i think the Grand Boopocalypse of 2024 has been especially marvelous because it's been such a great way to find new blogs and mutuals that are completely outside your normal circles, or maybe even in your circles but you had never interacted before. our hellsite has been alive today in a way i don't remember seeing in such a concentrated way for the last near-decade i've been here. but it's been so enlivening to be giving and receiving boops to/from blogs i would have never found otherwise, and thus finding some blogs who i'm really glad to now be following and all because of an april fools' day dedicated to a whole userbase gleefully bapping each other into a chaotic bonding experience

man, the bit where joel says “andy’s coming” and joel, grian, and scar all pause and stop moving. but Tango doesnt. it just got me thinking about Team Rancher so much because like. the thing that made them so good to me is the fact that Tango was the only one that seemed to respect Jimmy and his vision, the only one that didn’t bully him and put him down. with Tango joining fWhip as his engineer i really hope that doesnt start to turn Tango against Jimmy as well. Joel and fWhip pushing how “corrupt” Jimmy is... Im worried. But Tango made a promise to Jimmy that they’d ranch it up together later. Jimmy deserves to have someone that wont constantly treat him like a toy, steal his hat, kill him to sell his head in toy shops... Tango’s one of the only people that’s really been on his side recently. He was hands down the only person that respected him and his skills in Double Life. He trusted he could go to the deep dark, alone, and not die. I hope that these upcoming episodes dont change that. I hope Rancher Duo can continue to be a dynamic of mutual respect.

it's april, which means it's my yearly tarot anniversary here on atmymercy! eee! i'm so excited and i decided to create this post to inform you all about what i have planned!

for my two-year anniversary!!!

So this is my own personal headcanon of some of the ages of some members of the guild.

Honestly I haven't thought of everyone but this is a very general rough idea I use when writing fics.

So initially I feel like Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Levy, and Lisanna would all be a similar age, at around 16ish at the start of the anime and finishing at around 17-18ish

Gajeel, Elfman, Juvia, Freed, Bickslow, and Evergreen would all be a little older maybe about 17-18 at the start.

Mira, Laxus, and Erza would all be around 20ish at the start

and then we have Wendy who I imagine was about 12 when she was first introduced, she was so smol.

But yeh if anyone else has any different HC I'd love to hear them. I've seen the ages of the cast debated a lot in fan spaces but I don't think (and you're free to correct me if I'm wrong) they have any canon ages.

"oh grian's a parrot oh grian's X-bird oh the hermits are blah blah blah" shut up. They're all Bowerbirds. Grian's specially a flame Bowerbird. Guys, they BUILD THINGS. sometimes they can spend YEARS on their projects. Incredible build projects, range of appearances, they imitate different things to not only keep away predators but also impress each other (they can imitate CHILDREN! wood chopping! Dogs!), And they play hide and seek with each other!!! Oh my god.

EDIT: coming back to add that bowerbirds will literally break each other's bowers--basically for fun! (Ignoring the fact it's to sabotage chance of finding a mate cause I'm not bringing hermitshipping into this.) They just. Tear things apart or litter their "yards" like. Does this not fit perfectly for them???

Paramount+ has joined the streaming hellbin and announced the removal of several shows from their service. Essentially erasing these works from being enjoyed and appreciated even by people who worked maybe for years on them. Just for a few tax write-offs.

At this point torrenting these shows before they disappear is morally correct. Save them.

I don’t think anyone actually involved in their creation would blame you.
