Imagine, if you will:

Danny, a private eye in Gotham, ever the hard boiled detective, sitting in his dark office, drinking coffee you could use to tar a roof. The office isn't in a good neighborhood but rent still ain't cheap. He's fixing to get a new case on his desk soon

Enter one Timothy Drake-Wayne, CEO of Wayne Enterprizes. He walked in shirt unbuttoned dangerously low in a suit sharp enough to cut yourself on and bags under his eyes to large to be counted as carry on. Mr. Drake has a job for him, one he wants to keep quite, and one important enough that he's willing to add a couple zeros to Danny's usual rate. This job is a dream come true... almost too good to be true...

Tim Drake aka Red Robin(yummm) needs plausible deniability on a case tied to his civilian identity and so hires a PI and lays down a trail of clues for him. All the while playing up the Noir tropes to flirt with the cute detective.

why doesn't he just take care of it as Red Robin? Shhhhh... the detective is cute and he's having too much fun playing the homme fatale

Bonus: Immediately after wrapping up Tim's case Kon walks into Danny's office dolled up in a vintage dress, period appropriate makeup done, all to play the part of the Femme Fatale and do the exact same thing Tim did. Does he know Tim literally just did that? Maybe, maybe not

Angel Dust is the next to get redeemed to Heaven. No one expects it, he himself least of all. He’s reluctant to adjusting to life as it is in Heaven. Despite Charlie’s efforts to redeem him, he’s always known the end goal wasn’t exactly his scene, and this is proved to him as he’s shown around the pearly gates. He doesn’t even know what to do up there, or what he can do- it’s so different from the life he’s used to. It’s recommended to him that he meets up with family members he might have not seen in years. He glowers. He knows none of his mafia family members made it to heaven. Except for…

Molly. And he runs into her. He didn’t expect it, but he gets emotional. He didn’t realize fully how he missed her. There’s so much he wants to say and so little he’s proud to share, but before he can say a word he’s cut off by a “I’m sorry, who are you?”

What, did you think the eternally enthusiastic and squeaky clean innocent people of Heaven would remember their missing loved ones, their loved ones that had been damned? They can’t.

This sets Angel in motion. He’s getting out of here. There’s nothing for him here anyway. He thinks of the austere, pristine environment. The hush around the mildest curse word. And he puts into action a strange plan that just might work. He’s going to “sin” his way back to Hell.

I’d imagine his spree is disruptive but not deadly, and more violent than sexual in terms of what ‘sinful behavior’ he goes for. Breaking windows, looting, mild arson, spreading drugs and alcohol among the angels, making the uptight faint from the most childish of curse words and cackling all the way.

Pentious catches wind of Angel’s new course of action and takes it as his responsibility, having been redeemed before Angel, to right Angel’s wrongs. Pentious doesn’t know what Angel is aiming to do and just sees chaos rising. Pentious can’t lie that the chaos still is tempting for him, but, being so dramatic in his dedication to his new role, he does just as Charlie taught him and apologizes furiously as he races along always a few steps behind Angel. “IM SORRY IM SORRY IM SORRY” -as if very earnestly patting little kiddie bandaids on gaping wounds.

After some time of this Angel does get what he wants and is sent back to Hell.

But the damage he accomplished in Heaven is lasting, and not in the way you might think. The people of heaven are remembering or being introduced to their vices thanks to the reintroduction of sex, violence, drugs and alcohol to their society among many other things. And before the seraphim could even hope to ease everyone, the people of heaven have slipped into completely neutral ways of life - leading into turmoil over what can truly be called a sin or something that makes one worthy of hell.

Because if half the things they used to penalize for are still sins, they now have to send almost the entirety of heaven down.

The Dragons Bride: Every year Muse A’s village sacrifices a “pure maiden” to the Dragon that terrorizes them. No one knows what happens to these maidens, only that they are never seen again. This year, Muse A has been chosen to be the sacrifice. The ceremony happens and as usual the Dragon arrives and carry’s Muse A away, who passes out on the way there. When A awakens, she is not greeted by a blood thirsty beast like she expects. Instead, what seems like a human is leaning over her. A quickly realizes this is no ordinary human, the first sign being the horns protruding from their head. This person (Muse B) then explains that they, in fact, are the dragon. They state that they can shapeshift between the two forms. B then explains that they always let the Maiden of the past go free with a small amount of gold from their hoard so they can start a new life. However, for muse A he has a proposal. They ask Muse A to become their bride and bear their children. Will A accept?

Whumperee trope that I love: hurting others to save them.

Whumper hurts whumpee because if they get too close, whumpee will suffer terrible consequences. Or maybe whumpee is being threatened without their knowledge and only whumper allying with the enemy is keeping them alive.

Whumpee ends up loathing whumper and casting them as their nemesis, but whumper can't tell them it's all a lie, that they are acting so evil to protect them. All they can do is be despicable and play the villain because if they don't, and they fail to protect whumpee, they could never live with themselves.

One night, Potter arrives at the Manor, his anger evident, and Draco can only imagine why. He was just thankful that he didn’t jinx him on sight, given his set of skills as an Auror, given what had happened between him and Hermione. Due diligence, he guessed.

“Why are you doing this, Malfoy?”

His first words to him, fuming.

Meanwhile, he can only pretend.

“Please, Potter, I don’t need you coddling me.”

“I’m here for Hermione. And you hurt her.”

He flinches. He knows why he’s here, of course. He’d hurt her when she was the one who confessed first. He’d hurt her when he didn’t respond to her feelings. When he only stared at her. When he only retreated.

“Probably better now rather than prolonging it.”

Potter pulls him by the shoulder a bit too hard.

“What are you doing? You’re in love with her!”

Draco tries so hard not to lose the walls in his mind.

“I never said that.”

“I can see it in your eyes, Malfoy.”

He almost laughs, but there is only the unease in his breath. He seethes instead.

“There’s nothing in my eyes. Do you see images of her anywhere? What the fuck have you been drinking—”

“Arsehole! It’s when you’re with her, you’re happier.”

Draco blinks, then sighs when he looks down at his feet. He knows that. There's no need to tell him that.

“Why, Malfoy?”

Draco smiles, the saddest one he could muster.

“It’s because I don’t deserve her, Potter,” he says, shrugging Potter’s hand off his shoulder. “She deserves someone better.”

When Potter leaves the Manor, Draco pretends not to hear his last words to him.

“You’ve been better than you were, Malfoy. I just hope you see that.”

I just hope you see that, her voice echoes in his mind instead of Potter’s, and it accompanies him in his dreams until he sees her again.
