Princess Entrapta:

- A girl - A boss - She's good... generally. But more than morality, she cares about ROBOTS and SCIENCE. She provided a lot of help to the bad guys because of SCIENCE. But she's not fundamentally bad. She cares about good, but this is accessory.

Princess Azula:

homegirl was only 14 and scarier than her dad but let's be fr, her mum saw her as a monster back when she was a kid bc no one taught her how to be gentle. she was ozai's golden child born and raised to be his puppet. sure she's not a good person nor did she do good things but c'mon she was never given the chance or space to be good. the amount of unexplored potential in her is astronomical. also her lines are just iconic

She tries to kill people with lightning, and is controlling/manipulative of her friends and Zuko. However, she is very cool, so I think this should be allowed.

honestly what do you even say about azula that *hasn't* been said. she's a psychologically fascinating villain, evil yet so complicated and interesting to watch, she's so intriguing and well written. her immoralness mixed with seeing her Feel made her so so interesting to watch. she's an excellent cautionary tale and just a wonderful antagonist. definitely one of the most memorable parts of the show for me

She has never ONCE genuinely apologized for anything in her entire life. Everything she did was on purpose and with the direct intention of furthering her own goals and fucking everybody else over. Firelord of my heart.

More miscellaneous She-Ra pins I found while sorting through Pinterest that made me want to die and my commentary on them. Pt. 1

Idk if this is a joke about Catra hurting Adora, or a joke about Adora ‘letting’ Catra hurt her. Either way, I don’t like it. I really feel like this is another ‘Adora=Dumb’ jokes.

Congratulations, you found the only four frames of Adora smiling in this scene, amongst a sea of shots of her being visibly uncomfortable. Personally, I don’t see it as a smile, more of her trying to put on a brave or determined face. But you could also easily chalk these frames up to an animation error. Not that a C//A Stan would listen. You get the idea.

A lot of people say Catra is trying to make Adora jealous here. Nevermind the fact that both her and Catra are teens here, and Entrapta is in her late 20s/early 30s. Also, I find it odd how touchy Catra is and how much she manipulates Entrapta. If the ages were reversed, Catra would look like some sort of ephebophile or groomer. But Entrapta is the adult, and autistic. I’m not sure what that’s to imply. All I know is to me, it reads like a weird situation where the teen is being a predator to the adult, because the adult is autistic and therefore ‘younger’ than the teen. I’m not sure who wrote Catra and Entrapta’s interactions or if they realize how fucked up it is, least of all a show for kids. But suffice to say, I don’t like it.

This one is a fun little exception. I don’t hate the meme itself. But I do hate the fact that it’s right. 2018 Sea Hawk on his own is fine, but I’ll now and forever be slightly pissed off knowing that OG Sea Hawk was a badass, and now we have an arsonist who can’t take anything seriously and who’s only motivation for anything is Mermista. I’m not saying the new SH is bad, but I am saying the OG one is a million times better for numerous reasons.

Another case of sexualizing a minor. And would you look at that, it specifically says ‘small Adora’. Good God, they’re getting younger. I honestly can’t think of a better way they could indirectly say they’re doing this on purpose. It reminds me of that one episode of Helluva Boss at the summer camp, and how ‘Milard’ was being sent nudes despite people thinking it’s a tween they’re sending them to. The fact ‘Milard’ made the same meme face doesn’t help.

Wow. thay's a lot. For number 1: Adora literally looks terrified and uncomfortabe when Catra is attacking her??? She isn't thinking it's cute???

For number 2: She was smiling because she was playing along with Catra's act? You can tell that the smile is very forced, but noooo she secretly loved the dance despite the fact that she was visably uncomfortable.

For number 3: Again, like what you said this was in season 1, soooo Catra would been 17 while Entrapta was in her 30s...yikes. Also yeah Catra is wayyyy too touchy with Entrapta, like touching her hair and like leaning up against her and stuff like that...if the ages were reveresed, people wouldn't be thinking it's some cute thing

personally, i feel like nancy and adora have the same energy and robin and catra have the same energy but i also feel in terms of plot and all, nancy as catra just makes sense, same with robin and adora

i would love to know what you think since this has been on my mind for the past hour 😭

i see both options!

realistically, in terms of energy/attitude i do agree that nancy and adora have similarities and robin and catra have similarities. robin would handle the rejection similarly to catra while nancy would pick up the hero mantle.

that being said, i actually think character-wise and plotwise that robin as adora and nancy as catra makes more sense. robin is too empathetic to stay with the horde while nancy renounces them; nancy, however, while empathetic, would be more willing to get things done for the greater good.

nancy has her guard up, is slow to form new relationships, and lets her emotions drive her more than anything. this alone rules her out as adora in my opinion as I don't see her forming a bond with whoever bow and glimmer would be, especially after being held captive. nancy wouldn't even be held captive by them. robin, though, is shown to be clumsy and forms quick friendships (look at her dynamic with dustin and erica in s3). she, to me, fits adora's style of heroism much more than nancy does.

nancy as catra, though? that's the biggest hook for me. nancy taking what feels like a rejection, in my opinion, would spur her down catra's path. nancy is the leader. nancy is the planner. nancy is very rarely wrong. she's smart enough to know what the horde is doing, like catra is, but to ultimately believe it's the best course of action, because it's all she knows. nancy wants to prove herself, to be something, and whoever shadoweaver would be would be able to take advantage of that.

i don't see nancy being as naive as adora is in some situations. she'd know what's going on but be smart enough to keep quiet. and, honestly, if robin had asked her to run away with her separately to rejecting the horde and embracing helping her 'new friends', I think nancy would've joined her. as it is, because it's nancy asking robin to come back and robin saying 'no, this is wrong', nancy takes it like a slap to the face, because in her eyes robin isn't rejecting the horde, she's rejecting her.

as a side note, i think plot-wise it makes more sense too. i think max could fit glimmer's character and lucas could fit bow's and steve's like, their bodyguard, or something. in which case, robin stumbling into that dynamic makes Sense. (erica fits frosta pretty well also, and dustin as entrapta).

robin's schtick is that underneath it all she's kind. she wants to help people. nancy does, too, but overall nancy is less concerned with people's feelings than she is getting she wants. robin puts on a tough front, but it immediately crumbles the moment she's actually close to someone.

this is all an extremely long-winded way to say that I personally see robin as adora and nancy as catra (especially because it makes their dynamics delicious), but I like both options!

OK OKOK!! I have a couple in hand not much but some :D (I went on a rant I’m so sorry)

Let’s start with my two obvious favourites

1. Buford x phineas, sure bully x nerd cliche but this is a different type of relationship I see.

Slowly but surely they become close friends and even buddies, I feel like Buford would be a the same just less defensive with phineas and his random unhinged moments. Usually listening phineas rant about what seems to be a bug (or other things) and what type of bugs he’s allowed and not allowed to eat (summer belongs to you episode), and Buford would talk about his fish they both could keep each other going if they didn’t have their best friend (baljeet and ferb) they can remind each other of the small things they forget say perhaps phineas waking up as early as Buford does. Or reminding Buford to take care of himself once in a while that type of thing. As much as Buford tried to be a bully he has a limit of being a bully and honestly he isn’t so bad of a guy and I can see phineas reading that pretty well.

Their dynamic would be like..not like baljeet and Buford’s it just as much as a symbiotic relationship but a lil differently. Clownfish and anemones!!! That’s their relationship! Buford’s the anemone and phineas is the clownfish! (Ironic because of his shirt) it’s healthy and they keep each other going and safe! (Also phineas would prolly help with biff alot)

2. Perry the platypus x Peter the panda

Yeah I know I doubt Perry likes Peter after doof ‘cheated’ on him with Peter but when they work together (when they saved doofenshmirtz) I feel like Perry’s bitterness would fade slowly. (Also the time they went on a date when they fixed the balloon) as it did happen. Perry would find a way to get Peter in the picture, long term relationship wise. Their dynamic is kinda like ‘I secretly love you but I have to much of a lone wolf ego to say it’ and Peter ‘I know.’ Peter understands Perry’s relationship with Heinz and respects what was probably said boundary wise. The two having to listen to their nemesis or not listen it would be nice to just be with someone you can open up to even if it means in your own agency. And different species. It’s like a..hero x hero typa thing! They can keep each other up and going if their nemesis gets abit..much..I also feel like he’s be texting Peter on how stupidly naive Heinz could be and Peter rant about mysterious (what’s his name) being too closed off to open abit more.

Ok this one is especially weird- like ‘wtf 🤨’ weird

3. Lawrence x Heinz; OK hear me out (pls)

They had one interaction (when Lawrence temporarily became evil..it didn’t last) I didn’t think of it, it’s the dynamic I thought of.

Lawrence watching as Heinz talks to himself about it some platypus and the explosion leaving marks behind he would probably tend to the dirt and messes. Listening to Heinz rant and rant and rant- and when Heinz is done he’d ask for Lawrence’s info about antiques and such and they’d just share each others special interest (ADHD + Autism) and he’d take care of norm every once and awhile so Heinz doesn’t flip out on him. It’s healthy and Heinz would be so affectionate (probably) AND ferb would get to meet Heinz which works out to help Heinz make some fun inator’s (not evil Heinz’s attention would be on ferb and Lawrence’s safety his own is irrelevant) Lawrence would be oblivious to the evil but not to oblivious to see the inator’s. He’d prolly go “what is this dear?” -L

“It’s my new inator that vines down to a traumatic period of my life!” -H

“That’s healthy to put it in scientific technology. Do you want to talk about it over some almond brittle and tea?”-L

“You know me so well” -H

IT WOULD BE ADORABLE. (In my eyes)

4. Buford x ferb.

Alright almost the same thing as BxP but ferb’s silent demeanour would probably have an affect with Buford’s bully behaviour. Like put them in a room together Buford would say a couple mean things then suddenly he’s quiet. Almost sleepy at this point. Then suddenly ferb says one fact and Buford adds on to that fact and suddenly they’re having a one sided conversation as Buford debates said fact and ferb debates silently.

One would be the voice of the other (Buford being ferbs voice) about what’s right or wrong.

(Not much on this ship tbh)

5. Baljeet x phineas the two’s dynamic is simple and easy!

Anddd baljeet would be there to fix little mistakes phineas would do (Audhd) and phineas would be sorta annoyed but literally happy he doesn’t think about that small mistake for the rest of his life.

Another symbiotic relationship. Unknown animals though I’d say Coyote and badger, both smart in their own ways.

The Ink Demonth 2023 - Day 20. Factory

Day 20. Factory Crossover: Death and Taxes You can feel frustrated when, day after day, you see on your desk a profile of the same person whom you remember having sentenced to death the previous day.

YOU CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE HOW HARD THIS INK DEMONTH ENTRY WAS TO MAKE! Starting from the difficulty with the font (I had to do a lot of fiddling to make it look like the original one), through arranging things on the desk and replacing the appropriate elements... Oh, horror. I probably took 20 screenshots from the game, sometimes only for one small element (e.g. the number 5). I struggled with this for several hours. Editing screenshots is much more time-consuming and tiring than drawing everything from scratch, really. But I wanted it to look like a screenshot from the game, so I only have myself to blame... Interesting facts: this is my first Ink Demonth ever made entirely on a computer (without a sketch on paper)! And no, I don't use tablet, only mouse... I also had some trouble figuring out Henry's age - because honestly, I never figured out how old Henry was when he started the Studio with Joey - or what year exactly the SATIM story takes place. Additionally, I didn't know whether I should count Henry's age from his birthday or the age he had when he was stuck in the time loop? So his age is very indicative here (in my calculations I was between 56 and 64 years old).

By the way, I would like to thank two people who helped me a lot with this entry. The first is my one proofreader, Ozi, who found the right font for me. The second is my second proofreader, Titatotrix, who wrote me a short biography of Henry in Polish. You may not know this - but I have a hell of a problem with short forms. When I started writing a summary of my Henry's life, I had about 5 sentences and I hadn't even gotten to the point of being trapped in a time loop… So thanks to you two, dear friends and proofreaders!

Well, maybe being a Grim Reaper isn't exactly working in a factory, but anyone who has played the game knows that there is something in the routine of office work as a Grim that can be associated with the word "factory", especially when your boss' orders take away any decision-making power from you (e.g. kill everyone in the bottom row). Besides, if you follow the orders strictly, you are repeatedly called a "mindless drone" and a "soulless machine" in the game.

I like this game, although it is a bit depressing and quite tiring in the long run. Someday I have to play as an absolute rebel, doing everything as I see fit - and see if I get fired (killed) or something else happens :]

PS. Originally, the Factory theme was supposed to be Entrapta and her robots from "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power", but I really didn't feel like drawing it. And when it turned out that I remembered wrongly and in "Death and Taxes" we don't use Pen, but Marker of Death, I started rotating the entries, Clover ended up in Pen, Bluey appeared in Creation, and She-Ra was completely dropped from the list. It's a pity, but… it's supposed to be fun, first of all, for me - I don't want to get tired of drawing something that isn't fun for me to draw.

7. Character fandom had me begin to hate: Catra, for a while. In the early days of the fandom, particularly if you found yourself gravitating toward gremlins (Entrapta, in my case - Adora, Catra, Bow and Glimmer were the main characters first season), everyone going gaga over Catra felt like... "I'm over here, in my little corner." She felt overhyped, even surpassing Adora - the hero - in popularity. And then when season 2 hit, I was one of the earliest Entrapdak-people. Honestly, back then, I treated it as a lark, didn't think it would last, but even THEN some of the "You shouldn't be shipping this ship over the girl-ship / you shouldn't be liking this mean, horrible ugly male villain (even as a side-dish to the cool science gremlin)!" started. People who thought it was more righteous to enjoy Catra / "you must enjoy Catra at the expense of Hordak" bullshit started. When Season 3 happened and the Entrapdak pool-noodle became a dreadnought and people started getting interested in Hordak independently as more of his story was revealed, that's when the fecal matter hit the turbine in terms of the frankly weird Catra vs. Hordak war in the fandom. I really got tired of being called an "abuse apologist" and having it insinuated that I was pro-colonialism because I enjoyed a cartoon space alien dark lord and his Pinky and the Brain-esque realationship with my favorite mad scientist. All while people were holding up Catra as blameless, Catra as only a poor widdle victim. It got annoying to a lot of Hordak-fans and Entrapdak-fans. There was a backlash. I don't think I came to hate her as much as some on that side of the fandom did, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have animosity for the character for a good, long time. I've learned to part myself from the negative experiences in fandom and actually analyze Catra from finding myself enjoying her whenever I re-watch the series. Sweary She-Ra has also gone a long way toward me considering her internal issues and psychological states, despite it being a fanwork / not canon. It is one of those surprisingly insightful fanworks. 14. That one thing I see in fanfics all the time: Characterization getting de-railed for what is obviously an author's personal vision or projection - ex. quick happy endings for fluff, woobiefication for MAXIMUM ANGST. Sometimes the authors even know about it (their notes). 22. Favorite ignored thing: Honestly, I ought to put this in one of my fics just so it stops getting neglected. Not enough people talk about how Entrapta's automated systems in her castle ran on The Clapper. I never had one, but I grew up with those annoying commercials. It amuses me greatly. 23. Ship I've unwillingly come around to: I'm not sure there's any. I am pretty chill with shipping in this fandom. (It's one of my other fandoms where my Bro-TP is almost everyone and their dog's OTP and I feel like tearing my hair out). Maybe Catradora. I always saw it as canon - it was just an obvious "they're leaning into this" from the beginning for me, but there was a point in canon where Catra had gone so far into choosing destruction that I wondered if Glimmadora might be endgame instead and if that would have been the better main ship. It took Catra making a start toward better choices (and being denied her deathwish) to make it start working for me. That, and I think reading something you said about Adora's choices and "fuck Shadow Weaver" that made me see it in a better light.

Before the bad boys revealed their skins I had headcanons about what there styles would be because I imagined that they would all choose to dress as over the top stereotypical badboys but in different unique ways 

Joel street punk/grunge wearing a leather jacket with a lot of spikes and pockets also cool sunglasses “given” to him by bdubs which bdubs got from gems sun cult also baggy pants that are just jimmys that he unnecessarily knifed in front of him for fun saying it was for style

Jimmy pastel goth/scene kid he dyed his hair neon blue because I saw a picture of him with blue hair and he asked Scott for the teal dye he wears fingerless gloves that he cut himself he’s very proud of that and skinny jeans which are just Joel’s but they don’t fit and on his fist are truly a absurd number of bracelets

Grian he chose Victorian goth/steam punk but he didn’t feel like going out of his way so he got some suspenders and a ruffled shirt also stole scars top hat and some inventor goggles he swiped from a hermit because there is no shortage of mad scientist types on hermit craft and he called it a day

Oh that is fantastic- I did try making my designs have their own theming to them myself, I mainly waited until the skins were revealed to make any solid decisions

like for Joel I tried to lean way into like,,, punk biker type beat?? I imagine he put the most about of effort into this bad boy persona so I tried to go all out with his design

For Tim honestly I had him be a bit softer? If that’s the word. he tried, but his fit ended up being a bit more silly than the others. I mainly looked at streetwear for his I believe.

And like you said, my Grian didn’t really put all that much effort into his fit either. he just kinda slapped on a leather jacket and some darker pants and called it a day- the platforms were given to him by,, somebody maybe Joel because he didn’t “look cool enough”

I wILL say though that the idea of steampunk Grian is very cool I am not immune to the steampunk brainrot

Comparing IT Losers Club and the Party is interesting character-wise. Which Party members represent which Losers Club in your opinion?

So long story short, Suffer Brother wanted to direct the It remake, they got denied and so they went and made St instead. Here's an article on this, read it, it's interesting despite being dated.

They took a lot inspiration from It and this reflects in The Party in season one. I'm going to compare The Party to The Losers from how they were portrayed in season one- so no Max. Because while The Losers were the blueprint for The Party, they did grow into their own characters as the seasons went on. Also season one of St came out before the It remake the Suffer Brother's would've pulled from the It book and/or the miniseries.

Mike: he is so Bill Denbrough coded. He's kinda like the unspoken leader (this goes away after season one though I feel like) of the Party. He's the Dm after all (again, season one) He's protective of the ones he loves and is willing to go to extremes to protect them. The cliff scene. He's picked on but not to the extent his other friends are. Also he gets the girl, Billverly anyone? yes I know, I'm talking season one only

Dustin: Him and Richie would be horrible in the same room together. They're similar in their humor. He's also is a bit like Mike H, the peacekeeper. The unit that keeps everyone together, Mike calling everyone back to Derry and Dustin trying to get Lucas and Mike to make amends after their fight. And him and Mike are both kinda nerds. Well kinda for Mike H, Dustin is a nerd.

Lucas: He, like Dustin, is Richie coded. Not so much Richie's humor but more his determination, his strong personality? His fight with Mike in season one is very reminiscent of Bill and Richie's fight. Although again, St came out before the It remake so I'm talking more about how their personalities could clash in the other It medias. The two are like brothers, Mike and Lucas & Bill and Richie. I would even say he's a little bit, just a bit, like Stan, wary of the unknown and supernatural, like how he was with El. After season one he's nothing like Stan though.

Will: he's so Eddie. He is Eddie if Eddie had a good mom. Will had to be brave to face the monsters, just like Eddie had to to be against It. Physically on the smaller side, like Eddie, but he will fight for his friends and his life. But I feel his more reserved personality is more reminiscent of Ben. He's the happiest around his friends, like Ben, and he honestly just wants them to be happy too. Also they're both creative people.

El: She's kinda hard to say but she is Bev coded. The abusive father figure, running into a bunch of boys that accept her despite reasons not to-El having powers and Bev and the rumors about her, and they both end up with the 'leader' at first. But Bev ended up with Ben as adults. Will, El, and Mike is comparable to the to the Bill, Bev, and Ben love triangle so we'll see what happens. (NO I'm not saying she's ending up with Will, do not misconstrued what I am saying, you know what I mean)

I have not read the It book, just bits and pieces here and there and listened to some of the audio book. So I would love to hear from someone who has read It and has different opinions!

There are other parallels I could talk about bc I am feral for this stuff, thank you again anon for asking me this!

Catra took a few steps down the hall of the ship with melog at her side, purring away for comfort, but it stopped when the two heard one of the doors to the other rooms slide open, followed by some shuffling if feet.

"Catra?"

Catra stood face to face with a wide awake glimmer. The two stared each other down with a look of surprise, not expecting to see either one up so late.

"Hey sparkles. Couldn't sleep either huh?" Catra asked, brushing off the moment with her usual facade of sass.

"Heh, no, not really. Its...kind of hard to get used to sleeping in space...and I've got a lot on my mind" glimmer admitted with a sigh.

"You um...want to talk about it?" Catra thought back to when she spoke with glimmer while the queen was held as primes prisoner. Maybe they could have another moment like that without an electric cell door between them.

"You know what? Yeah...I'd like that." Glimmer nodded and walked next to catra back through the hallway, eventually stopping in the main control room on the ship.

They sat on the floor with melog, staring out at the wide window of the front of the ship and watching the stars as glimmer started getting her thoughts off her chest.

"I'm worried catra...what if there's nothing out here for us to find and all this was a waste? And we left home and everything for nothing? Just left them without us, what if something goes wrong back home and we can't be there to help? Or worse, what if we do find something and we can't get out of trouble?" The girl started rambling her concerns to the other.

"I wish I knew what to do...I can't even ask my mom...she'd at least have some idea, she always knew what to do.." glimmer sighed. It was clear she still missed her mother terribly, everything that had happened had effected her deeply and she had hardly been given the time to process and cope with it since taking over as queen.

"Gee sparkles...that's a lot. You're a fighter though, whatever happens you'll get through it, you princesses always do, remember?" She gave the other a light nudge which earned her a small thankful smile from glimmer. 

"Besides, I'm sure..your mom would say youre doing the right thing, you know? Putting yourself out there and all that" catra continued her attempt to comfort her friend.

However glimmers smile fell at her words, face forming a harsher look to match her growing tone while her hands tightened into fists. "What would you know about my mom?"

"What? No I'm just-" catra's tail flicked up, fur standing on end as her body tenses on alert at the sudden change in mood.

"Just what? You're the reason shes not here! Remember? Or did you forget that whole reality collapsing portal you forced open that she had to sacrifice herself to close and save us all?" Glimmer raised her voice

"Hey, I didn't know that was going to happen!" Catra shot back in defense. 

"What do you mean you didn't know?! Entrapta told me she gave you a warning but you opened it anyway!" Glimmer argued 

"I..I'm sorry, okay?! I'm sorry, I did actually want to destroy the world, I didn't mean for that to happen and I didn't think it would be that bad! I get it I messed up! That's all I've ever done, I know!" Catra stood up, melog coming between them.

"No- catra I'm sorry I didn't mean-" glimmer stood up with her hands out to try and comfort the other only to stop when melog hissed fur her to back up.

"I know you guys hate me and you'll probably never trust me, I get that! I'd feel the same, hell I already do! I made huge mistakes and there's no coming back for me but I'm trying! And clearly I can't do enough no matter what I try, you and your stupid princess council made that very clear!" Catra felt tears sting the corner of her eyes and shut them tight to hold it back.

The shouting caused others to rush in.

"Catra? Glimmer? What's going on?" Adora glanced between them, messy long hair down over her shoulders clearly having just woken up. Bow following right behind her and moving towards glimmer, placing a hand on her shoulder with a concerned look to make sure she was alright.

"Why do you keep me around if you hate me so much? If you can't trust me maybe you should have just locked me up and left me behind!" Catra continued, tears streaming as her tail tucked between her legs and voice softened, folding her arms around herself.

"Is that the only reason you brought me along? To make sure I don't cause any trouble back home? So you could keep an eye on me?" Catras voice fell to a rough whisper as she glared at the ground.

"Catra...no...of course not, come here" Adora walked over and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend, holding her close. She placed a hand on the back of the others' head and let her cry into her shoulder, gently gushing her and rubbing her back with the other hand. 

"Catra, that's not how we feel at all..." Glimmer frowned, now feeling guilty for causing catra to break down and leaning into a hug from bow.

"It's okay, let's all go back to bed and we'll work this out in the morning, alright? It won't help handling this while we're tired" bow informed, guiding glimmer back down the hallway.

"Catra, you know we love you. You're part of the best friend squad now, remember?" Adora told her softly. "you know I love you" she rephrased, putting emphasis on the "I" and giving her a kiss on the forehead. 

"I know...I love you too, dork" catra mumbled.

Adora gave a soft chuckle and took catras hand. "Come on, let's go back to bed" she spoke, gently pulling catra down the hallway with her back to their shared room, melog following right behind.

Chapter 7: Ruling is Hard, Man

Glimmer paced back and forth inside her tent as Bow, Adora, Catra, Castaspella, Micah, and Scorpia watch on. Micah rose from his seat.

“Glimmer, sweetie, maybe you should sit down.”

“No thanks. I’m fine.” She was not fine. “People can just be… frustrating. Like, I get why Mermista thinks why Hordak should go to Beast Island, but at the same time… no.”

“I get how you feel. As a ruler, you are forced into uncomfortable situations that are unfair to everyone. Making a decision can be difficult, and being able to make that decision makes you a good ruler.”

“What would you do?”

“Honestly, I would not send him to Beast Island. I would not wish that on my worst enemy, and Hordak is my worst enemy. Factoring in Entrapta and Hordak’s… relationship, it would be a bad decision all around.”

“Exactly, I don’t know how they can’t see that!”

“Right now, Mermista is blinded by her emotions, give it time, and they will hopefully come around.”

“Thanks, Dad.” The two embraced as Castaspella cleared her throat.

“Yes, I have a question. What are we going to do about Entrapta and Hordak’s… ‘relationship’?”

“Nothing, despite how odd it may seem, Entrapta is allowed to date whomever she wishes.” Glimmer forced out of her mouth.

“I know, it’s just Hordak is so old and Entrapta is so young.”

“Entrapta’s like 31 though.”

“She’s what!” Everyone, except Catra, whipped their heads toward Scorpia, each of their faces with varying levels of shock.

“Yeah, she told me when we first met, you guys seriously didn’t know?”

“Well, to be honest, I thought she was fourteen when we first met her. Then I thought she was in her early twenties at the most.��

“Old or young it is still none of our business who she decides to date, even if that someone waged war on all of Etheria.” Glimmer sighed as she flopped down onto her cot. All the stress and labor from the past six months were thrown down upon her as she sunk further into the thin mattress. Who knew taking down an evil Emporer could be so draining?

“Well, it’s late I’m going to turn in for the night.” Catra rose from her seat and sauntered out of the tent toward her own.

One by one, everyone departed after saying their goodbyes until it was just Michah and Glimmer left.

“I guess I should go to bed too, it’s getting late.”

“Wait, Dad before you go I have to ask you if I’m doing what is right.”

“I think that’s more up to you, sweetie.”

“That’s not very helpful.”

“I know, but you got to have confidence in yourself before you expect confidence from others, but, for the record, I think you are doing amazing.”

“Thanks, Dad,” she paused, “I love you.”

“I love you too, sweetie.”  Micah then left the tent and Glimmer with a newfound confidence for the future.

My reason why SPOP and TTS are so similar

-the toxic and abusive ship took over the series and left the other characters with no develop

-etherians and coronans: " let's forgive Catra/Cassandra after they tried to kill and hurt innocent people and did a lot of damage in our kingdom "

*Bow Glimmer/ Eugene and Rapunzel literally including the person that it's a war criminal, that made a huge damage on their kingdom in their friendship group *

-also etherians and coronans: " let's mistreat Entrapta/Varian for their actions and how they are, omg i hate them "

*bow and glimmer/Rapunzel and Eugene literally treating bad both Entrapta/Varian after how much they helpfull they are, not including them in their friendship group, also send Varian to prison when he had a vlid reason to be mad at Rapunzel *

well friend. This is my analisis of why people compare spop with TTS and it's sad because if you think about it Entrapta and Varian didn't do anything to get such a bad treatment and tried so hard to change and be a betterperson for the rest while C*tr*and Cassandra didn't do anything, they did a lot of damage and literally weren't sent to prison while a 14 years old kid yes and that they both are adults and know what they were doing. Something that bother me is the fact that it's true c*ssunzel has took over the show, let's thanks is not incest but what about Rapunzel x Eugene ? aren't this two have to be more moments than Rapunzel and Cassandra or what ? honestly i'm so disapoint that both shows treat an awful woman like if she were an angel who did all a huge damage just because they were hurt and has no reason to do what they do while they treat the inteligent character as the wrong and bad one that try so hard to change, i honestly feel so bad for Entrapta and Varian they deserve so much better than the treatment they got

I haven't watched Tangled the series, but I know a lot of people ship Cassandra and Rapunzel despite them having the same mom and the same golden child x scapegoat dynamic, kinda like Catradora, but Cassandra and Rapunzel don't get together do they? But I agree with everything you said about spop.

One word. ROMANCE. anything with romance I am a SUCKER for romance. Anything that can get my heart to melt into mush and make me squeal no matter how many times I rewind a particularly tender scene. that shit is my cryptonite.

I will say though, I only REALLY enjoy romance when there's something else going on along with it, some examples being Miraculous ladybug and cardcaptor Sakura.

On the subject of those two shows, I am a huge fan of anything that has to do with magical girl stuff! Ik miraculous seems more like superhero stuff but trust me it's more magical girl than anything. Those types of stories with characters in cute outfits fighting an evil force in order to bring peace just attracts me like a magnet.

First Kiss- Fuck fuck fuck I love first kisses. They make me squeal and giggle and make a plethora of embarrassing noises it's just so cute and the payoff after waiting for so long feels so good especially if it's slowburn and i just. Hdjdnsnsn.

Mutual pining - I am obsessed with mutual pining. When they both want to be together SO BAD but they're stupid as fuck so they keep it to themselves like idiots. And then when they realize they both want each other and get together I can scream "FUCKING FINALLY" and have a breakdown (/POS) when they kiss. Yea...

Cuddling & Snuggling- hngb... fuck... am I exposing myself .. the intimacy of snuggling up to another person... feeling the warmth of them... hdnndns....

Bonus points because this one can also be platonic!! Not that the other two can't, but. Yeah.

Queerplatonic Relationship- this one isn't a trope but I love QPRs. Because they're literally whatever you want them to be. And my aroace heart is happy looking at them. It was also obvious the endgame was Catdora and it's the nature of the show and its themes of redemption, forgiveness, and friendship and whatnot
