It’s another busy day for transits with one very impactful one giving us a significant boost.

We start the day with Mars in Scorpio (which is the star of the show today) in a trine with Neptune in Pisces sparking creativity and sensuality making it an ideal time to for romantic, artistic and spiritual pursuits.

The Moon in Capricorn squares Chiron in Aries bringing emotional vulnerability and a chance for self reflection.

Later in the day, the Sun joins Mars in the trine to Neptune in Pisces further enhancing our feelings, really sparking the desire for romance. New encounters could occur during cultural or spiritual connections or activities.

The Moon in Capricorn trines Uranus in Taurus which encourages emotional expression and brings in positive changes and it too will sextile Neptune encouraging even more creative expression. what are your placements by the way? I feel like you’re so knowledgeable about astrology and I wanna be like that too.

I think that the cazimis are very interesting, but just like so many other topics in astrology, they are not usually talked about much (And I include myself here, because I don't remember having touched the subject).

In case those reading this have never heard of cazimis, it consists of having a planet conjunct to the Sun in the same mathematical degree, this of course creating an exact conjunction. It should be noted that this conjunction must occur with a difference of 0 - 17 minutes. Cazimi could be what we call an accidental dignity. Many comment that the qualities of the planet are enhanced and it seems to be very prominent in the life of the native.

Being specific with your question, what I think of a Cazimi Mars is that they are people with extraordinary leadership skills, people who can obtain many good things from independent work. Being a state of an auspicious planet, that is to say positive, I feel that it portends victory in battles of any kind, from the most literal to the most metaphorical. It favors having a lot of energy to go after what you want, although you should analyze the sign and house where it is to better understand how this planet operates.

In case that your cazimi is in an air or fire sign, acting spontaneously may be easier for you and much more comfortable, but more importantly, beneficial. In the case of having it in a sign of land or water, your strategist abilities are enhanced, so acting with a cold mind or at least premeditating the situation can be much more favorable. This of course, as an example.

As for my placements, I don't know exactly which ones you want to know. So I will tell you my big 6. Pisces Sun and Mercury, Taurus Moon, Aquarius Venus, Capricorn Mars & Leo Rising. I'm sure you will be very knowledgeable in astrology, keep working hard. 🤎

I have Sun conjunct Mars at the same degree What does this mean ?

It means that the sun is in cazimi with mars. Tbh it's actually a nice thing to have in one's chart. The planet isn't weakened by the sun's light which usually happens with a normal conjunction to sun (max 15 degrees) but with a 0-1 degree conjunction the planet becomes one with sun, it's essence is melted and encapsulated.

A Sun-Mars cazimi, even if it's in the sign of Libra you have a more Aries like nature; impulsive, fearless, domineering, protective, rebellious nature. A passionate individual who learns to protect their ego, their persona , reputation, status etc from every attack or oppression. Also a strong drive and ambition for whatever your heart desires; usually accompanied by a raw sensuality. Though it's not easy, you may face many challenges and roadblocks (depending on your chart, sometimes you may be the cause of your own challenges), but you're like a cat, you'll always get out victorious, even from the hell, or the most miserable situation. Keep protecting your ego, but sometimes, try to be more tolerant and less focused on your needs and goals.

How to read a natal chart in 13 steps.

This is simplified guide geared towards beginners and people who want to transition to a more traditional approach when assessing a chart. There is no standard method of reading charts, this is simply the method I follow & find most comfortable. It’s a practical, methodical synthesis and just the right amount of intuitive.

Before I begin, I must mention that while assessing planetary conditions I personally verify the following factors — in this order: the sign, house, angularity, direction, whether a planet is direct or retrograde, sect (day vs night), hemisphere (1-6 vs 7-12), phase (morning vs evening, especially notable for venus & mercury), domicile lord (draw a disposition tree if needed), exaltation lord, triplicity lords, bound lord, decan lord, dodecatemoria, aspects to domicile lord if any, aspect to the ascendant if any, apsects to other planets, bonification conditions (i.e aspecting benefics, so supported by aspect), maltreatment conditions (aspected by malefics). This is important to remember because the term “conditions” will come up a lot.

Now onto the actual guide :

1. For starters, you should (assuming you don’t already) learn how to read a whole sign house circle chart. Table charts are nice as a gateway drug, but if you're somewhat serious about learning astrology this is an important transition to make. Once you do, put the chart you’re aiming to assess in front of you, then proceed further.

2. Determine the sect of the chart. This becomes an automatism once you’re used to looking at charts, but if you're not there yet — draw a line on the chart (or visualize said line) going from the degree of the ascendant to the degree of the descendant. If the sun is ABOVE that line — it’s a day chart, so of the day sect. If it’s BELOW that line — it’s a night chart, of the night sect.

3. Take a look at the ascendant. Take note of the rising sign, its modality, & its ruling planet. Does this chart have any 1st house planets? Also, remember to do a quick overview to pinpoint which planets are angular (as in, located in the 1/4/7/10th houses)

4. Track down the ascendant ruler. Check its house placement, condition (see above), and aspects (applying vs separating).

5. Track down the Sect Light. If it’s a day chart, the sect light is the Sun. If it’s a night chart, that would be the Moon. Assess the sect light’s condition (see above), aspects.

6. Check which houses are ruled by the Luminaries (Sun/Moon). The interpretation of the luminaries is intrinsic to the areas of life (Houses) they rule, in addition to their independent significations.

7. Check out the phase of moon at birth. The lunation phase is extremely important as it defines the dynamic between this individual’s luminaries.

8. Take a look at how Mercury is doing in said chart. Condition (see above)? Aspects? Morning or Evening star?

9. Take a look at the Benefic Of Sect & Malefic Out Of Sect (day: Jupiter/Mars, night: Venus/Saturn). Assess their condition (see above), aspects they make, etc. Regarding Venus: verify if she’s Morning or Evening star (if Venus is on the right of the Sun - Morning star, if it's on its left - Evening star). For the Malefic OOC, check if it is bonified by enclosure (i.e : Saturn or Mars are touched by a benefic (Venus/Jupiter) on each sides) — it’s a huge alleviating factor.

10. Then, assess the Benefic Out Of Sect & Malefic Of Sect (day: Venus/Saturn, night: Jupiter/Mars).

11. Then, take a global look seeking anything that may be of note. Stelliums, several retrograde planets, a Cazimi, Out Of Bounds planets, a void moon, etc.

12. Lastly, I go through each house individually. This is where the chart synthesis proper begins. In practice, I like to tell a story beginning from the 1st house & culminating in the 12th, while highlighting the thematics of each house as I go.

13. This is optional, but I like to take a look at annual and monthly profections to see which themes are presently highlighted/emphasized for the individual whose chart I’m looking at.

Astro observations: celebrity edition part 2 aka latest news roundup

⭐️ Dua Lipa announced on her instagram that she's actually a Gemini rising as opposed to Libra. Now my Gemini detector told me that ages ago but I accepted the Libra rising just because it's my default token "plain good looking and polite" sign BUT it actually now makes much more sense in terms of house placements. Her Venus is now cazimi in the 3rd house - house associated with creative writing and thinking. The ever-changing and fast-moving Mercury is now in her 4th house of family and home situation and she's actually been always moving a lot between England and Albania. That healthy domicile Mercury as well as the Sun-Venus conjunction in the 3rd shows her close connection to family overall.

Funnily enough, her discovery took place during Mercury station in her 4th house. Talk about finding out your true roots (astrological, in that instance).

⭐️ We also now have the birth time of Elon Musk, who turns out to be a Cancer rising. Jupiter in his 5th house of children now makes perfect sense with his 11 kids (and probably counting).

⭐️ If you're wondering why Ariana Grande is the way she is, look no further than Moon conjunct Jupiter - aka her 7th house ruler multiply; as well as both being square to the Sun. Usually Sun square Jupiter can point to legal issues and excess while Sun square Moon often points to broken families. Now add that together and you have… a homewrecker, yaaay!

⭐️ I was thinking a lot about Blink 182 and Tom Delonge (his chart resembles mine a bit) due to him rejoining the band last year and now releasing a new Blink album. Natally, he has a retrograde Gemini Mars so I looked at his progressed chart to see the stationary period. Turns out his progressed Mars stationed direct early 2014, followed by progressed Sun entering Aquarius. Early following year the band announced that he left permanently. One of the things he focused on was research on the UFOs and work with the government. Of course, keep in mind progressed Mars stations for quite a while and his issues with the band lasted throughout the whole 2014 so it makes sense that the final split occured a year later. And why Mars? Well it can literally speak about our focus in life and our direction - where we put our energy. Not to mention Mars rules his MC so it brought him a massive turn in his career. So makes sense.

⭐️ Britney Spears just released a memoir book. Putting aside the questionable fact on who really wrote it, it stirred up a lot of drama. Her chart is one big mine but today I'm only focusing on current transits: she just had an eclipse in her first house of Libra. That eclipse landed right on her Pluto, which natally squares Venus (talking about toxic relationships and exposing them). Pluto itself is making last hits to those degrees as well as it's stationing direct in the late Capricorn. Interestingly I think Jupiter being in her 8th house can point to this as well - it lights up all the secrets and talks about working on past traumas. Now, you're also probably thinking, why was she involved with so many iffy people in her life? A lot of things in her chart point to that but what always struck me was her 7th house ruler - a malefic Mars - being in her 12th house of enemies. And it squares Neptune so they're also liars and exploiters.

⭐️ There's been A TON of celebrity breakups during this Venus retrograde season but I'm gonna quickly focus on Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner because their charts are an interesting example. Their synastry is mostly having planets in sister signs but this also means that if one of them gets hit with a transit, so is the other. Involve Saturn in that transit and you get trouble. Saturn is currently in early Pisces, where Sophie has some of her planets in the 12th house (loss, enemies). Her Mars (disputes, cutting) is at 4° of Pisces while Joe's Mars is at 7° Virgo - right opposite that. Saturn transit stirred up some proper drama: and Saturn is also coldness, being restrained and cut off. On top of that they also have their rising signs in the opposite signs of Aries and Libra and we just started having eclipses in those signs earlier this year.

Not to mention Joe's Leo Sun got hit by Venus retrograde and a Uranus square. Among other stuff.

FUN FACT: according to my research they met for the first time in October of 2016 when Jupiter was in Libra. So, interestingly, not only they had Jupiter going through their angles but Jupiter in their Davidson chart is in Libra.

⭐️ Taylor Swift is currently going through her 10th house profection year (Leo). It would make sense then that her career would take a turn this year considering that Venus was retrograding in Leo. Of course as it turned out she had a massive succes with her ongoing world tour, which is said to become the highest grossing tour of all time.

⭐️ A Vogue article popped up about Rita Ora's and Taika Waititi's wedding that took place a year earlier (they kept all the info and date private until now). Jupiter played a huge role in them getting married (as it often does, especially for a couple like them, who have it strong in their charts, which I wrote about HERE). At the time of their wedding Jupiter was at 8° Aries, which for Rita is that sweet spot between her Sagittarius Sun and Venus (4° and 10° respectively) and Leo Jupiter (13°) - as it completed a grand trine in her chart. Transiting Sun was also 12° of Leo, highlighting that trine even more.

Man I love astrology.

For Taika it was pretty prominent as well although his Jupiter aspects were more sign-based. He had a Jupiter return; his Moon is somewhere in the middle of Sagittarius so he received these fire trines as well. Interestingly, at the time of the wedding Saturn was at 22° Aquarius - exactly opposite his Leo Sun but also sextile his natal Jupiter. So for him it had a bit of a Saturnian flavour that called for stability and maturity.

⭐️ Similarly, I just read the other day that Frances Bean Cobain got married earlier this month. She has a Venus-Jupiter conjunction on top of her Virgo ascendant (interestingly Kurt had the trine between Venus and Jupiter - so seems like a family pattern). Also interestingly, transiting Jupiter is currently trining both her Venus and Jupiter (on the day of the wedding it was trining Venus exact), thereby her natal pattern got repeated. Jupiter is also her 7th house ruler.

Her now husband, Riley Hawk is having a nice transit of that Jupiter over his Taurus Moon - and remember, Moon rules the women in your family as well as your wife.

I've been thinking about this for so long and lol at Diddy entering his 7H protection year in 11/2023 and over a week later during the Mars Cazimi in Scorpio, Cassie sues Diddy in federal court over domestic violence and he has not known a single day of peace since. So proud of her.

I know astrologers say it's Saturn, but they don't understand that the Mars Cazimi was literally a Mars on steroids because the planet is strengthened by the Sun and is said to be reborn.

And when a planet is in its home sign under combustion, the planet is in its "chariot," so immune to the Sun's heat. Cassie comes forward and her Cazimi gift is the IMMEDIATE payout. Love it for her.

I would bet that Diddy has Mars as his 7th House ruler because the people he wronged were emboldened enough to begin coming forward. Victims obtaining power.

I am thinking Taurus Rising because it does make sense to me that Saturn rises in his 1st House and Scorpio would be his sign of the year, especially considering that his natal Sun in Scorpio and combust Mercury in Scorpio (2nd House lord) would be activated and fulfill the natal promise of a tremendous loss of money, literally think of the phrase "burning money."

Spiritual and religious communities are just... not getting along lol. There debates on what info is the truth. What is fact from fiction? Many have blocked intuition on receiving the truth happen to also be loud... almost aggressive even. How are everyone claiming to be experts on the same thing or similar yet... can be wrong or in less unity. Especially on spirituality?

Ego death has been heavy. Painful. Society is changing in intense ways and by the many.

Our connection understanding where we get our resources needs to improve.. Respect and gratitude for what goes into us even getting resources is needed as well as more improvements on how they can be less blocked off from the common people.

People's temper is all rooted to seeking unconditional love and yet not understanding how to practice it well. Some of us feel very new at it. Wanting to rush learning before we can truly absorb it at our own pace.

Deities, celestials, and spirits connected to water and storms need to be taken into account. Accidents in the water, water pollution, water based technology, tidal waves, tsunamis, sea creatures, storms, rain, flooding, droughts, showers and baths, laundry, water connected to gardening, and more topics are being affected. Violence on the water or by water is also a possibility.

Sleep is being affected with more aggressive dreams. Arguing, fighting (even physical), even if Sci fi like, are getting frequent. Dreams itself are very disruptive.
