Today’s Israel’s ‘defense’ against South Africa’s genocide accusation case at the ICJ.

My time is too important to waste on watching whatever tired bullshit lies they’ll try to spin in front of the judges - I’ve heard enough to last me 10 lifetimes - but my bro and dad are watching and so far it’s exactly as you expected:

1. The people joking yesterday that the Zionazi lawyers will Amber Heard their way through this were right. The ‘my dog stepped on a bee’ vibe is present

2. They’re accusing everyone and everything of being pro-Khamas. Including South Africa’s team apparently?

3. Of course they’re using the Holocaust victim card

4. They’re not presenting any evidence to counter the fact that they’re committing genocide

5. South Africa hates Jews. Everybody hates Jews apparently

6. What about October 7

7. It’s not our fault Khamas are so good at hiding. We have to bomb everything because they’re inside everything

8. Lies upon lies upon lies about how Khamas are hiding inside the school desks, under the hospital baby incubators, and inside your underwear

I LOVE that they’re so enraged by this case that their arrogance is reaching new delusional heights and presenting itself for the whole world to see.

They’re making stupid mistakes and aren’t really defending their case as much as insulting and name-calling the entire world. It’s glorious.

Zionism’s end is near. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But it’s coming.

I have seen quite a few people on TikTok create content for their "my 9 to 5 and then 5 to 9" work/job life, and I know of another person creating content to showcase their work life 'in order to save $100,000' (they have 2 Full-Time jobs). It just astounds me that anyone would see this as inspiring because these mentalities are ableist as hell and do not take into account how the small billion class is complicit in most of the world's suffering; but also how these 'takes' are so far removed from the fact that under capitalism our bodies are seen as expendable. All around the world people are working themselves to the bone and are still struggling -and we must keep challenging and resisting capitalism. The more people glorify -romanticize this lifestyle of constant work are going to burn out and destroy their health. For companies who do not care. Who see you are replaceable literally -it's just sad and frustrating.

I stumbled upon this Instagram page a long time ago, and Tricia Hersey's work on "rest is resistance" is so incredibly important (there are many intricacies to her work and she addresses these intersections in her book and on her social media as well). SIX DRUMS FILLED WITH TOXIC CHEMICALS DEPOSITED BY NORTHROP GRUMMAN FOUND BURIED IN CANCER-PLAGUED LONG ISLAND TOWN

📹 Six 55-gallon drums filled with toxic chemicals, and encased in concrete coffins, some broken, were found buried under Bethpage Community Park in cancer-plagued Bethpage, a town on Long Island in New York State, which was deposited by U.S. military contractor Northrop Grumman.

Previously, the town of Bethpage had to contend with a 6-square mile toxic plume of hazardous waste resulting from Northrop Grumman's dumping of chemicals underground in the area.

At least one of the 55-gallon drums was found punctured, and some contained flammable chemicals.

The drums were found buried just 4-feet underground, underneath the Park's baseball field which was previously abandoned more than 20 years ago due to concerns over soil contamination.

According to a report in New York Post, a layer of clay was found under the drums, where authorities believe chemicals could have seeped into the ground.

Oyster Bay Supervisor, Joseph Saladino, called on authorities with New York's Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) to clean up the park by collecting all the contaminated soil and removing it from Long Island. The community's tax payers previously paid $20 million to clean up the site to allow local residents to use the Park's skating rink.

Saladino also filed a lawsuit against Northrup Grumman 10 years ago to reimburse the community's costs for the cleanup, while a new lawsuit was filed in December to order the further cleanup and removal of the toxic soil.

Local residents have been complaining of higher cancer rates in their community for years, arguing that surrounding communities have far lower rates to their own, while the DEC claimed the discovery posed "no immediate threat to public health."

Still, local residents say they're fed-up, continueing to call for the immediate removal of toxic substances, along with demands for a full soil excavation in the park.

“I’ve had it. I’ve had it. I’ve been working on this for over 20 years as a New York state Assembly member and now as the supervisor of the fourth-largest town in America and I’m not going to sit by idly,” Saladino is quoted as saying.

Northrop Grumman, for its part, said it continues to work with the DEC to address the situation.
