Every now and then I get feelings over the way in MK9 Liu Kang goes from starting the game by being like "You should have more respect for Lord Raiden >:[" after Johnny Cage makes a passing comment about Raiden's hat, to then ending the game with Raiden pleading to him "Have faith in the Elder Gods, have faith in me" only for him to scoff and brush Raiden off before they have a fight to the death. Just ah!! The emotions!

Medusa!Reader and Shang in Mortal Kombat 1 Part 9

Spoilers for Mortal Kombat 1 Story Mode: Proceed with Caution

As you expected, you started to gag the moment the door to Shang Tsung's True Laboratory opened. However, what you didn't expect is learning that Earthrealm's protector and God of Fire, Lord Liu Kang, was a Titan that created existence as you know it! As if that isn't enough, some other Titan named Kronika made it so you too were a mistress of the vilest magics and married to the vilest Sorcerer to match, Shang Tsung.

Yet, it got worse when I learned that in the previous timeline, you took control of Sindel's body and made her do the most despicable acts imaginable. You noticed how your Empress glanced towards you when Geras showed her this vision, shock just as apparent. You had no words.

Liu Kang then tells you and Sindel how she was now meant to be the Empress of Outworld who ruled firmly, but fairly. With you as her loyal friend and a compassionate Healer to all. The former Titan then explains how you were never meant to become monstrous, how it was outside influences that have affected this timeline so that Shang Tsung, Quan-chi, and Shao became the villains they were once more. Yet, thankfully, they weren't able to influence you to join them.

That's when burst into Shang Tsung's laboratory with some of his soldiers with Nitara and Rain at his sides. You crouch down into a fighting stance with your sickles out and ready to rip and tear; while internally cheering on Sindel as she angrily reprimands Shao. Your snakes hissing and writhing as they leaned toward the General's direction, eager to bite. You and the snakes let out a hiss when Shao pulls out an amulet that shined brightly with unholy power. You managed to duck out of the way when a beam of red shoots out from the amulet, sucking Mileena, Kitana, Tanya, and Geras into it. This broke the camel's back, causing a full-out melee to take place.

You and Li Mei immediately partnered to take on General Shao. Although the latter has certainly learned a few things from his last fight with you, such as keeping his eyes purposefully closed or using the reflection of his ax to fight you, specifically aiming for your neck with his ax. Honestly, you probably would've loosed your head multiple times if it weren't for Li Mei pushing and pulling you out of the way. Unfortunately, General Shao manages to slip away from both of you long enough to make an attempt to use the amulet on Sindel. That doesn't happen since Li Mei kicks the disgraced General in the head hard enough to send him to the ground, with you following up with a stab to his solar plexus. This causes Shao to drop the amulet right into Sindel's hand.

With the amulet secured, you follow Li Mei and everyone else out of the lab. Not surprisingly, you're soon pursued by more of Shao's loyal soldiers. After Lord Liu Kang held the initial group back with a blast of fire; you follow it up by ripping off your mask to turn the soldiers attempting to sidestep or go under the fire, into stone; with Sindel finishing them off by unleashing her banshee shriek into the stone ceiling, causing it to collapse on the soldiers.

More of Shao's soldiers, including his loyal second-in-command, Reiko, were waiting for all of you in the upper level. You again partner up with Li Mei, this time to take down Motaro. As Li Mei occupied him from the front, you were able to sneak behind the centaurian and jump on his back. This did not make Motaro happy at ALL, as he simultaneously attempted to throw you off him and stab you with his bladed tail. However, you've been doing this sort of thing for moons when handling rage-blind Tarkatans! You bite deeply into Motaro's neck, however with only enough venom to hopefully paralyze him, as you hope to save more of it for later. Although, even sluggish, Motaro still put up a fight until one well-placed kick from Li Mei knocked him out.

The fight isn't over yet as you then had to fight alongside Sindel to take down Rain after he knocked out Li Mei with a powerful burst of water meant for the Empress. The latter also shares your deep disappointment in the High Mage.

"He disappoints us both, my Empress... I still remember the eager young boy who often stayed in my workshop for hours with a hunger for knowledge."

You soon showed Rain that you haven't actually taught him EVERYTHING you know about water magic. Unlike most of your opponents thus far, you refrained from giving Rain a lethal taste of your venom or blades. You internally scold yourself for being so soft, even though you know it's true. This fact is reaffirmed when rather than fighting with Li Mei and Sindel against Shao, you instead quickly attended to the Umgadi priestess Shao cut down. You hastily grab the nearby medical supplies to save them, although only one of them was still alive since the other died instantly from having her skull split open. Your steady hands worked fast to clean the wound, stop the bleeding, disinfect, and finally wrap and patch up the deep cut. Before you then get to work for the other Umgadi and Constables. By the time Sindel finally took down Shao and removed his forces from the building, lord Liu Kang was able to free all those who were trapped in the amulet.

You gave a smile when Sindel embraced her two daughters, sharing the feeling of immense relief that they're unharmed. Although, as Lord Liu Kang would remind you all, there's no time to waste to save the realms. You agreed and gathered all of the medical supplies Shang Tsung had lying around before embarking with your Empress. her daughters, and the others.

MORTAL KOMBAT 1 Thoughts Pt2.

Continuation from yesterday

Chapter 6

They keep switching between Bromance and Romance for Kenshi and Johnny. Which one is it now???

I adore Johnny being protective of Kenshi, and Kenshi holding onto him while walking.

The way reptile switched from human to lizard, makes it look like he is not actually shape shifting, merely casting an Illusion to seem human.

Nitara is hot and all, love the design, but....who thought it was a great idea to have Megan Fox voice her? No shade but the voice acting is pretty awful.

Kenshi trying to run in with Sento but is pushed back in a comedical way by Ermac SENT ME. I felt so bad but I couldn't stop laughing.

Sento activating in this fight was pretty cool, I will not lie.

Not Jerrod shouting out for Sindel😭😭

Chapter 7

I wonder why Liu Kang didn't get fully rid of Krusty Kronika. Just because he is playing god now doesn't mean she's any harmless. But also wasn't Kronika fully destroyed?

Johnny and Kung Lao trying to knock out Quan Chi in the middle of the street while dressed up in those carneval suits was a sight for sore eyes.

This entire chapter is full of comedic bits, and I'm here for it. We need more stuff like this.

Chapter 8

I like the implication that some things are inevitable, no matter how you think you shaped things differently.

I enjoy Geras and Liu Kang s friendship a lot.

So Liu didn't intend for Kronika to be alive in this timeline after all.

"Father" Is smoke now Bi-Han and Kuais brother??Was he adopted adopted??

Aight but am I the only one who thinks Smoke looks like Elon Musk? Like, for real,, it's freaking me out.

I know Smoke is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal but I keep hearing Troy Baker.

That manipulative parallel from when Shang Tsung was a Merchant still was very clever

Chapter 9

Okay crazy theory, but what if Kronika isn't Kronika, but Alt Shang Tsung in disguise???

Why am I not surprised by the betrayal. Still having hopes that Bi-Han is just bluffing to save Kuai.

Kuai being out for blood is really entertaining. That melting sword scene was so damn cool too.

Scorpion being affected and literally burned by heat somehow doesn't make sense to me. Especially with Subzero seemingly not being harmed by frost and ice. Also Havik recovered from that melt off really fcking fast. Bowing down to you, king.

Bi-Han literally showing up from behind the cold wind was such an amazing entrance. I was even jumpscared a little.

5bucks that new course is the Shirai Ryu

Chapter 10

If the second timeline the ending to aftermath where Shang Tsung won?? If so, that is the coolest decision NRS has ever made so far.

Li Mei is so pretty. I adore her so much.

Have y'all noticed how weird the run animation in this game is. It's so awkward and looks half-assed.

Mileena is such a good fighter but I hate how much she is being babied. I know it's because of Tarkat, but it's kinda silly.

Lesbians

I am very amazed with the character design improvement in this game. I thought MK11 was already damn pretty, but MK1 really put the icing on top. There are so many fine details in the environment and outfits, I am eating this up like desert.

Will hopefully finish the rest of the game tomorrow though! Last and Final thoughts coming in soon!

And Sara fucking goes "how can all these bad guys be here and they don't bother to include Quan ch...." literally as he steps out the portal. She's half way through the name when he shows up

Fucking lost my shit. She's pretty sure she didn't hear me just the green portal reminded her of him but the timing was so goddamn good

I was legit crying. We had to pause

So in short, my sister is fully engrossed in mk1 stort. She hasnt played story mode with me since 9 so I'm hoping i can get her to rewatch the 9-11 trilogy with me cause watching her watch 1 has been hysterical. We are on chapter 6 so if anyone wants more of this ill post more next time we play

She also watched shang tsung being a smug bitch and commented: "i thought I'd say no to him, cause he's an awful bastartd, but no. I'd tap that if he showed up."

This is mostly for me to look back on and see the moments that I caught my eye. Nothing analytical. I offer nothing to the table

I'm also a visual person so there's a lot of screenshots x

I'm so glad the opening credit is animated. Usually I have to put my phone down to enjoy the theme song without being spoiled. Plus it's so pretty

2. There's so much CGI, it's making my head hurt.

5. Some of these moments give me sci-fi vibes. Is this not technology?

30. I like how he looks back at where Li Su Su was levitating seconds before getting zapped somewhere. Gives me the feeling that he might also travel back in time to stop her. Might disrupt Ye Xi Wu (Li Su Su) and pre Devil God Tantai Jin's relationship. Have a love triangle with himself. He might be jealous their relationship, wanting her for himself. Similar to that one extra scene in SVSSS. Just a thought. The background music adds to the tension.

31. I keep comparing him to Luo Binghe like I did in my first post about this drama 1 or 2 years ago. There are a few similarities between them as the drama continues.

I'm splitting Episode 1 into 2 parts cuz I said too much for the first 27 minutes of this drama. The first episode felt too rushed to me. Maybe that's just me but the pacing gets better afterwards.

Hopefully I write less in my other review posts. I struggle with being concise so probably not.

5: between the duo, who’s the better gamer? Or are they both equally good?

6: if the answer above is equally: the duo play five rounds of any fighting game, the loser gets stinkfaced by the winner, or since they both “dislike” gross out humor, I say Jon or Kon does it instead.

7: not a question but new powers for the duo:

Chris: I saw a ghost au from you earlier & think that’s pretty cool; he’s able to become intangible by sending his real body like kamui from naruto. He also has a transformation Similar to Naruto’s nine-tails charka mode, but blue.

Jake: At full power, he creates a massive tamaran warrior made of out starbolt energy that surrounds his body like how Superman did a few action comics books ago

Oh…ah well at least it was a nominee which is what truly matter lol @gothicghost2000

But anywho, onto our main program….

1) Oh yes they will but each with unique twists to them. Chris for instance based his on the Fortress of Solitude while Jake makes a gingerbread Titans Tower. And they’re big ones too, easily covering about half the dinner table in terms of how big they are. They thankfully take pictures of them before they gobbled up entirely by the end of the week.

2) I say the Duo will be fans of that show ever since way back when it used to be under the Screwattack under website. Their favorite matches from have been Guts (from Berserk) vs Nightmare (from Soul Caliber), The MegaMan Battle Royale, and Mario vs Sonic II.

3) Hmmm…..

Nightwing Phantom (Chris Kent) vs Son Gohan (Cell Games Saga, Dragon Ball)

Three Way Match: Skybird (Jake Grayson) vs Sarutobi Konohamaru (Shippuden Era, Naruto) vs Dai (Post Second Battle with Baran, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai)

4) Lois would be rather intrigued and genuinely curious about this trend going on. A tad bit of concern once the boys are into it but not on the same level as Clark is.

Speaking of whom and putting it a bit mildly, he’d be very concerned. He’d use his super speed to quickly wash that paint off the boys’ faces and then fly over as Superman to ICP’s place for some questioning. Don’t worry he doesn’t use the red eyes as he’s not entirely there to intimidate them. But that doesn’t mean he’s not exactly in the best mood when asking.

5) Chris and Jake are just about equal in their gaming prowess on many fields and types. The only game genre that Jake beats Chris in will City Building simulators including but not limited Tropico, Surviving Mars and Cities Skylines. In turn, Chris usually tops out between them when it comes to JRPGs as evidence by the fact while Jake had so far made it halfway into his play through of Dragon Quest 9, Chris had already beaten it three times over.

6) Well and I dearly have to apologize to you friend but there’s no way any of them are doing Rikishi’s finisher as the loser’s prize for losing some video games. For me I see more likely that if the Duo were streaming on their Twitch channel like say a Five Round Match on say Mortal Kombat (Each Round has Three Matches, best out of three), it’s more the case that the loser will instead serve the winner a parfait both in the stream itself and for the next few days of the week.

7) Now having Chris create an aura shaped like that Nightwing entity itself with him at the center of it is such an amazing visual to put into comic book artwork, let alone maybe even a full animated series. A display of dark blue, black and sapphire that can potentially be on par with the awe inspiring visuals of a Super Saiyan transformation

As for Jake’s Starbolt construct that surrounds him, I say for bonus points, his eyes can be glowing very tightly (Either Blue or Green or even, pink, depending on how you views his Starbolt colors) to further to the fact he’s no longer playing around. I like it. I like it A Lot XD

Media I’ve Experienced in 2024 (February) SPOILERS

Same as last time, in order of when completed on a scale of 1-10

Clone High (2023) Season 2 (8/10)-Like a lot of people I wasn’t really on board with Clone High’s revival. If you want to know my thoughts it’s honestly a 6, it has some good jokes but it’s weighed down by more forced and obvious comedy. Season 2 however really surprised me, there were a ton of jokes I found funny, brought in some fanservice like Skunky Poo coming back and Cloney Island being fully realized, and a ton of the character chemistry works.

Bumblebee (10/10)-I never thought a solo Bumblebee movie with humans would work but it turned out to be pretty heartwarming and emotional. Charlie and Bee’s relationship felt real along with some fun action scenes.

Clone High (2002) (9/10)-I tried to watch the original Clone High back in 2022 but my memory got clouded by a lot of personal stuff at the time. So checking the original out felt like a reminder of what the show used to be. The bait-and-switch comedy is top notch, Gandhi’s prescience will always be welcome, and by God the emotional soundtrack makes a ton of scenes even funnier.

Hello Kitty:Roller Rescue (5/10)-Pretty basic beat-em-up, cute soundtrack and visuals, nothing too special. I’m probably just spoiled from playing Island Adventure.

The LEGO Movie (Rewatch) (10/10)-I watched this movie on the exact day of its 10 Year Anniversary and by God, this movie is as funny as I remember it. And after I just watched Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s other work in Clone High I can definitely tell I was spoiled from their comedy from age 8 too. The animation still looks great and I can basically recite the script from how many times I watched it in the past. While yes I’m biased, it’s a very sentimental type of bias that I can never let go.

The Lost Boys (7/10)-The Lost Boys is an old but fun movie. It captures the feeling of adolescent summer fun on the boardwalk along with the relatively small sense of horror of the vampire cult.

Us (9/10)-Back on Halloween last year I watched Get Out and I thought it was good as a psychological thriller but not really scary to me. Us on the other hand was a step-up in my opinion. The doppelgänger plot is really cool and the way the tethered family goes around terrorizing everyone felt thrilling. And man the twist, I’m not gonna spoil it but that twist felt like a complete game changer.

The Marvels (2/10)-This movie is not good but not the worst MCU movie ever. Personally I liked the interactions between Kamala, Monica, and Carol even though I’ve grown to dislike Carol overtime. But otherwise the villain is forgettable, a lot of the fight scenes are complete white-noise, and a lot of scenes are completely cringy and predictable.

Epic Career Quest (7/10)-Waking up after a Super Bowl aftermath was weird for me. I don’t know the general opinion is on this series but I found it entertaining. The characters being mismatched kind of works for me as someone who likes these types of ensembles like Drawn Together. And as a growing adult their messages about imposter syndrome and making your goals really stuck with me.

Terrifier (6/10)-I don’t know if this is a personal thing after seeing so much Invincible and Mortal Kombat but the violence here literally had no effect on me. Sure, this movie is scary but the plot kind of drags for me personally.

Terrifier 2 (8/10)-This movie is a step up in terms of scares and production value. Not to mention there’s more of a plot when the first was just a simple murder plot here it’s an extensive plot about people’s perception of Art The Clown and who he is. Where this movie falls flat for me is the sword thing, I personally thought that was an asspull and kind of out of place in a serial killer movie that a fantastical item just doesn’t fit.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Season 2 (8/10)-Moon Girl Season 1 was a fun show that does a lot of cool superhero stuff while also doing enough to stray away from Marvel to make it its own. What do I think of Season 2? It’s on the same level. Nothing really noteworthy, they still do fun things, visuals are nice, and some of the plots are interesting.

Megaman X4 (9/10)-Probably my favorite Megaman X game given what I think about future games. The gameplay is fast paced and fun, the bosses are challenging but fun too, and the transition from SNES to PS1 translated greatly. And the cutscenes exist, if you know you know.

Jujutsu Kaisen (9/10)-Yeah I decided to ride the JJK train and unlike Naruto I do understand the hype. The animation is fluent especially with the domain expansion and curse enemies. I loved characters like Gojo, Maki and Nobara from their entertaining personalities. And Where Our Blue Is will always be one of my favorite songs in anime.

Freddy Vs. Jason (7/10)-The human parts suck especially if they get in the way of crossovers. But Freddy and Jason when they show up together they make the most out of them fighting each other and killing others. Not to mention the setup that has Freddy provoking Jason to getting into Elm Street works really well.

Venom:Let There Be Carnage (3/10)-If I described this movie in one word it would be annoying. Venom is a very obnoxious character who constantly screams and complains about everything. The cliche drama between Eddie and the rest of world is insufferable. The only remotely good part of the movie is the effects on Carnage as it was done pretty well. But other than that I have no desire to watch this one again.

Re:Cutie Honey (8/10)-Kill La Kill mixed with Ghost in the Shell. I honestly thought this was animated by Trigger. But in all honesty I love the fast paced action and character moments.

Resident Evil Revelations (4/10)-Boring. The ship location gets old and I wasn’t scared even once. I honestly like RE6 more than this considering that game has a lot of variety and fun gameplay. This game is so slow and unfulfilling.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica (9/10)-I love how subversive this anime is. Flipping magical girl tropes to be grim dark was a unique twist and made the characters more real than the traditional magical girl stereotype.

Mortal Kombat I: Acertos com Narrativa Desapontante

A qualidade do gameplay em Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1) é indiscutível, colocando-o como o melhor da série desde o MK9. Os cosméticos, adquiridos jogando com a possibilidade de skins de temporadas, são acessíveis através do modo invasão com a moeda do jogo, o que é um aspecto positivo.

A grande atração aqui são os personagens. Eles tem em boa parte o carisma que merecem, sua beleza não se limita apenas à parte gráfica; o design e a aparência são realmente cativantes. São poucos os personagens que prefiro em suas versões anteriores.

Algo que achei peculiar e engraçado é que aparentemente o orçamento da Warner foi literalmente só pra dublar o modo história, quando você chega no invasão todos os diálogos ali estão em inglês.

Foi um grande erro a interação dos personagens nesse game, tudo que era foda na interação do game anterior eles não utilizaram novamente aqui.

No entanto, quero focar no aspecto mais importante desse meu desabafo.

Tenho a impressão de que Ed Boon, o criador da série, tem uma pira de realmente se achar um gênio, não tirando o mérito dele com Mortal Kombat mas poxa o cara viaja muito padrão Snyder. A história desse MK se desenvolve bem até 65% depois disso fica acelerada, bagunçada e com uma tentativa falha de fan service bem preguiçosa, o desfecho dessa história é horrível.

"Mas você não deveria esperar muito de uma história de um jogo de luta."

Talvez, se fosse um Street, Marvel VS Capcom, The King, entre vários outros até que eu poderia meio que relevar uma narrativa fraca pois realmente eles nunca entregaram grandes coisas, mas, devemos considerar que MK e Injustice já apresentaram boas narrativas, portanto, as expectativas são naturalmente altas, especialmente quando o criador alimenta essas expectativas e não as cumpre.

Fica entendido por mim que tem um clima entre elas, mas devido a história ser acelerada ou por falta de coragem mesmo isso fica na insinuação apenas.

AVISO DE SPOILERS DO JOGO:

Não vá esperando uma história incrível nesse MK, ele tem o mesmo problema que os outros e até pior.

Devido à DLC do jogo anterior, consigo entender a presença do vilão final, mas a forma como isso é executado é apressada e mal aproveitada. Introduzir um multiverso de maneira tão abrupta, com referências fracas e personagens misturados de forma simplista, como se uma criança de 12 anos tivesse usando o modo criação de personagem, é decepcionante.

Eles tinham a oportunidade de fazer algo grandioso, mas falharam.

Além de ser o diálogo mais expositivo que vi em uma narrativa nos últimos tempos, ela só está na história pra literalmente fazer isso. Literalmente ter ela fazendo isso ou o lagarto ali atrás da na mesma.

O mais irônico e triste é que, mesmo em um multiverso, todos os personagens e suas duplicatas têm praticamente o mesmo design do jogo atual, em vez de incluir variações do MK11 (que aparecem em cutscenes), MK10/9 e os clássicos do PlayStation 2.

A escolha de qualquer personagem para concluir o final resulta em uma luta sem desafio de final boss, anticlimática e com um desfecho muito mais interessante no modo torre.

Segundo fãs (um conhecido meu) nos quadrinhos ele é um ótimo vilão e poderia ser um para o próximo game, porém na cena pós créditos é indicado que vão levar esse personagem para um outro caminho.

CONCLUSÃO

Mortal Kombat é um excelente jogo que acaba sendo prejudicado em alguns aspectos por seu próprio criador. Embora a história possa ter um desfecho decepcionante, a jogabilidade sólida e outros aspectos positivos fazem dele um jogo com mais prós do que contras dependendo de suas expectativas.

My top 5 favourite Liu Kang Actors

5. Tom Choi

I loved Tom Choi voice acting as Liu Kang in both Mortal Kombat 9 & X/XL. Tom is a Korean American actor like the Mortal Kombat 1 & 2 guy but instead he's a voice actor in the Mortal Kombat franchise. He acting in a few Disney shows and he is recently in Netflix popular Korean show Squid Games. I liked that it brought the Shaolin Monk feeling in Liu Kang and it's felt like the pride of a Shaolin warrior as Liu Kang is a Shaolin Monk like his cousin Kung Lao and Kung Lao nephew Kung Jin.

He first voiced Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat 9 which was brilliant and then he voiced Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat X/XL which was amazing. Tom is such a talented voice actor for Liu Kang and it would be amazing if he done Liu Kang once again.

4. Matthew Yang King

I got to give respect though to this guy who voiced act as Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat 11. He was amazing had the same as Tom Choi. Even though I don't enjoy Mortal Kombat 11, his voice acting was good.

Spoiler Alert: Mattew Yang King is also voicing Netherealms new moblie game. I am saving storage for that lol.

3. Brian Tee

I was surprised to notice that my favourite Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift Character was then Liu Kang. Honestly who can't dislike Brian Tee though so Talented. His first cameo was actually in Austin Powers in Goldmember. Yes you would see a very young Brian Tee in 2002 before 5 years on when you went to Tokyo Drift as the main villain called DK Takashi, who is part of the Yakuza with his Uncle who races against Sean for DK's girlfriend.

Brian Tee plays Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat Legacy the next Mortal Kombat series in the 2010s generation in Season 2. He's not like the other Liu Kang's nor Robin Shou's in the 1995 Mortal Kombat Movie, Brain wears a red shirt and leather Jacket, not quiet the Liu Kang we was expecting but I didn't mind as I love leather jackets hehe.

2. Robin Shou

Out of the blooms. Such an excellent fighter. I thought he was amazing playing as Liu Kang. It's also surprised me that Robin is July same as me and his number birth is 4 days before mine lol, but he was born in the 60s, as I was in the 2000s. Even more though he is taller then me I am smaller then him.

Before Robin Shou became Liu Kang he started in Hong Kong learning Mix Martial Arts and training in China. But then he was called to try out some Hong Kong films. So he started out to do stunts even though he didn't know what stunt was back in the 80s. He then goes on to act in Hong Kong films like Tiger Cage 2 and In the line of Duty 3 with Donnie Yen and Big Brother, The., Death Cage, City War and many more He also made a Brief Appearance in Big Heat, The.

When he came back to America a friend of his who works with Warner Brothers asked him if he could join the cast for a new movie in 1995 called Mortal Kombat who was directed by Paul S.W Anderson who made the Resident Evil series Movies & 2022 Monster Hunter. He didn't know what Mortal Kombat was he only heard it from the Game Liu Kang who was in Hong Kong filming a movie with Jackie Chan.

Robin took the role of doing not just action but Chorography in the movie. I loved Robin Shou and even though the new movie came out, Robin was right he is the chosen one but he's the movie chosen one . I will always love the 1995 Movie one better

Ho Sung Pak

I love him 100%. This guy is amazing Mix Martial Artist, so skilled. Ho Sung Pak was the first ever Liu Kang in both Mortal Kombat 1 and 2. Sung started doing Mix Martial Arts in around 80 or 81 with his brother Ho Young Pak. He stopped doing Mix Martial Arts tournaments to go on then to Film directing. Sung is also Korean American the same as Tom Choi.

Before Mortal Kombat Ho Sung was asked to play one of the thugs in the movie The Legend Of The Drunken Master (Drunken Master 2) as a character called Henry. I loved him in that whether he plays bad or good in movies he still amazing. Sung then came back to Chicago and his friend Daniel Pesina asked him if he could take part in the game Mortal Kombat and Daniel told him about it and he said "As long as we have fun I will do it".

Ho Sung came out in the first Mortal Kombat game in a Bruce Lee style black Kung Fu pants (Trousers), White Sneakers (Trainers) and he had short hair. He already had the short hair from Dunken Master 2 with a suite he has two different suits one suite that is blue blazer and trousers with a pinkie purple tie I don't know lol and another one with black blazer and trousers and black tie.

Honestly Ho Sung Pak is my most favourite Liu Kang in games and I always say even though there has been some good Liu Kang actors for the game no one could beat Ho Sung Pak he is the games Chosen one.

Fun Fact: Both Ho Sung Pak and Robin Shou met in Hong Kong. So when ever you hear Robin Shou saying he knows the original Liu Kang, he knows Ho Sung Pak from Hong Kong.

It has occured to me I didnt actually post an intro for myself. Idk. Its just smth to have ig.
