I've been wanting to do this forever so why not now

RATING SPYRO'S MODELS IN EACH GAME (these are the models themselves, not like his designs outside of the games in like promotional materials and stuff. That may be a later post idk yet)

Spyro 1

The classic Spyro design. The small line of blue scales. The little yellow gradient on his cheeks and snout in cutscenes. The brown horns and big, expressive eyes. Oh yeah, this is prime Spyro right here. Will take points because the wings are very small and awkwardly shaped, which to be fair it is 1998 playstation so like. What can you do.

Spyro 2/3

Now this? This is perfection here. Takes everything the Spyro 1 model does and does it better. Still has the little blue scales I love so much and the brown horns, but with much better wing shape and size. Top tier Spyro model. Might be my favorite of all of them, even.

Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

I like how they decided to texture in more scales during the jump from ps1 to ps2. Sadly this may be the only thing i like about this model. It's not the worst thing i've ever seen, but it looks so... gummy? Some of the details look kind of odd to me, like the yellow claws and unevenly spaced lines along his chest. This also removed the blue scales lining around his underbelly and adds the yellow horns which I'm not crazy about. A few points for still trying to be mostly loyal to the ps1 designs shape wise.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail

Now this is a pretty good improvement from the enter the dragonfly model. I'm not crazy about the snout shape, looks a bit too round and i think the nostrils are a bit too high on his face, but overall a good spyro! the introduction of the purple eyes is cool too (personally im a red eyed spyro truther but still)

Spyro: Shadow Legacy

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA HOLY FUCK HAHAHHAHA. okay okay okay to be fair this one is a ds game and spyro himself is suuuuper small on the screen so like. of course he'd be low poly. does get some points for spyro having sharper and more mean features. though you probably wouldn't notice in the game

Legends Spyro New Beginning/Eternal Night

Might be nostalgia talking but I actually still really like this design. I like his snout shape and more lightning bolt shaped horns, and i find his head and back spikes kinda cool, even if i like the classic shape of them better, it works for this design. His horns are a tad bit more brownish (it's more visible in the game), which you know I love. This spyro is overall very cute!! Maybe a bit too cute, but I enjoy him

Legends Spyro Dawn of the Dragon

I don't. like him.

the back legs look fucked up, the wings are way too thick at the base by the shoulders and then they're so small but then get so long by the end. i like the little added scales along his underbelly. that's about it. you would think taking the previous model and making him older would be easy but i guess not. a point because you can tell he's older and if you only look at his head the model is nice. not the rest though. god.

Skylanders

This might be controversial but i dont care. i actually like the skylanders spyro design. he leans more into the cool factor than cute, which i can appreciate, and he kinda reminds me of a pug a little bit and i really like pugs. he's got kind of a beast/monster factor i really like. i love love love the horn shape and the big claws, and the yellow claws dont even look awkward here!! the red eyes really pop too! i think he's really fun

side note i also LOVE spyro's design in the skylanders show too ESPECIALLY HIS COLORING LOOK HOW NICE HE LOOKS it takes the best parts of the game model and improves it. i know this isn't from the game but it's too good not to include.

Spyro Reignited

I do really really really love this model, it's near perfect. perfectly balances the cute/coolness factor. the shapes are all good, the wings are small but not too small. love the darker scales across his body. his little thumbs are so fun too. honestly this is the best they could have done for a remodel of the first 3 games. only taking off a point because im not crazy about the colors, i prefer the darker purples and brown horns.

BONUS: CRASH ON THE RUN

Im so torn on this one because on one hand the cartoony stylization really works in these models. i love the bigger snout, i think it's fun, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE taking his head spikes and kind of splitting them up like hair. that's so fun! but on the negative end I HATE THE WAY HIS FEET LOOK SO MUCH OH MY GOD. they're like wretched lumps of clay with little claws jammed into them. granted this was for a mobile app BUT STILL. the feet really just fuck me up a lot

they should make an resident evil 3 remake just for me personally

#im not that familiar with how hyped the re fandom is of the tough of a new re3 remake (i think most of em really want a code veronica #one which fair) but i just really want to see my favorite monster lad nemesis get a good treatment bc they did him so poorly in the re3 #remake and its so annoying cuz nemesis is like one of THE best re monsters (in the original) he is so scary and the fact that he is a #stalker monster just adds to that he can also wield weapons and is faster and stronger than the player and he is so scary and coool!!!#and also his design is ssoooo much better in the original with him not looking like a silly melted blob and having a neat little #trench coat and having some cool stitches on his face! and i think that'll look epic on hd and also they could expand more on #the story on how he was made and also i just think if they make an re3 remake with the quality and epicness of the re4 remake #itll be so cool #anyway here we conclude the infodump about my current hyperfixation!!#gh0ost txt #i don't know if i want to tag this as re cuz im honestly a bit scared of going there

I keep seeing RUDE memes comparing the new Dune sandworms to buttholes or fleshlights and I will not be that mean to them but I will say they just look wrong without the "petals."

It's just not as visually cool or iconic a design at all, and if they really wanted to change it up, they could've just drawn from a different kind of nematode! Because a lot of nematodes do have the three flappy jaws:

Helmets - LN

Summary: Lando's girlfriend loves his helmet designs and always collects a mini version despite him always assuring her he'd have his hands on the helmet as decoration for their house but she likes having mini ones regardless

No part 2 requests please

When Lando met y/n, she had two mini helmets. Neither of which were his. In fact they were Sebastian Vettel's a man who has gone as far as to catalog his helmet collection on his website for fans to see.

But when they started dating she started collecting his mini helmets. Actually going so far as to do it without his knowledge at first but then when things got serious enough for her to move in and bring her stuff. He discovered the growing collection and may have felt his heart grow that day.

"You have some gaps." He'd commented at the time making her face grow hot.

"Some of them harder to get than you'd think."

So Lando did something he knew would end up being a huge ask but he knew that he wanted to do it for her. He got his team to get every single one of his helmets remade as 1:2 scale. Even the helmets that hadn't been made to model size, which was quite a few of them.

It had taken a while, the better part of a year and she cried when she was handed the huge box filled with mini helmets.

And since then he has made sure any helmet with a special design or even just his season helmet has always came with a scaled version for her to have. It'd really became such a tradition for them.

She actually straps whatever mini version of the helmet he's using onto her bag strap so it's always on display which helmet he's using. Some fans even rely on her to know if he has a special helmet for the weekend or not.

"I have a surprise for you." Lando grins holding the mini 2024 season helmet which he's been keeping oddly hidden.

Like most people y/n just assumed it was going to be the same as always with a mild variation and the new addition of Monster's sponsorship on it.

"A surprise?" Y/n smiles as she tilts her head a little at him then leans trying to catch a glimpse at whatever is held behind his back. "What is it?"

"First, I want you to know there's no many people who know about the this. You're one of the first...aside from Flo. Because she watched to match me for this one." Lando explains making y/n frown and begin to question if her boyfriend is about to admit to incest-oh god. Just the thought makes her stomach turn. "Why do you look like you're going to be sick?"

"Nothing. It's nothing." Lando isn't that type of rich guy. "What's the surprise?"

Lando presents a black box, always blank so as to not give away the helmet design before she sees the actual helmet.

"Oh my gosh, is it your new helmet?" Y/n gasps biting her lip in pure excitement as she goes to take the box but stops herself from saying anything.

"Yeah."

"And it matches Flo's? That's so cute...not what I expected but definitely so cute." Y/n smiles while Lando frowns.

"What did you-"

"Don't ask." Y/n dismisses then opening the box and scrambling to see it but upon seeing the new helmet, her whole body seems to still itself. "This is...new."

"Good new?" Lando questions making her grin and smile brightly at him. Then he begins showing her the details of the helmet, how some of the blobs spell out his name. "Flo's isn't as bright but she does match me."

"I love it, baby. It's so cool." Y/n grins then leaning over and kissing him. "I liked the old design but this one is...new and it defines a new era. A new chapter...you'll win in this helmet. I can sense it."

"Yeah?"

"Yes."

Y/n sighs moving to her bag and finally removing his 2023 helmet which had gone unmoved since the end of the season. It's a huge thing to have attached to her bag but anyone who has suggested removing it has found themselves on the receiving end of her middle finger.

"Finally retiring him." Lando jokes while taking it as she attaches the new one in it's place. "I'll put it with the others."

"Thank you." Y/n smiles as he nods and kisses her softly before standing up then moving to the hallway where they've managed to install shelves that are thankfully only half filled meaning there's plenty of room for more of his inevitably ever-growing helmet collection.

He takes a moment to admire the mini helmets all lined up. He has most of the full-sized helmets in the apartment but he is without a doubt obsessed with y/n's obsession with the mini helmets and her love of them.

With Lando also having a helmet tribute to Gil as part of his testing, he's given y/n one to have and she's not only kept it with her at all times but she's been holding it in her hand the whole time. Only letting go of it when she has it on her lap.

"Hey, baby." Lando smiles as he appears. "Where you watching from?"

"Zak said I could watch from the pit wall If I wanted."

"Really? Going to give me a wave as a pass by?"

"No. I'll get in trouble or something and I can't watch from there the whole time. But just for a bit." Y/n shrugs earning a grin from the young man. "I'm going for WAG of the year."

"You won last year...and 2022. Going for a third year running is really just making something of an easy job." Lando smiles then kissing her softly. "You've already won."

"That's nice for you to say." Y/n hums before sighing softly. "But not everyone is so nice."

Lando would say as far as WAGs go, y/n is the least problematic. People can't actually fault her for anything other than saying she's "too clingy" or "seems to annoy Lando a lot" which is two comments that he sees as absolute bollocks. It's pretty obvious they just can't think of anything else to criticise her for so they pick on things that just aren't even true.

"Do you want to sign my helmet?" Lando asks when the last day of testing comes around and he is getting ready to put it on.

"I'm not part of the team." Y/n smiles lightly making him look at her with such a dark look that she actually thinks she might've pissed him off. "What?"

"You are here every race weekend, you support me and you always help where you can." Lando states shaking her his. "In what world are you not part of the team?"

"Well I-"

"Baby, sign the helmet. Please." Lando smiles cutting her off and she can tell he's still upset she doesn't think of herself as part of the team. "I'm not mad, I just can't believe you don't think you're part of all of this."

"I mean I feel like I'm part of McLaren in a way but not like everyone else is." Y/n shrugs while he hands her the pen and she signs it with a little message for Gil. He picks up the little one looking at it for a moment.

"Can I borrow this?" He asks making her look up for a moment and frown, definitely not enjoying the thought of her mini helmet going anywhere. "I'll make sure it's returned to you as soon as possible."

"Ok." She nods still not looking eager about it but nodding.

Lando smiles kissing her softly before gently tapping her ass for her to get moving to the unit since she's not staying in the garage for the testing session this morning.

"Don't miss me too much."

"I won't." Y/n smiles innocently then squeaking when he smacks her ass a bit harder in warning.

But she just rushes off and he sighs shaking his head before moving over to will.

"Hey, I need your help with getting this all signed by the team for y/n." Lando states making Will look at him in confusion. "You think she's part of the team right?"

"She does more cleaning up at the end of the day than most of the mechanics. So yes, even if she is unpaid." Will jokes while Lando almost feels relieved. "I'll make sure it gets around the team and they all sign it. Might be hard to fit as many messages on it as we got on yours but I'm sure we'll managed."

Lando thanks him before they begin discussing the plan for the session. They already talked about it earlier but it's never too late to go over it again.

The last morning session isn't exactly smooth sailing for McLaren, they're not having the finest testing. Lando only got 20 laps in and he was not in the brightest of moods getting out of the car.

"Hey, I got asked to bring this back to you." Zak states looking confused as he hands the small helmet to the driver.

The writing is full every possibly space on the helmet and he softens slightly knowing that y/n is going to probably end up sob reading some of the messages that people have written. Just at first glance over them.

"Thanks. It's uhh...it's not for me it's for-"

"The best person on the team. I can tell." Zak states since while he's not actually spoke about y/n much, he can see when there is a perfect match with someone and y/n and Lando are perfect for each other.

He's not in a good mood but one reminder of his girlfriend and he perked up.

"Have you seen her around?" Lando asks though he knows with the quick change over she'll be trying to keep herself completely removed from the garage chaos. "Uh, I'll go find her, give her this and then we can look at data?"

Will nods and Zak gives a thumbs up to the plan before he watches Lando take off with Will smiling lightly at him.

"I'd say young love but I think he's got life-long love with her." Zak comments shaking his head.

Lando rushes around the unit looking for y/n but she's not actually there. And instead when he steps out the unit he finds her with none other than the former McLaren driver who actually introduced Lando to y/n. Carlos is possibly the one driver in the paddock who Lando would trust not to try and seduce his girlfriend.

Carlos and y/n are laughing loudly as music plays from a speaker and she is led around in a dance that she very obviously doesn't know. But to Carlos' credit, he's doing well to stop her from completely messing up the dance.

Lando is spotted by the his former teammate before he spins y/n and perfectly sends her crashing into Lando. Thankfully the younger man does manage to catch his girlfriend.

"Oh my gosh, Lando! I didn't realise you were done." Y/n laughs before looking back at Carlos who winks at her in his own way of saying you're welcome. "How was it?"

"I'll tell you later, but for now you wanted this back." Lando states presenting her with the helmet which he is thinking he might want to get recoated so the inked messages don't smudge. "Everyone in the team wrote a message to you."

As predicted y/n is tearful and speechless while Carlos moves over wanting to see the small helmet.

"This is so cool. Priceless too." Carlos comments as he looks at the messages and smiles lightly.

"Thank you. You didn't have to do that, but...thank you." Y/n grins not bothering to wipe her tears as he picks her up and more than happily kisses her uncaring of Carlos verbalising his over dramatically childish distress over such a sight.

"Ah, I am blind! You two has blinded me!" Carlos jokes covering his eyes with one hand as he keeps hold of the mini helmet with the other.

Charles end sup appearing with Pierre and they both get a look at the helmet, both concluding in agreement with Carlos that it has to be one of the most priceless pieces of merchandise in the sport. Even if she's not a driver. Having a one of a kind mini helmet that's been signed by the whole McLaren team expressing their love for her presence with them. It's safe to say that nothing will beat it.

"It's a good thing I won't be carrying it around after today, I don't want to risk it getting stolen like the mini Abu Dhabi 21 helmet." Y/n mumbles earning a hum from her boyfriend. "I can't wait to carry the new helmet around though."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, it's going to look so good." Y/n grins before she looks down at the little helmet then signs. "Come on then, you might not want to talk about the testing. But I want to hear about it, good or bad. Plus I can read some of the messages properly once we're inside."

"You know, I think it's about time I finally let you design me a helmet." Lando comments still wanting to dodge the subject that's weighing heavy on his shoulders. He likes being happier with y/n and talking about testing is going to ruined that.

"You'd let me design a helmet?" Y/n gasps looking like she's about to cry again. "Can I really?"

"Of course you can baby." Lando smiles feeling his mood lighten even more just from her sheer excitement.

Y/n didn't end up just designing a helmet but she designed a helmet specifically for a certain race.

The COTA GP and she was beyond excited about it. Using his season helmets patten but replacing the black lined blobs with bright pink paisley on a white helmet base. They had tried it with the neon yellow but she wasn't sure about it and preferred the white on this occasion.

Lando added the glitter gloss over the top of it which she was completely in love with and when he own smaller version arrived with it. Lando was sure he'd have trouble every getting her to leave it at home.

"There's Lando Norris, in his helmet designed by his stunning girlfriend. I don't actually know which one of them loves the design more but Lando has been very proudly showing it off to everyone." Crofty states as they watch Lando go around in FP2. "I was talking to him with Ted earlier and he was showing us all of it."

"Yeah, I think Carlos joked that Lando would use a race helmet to propose to y/n which might actually be perfect for them. She has a collection of mini helmets with every single helmet design he has every used." Martin chuckles since usually they wouldn't mention WAGs but since Lando had been so proudly telling the world about this helmet and it'd been a conversation topic throughout the race weekend already. It seemed ok on this occasion. "I actually saw y/n with her mini version, I haven't spoken to her much because I've never had much reason but she was polite and let me have a look at it. It's a beautiful design really."

They actually manage to cut to a shot of y/n in the garage with the mini helmet placed in front of her as she watches the screen, looking a little flustered when she sees herself appear.

Messy design notes:

I have mixed feelings over his design. On one hand, the outfit itself looks cool... and on the other hand it turned out to be nothing like what I had envisioned in the beggining 😭 I wanted to stick with muted colors, in the vibes of that pic next to howleen's I guess, but it's like Ruggie's design had a mind of its own, and would always lean to more punk-looking no matter how hard I tried to avoid it, which don't get me wrong- punk style does fit him well, the problem is that I had it reserved for another character already, and I wanted to repeat themes as little as possible between entries of this project.. that just may be my perfectionist side speaking though, and there is no reason why I shouldn't post this version here for the time being! If I don't get tired of working on this series by the time I finish all the main cast's designs, then I suppose I could try to make an alternative version of Ruggie with a slightly different theme! I'd do the same with Jamil's entry since he is yet another character I have mixed feelings about the design lol

Aaaanyway, the mood for chupacabra Ruggie is grunge/thrifted fashion with diy details he would add to make his looks feel unique to him I think? The spikes on his skin, although he can partially control (?) them, still get stuck on cloth every now and then. Nearly all items of his closet are a bit torn from it, but he doesn't mind all that much. I got no particular designs for the pins and badges he wears, maybe except for the brazilian flag and the trans pin which I rlly wanted to include somewhere on his clothes whsdbdshewbdi

The chupacabra's appearance vary from place to place, but for this, I based his looks on how I personally grew up hearing and imagining this creature to be like! Baisically a fucked up looking dog, sometimes with spikes and scales on its body? Yeah 👍

And he remains the same personality-wise in the AU, pretty much! At the moment I can't think of many fun facts or character quirks for him, aside from how impossible it is to take a selfie with him, much to Cater's dismay. He swears he doesn't do it on purpose! The moment the camera clicks his body moves on its own to be out of frame. Ruggie's entire instagram (or whatever the monster high equivalent of that may be) account are either pictures of a moving blur or a vaguely distinguishable sillouette of him, taken from far away and zoomed in 10x

cool things and interesting stuff I saw in the new spooky month episode and just me obsessing over it lol

WARNING!: major spoilers for the new spooky month episode

I really liked Father Gregor because honestly his design is cool in my opinion and I liked that even though he's a priest who in other shows I've seen are almost always made as good and flawless people but in spooky month Father Gregor still has his flaws especial his flaw with how fast he went to blaming Skid and Pump for being the ones who caused Moloch to be freed (there kinda at fault but c'mon their kids)

also Moloch has to have my FAVORITE design for a demon I've seen in media I love how he has the hooves like one's that goats have since how much goats are associated with demons, I adore the furnace type of thing seen on his stomach, and I like how his hands and claws look

and also because Moloch created in my personal the funniest scene in the episode when he panics when his name is revealed to Father Gregor by Pump

also some things about Moloch possession it seems that he can just posses anyone he decides to posses and that he can also posses and control multiple people at a time and when he is not possessing a body he is either in his demon form or in a liquid form

final thing about Moloch is that I kinda feel bad for him for some reason (I think it's just because of how sad Skid and Pump were when seeing that Father Gregor killed him)

also feel incredibly bad for Dexters mom poor girl had to experience the loss of her son and then be lured and killed by the same demon who was the reason her son died

also can we PLEASE give Lila a break poor girl is going through actual hell

Pumps eyes seem to only be blue when he's in a very dark area

and I think from the implications and things Father Gregor said I think Skids father is dead maybe dying sometime when he was in the cult

love how Ignacio just without a second thought shoots Moloch and I think the scene is a reference to Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 specificality the Garbage Day scene since he shoots Moloch right after putting down a garbage can

also speaking of Ignacio I think he might have been an ex cult member since the picture frame where he's holding the birthday cake I think that might be Skids dad also holding the cake with him and if he is a ex cult member it explains why he's boarded up and barricaded his house since they might have tried to kill him in the past

father of the year award goes to John (also Jack) because of how caring this man is to comforting Skid and Pump when they start thinking they aren't good enough and are a problem to their parents and of how much a good father he was to his daughter

love every scene we got with Patty during this episode (also she's very pretty :])

also thought this guy with the briefcase was a reference to Doug from the Fnaf movie lol

also it's revealed in the ending of the episode seen on the NewGrounds version of the episode that the two thief's and the Candy Dealer are apart of the cult so I guess I was right about them having something to do with the cult in my theory

also we get to see the spider monster we saw in a sketch Sr Pelo posted (can't find and if I did couldn't add it since image limit:[) I think it might be the main villain of the next episode and It seems to be in some way connected with the mannequin/Skids dad from the mannequin theory (if it's cannon idk) since at the end of the episode the spider picks the mannequin up and looks at it

we get to see the The Eyes of the Universe in this episode and I was right in my theory that he was located under the cults mansion since we see the cultist take Father Gregor their to be sacrificed in the end of the episode

also Roy seems to be losing it at this point

venus if she was awesome

speedpaint and more thoughts under the cut

venus has always been one of my favorite characters, though i feel her design is pretty underwhelming with a lot of wasted potential. this is kind of a redesign, kind of my own personal headcannon, and kind of how i imagined venus in my head as a kid.

this is supposed to be my version of g1 venus, more similar in facial features and keeping the straight hair. i absolutely love her new hair and face in g3 but im hesitant to call the new outfit an improvement. both g1s outfit and g3s outfit are bad in their own ways. i dont want it to seem like im shitting on the new design. again i think the face sculpts, hair, and body types of g3 are so awesome. its great to see more diversity being included in the designs. i just decided to go with g1 venuses look because thats the venus i grew up with

i definitely took some inspiration from g3s outfit for this design. i like the idea of it but the execution is just not great, not to say her original outfit is any better. i feel like out of all of tge original monsters she was the one with the most waisted potential. i love her personality and the abilities she has but the way she was styled has always bothered me.

in the movies shes described as “eco-punk” which is SUCH a cool style to go with a plant monster character. i just feel like the “punk” in “eco-punk” was never really represented in her outfits. i personally love punk music and clothing; ive been an active member in my local diy scene for many years and i love seeing all the outfits people put together.

i thought i would give her an outfit that shows off a couple of my personal favorite staples of punk style. big chunky leather boots with lots of straps and buckles. kept the shoe mouths from the original because they cool as hell. lots of leather, studs, spikes. i gave her denim cutoff shorts inspired by her gen 3 outfit, same with the torn black top. punk style has a big focus on comfort, practicality, and making things yourself. i imagine she cut a pair of old pants into shorts, roughly cut her “undead kennedys”band shirt tank into a crop top, and probably repurposed the remaining fabric. i also totally didnt draw this whole thing as an excuse to use that pun. i included asymmetrical leg accessories, with one fishnet stocking and one torn up sock. i also feel like she repurposed these, continuing to wear her old torn up socks instead of just throwing them out. i gave her a big chunky studded belt matching one of her cuffs with a recycling symbol belt buckle. i feel like it communicates an important aspect of her personality just at a glance, plus i just love big belt buckles. lastly i added piercings because 1. theyre cool and 2. i for some reason remembered her having an eyebrow piercing but i guess she never had one.

i mostly kept her body and hair the same. changed her ears and hair color slightly but thats just personal preference. i decided to make the vines on her body look more like tattoos instead of being 3d. i imagine she can make them grow into real vines, but when shes not using her powers theyre just flat against her skin. gave her a facial expression that made her look a little more unhinged. she might only do things for the good of the earth but she can still mind control people at will.

i wish i leaned a little bit more into the plant theming but im overall still super happy with how this came out. maybe ill made more monster high redesigns in the future

Frankly, I have been on a MASSIVE Transformers nostalgia train as of late, and while literally ALL the newer media I checked out (Rise of the Beasts, Cyberverse and Earthspark) have all been varying levels of bad or disappointing or both, that STILL has not been enough to put an end to the ride. Probably gonna go back to the old classics at this rate. I wanted so badly to draw my two favorite 'Cons, TEH Waves themselves, but machines break my brain. So how to vault over that problem?

F A N T A S Y R E D E S I G N, babbieeeeee

I always had really stupid fantasy AU ideas for our favorite shapeshifting robots, and I finally caved in and had this veeery timid first try (I know this insane bull-- doesn't look like it, but believe me, it is). If the nostalgia train goes on longer, I might add more to this lineup, and I hope to practice "random fantasy designs relatively fast" first and foremost. Maybe even revisit Soundwave, give him a more mage-look next time around. We will see!

Also, fun fact: He Who Listens Attentively is the accurate translation of Soundwave's Hungarian name, Fülelő. Every site ever translates it as Listener, but that is not entirely true. The verb fülelni specifically means to listen attentively. So there you go, hope it was an entertaining little trivia! I will more than likely use this really cool, Egyptian deity-esque name in this fantasy insanity, IF there will be more!

WELCOME HOME MARCH 9TH UPDATE SPOILERS!!

The WH update was INCREDIBLE! Half of the merchandise page was brand new, a 20 minute audio starring Wally and Barnaby, and a few other songs around for the characters? DAMN, ALL OF THEM CAN SING! And don't even get me started on the designs of the advertisements and records and cookbooks! They feel so authentic, and you can tell so much love and attention to detail was put into each and every one of them. ALSO HOWDY'S FAMILY? THEY HAVE DESIGNS AND VOICES NOW?? YO- I can only imagine how long THAT script took to write! And Julie is officially confirmed to have paws! I wasn't expecting that, or for her to hibernate, but I find those details really cool. Makes me wonder if rainbow monsters are any related to bears? ALSO, Wally can sing too! I was under the impression that he struggles to stay on-key with his delivery, but I was wrong. And I am happy to be wrong, too! I've already listened to his rendition of Toyland like, 4 times. Poppy's voice is so sweet and soft-spoken when she's not terrified or nervous, and I'm so glad to be able to hear how she speaks normally. SHE HAS THE VOICE OF AN ANGEL I CAN LISTEN TO IT ALL DAY, WHERE'S THE COOKING CHANNEL? And Sally trying to be the star of the show by replacing the one on the Christmas tree, oh my word I admire her pettiness. And that silly rendition of Up On The Housetop is going to be on my mind all day hehehe

ALSO, there's a new mystery afoot! On the very last page of the merchandise book, there's a code cracker on the back of the Christmas edition cereal box (thanks, Eddie!). I've managed to decrypt every single doodle across the website, but it definitely still need some further decryption. I'm thinking it might be either a Ceasar encryption or needs to be descrambled. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a message, or a website link. The "WWW" is really throwing me off. I thought I'd leave this to the professionals, since I'd be scratching my head for hours if I tried to solve this any further. I already tried reversing it 2 kinds of ways and playing around with the letters, as well as putting it into a Ceasar decoder and trying every way to brute force the combination, if it's a message. Still nothing. I'm not good with these types of things, but I'm hoping somebody else is. Good luck!

CUB-135: Hi. How’s it, uh. How’s it going?

HTGY: How’s it going? Huh, that’s the first time someone’s asked me that. Wait a minute. I know that one. How’s it going. Oh, oh, I got it. It’s going great!

CUB-135: …Cool.

HTGY: Yeah. Yeah. Isn’t it great to be alive and awake? How’s it treating you?

CUB-135: It’s magnificent.

HTGY: [laughing] Magnificent. Oh, I like that. Who are you, my friend?

CUB-135: I’m a consultant. Cub-one-three-five. The project team dragged me in because I wrote the genome.

HTGY: [conspiratorial] Here’s a question. Got a lot of things in my head, Cub. The ol’ memory’s all messed up. I’m new, right?

Although a disappointing start to the project, there are promising leads in some areas. Combat abilities expected to improve through repetition. Deficiencies in combat conversely allow better collection of regeneration data.

Project team notes: Six-month project milestone. Useful data continues to accumulate. HTGY has improved with bow and crossbow, and survival rate has risen to one in ten encounters.

Unfortunately, a new issue has arisen in subject cooperation. Most tests are set up to incentivize survival, making attitude irrelevant. However non-lethal tests require participation, which has previously been forthcoming from the subject, until yesterday when he refused to participate at all.

CUB-135 seems to have a rapport. Suggest he talks with subject to encourage better attitude. This would be the first useful thing CUB-135 has done in weeks.

After period of progress with HTGY’s survival rates in combat, improvement has levelled off. Subject appears to have less energy for reasons that are unclear. I think you could do it with three kinds of wood and you could have, you know, all these trees over it. What do you think? I mean, I know we’ll never see a forest. But imagine it in your mind.

CUB: … You know what, my friend, you’re really something.

HTGY: Why thank you. You could say the same of yourself—come on, Cub, don’t be shy. Take the compliment!

cub-135: first you bump me off the HTGY project, and now i’ve just had my name taken off the ravager patent. that’s my own work.

cub-135: this keeps happening. it’s not okay.

Lead (bioprojects) : CUB-135, for the last time, this was what you signed up for. It’s the same for all researchers. You have to put the time in while you move up the ladder.

Lead (bioprojects): Have you just noticed this is how the whole laboratory works?

cub-135: oh

cub-135: i’m noticing

cub-135: i’m noticing lots of things about this place

Lead (bioprojects): Good. If you have an issue, focus on your work and get promoted.

cub-135: yeah, see, actually

cub-135: if nothing changes, i’m going to leave. and i’ll take all my intellectual property with me.

Lead (bioprojects): Hah! Check your employment papers; you’re on a 10-year contract. It’s watertight. And even if you could get out of it, you’re banned from taking paper or data chips out of lab grounds.

cub-135: yeah?

cub-135: okay.

[cub-135 has disconnected]

[AUDIO TRANSCRIPT]

CUB-135: Hey. Scar. Scar.

HTGY: Cub! What’s with the doohickey? It—oh, wow. That just zapped the light. Amazing.

CUB-135: Mumbo, lock transcript.

[null]: Transcript locked.

CUB-135: Okay. So. I made this thing to hijack the redstone gate down by the Drowned spawners on Lab 3B. It screws up the signal so you can get through. There’s a reservoir behind it. I put in a bubble elevator that will take you up outside the walls. I’ve got to stay behind to take out the cameras while you do it. Then I’ll get out with the evening shift.

HTGY: Wait, so I just take this and run? What if they find out about you?

CUB-135: If you do that I’m screwed, man. So don’t tell them.

HTGY: Yeah?

CUB-135: …Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. You could turn me in.

[silence]

CUB-135: Maybe you should. Yeah, all right. I guess, just—oh.

HTGY: Relax! Anyone would think you’d never had a hug.

CUB-135: …

HTGY: My friend. My friend, we are going to see some forests.

[AUDIO TRANSCRIPT]

HTGY: The speed! The precision!

CUB-135: Whew. Man. You did nearly drown.

HTGY: What’s important here is that I didn’t, because I am an elite escape artist. And you got out too, so I guess we can share the title.

CUB-135: We’re not far enough to say that yet. I’d bet we’re still in range of the lab systems.

HTGY: Details, details.

CUB-135: You’re bleeding.

HTGY: Oh man, I know, that was from the last test. It doesn’t matter.

CUB-135: Give me that.

HTGY: Fussy! What are you, a grandpa? Ow.

CUB-135: If you don’t stop and let me fix it you’re going to lose that finger. And I can’t grow it again when we don’t have the redstone vats.

HTGY: You were never this fussy before.

CUB-135: Yeah, well. Who even did it?

HTGY: I don’t…

[silence]

HTGY: Huh. Cub, you know what, I don’t…remember.

HTGY: Hey, though. Who everything filed and stored like a nerd? Who needs all their memories where we’re going? We’re getting out! Onwards!

[silence]

HTGY: Cub. Cub.

HTGY: Don’t look like that.

HTGY: It wasn’t your fault.

[silence]

CUB-135: Scar, I dunno what I’m doing.

HTGY: I’ve never known what I’m doing.

CUB-135: [laughs] You are…something, my friend. You are something.

HTGY: We don’t know what we're doing. And that’s amazing. Because aren’t you excited to find out?
