notes. Hello! Sorry this took so long, anyway I hope you don't mind me merging both of your requests:) enjoy!

You haven't heard from Teru for days, to only visit him and be told he was sick, better yet knew from one of his siblings instead of himself.

You haven't seen or heard from Teru the past few days, not a call or a text notified in your phone for his whereabouts, you were getting worried.

You attempted to ask kou about it, but unfortunately he wasn't at school either, asking Yashiro was also an option but when you did she said she haven't heard from kou either.

And this is how you came to this mess, Kou was somehow cooking yet having a call with Yokoo and Satou, surprisingly talking about homework.

"Kou-oniichan is taking care Teru-oniichan he's got a high fever" the female tugging you towards the stairs told you, dragging out the 'h' in high as you passed the boy in the kitchen, none of you daring to disturb the boy.

"Teru-oniichan is sick?" You asked again despite hearing it already, the female nodded and placed her hands on her waist as the both of you reached the closed door of Teru's room.

"Yeah! he fell down the stairs and Kou-oniichan carried him" you looked at the direction of the kitchen, stunned that kou could carry his own brother, with his whole weight even.

"Well thank you for thanking care of the both of them Tiara-chan" you smiled and patted the females hair, her happily giggling "No problem!"

"I better be going" you told her before she tugged your sleeves, gaining ur attention, she motioned a shh sign with her finger, whispering towards you.

"He's sleeping, we should be quiet when going inside" you smiled and placed a finger towards your lips "I'll be quiet" the female grinned at you before walking away, probably gonna help kou out with the cooking.

With that said, you opened the door, careful for it to not creak, the curtains were open surprisingly the afternoon glow of the sun not waking up the sleeping prince who laid on his bed, layers of covers hugging his figure.

Your lips twitched up at the calm sight of the boy in front of you, until though, you looked at the discarded books and paper work on the floor and bedside.

You sighed and started to pick up the books and paperwork on the floor, arranging them neatly on his desk, before moving towards his bedside, unfortunately, before you could neatly place the paper's on his desk a hand lightly grasped your wrist, startling you in the process.

"Love? What are you doing here?" The grasp on your wrist loosened, prompting to clasp his hand on yours instead.

You relaxed, placing the papers on the desk and sitting on the side of his bed, playing with his fingers "well, a little birdy told me your sick" you lightly chuckled as you frowned, worried plastered all over your features.

"Why didn't you tell me?" The blonde frowned, yet it looked more like a pout with a damp towel on his forehead.

"I didn't want to worry you, plus I'm better now" he attempted to stand up, abruptly stopping as he almost fell down in the bed with the sudden force of standing up.

your arms holding his shoulders and back when you noticed he almost fell down "yeah, better really" the both of you lightheartedly laughed, as your boyfriend sat himself down, wanting to sit with you in the bed instead of laying down.

"So, Have you been taking care of yourself?" Teru smiled at you, observing your movement as you started to wash the cloth in warm water you found laying on the floor.

Teru loves seeing you take care of people, as it is very rare for you to take care of one, the blonde prince wouldn't lie if he says that seeing you attempt to take care of him doesn't make his heart flutter.

But more or less, he feels bad he made you worry.

"Yes, more than you anyway, school gave so much homework though, we also have a test tomorrow" you complained, angrly squeezing the life out of the cloth in your hands.

Teru snorted at you while you gave him a look of betrayal "sorry, sorry, you just look so cute complaining like that" you scoffed as a response, a smirk then laid on your features.

"I want to see your face once you realize how much homework you'll do" the blonde only smiled at your comment, your face shifting from confusion to realization as you looked over the paperwork you were fixing earlier.

"Ughh that's not fair" you pouted as you spread yourself lazily on the bed, teru laughing at you before he sighed, earning your attention.

"Hm? What's wrong?" You asked as you stood up, grasping his hand onto yours. Teru laughed and lightly shook his head "it's nothing, I'm just– well I'm sorry for worrying you"

You smiled at him lovingly wondering how you were able to get this man "it's not nothing, and don't be sorry about it, I'm only worried because I care for you hm? Plus your pretty reckless when it comes to exorsising things its normal for me now"

Teru scoffed, and pouted crossing his arms, his gaze drifting to his katana at the back of the room "That was on purpose, those supernaturals aren't supposed to be here anyway" you tapped his leg, as he looked at you confused until he saw a mokke he let tiara keep.

"Then why didn't you exorcise this cute thing yet?" The mokke jumped as you mentioned about exorcising them, he hid in your neck as it shakes.

Teru glared at the pink bunny before sighing "tiara wants to keep it as a pet so i let her keep it, if not its not supposed to be here"

You chuckled and let the mokke go, giving it a piece of candy as it hopped away, ah yes, teru is your moody little man. "What was that?" The blonde suddenly spoke, eying you curiously.

You looked at him confused "what?" Teru smirked at you, a glint of mischief and hurt on his eyes "you said something about me, could you repeat it for me?"

You eyed him, frowning with confusion, you didn't say anything though? Unless you said your thoughts out loud...

Oh.

"I said your my little prince!" You smiled at him, as though he smiled at you back "that seems wrong, I believe I heard you said something of.." you looked at him curiously yet very nervously.

"Something of?" He moved closer to you, like a villain taunting it's victim, which he somehow doesn't look as sick as he looks earlier "your moody little man, hm?"

You huffed at him "it's true anyway! Who knew boys could have mood swings too! And they say girls are moody when on their period"

With you distracted on your mumbling, you weren't able to realize how your boyfriend inched closer towards you, unfortunately for the both of you though, the time you finally realized it was when he had his nose next to yours, which made you jump in surprise resulting to almost falling off the bed.

Keyword, almost.

"Oh why hello there, you almost fell didn't you?" You grumbled at his arms "ah well mister prince charming I thought it was obvious" Teru chuckled at you before looking straight into your eyes, you starring back at his own as well.

He looked calm, too much for your liking, if it isn't obvious it some, it looked like he was trying to tell you something, yet you ignored it.

"Kiss me" he said in a breathy voice, it seemed sore as well, he's still sick isn't he? It must of took all his strength to balance the two of you, more so, you just sitting on the wood frame of the bed.

Just at the same moment, the door opened, revealing another blonde holding a tray of food, a shorter one stood beside him, a two empty glass cups in hand.

And before any of you could utter a single word, the male blonde in the doorway beat you to it "we should've called (name) earlier so that you won't lay there the whole day" another voice chirped in, it was in a higher pitch humming in approval before speaking.

"Teru-oniichan just needs a magical kiss on the lips!" Before shuffling was heard and the door clasped shut, no room of argument was given as the two of you still stared at the closed door that once held the two younger Minamoto's.

Teru turned to look at you, a goofy smile on his features "so? My kiss?" You sighed at this, and prompted to kiss his forehead instead and stood up to grab the food of tray Kou left for his brother.

You could feel Teru's pouting stare piercing through you, if looks could kill, you would be in bed right now, kissing the heck of your boyfriends face.

"Once your better alright my prince?" You told him as you took the tray and faced him. You were expecting a pouty Teru yet it seemed his expression shifted to a more amazed yet loving stare.

"Alright, I love you, you know that right?" You stayed silent for a while, before a smile lifted up to your features.

"I love you too Teru"

Ushiwakamaru at Gojo Bridge

This drawing took me quite some time. Actually, I was making this at the same time I was writing the report for my quals, so I almost went mad lol

But it was pretty fun! I always wanted to explore late heian aesthetics and fashion in a drawing, and I'm happy that I finally did it. The original size of the canvas was 200x300 and I used a big palette of 80 colors this time!

Fox Sorcery Series Discussion

Note: This series contains homosexuality so don't like don't read.

I going to continue my discussion with the Fox Sorcery Series. As I said before, Seimei is telling Andre about the events that occurred during his lifetime in 10th Century Japan.

The citizens in Heian-Kyo hated Seimei because he was a fox hanyo (half-fox yokai), but they depended on him for exorcism. They do lust after Seimei though as chapter three of the 3rd book in the series, "Eternal Fox Sorcerer" said that Seimei wore a mask because men and women were enchanted by his looks.

Emperor Kasan asked Seimei if he was interested in being in a relationship with him, but Seimei looked clueless when he asked him that because I think that he doesn't want to be the Emperor consort or concubine. Also, I am imaging if he agreed people would say that the son of a fox bewitched and seduced the emperor and I am kind of skeptical that the Emperor truly loved Seimei like Andre as he believed Doman when he said that Seimei cursed him.

Also, it is unknown if Andre is a direct descendant of Emperor Kason or not, but his mother is from the Minamoto Clan, which is a surname given to Japanese Imperial Family Members who are excluded from the line of succession.

Predator vs Samurai 

After the premier of Prey (2022) which is set in the 1719 showing a young Comanche warrior, Naru, who protects her tribe against a Predator, fans have been asking for a similar one which is set in Feudal Japan starring none other than Hiroyuki Sanada as a Ronin fighting against the Predator. Each with their own theories of how or what the plot might be and how the story unfolds.

Interestingly, there is already a short story titled, Three Sparks, which is published by Titan Books in 2017 as part of the anthology Predator : Predator: If It Bleeds. Set in feudal Japan, the story follows a disgraced former samurai named Nasu Hiroto, who is offered a chance at redemption if he will hunt and kill the mysterious demon that is slaughtering all who come to face it.

The story that I will tell you is a mix of history, legend and what the book says.

The story is set in the aftermath of Genpei War (way before Ghost of Tsushima). After the defeat of the Taira by the Minamoto which changes the course of Japanese history with the establishment of the first military rule of the Shogunate, Nasu Hiroto, hero of the Battle of Dan-no-ura, retires from being a Samurai, probably weathered and disturbed by what he had seen.

The Battle of Dan-no-ura, is a tragedy where the Taira were outnumbered and cornered into the sea by the Minamoto where the men and women chose to drown themselves into the sea to avoid capture, each believing that they have a new capital under the sea where they will go to. There are legends of vengeful spirits of the Taira haunting those who venture through the sea since.

In the book while the main character, Nasu Hiroto is fictional, it is likely that he is based on the actual hero of battle of Dan-no-ura in history, Yoshitsune. But since Yoshitsune died after the battle, in the book it is shown that he retires but called back into service by the Shogun, Minamoto no Yoritomo, who does exist in real life, being the first Shogun to establish the first Samurai rule.

Abandoning his post as a Samurai is considered dishonourable, so the Shogun initially wanted to execute him but is willing to forgive him if he were to mount an expedition to investigate of the rumours of random killings by a terrifying Oni (demon) that is terrorizing the Aokigahara Forest, which is an actual place near Mount Fuji, known as the suicide forest today.

Nasu Hiroto and a young arrogant Samurai, Ashikaga Motokane, set off to find the Oni that is supposedly large and strong, kills with blades and bolts of lightning and can even render itself invisible at will. Ashikaga is skeptic of the tales told by the villagers as none of them were killed except the Samurai, which led him to believe it is a plot by the peasants to oppose the Samurai rule.

The war veteran Nasu Hiroto however, believes there is more than meets the eye as they venture further through other villages and deep into the forest.

If they were to make a live action movie of this book, I think it would be interesting to see them throw in more actual history and legends. The opening scene could show Battle of Dan-no-ura and then the story moves into few years later where there are random sightings of demons across the lands, some said to be the curse of the vengeful spirits of Taira against the victor, Minamoto.

Or perhaps the Samurai and Lords being killed randomly might be speculated to be the works of the Ninjas working for the rival Clans who are against the Minamoto rule or still support the late Taira and so on. It was only until Hiroyuki Sanada’s character was called by the Shogun to investigate that he realizes something else much worse beyond our understanding is at play.

While there are countless fan art of Predator clad in Samurai armour, I think this look is the most fitting of all as it has the demonic look with a Kabuki mask. A figure which you can easily mistook as any demon or deity you might see in some Shinto shrines in Japan. I also like that the story is set during Heian Period where there are countless of folktales involving ghosts and demons.

Either way, I would very much like to see a Samurai vs Predator movie!

Kurama: I said Orange, not Pear (pear is pronounced 'nashi' in Japanese, which is also pronounced the same as the word for 'no/not'; Yoichi's original line is "This is not the time" which in the context of the conversation can also sound like "Pear would be better in this case").

The kid's name is actually Izumi, btw. It's taken from the place name Hiraizumi, which is where Yoshitsune's territory is based out of. Kurama also got his name from a place, which is Mt. Kurama where Yoshitsune was left as a child.

My comments on Jikokuten About Seimei

I going to assume that Jikokuten was trapped in the Six Realms since prehistoric times because of his remark about Seimei not being a kin to Susanoo or the other deities. Even if Susanoo and Amaterasu are not siblings in the Onmyoji Mobile Game, Orochi just said in the Millenial Guardian Event that Amaterasu was Seimei's ancestor and depending on what version of the myths you go by Seimei is a descendent of one of Susanoo's offspring although the Onmyoji Mobile Game might not follow either one of them. Also, the clans that appeared in the mobile game were said to be descendents of deities in the myths. The Minamoto Clan were descendents of Amaterasu just like the Abe Clan and the Fujiwara and Kamo Clans were descendents of Ame-no-Koyane and Kamotaketsunumi no Mikoto respectively; however, that information is so vague in the game. My point is descendants are kins even if they are mortals.

Also, in some versions of the myths Ame-no-oshihomimi is both Amaterasu's and Susanoo's son

Yoshitsune (Ep 32)

Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Lady Yoshiko are brother and sister who are separated by war between Heike (Taira) and Genji (Minamoto).

He last saw her as a child but now sees her again as a grown woman but on the opposing side of the battlefield which breaks their hearts.

Even though they are “enemies”, they could not find in each other’s heart to hate the other as they are still siblings with the same mother.

shogun!ryomen sukuna who earns his title after defeating the great minamoto yoritomo. despite being a nobody from a know-nothing clan, sukuna manages to manipulate quarrels between the recent shogunate and the imperial court with his assertive attitude and impressive rhetoric. it isn’t easy though. yoritomo is cold and cunning and wise beyond his years, but it takes one to know one. after many heated debates, sukuna successfully ostracizes yoritomo in a period of stalemate and assumes the title of shogun.

shogun!ryomen sukuna who defeats the remaining imperial forces and achieves complete control over the country, effectively reducing the emperor’s family to nothing more than a symbol of sovereignty. although he tells the population that the shogunate is lower in status, it’s nothing more than political propaganda. the shogun possesses more power in all facets of japanese society, from trade to judicial functions. in addition, sukuna sells lands to samurai who fought fiercely in the genpei war to garner more support.

shogun!ryomen sukuna who demands every single family to send a daughter to his estate for choosing. the order alone leaves fathers outraged and mothers crying, but resistance to the shogun is a crime punishable by death, so families concede to his demand with tear-stained cheeks. normally, sukuna isn’t picky with bedding women so long as they’re a good fuck, but now that he plans to create an heir with one, he refrains from sticking his dick anywhere he wants. he needs to play his cards right.

A Heian Era Affair

CHAPTER - 1

The bamboo trees rustled as the cool wind blew, almost hauntingly as if carrying a message from another side of the world. Wiping your sweat with a ragged cloth, you stumbled and walked while carrying a bucket of water to your old wooden house.

It was hard to make a living, the minister of your area was evil, exploiting the people to death, and raising taxes beyond what people could pay. It was a nightmare- no worse at least you could wake up from nightmares but what about reality? can you wake up from it?

Sometimes you wanted to barge in and rip his head off. Too bad you could not, the guards were too strong, and with your strength you doubt you could ever survive.

Sighing, you returned to the river to fill your bucket again.

You had just bent over when a strong gust of wind started blowing out from nowhere, the trees shrieked as the water rippled- throwing you back 10 feet away with a slam- making you hit a tree. The sharp pain made your back go numb. As you tried to get up staggering- the wind kicked up a notch increasing it's speed and power like a cyclone. Your eyes widened in horror as you looked at what was happening- a big black hole appeared in the middle of the river; with water distorting around it and floating up defying gravity.

"What on-"

Before your brain could comprehend what just happened, a white-haired man flew out of the hole towards you, slamming into you-

Bang

Opening your eyes, you tried to get up, but- found the man on top of you, your legs intertwined together, he groaned as he tried to stand

"Ugh"

His voice was deep causing you to freeze a moment, but you came back to your senses and pushed him off

"Who are you!? You demon!" you screamed as you looked at him

"Me? Ah I am Gojo Satoru and no I am no demon, it's the first someone has called me a demon! sure I might be tall but it does not mean I am a demon haha~" he smiled as he looked at you helping you stand up

"What-!? but you j-"

"Do you know where this is? I am a bit in a hurry"

"This is Mizushima village…."

He paused

"What?…. since when did we have a Mizushima village in Japan? Isn't Mizushima an Island!? which prefecture even is this?"

"Prefecture? Our village is part of the Minamoto Clan on the West side"

He paused longer this time

"Minamoto Clan?…"

"Yeah"

"eh?" he froze as he cocked his head to the side

"For real?"

"Yeah"

"I….what-what era is this?" his voice trembled a bit

"This is the Heian Era…the year is 1185…" You looked at him as he stood grounded on the spot contemplating the meaning of his life

Now that you observed him, he was wearing weird clothing the fabric was also very different from what you had ever seen, it was so smooth and very different from cotton- almost otherworldly

"Is he a noble? from Heian-kyo?", you thought to yourself and backed away a bit

"I am…1000 years in the past oh shit"

"Shit? What does it mean? which part are you from? your Japanese is very weird" You looked at him even more confused, even his accent was weird and some words he used were different

"Ah…." he looked at you struggling to explain

"You see…I am from the future more than 1000 years from the future, I know it sounds absurd but..it is the truth" he looked at you seriously meaning every word he said

"Huh? What-what bullshit are you saying? Are you a psycho? possessed?" you looked at him bewildered

"What is bullshit?" he looked at you confused

"I-I am leaving; good day to you, to ask what bullshit means I- you should find a priest" Picking up your bucket you hurried away wondering why you always met weirdos

"Wait-!" he yelled but you turned deaf to his words and ran as fast as your feet allowed you to.

You ran as fast as you could but he appeared in front of you almost like magic

"Please listen to me! I am not lying!!" he grabbed you by the shoulders frantically

"I really am from the future!"

"You freak let go of me!! AHHHHH!" you punched him doing little to no damage and screaming

This continued for some time, you running and him teleporting wherever you were it went on for a few hours and soon both of you sat panting on the ground

"Man…you sure got some stamina.." he wiped the sweat off his forehead simultaneously removing the blindfold

You froze- his eyes- were breathtaking; looking into them your heart exploded like fireworks, so serene, it felt like you were looking at the sky itself. You had never seen such eyes ever

How can someone be this good-looking?

"What? too captive by my looks~ Ah I guess even in the Heian Era I am attractive~" he leaned in with a smirk causing you to look away blushing crimson

"Who would!? you demon! Get away!"

He pouted a bit disappointed

"H…How do I believe you are from the future? And your powers? What are you?"

"I am a sorcerer from the Gojo Clan and…as for how I am from the future…" he scratched his head

"Got it!"

He smirked and took out a weird looking box and opened it

"Here try some, I bet you have never eaten something like this! It is a cheesecake that too from a very famous shop"

With swift movement from his hands, he put the cake in your hands, its scent was sweet, it was jiggly- even a bit liquid-y making you wonder if it was poison

"You...you sure humans can eat this?" your hands trembled as you held the plate

"Yes, it is! here~" he took the fork in his hands and ate a small bite of the cake- grinning

"Ah it really is good~"

Seeing him eat it and look so elated you also wanted a bite- how bad could it be? with a gulp and sharp breath you took a bite- a bite so good it made your eyes light up-

The flavor was exploding in your mouth, it had a rich and creamy flavor with a slightly tangy and sweet taste. The texture was smooth and dense melting in your mouth it felt like heaven.

"It must be so expensive....even in death I doubt I could eat something like this.."

He paused for a moment but then a smile crept up his lips

"Eh it was nothing just enjoy~" he winked

"You should see your reaction~ now that's a nice expression! It makes me wonder what other reactions you can make if I gave you other things~" smirking he leaned in his breath inches away from yours

"So...Do you believe me now?"

"....Yeah" nodding you took another bite

"Yay! Thank you~ please look after me from now on~"
