I've realized that Mobius and Loki dating doesn't change anything major in season two. Except maybe Mobius and Brad's conversation, but whatever. And on that line of thought, post episode one they've had a talk and they've been dating the past two episodes. That's why they are no longer the focus, this has now moved on to the Established Relationship part of the fic. Thank you for coming to my talk.

people fr are like "do you expect Loki to always be in armour? 🤨" and I'm here to answer that Yes! Yes I do! In fight situations, at the very least! Take a look at Thor! Take a look at Loki in Thor 1! Or either of them in Avengers 1! Or even - dare I say - Thor 2! Loki's got LOTS of outfits, switching pieces between them and across scenes, even. He goes through the most outfit changes, and they were all cool and detailed and suited to the situations! Even when not armour! So Yes! I either expect him to reflect such bombardment of clothing in the series as well (within bounds of what is reasonable) or armour when he's fighting. Or at the very least for him to be wearing some green.

What the hell is Sylvie doing there?! How did she even know where to go to find Timely?! And, how did she even know what Renslayer and Miss Minutes were planning to do with Timely? Was it because of what Loki said about variants of He Who Remains and now she's gonna be hunting down every variant? What ever happened to enjoying her new life working at McDonald's? I feel like I'm missing some scenes here.

Also, I'm getting so sick and tired of Sylvie blaming Loki for everything. Accusing him of weaponizing Timely, blaming him for ruining her life, and even blaming him for Timely getting away. Like, oh my freaking god, NOT EVERYTHING IS HIS FAULT!!! And, people think they'd make a great couple? No. Not when you have scenes like this.

*sigh* Sorry for the rant, I'm just really annoyed with this character and how she's treating Loki.

Oh yeah, giant ghost Miss Minutes....that was cool.

everyone has these thoughtful reasons and careful media analysis to make their point about why sylki will/won't "be endgame" and thus it's okay (or not) if they argue a bit first and i am slightly ashamed to admit that my entire thought process thus far has just been "well there's six episodes to fill, of course they'll drag the romance plot out as long as possible." :'(

I don't know whether I'll be drawing a Doctor Who crossover for Three Faces for almost every episode of Loki season two like I did for the first season

(I'm not sure how further events on Loki might offer exploitable expansion on my premise that the TVA was set up by renegage Time Lords - or, renegade Time Lords' variants - any further than the first season did)

but I can tell you, the scene in episode one between Loki, Morbius, and Oubie at Oubie's desk is a beautiful dramatization of why Doctor Who shouldn't need to throw out technobabble excuses like memory-affecting drugs or "time fields in flux" to explain why the current incarnation in a Doctor team-up story doesn't remember the current events from the point of view of the previous incarnation(s).

s2e1 is so weird. i feel like there is another layer of plot in this episode

because someone has to give the conspicuously orange Guidebook

that is seemingly not on every desk in the TVA

and which Loki leaves on the observation deck railing

which has later disappeared from said railing

to a very befuddled Casey at some point

so when OB says “there’s one on every desk” the viewer agrees because of course there’s one on every desk, we saw Casey walking around with one earlier

but there’s not

maybe there was one on every desk before HWR remodeled the place…

LET'S TALK ABOUT LOKI'S TIME-SLIPPING & MOBIUS

At his lowest, Loki seeks out Mobius 3 times:

1.) After Sylvie kicks him through the time door. S2E1

2.) After the Loom explodes. S2E5

3.) After speaking with HWR. S2E6

In all three situations, Loki time-slips.

Loki's time-slipping is driven by emotion. Specifically, as O.B. points out, Loki subconsciously time-slips to the person he wants to see most.

S2E1

This means that where Loki's time-slips to in S2E1 is NOT accidental. He subconsciously ends up where he wants to be. Notice with each time-slip, Loki gets better and better at slipping back to wherever Mobius is standing. Look at the progression in the gifs below (thanks @thesillydoll). The distance between where he lands and where Mobius is shrinks over the course of the episode. Loki outright COLLIDES into Mobius upon returning from the past with OB.

In this episode, Loki timeslips to where Mobius could be 3 times. Upon reuniting with Mobius, he time-slips back to where Mobius actually is another 3 times, for a total of 6 times!

S2E5

After the Loom Boom, Loki timeslips to where Mobius could be 1 time and where he actually is 3 times, for a total of 4 times.

Mobius is also the ONLY person for whom Loki doesn't require OB's prototype TemPad to locate and recruit.

S2E6

As many viewers have pointed out, when Loki masters time-slipping (among other time control abilities), he intentionally time-slips to a Mobius who is not yet his best friend. In addition to needing Mobius's counsel, Loki seeks his physical comfort (the handshake, a nod to when they first met). He avoids, as many have stated, seeing present Mobius, who will undoubtedly talk him out of sacrificing himself.

When Loki time-slips to Sylvie, it is in a final bid to convince her to not kill HWR. The bid fails, but Mobius's wisdom regarding selflessness and sparing life stays with him.

Of all the characters, Loki time-slips to Mobius the most, and in all occurrences--unintentional or intentional--Loki was in emotional distress.

Mobius is Loki's safe place.

A/n: Just a little thought I had while watching the new episode of Loki. Requests are open!

Word Count: 844

Pairing: Loki x TVA!Reader

Summary: The three times Loki sees you in the past and the one time he finally catches up to the present

Warnings: Unedited, Season 2 spoilers ish

You were at your desk in the TVA when you heard the commotion of your coworkers gawking at someone in front of you. “Y/n,” a strange man gasped as his hands came to cup your cheeks “gods darling you have to help me.” Your brow furrowed in confusion as you moved out of the man’s grasp. “You have five seconds to explain why you’re grabbing my face and calling me darling before I prune you.” You huffed in response, hand already searching for your weapon. “Darling, it’s me. It’s Loki.” He raised his hands in surrender as you shoved your time stick in his face. “Loki!? You mean the variant I’m supposed to be hunting down Loki?” You raise a brow, charging up the weapon and preparing to use it. Loki looked hurt, defeated even, as he seemed to melt into despair “You-you don’t remember me?” He frowned “I remember it's my job to get you off the timeline so the world doesn’t end.” You spoke as you lunged towards him. Loki was quicker though, sprinting through the hallways as you called for backup. You turned around a corner after him and heard a sort of yelp before you watched him seemingly get ripped from the universe. “What the hell was that?” You frowned as you looked to the men around you who just shrugged in response.

He had been moving through the TVA for a while now, through time more than space it seemed. He felt his body being ripped apart and pulled back together, he kept his eyes closed for a moment before he registered a scream that sounded oh so familiar. “Y/n?” He started hands already up as he approached you apprehensively. He’d had his fair share of run-ins with the past yous now and he just wanted you to recognize him. Maybe this was the actual war that He Who Remained had promised him. A war inside himself every time he saw you and you didn’t recognize him one bit. Didn’t remember the fight you’d put up for Mobius to keep him around, didn’t remember the adventures you’d been on with him. “Please don’t hurt me.” You mumbled and it was then that Loki realized that this you was different from the others. You were younger, the emotions you usually kept steeled away were present on your face, the main one being fear. He took a cautious step toward you “I could never hurt you.” He mumbled, looking into your confused eyes. He opened his mouth to speak again but before he could he was being ripped away once more, his hand reaching out to you as if you could save him.

“Where the hell do you think you’ve been?” Your voice echoed down the hallway as you marched up to Loki, looking decidedly pissed. “Darling-“ He started but you stopped him before he could get to far. “I stuck my neck out for you and then you escape?” You huffed, arms crossed over your chest. “I should’ve just let Mobius kill you after your little movie but no, I felt bad, and this is what it gets me.” You paused for a moment in your rant “And stop calling me darling, it isn’t going to win you any brownie points.” It must’ve been his first day he realized a little too late as you began to slip cuffs over his wrists and drag him back to the room he was held in. “You’ve got the wrong guy.” He tried to explain but even he didn’t know if he would be able to talk his way out of this one. “Oh, so there’s some other you running around wearing the exact same clothes doing the exact same thing as you?” You raised a brow as you shoved him into the room. “Honestly, for the god of lies, I thought you’d be better at the whole talking your way out of things. I mean seriously ‘you’ve got the wrong guy,’ I’m not a child Loki.” You mocked his voice as best you could and he couldn’t help the small smirk that came to his lips, remembering the other times you’d done it in far less serious matters. “Stop looking at me like that.” “Like wha-“ “Loki?! LOKI! What the hell!?” You looked down at the cuffs that had fallen to the floor and sent a message to Mobius that Loki was still at large.

You were walking out of the war room the next time he spotted you “Y/n, I don’t have time to explain but you know me and I need your help.” “I know I know you?” You looked at him confused “I’m more concerned about the whole appearing in front of me as a stringy flesh monster.” Loki breathed a sigh of relief and wrapped his arms around you “I love you darling, please don’t forget me again.” He paused for a moment pulling away to look at you “Stringy flesh monster?” “I’d say that’s a good way of putting it.” Mobius piped up from behind you.

Okay so assuming there is absolutely nothing going on come Halloween night, no ancient threats or out of nowhere invasions or anything, which of the HoM would be up for trick-or-trwating, from most to least hyped?

These 6 would be especially excited for trick-or-treat out of the lot!

Their trick-or-treating would probably consist of them crashing people's homes (enemies and friends alike) to play some harmless (or not) pranks in the spirit of Halloween.

Randy just in general enjoys Halloween and dressing up. Danny is more excited to have Halloween fun with people not from Amity Park (or more like fun to mess with people who are actually afraid/get scared of ghosts unlike most of Amity citizens). Ben and Jun just likes any excuse to mess with people. While Zak and Rex are all up to have some relatively 'normal' fun with a group of friends (something they didnt have many opportunities for when they were younger).

The other three wouldn't mind joining them, but they would be more excited about hosting a big Halloween Party!

Kim, Jake and Jenny always sought out more social forms of holiday celebration, and they really would enjoy hosting a big party, open to all of their friends, be they magical, alien or human. Rex would also be incredibly excited (if not to actually host but to participate in it) because it is another 'normal' experience he never had a chance to get before.

Also can you imagine how rad the party would be???

There is also another thing two of them would be very excited about...

Haunted House/Maze.

Danny and Ben would get into a contest of who could make a better Haunted House/Maze for the party (with some assistance from Randy and Rex).

As I said before, Danny, with all his ghostly powers and expertese would be excited to make a Haunted House for people outside of Amity Park. While Ben would probably rise the challenge to Danny's efforts, saying that he could make a scarier maze.

And the truth is, despite all the ghostly things Danny can do, Ben would make a very decent opposition (and for why, you really need to only refer to Ben 10:AF episode Above and Beyond, that kid can be very sinister lol).

So the party would end up with two haunted mazes, one themed around ghost /spirits /magic, and the other themed around horror movies/sci-fi/aliens, which would fit really well, considering the diversity of their friends. ;D

also i dressed them up like that because

Danny as Phantom, dressed as Fright Knight because i just keep thinking about the dude. Danny as Fenton, a low effort t-shirt because he would be spending more time as Phantom.

Randy as Sorcerer, because despite defeating him, Randy can admit that he was pretty freaking spooky.

Zak as Francis (agent clone boy), because they planned to crash their agency HQ and Zak knew it would annoy Francis.

Jun as Loki of Marvel Variety, because she knows it would annoy Taylor (their universe Loki's demigod son) and it just amuses her in general how popular and different a Marvel Loki is, compared to that Loki she knows and is imprisoned.

Kim as Warmonga, mostly because i wanted to dress her as one of her enemies, but didn't want to go easy way of dressing her up as Shego or Dr. Krakken.

Jenny as Vexus, because Vexus design slaps and i wanted to.

Ben, Rex and Jake went the low-effort easy route (because they are like that), with Jake just freely walking around as Dragon (and people complimenting him on his scaly suit lol), and Ben and Rex transforming freely and whenever the want.

I really hope Timely meant what he said to Sylvie, cause it would totally suck if he did end up evil. But, he was able to convince her to not kill him, so that's progress right there.

She didn't kill Renslayer though. Thought she would, but nope. Just sent her to the End of Time....yeah, that's totally gonna bite her back in the butt. I mean, Renslayer still has her Temppad, so she can get out, right? Or does that only work with Sylvie's device?

And, we even get He Who Remains' corpse which is already decomposing. That's gross, but how time has it been since he died for his corpse to be in that state? Weeks? Maybe a month or two?

Anyway, we get a cliffhanger ending with Miss Minutes telling Renslayer that she knows a big secret about her that'll get her angry. What is this secret? We won't know until either the next episode or any of the episodes after that. Maybe it's the secret that she and He Who Remains were lovers but he had her memories erased along with the others. Or it could be something completely different.

This moment is so sad and so funny at the same time. Loki goes from looking at his brother’s statue mournfully and then says, “Thor’s not that tall.”

Also I love how Loki seems to hate sweet earth food while Thor loves it.
