I think that article is actually incredibly interesting- if you only read Louis’ quotes. I’d throw the bit about Simon out in the trash, but that’s clearly a non-disparage clause ad infinitum talking, not Louis himself.

He couches what he says about Harry- in my opinion, tries to defend him while treading VERY lightly, because he has to, of course. He says, about his Grammy’s speech: “we all came from humble beginnings” basically explaining what Harry meant. Then, in talking about Harry’s fame- he says “we all knew Harry fit that mold” which doesn’t cast any dispersions on Harry, it’s actually a lot closer to ‘Harry was born to do this and was set up from practically day one to do this’ - and that’s not untrue, is it?

It’s the author who puts all the malice into that article. Louis’ quotes, themselves, seem like everything I’d expect him to be able to, (and willing) to say.

honestly it was so funny seeing pran just confusedly ruminate on why tian and phupha were arguing so much over something so silly, like who fell for who first. pat reminding him that they also argued about that is so unhelpful too because… well, we all saw that “argument.” it was less arguing and more horny bickering whilst still actively (probably) sleeping together hshshs

i also love that their whole parent trap plan was to get phupha and tian to get a lil 🫧tipsyyy🫧 and sing a song together. in what world, lads? i’m concerned that they’re working off the base assumption that phupha and tian know how to effectively communicate their feelings to one another, because for pran and pat it comes so naturally. their whole gig is that even when they’re arguing they’re both so confident in their love for one another that it never really even makes a dent (and thus can be turned into fun and sexy foreplay). phupha and tian have such a different relationship - it was built on such a shaky foundation. they liked each other so immediately and so fiercely but it took them years (YEARS!) to get to a place where they could really be together. they also, bless their perfect perfect hearts, couldn’t effectively communicate their feelings out of a paper bag.

I love them so much. All we get out crumbs but hopefully that will change with this episode!!

They are really cute and it really feels like both might be falling in love for the first time, despite that Alan is supposed to be in his thirties (according to the book he’s 38 but I believe they may have aged him down slightly for the show) while Jeff is supposed to be 20. The age difference doesn’t really bug me, since both are shown to be mature and self assured. They match each other really well, with Alan being much more open to Jeff’s more reserved nature. They’re slowly building trust in each other and it’s so much fun to watch and so satisfying. The fact that Jeff was willing to tell Alan about his ability says a lot about the state of their relationship and much it’s improved and developed and I can’t wait to see their romantic arc properly start!

I also don’t believe Jeff when he says he’s never used his gift on Alan. Maybe not intentionally but I definitely think he might have done it by accident the first time Alan touches Jeff arm in one of the earlier episodes (I can’t remember which one haha). The only question now is what exactly did he see? Part of me really wants to it to be sickeningly domestic, the other part of me wants to it to be them fucking nasty. The romantic vs the horny I guess haha.

Also I’m not sure if they’ll actually say the word in the show, but I really love that Alan doesn’t treat Jeff any different even though Jeff is supposed to be an omega. So often in omegaverse stories, everyone wants to treat omegas like they’ll break at the slightly hardship but Alan knows his boy’s strength and he knows that he can handle it, though he’ll also be there to back him up. I think Jeff is starting to see that as well and it’s only helping their relationship :)
