Bagi beberapa orang, menikah bisa jadi merupakan satu hal yang sangat sakral karena hanya dilakukan sekali dalam seumur hidup. Tapi menggelar resepsi pernikahan dengan tampil ala cosplay bagi sebagian orang, terutama penggemar karakter-karakter anime maupun manga buatan Jepang, akan meninggalkan kesan yang tak terlupakan dalam hidup mereka. Salah satu resepsi pernikahan dengan tema anime Yuri!!! on Ice, baru-baru ini juga digelar di Jakarta Design Center, Indonesia.

Acara yang diadakan pada tanggal 21 Juli kemarin, merupakan pernikahan antara dua cosplayer ternama, pemilik akun Instagram @bakasoseji dan @phinaphin. Keduanya tampil ala karakter dua figure skating, Victor Nikiforov dan Yuuri Katsuki dari anime populer Yuri!!! on Ice karya Mitsuro Kubo, lengkap dengan penampilan, kostum serta tema yang semuanya terlihat mirip.

Meski begitu, acara pernikahan bertema Yuri!!! on Ice Wedding ini sukses membuat orang bingung, pasalnya tak sedikit netizen yang kemudian bertanya-tanya apakah acara tersebut merupakan pernikahan sungguhan atau memang hanya event cosplay biasa.

Seperti yang kita ketahui, cerita Yuri!!! on Ice sendiri cukup kontroversial mengingat serial ini menceritan kisah cinta sesama jenis antara tokoh Victon dan Yuuri, yang berawal dari pelatih dan murid. Serial anime dan manga tersebut juga akan diangkat ke layar lebar pada tahun 2019 mendatang, dari mulai judul, visual, tanggal tayang, serta cuplikan video teaser-nya telah diperlihatkan beberapa waktu lalu.
