Peter: Hey, you don’t look too good.
Kate, pale and sweaty: Yeah right, I always look good.
Yelena: Peter is right. Are you okay?
Kate, coughing and wheezing: Right as rain. Let’s get this show on the road!
Cassie: Are you sure you-
Kate, crumpled on the ground: Bet I can beat you to the top…
Yelena: Aaaand she passed out. Cool. Peter?
Peter: I got the legs.
Cassie: I got her arms.

Hey, how you going? I just stumbled upon your blog and saw that you write for Scott Lang, and that requests are open, and this is kinda heaven! There aren't many fics with Scott (even less with male reader), so I wanted to request, if possible, one with Scott where he and the reader have a relationship (or maybe they just like each other), and Scott ends up getting jelly seeing him spend a lot of time with the person responsible for recruiting him (Steve, Bucky, Sam, Natasha... Whoever you think is the best). They can end up spending heaps of time training or just cracking up together, which makes Scott jealous.
P.S. If you wanna make this a smut, in my head Scott would definitely be the bottom (maybe reader's powers can make things more interesting ;) )
Thanks in advance!!
A Good Sense of Humour
Pairing:Scott Lang x Male! Reader
(bottom scott, top reader)
Content: SMUT, gentle love making, exchanging feelings, multiple orgasms (reader has that super soldier stamina 💪), mainly vanilla smut, size difference, rushed ending :( .
Summary: You'd just been recruited into the avengers and were going through training with THE Steve Rodgers, you and Steve had gotten close during your training but you only had eyes for one man and that was Scott Lang, but he'd never like you back... Right?
---------------------------
It had been a few months since you were first recruited to the avengers by steve Rodgers, it still leaves you baffled that Capitan America himself wanted you to join the avengers but you guess he wanted you because of your shared trait of being a super soldier. So far everyone has welcomed you with open arms, you've been getting along especially well with Scott Lang, Antman. You think hes funny and really quite attractive, but he could never reciprocate your feelings you knew he had a wife at one point and a daughter called Cassie. So he's obviously straight.
These past few months have been spent mostly with Steve, he's been training you and you've come to think of him as a pretty good friend.
You and Steve were chatting about your most recent training session and what you could do to improve, when you entered the kitchen you saw scott leant on the island sipping from a mug. "Hey Scott!" You say cheerily. "Hey y/n." He replies only glancing at you. Something was obviously wrong, he was always much more cheery and always had some kind of joke to crack when he saw you.
"I'll see you later y/n, me and Buck have plans." Steve says patting your back. "Alright, see ya later Steve." You smile. When Steve leaves the room theres a thick layer of tension surrounding you and Scott. "There something wrong Scott?" You say as you approached him. "So you and Steve, huh?" He asks just staring into his mug. "What? Oh pfft no! Hes not my type. Besides... Hes straighter than a ruler." You say trying to make some kind of joke to break the tension, Scott laughs a little but still seems upset. "So.. what is your type?"
He looks up and into your eyes, now it was your turn to look down. You stared down at the tiled floor considering your answer, you decide maybe you should confess maybe he likes you back? That would explain why he's so sad. You decide to go for it. "Guys with a good sense of humour." You confess as you look back up connecting with his gaze. You watch as his face lights up before a shit eating grin replaces it. "So like me? You bite your lip and smile as you step forward and place your hands on his cheeks, you admire his features for a second. "Yeah.. like you."
Scott leans forward and encases you in a kiss, it was short lived but you were quickly dragged to his room where he kissed you again. The kiss was much longer and full of passion. Your hands slowly traveled to his ass and he let out a moan into the kiss, you quickly picked him up making him gasp and wrap his legs around you. You laughed a little "don't worry I won't drop you, you're light." You tease.
Your hands are placed firmly on his ass but you have no struggle keeping him up, being a super soldier meant you could lift grown men like Scott with ease. Scotts hands are roaming around in your hair as you make out, the kissing is getting rougher and more desperate. Scott moves his hands from your hair to your shoulders and pulls away, his lips are swollen and red and hes out of breath.
You don't even have to ask what he wants, before he opens his mouth you have him layed on the bed and you're unbuttoning his trousers. You pull his trousers off of his legs and caress his inner thighs, "have you got lube?" You ask, you used to use spit but ever since you got pumped full of super soldier syrum you're quite a lot bigger than you were and you'd need a lot of spit... "Yeah top drawer next to you." You reach over and grab the lube, there were condoms next to it. Just looking at them you knew they weren't your size.
"Scott, I don't think your condoms will fit me.." You admit slightly worried it'll be a deal breaker. "Oh- i have one of your condoms in there..." He admits. "You steal it from my room?" You find it underneath a sock and close the drawer. "Yeah... Sorry." You laugh a little and put the condom to the side for now.
Scott helps you pull down his underwear, you lick his hole but pull away and grab the lube, applying it to his hole and your two fingers. You push one finger in slowly and you watch as Scott's toes curl. "Just tell me when you're ready for the second finger." You tell him not wanting to hurt him, he nods and takes deep breaths.
You're sat next to him on the bed looking down at his figure, your other hand roaming around his torso. "This your first time with a guy?" You ask and he shakes his head. "First time bottoming though.." you suddenly feel guilty having not asked him if he wanted to bottom "we can stop if you-" "no! God no dont stop!" He interrupts, his response makes you grin and you slowly add another finger.
Once scott had adjusted you began curling your fingers inside of him in search of his prostate. The sweet little moans hes making go straight to your cock, "i need to add a third finger to stretch you out right, that okay?" He nods and you prod another finger at his entrance, as you push it in Scott gasps and wraps his arms around you, his face buried in the crook of your neck.
You whisper praises in his ear as you feel him adjusting slowly, soon enough his light whimpers became heated moans as you curled and thrusted your fingers inside of him hitting his prostate. "That feel good?" You coo, all Scott can do is nod and moan. "You think you're ready for my cock?" You ask still fingering his hole. "Yes.. yes. Please." He sighs.
You pull your fingers out of him and place a kiss on his forehead. You roll the condom on and apply a gracious amount of lube. Theres a hitch in Scotts breath when you place your tip against his entrance. "I'll be gentle for you baby." You assure.
You slowly begin to push into Scott, he lets out strained groans as you continuously push farther into him. You stop in your tracks deciding you had gone far enough in. "A-are you all the way... In?" Scott stutters out. "No, i just thought this is probably enough." Scotts face scrunches and he slowly bends to look at where you two have connected. "Please... Go all the way in.." He looks up at you through hooded lids, you just can't say no to that face. "Okay.. but you dont have to, you can tell me to stop as soon as you become too uncomfortable-" you begin to ramble but Scott quickly cuts you off with a smile "I want to feel all of you.." his words have you blushing and you nod.
You continue to gently push in the last couple inches of your cock, Scotts legs are wrapped around your waist and he's still adjusting to your size. You caress his waist and give him as much time as he needs. You both sit in a comfortable silence until Scott gives you the green light to start slowly shifting your hips.
His sweet little whimpers fill the room as you gently pump into and out of him, "please.. go faster." You place your hand on his cheek and start to pick up the pace of your thrusts, still being mindful to not be rough.
You feel scott tighten around you as he cums, the white strings landing on his stomach. Once he was down from his high you pull out and are about to leave and get something to wipe him down with when he grabs your hand. "You didn't enjoy it?" He asks seemingly upset. "What? No! I loved it, I've been waiting to do that for so long." You clasp your hands on either side of his face and give him a warm smile.
You apply a small amount of lube and slowly push back inside of Scott, your dick sliding in smoothly.
"you didn't cum." He replies blankly. "Oh- yeah. Because of the super soldier syrum.. You know i have increased stamina, yeah, It takes me a long time to finish, we should probably leave it here because it's your first time bottoming and-" you're interrupted by Scott shushing you. "I want you to keep fucking me until you cum, got it?" You just blush and nod.
........................
You've lost track of time completely, bringing scott to his next orgasm being the only thought on your mind. You're pretty sure you're well acquainted with every inch of Scotts body by now, your hands roaming and caressing his skin as you get closer and closer to your own release.
You finally take one last thrust and cum into the condom, your legs shake slightly and you take a minute to recover.
When you're ready you slowly pull out causing an overstimulated Scott to whine. "Sorry, I'll clean you up and we can go straight to sleep okay?" Scott only nods, he still looks like he's seeing stars.
You grab a warm cloth and gently wipe Scott and yourself down before climbing into bed with him, wrapping your arms around his waist and holding him close.
You both slept undisturbed and peaceful within eachothers arms.

A/n: as much as i love writing for Pedro's characters, a different character like Scott was refreshing. Sorry it took so long aswell being busy and a slow writer who gets distracted easily is not a good mixture. But i hope you like it <3

Remember when i talked about a Man-Ant au i never did? Sorry.
But finally got the time to draw something about it.
Tumblr media
Story:
After becoming Ant-man, Scott Lang got more and more interested in ants. He told Hank about it, and Hank mentioned an experiment he had been developing to bring back a prehistoric ant. Titanomyrma.
Scott was at first wary; heck, Jurassic Park clearly says why is not a good idea. But Hank managed to convince him, since Scott has a good trust on his Father-in-law.
Hank gave Scott a needle, so he would shrink and inject one of the ants with it. However, the little ant was so scared and constantly moving. When Scott was about to inject it, the ant moved and Scott accidentally injected his own arm. Scott returned back to normal size and told Hank the ant escaped, but forgot that he got injected in the process. They forgot about the project.
Next day Scott's sense were amplified, but he couldn't put his finger onto why. He took a nap to forget about it. When he woke up, he was already turned into that creature. Scott panicked and went to Hank as he could, only for them to discover the Titanomyrma DNA altered Scott's one. Scott had to admit his mistake and Hank; being the old grumpy he is, scolded Scott.
Scott is now trying to learn live with it while Hank searches a cure. But that doesn't stop him from being a loving father to Cassie and a good boyfriend to Hope.
Scott's new features include:
An ant-like jaw, with rows of razor sharp teeth.
Compound bug-like eyes. They have eyelids tho, and are very expressive.
Razor claws on both hands and feet.
Small ant wings on his back. He can't fly with them.
Bug-like hair on his neck and back.
Sensitive nostrils.
A foot or two more in height.
While his abilities are:
Enhanced senses of smell, vision and hearing.
Enhanced strenght.
Natural comunication with ants.
Powerful bites.
Climbing.

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…
December 15th - Stinger
As a young child, Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Lang suffered from a rare, congenital heart defect. In order to save her life her father, Scott, stole Hank Pym's Ant-Man equipment, which he uses to rescue the acclaimed surgeon, Erica Sondheim.  In turn, Dr. Sondheim performed a successful surgery that enabled Cassie to make a full recovery.
As Cassie became older she wanted to become a hero just like her father.  She secretly exposed herself to the size-altering ‘Pym Particles’ in the hopes that it might bestow her super powers.  Some years later, Cassie’s father was killed in action as a member of The Avengers.
Cassie went to live with her mother and step-father and not long thereafter, learned about the group of teen heroes calling themselves The Young Avengers.  Cassie sought out Kate Bishop and the pair tracked down the Young Avengers, petitioning them to allow the two young women to join their ranks.  While arguing for her right to join this team, Cassie first demonstrated her ability to grow four times in size (a power gained by way of her past exposure to Pam Particles).
Now going by the alias of ‘Statue’ Cassie became a member of the Young Avengers and fought at their side against Kang the Conquerer.  Statue later briefly joined the ranks of Pym’s Mighty Avengers team before reuniting with the Young Avengers for the Children’s Crusade event.  During this adventure, Cassie convinced The Scarlet Witch to use her chaos powers to pluck her father out of the time-stream in the instant before his death and bring him to the present, effectively resurrecting her dad.  Sadly, Cassie soon thereafter perished in battle against Dr. Doom.
Doom would later use his own machinations to bring Cassie back finally allowing her and her father to be reunited.  Following her resurrection, Cassie retired her guise as Stature and tried just being a regular teenager.  It proved a poor fit, however, and it was not long before Cassie returned to the life of super heroics.  Herein she devised a new identity as ‘Stinger’ creating a costume similar to that worn by the Wasp with wings that facilitate flight while at reduced size and powerful bioelectric stingers that emit from a pair of wrist bands.  As Stinger, Cassie would go on to have adventures alongside her father.
Cassie has featured in the marvel Cinematic Universe, portrayed by three actresses: Abby Ryder Fortson, Emma Fuhrmann and Kathryn Newton. The heroine first appeared in the pages of Marvel Premiere #47 (1979).

I’m seeing some comics readers, particularly Young Avengers fans, expressing frustration that Cassie is taking on the Stinger identity and/or costume in Quantumania, rather than becoming Stature as we know her. I get it-- there is something redundant and reductive about patterning every female Ant-Man character after the Wasp. Giving a teenage girl Giant-Man powers would be cooler and more exciting, and clearly, if we look at America Chavez and Kamala Khan, we can see that the M C U has a problem with allowing girls to be physical powerhouses. So, yeah, it is a little annoying.
If you’re only familiar with the 616 continuity, it probably also seems like recency bias-- Cassie’s only been Stinger for the past few years. But the truth is, the Stinger identity actually predates Young Avengers by almost a decade. A grown-up version of “Cassandra Lang,” aka Stinger, first appeared in the MC2 continuity in the mid-90s. This was also the first appearance of Hope Pym/van Dyne, so, these characters have a historical connection that a lot of movie fans aren’t aware of.
Since Stinger was first introduced in MC2, her costume and identity have been used for future/adult versions of Cassie on Earth-616 as well. YA fans should recall the Children’s Crusade: Young Avengers one-shot that featured future versions of several characters, including Teddy as Captain Marvel, Tommy as Quicksilver, and yes, Cassie as Stinger.
So, while I do think that Stature is a cooler name and, in many ways, a more interesting take on the Cassie Lang character... Stinger is a bigger part of who she’s always been, and will be. I really can’t fault the adaptation for going with that, especially since this is an Ant-Man story with Hope van Dyne in it, not a Young Avengers movie. And thank g-d it isn’t. I think we can all admit by now that a Young Avengers M C U movie would not live up to any of the things we love about those comics.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) Review
Tumblr media
MCU isn’t what it used to be. So I mainly went to see the new Ant-Man movie for Paul Rudd. My friend suggested I could simply watch Paul Rudd clips on the internet or print out a really big picture of him and get lost in his eyes. All acceptable options, however nothing beats seeing his cute lil’ face on the big screen. So off I went to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania...
Plot: When Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope's parents, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, and Scott's daughter, Cassie, are accidentally sent to the Quantum Realm, they soon find themselves exploring the Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and coming face to face with a new big threat to the entire multiverse.
Since Avengers: Endgame, Marvel has been desperately trying to reignite the excitement audiences had during the Infinity Saga and the build-up to Thanos. Until now they have been at best mediocre, and all their multiversal shenanigans have come across mostly desperate and eye-rolling. Basically the MCU magic has been lost. Now comes the third Ant-Man with the promise to set a new course direction for the cinematic universe, with the proper introduction of the new Thanos-level Big Bad that will have a ripple effect on the future of the franchise. The result?
Yep, the magic is indeed lost. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a by-the-numbers superhero blockbuster with a predictable plot, lots of CGI and an abundance of gobbledigook-filler sprinkled throughout. As a third movie in the Ant-Man series it fails, as it loses that self-contained heist thematic that was featured in the previous two. These movies have always felt quite separate from the rest of the MCU and smaller scale. Palette cleansers if you will in between all the major universe shattering threats. With Quantumania this is very much a bigger scale Marvel film, and in fact the Ant-Man characters feel like secondary thought, and instead this plays out as The Kang Movie. But then as the set-up to Phase 5 and the introduction of the new Big Bad of the MCU it doesn’t really work either, as Kang is useless. For someone who’s supposed to be such a big deal and hard to defeat, the fact that Ant-Man even has a fighting chance against him should be ludicrous. Don’t get me wrong, Jonathan Majors provides dramatic heft to the villain, and portrays the character in a stoic Shakespearean way, as he slowly enunciates his devilish schemes, and to be fair he shows that he lacks any mercy to anyone as he blasts down to death many Quantum citizens without a second thought. However that portrayal akums to nothing when, again, a couple of people with shrinking suits manage to take his punches and keep going. Look, we’ll see how they will use Kang further down the line, but this movie very much failed in presenting him as a lasting threat to the MCU.
The writing is also piss poor. So many dialogue scenes between characters feel unnatural and rushed, as if the screenwriters are in a race against time to finish off the script so that they can quickly on and do the next Marvel project and then the next. And the narrative itself is filled with plot holes and certain things that flat-out don’t make sense. For example, Hope’s mother Janet van Dyne acts as the expositional source in this movie. However for half of the movie Janet refuses to tell our main characters any important information, instead simply leaving them with a “we don’t have time, I’ll tell you later”. But that is only done to give us a pointless bit of suspense before she dishes out the info anyway halfway through the movie. As such she is needlessly leaving out main characters out of the loop, in turn making them unprepared for the incoming threat, whereas if she warned them beforehand, all of it could have been easily  avoided. As for the reasoning behind her being so secretive about the Quantum Realm and not wanting anyone to have anything to do with it - where was all that in the last movie, when she so confidently sent Scott Lang into the Quantum Realm to fetch those special time particles for Ghost? She had no issues then. I get that most likely the Marvel producers and writers had a creative change of course in between these two films, but they should have made the transition more smoother. Instead it’s now inconsistent and blatant lazy writing.
Visually to be fair the movie is done pretty well. Yes, it is a lot of green screen that at times is very obvious, but overall it is a pretty looking movie, and very much came off as Marvel’s version of Star Wars. I’m not even talking narratively with Kang and his forces being like Darth Vader and the Empire, and the rebels being, well, like the rebels! But visually, the various Quantum characters we come across and the general aesthetic plays out like a feature length version of the Mos Eisley cantina from A New Hope. Which I didn’t mind, as I appreciated the creative designs that the visual artists came up with. That being said, and this is a very light spoiler that, if you use the internet in any capacity, would have come across your interface at one point or other. But that being said, a certain comic book character is introduced in this movie, that being MODOK. Yes, MODOK is in this film, and there are some very visually striking choices made with him that are most definitely going to split audiences. His look is very jarring and unnatural, but I myself actually really dug what they did with this character, and it played for some very good laughs.
Quantumania is not inherently a bad movie. There’s plenty of fun moments and visuals, with the usual blockbuster action you come to expect from the Marvel folks. The cast all are lovely to watch. Paul Rudd brings his usual charm and charisma. Michael Douglas is an acting legend and is always great to see him try and act in front of a green screen. Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp - she’s hardly in the film, even though she’s in the title. Go figure. Michelle Pfeiffer and Jonathan Majors try their best in their roles, however the poor writing really damages their characters. Kathryn Newton as Cassie I couldn’t care less about. Bill Murray is just Bill Murray. But overall this movie doesn’t change the fact that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has lost its original spark, and is now milking a dead cow to its last drop. Still looking forward to seeing Guardians Vol. 3 as its James Gunn’s final swan song before moving to DC, but otherwise maybe its time for Marvel to take a break. Which they won’t do, as these movies make so much money for the studio. Again, Disney gets it all.
Overall score: 5/10

Quantumania spoilers below the cut!!!!!!!
this is going to be so messy and maybe not make that much sense but here are my thoughts
my main takeaways from this movie are 1: Scott Lang is a good dad 2: Hope is a cool stepmom 3: the Kangs are all comin and the MCU is in troubleeeeeee and 4: Cassie Lang is a sapphic. did you see the way that girl looked at Jentorra. I’m hc-ing her as either lesbian or bi.
also am I the only one absurdly happy that Hank and Janet get featured in scenes so much??? like with the MCU and I would say actually action movies in general, it’s commonly the Gen Xers and below who get all the action but Janet and Hank are older and still utter badasses and I love that honestly
KANG IS A FUCKING EPIC VILLAIN. kinda sad that he died honestly, and now everykang else is approaching our main timeline… this does not give hopeful feelings for the heroes in the near future
Veb is adorable I love him. also like that he’s played by the Baba Yaga guy.
Jentorra’s really cool! I want to be her when I grow up. She reminds me of Valkyrie.
I have this random theory that maybe Scott didn’t actually make it out of the quantum realm at the end, but maybe the ants kind of picked up on how devastated he was to never see Cassie again and made a whole version of reality like a hologram or smth inside the quantum realm to give the illusion that he’s with his family. idk that was just something I thought of that could explain the slightly cliche ending
Young Avengers movie when??????????? just off the top of my head we have Peter, Harley, Cassie, Kamala, America, Shuri and Elijah Bradley already in the MCU we just. need a reason for them all to come together and kick ass.
I know we all screamed when we saw Loki in the end credit scene but my brain malfunctioned and I just went Tom Hiddleston is in this? Okay” before I saw Mobius and I was like “oh. oh right, Loki”
the marvel brainrot is retuning. someone help me. I just started a new fic.

SDCC 2022 Exclusive Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Concept Art Teaser Movie Poster by Andy Park x Marvel Studios
One of The Blot’s favorite parts of San Diego Comic-Con is when Marvel Studios releases concept art teaser movie posters for its upcoming films. This year Marvel released this epic SDCC 2022 Exclusive Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania concept art poster by artist Andy Park! It features Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp, and Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang (aka Stature!) and Jonathan Majors as the villain Kang! This was a huge Comic-Con for Majors coming out of his debut appearance in Loki as it’s now clear that Kang is the central villain of Phase 4 and Phase 5 of the MCU. Here’s hoping Cassie becoming a super hero leads us to the Young Avengers! Ant-Man 3 is going to be nuts! http://dlvr.it/SWHYY8

ANTY CLIMAX
Now in theaters:
Tumblr media
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania--Paul Rudd, aka Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, is taking a little hiatus from front line superhero duty. On inactive status with The Avengers, he's written a book, so he's giving readings, and hanging out with family, and smugly basking in celebrity. That's the set-up, in a few quick scenes in San Francisco, for this third eponymous Ant-Man feature.
Then, thanks to science experiments by his daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton) gone wrong, Scott and Hope Van Dyne, aka The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) get swept into the "Quantum Realm," along with Cassie, Hope's Mom Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) and dad Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). The Quantum Realm is a subatomic micro-verse teeming with life in which Janet was stranded for decades.
Thus Janet knows the turf, and she knows that the people there are ruled over by the tyrannical Kang (Jonathan Majors), a dimensional conqueror who she marooned in QR before she escaped. Kang would like very much to be reunited with Janet. Far-out fantasy adventures ensue.
Director Peyton Reed seems to pays heavy homage to the original 1977 Star Wars; the Quantum Realm is full of cousins of Tusken Raiders and Jawas. There are also strong echoes of the Avatar flicks, of Zardoz, and of Dr. Who, and maybe a thematic hint of Horton Hears a Who.
This is yet another Marvel entry featuring alternate universes; it has a somewhat similar look to Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness from last year. As with that film, I went in with the feeling that the This-That-Or-The-Other-verse conceit that the Marvels have leaned on so hard in recent years is of limited sustainability, as it has a tendency to dilute the dramatic stakes.
On the other hand, also as with Multiverse of Madness, taken on its own terms Quantumania is perfectly enjoyable. The visuals, however derivative, are elegant, witty and well-executed, and the glamorous cast is in pleasant form. Rudd's sly, subtle clowning is always good company, and he carries the movie effortlessly.
The best performance, however, is by Jonathan Majors, from The Last Black Man in San Francisco. His Kang is quiet, subdued, even sad, as if haunted by the joyless drive to conquer and rule. As with Christian Bale's Gorr in last year's Thor: Love and Thunder, Majors brings a needed edge of serious, almost tragic menace that helps to ground this silly sci-fi spoof.

Brie Larson wants an interesting team-up with her fellow Avenger, Ant-Man. While fans have to wait until November for The Marvels, theaters currently are jam-packed with screenings for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The film follows Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) post-Avengers: Endgame, as he reunites with his now-grown daughter Cassie, played by Kathryn Newton. It seems Ant-Man has become a celebrity after helping Earth's Mightiest Heroes save the planet from Thanos, even launching a podcast that we learned about in Ms. Marvel titled This Powered Life. It now looks like Ant-Man has his next podcast guest lined up in the form of Captain Marvel. The Marvels star Brie Larson responded to a Twitter promotional video for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, stating her desire to be a guest star on the Avenger's podcast. "Sign me up to be on #AntMan's podcast soon though," Larson said. ⚡️🍿🍿🍿 #comiccon #spoilermagazine #news #losangeles #podcast #magazine #art #instagram #galaxy #film #tv #hollywood #feature #movies #fandom #graphicdesign #nyc #spoiler #comicconradio #comicbooks #brielarson #captainmarvel #marvelcomics (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpCtfIWLeBf/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Ant-Man early reviews don’t look good for Marvel
Tumblr media
Ant-Man – As the MCU has grown since the late 2000s, fans are eager to hear more about more impending films.
With Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the fourth phase of the MCU, which is now divided between movies and television episodes, was completed in late 2022.
With the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Marvel is kicking off Phase Five.
The Ant-Man sequel seems to be extending the multiverse idea in advance of the upcoming Secret Wars film.
Following the early screening for reviewers, reviews and leaks have already started to pour in.
On the other side, despite the fact that the previous few MCU movies have been well welcomed, Ant-Man seems to be continuing the trend of performing below expectations.
The movie
In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which also includes some new characters and some old ones, Phase Five is introduced.
Cassie Lang accidentally sends Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, Hank Pym, and Janet Van Dyne into the Quantum Realm in the most recent Marvel movie.
Scott must work for the new threat Kang the Conqueror in order to bring his family back to Earth, while Janet must face her past.
Among the returning characters are:
Scott Lang/Ant-Man – Paul Rudd
Hope Van Dyne/Wasp – Evangeline Lilly
Dr. Hank Pym – Michael Douglas
Janet Van Dyne/Wasp – Michelle Pfeiffer
Jimmy Woo – Randall Park
Veb – David Dastmalchian
Meanwhile, the new characters and faces are:
Kang the Conqueror – Jonathan Majors
Cassie Lang (old character, new actress) – Kathryn Newton
Lord Krylar – Bill Murray
M.O.D.O.K. – Corey Stoll
Quaz – William Jackson Harper
Jentorra – Katy M. O’Brian
What critics are saying
In contrast to the bulk of MCU movies, Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantum of Solace has gotten mixed reviews.
Although the third Ant-Man’s visuals and Jonathan Majors’ acting are two highlights, it would be hard to overlook the entire plot.
“I can say with 100% certainty that viewers are in for a treat,” wrote Danielle Solzman of Solzy at the Movies.
Similar excitement was also shown by critic Jenna Anderson of ComicBook.com, who wrote:
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is an eccentric and essential spectacle, which further expands the possibilities of what the MCU’s tentpole projects can still be capable of.”
But Hoai-Tran Bui of Inverse wasn’t impressed, so it’s not all sunshine and butterflies.
“It commits the worst sin a movie can me,” wrote the Inverse critic. “It’s boring.”
“Marvel movies have long become less like movies and more like feature-length commercials for the next big thing,” she continued.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is sadly the greatest embodiment of that.”...Read More
