
Right glanced over his shoulder at his supposed partner and narrowed is eyes further. No. He hadn't bothered to look at the time he walked in and he didn't want that one. He knew of rumors around the office as much as he wished they didn't try to pull him in for gossip. Honestly there were a few officers that were worse then the gaggle of gossiping grandmas in his neighborhood.
Reginald sighed and hoped this would be over soon, he was swamped. The day had started off plesatly enough, and now he was stuck in a loud awkward situation that no one wanted except the chief. He was about to ask if he could leave to get a drink when the unthinkable happened.
How dare. How dare his mustache was insulted, it had taken him years to get it to it's current magnificence. Marching forward Reginald glared up at the taller man. Curse Terrance for only seeming to pick the tallest and the strongest. Reginald knew he wasn't short but he felt like it some days.
"What makes you think that <i>I</i> want to be stuck with <i>you</i> ?" Jabbing his finger up at the detective Reginald jutted his chin forward, "You're a loose cannon who disappears for days at time without a word to anyone."
"Well you both seem to know enough about each other already." Tucking the pen behind his ear Terrance clapped his hands once for attention. When both fell silent he picked up a toothpick and stuck it in his mouth jovially. This was a good start to his day.
"Right, you can't keep having a double office to yourself, Reginald I expect you to move in by the end of the day." The chief slammed his hand down as the arguments started up and he raised an eyebrow at the officers as he dropped his smile. "Boys my decision is final, now leave."
Wiggling the toothpick around Terrance watched the pair sullenly leave.
He'd finally say Right wasn't alone so the higher ups would stop bothering him about it. He'd get to plan more things his way with Reginald out of the office. Hopefully Right, their best fighter, would manage to keep Reginald, thier worst fighter alive. Yes, he would be treating himself to a great lunch.
<center>~*~*~</center>
Right had made a point to leave soon after the... partnering. Reginald wad skulked into the room with a box of his things and he wasn't going to watch the string bean unpack his things onto a desk that wasn't <i>his</i>.
He had things he could do to take him out of the office. Leads to question, perps to track, diners to eat at.
He managed to go two days without touching foot back to the office. It was early enough the sun wasn't up and the place was empty. Perfect, he could drop off the two cases he solved, grab a couple more and disappear for a few more days.
Why was his office light on?
Opening the door quietly he shot a flat look the the occupied desk. The box was only half unpacked, but the desk was covered in folders and papers. The interloper was fast asleep and drooling over the cover of a folder.
Rolling his eyes Right walked over ad picked up a folder. There must have been ten cases worth of work on the lieutenant's desk, no one could do that much.
Except it wasn't his case.
Eyebrows raising he recognized the name of a colleague. The guy had a good habit of solving things but... it was obvious from this he should go question the family more.
Flipping a page he saw a note scrawled with that very suggestion, and then another to check alley across the street. The darkest place, easiest to ambush with a dumpster for disposal. Better hurry because trash was coming up in two days.
Come to think of it when asked to look over something he did see this particular handwriting often but didn't read them since he was asked pointed questions. Honestly he thought it was a low ranked officer taking notes or doing simple checks.
Curious now Right leaned against the desk and began to flip through more. Lot of familiar detective names he was seeing, some missing obvious leads they should be following up on. Thoroughly feeling unimpressed with his fellow detectives right now he put the stack back down.
The other side of the desk held a few more folders, ones the other hadn't gotten to yet. He shouldn't let himself get sidetracked, he still had to drop off his own work to the chief. Walking over to his desk he began to gather his cases.
The door slammed open, "Up and attem boys! Early bird gets the work ad you're the earliest we got today!" Terrance dropped his foot back down to the ground and surveyed the room. He'd startled both but... oh not again.
"Damn it Reggie, I told you to go home last night. You're going to burn out at this rate." Pinching his nose he glared at the embarrassed lietenant as he peeled a paper off his face. Fishing around his pocket he pulled out a few dollars and dropped them on the desk. "Get breakfast before you visit the scene kid, I know you didn't eat dinner."
Ducking his head Reginald nodded. He had meant to go, but the other detectives had come to visit, commiserate with him about losing his own office, and asked for help with a few cases. Some had been more involved than he thought and time had slipped away from him.
"Right, make sure he doesn't stay tonight." Terrance sighed and questioned his decision to pair them up. He was going to give it two weeks minimum to see how things shake out.
"Oh, and take him with you when you go Right, have a coffee, then head to 31st and 45th. Police will be expecting you both."  The chief absently waved off the two idiots and walked out of the room.
The room fell silent as the door swung shut.
Gathering his cases Right sighed before he turned around to face the... other his was going to be stuck with all day.
"You were going to leave me here after getting more work, weren't' you?" Reginald had swiveled his chair to watch the detective with the most peeved he could manage.
"Mmmhmm." That had been the plan and Right knew there was no point to lying.
The blunt agreement seemed to take the wind out of the lieutenant's sails as he deflated and rubbed a hand over his face.
"Fine, let's get this over with." Swiping the money from his desk Reginald stood up and threw his coat on. Technically he was the higher ranked one and should lead, but it was early, he was tired and still muzzy from the abrupt awakening. Gesturing to the door in the traditional 'after you' he raised his eyebrows at the detective, they had places to go after all.
Right merely blinked. He had expected the other to pull rank immediately and take charge.
Marching out the detective dropped the completed cases in Terrance's bin outside his office and walked towards the stairs after they both grabbed some supplies. Out in the parking lot he made a beeline to his car to claim the driver side. Again he was surprised when the other just... let him.
"Something on the way okay?" Right finally spoke up. He'd already danced the line with the chief but he wasn't going to push more than he already had. He liked his job to stay even if... it was hard sometimes.
He got a curt nod in return.
Most places weren't open yet, when he pulled to the side of the road in front of one of the few places that did look open the parking lot was full. Someone had to stay in the car.
"Got a thermos?" Reginald finally spoke up as he cracked open the car door and stepped outside.
Right had meant to fill it at the station before he left. He knew the coffee bit wasn't a serious order but he liked his morning beverage. The thermos he handed over was a simple silver and green, but it served him well.
"Let me guess, black as midnight?" Leaning against the doorframe Reginald reached out to take it. A ghost of a smirk flashed over his face when the other nodded. Yes, many of the manly men at the office drank it that way. He'd rather not touch the stuff, but sometimes in a pinch he had to.
Ghastly stuff, not even milk and sugar could save it.
Watching the lieutenant walk away Right sighed and leaned back in his chair. Tapping a finger against the wheel he watched the traffic, checked the gas level, and saw the horizon starting to brighten finally. The sun hadn't even come up yet.
It was going to be a long day.
When Reginald emerged he handed the green thermos over before climbing into the car. He tucked his own flask (thank god they had tea even if it was oversteeped) between his feet and started on breakfast.
Right raised an eyebrow at just an egg on toast. No wonder the other got called scrawny if he thought that was a meal.
Unscrewing the top the detective took a hesitant sniff. Smelled like a standard dark roast...
"No I didn't spit in it." Reginald snorted. "I've got to get to know you before I can decide not to like you properly." He took another bite and looked out the window at the even busier diner.
Right shook his head and screwed it back on. Yeah, he could understand that. He just didn't want a partner right now, nothing against the lieutenant as a person.
Checking his mirrors and then turning his head to look the detective pulled back out on the road. He waited til the breakfast was almost done, "Might want to check your mustache before we get there."
Reginald choked down the last  bite and shot the other a look. Reaching into his jacket he pulled out a small mirror and gasped. The left side was fraying and uneven from the right. No doubt the result of falling asleep on it, why hadn't that thought crossed his mind to check this morning.
Swearing Reginald fished out his emergency wax for the dire repair. "You let me walk into the diner like that?!" He shot a incredulous look over at the detective. Really. How could you?
Right found himself snickering despite himself.

What if in earlier seasons, Crowley was written as an amiable ally for the boys, rather than them disliking him. Imagine Crowley being established as “not as bad as other demons” in the Winchester’s eyes, as a semi-reluctant ally who – yeah, on occasion, puts his own interests first, but never directly threatens and even occasionally helps the boys. He’s still snarky, and he can still be an arse. But the boys know that as long as they don’t cross him, Crowley won’t mess with them. From Crowley’s end, that’s because keeping good relations with the infamous Winchester brothers is to his benefit. But then, they start to grow on him. And maybe he’s a little more lenient with the flannelled nightmares than he should be, a little indulgent, rolls his eyes and does a few favors for them. Which only further encourages the Winchesters, and later a less willing Castiel, to view him as a frenemy.
The rest of the early seasons is the same, except now, moving into season 6, the boys are willingly working with Crowley and Cas. They don’t like the idea of opening up Purgatory, but they understand that Hell and Heaven really do need to be taken in hand – and who else are they going to trust to do that? As things start to look really dark throughout that season, the boys start pushing back, start testing their relationship with both angel and demon, and Cas still betrays all of them and takes the souls for himself. And now there’s season 7, with Crowley working with the boys to stop Cas – Dean wanting to save him from himself, Sam and Crowley unhappily planning to kill the angel – Sam because he doesn’t think Cas can be saved, and Crowley because he wants his share of the Purgatory power. Unleash the Leviathans, and now we’ve got the King of Hell working closely and willingly with the boys to stop this new threat. Demons at their disposal, even. Which doesn’t put Crowley in a very good position in Hell, but he pushes on because it’s this or let the Leviathans eat the world. The Winchesters plus Crowley and a now restored Castiel manage to defeat the Leviathans, just as the demons rise up and dethrone Crowley. Hell is a free-for-all, and demons are loose in the world.
Then have all of season 8 be about demon in-fighting and the human casualties along the way. The boys work to get Crowley back on the throne, so he can restore some order. But that also means he’s temporarily dependent on them, in hiding with them from his former minions. Leads them to the Men of Letters legacy, which in turn leads to the bunker. Bring the British Men of Letters back in seasons earlier, alerted to the awakening of one of their old establishments in the States. Throw Abaddon into the mix, providing a competitor for Crowley laying claim to the throne, which would make him more susceptible to the help offered by the Winchesters, and unfortunately to the supposed support of the BMoL as well. By now, Crowley’s an unofficial member of Team Free Will, the boys well aware he chose saving the world (and them) over giving his full attention to Hell, leading to all this. There’s the sense that the four of them – plus Kevin and Charlie, at this point – are all in it together. Maybe even Meg is still around, maybe she’s trying to lead one of the demonic factions, and there is this whole I-care-about-you-but-we’re-on-opposite-sides between her and Cas. Crowley has softened, the same way Cas softened over time with exposure to humanity and the Winchesters.
Of course the tablets and Kevin came into play with the Leviathans. The BMoL reveal they have the demon tablet, and suggest Kevin might be able to find something on it to control demonkind and restore Hell. Big dramatic reveal to the Winchesters only, the BMoL admit that there is a means of closing the Gates of Hell permanently on the tablet – learned from a previous prophet whom, ahem, did not survive their duty – and now the Winchesters are torn between sparing the world from demons and betraying Crowley. Crowley, who is counting on them to help him get his throne back. Crowley who has begrudgingly and then more willingly worked cases with them while they’ve tried to find an answer to all of this. Crowley who led them to the MoL and the bunker in the first place. Who isn’t as bad as the rest of his kind, who Dean likes to go for a drink with and might even consider a friend. And just as the Winchesters decide they can find another way to close the Gates, Kevin discovers the necessary spell, and the BMoLs take advantage that there is a demon close at hand, and snatch Crowley to perform the demon trials.
And by the time the Winchesters race to his rescue – torn, because ending the trial means not closing the Gates, but damn it, he’s had their backs, so they’re going to have his – Crowley is in the last hour of the cure. Tells them to let it happen, let the trial be complete, the Gates slammed shut. His own soul restored. But there’s that whole thing with Metatron and Cas and the angels going on, so of course this is the moment the angels are cast out of Heaven. And Abaddon bursts in, maybe Meg comes to challenge her. And in all the chaos, the cure is never completed, time’s up, too late. The boys defeat the BMoLs, rescue Crowley, escape. Cas is lost somewhere in the world, human after what happened in Heaven.
Season 9 would be almost completely the same – Crowley’s blood addiction, searching for the Mark and the Blade, Abaddon, the angels, all of it – except, the Winchesters actually sympathize with Crowley. They express concern, ask after him, say maybe having regained something of his soul is a good thing. And Crowley is torn, because he can now really feel that affection he has for the boys, and he might very well have the option of a place among them, but also he knows Hell needs a ruler to keep demonkind in line, and he still likes power. The boys help him overthrow Abaddon, help him get clean of his blood addiction. Maybe there’s a scene where Crowley and Meg compare notes – he who went through the cure, and she who cares for an angel, neither of whom really fit with demonkind anymore. And by the time the season reaches the later episodes, with Crowley back on the throne and the boys working cases while trying to figure out what to do about Metatron, Crowley is an acknowledged, secret extension of Team Free Will. Makes changes to Hell, keeps demonkind under tight control, helps here and there on cases.
All of this, all of this headcanon, just to get to the point where the boys are always making side comments to Crowley about, you know, how if he wanted to give up Hell and join the three of them full time, he’d be welcome. Come on, just work one more case with us. Just this one about hellhounds. Just that one with vampires. Just one more, one more, one more. And Crowley acquiesces more than he knows he should. Cares about the boys and Cas more than he knows he should, hates Hell and demons more than he knows he should.
So that by the time the Mark takes Dean and turns him into a demon, it’s not only Sam and Cas that are hurt by it. It’s Crowley, too. Crowley who sees Dean turning into something truly evil, something worse than Crowley himself is now. And he agrees with Sam and Cas that he’ll take demon!Dean under his wing as his second-in-command in Hell until they find a cure, a cure for the Mark as much as for being a demon. Season 10 is all about Cas (who’s grace is fading) and Sam working to find a cure while working cases, and Crowley trying to keep Dean occupied with hunting down rebel demons and the like. He even sends the Knight of Hell after angels, to capture more grace for the fading Castiel. Throw Rowena – as Fergus’ ex-wife – in there, attempting to convince Crowley to share his throne with her, causing mischief. He would feel this deep sense of loneliness – demon!Dean isn’t the companion he was before the Mark, Rowena only wants power for herself ultimately, demonkind hates and is in open rebellion against him – and Crowley is beginning to admit to himself that he just doesn’t have this in him anymore, to be the kind of monster it takes to rule Hell. Maybe Dean even tries to take the throne from him, with Rowena’s help, and the acceptance by the demons of this alternative ruler is everything Crowley needs to finally break from old loyalties and the desire to rule, from demonkind entirely.
Realizing the situation is entirely out of control, Crowley, Cas and Sam work to capture Dean. They convince Rowena, who has now taken the throne of Hell for herself, to remove the Mark, thus removing a threat to her reign. Crowley makes an oath that if she will do this, he will never seek to retake the throne. An enraged demon!Dean is forced through the demon trials, in which he says the most horrible and hurtful things to Sam and Cas. And to Crowley, cuttingly demanding to know why the former king will put Dean through this, restore the hunter’s humanity, but not his own. Crowley doesn’t have an answer. He doesn’t have an answer because he realizes that, once, he would have said it was important he hold Hell, or that he wanted the power that came with being a demon, or that he was scared of facing what he’s done as a demon. In light of everything that has happened – the complete rejection by demonkind and the loss of Hell, the revulsion he feels after the aborted cure and Dean’s own time as a demon, and knowing he has a place here on Team Free Will – Crowley realizes he no longer has a reason not to complete the cure.
And in the last hour of the cure, with Dean almost entirely restored to himself, the hunter understands the demon better than ever before. Tells him, one of these days, it’s going to be Crowley in this chair, the cure coursing through him, the three of them gathered around him, supportive. And Crowley knows he’s right. It’s no longer a question of if – only when.
Once they’ve completed the demon cure, the boys set about removing the Mark, with Rowena’s help. And removing the Mark unleashes the Darkness in the world. In season 11, the Darkness should have been something much more insidious, and dangerous. A force which slithers into people, bolsters the innate darkness that is in everyone, turning people into their worst selves. And it controls demons utterly. They are mostly formed of the Darkness, after all.
And for Crowley and the cure, “when” is now. It is that, or fear turning on the people who used to teasingly ensnare him in “just one more case,” who would embrace him as one of them if only he’d allow it. And now, he’s finally ready for that.

(reposted because I posted on wrong account)
As for my other gift for the @sanderssidesgiftxchange this one is for @snekky-boi and actually my first fic I’ve ever posted.
SANDERS SECURITY
“Clearance?” A gruff security guard in a suit asked the person in front of him. They pulled out a card and handed it to the guard. In the picture the mysterious person was wearing the same dark suit and shirt with an orange tie. Slight stubble spread across their face which was thicker now. Next to the picture was his identity.
Joan [REDACTED]
Head Representative of Sanders Security
Joan looked through their car window and slipped his sunglasses down slightly to stare at the guard.
“We have a problem?” They said smoothly. They were an important person and did not have time for these delays. The guard hurriedly handed back the card, scared of the person who owned it.
“None at all.” The guard hit a button and the gates ahead opened. “Go on through, sir.”
“Don’t call me that.” Joan responded, not looking at the guard.
“Ah… sorry. What should I call you?” The guard was terrified. He’d heard of this person a lot. A mysterious person in an orange tie working for a security company whose guards were never seen, but they still managed to be one of the best in the world. Worse, no one knows how to contact them. They just show up.
“Nothing, I wasn’t here.” The car drove away. Suddenly the guard couldn’t remember who was in it. But it was too late to stop it.
Joan pulled up to the door of the large mansion. They stepped out and adjusted their suit. They had a large metal briefcase with them. A frantic secretary ran up as they locked their car.
“Exactly on time.” The lady said.
“Always am.” Joan started walking towards the doors of the house. The secretary rushed to follow.
“I am--”
“I don’t care.” Joan waved off the lady. She opened the door for them and they entered a large room with ornate staircases and beautiful tiles. A large glass chandelier hung above them and security guards in suits stood at random points around the place. Joan took off their sunglasses.
“Let me take you to--” The secretary tried again but didn’t get anywhere.
“No need.” Joan said as they tucked the sunglasses into their suit pocket. “I know what I’m doing.” Joan strode away with that. They made their way up the steps and entered the first door they went up to without so much as knocking. Inside, a man sat at a large wooden desk with bookshelves lining the wall behind him. The man's neat brown hair matched the colour of the desk. He stood as he saw the door opening, pressing down his dark blue suit.
“Ah Joan.” The man greeted. “I trust Doris showed you up.”
“No, I don’t need a babysitter.” Joan strode forward and stood in front of the desk.
“Well… take a seat.” The man sat back down in his chair. Joan continued to stand and placed his briefcase on the desk.
“No. I won’t be here long, Thomas.” Joan stated numbly. Thomas just stared in awe of the person in front of him. He was contacted yesterday saying that a representative from a company he’d only heard whispers of would be visiting him. And lo and behold here they were, right on time. He didn’t know why but they were.
“Well then…” Thomas was lost as to how to navigate this situation. “...let’s start.”
Joan clicked open their suitcase.
“Sir, someone wants you gone and we’re here to make sure that doesn’t happen.” Joan began.
“I already have plenty of guards; I don’t see how yours would do anything that they can’t.” Thomas interrupted. Joan smirked.
“You’re an important man with money in many places. Surely you have access to the files saying why our team could take down a hundred of yours.” Joan took out a few files. They expected a response from Thomas but he only shrugged. Joan put the files back down. “Our team isn't just men, sir. They’re more than that. We have collected them from instances all over the world and trained them to be more. They’re living government funded weapons. They have abilities you only see in movies and comics. These are living superheroes, and we have them at our disposal… and now yours too.” Joan explained. Thomas laughed. He was convinced he had let a crazy person into his house.
“You have superheroes?” He teased. “Is it expensive buying so much spandex for all the outfits?” Thomas continued to laugh but Joan just stood patiently. Joan picked up a file and dropped it in front of the laughing man. Photos of security footage fell out. Thomas stopped laughing.
“These are of them training. It isn’t edited.” Joan let him know. Thomas picked up the pictures and looked at them closely. Men in dark clothes fought with all kinds of methods. Weapons he’d never seen, blurry flashes of light, things he didn’t even know. He looked up at the person giving him this presentation. “Shall I continue?” Joan asked.
“Yes. Of course.” Thomas replied dumbly. He suddenly knew why this company was such a mystery.
“Each member of our team lives at our facility. They train for nine hours a day, are provided with nutritional meals and top healthcare, and are completely obedient to every command. They’ve trained as a team for years now and even without their, as we call ‘extravagant abilities’, would be able to protect you better than any other team you’ll find.” Joan picked up some more files from the briefcase. “But thankfully they do have these abilities, which makes them all the more better.”
“You officially have my interest. Tell me what they can do.” Thomas asserted. Joan threw a file in front of him on top of the first.. Thomas opened it. There was a portrait of a young boy, he had long blonde hair pulled back into a messy bun. One of his eyes was green and the other was brown, but most noticeably he had dark green scales running down the left half of his face. He was smiling slightly allowing a small fang to be seen.
“Janus, 19. Codename: Deceit. One of our first. He was trained to fight from the moment he could stand. We picked him up after he was born with those things all over him. We call them ‘shifter scales’, he has them all over his body and they allow him to completely change his appearance. He can be a different person or blend into a background. He can even change his hair but we haven’t worked out the why on that one yet. Only thing he can’t change is his eyes and teeth. This bitch also has a silver tongue like you wouldn’t believe; can talk his way to anything and if that doesn’t work he lies his way in.” Joan explains as Thomas shifts through the pictures. There's a few showing the scales and others are of him fighting. In one of the pictures he has scales on his back raised like a scared cat does with it’s fur.
“Sounds troublesome…” Thomas remarks.
“Not when he is as loyal as we’ve trained him to be.” Joan responds. They throw down another file. Thomas opens it. The portrait has a pale woman with thin eyes, she smiles widely for the camera and dimples can be seen on her cheeks. Her shoulders look broad, she looks much bigger than Janus and probably older too. Her hair is cut short and neat.
“Patton, 36. Codename: Puffball. After we discovered her she turned herself to us willingly, she said she was tired of everyone worrying about keeping her secret. She was living as a single mother with a son now in the custody of his father. She has extreme strength, we have seen her throw a car like it's a basketball. She’s extremely fit, we’re yet to find her limit. She also has an above average pain tolerance and takes a bullet without flinching, she also tends to completely heal from anything within a day. Patton worked as a paramedic before she came to us so she has a good medical knowledge. She’s a full on tank, she can take any hit and will return one much worse.”
“Reminds me of my mother.” Thomas laughed slightly.
“She has taken up a maternal role for the team. She’s quite a happy person. A delight to be around really.” Joan’s tough facade didn’t break. Thomas sifted through the pictures, most being of Patton lifting heavy objects or piles of weights. She was smiling in all of them. Joan dropped another file then took more from their briefcase. There were two portraits inside, two men who looked identical. Thomas wasn’t sure if it was just the same man twice but they were labeled with different names. Their skin was a similar colour to terracotta, their curly hair was warm chocolate colour and they both had hazy green eyes. Their features were very sharp.
“The twins, Roman and Remus, 22. Codenames: Prince and Duke.”
“How do you tell them apart?” Thomas asked. He barely could and each picture marked which one was which. Joan laughed hollowly.
“You don’t. They kept getting expelled from schools for bringing weapons but the parents insisted they had none and each time the house was searched it was proved they didn’t. Turns out the twins were summoning the weapons. We got them before anyone else figured this out. We’ve trained them since they were kids. They seem to be able to summon any non explosive weapons from any time period and master it within a matter of days. Ever watched someone take out an attacker with a rifle with a trident? It’s a sight to behold. Remus tends towards bigger and blunter weapons while Roman preferes something more elegant and quick. They also seem to have a telepathic link but we’re unsure if they can extend this to other people.”
“Can they summon guns for my team?” Thomas asked. Joan rolled his eyes, he got this question every time.
“They can’t summon guns or other explosives. Even if they could they can only summon the weapon and not ammunition. We know this from them using things like bows and slingshots.” Joan explained. The pictures on the desk were all of the boys fighting each other with various weapons. Joan threw down another file.
“How many are there?” Thomas exclaimed. Joan stayed quiet. The portrait in the new file was a man with a stern expression. Thomas could see a tattoo etched into the pink skin, the ink just poking out of the edge of the man's shirt. His blue eyes were framed by round black wire glasses.
“Logan, 32. Codename: Teach. Logan was a uni student who was living alone. He dropped out of classes suddenly after he developed some kind of power. He went to the hospital to get a brain scan to check he wasn’t mentally ill and that’s when we scooped him up. He’s extremely smart and can remember anything he reads but that isn’t his extravagant ability. He controls energy in all its forms. The list of things he can do with it is too long. He’s also taken the unofficial spot of team strategist due to him being the smartest of the group. He’s very closed about what he did before he came to us and his emotions in general but he threw himself into training when he got here. He even helped train the younger ones when they were kids.”
“Why aren’t there pictures of him fighting?” Thomas shifted through many pictures of Logan, none of which he was using his powers in.
“Due to the amount and various kinds of energy he puts out when fighting, pictures tend to get pretty messed up.” Joan pointed to an earlier picture where all that’s visible is a blurry silhouette with a bright light. “That’s the best we got.”
“Doesn't seem like a useless side effect.” Thomas laughed.
“And finally.” Joan announced as he dropped the last file. The portrait was another young man. He had dark skin and darker hair. His eyes were large and sad. He looked expressionless into the camera. “Virgil, 19. Codename: Stormcloud. As a kid he was locked up in a psychiatric hospital because everyone in his life kept being poisoned and dying. Turns out he can actually produce poisonus gasses down to the pure elemental level. Mixes them in his lungs and breathes them out. He can control concentration and kind. Some are purely toxic and others are things like anaesthetics or drugs. He’s also immune to all poisons and drugs because of this. Kid had a rough life and you can see it in the way he fights, he’s like a machine.” The pictures of this kid fighting were insane. Each one he looked like he was about to rip out someone's throat with his teeth. Thomas leaned back in his chair. He made a deep exhale as he processed everything he just learned.
“Your team is more than impressive but there is the matter of price. I’m guessing a team like this would not be cheap.” Joan gathered the files as he began to speak.
“Like I said earlier Thomas, we’re government funded. You don’t pay anything. We show up, protect you until we can get rid of the threat then leave.” Joan explained. Thomas quirked an eyebrow. Nothing in his life was free, there was something.
“Really? Nothing?” Thomas questioned suspiciously. Joan neatly placed the files in his case.
“Well not nothing. You see this team is powerful and it needs to be kept secret. So we do need you to keep us secret, or else.” Joan closed the briefcase with a bang, punctuating his point perfectly.
“Alright. Once I meet the team I’ll look at the contract and get back to you.” Thomas spoke with his heart in his throat. These people were able to kill him without any effort, he would do whatever they wanted. Joan laughed.
“You misunderstand. This wasn’t a sales pitch.” Joan lifted the briefcase off the desk. “I’m letting you know that they’ll be arriving today.”

Headcanons for Michael, please?
hMMMM- Gonna be honest, I haven’t given neaaar enough consideration to Michael ASHODAOISHD, I will do my best with this-
By the way, a lot of these headcanons were made in collaboration with friends so like, these are by no means Bovine Originals TM-  I’m gonna tag som people but if someone gets tagged who did not wa n t to be tagged I will take it out and I am sowwy if this happens
What I think realistically:
In between episodes, missions still go on (this has been confirmed by canon at least once I think?), but the missions are a whole lot more casual.  A lot of times, it’s more like a glorified road trip than an actual mission, and this is where Peak Bonding Time with Michael and Kitt happens.  As long as Michael’s not spending the whole time playing Atari, anyway... They wind up playing a lot of games that Kitt rigs with Hax (c’mon now that can’t not be how he swept the floor with Michael at blackjack of all things) which Michael somehow doesn’t catch on to, and they end up at a looot of drive-thrus, much to Kitt’s chagrin.
What I think is hilarious:
Pretty much all of these were made with @trust-doesnt-oxidize, we stan they-
Michael really, really loves his burgers okay?  Like, so much.  Like SO much that if he doesn’t think he’ll be able to go to a drive-thru for a while, he’ll just.  Store one in the glove compartment.  Kitt hates this SO BADLY-  Michael will willingly eat week old food from his glove compartment and it reaches a point where Kitt has to stop him for sanitary reasons.  Perhaps Bonnie occasionally finds one of these highly expired treasures during repairs and loses her mind.
But also our mans is a human garbage disposal, so he’ll eat anything you put in front of him.  He is very not picky, but if he has an option he will choose That Option.
Also Michael continually forgetting that Kitt has access to his own programming and betting him to beat his high score on Atari games,,,
  Michael continually losing said bets.
What is heart-crushing and awful but fun to inflict on friends:
Honestly I don’t think I can ever beat the novelization’s tragic backstory, seriously I refuse to believe that what the heck-
I was talking with @solarcitymelodies and they mentioned Michael being emotionally repressed as a product of the time (and likely his history in the military), which is why he has a very difficult time being emotionally vulnerable.  He plays off everything as a joke, and what he can’t do that for, he likes to project (think “Trust Doesn’t Rust,” where he repeatedly just Told Kitt yOu FeEl NeRvOuS tOo RoIt?! and Kitt’s like ???no??? and Michael’s like uwu I totally get you buddy it’s okay to be scared and Kitt’s like Literally What-).  That one def hurts, and I think it’s real accurate.  Our mans doesn’t think he can be emotionally vulnerable because he’s gotta be Strong Tough Boi and like Michael stop nobody takes you seriously anyway <3
Another one that I love to toy around with is just,,, Michael seems very confused about what the heck Kitt i s.  Like, sometimes he treats Kitt like a robot who just happens to talk, sometimes he treats him like a friend, sometimes he acknowledges Kitt’s feelings, sometimes he doesn’t-- It’s likely a product of inconsistent writing from different teams since Michael’s character was actually progressing quite naturally throughout Season 2 until Season 3 decided to destroy our hopes and dreams. Sniffles.  But like, I feel like he wants Kitt to be a person and a friend, but until he can get himself to really believe it, he can’t really,,, act on it I guess?  It seems like he’s catching on by Season 2, but, once again, Season 3 is evil and hates me.  I like to think that, once the series ended, at sooome point, he’d come to a more confident realization about Kitt, and it’s then that he’d realize Kitt’s own insecurities as a result of being confused about what he himself is based on how others treated him.  And he’d feel at least somewhat responsible for that, so yeah.
What would never work with canon but canon is Stinky Poopoo so I believe it anyway:
Michael realizes that smacking the dashboard as hard as humanly possible is actually abuse, and he stops doing that.
Haha jk that’s too crazy even for this.
This one’s the hardest for me because Michael is such a spazz that nothing feels too OOC for him, so this is more going to be an explanation for why something I love to think, and I think most of the fandom loves to think,,, can’t be canon.  I’m sorry.
Whether it’s after the events of Knight Rider or Knight Rider 2000 *gAGS*, Michael eventually has to permanently retire from FLAG because, y’know.  Aging exists.  And I would love to think that Michael is able to take Kitt with him to live this very calm and “normal” stretch of life, where their friendship can grow and they can be buds.
The issue is idk if this can ha pp e n .
And no, I don’t mean because Shawn happened in KR2000, I literally give zero hoots about what that movie wanted us to think.  The only thing I take from that movie is Kitt’s temporary deactivation for finance reasons, but anyway...
I just feel like FLAG couldn’t afford to DO that.  I mean, it was actually pretty clever that the events of KR2000 were kicked off by FLAG running out of funds because, really, that was going to happen eventually.  In the original series, it seems like Wilton left behind an infinite supply of money based on what Michael is able to do and whatnot, but unless Wilton was the richest man in existence ever, that’s not the case.  Devon still has to host fundraisers for charity reasons, and it’s still highly discouraged that Michael causes as much property damage as he does on a regular basis, because that all comes out of the Foundation’s wallet.  Eventually, that’s going to run out if donations don’t match what Wilton had.  And while repairing a building costs a lot of money, something costs a lot more money than that, and that is the vehicle itself.  I can’t tell whether more money went into the microchips or the cars themselves, all I know is that they cost a LOT of money, like I want to say Kitt was 16 million?  Karr was even more expensive at 20-something million I- I don’t know my lore well enough okAyyyyy- It was a bad enough blow to lose Karr, but FLAG viewed that as a necessary loss which it wasn’t imo but AnYwaY.  Kitt is currently programmed to Michael, but I feel like that would be easy enough to change.  It wouldn’t erase his emotional bond to Michael since I think most of that was Kitt’s own feelings over his programming, but it would allow FLAG to utilize their investment for even longer.
I could see the show taking the happy ending where they’re able to continue to exist together, and any stories of mine will definitely take the happy ending, but it’s not actually very realistic with canon.  Maybe, if Kitt’s programming became outdated or the Knight 2000 was too expensive to keep in good repair, then it could happen?  Idk, lemme know what you think about this one!
