I just had my medical today cuz my college required it...
But what do y'all think aliens would think when they find out that we need to be thoroughly examined (from our history, heart rate & physical capacity, to literally taking blood out of us, checking our liquid body waste, and giving us a x-ray) just so we can get a higher form of education than just the basics?
And then when they find out we also need to be medically examined just to get a high paying work or work in general...

Hey, all!
I've hurt my knee so bad that I can hardly walk. Turning is bad. Stairs are the worst. And this sucks butt because I work on a truck that I have to lift myself pretty high to get onto (like, knee to chest kinda step up).
CVS has quoted me at $140 just to look at it. This is the cheapest I could find. I do not have insurance, nor the money for it or their CVS visit. And that's the preliminary visit. If it isn't the kind of thing they can give me a steroid shot for and send me on my way, I might be fucked.
So. My shop is 15% off through the rest of this month. Code Ouchie666 will get you that price off. I'd really appreciate if some of y'all could help a bitch out. I have no idea what this will end up costing in total, but I'm hoping it won't eat up what little money I have 😅

This neat old knife is called a fleam and it is an antique blood-letting tool. This type of fleam was used in the 1800s to the very early 1900s by veterinarians but medical doctors occasionally used them on human patients as well.
Want to add it to your own collection? It's currently available HERE in my Etsy shop!

Would there ever be a time that Foreign Aliens/Non-Humans would have to be taught that Humanity as a whole doesn’t take well to being treated like they can’t take care of themselves?
Like if we do things known in our biology to cause us pain (spicy food) and the Foreign Aliens/Non-Humans take away the food thinking it’s for our safety, but Humans don’t take well to this.
Having to explain that to Humans, especially adults but even children, we have basic rights that state we can make our own decisions and we’re responsible for our own actions.
To be treated like children as adults, like we have no idea what we’re doing to ourselves would be a huge insult and invasion on our people’s rights.
I imagine it’d make the Foreign Aliens/Non-Humans very nervous to let their new friends/companions/coworkers/etc do whatever they want simply because it’s their choice and they’ll take responsibility
Not all children, adults, people actually follow through- blaming others for their own actions -but in the general populus it’s expected, encouraged, and frequent to be independant and responsible for your own actions
And oh boy, Imagine also having to explain the times of which it’s absolutely expected and encouraged to go against a Humans’ actions/desires!
How a certain amount of alcohol is not healthy, taking medication with alcohol, trying drugs from a planet where we haven’t studied the effects on the human body yet….

Whelp, I've sealed my fate. I've officially paid for my oral surgery (paid for professionals to give me pain 🙃 with a smile on their face)
I'll be having three wisdom teeth removed and a baby tooth that never fell out and is just chilling below it in my gum...so yeah...if I'm a wee out of it in July this is the big reason why
