I’m not even that far through the game but here’s some Night Bringer brain rot cause this game is rife with angst potential
One of the brothers yelling at MC in a fit of rage about how they “aren’t even apart of the family “ and not understanding why the MC acts so crushed
MC spending their birthday alone in the past because there’s no point in asking the brothers to celebrate with them since they aren’t that close.
MC going back to the Cocytus house and sobbing into Solomon’s chest because they want to go home.
Solomon watching MC struggle to cope and still can’t help but feel both Jealous and sad because he can’t make them feel better like the brothers could.

oh my god okay. The fact that Wayne narrates the lore of the Creel House and Eddie narrates the Vecna campaign is so important to me. It means that Eddie grew up listening to his uncle tell stories. It means that those stories left such an impact on him, that he started telling stories of his own.
It means Eddie inherited the storytelling trait from Wayne.

Butchered Tongue is so....
There's something painful about being completely cut off from the culture of your ancestors. You know that there was once a connection there but its gone now and you have no idea how to get it back. You're just stuck wondering when and why things didn't get passed on to your parent or grandparent. Why did they let you assimilate?
Knowing that if your grandparents went to participate in your lost culture, they would be reclaiming it. But somewhere in the generations there is a point where it crosses from reclaiming your culture to being a tourist. And you're pretty sure that you fall directly on the other side of that line.
All you get is an heirloom or two, and a surname no one can pronounce. And that's it's you're lucky.

Okay if you haven't yet, and you have Netflix/Paramount+, consider giving "School Spirits" a chance.
It looks like a silly little cheesy teenage ghosts show, I put it on for background noise, and then got totally engrossed in the mystery. It's VERY well written, very well filmed, the mystery was GREAT and the payoff at the end is also great.
One of the things majorly lacking in shows I've recently tried to watch is that they try to do a twist/reveal at the end that comes out of nowhere. They don't want you to guess what they're doing. This show doesn't do that. This show wants you to guess. They give you seven different mysteries and enough clues to guess (most of) what is going on, so that when you get the final puzzle piece to any given mystery, it feels GREAT.
The story premise is this: a teenager in hs wakes up as a ghost in the hs, and doesn't remember how she died, and with the help of the other ghosts, tries to solve the mystery of her own death.
Simple premise. BEAUTIFULLY executed. Not all of the questions that arise get answered, but the main one (what she doesn't remember) gets solved by the end of the season, leaving the "why/how and what comes next" to be carried to the next season. It does a cliffhanger RIGHT. But now I desperately want to see the second season (which I believe has been approved, so it's a matter of waiting).
So pretty please, if you're looking for something to do and a great, engaging lil mystery to watch, consider! School Spirits!!

I love it when women hate men. I love it when women are allowed to vent to each other about how horrible and creepy men are. I love it when women form friendships with and prioritize each other over relationships with men(whether they're attracted to them or not). I love it when women put men dni in their bios and on their nude photos and on posts on their blogs. I love it when women refuse to mollycoddle and accommodate entitled male feelings with "but this doesn't mean I hate all men, I know a few men who are great, I love my father/sons/brothers/uncles/male cousins/guy friends" I love it when women complain about men WITHOUT "not all men" being a disclaimer. I love it when women avoid socializing with/refuse to be around/befriend/get close to men because they know men can't be trusted. I love it when women make "kill all men" jokes. I love it when women offer absolutely no concern or care for men's feelings and if their misandry offends men whatsoever because why should we, men are the oppressor class who have raped and killed and abused us and kept us as subjugated as second-class citizens for millennia, they regularly mistreat us and the women in their own marginalized communities still every single day and make this world so much harder and more awful for us to be in, and if we choose to hate them and not spare them any sympathy then so be it, and I don't just mean "men as a class" either, you can be a woman who doesn't want to have anything to do with any man on an individual basis and completely cuts off men from her personal life too and ykw I will love and fucking support you in that because men deserve absolutely NOTHING from us. If they're so tough and strong then they can handle it just like they can handle being lonely. If you are a woman who hates men, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A LESBIAN AND/OR A TRANS WOMAN, then just know that I love you. I love you, I support you, and you are safe here.

Liam (about Orym during this week's 4 Sided Dive) said:
"he's just a sorta average guy trying to do right"
"he can't do anything except for run and jump"
"he really felt like a failure"
Matt, in response:
gave Orym a memory of Will's presence
gifted him a brand new magical weapon that he gets to name himself
did both of these things through the Wildmother herself
Matthew Mercer heard that Orym was feeling downtrodden and lesser and went this is not allowed, and I for one thank him for it even though it is destroying me on the inside—
