So I just got into a street fight with a cis man and I WHOOPED HIS ASS?!! I mean he punched me twice and my jaw still hurts but he's the one who ran away. It was nice to assert my dominance physically, no wonder they do it all the time. As a very fat, over 6 ft tall trans/nonbinary woman I am constantly minimizing my self and trying my damndest to seem unthreatening and non-aggressive and take up as little space as possible. This is the first fight I've had since moving to Denver. I think there's something vindicating about the fight being with an asshole who let his dogs run around unleashed on the street and not a transphobe lol. And being reminded, however it happened, that I Can fight my own battles physically if need be. It assures me that I can protect my loved ones if need be. And the adrenaline rush is no joke.

Am I crazy for wanting to start a trans self defense thingy even though I have no real formal training past the age of like 12??? Who else can help get this started.
