I genuinely hate superhero AUs so much. They have like 3 plotlines everyone keeps recycling. Superhero suits are really unappealing and uniform, so none of the characters look interesting or get to express their personality and hobbies through what they wear. It's set in the modern day real world, with the addition of superheroes. If I wanted to think about the real world and its problems I would walk down the street or turn on the news. And all this would be fine, if it was avoidable!! But I go onto AO3, search DSMP, filter out "Alternate Universe - Superheroes/Superpowers" and "Alternate Universe - Modern Setting" and every related tag I can think of. And it's STILL more superheroes than it is actual canon-adjescent content!! I don't read DSMP fanfiction anymore and it's entirely because of this. Because I can't find the stuff I want to read. Tag your shit PLEASE oh my god I miss reading fanfiction

y'all are all for "murder and revenge plots" until is a 10 y/o boy who watched his mother die and started to become conflicted after realizing his moms killer is a secretly kind traumatized teenager to the point where the 10 y/o boy attempts to kill himself by giving himself up to assassins.

ken amada is such an interesting character with the unfortunate circumstances of having little screentime and atlus deciding to ruin his reputation forever by giving him a romance choice in the fem protag route. ken is a child who lost his mother at NINE. nobody ever believed him when he said that she was murdered, and that he saw who killed her. hes miserable, and all everyone around him does is give him sympathy while hes suffering and was forced to grow up before even going into middle school. hes angry and determined to get revenge on the person who killed his mother, and he doesnt even see the own value in living anymore beyond getting that revenge. hes more mature than most of his peers, and is desperate to be seen as an adult.but at the same time, he is still a child who likes superhero shows.

OH GOD WHERE DO I START

First there's the normal "The fandom hates kids" complaints of "He's so whiny" "he's so annoying" "oh my god kid just SHUT UP" y'know, the typical fandom stuff that makes you wonder if these people have ever talked to a child in their life

Second, there's (spoilers)...

October 4th, and the ENTIRE FANDOM is calling this kid a murderer.

For context, the moment in question doesn't necessarily paint him in the best light but its still understandable. Your team is going on a mission while Ken and another character named Shinjiro are away. In an alleyway, they have a talk where it is revealed that on that night a year priar to the game, Kens mom was killed in that allleyway by Shinjiro's Persona (Which, by the Rules of the Game Lore, basically means By Shinjiro). Ken tried to tell the authorities, the authorities didn't believe him because Magic Reasons and the death was ruled an accident.

Of course Ken is Fucking Pissed and wants revenge

However, because of Talk, he ACTIVELY CALMS DOWN, and realises "Hey, I probably shouldn't kill someone. Despite them, y'know, killing my mom"

HOWEVER REVOLVER JESUS COMES IN AND RUINS EVERYTHING BY SHOOTING SHINJIRO. AND LIKE, IF YOU PLAY P3P YOU CAN /AVOID THE DEATH THING/

AND EVERYONE BLAMES /KEN/. AND ONLY KEN.

And third (yes, there's a THIRD) IS THE FUCKING FEMC ROMANCE THING. WHICH JUST...SHOULDN'T HAVE EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. BUT NOW HE'S "SHOTA BAIT" BECAUSE WE HAVE TO BLAME THE CHILD FOR THE AUTHORITY FIGURE COMING ONTO THEM 😒

Currently, I'm writing for The Quarry and the Batfam fandom (primarily DickBabs and BatCat)... I have posted fics for The Flash TV series and Brooklyn 99 on AO3 in the past... plus, some other stuff that is only on my old fanfiction.net account (although I've been considering updating my old Young Justice fics, so I may post them on AO3 some day)

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Um, Rush Hour, Partners, Knight in Shining Armor, Loveable Nerds and Superheroes and Thank You, Becky Cooper - except for Partners, these are all Flash fics, which is wild, because aside from Rush Hour and Loveable Nerds and Superheroes, both of which I'm still quite proud of, I don't necessarily think that my Flash fics are my best works, but okay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

5. Do you respond to comments?

Sometimes? I often don't know what to say in response 😅- but I appreciate every single one of them sooo much! 💕

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Okay... so this question prompted me to do some re-reading of my older fics... and honestly? Nothing on my AO3 account had an angsty ending to begin with ^^; So I had to go waaaay back, to my old ff.net account - and I think my Young Justice fic "Pain" had the angstiest ending (and even then, it's pretty moderate... even 17-year-old me was fairly mellow ;)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Hmmh... Maybe my Flash fic "Coming Home"? It certainly has a very warm and fuzzy ending ☺️

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not that I can recall, no...

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope; smut is not for me

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

No, I don't really write crossovers (only multiple fandoms that already share a universe, i.e. Batfam-comic fandom)

Not that I know of...

Nope - since I'm a very slow writer, I wouldn't want to punish any potential co-writer of mine with that curse either...

To write? Hmmh... BatCat and DickBabs for sure! (Plus, LauraMax are getting there, too... I just need to give them some time to cement their position ;)

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Oh boy, there are plenty of fics I'm worried I'll never finish... but I choose to stay optimistic enough to think that I will, someday, finish all the WIPs that I want to finish... (please, writing Gods, please help me accomplish this task!!!!)

16. What are your writing strengths?

Umm... I like to think that my writing is quite, um, pleasant? What I mean is, that it's pretty accessible (not too convoluted or complex, but also not boring) and while I sometimes write angsty/tense/sad moments, my stories generally have happy endings... And even though my writing isn't exactly groundbreaking, I still stand by all the ideas/concepts behind every story I've written so far, so... yeah...

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

The process of writing itself (I have to fight for every single word I commit onto the page... I swear, me and writing are engaged in the most tedious wrestling match nobody ever wants to see... ever). I get excited for a particular story, start to jot down some basic ideas, maybe even put in some research for a few points that need to get tackled beforehand - and then psyche myself out of being able to write down that dang story 😩 (Doesn't help that I have a hard time making decisions and get super intimidated when faced with all the possible directions a story could go)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Depends on the context - if we're talking about two foreigners (e.g. Germans) that are talking to each other in their native tongue and maybe don't want to be understood by the people around them (who, for the sake of this argument, are all English speakers) - then, maybe I would give it a whirl, because it would fit the idea behind the conversation (especially if it's a short exchange that people, who would be interested in learning what the Germans said, could look up via Google translate) - but, imo, this only works in very specific circumstances and for short exchanges - otherwise it can get tedious real quick... and personally, I don't like writing in German and don't feel confident enough in my Spanish skills to attempt it for that language, so writing English all the way is it for me

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Um... a quick look at my old, old fanfiction.net account tells me that my first posted fanfic was for the "Sonny With A Chance" fandom when I was 14 years old - the writing is a little... rough, for sure 😅 (although, to be fair, this was written at a point when I had only had, like, 3-4 years of proper English class... all things considered, it's not that bad)

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Don't make me choose, I can't pick just one!

I very, very much love my BatCat fic "The Chase" - it just feels like pure Selina, the pacing of it is great and I think it portrays Bruce/Selina's relationship dynamic so very well (plus, it has some of my favorite sentences I've ever written in there!)

I also love Partners for being the longest, most ambitious story I've written so far (yes, despite the fact that I still need to add that epiogue!) and On the Reciprocal Attraction of Heavenly Bodies has the potential to become my best fic of them all, with the Austen-esque writing style and all the historical and literary research I plan on putting into it... I'm certainly very fond of the two chapters that already exist.

And This Is Not Over, But Just the Beginning is so fun and challenging in a different way; being a Quarry fic, with the whole werewolf element, it's darker and more angsty than anything I've written in a long time - but that's what makes it so fascinating for me to write (and read)

modern au where jack and davey meet at a con but jack isn't super into con-culture, he's just there bc race didn't want to go alone. not that he hates it! it's really fun, just not his scene.

but then he sees a 6'5 guy in a spiderman cosplay- not just a cheap costume, one that actually has semi-working web shooters and moving eyes and other details like that- and jack falls in love. like legitimately falls head over heels for this dude. bc he may not be a fanboy but Fuck he really likes superheroes and hot guys. and it becomes his mission to 1) see him without the mask and 2) get his number (if he's gay).

but plans don't always work.

jack manages to get a picture with him under the guise of showing his little brother back home, and they start talking a little afterwards so the guy pulls the mask up above his nose and mouth, but everything else is still hidden. jack swoons so hard he can barely talk. it's not his fault this God of a man is really hot and also funny and nice

they do have to go their separate ways, though, after some pretty heavy flirting- No Name Spider-Man had to go find his friend, who jack knows is named "Kath" because she called him and he said her name. it sucks for jack bc jack was super into the flirting and he felt like they were getting somewhere, too. but Spider-Man has to rush away and that's the last time jack sees him.

until! he gets to the hotel room that night and all he can talk about is the Spider-Man guy. race is sick of it so he posts the photo on Twitter with the caption:

hey if you were spidey at the con today and you have a bestie named kath: my brother thinks you're really hot. dm so he'll shut tf up

and what started as a harmless little tweet goes semi-viral with everyone trying to find this guy. kath sees the tweet, sends it to davey, and davey makes an entirely new Twitter just to talk to jack: but he still won't take off the spidey mask.

thus begins their flirting. davey remains anonymous and jack remains falling head over heels for this dude who's face he doesn't know. he eventually learns that his name is David, eventually learns he lives in Manhattan, eventually learns that they even go to the same university. this carries on for weeks; they flirt and talk about anything and everything, from how their day is going to what their weekend plans are to their deepest darkest secrets shared over Twitter DMs at three in the morning. they get really close, but the mystery is still there: who is David? jack can't find his main account, and they only talk on the Spider-Man account David made for that original message.

it's by random chance that jack stumbles into a little hole-in-the-wall café off campus where his barista sounds eerily similar to spidey from the con/spidey from voice memos on twitter.

barista boy sure is smiling at him a lot. barista boy has a spidey tattoo behind his ear. barista boy's name tag says David on it.

jack pauses his order. he puts two and two together.

"...Found you. Hi, Davey."

"Hi, Jackie. I don't know whether or not I should be creeped out or flattered."

"Wh-- Oh, no, I wasn't- I didn't, like, stalk you or anything, I'm so--"

"How about you make it up to me by taking me out to dinner?"

"Fucking finally. You're on."

You ever start reading a fic and halfway through realize the tags were incredibly misleading? Bc I was just reading an MCU fic tagged "Team Please-for-the-love-of-god-talk-to-each-other" or something similar, and I was like "oh so this is a middle-ground kinda fic. Usually I prefer straight-up Team Tony fics, but I can deal with this😊". So I happily started reading, but then it turned out that in the fic Tony "hadn't read" the Accords before the airport battle, and they had sneaked in clauses that dictated life imprisonment in the Raft for anyone who fit the superhero criteria and didn't sign them, locator cuffs for anyone who did sign them, and even experimentation on the mutants/superhumans???? People were blaming Tony for the whole ordeal left right and center, even Tony himself, and if they weren't blaming him they were insinuating he had to set aside his "pride" and apologize to Team Cap in order to "fix things". Then Tony had to practically beg Steve to forgive him for "not listening" in Siberia in order to get his help to rescue Peter, who was taken to the Raft and had also joined Team Cap's POV about the Accords. And in the middle of all that, as if that wasn't enough, someone actually tells Tony to get over the murder of his parents bc "thousands of others also have dead parents, big deal"??? That fic was blatantly anti-Tony and pro-Team Cap, to the point that I had to stop reading less than halfway through.

Like, I don't begrudge anyone who likes Team Cap fics, to each their own, but what part of that sounded like Team "They're All Equally At Fault"????? That was one of the most decidedly pro-Team Cap fics I've ever seen in my life. I'm BEGGING people to please for the love of god TAG TEAM CAP FICS AS SUCH, IT'S SUCH A BIG SQUICK FOR ME I HAD ACTUAL SHUDDERS I HATED IT NO NO NO STOP I CAN'T TAKE IT IT FELT LIKE VICTIM BLAMING IT'S TOO MUCH FOR ME

Sorry for the rant but I just- it hit me so hard, it made me feel awful for some reason, I had to tell someone who might understand

Oh oh wow yeah I fuckin hate when shit like that happens because at a certain point you're kind of like "not trying to be a bitch about it but I do feel like this mistagging was done at least semi on purpose??" and then you feel kind of paranoid and stupid about thinking it's that deep but you just can't help it???

But yeah I've run up on mistagged stuff like that before too and I hate it even if I understand how it can happen.

AWW THANK YOU! <3 I'm glad you're enjoying my fic! And boy, oh boy, do I have some Style fic recs! I'm not sure if you're looking for a specific flavour (i.e. angst, fluff, hurt/comfort, certain AUs etc) so I'll just recommend you something from multiple categories! I'm happy for you or anyone else to send asks for fic recs for specific flavours, though.

These are just some of the fics that came to mind. Someday, I will make a masterlist of my fic recs. I'm also going to assume you heard of the classics like hollycomb etc so most of these are ones I don't see get talked about as much in the fandom (at least to my knowledge - I don't interact with other style shippers that much ;-;)

Starting with ongoing fics to give my fellow WIP authors some love <3

Alter Ego by butterstotchcandy: Ongoing, but a REALLY GOOD TFBW + COLLEGE AU!! The basic premise is that everyone from South Park lost their memories during some mysterious amnesiac epidemic, and it's up to Kyle - who has recovered memories of his superhero identity and powers - to find the rest of the gang and the culprit. Everyone's characterisations are so well done here. It's the perfect mix between fluff and mystery and I'm so hooked and excited to see the plot unfold + Style's relationship grow! There's also bonus Creek here. :)

War Games by CiceroProFacto: Also ongoing, BUT THIS IS DELICIOUS ANGST. It's a modern world and Stick of Truth swap AU where both of the Kyle's have swapped worlds. Stan and Kyle are also bitter ex-best-friends so this is a must read if enjoy reading messy Style where they hate each other. :) I really love how the author characterises both the modern and Stick of Truth versions of our two boys.

Entries from the Past by ViviBaby69420: Ongoing! Wow, this one blew my mind when I came across it?! It's a really cool take on the Stick of Truth AU where King Kyle and Ranger Stan Marshwalker meet in the forest during the war. The worldbuilding is super detailed. Read this if you're more in the mood for a something reminiscent of classical novels. It's also the best execution of first person POV in all my time of reading fanfics (alongside Strider's Edge from Homestuck)

Mood Ring by HedgehogSquadGoals: Ongoing. Honestly, I'm not sure if the author is still in the fandom as the last update was in 2020, BUT STILL, I'm happy to have read this fic anyway, abandoned or not! <3 It's a very sweet and hilarious romcom of Stan being wildly in love with Kyle, who is so terribly oblivious his affections... and everyone else watches on in pain. The banter between everyone is on point and this is one of the few high school Style fics I adore.

Now for some complete ones:

Supportive Parenting by PervertCinnamonRoll: Complete and short fic in which Randy and Sheila try to get their sons together. :) Both of their characterisations are perfect - the most in-character Randy POV I have ever seen.

Sincerely, your super-best-friend Kyle. by cocoacremeandgays (part of a series called 'Three Sides') Oh god... this one, right here. It destroyed me for days. It is the best portrayal of mental health issues and ah, my heart hurts. :( BE VERY CAREFUL THOUGH if you're triggered by heavy topics. **Read ALL the tags and content warnings in full first, please; this one can be distressing.**

Sleeping Lessons by sleep2thefr33zing: One-shot of Stan struggling to sleep after Kyle gets accepted to Harvard! Very sweet and unique. I adore all of this author's works, actually - one of my inspirations from this fandom.

I Thought Soulmates Were Supposed to Be Easy by Anonymous: My favourite take on Style in the soulmates (name on wrist) trope! It shows a more complicated but 100% realistic side of the soulmates trope.

burning apart by clovariia: One-shot of high school Post-Covid timeline - a very sad one-shot of Stan's life during his teenage years, and Style is absolutely bittersweet :(

Connection Lost by VinnieDakota: Another Post-Covid one shot, but this time before the events of the specials! Kyle gets a drunk call from Stan after decades of not speaking to each other and it goes just as well as you would expect. Damn...

A few canon answers and a few non-canon answers :] (well.. it's an AU, so technically all of it is non-canon......BUT answers nonetheless!!!!)

I always thought Spike to be Sparky, this is a personal headcanon, and haven't really gotten any confirmation on it (since I never asked LOL :P) but here's an unfinished piece of mine of My Little Park Sparky and little Stan. Sorta make's sense too since Equestria Girls Spike is also a dog

As of now, I don't think anyone has thought up who Cadence would be, but of course, whoever Cadence is would be in a relationship with Shelley; who takes the role of Shining Armor.

Clyde takes the role of Trixie Lulamoon as the great and powerful Clyde Donovan!!

For Sunset Shimmer, there is this fan design by kyoplleeee on Twitter who assigned Heidi as Sunset. (along with Red as Glida and Wendy as Moondancer)

@cookieluvr5268 (the creator) mentioned that Thomas would take the role of Starlight Glimmer

(I found the original tweet suggesting Thomas' role too)

But there is also this post by @alenrainyartsblog that assigned Starlight as Jimmy

I'm cool with either. to be honest, I think it might be because I'm not that invested in Thomas or Jimmy as characters that much because I play favorites and I don't pay that much attention to them. Sorry Thomas and Jimmy fans, I still care about them but just not that much 😭

THE POWER PONIES X TFBW IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA I DON'T KNOW HOW I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE. Though if I'm being honest, I would love to have two separate designs for their version of the episode just for the funsies. I think translating their superhero personas into My Little Park is cool, but I kind of like entertaining the idea of redesigning the Power Ponies to fit My Little Park as well :3 (It's been a while since I watched the EP though... I don't hate it but it's just one of those episodes that I don't mind skipping lol) Also, Thank YOU for planning on making My Little Park stuff when I can't at the moment. The AU must LIVE ON even when I'm busy with other junk, and even if the creator of the AU has gone on break and the My Little Park hashtag on twitter has become so BARREN. Everyone on there has probably moved on but I SURE AS HELL HAVEN'T. I'm so hungry.............. Anyways, If you want more information and content about the AU check out @going-down-2-my-little-park!! It's a fan blog I made to archive everything about the AU, and soon this post is gonna be on there too! Also, follow the AU's creator @cookieluvr5268. On a few of them, yeah. People can think what they want, I know sometimes I walk a thin line when it comes to the "happy" bits or I sometimes make characters a little more unlikeable (I mean I consider it more realistic) but I sometimes get push back on it. Usually it's when I'm doing Irondad and they are like aren't father/son within seconds of seeing each other, lol. Opps, sorry I like realism in my superhero fics!

On Edge of Your Name, some people found Charlie unrealistic but I didn't think so at all.

Yes! Slash mostly but I've done het and femslash in the past.

What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Hm, there are a few. I've got an Irondad that's a Tony presumed dead that I'd like to get finished but it's so hard to keep Tony Stark presumed dead and not escape wherever he's at.

I've got a Charlie at uni fic that I really want to eventually finish but I lose steam on it everytime I try!

What are your writing strengths?

I think I can do dialogue pretty well at this point, I think I've mastered the flow of it.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Everything else? Ha.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I don't, lmao. I mean, I have but it's only small things that I can google.

First fandom you wrote for?

I think it was honestly something like Rainbow Brite or X-Men comics, to be honest. I also may have written self insert Power Ranger fics and Inspector Gadget lol oh and Captain Planet.

Don't judge me lol I was writing fic before I really understood what I was writing. I just liked adding myself into adventures with my favorite characters!

Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

I dunno, it's so hard to pick sometimes. I really love my SGA Disaster It Strikes On a Daily Bases, for Irondad it's always Just An Intern and I think I'm obsessed with my Narlie, And You Know For Me It's Always You.

2. least favorite character but a moment where you liked them

honestly i'm not sure who my least favorite characters might be...uhhhh idk maybe something like b*kugou from That One Teen Superhero Anime (censored so this doesn't show up in the tags), but i only watched the first season and remember so little from it that i don't remember a moment where i liked him LOL. there are very few characters i HATE hate but when i do it's rare there's a moment i like them at all

13. favorite books?

oh god i don't read as much as i used to. i've only been able to sustain my interest on stuff i'm fixating on or things i need to read for a class or group so that leads to a really weird mix of books lol. some of my faves i can think of off the top of my head are konrad curze: the night haunter by guy haley, the canterbury tales by geoffrey chaucer, and paradise lost by john milton. i also remember really liking pachinko by min jin lee and a place for us by fatima farheen mirza. AND THEN i'm also partway through a few books: i like the concept of the terror by dan simmons a lot but i'm not the biggest fan of the execution so far; manhunt by gretchen felker-martin seems GREAT from the small portion i read before i forgot i downloaded it; and i'm hoping to finish terror, love, and brainwashing: attachment in cults and totalitarian systems by alexandra stein as soon as i can find a physical copy for cheap lol

22. what things do you love about the world?

many things honestly...the beauty of nature and such aside, one of my favorite things is the endurance of humanity, and the way (for better or worse) humans haven't changed all that much throughout history, and how we're still painting on walls and making stupid jokes and telling stories and being a bit of an inconvenience-but-it's-okay-because-i-love-you-anyway. (that's one of the reasons the canterbury tales is a favorite book of mine, it's just fantastically human.)

30. favorite animals?

axolotls have been my favorite animal since i discovered they existed via a nat geo kids magazine as a child (their surge of popularity recently has given me mixed emotions, mostly of the oh god they're highly endangered and difficult to keep as pets so please don't get one just because they're cute variety), but i also adore jellyfish of all kinds and i consider myself a bottomless well of random-ass jellyfish facts. ask me about them if you want (please) (please)

10 comfort films

1. Matilda the musical (2022) I have watched this film so many times and it's not even been out for a year. I love it so much. It's one of the only dvds I got new from hmv as soon as it came out. I could quote the whole thing on command. I cry whenever I watch it. I feel like I've lived with this film for my whole life when in fact I only saw it on a whim with my parents, towards the end of its theatrical run, cos of fond memories of the show.

2. The Suicide Squad (2021) it's the best superhero film. I love it so much.

3. Time Bandits (1981) pure whimsy. I could also probably write a decent essay on the theology of this film but that's another conversation

4. War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) I could probably put any of the apes films here (except the 2001 one) but this one is just. So beautiful and so good and I love it so much

5. The Blues Brothers (1980) I hate illinois nazis

6. Doctor who city of death. Shut up it's on letterboxd it counts as a film. I have other favourites of the show but this is the one I put on to lift my mood

7. Blade Runner 2049 (2017) I only discovered this one like a week ago but will 100% be rewatching many times

8. Star Wars (1977) is it a hot take to say, andor aside, the franchise has never been as good as that first film? I treasure my unspecialised edition dvd BTW I haven't watched the cgi monstrosities in about a decade

oh dude holy fucking shit . so. u know i have been posting about jrwi it has been my main thing since like november. well. in case u do not know. its a dnd podcast run by charlie slimecicle, grizzlyplays, condifiction and bizly. their main campaign is called Riptide and its the one with the fish guy and all the pirates. WELL. they have a patreon and on their patreon they sometimes do mini campaigns! let me preface this by saying i have never even REMOTELY had an interest in paying for ANYTHING on patreon only because i fuckinf hate subscription payments and also im usually hesitant about paying money for fandom things especially in the content creator sphere etc etc you know how it is . HOWEVER. god their pther campaigns are so fucking worth it dude. the long running secondary main campaign thats been going along around the same time as riptide is called Prime Defenders and its a superhero themed one! i am just at the beginning of season 2 rn its so good william wisp my absolute beloved. (something else rlly cool is that they rotate being the dm for each of the campaigns and i think that makes each of them really fresh and unique bc everyone has a different dm style and a different way of telling a story. god i fucking love dnd and collaborative storytellint its incredible)

ANYWAY IM GRTTING SIDETRACKED. so during hiatuses from riptide and pd they sometimes run limited campaigns that only go for a handful of epsiodes. one of this is. regrettably. called the Suckening. its run using the vampires: masquerade ttrpg setup and ruleset which is. obviously. centered around vampires. CHARLIE SLIMECICLE is the dm and i fucking love it because god that man has a mind for horror. (he also ran blood in the bayou which was a 4-epispde mini campaign using call of cthulu and ive listened to it like 3 times now bc its got nasty bug body horror in it hooooly shit its so good) ANYWAY. um . its not *as* homoerotic as the fanart makes it out to be. just a warning. but there is a scene where two homies drink each others blood (one is a human one is a vampire. theres this think in the masquerade called blood bonding and its like. if you get a human to drink your blood on three separate occasions they become your servant basically. really homoerotic stuff in theory) and when the vampire is scolded for it he goes "well he already loves me. hes my boy" and they generally have that dynamic going on. fizzfangs i lvoe you.

ANYWAY UHHHHH. the first ... four? five? episodes are up for free on YouTube and theyve got a fun little visual novel style to them with the official character art :] heres a link 2 the first ep!!

Probably Bone by Bone (PJO, everybody dies) because that’s just straight up the angstiest fic I’ve ever written in general.

Honestly? I have no idea. Most of my fics have relatively happy endings. I’m gonna say... Lasting Moment (Pipabeth, alternate universe) because it’s the one that is the most happy at the end compared to the beginning.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I haven't yet and I’m really happy about that!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I haven’t yet but idk, maybe someday when I feel more confident with my abilities.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I don’t write crossovers. I don’t have any good reason, I simply haven’t.

I hope not.

I have not but if I’m ever bored enough and have the inspiration I could translate perhaps a drabble or two into German or Portuguese.

Not really. Like, I started one with my friend but it is not finished. Lemme just say, very difficult to co-write fanfic.

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Based on ones I’ve written I’d say Pipabeth as I enjoy writing them but honestly? Despite writing a majority ship-based stories and really enjoying them, I’m not a huge shipper in general. I’m rather neutral on ships for the most part.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have no published WIPs, mostly because I need to have the fic at least 75% of the way done to even consider publishing it, but I’ve had stuff in my drafts forever. I’ve got the one where the PJO kids are doing Spamalot, the Piper Friendship Fic, the Valgrace College AU, the one where Piper is just jealous of Percy, the Fierrochase beach fic. And more. So, so many more, so if you’re interested...

16. What are your writing strengths?

No clue. Does being really happy with most first drafts count?

Commitment. I usually have larger ideas than I know how to portray and I tend to rush the ideas that I have which is why most of my fics are pretty short.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

With the languages I speak I haven't done this in a fic yet, but if the opportunity ever arose I’d be very excited. Plus, I have done lines of dialogue in Portuguese for an original short story (unpublished).

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Oh. Ew. Harry Potter :( It doesn’t exist anymore nor do I know what it was about but I can guarantee you it was the first.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

I’m not really sure. I don’t really remember how much I like things I’ve written. I’m just gonna suggest some I really like and haven’t mentioned instead of one favorite: Wedding Dances (Sadie/Lacy future fic), Red Means Power (Heathers fanfic), and The Worst Possible Time And Place (Rachabeth as superheroes).

Forum for talking to, about and around superheros. Kara has two, one for SG, and one for Kara. So does Lena, one for Lena and one for her anonymous side...

The problem happens when Lena needs to open up. And, well, SG has an AMA page, so... She does...

Alex told her it was a bad idea in the first place. One mis-click, one tiny detail of information, one post too many, can out her sercret as the caped crusader in red and blue. Kara did it anyway. One account for herself, Kara Danvers, cub reporter for CATCO magazine. And one account for the cities resident superhero, Supergirl.

Kara’s account took some time to gain traction, whereas Supergirls account blew up overnight. Millions of followers, thousands of DM's and all she did was post a short video of herself flying over the city, waving at her phone for a split second before accidentally dropping her phone, catching it mid-air, sighing when she looked at her phone to see the freshly cracked screen, and sheepishly asking if anyone knows a good phone repair store.

Alex kept saying to shut it down, J'ohn shrugged, saying something about it not being his monkey or is circus, Nia took a video for her own account as dreamer, of Supergirl , picking up a cold slice of pizza and just as she was about to take a bite she hesitated. Looking around for brief moment, Supergirl then laser-eyed the pizza slice until the cheese was bubbling, and finished the slice in 4 bites.(tagging Supergirl in the video of course)

Kara thought it was a fun way for people to get to ask a Kryptoian a question, and no matter how much Alex argued Kara set up an anonymous 'Ask me anything!' Button on her Supergirl page and let the questions roll in. She decided every Thursday night she would answer questions on a live stream from the clouds or a skyscraper rooftop, and show the world the hidden part of herself.

Everything went smoothly until, maybe 3 weeks in.

She didn't know why, or if the universe hated her and wanted to watch the world burn, but tonight was a...different...difficult live stream.

"You saved me last weekend. How can I ever repay you? 😛😘"

Kara stared at the question on the screen. The floods of hearts and crying laughing emojis queuing her in on how this wasn't a normal question.

"This sounds like the beginning of a porno"

" thirsty Thursday amirite?"

"I have no money, but what if I can pay you in...something else?"

"Bow chicka wow wowwww"

The more she read the comments the harder she blushed and she soon found herself hovering in the sky, legs crisscrossed, and free hand pressed to her lips in a way that the chat on the live stream could only interpret as " Oh God what have I done?".

"So, well, no payment needed. Just glad I can help. I don't understand the winking but I don't think I want to get into that so...happy to help!" Supergirl answers after a full three minutes of blushing. She quickly presses the next button to read the next question.

"The feminine urge to get railed my Supergirl in a her outfit with the skirt. Could you oblige?"

She curses in kryponese. She curses so fast and so harsh that the live stream chat practically vomits crying laughing and heart emojis. She's suddenly regretting this live stream, the account, and the damned 'Ask Me anything button'.. if Alex could see her now.

"I, uh, well," Kara stammers as the view count ticks past 100,000 people. "So, the thing is-"

"Railed with the pants tho!!"

"LOL someone forgot to screen her questions..."

"Can I volunteer? Wait..hold on..can..wait.. hold on...both? Can I have? Hold on..."

"Supergirl strikes me as a bottom actually..."

"A bottom? Why would you-" Kara almost face palms . She knew reading the chat comments could be trouble. The chat suddenly floods with a flurry of " SUPERTOP" and "SUPERSUB" and Kara regrets 100% of her life choices.

" Listen guys, I'm, well I actually prefer, okay uh." Kara shakes her head, almost caught herself answering the wrong question. "The skirt is in storage. Sorry." She finishes with a blush so red she fears it will never go away. She presses the next button, hopefully the next question will be more tame.

"I want to lick your biceps. Send tweet."

"Oh my Rao, you have the wrong platform." Kara rushes to say and taps the next question button.

"The next time you save me im asking you out on a date FYI."

The chat erupts in emojis, and comments are flashing on the screen so fast Kara can't attempt to read them for more than 2 seconds. She screen is so bright from the messages and the emojis, she briefly drops her phone but thankfully manages to get back in her grasp.

"Oh Rao, who even are you?!" She squeaks at her phone.

"Damn I wish that were me."

"The gays are absolutely feral tonight."

"Do you think she has abs of steel??????"

Kara’s about to hit next when she phone buzzes with a text from Alex.

"Told u so. SHUT IT DOWN. BTW lol...ur face"

"Oh no!" Kara horrifically fake gasps. "There's been a crime!" She pretends to hear sirens. "Sorry everyone! Gotta go find a date! I mean- get a date! SAVE! Save my date! -Rao take me." Kara sighs and lowers her phone away from her camera screen. She feels her blush burn her cheeks as if they were on fire. She takes a deep breath and lifts her phone up again. " I-" Kara groans as she reads a few chats about "gay panic" and decides to just be done with this horrendous live stream. "I can't even try to come back from that. Sorry everyone I gotta go" she says as the view counter ticks past 400,000.

Kara ends the live stream and starts to fly towards the DEO. As she flys past L-corp she can't help but notice the sound of a familiar voice thats shes 90% positive belongs to Lena Luthor, cry laughing so hard that she ends up struggling to breathe.

ultimately to me it only depends on the ship dynamic itself? I enjoyed the ship in Canis: Dear Hatter, but it's not because of the age gap. I also will get kinda dissuaded if one of them isnt an adult but the other is when they first meet

codependency 9/10

oh boy me and my gf for real. we met through killugon and codependency really is killugon. It can be extremely cathartic to see it in fiction to me

enemies to lovers 8/10

it really depends on who handles it. i dont like how reylo does it, but man, This Is How You Lose the Time War is like a masterclass in how to do it. I rate it more favourably cause I think I enjoy the slight forbidden aspect to it? And I can immediately think of more stories that do this well (in the sense that, "enemies" are more like two rival factions and both sides are like equally grey, and your rival just so happens to be your equal, you hold no grudge besides what your faction has told you to believe)

now THIS has a nice flavour. I love it when it fulfills that meme "you wanna fuck me so bad you look stupid". Bonus points if the benefits begin when A is injured and goes to B's place for shelter (it was great watching this happening in zoolander)

can be handled so well or SO BADLY. it helps when any act of possessiveness isn't too serious but is also laced with the real angst, the good shit, the flavour of insecurity. it helps even more if the couple knows how to communicate through this rather than lashing out at each other with passive aggressive arguments, which I hate to see :)

opposites (like grumpy×sunshine, etc) 10/10

LITERALLY KILLUGON. literally all of our preteen angel/devil OC obsession coming back as a popular trope. what's not to love about opposites being together and balancing each other out!

So a poly ship took over my brain for a good 2 years. I'm in the middle of writing a fic about how three people get together, and even researching by picking up The Ethical Slut (which btw is a great read on how to have healthy relationships in general too, it has so much good advice)

pregnancy -9/10

It's a personal choice, only because i'm scared of conceiving so i really prefer not to see it in fic. Giving it a -9 cause I do have exceptions in fic (being whether it was recommended to me or whether it's from authors whose work I enjoy)

second chance 5/10

Again it’s really down to the characters and how it’s handled. I enjoyed it in some fics I’ve read long ago, but I won’t go out of my way to find it

sex to feelings 10/10

the one thing i love about friends with benefits is exactly this. the potential for MESS

slowburn 9/10

It can be so so good. A kagehina fic once destroyed me with how slow the burn was but it was so neat to see it growing slowly but surely. I think it can only work if you and the author agree on the eventual endgame ship

it can be a bit tired, but I still personally like reading it! I like any soulmates au with a good spin on it though, like a potential fear behind not liking your destined partner or liking someone else who isnt your soulmate

At present, I’m only really active in the MCU/Irondad fandom; but I’ve written in the past for Marvel, Sherlock, Deadpool, TASM, Supernatural, Glee, Doctor Who, & Psych.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do! For the most part. At a certain point I fall behind in responding and always feel a little awkward responding to older comments (a pleasant shyness); but I read all of them and deeply appreciate every single one.

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I think my answer to that might be different than other people’s answers! I’d probably say count to ten; it’s a fill I wrote for the Whumptober 2019 prompt ‘shaky hands’, primarily from Tony’s perspective, post-Snap.

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Happy in tone, or in what happened? I like to think all of my fics end on the happiest note possible; I can’t stomach bad endings. Put em through hell, but make it worth it at the end.

I’d still have to say the world is not kind. It’s the way I choose to believe Endgame ended (until I get around to writing that giant fix-it).

Do you get hate on fics?

Not that I’ve noticed. Occasionally people will get a little pointed, but I try not to take anything personally; I’m just glad they got to the end and were moved by it enough, in whatever way they were moved, to comment.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I have written smut, primarily M/M, but only rarely in my published fics.

Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I’ve written crossovers; I’d like to write more of them eventually. The craziest one was The Adventures of Dean Winchester & Friends, for the SuperWho Big Bang 2012. It was ridiculous, self-indulgent crack. We’ve all been there.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Surprisingly yes! I was honored and pleasantly bewildered. Peter Parker’s Night Clinic for Kinda Crappy, Accidental Superheroes was translated into Suomi (Finnish).

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I have not had the pleasure! I’d really love to, I think that would be a unique experience and I love collaborative art.

What’s your all time favourite ship?

Oh god all time?? I presume romantic and not platonic ships, but I’ll give both. Romantic has to be Sterek, once a Teen Wolf girlie, always a Teen Wolf girlie. Platonic is Irondad, bar none.

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

It’s a threeway tie between the sequel to the world is not kind, my Pepper Potts character study piece, and the Infinity War / Endgame rewrite. Of the three, that last one has the least words put to page; but never say die, I still chip away at them all.

What are your writing strengths?

I can write a good emotional through-line. I like to call it emotions porn. Description has never been my issue, and commas love me.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing action, or solid plot. I’m not much of a mastermind, so I have a hard time with penning longer works.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I’ve done it before when necessary; I’m forced to use Google Translate but if anyone ever wants to correct me I know it’s probably wrong! 🤣

First fandom you wrote for?

Since the site is gone from the face of the earth, I’ll tell you. Jonas Brothers RPF.
