(Replying to the anon that was talking about Clotted Cream) Was it ever implied that Clotted Cream's biological father left or that he ever had one? I don't remember hearing anything about that at all. Light Cream could be a single parent like Hollyberry and Dark Cacao. Speaking of which, I wish we had more cookies that are canonically mothers. We only have Hollyberry, and there are plenty of fathers. Dark Cacao, Almond, Peperoncino, Butterbear, Buttercream Choco, even though nobody knows that. (He's Cheesecake's dad!)

Cini "Love-- Yes, if I've gotten the right translation here; there are a few Irken words that somewhat match the definition-- Yes, I love Spinch very much. The best day of my life is the day I first realized this. It's a love that has survived centuries which is a miracle. I was unable to express just how much love for her I had for most of the years we spent alive in each other's company."

Spinch "Same cruiser. I never really knew how to interpret his acts of affection or how to appropriately respond to them."

Cini "Roundness and cuteness certainly captured my attention. Round is my favorite shape."

Cini "But, what keeps me drawn to Spinch is her stability-- by that I mean, I know I can trust her with my life, soul and PAK. Spinch is a very calm, very responsible, very practical drone. She spent most of her adult life crunching numbers, sorting data and presenting me with her work to help me make informed, helpful decisions for the empire. She was blasting GOOD at it too.

Whatever my question, whatever my problem, Spinch would guide me to the best available solution and did so with little to no negativity or criticism.

I'm a flighty, rather selfish drone by nature if left unchecked. Spinch kept me grounded as a tallest and as a Irken drone. She is a much needed reminder of what is truely important. The kind of support and friendship she has given me over the centuries is priceless."

I, um.. I don't think there's a drone on Irk who wouldn't find him visually stunning."

Cini *long, sad exhale* "Foo. Hearts stopped throbbing over me once my third century jubilee was celebrated."

Spinch *dismissive hand motion* "I always thought of him as attractive, ever since I watched his debut as ruling tallest on live streaming.

His energy was-- is unmatched. His aura is so blinding and warm; it's undeniable. The best part about that is, it's infectious. When I started working on his personal staff, my confidence soared for the first time in my life. Cini always spoke to me kindly. He never made me feel small or inferior, even though he towered over me in every way.

I'm a personified whisper; a squishy throw pillow with a PAK. I never took risks. Never engaged in conflict unless forced. Never drew attention to myself. Cini's showmanship always impressed me because of this. He's so brave; it's inspiring.

Not once did I ever feel valued as an Irken until I became acquainted with him. He'll always have my love and loyalty for that."

Hooked up to a heart ♥️ monitor since Friday for the next 3 weeks… harvested couple days ago… chopped with onions…roasted…vacuumed sealed … and into our new upright freezer they went for 34 future meals. We already had a couple of nights that dropped to the 30’s but I sure covered my hot peppers to pick sometime tomorrow 😆 & I did mail a box of them to my parents.

I have a theory that the nicknames you give your best friend get increasingly unhinged over time the same way the things you call your beloved cat get real questionable over time.

I’ve written about pepperoncini shrimp, but lately since bay scallops have been on sale, I’ve had M go to the store on Sundays to pick up some of them instead, and we’ve been messing with the recipe to make it work for these little beauties.

Also, I make pepperoncini martinis all the time, and I don’t think I’ve ever officially written about them, but they are so delicious and are the other reason why I keep jars of these neon green peppers in my fridge at all times.

But I must extend the praise; I am only "mighty" because of the labor, loyalty and endless self-sacrifice of my drones. Every accomplishment listed in my stats was made possible because of the achievements of former tallests. My Empire is prosperous and vast because of the invaluable contributions from my allies. Bounty and fortune to them! My role is to utilize these assets to the upmost benefit for everyone involved-- to the best of my abilities.

[Tallest Pepperoncini was originally supposed to be a prop/ sidenote in my 18-years-later au, but his origin story just took off. He's such a big, sparkly ham, but kind-hearted. Glad other people found him as fun as I did fleshing out his character.

As for my lore, it's amazing what having no social life and a desperate need for escapism can accomplish. XD

But, seriously, I can't take all the credit. Much of my Irken fan lore is a collaboration of the imaginations, rp sessions, asks, and submissions of @narlowemcfarlowe , @a-wanderin-whirlybird , @krizaland @evrelai @monsoonceroom (and I'm sure I'm neglecting to mention someone; if I did, please forgive me. My memory is shit; long term and short term.)
