#ts4 #simblr #ts4 edit #ts4 render #sims 4 #myedits #kelly #dhestyn #i apologize for the long post #this originally had 6 photos for a grid format but #i don't really like the other 3 so. yea. #full disclosure it is actually very rare for kelly to wake up at the same time as dhes #kel is literally a cat. he will sleep 16 hours a day if dhes lets him #& dhes gets out of bed at like 4:30/5 every morning #he'll cook a full breakfast & do a load of laundry & go for a jog before going to work #he also usually feeds duder bc if he doesn't she will yell & bother kelly until he wakes up #kel has to be woken up gently or he'll get cranky lol #he tends to wake up later in the morning & pick up lunch for everyone at the shop before walking to work #then the boys will drive home together at the end of their shifts #dani kind of just lets them come & go whenever they want. they mostly make their own hours #she doesn't care as long as they show up for work at some point

a detective who has a partner🔍 and a partner💕 who are friends so the three of them end up doing a lof things together and the detective refers to them as "my partners" and doesn't realise this makes everyone think they're polyamorous (they do end up polyamorous by the end of the story)

#once people start making remarks and they do realise they're apprehensive to the idea at first #(the detective that is. the partners just find it funny i think) #in a shocked and confused way #like “why would you think that! a is my best friend and b is... also my best friend. but one of them is my colleague and the other my spous #“i do not have an unprofessional relationship with my colleague! ...well i do #but a completely platonic one!“ #(they do get up to a lot of hijinks together and it wouldn't be true to call them completely professional) #the detective doesn't stop calling them 'my partners' they just have a monologue about the nature of their relationship locked and loaded #it's a friends to lovers very slow burn to get to the throuple part but we do get there eventually #character concept #yes i initially imagined the detective as a man because i love men and most famous detectives unfortunately are men #however this would work very well in any gender scenario. all three of them are non-binary in different ways. all of them are women. #i think the main detective would be really fun if she was a Philomena Cunk type of character. very smart but So dumb and self-assured #really the main thing the detective needs to be is autistic

Yahoo! :D just got my felting supplies back yesterday and i couldn't control myself so i made zedaph ahaha,, i didnt take any progress shots bc.. i already added felt to the armature before i remembered to take pictures,, so take a bunch of glamor shots instead! and a mumbough for scale :)

and some fun facts ^^ he's the biggest felt ive made so far, and my first try at using some fluffs as a part of the design? it's really hard to tell but the back of his legs have fluff XD i need a better method of applying fluff hehe

he's fully articulated in his arms and legs, and his head can swivel juust a bit. i honestly really really like him hes bigger than my hand and fun to hold XD

Hi, I kind of have a question, Adam said that can't walk in the sun when doesn't drink blood, but what exactly happens? Do vampires just burn immediately, begin to be more sensitive to sunburn or is it another kind of thing?

so, in time and time again I really wanted blood to be something of a medicinal need for vampires. it's not a 1:1 metaphor of course, please don't try to think of it that way, but it's how I conceptualize it.

He needs blood to go in the sun, to heal, to "be something of a human again" and it also grants him the ability to time travel, shapeshift, compel others...

Without blood, he can't do these things. So, to be honest, without blood vampires would just... die. They can't exist without it. being in the sun uses blood, its dangerous. it wears you down. it makes you weaker. it can kill you!

I realize this ends up making my vampires feel weak, but... it's a metaphor for chronic illness. They have limited energy and if they do not take the time and the 'medications' they need to recover, they'll become weak or die. They have to manage their limited energy.

there's extreme privilege for vampires who have steady access to blood, like Adam does. His access to blood lets him time travel, transform, go in the sun constantly, etc. Vampires without as much access have to become nocturnal, they get stuck in one place, they have to be careful because even a small cut can cost precious resources...

A desperate vampire might end up hurting someone for what they need. a vampire with people who are willing to help them can get by, or even thrive. a vampire with none of these will die.

I know it's not the most satisfying answer, but it is my answer! My experiences being chronically ill are very much at play here.
