Use an LED tealight or pillar candle and wrap with decorative papers. Use color and other correspondences and enchant your tools as you work! Attach personally meaningful enchanted symbols, charms, confettis, crystals, petitions, and whatever else your heart desires! No fire safety needed here kids (except hot glue gun=hot). What does it mean when a love/protection spell candle I made with Kali spills all over me? It didn’t hurt, specifically it spilled on my left breast and my left foot. Completely melted wax and I feel nothing but a little warm. I smell pretty good now 😇

saw a post earlier about how frustrating it is when companies put 'spices' or 'esssntial oils' with no specifics for people with allergies and tbh it's a big problem in the witch community as well. Like, I get wanting to keep your magic secret, but I have pets and live with people with respiratory problems so I'm going to need more than 'essential oils' and 'herbs'. there have many times at witch stores (especially ones that sell local handmade items that don't always have detailed descriptions) where I ask what's in an incense blend, or what's in this candle and their guess is as good as mine so who really knows. If I'm going to be burning a dressed candle i want to know what's in it! I see this with a lot of 'blends' as well. Sometimes I can tell what is what but my dried plant knowledge is limited. I see a lot of spell candles with herb jars/stones/bones attached but no context for what they are!! I understand wanting to keep recipes secret, but we have got to make this stuff a little more accessible. There's so much wasted magic and potential on items that don't tell you what they are!!

Finally got out of my armchair and made something I had the idea for for a while. I turned a LED candle (can't have real candles because health) into a divination candle. This way I can burn it each time I practice divination at my divination station (love that term so much!)

Added an "unveiling" sigil and also wrote the word on a little label. There's charms that have to do with divination as well as a small spellbottle. I really liked how it turned out considering this is a new mixed media technique for me. This was really fun to make <3
